"...He's late…"

Shortly after coming back to his house (or rather, his Master's house), Kunwei the Hypno was a bit surprised that his Master hadn't come back yet. Granted, it was possible he was caught up in something, but Kunwei's restaurant shift ended at 7pm, well after Fang had typically arrived home.

The Hypno took in the setting. Tao the Garchomp and Huojin the (Gimp) Typhlosion were still talking, but even they seemed kinda antsy about Master Yahzu not arriving home yet.

"I'll say. It's 8pm now." Tao sighed, checking the time on his smartphone. "Master's ran late before but…"

"I know. He'd always at least give us a heads-up. I'm kinda worried." Kunwei sighed, arms folded and shaking his head.

"Maybe you should check the school?" Tao suggested. "You can get there faster than any of us with your teleportation, and someone there can probably direct you to him. I can't imagine him being anywhere else."

"Probably the best course of action to take." Kunwei agreed.

Huojin finally spoke up. "I'm… also worried about Master… Very worried."

The two veteran slaves looked at him. He had an almost child-like demeanor, as if he was a little kid worried about his daddy and if he'd make it home tonight.

"I think we all feel that way." Tao nodded, before Kunwei gave the Typhlosion a brief hug.

"Don't worry. It's probably not that bad. But even if it was, I'd search to the ends of the earth for him. You have my word." Kunwei promised, giving Huojin a smile and Tao an affirmative nod before he teleported away, adamant about finding out what's going on with Master…

Meanwhile…

"...Urgh… A-Answer me! Why am I blindfolded?! Where are you taking me?! Who's doing this?!"

"You ask too many questions. Shoulda gagged ya."

Fang Yahzu the Drampa was in a precarious situation. Having been blindfolded and hogtied not long after he had entered his car, he was starting to awaken from the chloroform used to render him unconscious.

Questions swarmed Fang's mind. Who would do this? And why? Was this a kidnapping for a ransom? Or some other less savory reason?

He'd get his answers soon enough as he was thrown onto the floor, although at least it was into some kind of soft mat. The mystery kidnapper took off the blindfold, as Fang was a non-threat in his current state.

…Fang saw a Pokemon. One he hadn't seen before. A tall and lithe blue lizard, wearing a slimming camouflage suit. Many years in Alola and he never saw this kind of Pokemon before…

Finally, he had a clearer question to ask the mystery Pokemon.

"...Who are you and why are you kidnapping me?"

"Well, there's a more concise question.~"

The lithe blue lizard looked over the Dragon-type. "I am an Inteleon, a species from Galar. But my name? Well, I wouldn't be a very good espionage agent if I told you that. To be frank, this is a small-time job for me. I don't really care what happens to you next, it's just the deal with my employer."

"...So you were hired to kidnap me." Fang concluded. "That's clear now. But then… who's your employer?"

"Oh, right in this abandoned apartment conveniently located on the edge of town. Just need to tell him you're here."

"That won't be necessary."

Fang's eyes widened. He recognized that voice! "No… There's no way…"

Out from the other room flew a face that Fang never thought he'd see like this. One with an outright evil smirk on his face.

…Phineas Pitch the Mothim.

Kunwei arrived at the school shortly after his teleportation there, noticing that it was starting to get dark. Knowing the school would be closing for the night soon, he decided to hit the front desk first.

"Hi." he greeted the Rhyperior at the front desk. "I apologize for coming so late, but Ma… Mister Yahzu hasn't returned home yet. Do you know if he went somewhere or if something happened?"

"Oh! That's right!" she recalled. "You're Kunwei, his… butler? Dunno how he affords one…"

"Yes, that is correct." Kunwei answered, adding in the back of his mind "Well, as far as anyone needs to know."

"Anyway, yeah. If he was heading to your home, I'm surprised he hasn't arrived yet. He left hours ago."

"Hours? Do you recall when that was?"

"At his usual time, most of the elementary school teachers leave at 3:30 or so."

"Did you notice anything… peculiar when he left?" the Hypno asked, still trying to collect all the information he can.

"Not that I could tell you. I've been sitting from before and after he left. Is… something wrong?"

She sounded genuinely concerned. Kunwei was looking for the right words to say to the Rhyperior.

