Dreams are a collection of thoughts, images, sensations, and emotions that occur in the mind during certain stages of sleep. They can range in content and intensity, from realistic experiences to fantastical scenarios. Dreams are influenced by a variety of factors, such as a person's experiences, emotions, memories, and subconscious mind. They may reflect desires, fears, concerns, or unresolved issues that individuals may not be fully aware of in their waking state.
Dreams can be vivid and immersive, creating a sense of reality while asleep. They can evoke many emotions, from joy and excitement to fear and sadness. People often report having different types of dreams, including ordinary dreams related to daily life, lucid dreams, where individuals are aware they are dreaming and may have some control over the dream's content, and nightmares, which are distressing or frightening dreams.
Everything I said about dreams is happening to Jaune, he is having a vivid dream, and it is evoking many emotions for him, from fear to exhaustion to happiness, as he kills the monsters of his dream.
Jaune is a great man but the weakest Huntsman-in-training at Beacon. With the help of his partner, he is striving to become better. However, not long now, they would be assigned missions, and he knows he isn't ready. It was only in his dream that he was strong.
What Jaune doesn't know is that his dream is literally going to make his dream come true.
What is the dream he is having, you might ask? He was fighting Zombies. Trillions of them are roaming around in his dreams. However, they are not the slow-moving and weak type of Zombie. Some were agile. Others were extremely strong. But the more extreme is the Zombies that have become mutated; Jaune called them Zombie Lord, Zombie King, and many others, depending on the power and mutation level.
Even in his dreams, however, Jaune was not strong enough to combat anything close to a Zombie Lord, the lowest of the mutated. Thankfully, the lesser Zombies were not too difficult for him unless he was overwhelmed by their numbers, so he tended to be more strategic when to attract and when he needed to attack.
"Phew! This is weird," said Jaune. He was exhausted in his dream. How does that work? "Is this even a dream? It's quite realistic."
Jaune couldn't recall how long he had been trapped in his dream, but he knew it had been at least five hours. During that time, he had fought off hordes of Zombies, taking down hundreds of them.
As he pondered his situation, the distinct sound of a fast-moving Zombie caught his attention. This was concerning, as he had already faced this Agile Zombie a few hours prior, and it had almost succeeded in killing him.
Jaune prepared for battle with a sword that wasn't his usual Crocea Mors. Despite his efforts to visualize it in his dreams, it never appeared, leading him to question whether this was truly a dream. The sword he wielded was one he had stumbled upon earlier, resembling Gambol Shroud.
"Come on you little shit!" said Jaune. Agile Zombies were different. They were smart and were not attracted to sound, but his smell. "I'll take you down if it is the last thing I do!"
Jaune was banking on this being nothing more than a dream. He was scared, but if this was indeed reality, then there was nothing he could do but fight to preserve his life. It was all or nothing as the Agile Zombie seemed to stalk him no matter where he goes.
The Agile Zombie zoomed toward Jaune, but he did not move. Jaune relaxed his body and let the Zombie hit him on purpose. However, as smart as the Agile Zombie was, it was not that smart. Jaune relaxed his body so that the impact would not be too severe, but that was not all. He also left the tip of the sword pointed at the Agile Zombie as it made an impact, causing the Agile Zombie to be stabbed. With this chance, Jaune, with all his might, swept his sword upwards to slice the head of the Zombie in half.
"Hah! Hah!" Jaune panted. He was in pain. Even if he lowered the strength of the impact, it still hurts, and Aura does not exist in this place. "Augh! I'm not going to do that again."
Ding! Ding!
The sound made Jaune tense. It was loud enough to attract Zombies a mile away. However, there was not a single Zombie that approached him. Not even the one that was a hundred meters away. This was confusing. Surely, that loud sound should have attracted them.
Looking around, Jaune saw something on the ground where the Agile Zombie was meant to be, but he only saw a few items which weren't there before.
[Absolute Spear—The ultimate spear, more powerful than even the Divine Spear. Said to be able to pierce anything, depending on the contractor. It will never break. It will always hit its target when thrown and will automatically return to the wielder's hand. Not for sale. Contractor: Jaune Arc]
"Oh, cool! A new weapon!" thought Jaune. The weapon he has been wielding has been badly damaged from the beginning and was on its last leg. It was a miracle that it lasted him this long.
After picking up the spear, Jaune saw other things besides it, a book and a potion.
[True Martial Arts Skill Book: A state that can only be reached by those who have learned all weapons and hand-to-hand combat arts]
[Full heal: Drink this and you will be fully healed. There is nothing else to it. So…Bottoms up!]
The book suddenly turned into a speck of light and entered Jaune's body. His head started hurting as immense knowledge appeared.
"This is just as awesome as the Absolute Spear!" exclaimed Jaune. He then sighed. "If only these things were real, then I would no longer have to hold my team back."
As Jaune was wallowing, he decided to drink the potion. Immediately, he felt better. However, didn't notice something behind him. It was a Zombie Emperor, a rank higher than the Zombie King. As it roared, Jaune panicked. Instead of running, he threw the spear in his hand at the head of the Zombie.
Although it was done out of panic, it was the right choice.
As the Absolute Spear struck the head of the Zombie Emperor, it blew up into nothing more than brain matter splattered on the ground.
Jaune was absolutely shocked. He could tell this was a Zombie Emperor due to the color of its skin markings, which was black.
After killing the Zombie Emperor on accident, Jaune grabbed all his spoils that were dropped and high-tailed it out of there since the roar attracted all the nearby Zombies.
As Jaune arrived in what he believed to be a safe place, he was able to relax. However, his in pain. Not due to the Agile Zombie, but something else. He passed out.
…
In JNPR's dorm room, Jaune suddenly woke up. He was panting as his body was in pain. However, he did not attribute this as the dream being real as he went to bed sore due to his training with Pyrrha.
"It was only a dream," thought Jaune. He felt relieved. He didn't want to be stuck in the post-apocalyptic world. "It's too bad the [True Martial Arts Skill Book] was not real. It would have been cool."
Looking at his teammate, Jaune shrugged his shoulders.
"Oh, well," said Jaune. He had a look of determination. "If it isn't real, I'll train to make it real. Simple!"
Jaune returned back to sleep, but this time, he was having a pleasant dream.
The following morning, Jaune got up and headed to the bathroom to pee and shower. As he did, he felt as if his body was as light as a feather. He paid it no mind.
As he got out of the shower and saw himself in the mirror, he nearly jumped as he thought someone was in the bathroom with him. But alas, it was only a mirror…Only a mirror!
"W-What the heck!?" exclaimed Jaune. The word shock would be an understatement. "I'm pretty sure I did not go to bed with a body like this."
Although he was shocked, he wasn't complaining; he looked good.
"Don't tell me that place isn't a simple dream," thought Jaune. He then checked his mind if he could use the True Martial Arts, and he had it all in his mind. "He-he! This is awesome. I wish I got more info on that place."
As Jaune said the word info, something in front of him popped up.

"Item box," said Jaune. He knew what it was. Hence, he called for it. He saw a panel in his view with everything he picked up in the Dreamscape. "Absolute Spear! Oh, damn! This is so cool!"
Jaune took out the spear from his item box and held it. Immediately, he felt that it was lighter than it was when he was in the Dreamscape.
