Teen Titans Beyond
Spoiler: This is another main episode of my season, so in this chapter we will see Blackfire as the main villain again. The Titans will really step up in this episode too.
One Giant Leap
It was a bright and sunny day in Jump City and the streets were packed with people, some were walking on foot while others were driving. They were all eagerly getting ready for a big event that was going to take place in their city, and tourists were arriving from other cities to witness this event. At Titans Tower, the Titans were also preparing for this big event as they gathered in the main room with the lights off while Cyborg stood in front of them. Cyborg stood in front of the TV, which showed a diagram of the Earth, moon, and sun, and Cyborg also held a pointer in his left hand.
He pointed at the diagram while he spoke like a teacher and explained, "So the moon reaches the point in its orbit where it's between the Earth and the sun. The moon blocks out the light from the sun, casting a shadow on the Earth, the Penumbra covers a larger area while the Umbra focuses on a much smaller location."
Robin smiled with a mildly amused expression as he said, "Cyborg, we all know what a solar eclipse is, you don't have to explain it."
Cyborg clinched his pointer tightly as he excitedly exclaimed, "Sorry y'all I'm just so excited! We're actually going to experience a total solar eclipse today!"
Beast Boy was laying back on the couch with a bored expression as he said, "Great Cy. Can we turn the TV back on now?"
Cyborg glared at him as he said, "Beast Boy!"
Raven was reading a book on the couch when she glanced up and said, "I'm actually with Beast Boy on this one Cyborg."
Everyone was shocked as they looked at her with an exclamation mark over their heads as Cyborg said, "Huh?!"
Raven looked at them as she explained, "The eclipse doesn't start for two hours, we've got plenty of time before then."
Robin understood as he calmly agreed and looked at Cyborg as he said, "And the eclipse only lasts eight minutes anyway."
Cyborg nodded as he frantically exclaimed, "Yeah, and it won't happen again for another fifty years, in Kenya!"
Raven lowered her book as she stated, "You should stop making such a big deal out of it. We can just go outside to watch it when it's time."
Beast Boy agreed as he complained, "Yeah, come on dude. I'm missing Rockamon!"
Cyborg was upset as he said, "An eclipse doesn't happen every day! This is a once in a lifetime chance! We gotta make the most of it!"
Starfire smiled at Cyborg as she happily said, "Agreed Cyborg. On my planet such a celestial event would be celebrated with food and marry-making."
Cyborg smiled as he happily turned from Starfire to the others and said, "You see?! Starfire's got the right idea!"
Starfire turned around and put her hands together as she smiled cheerfully with her eyes shut as she said, "Indeed. I am most thankful that I am able to spend this rare glorious occasion with all of you, my friends."
Suddenly the screen behind her changed and showed Blackfire as she smiled evilly and said, "Sorry to rain on your parade sister dear."
Starfire let out a cry of fright as she turned around while Blackfire laughed and all the other Titans stood up and stared at the screen.
Starfire glared daggers as she angrily said, "Blackfire!"
Opening theme song
The Titans all glared at the TV screen as it showed Blackfire with a smirk as Cyborg said, "Well, well, look who's back."
Blackfire smiled mockingly as she said, "Hello Titans, miss me?"
Robin glared at the screen as he spitefully said, "Like a headache!"
Starfire floated closer to the screen as she angrily said, "Why have you returned Blackfire?"
Blackfire stepped back from the camera as she smiled evilly and said, "I've been working with the Gordanians again and we've prepared a nice little present for you all."
The screen then showed a giant red and orange base on the moon with a giant round cannon on top of it pointing straight up.
While the screen showed this Blackfire explained, "We built this amazing new base on your planet's moon with a powerful fusion cannon atop of it."
Robin, Cyborg, and Raven simultaneously gasped in shock and horror while Starfire fearfully said, "No! You wouldn't!"
Blackfire smiled evilly as she said, "Oh yes I would."
Beast Boy looked at the others as he cluelessly said, "Uh, can someone tell me what the heck that thing is."
Cyborg was very worried as he explained, "It's a giant laser cannon that has the punch of a nuclear weapon!"
Upon hearing this Beast Boy's jaw dropped in shock and fear as he stared at the screen, knowing well how dangerous it was now.
Blackfire had a sinister smile as she said, "And it's fully operational. Once the moon moves us into position, we'll fire it and destroy your precious city. When the sun turns black, we'll fire it and destroy your precious city!"
Beast Boy was very afraid as he said, "It's like the Blast Moon from Clash of the Planets!"
Cyborg spoke urgently as he pointed at the screen and said, "That weapon will reduce the entire city to a crater with one shot!"
Raven showed a serious expression as she said, "And there's no telling what else she'll do with it afterwards!"
Blackfire smiled sadistically as she said, "Your planet will be mine for the taking!"
Starfire glared daggers at the screen as her eyes glowed green and she furiously yelled, "You will do no such thing!"
Robin also glared at the screen as he said, "We will stop you!"
Blackfire smiled mockingly as she said, "I was hoping you'd say that. It wouldn't be as fun if you didn't try. Come and get me, if you can."
The screen then turned black and Starfire kept floating in the air as she stared at the screen and clinched her fists angrily.
Robin looked up at Starfire as he assured, "Don't worry Starfire. We'll stop her."
Starfire turned to face the others as she glared daggers with her eyes glowing green as she said, "YES WE WILL!"
The others were shocked by her serious attitude and Robin looked somewhat concerned; later they got the T-Ship ready to launch. The silo doors opened and they launched the T-Ship into the sky and as they breached Earth's atmosphere the booster rockets detached.
The T-Ship started flying to the moon as Cyborg happily said, "Booyah! Here we come!"
Beast Boy had a big grin as he excitedly said, "This is so cool! I can't believe we're really going to the moon!"
Starfire stared forward with a serious expression as she said, "Friends, please remain focused."
Robin agreed as he held onto the control yoke and said, "Starfire's right. Remember the plan. We land outside the base to avoid being detected, we find a way in, get to the controls, and shut off the fusion cannon before it can fire."
Raven stared forward as she deadpanned, "And how are we supposed to cross make it from the T-Ship to the base?"
Cyborg smiled proudly and confidently as he said, "That'll be easy with the new space suits I made for us."
Starfire kept staring forward as she fiercely said, "Then I will finally stop my sister from threatening my home and my friends ever again!"
The others were surprised by her behavior as Raven showed concern as she said, "Starfire, are you okay?"
Starfire kept staring forward with her eyes narrowed as she said, "I am perfectly fine!"
Beast Boy was also concerned as he honestly said, "You sure? Because you're starting to sound like Robin."
Robin showed an annoyed expression while Starfire's expression softened and she apologetically said, "Forgive me friends. I only wish to prevent Blackfire from escaping again and to make sure she does not emerge victorious."
The others understood how she felt as they remained silent for a while and nodded respectfully as they stared forward.
Robin showed a serious expression as he said, "Well everyone suit up because we're coming up on our destination."
They flew the T-Ship down to the surface of the moon and landed in a large crater, unaware that they were seen. In the Gordanian base, Blackfire was staring at a monitor that showed the T-Ship landing in the crater.
She had her arms folded with a devious smile on her face and turned to a Gordanian while saying, "Perfect! My sister and her friends have arrived. Right on time. Now the fun begins. Send in the big guy to welcome them."
The Gordanian nodded as he pushed a button, causing a door on the outer wall to open up and release something.
Blackfire smiled maliciously as she said to herself, "Let's see how strong you and your friends are Starfire."
The Titans got out of the T-Ship and everyone, except Starfire, was wearing high-tech space suits that Cyborg developed. Raven was wearing her blue cloak outside of her suit and Cyborg's space suit covered most of his body except for his arms and legs. Robin and Beast Boy's space suits looked nearly identical but Robin's suit had a special version of his utility belt, and all space suits had a "T" on the chest.
Beast Boy happily looked around at the moon and looked at his suit as he said, "Cyborg you're a genius! This is awesome!"
Cyborg looked at Beast Boy as he smiled sheepishly and confessed, "Thanks BB, but there's something I should tell you. There was one problem with your suit that I couldn't fix."
