Chapter 1: Case of the Fallen Detective Part 1
a long time ago, the worlds we know and love were in their separate universes where they laugh and played, fight and lost, and relationships that are forged and those that are broken. Not all of these worlds lived in peace and harmony, but, every world that is born will always have problems. But there is a universe that has worlds connecting each other as one whole planet. As you can imagine, this caused many issues to arise. It was then decided that each world would select a representative to represent each world which formed a council. This council helped decide what each world could give to help each other as a whole. One of these decisions was to build a university for the children to learn knowledge of their new world. Of those students I began to follow until I could communicate with them... that route came to an unexpected end.

In an alleyway laid a corpse of a student who wore a blue suit as it was being stained in their blood.
'Shit, shit!' Internally screamed the murderer. 'Out of all the people who discovered my secret it had to be this kid!' The murderer began to pace around in a panic. 'People definitely heard the scuffle and that... Wait, I can frame it on them! The police have been looking for them for months! It's perfect, I just need to set the scene!'

We see a teen running down a street in a hurry as they pass individuals left and right.
My name is Izuku Midoriya. I'm fourteen years old quirkless kid aspiring to become a hero. I was told that couldn't become a hero because of my quirklessness and to give up on my dream, but, I couldn't. Sure I came across some difficulties like my best friend turned bully torturing me and when my idol said I couldn't become a hero because of my lack of a quirk, but, that changed when my hero saw me dive in to save my former friend from a villain. He became my teacher and offered me his quirk. Once I become strong enough I can gain his quirk... however... "I'M RUNNING SO LATE!" He shouted startling some people. 'Why didn't I set an alarm!? Stupid Deku, letting your tiredness from the other day get you.' Thought Izuku as he turned a corner sharply. 'And it doesn't help that the route I planned to take was under construction!' Izuku then pulled out his phone and held it tightly. 'I should text him and let him know what' "Happppened!" He exclaimed as he got dragged into an alleyway.
"Sorry, sweetie I didn't mean to scare you like that. Said a girl.
Izuku turned to see a blonde-haired girl with yellow eyes with a bright smile showing her fangs. She was dressed in a blue school girl outfit being dressed in a blue school girl outfit as it was covered by a white sweater with a red necktie. "I, it's o, okay?" Asked Izuku with a stutter. 'I'm talking to a girl!'
Ah, you don't have to be nervous sweetie, we are dating. Said the girl making Izuku blush.
"W, wait, wh... Miss. Toga." Said a large man coming around the corner who interrupted Izuku.
The large man was dressed in a light brown coat with brownish pants and black shoes. He had a light brown cap on his head covering his thick eyebrows as his eyes stared at Izuku and Toga, while his thick mustache twitched in annoyance.
"Ah Detective, my apologies I was just explaining to my boyfriend here the current situation when you came around the corner. Said Toga as she hugged Izuku's arm.
"I see." Said the detective. "I'm Detective Megure of the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department. He then walked towards Izuku. "Do you understand the situation that your girlfriend is in right now?"
Izuku looked at his "girlfriend" and could see the look in her eyes, "Help me."
I understand she is in some trouble sir, but, you cut her off before she could tell me." Said Izuku as he continued the lie.
"Well Mr?" Asked Megure raising an eyebrow.
"Ah, sory, my name is Izuku Midoriya." He said extending his hand.
"Well, Mr. Midoriya, Himiko Toga here is being charged with first-degree murder." Explained Megue after shaking Izuku's hand.
'Murder!' Thought Izuku as he froze on the spot. 'She's a murderer!?'
'Don't judge people on first glances, kid.' Said a voice snapping Midoriya out of his stupor.
"Murder?" Asked Izuku. "I can't picture Toga killing someone."
Megure tipped his hat down as if he was grieving. "It would be best if you see for yourself." He explained leading them to the crime scene.
As they turned the corner Izuku saw police blocking off the alleyway. They then entered the crime scene as a man looked towards them making his eyes widen.
"Ah, it's you!" Shouted the man as he pointed his hand toward Izuku.
"Death Arms!" Shouted Izuku in equal surprise. His eyes then drifted towards another two familiar faces. "Mt. Lady and Kamui Woods, too!"
"The Sludge Kid again?" Asked a surprised Mt Lady.