"Honestly… I don't know. That's why I'm asking around. I'm just… concerned that something might have happened. Is there anybody else who might know anything?"

"Well… we do have today's officer still on shift at the front of the school. She's still on shift, but if you want to talk to her, I'd hurry because her shift ends pretty soon. She's a big Gengar, can't miss her. I'm about to head home myself."

Kunwei nodded. "I'll ask her." he answers, heading out of the school.

—-

"This is INSANITY! How on earth… how in the hell… what in the ABSOLUTE FUCK…?!"

The Mothim laughed. "It's not like you have a filthy mouth, Yahzu.~"

"Yeah, well, forgive me if that's my reaction to this situation." Fang snarked, rolling his eyes.

"But no need to worry. Everything will work out in the end… IF you cooperate."

"And tell me… Why should I cooperate with the 'Mon that just kidnapped me?"

"Do I need to answer such an obvious question? Just look at yourself, you filthy pervert. I'd have expected you'd be enjoying this.~"

Fang merely sighed. "What do you want, Pitch? What made you hate me so much that you hired a professional kidnapper?"

"Why do I hate you? Hasn't that been obvious, Yahzu? Because your sick interests are a threat to the children you work with!"

"How… DARE YOU?!" Fang snapped, struggling harder in his binds, furious at the implications Pitch was casting on him. "I might be a kinky bastard, but to even DARE to suggest that I would be a danger to children?! To my own students?!"

"Because you are." Pitch replied, as if it was an absolute fact.

The answer only made Fang ANGRIER, thrashing harder and harder and harder in his captive binds… until after what felt like an eternity, he wore himself out.

"...You never answered my first question." the Dragon-type stated. "So I'll say it again. What do you want with me?"

"What I want is simple. I want you to make a recorded confession that you're a sick and disgusting pervert who's a threat to children, which I will then take to the school board. I even have a paper you'll read from. And as I said, if you cooperate, no harm will come to you, and you will be freed after your confession."

Fang was… silent. Terrified and petrified. If he did as Pitch wanted, his reputation would be absolutely devastated. He'd not only be fired and likely never around children again, but his name in the art world would be tainted as well. He might even lose custody of the slaves that he dearly loved.

"And… if I refuse to confess such a ridiculous lie?"

"Then I suppose I'll just have to keep you here until you do. Or until you starve. Whichever comes first."

Fang… couldn't summon any words to reply with.

"Give it some thought. I need to discuss payment with my associate. I'll ask for your answer again in an hour or so.~" Pitch chuckled, flying into the nearby room with the Inteleon, closing the door behind him.

Leaving Fang alone, bound on the floor.

"Hmm… I'm not sure if I recall anyone suspicious on the grounds this afternoon."

Kunwei stood in front of the Gengar that the Rhyperior had directed him to. The Hypno was desperate for a lead.

"Nothing out of the ordinary? Nothing at all?" Kunwei emphasized. "I just have a gut feeling that something's not right here."

"I can definitely file a missing Pokemon's report. Given that Fang is a well-liked teacher here, I'm not sure who would have a motive if someone, say… kidnapped him. I don't think that's likely, but I can't rule out such a possibility."

Gears were turning in Kunwei's head. Was there anybody… anybody at all… that would have had reason to make Fang disappear? Was it possible for someone to hate him enough to pull that off? He knew it was completely out of character for Fang to leave them in the dark. But it was getting late.

"Thanks, officer. I would like you to file a mission Pokemon's report. Maybe I can sleep on this tonight."

The Gengar nodded, the ghost slipping back into the shadows before she disappeared from Kunwei's sight.

The Hypno whispered to himself. "Guess I won't be getting answers tonight. Wherever you are Master, I hope you're OK."

With that, he teleported out of the school's parking lot, instantly arriving back home, just outside. Almost immediately, Tao was quick to ask questions about what Kunwei had learned, but the Hypno didn't have a lot of answers.

Kunwei sighed. "Before you ask… I have to admit, there's not much to say. The staff noted that everything seemed normal when Master Yahzu left. Nobody saw anything suspicious, but I did file a missing Pokemon's report. Ultimately, we have nothing regarding a lead."

