Author's Note: Hello, one and all!
So, I've been thinking about doing an AU crossover with The Rescuers and The Great Mouse Detective for a while. I felt that now is the time to do one. The setting of the story is that it'll be set after the first Rescuers movie and before The Rescuers Down Under.

Let's get right into it! The Rescuers & The Great Mouse Detective don't belong to me; all rights go to Disney.
Chapter 1
It is a dark, foggy night in London, England. Despite the muggy weather, a special occasion is taking place at Flaversham's Toys.
Inside the shop is the proprietor, Hiram Flaversham and his young daughter, Olivia Flaversham.
"You know, Daddy…this is my best birthday." Olivia remarked, playing with a small-sized rocking horse.
"Ah, I haven't given you your present yet." Hiram pointed out.
Hearing this, little Olivia became excited.
"What is it? What is it?" She asked eagerly.
"Close your eyes," Hiram instructed.
Olivia obeys, but then peeks.
"Oh no, no. No peeking now." Hiram said and Olivia covers her eyes giggling.
Hiram opens a door and pulls out his daughter's gift. Setting it on the table, Hiram winds up the toy and it began to come to life; just as Olivia opened her eyes.
In front of Olivia; is an exquisite, wind-up, mouse ballerina doll. The doll dances, as music plays.
"Oh, Daddy!" Olivia exclaimed in awe. "You made this just for me?" She marveled at her father's creation.
Outside, a dastardly peg-legged bat named Fidget is making his way to the shop. He lets out a sinister, guttural laugh.
"You're the most wonderful father in the whole world." Olivia hugged Hiram appreciatively, as the toymaker beamed.
But alas, this tender moment between the duo would be cut short by a commotion at the door.
The noise grew louder as the door tries to open, scaring the Flavershams.
"Who's that?" Olivia asked, startled.
"I don't know." Hiram replied, looking around.
Without hesitation, Hiram leads Olivia to a safe, hiding place.
"Quickly, stay in here and don't come out." He placed his daughter inside a cabinet.
Suddenly, the windows burst wide open as Fidget reared his face.
Within the confinement, Olivia listens to the chaos ensuing in her father's establishment. Opening the door just a bit, Olivia takes a peek to see what's going on.
Horrified, she watched the handicapped bat shake and jostle her father about. The next thing Olivia knew, the door is closed shut and the room goes dark. She could hear the bat's evil laugh and Hiram calling for help.
The young mouse tried with all her might to get the door open against a table. At last, Olivia gets freed.
Looking around, the place is a mess with spilled paint and overturned furniture.
"Daddy!" Olivia called. "Daddy, where are you?"
She ran to the open window, searching for her father. "Daddy, where are you?"
"Daddy!" Olivia yelled, her voice echoing.
"Daddy!"