Beast Boy looked a bit nervous as he asked, "What kind of problem?"
Cyborg was not happy as he answered, "It only comes in one size."
Beast Boy became shocked and nervous as he exclaimed, "What?! You mean I can't transform in this suit?!"
Cyborg smiled optimistically as he said, "Yeah but don't worry. You won't have to fight anyone until we get in the base."
Raven looked out as she anxiously said, "I'm not so sure about that."
They all felt a pounding feeling on the ground as they heard something, and it was getting stronger as something approached them. They looked over the rim of the crater and watched Cinderblock step on top of it and look back at them as he roared threateningly.
Beast Boy was shocked as he yelled, "Cinderblock?!"
Cyborg stared at him as he said, "What's he doing up here?!"
Robin glared daggers with a serious expression as he deduced, "Blackfire must've recruited him to stop us!"
Starfire glared at Cinderblock with her eyes glowing green as she seriously said, "Then we shall defeat him! Titans go!"
The others were a bit surprised by her as she flew at Cinderblock, then the others went to join her, except Beast Boy who stayed behind. Starfire and Raven flew while Robin and Cyborg ran on the ground as they approached Cinderblock on the rim of the crater. Cinderblock jumped high in the sky, higher than he could on Earth thanks to the moon's lower gravitational pull. He came crashing down and the Titans scattered to avoid him as he slammed his feet on the ground, sending chunks of rock flying.
Robin glared at Cinderblock threateningly as he declared, "We've beaten you on Earth and we'll beat you here too!"
Robin threw a few birdarangs at Cinderblock, but these were special birdarangs, as opposed to his regular ones. Small rocket thrusters ignited in the middle as they flew at Cinderblock and fired small red lasers at him. The lasers hit Cinderblock all over his body as he roared in frustration and when the birdarangs flew closer to him he swatted them with his big stone hands and destroyed them.
Cyborg came up next to Robin with an impressed expression as he said, "Yo! What the heck were those?!"
Robin kept staring at Cinderblock as he said, "Target seeking birdarangs. One of a few new gadgets I made for a time like this."
Cinderblock roared as he ran at them and pulled his left arm back as he tried to smash them both with his fist. Robin and Cyborg separated as Cinderblock missed and punched a small hole in the ground before turning his head. He focused on Cyborg as he grabbed him and then slammed him into the ground before throwing him away. Cyborg crashed on the surface of the moon before he got back up and saw Cinderblock coming right at him, roaring. Cyborg immediately fired his right sonic cannon at Cinderblock's face and made him stumble backwards before Starfire threw a few starbolts at him. They exploded against his body but he was still standing as he grunted and lifted up a huge boulder and threw it at her. The boulder hit Starfire and sent her flying, then Raven floated in front of Cinderblock and held her hands out as she fired a blast of her dark magic at him. She knocked him down but he got back up and tried to punch her, only for her to avoid him, then Robin came and threw an explosive disc at Cinderblock's face. It blew up in his face and Cinderblock grunted angrily as he raised his fists over his head and tried to smash Robin, who quickly got out of the way.
Cinderblock tried to attack Robin again but Starfire flew at him and punched him in the face three times before he grabbed her and threw her away. Cinderblock turned to see Cyborg jumping toward him with his right leg out as he prepared to kick him while the bottom of his foot opened up to reveal his sonic blaster. He kicked Cinderblock in the face while firing his sonic blaster, blasting Cinderblock and knocking him on his back. However, Cinderblock got up again and roared as he swung his left backhand at Cyborg and knocked him away. Robin jumped high above the ground and held out his bo staff before he swung it and hit Cinderblock in the face several times. Cinderblock grunted as he tried to grab Robin, but Robin agilely avoided his hand and ran away as Cinderblock tried to stomp on him. Starfire came back and flew around Cinderblock while she shot her eyebeams at his chest, but he did not show much pain. He jumped at her and grabbed her in his hands, then he slammed her into the ground and stomped on her, driving her deep into the moon. He raised his left fist over his head and prepared to smash Starfire, but then he was hit from a blast of Raven's dark magic.
He saw her floating in front of him with her eyes glowing white as she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She then shot magic bolts of black lightning at Cinderblock and made him grunt as she forced him back away from Starfire. Raven stopped and Cinderblock regained his footing as he growled at her and tried to attack her, but she flew to the side just as Robin threw some flash bombs at Cinderblock's face. They flashed bright white light that temporarily blinded Cinderblock, and when his eyesight returned he saw Cyborg jumping at him. Cyborg punched him in the face and knocked Cinderblock back, only for Cinderblock to stay on his feet and knock Cyborg away. He lifted a giant boulder over his head and prepared to throw it, but Cyborg blasted it with his sonic cannon and destroyed it, causing pieces to fall beside Cinderblock.
Cyborg glared at Cinderblock as he angrily lowered his sonic cannon and yelled, "No moonrocks for you buddy!"
Cinderblock grunted angrily and then jumped high up, but Robin threw an explosive disc at him while Raven blasted it with her dark energy. This caused a large explosion that knocked Cinderblock back and sent him crashing down to the moon as he landed on his back. Beast Boy joined Raven, Robin, and Cyborg as they all stared at Cinderblock lying down, thinking he was finally beaten as he laid motionless on the ground.
Beast Boy smiled as he clinched his fists and punched them out as he victoriously yelled, "Yeah! Bang, zoom, straight to the moon!"
But his happiness was short-lived when Cinderblock growled as he got back on his feet and looked at the Titans angrily. He put his hands together and slammed them on the ground, causing a massive tremor and sending chunks of rock at the Titans. Robin and Cyborg fell back while Raven was knocked to the ground by a small rock that hit her while she was floating. Beast Boy was the only one not affected as he fearfully looked down at Robin, Cyborg, and Raven while Cinderblock roared in fury. He then noticed Beast Boy by himself and stomped toward him as he prepared to smash him with his right fist. Since Beast Boy could not change while in his space suit, he could not fight or fly away, so he stared up and screamed in fear.
Cinderblock started swing his fist down on Beast Boy, who screamed, "Help!"
Suddenly, Cinderblock was hit by a big starbolt and blasted away from Beast Boy and he watched as Starfire floated down over the green Titan.
Her eyes glowed green with rage as she furiously exclaimed, "You and my sister will not harm my friends!"
Her hands glowed green and she flew at Cinderblock as fast as she could and punched him several times as he cried in pain. She hit him in the face, the torso, and everywhere else on his body as he took the beating and was knocked down on his back. The rest of the Titans gathered and watched Starfire brutally battle Cinderblock as she threw a big starbolt at him and knocked him onto his back. He got back up and watched as Starfire flew straight at him and then kicked him as hard as she could, sending him flying up. He did not come back down as Starfire knocked him out of the moon's gravitational pull, sending him floating in Earth's orbit unconscious.
The other Titans were all shocked as they stared up at Starfire, who turned to them and said, "Hurry! We must not dillydally!"
She flew off with her fists out and left the others; Beast Boy's eyes were wide with shock as he said, "Dude! She's starting to freak me out!"
Cyborg was just as surprised and intimidated as he said, "Yeah, I've never seen Star fight so hard! It's kind of scary!"
Raven was also a bit intimidated as she watched Starfire and said, "She does seem more intense than usual."
Beast Boy nodded in agreement as he pointed at Raven and said, "Yeah! She's even scarier than you Raven!"
Raven still looked intimidated as she said, "I should be offended by that, but honestly I can't argue with you there."
Robin looked at the others as he solemnly said, "She just wants to make sure that we stop Blackfire, and she's right. Let's go."
Raven then created a platform of her black energy that carried herself, Robin, Cyborg, and Beast Boy as they followed Starfire. They all flew and soon approached the Gordanian's moon base with the giant fusion cannon pointing straight up. Starfire led the way as she spotted a large door in the base and flew toward it while Raven flew after her with the others. They landed outside the door and it opened automatically, allowing them to step through it before it closed behind them. The room was an airlock, so it soon filled up with air, which Cyborg detected with his systems and signaled the others to remove their suits.
They put their suits on the floor and Beast Boy happily said, "Sweet! That's way better. Now I can change again!"