Tao growled. "I swear, if someone hurt him, I'll tear their arms out! Then their legs! Then… well, then everything else!"

Huojin simply sighed softly to himself, fingering some of the flowers growing just outside Yahzu's house. "Master…"

Kunwei and Tao both looked at Huojin like you might as a kid who doesn't know why their parent's gone missing. It certainly wasn't a happy sight.

Tao clenched his claws together, looking back at Kunwei. "We have to find him. For everyone's sake."

"I know." Kunwei nodded. "But… hmm… I did talk with a Gengar officer. She didn't see anything out-of-the-ordinary either, but she did speculate if someone may have had a motive to… maybe… kidnap him."

Tao clenched his claws. "I can think of one 'Mon."

Kunwei nodded. "And so can I. Pitch."

He looked over to the other two. "Let's get to the police station and see if we can get them to update that missing Pokemon's report. Pitch isn't going to have much more time to hide."

—-

"You know, I've had time to think about it, and there seems to be a massive hole in your big fancy evil plan, Pitch."

The Mothim fluttered over to the Drampa after talking with the Inteleon, a steely gaze leaving his eyes. "It's almost cute. You think I'm the evil one."

Ignoring the comment, Fang Yahzu laid it all out to Phineas Pitch.

"Just… let me get all of this straight. You kidnapped me while I was driving home. When my housemates were expecting me to return. And a quick testimony from them would reveal that you have an extreme hatred of me. Giving you a motive but no alibi to cover yourself with since you're here… even if you get me to 'confess' all of this crap, there's no way you're getting away with this scot-free."

Pitch merely replied with a dark chuckle… one that deeply unsettled the Drampa.

"I... I don't like the sound of that laughter…"

"Of course you don't. Frankly, I should let you know that I don't really give a damn about what happens to me. Even if I get thrown in jail, hell even if I get executed… it's better than letting you stay near kids for even one more day. In fact, why don't we speed things along…"

Fang's eyes nearly popped out of his head when he saw what Pitch pulled out of his pocket.

A knife. Walking forward and kneeling down (as much as a Mothim can kneel), he placed the knife against the Drampa's throat.

"You have two choices, Fang. Talk for me… or die."

Fang's heart absolutely sank. He knew he didn't have any other option now if he wanted to live. Summoning up all of his strength, he uttered one word.

"Fine."

Pitch smiled, almost innocently so as if he wasn't threatening Fang with his life. He took the knife away from Fang's throat. "I'm glad you see it my way. And don't worry. Once I get this uploaded onto my hard drive, I'll drop you off back at your house. You have my word.~"

"Your 'word' fills me with absolute terror right now…" Fang whispered to himself.

—-

"So… Phineas Pitch does have a motive… "

"Given his hatred towards Fang, we have every reason to believe that he's in danger as we speak."

Having arrived at the police station, Kunwei and Tao are updating the police with the necessary information. The two had brought solid evidence of Pitch's hatred towards Fang with more than a few nasty notes and letters the Mothim left for the Drampa before he was kidnapped.

A Chesnaught, Henry, looked towards the Hypno and Garchomp, looking over what they had brought. "OK, we'll start with an investigation of Pitch's house. We can easily secure a warrant with this evidence and the circumstances surrounding this."

Tao thought a bit. "Well… when you say 'immediately'... do you mean a few minutes or a few hours?"

Henry thought a bit. "Normally, it would take a few hours. But I'm extremely confident that it'll go through quickly."

Kunwei sighed. "I don't think we're going to have that much time. I can't put my finger on it, but it's just… I just KNOW we have to find him immediately."

"Hmm…" the Chesnaught pondered, looking around to make sure nobody was around. "Well… this is a bit against protocol, but I can get you guys to Pitch's house after I file for the warrant. That'll only take me a few minutes. And I could… look the other way this once."

Tao's eyes widened. "Seriously? You'd do that for us?"

The Chesnaught cop started jotting down information for the warrant, grabbing and filing the notes that Kunwei and Tao had brought. "Well… yeah. Honestly, I'm worried too. He was one of my teachers a long time ago. Good 'Mon. So I'm not waiting for the warrant this once."

After filing the warrant and getting it submitted, he gives Kunwei Pitch's address and a photo of the house.

