This story takes place 5 years prior to Pokémon: Sora and Kairi's Journey, right from the beginning and right to the defeat of Xehanort's Heartless. Reminder: I do not own Pokémon nor Kingdom Hearts. Pokémon is owned by Nintendo and Game Freak as Kingdom Hearts is owned by Disney and Square Enix.
And here's a fact to those who do not know this, but the Orre region based on the Phoenix, Arizona.
Also, I'll be calling Team Snagem Team Snatch, and Cypher Team Shadow, so enjoy!
We open up in the faraway Orre region. Unlike the other regions of the world, there aren't any Pokémon living in the wild, but there are still Pokémon Trainers. The Orre region is noticeably arid, being divided into a huge desert wasteland and a small, mountainous green region.
There are places which caters to the needs of Pokémon Trainers, known as Poké Spots. The Orre region however did have its own. This particular criminal organization is known as Team Snatch. Like Team Rocket, Team Snatch specializes with robbing Trainers of their Pokémon. Unlike Team Rocket, they used a machine that can bypass the ownership of the Pokémon and make the Pokémon their own. They called it a Snag Machine. Team Snatch has been robbing Pokémon from their Trainers from left to right.
And this is where our story begins...
5 years ago...
Team Snatch is in their HQ, going about their business. Team Snatch's uniforms consists of a gray shirt, browwish red jackets, black pants, and dark gray boots. When they heard and felt a sudden explosion. Outside of Team Snatch's HQ, a is a large, muscular man whose most notable features is his long eyebrows and mustache. He was the only one who just wore his jacket, leaving his bare chest exposed.
"What the heck was that?!" One of the Team Snatch grunts exclaimed.
"Could it be that the cops found us?" Another Team Snatch grunt asked.
"No, it's not the police. It could have been one person who would be him!" Team Snatch's boss said.
"You don't mean who I think you mean, do you?" Another Team Snatch member said.
Stepping inside is a young man wearing blue. With him is an Umbreon. He found the Snag Machine which is a black arm machine with orange streaks. He walked up to it and grinned. He and his Umbreon rushes to his vehicle as Team Snatch rushes out with their leader in front. They stepped out and spotted him. Their leader grits his teeth in rage.
"Wes!" The Team Snatch leader growled and gritting his teeth.
"Sorry I can't stay, Gonzap! But I thought I should take this off your hands," Wes said.
"You're not going anywhere!" Gonzap roared.
"Think again," Wes disagreed. He starts his engine and drove off. Gonzap knew he couldn't catch up to them.
"That traitor!" One of the Team Snatch grunts said.
"If I know Wes as well as I think I do, he's got one more ace up his sleeve," Gonzap said.
Wes drove with his two partners in the side car as Wes pulled out a small device from his pocket.
"Just one more departing presenting for you," Wes said.
It turns out that Wes has planted other bombs all over his base, making Team Snatch yelp and exclaim. Gonzap just glared at Wes until he was completely out of sight.
"WES!" Gonzap roared as his voice echoed through the canyon.
"What do we do now?" One of the Team Snatch grunts asked.
"We retreat for now. It won't be long until the authorities notices this. Take only what's most important and leave the rest!" Gonzap orderd.
"Sir!" The Team Snatch grunts said, acknowledging their leader. Gonzap grits his teeth again as he clutched his fist.
"Mark my words, Wes, you will not get away with this! When we cross paths again, you won't get away from me again! Just you wait and see!" Gonzap said.