He happily turned into a dog and stretched out, then he turned into a bird and flew for a moment, then he turned into a monkey and happily stretched his arms and tail out.
Robin looked at the others with a serious expression as he said, "Okay, now that we're in we have to find the control center and stop that fusion cannon from firing."
Beast Boy turned to Robin as he curiously asked, "But how are we supposed to find it? This place is huge!"
Cyborg looked around and scanned the room with his robot eye until he detected something and walked to the wall. He pulled a panel off of the wall and found a small terminal connected to some pipes and wires within the wall. The others watched as Cyborg made a small connector plug emerged from his right fingertip, which he plugged into the terminal.
Cyborg stared forward and then showed shock while he said, "I'm downloading schematics for the whole base. Whoa!"
They all looked at him as Robin asked, "What is it?"
Cyborg looked at the others as he said, "This isn't just a base! It's a ship too! There's a bunch of thrusters designed to launch the base from the moon in case of an emergency."
Raven was a bit surprised as she said, "I guess they wanted to be ready in case they needed to make a quick escape."
Starfire clinched her fists as she fiercely asked, "Where is Blackfire?!"
Cyborg shook his head in disappointment as he said, "Doesn't say Star. Sorry."
Starfire looked vexed, whereas Robin seriously asked, "Anything about the command center?"
Cyborg nodded with a serious expression as he said, "Yeah! It's in the center of the base on level five, just above the power core."
Cyborg unplugged his finger from the terminal and turned to face the others while looking at a screen in his left forearm.
He pushed a button in his arm while he said, "I'm transmitting a map of the facility to your Communicators."
They all looked at their Communicators and Robin put his away and calmly said, "Good job Cyborg. Now let's get to the command center and disable the fusion cannon."
Starfire floated in the air and clinched her fists, which glowed green while she fiercely said, "And then we find Blackfire and kick the butt!"
Suddenly a monitor on the wall turned on and showed Blackfire's face as she mockingly said, "In your dreams, little sister."
They all glared at the monitor as Cyborg spitefully said, "Speak of the devil!"
Blackfire had a sinister smile on her face as she looked at them and said, "I see you all managed to defeat my rocky friend."
Robin glared at the monitor as he fiercely said, "We've beaten Cinderblock before. You should've got someone else!"
Blackfire glanced around in thought as she honestly said, "I ran into him during my short stay on your planet, and I thought he might useful to me in a time like this. He seemed to do better than all those super losers I hired."
Starfire floated closer to the monitor as she glared daggers and said, "And we still defeated him just as we will do to you!"
Blackfire chuckled arrogantly as she leered at Starfire and said, "I like your attitude sister, but kicking my butt won't be so easy. Let me give you some better opponents to fight."
The monitor turned off and the inner door of the airlock opened to reveal a bunch of Gordanians staring at them with staffs in their hands. The Gordanians aimed their staffs at the Titans and they all rapidly fired blue blasts of energy from them.
Commercial break
The Gordanians fired their weapons at the Titans, but they all dodged the blasts as they fought back against the aliens. Beast Boy morphed into a Triceratops and charged forward, knocking several Gordanians out of the way. Cyborg promptly fired his right sonic cannon and blasted one Gordanian into another one behind him, and both crashed into the wall. Starfire flew through the air with her fists glowing green as she punched several Gordanians and knocked each out with a single blow. Raven held her hands out as she created a large barrier of her black magic and sent it out, knocking a bunch of Gordanians back. A few Gordanians remained as they came at Robin, but he quickly reached into his utility belt and pulled out two gadgets. He pulled out golden gadgets and put them over his fingers like brass knuckles, and he punched each Gordanian that came at him. When he punched them his gadgets would shock them with electricity, causing them to scream in pain as they fell to the floor.
With all the Gordanians beaten the Titans regrouped and Beast Boy smiled at Robin's gadgets as he said, "Nice!"
Robin smiled proudly as he showed the gadgets over his fingers and said, "I've been saving these for a special occasion."
Starfire spoke seriously as she said, "Most impressive, but we must seek the control center and stop Blackfire!"
Raven looked at the others as she seriously said, "They know we're here. They're probably sending all their troops to our location right now."
Robin looked at everyone as he seriously said, "We'll split up. Everyone take a corridor and meet at the control center."
Cyborg looked at everyone as he said, "Use the maps in your Communicators to find your way through the base and reach the control room."
Starfire showed a serious expression as she said, "And once we regroup, we shall disable the fusion cannon and defeat Blackfire!"
The others nodded in agreement as Robin seriously said, "Let's go!"
They all nodded and separated as they hurried down separate corridors to find their own way through the base. Cyborg ran down one corridor and saw a bunch Gordanians flying toward him, he activated his left sonic cannon and blasted a few of them. He then held his right fist out and launched his arm out with his hand in a fist, and his arm flew around and punched all the other Gordanians in the face, knocking them out. Cyborg's arm returned and reattached itself while he deactivated his sonic cannon and charged at the remaining Gordanian and punched him, sending him crashing into a wall. Meanwhile Raven flew down another corridor when a bunch of Gordanians came and fired their staffs at her. She quickly created a wall of her black magic that blocked all their blasts then she sent the wall out crashing into the Gordanians, knocking them out. Her wall of dark energy vanished and then she flew and turned around a corner to see more Gordanians flying toward her. She held her hands out and fired several beams of her black magic at them, knocking them out of the air and crashing to the floor. She flew through an automatic door and entered another hallway where several Gordanians stood, armed with staffs. Raven's eyes glowed as she sent out daggers of her black magic that sliced the Gordanians' staffs in half, then she blasted them all with her dark energy and knocked them out.
Meanwhile, Beast Boy flew through another hallway as a bird when some Gordanians came and shot their staffs at him. Beast Boy swiftly avoided their blue blasts and then morphed into an Ankylosaurus and swung his clubbed tail at one and knocked him into the wall. He then transformed into an elephant and charged at another Gordanian and rammed him into a wall behind him. The other Gordanians fired blue blasts of energy at him but Beast Boy turned into a cheetah and sprinted forward as he avoided their shots. He jumped in the air and morphed into a gorilla as he landed on one Gordanian, knocking him to the floor before slamming his fists down on him, knocking him out. He looked ahead and saw the remaining Gordanians, so he got off the one he knocked out and morphed into a T-Rex. He charged at the Gordanians and swung his head at them as he knocked them all out of his way and knocked them out. Meanwhile, Robin was by himself in one hallway as he punched two Gordanians with his electric brass knuckle gadgets, zapping them and knocking them out. He put the gadgets back in his utility belt and took off running as he swiftly through the corridor but stopped when he came to an intersection.
He silently approached the corner of the wall while he heard a voice say, "The masked Earthling is on his way here. We should be able to destroy him easily."
He peeked around the corner to see a few Gordanians in his way, though they were currently facing the opposite direction. He saw a large pipe above them and deployed his grapple and used it to swing and climb on top of the pipe. He looked down and dropped a round device on the floor near the Gordanians, and it shocked them all with electricity and knocked them out. He jumped down and saw one Gordanian left as he came at him, but Robin pulled out his bo and swung it at the Gordanian's face twice and knocked him out.
Robin looked down at the Gordanians as he proudly said, "I may not have powers, but I'm not so easily destroyed."
He turned and took off running as he continued to make his way through the base, following the map in his Communicator.
Meanwhile, in another hallway a bunch of Gordanians were firing their staffs as one of them yelled, "Blast her!"
They were all firing blue blasts of energy at Starfire as she flew at them with her eyes and hands glowing green. She flew every which way and avoided their blasts before flying at the Gordanians and punching them with her glowing hands, knocking them all out. She flew around a corner and saw a few more Gordanians aiming their weapons at her, but she fired her eyebeams and hit the first Gordanian. When he was down she rapidly threw a bunch of starbolts and hit each Gordanian, knocking him to the floor as she flew by. She flew with her fists out and smashed her way through a door to enter another hallway, but she stopped and floated in the air when she saw a couple dozen Gordanians standing in her way. She let out a yell of righteous fury as she put her hands together and fired a big ray of her starbolt energy and took out all the Gordanians with one shot.
