Groot Morning and still not used to being here, even though Rocket's happy to be here.
It was early-morning and in her room a certain super-powered female-kit was curled up in her blankets with her tenuki stuffie, Bento in her furry arms tired after being Raccoon Girl which Rocket knew about knowing she wasn't happy tohave moved from their home on Terra toCouhter-Earth because even though it looked abd felt like Earth, itwasn't thecEarth she'd grown up on so far but shedidn't have the heart, to tell Rocket as he loved it here which was all thanks to Nebula because after seeing her work with Knowhere, Rocket had been inspired to rebuild Counter-Earth into the home he'd never had growing up only Casey was angry on the inside, but calm on the outside hearing soft knocking on her door, groaning knowing it was Rocket , it was her first day of school at Counter-Earth Elementary which she'd been dreading.
"Casey, it's time to get up, and it's yohr first day of school ohyeah, I made you pancakes." Rocket told her in a calm tone knowing shecwasn't fully awake yet, guessing she'd been up doing stuff as Raccoon Girl hearing the door open seeing Casey in her signature attire with a scowl on her face and gulped asshe flew downstairs scampering into the kitchen,sitting at the table seeing Groot Morning pancakes squirying syrup on them hoping Branchie was okay, as the female-sapling was living with her mom, Carmilla now sighing.
"Are you feeling nervous, about yohr first day, Raccoon Girl." Rocket asked playfully which maxe her smile a little
"Yeah as I don't know anybody here and if they find out I'm yohr sister, they'd treat me weird." she replied, drinking her milky coffee which helped her wake up but not hype her up or make her new teacher worried so had the J-pop music on the radio knowing she loved it and making her feel better humming along with it, while Rocket was making her lunch plus adding an inspirational note in her lunch, in case she had a rough first day.
"Let's go kiddo, make some history." Rocket told her as they lect the house, and taking the car since Nebula had helped Rocket get his licence which impressed Vasey her brother knew how to drive other things than spaceships making Rocket grin pulling oht of the driveway putting the J-pop station on hearing Casey singing along with it smiling until they pulled up at the school seeing the smile fade, seeing her playing with her colored power-bands which helped her focus her many powerspowers so she wouldn't cause damage
"Hey, everything will be okay, especially of you make a friend, just show them the charming, fun you I know." Rocket told her kissing her furry head.
"Thanks bro, I'll try." she replied leaving the car unaware Rocket was hiding his anxiety about her first day driving off returning to the house as he'd mayor stuff to do.
"Lylla, can you look out for Casey,at school as it's her first day abd she's nervohs." Rocket said looking up at the sky

Casey felt anxious enteribg the ekementary-school asa lot of humnaninal kids were staring at her as she walked down the hallways to the principal's office knocking on the door.
"Cone in." she heard a warn voice say asshe entered, seeing a lion man with glasses as she sat down in front of him taking in her surroundings.
"I read your transcripts, very impressed Ms Raccoon."he told her makibg her astounded,guessing her uncle, Rocke had helped her brother, Rocket enrol her ashe was the mayor's deptutt hoping her uncle's fans were okaywith him living on Counter-Earth living with her and Rocket but the principal heard there was a situation involving a batcoon student in a black hooded top slumped in a chair outside the office having dark brownish-reddish fur likecared panda's but had a raccoon tail and Casey saw one of the rows of the girl's fangs were bat ones hidden beneath her raccoon fangs making her curious.
"Kari-E Batcoon you're latecagain as I warned you, detention." the principak told her asCasey saw the kit was around her age leaving for the third-grade room hoping the batcoon girl was okay asshe was curious about her knocking on the third-grade room doir seeing her teacher was a sloth, making her smirk, despite the hood of her top up as she felt anxious seeing all eyes on her making her heart pound with anxiety.
"You're the new sapling in our class, eh." her teacher said seeing her nodding sitting at the back of the class surprising the other humaninal kids hearing the door open, seeing the batcoon girl walking in with the hood of her top up hiding her furry bat ears like how she could hide her bat fangs and had retractable bat wings soother humaninal kids didn't see that side of her
"Kari-EvBatcoon, you're late." the teacher said as she sighed, heading to the back of the class making Casey sile curious about her but could wait until recess or lunch totalk to her oly while walking the hallways, the recess bell went off which made Casey almost jump out of her furry body putting her paws over her ears as the noise always made her anxious until hearing loud hissing as kids stampded fearfully through the hallways to the the commotion was about Kari-E and she looked terrified.
"Are you okay and half-bat." Casey asked making the batcoon female flich.
"I'm a batcoon actually but never told anybody you know.. and it happened on the first day back." she told her.
"Well I think you're awesome and it's my first day here which wasn't going great until now." Casey told her.