"208 Blue Meadow Drive."

With that, Kunwei instantly teleported the trio out of the station, and straight to Phineas Pitch's house. The trio was hot on his trail.

Thankfully, teleportation was pretty instant as the three arrived at 208 Blue Meadow Drive in less than a few seconds. Tao did ponder on the name as they arrived.

"Who ever heard of a blue meadow? Did they dye it with paint, or is it just a bunch of bluebonnets or something or…?"

Kunwei looked at Tao. "This… isn't really the time, Tao."

Tao blushed awkwardly. "Y-You're right, yeah…"

Henry walked up to the front door, knocking it. "Mr. Pitch, Alola Police Department. Please open up."

Kunwei and Tao watched as the Chesnaught waited about 10 seconds before trying again, knocking harder.

"Mr. Phineas Pitch, open the door! We have a warrant for a house search!" Henry projected his voice louder.

Nothing. Another knock, after Henry tried turning the handle.

"Final warning, Mr. Pitch! Open up or I'll have to come in myself!"

Once again, silence even after another 10 seconds had passed. Knowing that the door was not going to be opened for him, the burly Chesnaught started to ram the door with his shoulders… breaking it off of his hinges and bursting in on the second try. Tao showed some concern as the Chesnaught stood up after falling on the floor.

"Henry! You OK?"

Henry stood up, dusting himself off. "Don't sweat it, that's probably the tamest fall I've ever taken busting down a door."

Kunwei walked in after the other two. "I hesitate to ask why you consider that tame…"

Henry didn't have much to say on Kunwei's comment, taking a look around the house. "Doesn't seem like he's here…" the cop spoke. "Not much out of the ordinary, either."

"I don't think even Pitch is insane enough to just leave evil plans laying on the coffee table." Tao commented. "If we're gonna find anything, it'll probably be in his room."

The trio carefully decide to enter the master bedroom, Henry leading the way. There wasn't anything too bizarre at first glance. It was just a few sheets of paper and a journal of sorts, but…

"Greencorp?" Henry looked at the paper, analyzing it with the Hypno and Garchomp looking over his shoulder.

"It's… an information document on Fang…" Kunwei realized. "His biography, his career…"

Kunwei took the sheets with the Chesnaught's permission, flipping through them. "This… everything's in here, Tao. Even us."

"So… that's how Pitch found out." Tao sighed. "Does he really think Fang is a threat to others based on this, or maybe he just used this to confirm his own biases…?"

"Probably some mix of both." Henry said, taking the documents back. "Greencorp is basically an information broker. They keep a lot of secret eyes out, and through the right channels, you can dig up dirt on plenty of people."

Kunwei and Tao gasped. "Blackmail…" they realized.

"That happened a while back with William, too. Same company, right?" Tao folded his arms.

"Yeah…" Kunwei sighed. "But we can worry about this company later. Right now, we need to find Fang. I have no doubt that Pitch is trying to extract some kind of blackmail confession from him."

"First William, then Fang… Greencorp really gives all the dirt for the right price, huh?" Tao sighed.

"We can look into all of this later. Our biggest concern is finding Fang." Kunwei informed.

"What do you propose? The city's quite large, and we have no idea where Fang and Pitch might be. And that's if he didn't toss Fang onto a dirt road somewhere." Henry said.

Kunwei and Tao gave Henry a fierce glance for the comment.

"...Sorry." the Chesnaught admitted.

Kunwei paced back and forth a bit. And then something hit him. If they did take Fang, it was possible that the car went with him…

"Tao. You can still fly with your wings, right?"

Tao flapped them as best as he could. "A little rusty on that, but yeah."

Kunwei was quick and precise in his words. "Good. Tao, you and I are going to take to the skies. We will hunt down Fang through his car."

"Hold on." Henry stopped the two. "It's a good idea, but there's a bunch of similar cars in Alola. You have to comb through a bunch of blue, red, white, black…"

"Henry, how many people in Alola have purple cars?" Kunwei let out a bit of a smirk.

"...Fair point."

"Anyway, Tao and I take to the skies, hunt down his car, and teleport down there with my own abilities. Once I see the location, I can visualize it for teleportation." Kunwei concluded.

