Time to get up, Time to get up.
"?… Ugh, it's too early, even though for May it's a school day plus Harry and Sara have daycare, Itsy help please." a tired sounding voice said belonging to none other than Shocket Raccoon who was the co-leader of the Guardians of Schism and the All-New Rocket Raccoon, and it was a typical morning in the house but she was havihg one of those mornings where she didn't want to get up hearing giggling as her and Itsy's kits Harry, May and Sara were up along with Itsy whom was Shocket's wife leaving her be to wake up.
"Groot Morning, Mom where's mommy." she heard May ask her, being five and a half, she was up and dressed in her Spidey shirt and jeans seeing Harry and Sara web-crawling the walls hearing laughter seeing their Soni-san Rockford who was the original Rocket who'd given Shocket the mantle of Rocket but she and Itsy had let him live with them but he loved it convincing his younger grand-kits to come down, impressing Itsy as breakfast was ready seeing them come to the table seeing Harry and Sara in their booster seats and May in her seat at the table eating breakfast.
"Mommy's just havihg one of those mornings, like you sometimes when you don't want to go to school but Sogi-san and me will convince her to get up." Itsy told her relieving May wondering who was takihg Harry and Sara to daycare this morning hearing her mom say she would seeing Rockford grin drinking coffee to wake hijself up as he had been sleepihg on the couch as he didn't feel like asking Shocket for a room, and was wearing pyjamas which Itsy found adorable seeing May had helped Harry and Sara had got dressed which Itsy appreciated seeing her eating up but Harry and Sara were eating messily makihg Itsy giggle alomg with Rockford as he was helping out.
"Awwww you guys are adorable like your big sis and your moms, I'll find a way to wake mommy up." he told Harry and Sara kissihg their heads making May smile at this seeing Itsy making lunches for them, as it was time to leave making Rockford smirk getting ready for the day heading into Itsy and Shocket's room, seeing her begin to stir looking grumpy making him gulp, but Lijda, the Guardian of Imagination version had helped her wake up, and was rubbing sleep from her eyes making herself coffee to wake herself up, relieving him.
"Groot Morning kiddo, Itsy yook the kits to school but you're having one of those mornings, eh." he told her.
"Uh-huh Rockford but just let me drink my coffee, but hope Itsy's okay alomg with the kits." she mumbled
"They're fine, Mocket's not coming back." he replied as she sat at the table having breakfast realising they needed groceries seeing Itsy there relieved Shocket was up, hugging her which Rockford fouhd sweet making her realise they needed to get groceries heading to the grocery-store but Shocket vamoosed to the soda aisle to get her Dr Pepper makijg Rockford chuckle sitting in the grocery cart like Harry and Sara when the family went shopping
"Let her be Itsy, she needs her little things that make her happy, and she's took her meds." he told Itsy.
Itsy knew this was true as Shocket not only took sleeping meds but also meds to boost her happiness when down and she'd been like that this morning so Rockford was relieved she was in a better mood seeing her returning with many cansof Dr Pepper putting them in the cart making Rockford grin at this as they were getting groceries getting a message from Harry and Sara's teacher making Itsy and Shocket exchange a look
"She wants to have a meeting with us." Itsy said to Shocket as they were paying for their groceries then leaving the store.
At daycare, Itsy and Shocket were sitting with the teacher in her office as she was sharing concerns like Sara not socialising with other kids compared to Harry who was mixing well along with biting things amusing Shocket but Rockford snorted as his grand-kits were just being kits
"Moms I'm home from school." May told Itsy and Shocket as it was later afternoon and Itsy and Shocket were sitting on the couch with Rockford seeing him put a furry finger to his mouth saying Harry and Sara were sleeping after daycare and that her moms had to talk to their teacher surprising her.
"Sorry Soni-san Rockford, I'm gonna go to my room." May told him leaving the living-room making Shocket sigh.
"Rockford you should give her sone attention like with Harry and Sara." she told him making him sighing.
"You're right Shockie, but Harry and Sara need attention too, and you and Itsy do things with May that they can't do." he told her seeing her nodding as she was hearing her comm buzz as it was Bree seeing Zola was causing trouble making her sighing as she was going with Itsy to take care of this, telling Rockford to watch the kits as they left.
Rockford sighed as he checked on Harry and Sara who were still sleeping making him grin as he came downstairs going back to the couch sitting down on the couch.
Later that night into earky morning, Shocket was up heading to the kitchen getting herself some churros she and Itsy had made with their love which was making her smile after this past morning hearing Rockford asleep on the couch wrapping a blanket aroubd him so he didn't get cold kissing his furry head seeing a soft smile on his face in sleep and she returned to her and Itsy's roon hearing Itsy asking her what had happened as she told her.
"That's sweet you gave him a blanket, as it can get cold sleeping on the couch." Itsy told her.
"Yeah and we should help him out." Shocket told her yawning falling asleep.
That next morning, Harry and Sara were curled up on the couch with Rockford which Shocket found sweet taking a photo trying not to wake them along with May as it was pretty early knowing how some mornings when May doesn't want to go to school hoping this morning wasn't one of those mornings but was snuggling into the blanket and her Itsy feeling Itsy cuddle her as she fell asleep just as the alarm was aboht to go off hitting the snooze button relieving Itsy
"Yeah, we need a little more sleep." she whispered into Shocket's furry ear.