They all lied on the floor as Starfire fiercely yelled, "You will not stop me from protecting my home and stopping my sister!"
She took off flying as fast as she could and hurried through the hallways of the Gordanian base, letting nothing stop her. Meanwhile, Blackfire was in the control room as she stared at a computer terminal with a monitor showing the position of the moon.
A Gordanian came to her and seriously said, "Mam, your sister and her Earth friends are defeating our men! They're making their way toward us!"
Blackfire looked at him with an arrogant smile as she deviously said, "Yes, they are very persistent. I like that about them. But we still have a few surprises in store for them. Tell our three war machines to get ready."
Sometime later, Robin entered a hallway intersection and found two Gordanians standing in his way as they prepared to fight. Robin threw an explosive disc at one of them and knocked him back, then jumped and swung his bo at the other's face and knocked him out. They both laid unconscious on the ground as Robin stood and stared ahead at the entrance to the command center. He waited for a moment and looked around as he heard loud crashes occur in rooms nearby and knew that his friends were close. Starfire smashed her way through a door and flew over to Robin and landed beside him, then Raven appeared as she phased through a door in a field of her dark magic. Cyborg used his strength to pry one door open and joined his friends while Beast Boy charged through another door as a Triceratops.
He turned human and joined the others while Robin showed a friendly smile and said, "Hey guys, glad you could make it."
Cyborg looked at the doors in front of them with a serious expression as he said, "The command center is just ahead."
Raven promptly showed a serious expression as she stared at the doors and said, "Then let's get this over with!"
Starfire floated with a fierce expression as she said, "Agreed! Let us destroy their weapon and defeat Blackfire!"
They all charged forward and went through the automatic door as the entered another hallway with another door all the way at the end.
They hurried toward the door while Robin urgently said, "We'd better hurry! The eclipse is going to start soon!"
They stopped when a monitor emerged from the ceiling and showed Blackfire's face as she smiled at them mockingly.
They all glared at the monitor as Blackfire tauntingly said, "Hello little sister. I'm glad to see you and your friends made it this far. I have to admit, you're not as weak as you look."
Cyborg glared at her as he said, "Why don't you come in here and face us yourself so we can show you how tough we really are?!"
Blackfire had a diabolical smile as she said, "Actually I have a better idea. I'd like you all to meet three more friends I made when I was on your planet."
The door opened up and three of the Titans' enemies entered the hallway and stared at them as the door closed behind them. The Titans were shocked as they saw Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload standing before them, behind the monitor of Blackfire.
Cyborg glared at Atlas while he yelled, "Atlas!"
Raven stared at Kardiak as she exclaimed, "Kardiak!"
Robin stared at Overload as he seriously shouted, "Overload!"
Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload all stared at the Titans while Blackfire smiled evilly and said, "Oh, you know each other? Well I'll leave you alone then. Have fun."
The monitor turned off and retracted into the ceiling while Beast Boy nervously said, "For an evil villain, Blackfire sure makes a lot of friends."
Starfire's eyes glowed green as she glared daggers and fiercely said, "It does not matter! We will stop her and save the city!"
Atlas smiled evilly as he clinched his fists and said, "Don't be so sure Tamaranean! You'll have to get past us before you can do that!"
He retracted his left hand and blasted his left laser cannon at them, but the Titans scattered and avoided the blast. Robin and Starfire were together when Overload came at them and held his arms out as he tried to shoot them with bolts of lightning.
They both dodged the bolts and glared at Overload as Robin said, "I think it's time you experienced a power outage!"
Overload growled before he pulled his arms back and then lashed them at Robin and Starfire like whips of energy. Robin avoided one of them but the other hit Starfire and zapped her as she cried in pain, but she recovered and shot her eyebeams at Overload. The beams hit his body but he was still standing as his body changed shape as he stretched out and then hit Starfire with his left arm. He knocked her down and then Robin threw an explosive disc at Overload, which blasted him backwards and knocked him down. Overload's body changed shape as he got back on his feet and then he shot several bolts of lightning at Robin and Starfire. Starfire took Robin's arms and carried him as she flew around to avoid the bolts while Robin threw an explosive disc at Overload. It did not hurt him much as he only groaned and shot sparks of electricity from all over his body and attacked again.
Meanwhile, Raven and Beast Boy prepared to fight Kardiak as Raven said, "Kardiak, prepare to have a heart attack!"
Kardiak immediately floated toward Raven and Beast Boy as he extended two of his tube/tentacles at them. The end of one of them turned into a wrecking ball, which he swung at them, but they both avoided it and Kardiak dented the floor with it. Kardiak turned the end of his other tube/tentacle into a buzzsaw and jabbed it at Raven, but she blocked it with a force-field of her dark energy. She dropped it and blasted Kardiak with her black magic and knocked him to the floor as his tubes/tentacles returned to normal. Beast Boy then charged at Kardiak as a Triceratops, but Kardiak extended several of his tubes/tentacles out and grabbed the green Triceratops and threw him at Raven. Beast Boy reverted to his human form and crashed into Raven as they both fell to the floor, but they got back up and kept fighting.
Raven's eyes glowed white as her black magic covered her hands while she chanted, "Azarath Metrion Zinthos!"
She created blades of her black magic that flew at Kardiak and sliced his tubes/tentacles to pieces, but he quickly repaired himself. He then stretched four of his tubes/tentacles out and tried to hit Raven but she quickly flew out of the way while Beast Boy flew at Kardiak as a bird. He flew at Kardiak and then turned into a bear and slashed his claws at Kardiak's heart chamber, leaving scratches on it. Kardiak pushed moved some of his smaller tubes/tentacles out and forced Beast Boy away before the scratches healed.
Beast Boy turned human and looked up at Raven as he commented, "This dude really has a strong heart."
Meanwhile, Atlas attacked Cyborg as his arms spun vertically at the shoulders, like wheels, and he ran at Cyborg and tried to smash him. Cyborg jumped out of the way and Atlas crashed into a wall and smashed part of it instead, but he stopped and then grabbed Cyborg in his hands.
He held Cyborg close and stared him in the face as he arrogantly said, "Atlas dominates! Your world is doomed human!"
He threw Cyborg at a wall and sent him crashing through it, but Cyborg climbed out and watched Atlas perform his next move. He held his fists straight out at his sides, then his upper body spun around at high speed while his head and lower body stayed in the same position. Atlas then started running at Cyborg while his upper body kept spinning like a propeller with his fists out. Cyborg ducked and rolled out of the way as he went under Atlas and blasted his right sonic cannon at him, sending Atlas up to the ceiling. He crashed through the ceiling but came back down as tried to smash Cyborg with both his fists, but Cyborg rolled aside, got up, and jumped at Atlas and punched him in the face. He then advanced at Atlas and punched him in the face several times and forced him backwards before trying to punch him again one last time. Atlas grabbed Cyborg's right fist in his hand and then slammed him down to the floor before throwing him against the wall. Atlas then retracted both of his hands and fired both laser cannons at Cyborg, but he dodged both blasts and then launched six missiles from his shoulders. The missiles blew up one by one against Atlas as he extended his hands out and tried to shield himself but the missiles forced him backwards. Then Cyborg yelled in fury as he jumped at Atlas and punched him in the face with his right fist.
He knocked Atlas down and smiled victoriously as he said, "Still haven't learned your lesson, huh tin can!"
Meanwhile Overload floated in the air and shot a bolt of lightning that zapped Starfire and sent her down to the floor by Robin. He gritted his teeth in anger as he ran at Overload and then threw a couple of birdarangs at him, but they were destroyed when they hit Overload's energy body. Overload's body sparked as he kept floating in the air and then stretched his arms out toward Robin, but he dodged his arms as they hit the floor. Robin pulled out some kind of bomb and threw it at Overload, but the bomb released a bunch of water that splashed against Overload. He screamed in pain as he fell to the floor, but he recovered as he stretched his midsection out toward Robin and tried to attack him. Robin did flips and jumped around to dodge Overload's attacks as he jabbed his arms at him, then Robin got away from him and quickly put on rubber gloves. He ran at Overload and punched him several times, his rubber gloves protected him but Overload managed to shock him with a small amount of electricity. Robin screamed in pain as he was knocked down and Overload then flew at him just as he was getting back up.
