It was a rainy day in the kanto region but for one it was no normal day.
Ash Ketchum is a 9 year old boy with unkempt black hair and he have Z marks on his cheeks, he wore a red T-shirt and blue pants at that day.
Ash was lost he didn't know where Gary was.
Ash took a shelter near a large tree but that wasn't doing much cause he was already drenched and suddenly he saw a pink light from the corner of his eye but as he turned his head towards the side there was nothing accept for a blue and black coloured egg
Ash ran to the egg and picked it up and waited for the rain to stop after some time the rain stopped
The sun was shining again and Ash was able to recognize the path to his home.
In just a few minutes he reached his home.
"Mom i am home" Ash said "And i found something"
"Lunch will be ready soon what did you find"Delia's voice came from the in side of the house.
Ash went in the kitchen and showed his mother the egg.
"Who's egg it is, where you got egg from"Delia said
"I found it in the forest near route 1" Ash said "I don't know what Pokémon's egg it is but I wanna keep it"
"Can I please keep it please let me keep it." Ash said with a puppy dog eyes
"Ok fine you can keep it but you we'll take all responsibility for the egg and the pokemon in it."Delia said
"YESS!!! YOU ARE BEST MOM." Ash cheered happily
"Ash you need to know how to take care of baby Pokemon" Delia said in a serious tone
"I will make sure to know everything about taking care of baby Pokemon in the next 3 months" Ash said
"Wait let's go to prof oak to get you an incubator and pokeball" Delia said
"Yes let's go" Ash cheered
They went to prof Oak's lab.
Professor Oak is a male scientist who studies Pokemon.
It is well-known that Professor Oak is not the slightest bit afraid to give his balls to little children.
Now Delia and Ash were in Oak's lab
"So here is your incubator and pokeball do you want me to tell you what Pokemon it is" oak said
"No i like the suprise"Ash said