"That's... rather ironic." Said Kamui as a sweatdrop dropped from his mask.
"You know him?" Asked a surprised Megure.
"Yes, he's a kid that interfereed with offical hero work." Explained Kamui. "We left him off with a warning due to him having no quirk."
"I see." Said Megure as he looked at Izuku questionablely.
'Great, not a few seconds in and the Detective already has a bad opinion of me.' Thought Izuku as he mad a shy smile.
"Honestly, the kid did more then you guys." Said a male voice as he walked into the alleyway.
The man had black spikey hair showing some grey hairs, red eyes, and a slight stubble on his lower jaw. He wore a grey dress shirt with a long tail with a tatter red cloak attached to it, and had grey dress pants and shoes.
"Hey just because your a Huntsman doesn't mean you can tell us how to do our job!" Shouted Death Arms.
'A Huntsman?' Thought Izuku. 'What is a Huntsman doing here?'
"Gentleman, we have more pressing matters." Said Megure looking towards the victim.
Izuku also looked towards the victim and his eyes went instantly wide in shock. "T, that's, t, that's... Shinichi Kudo." Said the Huntsman finishing Izuku's sentence.
"What the hell happened!" He exclaimed to Megure.
"That's what we're trying to figure out, Mr. Branwen." Said Megure.
'Branwen as in Qrow Branwen!' Mumbled Izuku. 'He's one of the best teachers at Signal Academy and a well-known Huntsman amon... 'Cough!' Izuku then snapped out of his mumbling as Megure coughed to get Izuku's attention.
"S, sorry, I have an interest in Heroes, Huntsman, and such and I can't help but theorize about their abilities and... Sweetie." Said Toga as she did a light nudge with her elbow making him stop.
"Right." Said Megure. "As you can see, we want to keep this as quiet as possible given the victim's status."
"Did you at least have someone inform the deceased's family?" Asked Qrow.
"Yes, I have someone doing that now." He said as he turned to Toga and Izuku. "Now could you give me the time of your whereabouts?"
"Why does he have to give his whereabouts?" Asked Kamui. "I told you who did it, it was her!" He said pointing to Toga.
"Mr. Woods, I understand that you observed the whole incident yourself, but, I'm still required by law to gather testimonies of all parties involved." Said Megure as he gave Kamui a stern stare. "Or did that slip during one of your lessons at your hero school?"
"Sorry, detective it's just so infuriating that we have the literal Vampire of Musutafu in front of us!" He exclaimed in annoyance.
'She's the Vampire of Musutafu!?' Thought Izuku as he looked at Toga. She then looked at him with sadness in his eyes seeing his horrified look.
'She may be a wanted criminal, but, did she do this?' Asked the mysterious voice. 'People have reasons for what they do Izuku Midoriya.'
'A reason for what they do?' Thought Izuku.
"Now Mr. Midoriya, where were you when Kamui Woods discovered the victim?" Asked Megure.
'Okay, I have to make this believable.' Thought Izuku. He thought back to the places he passed on the way. He then remembered seeing a sushi stand and a line of people in front of the place. "I went to get me and Toga some sushi down the road. She said she wait near this alleyway while I go and get the sushi. When half an hour went by I realized I wasn't going to get any and went back to Toga to discuss other options when she dragged me into the alleyway to tell me of her situation."
"A sushi stand?" Asked Megure.
"I know the one he's talking about." Said Mt Lady with a finger on her chin. "It's run by an old man from Qrow's world, I don't remember his name unfortunately."
"I see." Replied Megure. "And Miss. Toga, Izuku says you were waiting outside of the alleyway, but, Kamui Woods puts you here with the victim."
"I admit I went into the alleyway, but, I only went in there when I heard a fight going on." Said Toga. "I let curiosity get the best of me and when I did..." She then put her hand to her head. "It gets fuzzy from there."
"You tripped and hit your head on the trashcan which knocked you out." Said Death Arms. "After Kamui called us about the situation, we saw you lying on the ground. Mt Lady was about to check up on you when Kamui said that he already checked on you and said that you were knocked out."
'That doesn't make any sense.' Thought Izuku as he looked at Toga's forehead. 'There's no indication of a bruise or injury.'
