A very short chapter but will follow with a second chapter somewhere in the next seven days or two weeks from now. That I can promise.

Chapter 1 - Step One to Liberation.

..
..

Cham Syndulla heard his Blurrg give a huff. The stocky, two-legged beast of burden seemed to whine under the scorching sun above. Syndulla sympathized once he wiped the sweat from his brow. The only thing he could do was give his faithful mount a few short pats along the beast's side. It took appreciation to that and continued its pace forward.

The sun was overhead, and the day was just beginning.

At Syndulla's back were a mass of Twi'leks, young and old, men and women and children all together in one big group. Together they moved under the scorching sun looking for a place of refuge.

The Twi'lek people Cham was traveling with were folks that once lived in the city of Resdin – a Twi'lek city on Ryloth. The crowd still traveled within the Twilight Realm – an area that allowed Ryloth to experience day and night despite the planet being under tidal lock which was where one side of the planet constantly faced its sun and the other side in permanent darkness.

The mass of Twi'lek were tired. Syndulla was tired. It had been eight hours since the fall of Resdin and later the fall of Lessu. Resdin had been the first to be attacked. Cham, and with the help of his friends gathered what was left of the refugees and traveled through the Jixuan desert.

The Jixuan desert was in the southern part of Ryloth, an area covered in open plains but filled with rock formations like mesas and plateaus. And along with the area were several small villages as well as another Twi'lek city called Nabat.

Cham would have liked to have taken the refugees to Lessu but that proved impossible.

After the attack on Resdin, it was revealed to have been a show of force, one that succeeded in frightening the Twi'lek Clan Council – leaders comprised of five Twi'lek clans that were responsible for community decisions on Ryloth. With Resdin's fall, the Twi'lek Clan Council surrendered along with the main capital city without so much as fighting back.

At that, Cham gripped the leather reins of his Blurrg tightly. Anger boiled in his chest when he thought that.

The ones responsible, the Confederacy of Independent Systems, destroyed one of their cities and murdered hundreds of Twi'lek lives and the leaders of Cham's homeworld just surrendered without even putting up a fight. Cowards! Cham thought with a sneer. How could they not try? How could they simply accept the fact that their people were murdered in cold blood.

But that anger in his chest quickly withered, the foul look that plagued his face softened quickly when he heard the loud cries of children from behind. The orange skinned Twi'lek male looked back and saw the faces of his people. They were tired. They were defeated. Their different colored skin ranging from blue, green and orange were all smudged by dirt and dried blood. It broke the Twi'lek man's heart seeing his people in such a state.

Grrawh.

With a short whip of the reins Cham hurried his Blurrg forward.

Riding atop of a Blurrg sat a human man draped in a blue-grey mantle with the hood down. And what the man wore was a suit of armor. Its metallic surface was black with crimson outlines. Some parts of the armor covering the chest and any large area were covered in a solid armor plate with small plates of armor layered on top of each seen at the shoulders and waist. The armor looked heavy, but the man's Blurrg did not seem bothered.

When Cham reached the man's side, the human wore a black mask that covered the lower portion of his face. The design was quite strange to the Twi'lek man. The other warriors wore similar armor and wore masks too but the masks they wore were helmeted and obscured their faces. The masks were even shaped like animals, one of them even looked like a Reek from the horns that decorated it.

For the leader – something Syndulla surmised earlier back in Resdin – wore a mask that only covered his lower face. And strangely it was shaped like the lower portion of a mouth. The mask covered up to the bridge of the blonde man's nose and down to the chin. What decorated the mask were small, sharp looking fangs that rowed together and made up a closed predatory maw.

He swayed faintly under the Blurrg's movements. But he looked at Syndulla to his side.

"Is something wrong?"

Though it was a mask, it certainly was not ordinary. There was a built-in volcoder that modulated the man's voice to sound deeper and obscure the true sound of his voice.

Cham only shook his head, use to the sound.

Though they were outsiders and though they were treated with suspicion from the beginning, Cham understood that these warriors were heroes for coming to his people's aid.

Cham thought of them as Jedi like in the stories. When Cham was helping his people in Resdin, trying to save as many and evacuate as many, they appeared during the chaos once the Separatists unleashed their droids on Twi'lek civilians. These masked warriors stood their ground against their numbers and revealed in their hands' laser swords, the same laser swords Jedi were known to have. And like a tempest the warriors moved through them in a flurry of strikes that slashed through those scrawny looking droids and left nothing behind. They showed otherworldly powers that he knew was The Force.

"I..." Cham started, realizing that there was something he had not done after Resdin's fall. "I wanted to give my thanks, for saving my people." Cham expressed his gratitude; he was not ashamed of it. When the lives of his people were on the line, his pride would come second if it meant the security and safety of his people was first.

"If it hadn't been for your help Jedi, I doubt I could have rescued this many people" Cham admitted, looking back to his people.

A lone yellow brow was raised when he heard the word 'Jedi.'

"We are glad to have helped your people however we could, Mr. Syndulla. But please don't call my people Jedi, we aren't."

Cham looked back and was surprised. "Oh, but I thought with the weapons you have and what your people did back in Resdin, I assumed that you were" Cham explained trying to understand how this man could not be a Jedi.

A short rustling beneath the armored warrior's mantle and gently extending out his hand where it held the cylindrical shaped device, the blonde male elaborated. "There's more than just one group out there in the galaxy that uses these, no one has to be Jedi to learn the ways of the Force." So said the masked man.

Cham's brow furrowed a bit, having never known that there could be more than one group out there that operated like the Jedi.

"Then who are you?" Cham asked.

Pale blue eyes almost seemed to brighten, and the masked man spoke.

"My name is Naruto, and we are the Jensaarai."

This short chapter is to get your attention and I hope you like it because I will make the next chapter longer.

I could not help myself in adding another Naruto/Star Wars Crossover. There are so many different Force-based organizations out there in the universe and I just want to see them all lived out however I can right them. But I made sure that this will be the final Naruto/Star Wars story and will focus on my other ones very soon. And I looked over the Jensaarai and I gotta give my two cents on this.

Despite the Jensaarai mixing the teachings of both the Jedi and the Sith, from what I have been able to read about the Jensaarai is that they seem to be the galaxy's punching bag. The Jensaarai have been murdered and manipulated where they have faced the Jedi on numerous occasions and ended up getting killed without any other reason. They have the worse track record from what I have managed to gather up and despite how interesting they seem – they just don't stack up to anything other than the so-called mix of Jedi and Sith philosophies. The Jensaarai were active before the Clone Wars, lived through the Clone Wars, through the Imperial Era and after. They are punching bags that have been bullied by various groups and I think it's time for a little reformation in their ranks.

If anyone wants to see the story flourish, please leave a review or you can PM me. I may or will respond when I can. I would also like some input on what I can do to make the story a little better. And I swear this will be my last Naruto/Star Wars related story. NO FLAMES!