Overload swung his arms at Robin, but he swiftly dodged them and slid under Overload and got up behind him. Overload quickly turned around and his body became spherical as he shot out a pulse of electricity from his body, but Robin ran and evaded it. Overload returned to his regular shape and landed as he used his powers to shock the metal floor and zap Robin and knock him down again. Robin looked up to see Overload standing over him as he prepared to attack again, but Starfire quickly flew at Overload. She rammed him with both of her fists and knocked him into a wall behind him, but then Overload shocked her. He then stretched his left arm at her and hit her hard and knocked her back down toward Robin, who immediately helped Starfire.
She got back up and they both looked at Overload as Robin seriously ordered, "Starfire, get ready!"
He pulled out some special birdarangs and threw them at him, then stabbed his energy body and energy surged from them as Overload began to cry in pain. Starfire then threw several starbolts at Overload and blasted him down to the floor near Atlas while he cried in pain again.
Starfire showed a serious expression as she looked at Overload and Atlas while she said, "Most shocking."
Meanwhile, Beast Boy was a gorilla as he held onto Kardiak and pounded his fists on him before Kardiak moved his tubes/tentacles out and forced Beast Boy off of him. Raven held her hands out and hit Kardiak with a blast of her black magic, knocking him back, but he kept floating as he turned the end of one of his tubes/tentacles into a mallet. He swung it at Raven but she flew down and ducked, causing him to miss and smash his mallet into the wall. He pulled his tube/tentacle back as it returned to normal and then Beast Boy flew over Kardiak as a bird and then turned into an elephant and fell on top of him. He slammed Kardiak down against the floor, but Kardiak stretched a tube/tentacle up and used its suction to lift Beast Boy off of him. He then threw the green elephant away and Beast Boy turned human as he hit the floor when Kardiak lunged four of his tubes/tentacles at him. Raven flew in front of Beast Boy and created a wall of her black magic that blocked Kardiak's tubes/tentacles. She dropped it and then blasted him with her dark energy and knocked him into the wall behind him, but he floated back at them and prepared to attack.
Beast Boy joined Raven and exclaimed, "Raven, hold him still!"
Raven did as he said and held her hands out, encasing Kardiak in her black magic to restrain him, then Beast Boy turned into an Ankylosaurus and swung his clubbed tail at him. He knocked him down toward Atlas and Overload, then the three villains got up and stared at the Titans in front of them.
Cyborg smiled overconfidently as he said, "Had enough?!"
Atlas smiled deviously as he said, "Not even close. Unite!"
Overload's energy body changed shape as he flew into one of Kardiak's tubes and entered his heart chamber. His energy filled up the inside Kardiak's heart chamber and lit it up with his blue and white energy, and his circuit board head could also faintly be seen in the middle. Kardiak then floated behind Atlas and moved his tubes/tentacles to him and plugged them all into his torso, attaching himself to Atlas. Atlas shut his eyes with an evil smile and when he opened them his eyes glowed blue and white like Overload's energy as he stared at the Titans. The three technological villains had just merged together with Kardiak on Atlas' back like a strange backpack and Overload inside him, flowing his energy through Kardiak into Atlas' body. Sparks of electricity surged from their shared body as the Titans looked at the strange combination of villains standing in front of them.
Raven was a bit impressed as she said, "Didn't expect that."
Cyborg was also somewhat impressed as he stared at the villains and admitted, "I'm feeling some serious déjà vu right now."
Atlas smiled evilly as he stared at the Titans and yelled, "Behold our combined power!"
Sparks of electricity from Overload surged all over Atlas and Kardiak while Atlas slammed his hands on the floor and shocked it, thus shocking the Titans as well. They fell down and got back up and watched Atlas stand back up and stare at the five of them with an evil smile.
Beast Boy stared at them and expressed exasperation as he complained, "Great! An evil robot turducken!"
Atlas smiled evilly as he clinched his fists with sparks of electricity surging as he arrogantly said, "Yes! Combined in this form we are invincible!"
Robin bravely glared at the combined trinity as he defiantly said, "We'll see about that! Titans, take them down!"
Atlas then charged at the Titans and yelled in fury as he tried to smash them with his fists, only for them to scatter and dodge him. Starfire flew at Atlas and punched him in the face, sending him flying through the air, but Atlas recovered and floated in the air with Kardiak's help. Atlas smiled evilly as he floated and held out his right arm while retracting his hand and aiming his laser cannon at Starfire, but instead of a red blast he fired a blueish white blast of Overload's energy. The blast hit Starfire and knocked her out of the air; Robin helped her but she got up and glared back at Atlas as he deactivated his laser cannon. Raven floated in the air and created a platform of her dark energy that carried Cyborg to Atlas in the air as he pulled his right fist back and prepared to punch him. However, Atlas held his legs straight out and did almost a full split as he spun his lower body at high speed like a propeller. One of his legs hit Cyborg and knocked him off Raven's platform, sending him crashing to the floor by the others. They all looked at the three combined villains as Atlas' lower body stopped spinning while he kept floating in the air. Robin threw three explosive discs at the villains but Atlas held his arms up and shielded them with his hands as they blew up against them.
He lowered his hands and smiled maniacally as he said, "Pathetic humans!"
Two of Kardiak's tubes/tentacles detached from Atla's torso and stretched out to the sides and the ends of both turned into large wrecking balls. They swung them both at the Titans but missed as they scattered, then the tubes/tentacles retracted back and reattached to Atlas' body. Beast Boy turned into a T-Rex and tried to bite the fused villains, but they dodged his jaws and Atlas punched Beast Boy in the face and knocked the green T-Rex down.
Beast Boy reverted to his human form while Raven flew down and helped him up as he said, "I liked these guys better when they were three different bad guys."
They got out of the way when Atlas flew down at the floor and tried to smash them, only two miss and dent part of the floor. Cyborg blasted the three villains with his right sonic cannon and sent them crashing into the wall behind them, but they got up and Atlas smiled evilly as they kept fighting. Cyborg ran at him but Atlas' fists started glowing with Overload's blueish white energy covering them and then Atlas punched Cyborg while simultaneously shocking him. He sent Cyborg flying toward the others before he hit the floor; Cyborg got back up and they all watched Atlas walk closer toward them. Two of Kardiak's tubes/tentacles detached from Atlas' body again and stuck straight out while Atlas' upper body spun around at high speed. Kardiak's tubes/tentacles were whirled around while Atlas' upper body spun and they hit Starfire and Cyborg and knocked them both down. Atlas' upper kept spinning around while his legs stayed in place and Kardiak's two tubes/tentacles whirled around. Starfire immediately got up and held her arms out as she grabbed one of Kardiak's tubes/tentacles and held it in place. This caused Atlas' upper body to stop spinning and then she used her superstrength to lash him out and smash him into the wall to her left. Kardiak's tubes/tentacles retracted and reattached to Atlas' body while he climbed out of the hole in the wall his body made.
The three combined villains then floated in the air as Atlas glared at Starfire while she floated in the air and started throwing starbolts at him. The starbolts did not do much damage as Atlas held his fists out and spun his arms vertically like wheels while his torso stayed in place. He flew at Starfire as fast as he could and hit her with his fists several times before sending her crashing into a wall. She climbed out of the hole and shot her eyebeams at the three combined villains and knocked them back before they recovered and floated in the air. Raven and Starfire floated above the boys as Raven held her hands out and shot three bolts of black lightning at the bad guys and hit them. However, the three combined villains were still floating in the air as four smaller tubes/tentacles from Kardiak detached from Atla's back and aimed at the Titans. The insides of them glowed blueish white before they all shot bolts of lightning at the Titans, prompting them to scatter to avoid them. The tubes/tentacles reattached to Atlas' body as the three technologically fused villains floated and watched the Titans. Beast Boy flew at them as a bird and then changed into a giant squid as he wrapped his tentacles around the villains' shared body. Atlas struggled to try and get Beast Boy off but Beast Boy held his arms tightly while wrapping some of his tentacles around Kardiak. They then used Overload's power to shock Beast Boy with electricity, causing him to release them and fall to the floor before turning human. He looked up as Atlas prepared to smash him with both his fists until the villains were hit by a sonic blast from Cyborg and one of Starfire's starbolts, knocked them away from Beast Boy.
