I- I didn't know…how to tell you
Those words replayed constantly in Miles' mind as he was frantically swinging, desperately trying to get home to save his father. Each time he heard those words again and again, he became only more confused and enraged.
I lik- loved her, and look what that led to. She betrayed me, she knew the whole time and yet said nothing. Did anything we did mean anything to her? Was she just leading me on so she could trap me and let my father die? She even dared to smile at me, after what she did, but was she trying to protect me? No, yes, no, yes, no, DAMMIT, doesn't matter she didn't care enough to stop Miguel or warn me, so I obviously meant nothing to her
He shook his head, he was still confused and angry, more angry than anything, but he had a job to do and that was to save his father from the Spot, and any Spider-man or woman who dared to stop him will get hurt, badly, even his own friends. If I even consider them friends anymore. He was nearing the headquarters where the machine that would take him home was located. Becoming invisible to creep in unnoticed, he wished there was a spider-man he could take out his anger on, to show the maricon they called Miguel, what he was capable of. His eyes lit up with a poisonous smile, as he saw two spider-men guarding the collider unaware of what awaited them. This is where the fun begins, he thought as he crawled right above them. Let's show Miguel and the rest of this shitty society what I'm really capable of.

The one question that occupied the swinging Gwen Stacy's mind was Why? Why did I visit him? Why didn't I tell him the truth? Well, she knew the answer to the first question. It was simple really, she missed him, he was the first friend she had in a long time and now she may have lost him forever, No, I can fix this, but how?
She silently cursed herself for not telling Miles the truth sooner, and they could've found a way to save his father, together, side by side. Instead, she had opted to keep him in the dark and trust he would never find out about his father's fate, but he found out the truth and she will never forget the way he looked at her on the train. All she could see in his hazel eyes was a look of betrayal and sadness. She never forgot the two words he said to her before falling off the train, Goodbye Gwen. A lone tear fell from her eye. I'm so sorry Miles, forgive me, I'm so sorry. She bit back a sob, as she noticed they were nearing headquarters.
She glanced to her left at Peter, but he too seemed lost in his own thoughts. As they swung through the headquarters entrance, Miguel spoke up, "Gwen and Peter, stay out of this, I won't have you two ruining our chance to stop Morales from disrupting the multiverse. If you try to stop me, I will not heist-" Gwen looked at him confused as to why he stopped talking but soon noticed what he was looking at and she gasped. There were two spider-men bodies and they didn't look good, at all.