"And… where do I enter the picture?" Henry raised an eyebrow.

Kunwei flustered. "I uhh, didn't think of that."

Tao shrugged. "You OK if we just text you the location once we find it?"

Henry nodded. "Yeah, that'll work. Once I get that message, I'll have a team prepared to dispatch."

Kunwei looked at Tao with a confident smirk on his face. "You ready, Tao? We have some heroics to do."

Fang was an all-time low. Bound tightly to a chair, head down and defeated as Pitch set up a camera.

"Oh Fang, I thought you liked this kind of thing. Honestly, I'm surprised you don't have a raging boner going." the Mothim laughed. The Inteleon had already left, having collected his paycheck.

What else could Fang say? Forced to "confess" a bald-faced lie at knifepoint, it was so difficult to believe that Pitch could harbor so much hatred for the Drampa. Left to carry a permanently altered reputation, he was sick to the stomach at the very idea of saying the words the hidden cue cards urged him to.

"Hmm hmm… Lights… Camera… Action.~"

The camera, just having started recording, only captures Fang's head up. Even though a video had yet to be uploaded, he felt the entire world's gaze on him. He looked at the cue cards, and sighed.

"I… I am Fang Yahzu. I am an art teacher at Melemele Elementary…"

Fang stutters, looking at Pitch who made a slicing motion over his throat.

"I am an art teacher at Melemele Elementary… and I… I am… I am a…"

Fang's heart pounded hard. Harder and harder. His breathing quickened, seeing the next words on the cue cards.

*I am a disgusting, dangerous pervert to children everywhere.*

He read them. He read them again. He… couldn't do it. He couldn't say them.

…He WOULD not say them. Fang looks down away from the camera, clenching his fists.

Pitch rolled his eyes, making the slicing motion with his hands again.

No response.

Pitch pointed towards the cue cards.

No response.

Sighing, Pitch dropped the cue cards, and grabbed the knife. But as he approached Fang…

Dark purple flames started to emerge from Fang, only subtly slowly at first, before he BURST out with a near feral growl. His eyes showed nothing but dark hatred and absolute rage. The purple flames surrounding him burnt up the rope that had him tied down, the dark flames nearly jumping up to the ceiling of the warehouse!

"WHAT?! What in the living fu-"

Fang didn't even let Pitch finish that sentence, the utterly OUTRAGED Drampa tackling the Mothim and taking him down to the ground, hands around his neck. He squeezed without mercy.

"Fang… Fang, I'm sorry… I… I can't… b-breathe…" Pitch choked, starting to suffocate.

Fang was only brought out of his total hatred and rage by the sound of the door opening and two familiar voices calling to him.

"MASTER?!"

Fang's eyes immediately widened, letting go of Pitch and looking to the source of the voices. "W-What? Kunwei…? Tao…?"

Pitch was gasping for air, finally free from the suffocating grip. He wasn't dead, but he was out of action as he struggled for every breath right now.

Kunwei and Tao had utter shock on their faces. They… weren't quite sure how to process it.

Tao spoke. "I… didn't know you were that capable, Master…"

Fang sighed, still trying to process it himself. "Just… call the police… and an ambulance."

—-

"Well, I can't say this was a routine experience." Henry commented, watching Pitch be taken to the hospital… after which, he would absolutely be detained.

Fang rubbed his temples with his hands in exhaustion. "I've been through a lot in my life, but this honestly might take the crown."

Tao couldn't help but worry a bit, looking at Henry. "Would… Fang be in trouble?"

Henry shook his head. "He won't be. We'll definitely have to take some statements from him, but with the insane circumstances, self-defense is more-or-less a given."

Kunwei smiled softly, looking towards Fang. "That's great! That means we can go home and…"

"...I never had power like that before." Fang muttered to himself, looking at his hands in apprehension. "How is that even possible?"

Kunwei and Tao looked to their Master affectionately, the two submissives giving their Master a warm hug. Fang was caught by surprise… only to melt down in tears as he hugged them. Not just his submissives. His family.

"It's been a long day." Fang whispered, hugging them tightly. "Let's go home."

This was far, far too long in the making. Three years, actually!

…I'm probably not going to do cliffhangers for a while, ha ha.