He joined his friends as Starfire angrily said, "We have no time for this!"
Robin stared at the door behind the three fused villains as he seriously said, "Starfire's right! The eclipse is about to start! We have to get in there and stop that fusion cannon!"
Cyborg pointed his left finger at Robin and Starfire before pointing his left thumb at himself while he said, "You two go on and stop that thing! BB, Rae, and I will handle the techno triplets!"
Robin hesitated for a moment but Raven looked at him as she exclaimed, "Go!"
Robin and Starfire nodded in agreement before Robin made a run for the doors at the end of the hall with Starfire flying over him. The three combined villains saw them and flew to try and stop them, but Cyborg blasted them with his sonic cannon while Raven also hit them with a blast of her black magic. Atlas raised his arms as he and the other two turned their attention to them, and Beast Boy flew around them as a bird while Cyborg and Raven kept attacking them. Robin and Starfire managed to get past the mechanically fused villains and entered the control center through the automatic doors before they closed behind them. They looked around and saw a giant room with a giant metal chamber in the center, no doubt the base for the fusion cannon above. Beneath the chamber was the power core for the fusion cannon and the entire base, but it could not be accessed by them.
Robin looked around as he urgently said, "We made it! Now we just need to stop the cannon from firing!"
Starfire flew over to a computer terminal while Robin followed her and watched as she started hacking into the system. There was a large monitor on top of the terminal that showed a map of the Earth's surface shown by the weapon's targeting system.
Starfire hastily typed on the computer as she urgently said, "We must hurry! The city is almost within range of the weapon!"
Suddenly she was hit by a purple starbolt and blasted away from the terminal as Robin yelled, "Starfire!"
She sat up and looked up to see Blackfire floating high above her with her eyes glowing purple as she smiled evilly.
Starfire's eyes glowed green as she angrily said, "You!"
Blackfire kept leering down at Starfire as she sarcastically said, "Poor Starfire. You tried so hard, and came so close, but it wasn't enough."
Robin glared and pointed his left finger at Blackfire as he bravely said, "We're going to stop you and we won't fail!"
Blackfire smiled evilly as she shouted, "You're too late!"
Down on Earth, in Jump City, the eclipse finally started; everyone looked up at the sky as the sun changed and turned black with a white rim around it. Up on the moon, the Gordanian base's targeting system was now finally locked onto Jump City as the monitor showed it with the words "Target Acquired" above it. The giant cylinder-shaped chamber in the center of the room started to make a loud ringing noise as the fusion cannon started charging up.
Starfire's eyes stopped glowing as she showed fear and cried, "No!"
Commercial break
Blackfire kept floating in the air as she was joined by several Gordanians as they entered through a door and stared at Robin and Starfire. The Gordanians awaited Blackfire's orders while Robin and Starfire both looked at them and her with frightened expressions.
Blackfire smiled evilly at Robin and Starfire while gloating, "In five minutes, the cannon will be fully charged and fire!"
Starfire's eyes glowed green again as she flew straight toward Blackfire and furiously yelled, "No it will not!"
Blackfire threw a few purple starbolts at Starfire, but she kept flying as she avoided them all and punched Blackfire in the face, sending her flying.
She looked down at Robin while she urgently exclaimed, "Robin, shut off the cannon! I will battle my sister!"
Robin nodded and ran toward the terminal while Starfire continued to fight Blackfire, she tried to punch her twice and then kick her but Blackfire blocked her attacks. Her fists glowed purple as she punched Starfire on the stomach and face a few times before sending her crashing into a wall.
Blackfire's hands stopped glowing purple as she pointed at Robin and yelled, "Gordanians, destroy the Earthling!"
Robin stopped running and watched as the Gordanians flew in with their wings and landed in front of him, all holding their staffs. Robin did not back down as he ran at them while they fired blue blasts of energy at him and Starfire continued to battle her sister.
Robin ran at the first Gordanian and prepared to fight as he said, "You're in my way!"
Meanwhile outside the command center, Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven were still fighting Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload, who were still fused together. The three fused villains floated in the air as Atlas fired a blast of Overload's energy from his right laser cannon. The three Titans scattered to avoid the blast as Cyborg fired his left sonic cannon and blasted the villains back, but they recovered. Beast Boy morphed into a Stegosaurus, then Cyborg grabbed his tail and threw him at the fused bad guys, slamming them into the wall. Atlas used his strength to lifted up the green Stegosaurus, but Beast Boy turned into an electric eel and shocked them.
However, with Overload's help they harmlessly absorbed the electricity and as Atlas happily said, "Yes! The power!"
He then threw Beast Boy away and he reverted to his human form as he screamed in terror and hit the floor by Raven.
Raven stared at Atlas, Kardiak, Overload as she sarcastically told Beast Boy, "Nice job."
Two of Kardiak's tubes stretched out and the ends took the faint shape of hands, with holes in the fingers, as he reached them at Cyborg and grabbed him. While he was in their grasp they shocked Cyborg with Overload's electricity as he cried in pain while Beast Boy and Raven hurried to help him. Kardiak's limbs then threw Cyborg at Raven and knocked her out of the air while Beast Boy watched, then morphed into a kangaroo and jumped at the villains. When he came close he transformed into a rhino and crashed into Atlas' body and knocked the three villains back, but Atlas grabbed Beast Boy and threw him at Raven and Cyborg. Kardiak retracted his two tubes while Atlas spread his legs apart and bent them with his "toes" pointing down. The villains flew at the three Titans while Atlas' lower body spun at high speed and he used his legs like a drill as they approached the heroes. The three of them scattered and Atlas only drilled through the floor, making a large hole that led to a lower level of the base. His legs stopped spinning as the villains rose out of the hole, just as Cyborg jumped at them and punched them, sending them crashing into a wall. They floated out of the hole and flew at Cyborg as Atlas punched him and knocked him away as he screamed loudly.
Cyborg hit the floor and got back up as he grunted angrily and yelled, "Let's see if you guys can take a punch!"
He held his left fist out and launched his arm out, sending it flying the three mechanical villains as it punched Atlas in the face. However, Atlas grabbed Cyborg's arms and threw it back at him, causing it to punch Cyborg in his face and knocking him down. Cyborg reattached his arm and glared at them while Beast Boy joined him and transformed into a monkey. Cyborg threw him at Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload and when the green monkey came at them Beast Boy turned into a sasquatch. He roared as he slammed his fists on the three villains and knocked them to the floor. But they floated back up as Atlas grabbed Beast Boy and threw him back at Cyborg, sending them both flying past Raven. She watched her two friends crash into the wall as they groaned in pain with dizzy expressions, then she glared back Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload.
Atlas smiled arrogantly as he held his arms out and taunted, "We have more than enough power to spare!"
Overload's energy flew from Atlas' hands as they used his power to lift large pieces of metal and machinery into the air and hurled them at Raven. She held her hands out encased the objects in her black magic before moving her arms out and throwing them to the sides of the hall. Raven floated up and fired a beam of her black magic at the combined villains, but they avoided it as they flew to the side. Then a few of Kardiak's smaller tubes/tentacles pointed at Raven and fired bolts of lightning at her; Raven dodged two of them but the third zapped her and knocked out of the air.
The tubes/tentacles retracted as Atlas smiled evilly and gloated, "Foolish humans! You are no match for us together!"
His fists glowed with Overload's blueish white energy as they flew at the Titans and tried to punch them, but they scattered and avoided them.
Raven looked back at the fused Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload as she said, "I hate to admit it, but I'm beginning to think they're right."
Cyborg ran at them as he furiously yelled, "Don't give up!"