'Perhaps she was hit from behind.' Said the voice.
"I see, thank you Death Arms." Said Megure. "Miss. Toga given the information before us, we must take you in."
"Wait!" Exclaimed Izuku getting everybody's attention.
"Why wait?" Asked Kamui as he walked in front of Izuku. "Your girlfriend is a wanted criminal for assaulting people at night and drinking their blood." Kamui then looked over at the victim. "There's even bite marks on the victim's neck."
'This is your first break kid, use it.' Said the voice.
"You say she attacks people at night?" Asked Izuku as Kamui Woods was taken aback by this.
"Yes? It's her m.o." He replied with his arms crossed.
"If that's the case, then why did she drink his blood here?" He asked Kamui Woods still in the same position. "It's broad daylight sir, she could be seen by anyone who bothered to look in here." Izuku then looked toward the victim and pointed to the puddle of blood. "Another thing that's bugging me is the puddle of blood."
"The puddle of blood... OH!" Shouted Megure realizing what Izuku was saying. "If she had drunk his blood there would be traces of it on her outfit!"
"She could have changed her outfit with something nearby." Said Qrow. "Her clothes do look a bit worn and dirty."
"I didn't have any money to do laundry." Said Toga. "My home doesn't have a washer or dryer, so I have to go to a laundromat when I need laundry done."
"So you chose to go on a date in that outfit?" Asked Mt Lady.
"Well, as you can see, I didn't want to keep this adorable cinnamon roll waiting." She said with a smile as Izuku blushed.
Kamui then chuckled catching Izuku's attention. "Okay, if you say that she didn't drink his blood, then why are there bite marks on the victim's neck?" He asked Izuku.
"Well, we are in an alleyway." Said Izuku. "A mosquito could have bitten him while you were waiting?"
"T, that's true." Said Kamui as a sweatdrop went down from his mask as he stuttered.
"There's still the matter of the knife, kid." Said Death Arms pointing to an evidence bag containing a bloody knife.
"I use that to protect myself from people who try to touch me." Said Toga.
"So you stabbed Shinichi Kudo in the neck to protect yourself?" Asked Kamui. "Did he figure out that you were the Vampire of Musufatu and tried to apprehend you?"
"No!" Shouted Toga with her hands on her hips. "I don't remember stabbing anyone and besides, the same logic applies here with your bite mark accusation."
"Not necessarily." Said Mt Lady.
"What do you mean?" Asked Izuku as the heroes stared at Megure.
Megure then grabbed a sideway's light that was next to the bloody knife and proceed to the wall. "Mr. Woods, if you could use your quirk real quick." He said as Kamui nodded. Kamui then used his quirk to create a dome around them leaving no light behind.
Megure then activated the light as it glew purple and shined it on the wall. On the wall was a long strand of blood splatter indicating something had flung blood onto the wall. "Okay, Mr. Woods, you can let go of your quirk now." Said Megure as Kamui retracted his quirk. "We have photos but, the man I sent to inform the victim's relatives has the camera."
"I see." Said Izuku as he gripped his hands. 'Dammit, is there nothing I can do to help Toga! Kachan was right, I'm a useless Deku.'
"I see you understand the evidence before you, kid." Said Qrow as he was fiddling with a cigarette.
"It was admirable that you tried to save your girlfriend kid, but, the evidence doesn't lie." Said Mt Lady with a frown.
"Well, if that's taken care of." Said Kamui as he walked to Toga as he brandished a pair of handcuffs. "Himiko Toga you are under arrest for the... HEY, THAT'S AN ACTIVE CRIME SCENE!" Shouted a male voice as running could be heard.
Everyone turned to see a girl with brown long hair and bluish-purple eyes. She wore a blue school shirt and skirt with a green tie. The girl was out of breath as she stood there panting
"I'm sorry, sir, but she just ran past me and the other officers!" Said the man as he was catching his breath. The man had short black hair that swayed a little, he wore a black suit, a light blue dress shirt, and a dark blue tie which was covered by a camera.
"Ah, that's Mori's daughter!" Shouted Megure in shock and surprise.
"Detective, where is... S, Shinichi." Said Mori as she stared at her dead friend/crush on the ground. She then fell to her knees as tears went down her cheeks which was then followed by a despairing wail.