He jumped at them and tried to punch them, but Atlas held his fists straight out to his sides and his upper body spun at high speed with his head and lower body staying in place. As his upper body spun his one of his fists hit Cyborg and knocked him away, sending him flying through the air and crashing into a wall. Beast Boy flew through the air as a bird before changing into a Martian Pit-Rex as he roared and lashed his tongue around. He jumped at the three fused villains and grabbed Atlas' torso as he wrapped his locks around his arms and slashed his claws at Atlas' face. He managed to knock Atlas' face back and forth and then make his head spin for a moment before Atlas glared at him with his glowing blue and white eyes. They then shocked Beast Boy with Overload's electricity as he cried in pain, then Atlas threw Beast Boy to the floor. Beast Boy got back up watched the three villains fly down toward him, but he turned around and swung his spiked tail at them. Unfortunately, Atlas grabbed Beast Boy's tail and spun his upper body around at high speed as he whirled Beast Boy around and threw him at Cyborg. Beast Boy turned human as he hit Cyborg, but then Raven lifted chunks of metal and machinery into the air with her black magic and hurled them at the three villains. All objects hit the three villains but they stayed floating in the air as Atlas smiled evilly at Raven while two of Kardiak's tubes/tentacles extended out to the sides. They moved toward Raven as the ends both turned into buzzsaws, but Raven created a spherical force-field around herself that protected her. Cyborg blasted the three villains with his right sonic cannon and sent them crashing into the wall as Kardiak's tubes/tentacles retracted. The three Titans watched as the three villains recovered and prepared to fight as Atlas stepped closer toward them with his fists clinched.
Beast Boy nervously stared at the three villains as he asked, "Could we stop them if we soaked them with water like we do Overload?"
Raven kept staring at the villainous combination as she seriously said, "Maybe but we don't have any water to soak them with!"
Cyborg aimed his right sonic cannon at them as he angrily yelled, "Just keep fighting! We only need to keep them busy long enough for Robin and Starfire to stop the cannon!"
He blasted his sonic cannon at them but they dodged it as Atlas ran to the Titans as fast as he could and prepared to attack. Meanwhile in the command center, Starfire was still battling her sister while Robin fought the Gordanians standing in his way. One of them fired a blue energy blast from his staff but Robin avoided it and threw an explosive disc at him, knocking him back. Robin jumped at another Gordanian and kicked him in the face before jumping at another one and grabbing his head. Another Gordanian fired his staff at Robin, but Robin jumped off the Gordanian he was holding onto, and the blast hit the Gordanian instead. Robin then kicked the Gordanian that fired in the face and knocked him out, then Robin landed on the floor when another Gordanian came and tried to stab him with his scepter. Robin dodged it and threw himself at the Gordanian, punching him in the face twice before kicking him and knocking him out. While he fought the rest of the Gordanians, Starfire and Blackfire continued to fight each other as they flew over them. Blackfire put her hands together and threw a big starbolt at Starfire, but she dodged it and flew at Blackfire and punched her in the face. Blackfire then shot her purple eyebeams and blasted Starfire into a wall behind her; Starfire floated up as Blackfire flew at her with her fists out. Starfire held her hands out and grabbed her sister's fists as they stared each other in the face and tried to overpower each other.
Blackfire smiled evilly as she sadistically said, "I'm glad you're here little sister. I wanted you to have a front row seat to watch your city be destroyed!"
Starfire headbutted Blackfire, then kicked her away before she angrily exclaimed, "You will never succeed!"
She flew at Blackfire, who angrily flew toward her, and the two alien sisters collided as they continued to fight to the finish. On the floor, only three Gordanians remained, so Robin pulled out three special birdarangs and threw them out. They flew at the Gordanians with thrusters in the backs and fired red lasers at them; they tried to blast the birdarangs with their staffs but missed. The birdarangs flew close to them and blasted the Gordanians, knocking them out; the birdarangs flew back to Robin and deactivated.
He hurried back to the computer terminal and started working as he urgently said, "Less than three minutes! Better hurry!"
Blackfire was knocked back in the air when she recovered and looked down at Robin with an amused smile.
She looked back at Starfire as her hands glowed purple while she grinned and goaded, "Your boyfriend is as stupid as you!"
She threw two starbolts at Starfire, but she swiftly dodged them and yelled in fury as she put her hands together and fired a ray of her starbolt energy at Blackfire. She blasted her into a wall and looked at the chamber as she noticed the ringing sound was getting louder as it kept charging.
Starfire turned away from the chamber and looked down at Robin as she urgently exclaimed, "Robin, reverse the polarity!"
Robin frantically typed at the computer as he said, "I'm trying Starfire! I don't understand this technology!"
Starfire spoke frantically as she exclaimed, "You must stop it!"
Robin stopped typing as he looked up at Starfire and exclaimed, "It's too advanced! I don't know how to stop it!"
Blackfire flew back toward Starfire and punched her in the face, sending Starfire flying before she recovered and floated in the air.
Blackfire floated in the air with an evil smile as she gloated, "You see? There's nothing you can do! You've lost!"
Starfire screamed in rage as she flew at her sister and tried to punch her, but Blackfire put her hands together and threw a big starbolt at Starfire. She blasted her away and then flew after and kept fighting while Robin stared at the monitor and noticed he had less than a minute left. Outside, the inside of the fusion cannon at the top of the Gordanian base was starting to glow red as it prepared to fire at Jump City.
Suddenly, Robin looked worried until he got an idea as he said, "Blackfire's right! I can't stop it from firing! Wait…"
He then typed into the computer again and input some commands that he could understand and he made progress. He finished and suddenly the hole base started shaking, prompting Starfire and Blackfire to stop fighting for a moment as they looked around in curiosity.
Starfire looked at Robin as she curiously asked, "Robin, what is happening?"
Robin smiled deviously as he said, "We're going for a ride."
Outside the command center, the rest of the Titans were still with Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload fused together. Atlas had his fists straight out when he spun his upper body around with his legs and head in the same position. He knocked Beast Boy, Cyborg, and Raven down but they got back up and prepared to keep fighting as they glared at the three fused villains. They all stopped and looked around curiously as they also noticed the base shaking around them and then heard a loud noise.
Beast Boy curiously asked, "What's going on?!"
Cyborg looked at a screen in his right hand and was surprised as he said, "The base's thrusters are igniting!"
Raven was shocked as she said, "What?!"
She, Beast Boy, and Cyborg looked around and showed fear as the base kept shaking, and even Atlas showed a bit of fear as he looked around. Outside, the Gordanian base's thrusters ignited and the whole base started flying off of the moon and into space as it started to turn.
Back in the command center, Blackfire looked at Robin with rage as she demanded, "What have you done?!"
Robin looked at Blackfire and smiled triumphantly as he answered, "I couldn't stop the cannon from firing so I decided to throw it off its aim. I activated the base's thrusters and now the whole thing is flying in space."
Blackfire was shocked as she exclaimed, "You what?!"
Outside, in space, the fusion cannon finally fired its giant powerful red laser, but it missed Earth completely and only fired into space, damaging nothing. Down on Earth, the people of Jump City were blissfully unaware of what was happening as the eclipse started to end and the moon moved out of pace, showing the sun.
Back in the command center of the base, Robin smugly grinned at Blackfire as he folded his arms and said, "Sorry Blackfire. You just waisted your only shot."
Blackfire yelled in fury and said, "You annoying little Earthling!"
She gritted her teeth as she prepared to shoot her purple eyebeams at Robin, but Starfire flew at her and grabbed her. She caused Blackfire to miss as her purple eyebeams destroyed the computer instead, prompting Robin to jump out of the way. Blackfire immediately pried Starfire off of her and then threw her at a wall while floating in the air, then she turned and glared at Robin.
She turned away from him and glared at Starfire as she furiously yelled, "Say goodbye to your boyfriend, sister!"
She raised her arms over her head and created one giant purple starbolt over her head and then threw it at Robin.
Starfire immediately flew to Robin with her arms out as she yelled, "No!"
She grabbed Robin and flew out of the way, causing the giant purple starbolt to miss him and hit the giant metal chamber instead. The starbolt exploded and damaged the chamber, causing a chain reaction that went all the way down to the power core below. An alarm sounded throughout the base as sparks of electricity surged from the walls, and outside explosions occurred in the sides of the flying base.
Robin and Starfire looked at the damaged chamber and showed fear as Robin urgently said, "She's damaged the power core! This whole base is gonna blow!"
Starfire gasped in shock as she looked around and noticed small explosions erupting from the walls while some of the terminals also blew up. The base was floating in Earth's orbit as more explosions erupted from the sides, and throughout the base the Gordanians screamed in terror as they ran. Many of them hurried to escape pods and abandoned the base and flew into space while their former base kept blowing up.
Blackfire floated in the air and her eyes stopped glowing as she glared at Starfire and yelled, "You WILL pay for this sister!"
She then flew through a door and made her escape, Starfire was about to go after her as she said, "She will NOT escape again!"
Before she could go, Robin grabbed her arm and urgently said, "Starfire, we have to get the others and get out of here!"
Starfire stared at the exit Blackfire flew out of in disappointment before turning to Robin and nodding in agreement. Meanwhile Cyborg, Beast Boy, and Raven were still in the hallway with the merged Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload as they looked around and heard explosions throughout the base.
Atlas glared at the three Titans as he said, "I don't know what is going on, but I know that none of you are making it out of here!"
They all prepared to fight when suddenly an explosion occurred and blew a hole in the ceiling that led straight out to space. The hallway decompressed and Raven quickly formed a wall of her dark magic in front of her, Cyborg, and Beast Boy. Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload began to be sucked out as Kardiak extended some of his tubes/tentacles out and tried grab the walls of the hallway. The suction was too strong and Atlas used his strength to grab the floor but he ended up ripping part of the floor out.
Because they could not grab anything, Atlas yelled, "NOOO!"
The three merged villains were all sucked out through the hole and into space while the heroes watched from behind Raven's wall of dark energy.
Beast Boy was shocked as he exclaimed, "Dude! What just happened?!"
Cyborg looked at him and spoke urgently as he exclaimed, "The base is coming apart!"
Beast Boy screamed in terror as he looked around and saw small explosions erupt from the walls around them.
Raven turned to Beast Boy and Cyborg as she urgently yelled, "Move! We have to go before we get sucked out too!"
Beast Boy and Cyborg quickly turned around and ran through the automatic doors into the command center. Raven floated backwards and joined them and dropped her wall of black magic just before the doors closed.
The three of them hurried over Robin and Starfire as Cyborg exclaimed, "Yo! What's going on around here?!"
Robin looked at them as he hastily replied, "I activated the base's thrusters to keep the cannon from destroying the city, but Blackfire damaged the power core and now this whole place is going to explode!"
Starfire looked at everyone as she urgently exclaimed, "We must escape!"
Beast Boy was very afraid as he said, "How?!"
Cyborg smiled confidently as he said, "Leave it to me."
He held up his right arm and looked at a screen in it and then pushed a button below it, activating a special feature. Shortly after he pushed the button, they all heard more explosions and then the T-Ship blasted through a wall of the base and flew at them by itself.
Beast Boy smiled as he happily exclaimed, "Awesome!"
Cyborg smiled proudly as he said, "That's MY ship!"
Raven showed a serious expression as she said, "Brag later, let's get out of here!"
They all immediately got in their pods and sealed it up before they flew the T-Ship out of the base, narrowly escaping as it exploded in orbit.
After they escaped Starfire stared out with a serious expression as she said, "We must capture Blackfire! We cannot allow her to escape again!"
Raven then pointed her finger as she yelled, "There!"
They all looked and saw Blackfire flying away, prompting Robin to say, "After her!"
They all showed serious expressions as they flew the T-Ship after her while she turned around and saw them coming. Suddenly Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload floated in front of her, still fused together as they prepared to fight the Titans in the T-Ship.
In his pod, Beast Boy showed an annoyed expression as he stared out and complained, "Aww, not these guys again!"
Atlas glared at all of them as he arrogantly bragged, "On Earth or in space, you have no chance against us!"
He retracted both his hands and activated both laser cannons as he rapidly fired blasts of Overload's energy at the T-Ship. One of them hit the T-Ship and damaged it a bit but the Titans managed to steer the ship and avoid the rest of the blasts.
Raven showed an annoyed expression in her pod as she said, "These guys are really starting to get on my nerves."
In his pod, Cyborg agreed as he glared at the trio of villains and said, "That makes two of us!"
While the three combined machines kept shooting at the T-Ship, Blackfire used this distraction to make her escape.
She flew off into space and looked over her shoulder as she hatefully said, "We'll meet again sister, and next time it will be a family affair!"
As she escaped Atlas stopped blasting at the T-Ship and then flew at it as he started punching it with his superstrength and shook it a bit. Four of Kardiak's tubes/tentacles extended out and lashed at the T-Ship, then ensnared it as they shocked the ship with Overload's energy.
Cyborg grunted in fury and then angrily exclaimed, "Alright that's it! Let's see what you three think of this!"
He pushed a button in his control yoke, causing the T-Ship to fire two powerful lasers at the three combined villains. The blast hit them all and knocked them away from the T-Ship, defeating them as they drifted through space out of control.
Beast Boy smiled happily as he exclaimed, "Sweet!"
Raven smiled as she said, "Nice shot."
Robin smiled victoriously as he said, "Great job everyone! We did it!"
Cyborg smiled triumphantly as he happily punched his fists out and cheered, "Booyah! Blackfire and her flunkies are no match for us and the T-Ship!"
He and Beast Boy continued to cheer for themselves while Robin congratulated everyone and Raven calmly praised the others. Starfire said nothing as she stared out into space, looking in the direction Blackfire had fled as she realized she was long gone. She shut her eyes and hung her head in disappointment as she knew full well that her sister would return again.
She opened her eyes and stared out into space and softly said to herself, "Farewell sister. Until we meet again."
Later in Jump City
The Titans had returned as they handed their enemies over to the police; they took Cinderblock away in a big truck. They also had managed to separate Atlas, Overload, and Kardiak from each other, returning the three of them to their normal selves. The police took them away as well while also thanking the Titans for their help, though the Titans did not tell them about Blackfire and her fusion cannon.
They watched the police take the four criminals away as Cyborg happily said, "We missed the eclipse, but saved the city and kicked butt!"
Raven smiled in agreement as she added, "Blackfire got away but we still beat Cinderblock, Atlas, Kardiak, Overload, and the Gordanians."
Beast Boy smiled as he happily said, "That's a good day in my book."
He and Cyborg happily high-fived each other as Cyborg happily said, "Oh yeah! That's what I'm talking about!"
Robin smiled proudly at everyone as he said, "Nice work team!"
Raven then pointed behind Robin and said, "Uh… Robin…"
He then turned his head and his smile vanished as he noticed Starfire staring up at the sky with something clearly on her mind.
Robin walked up next to her and asked, "You okay?"
Starfire kept staring at the sky as she said, "My sister is still out there."
Robin put his hand on her shoulder as he solemnly said, "And we'll find her Starfire. I promise. We'll find Blackfire and make sure she doesn't hurt anyone else."
Starfire looked at Robin with a troubled expression as she said, "But she will not stop until she has her revenge. She wishes to hurt all who are close to me. She will continue to try and harm me, you, and everyone else I care about."
Robin put his arm around Starfire as he smiled proudly and said, "We'll be ready for her. Blackfire may have allies from other worlds, but we have each other. We'll stand together and face whatever she throws our way. Nothing will come between us."
Starfire smiled at Robin lovingly as she kissed him on the cheek and leaned on his shoulder as they both looked up at the sky.

Author's note: This one of my best chapters of a Teen Titans fanfiction. This would make a great episode, and it's a great way to show the Titans getting better while facing new challenges. I made some references to Star Wars. I also thought this would be a great way to share some of my theories about certain characters. For example, I think that Cinderblock might not need to breathe so he can survive underwater or in the vacuum of space, and the moon seemed to be the only way he could fight in space. I also included Atlas, Kardiak, and Overload as a way to express my theories on their origins, I think they might be alien in origin. I think at the very least one or two of them might have been created by aliens. Kardiak might be a weapon created by aliens that somehow crashed on Earth or something. Also, a theory about Atlas is that he was created by aliens to fight for entertainment as a gladiator or something. In any event, these three can definitely survive in space so I thought they'd be perfect for this chapter. We will see Blackfire again in the two part season finale. Please review.
