Here I present myself with a new translated chapter!

In the end I decided to take my vacation in a quiet way. Now I'm back and I plan to continue with a relatively stable rhythm for the following chapters.

Having clarified this point, it's time to answer some reviews:

Wolfman9623: Okay, I'll try to use that word as little as possible to avoid confusion.

MAX0910: To be honest, the scene between Issei and Penemue's kiss was one of the ones I enjoyed writing the most, so I'm really glad you liked it. And Ophis...yeah, she can be a bit too "weird".

Cobin Michael: I hope everyone is happy about what the future holds for Rias, because when Issei returns to Kuoh things between them will start to get complicated very quickly.

Now let's get started with the chapter.

Enjoy!

"I called you here to talk about some recent events." The Demon King stated to his younger sister, his gaze was focused on some papers lying on the desk. "Apparently, there was a recent attack in Kyoto with which the Yokai princess and queen were kidnapped. We don't know much more details, only that a large portion of your slaves had some trouble with the local individuals due to being mistaken for the enemy." The man would conclude, then fix his gaze on Rias. "Don't worry, we already discussed solutions with Azazel. I can assure you that your retinue will not come to any harm, or so they planned. I was warned that Issei will have intensive training as he has the intentions to take on the enemies, but that won't cause your nightly outings to be interrupted as he will be back on most nights." After saying those last words, his chin rested on his hand.

"Speaking of him, how is the plan coming along?"

The redhead could do nothing but get very nervous after the question.

"Well, the truth is..." Rias looked rather uncomfortable, causing her brother's face to darken in a sinister way.

That was something that undoubtedly scared her, and a lot.

"The plan is working out perfectly!" She lied, and that lie seemed to work, as her brother smiled at her.

"I'm glad everything is turning out well. I'll relay the results of the battle to you when the time comes." Sirzechs stated with a smile, then rose from his seat. "I'll go take a short break, you can go now." He would conclude, leaving the room.

At that moment, Rías collapsed on the desk.

She clutched her head with both hands in great frustration.

In her mind, the death stare her brother gave her still lingered, as did that murderous expression she had received from Tiamat a few days ago.

At that moment, the redhead could only think of one thing.

"Now what am I going to do?"

CHAPTER 56: STICKY ELECTRICITY.

The sound of the glass of beer echoed throughout the bar as it landed on the bar, being completely empty.

"The beer in this place never disappoints." Azazel stated with a satisfied smile on his face as he placed both of his feet on the bar.

"Don't you think we should be doing something more productive instead of getting drunk?" Rossweisse gave him a mean look as she watched him from a few stools away.

"Come on, don't be a killjoy!" Azazel grabbed the jug next to him to fill his drink. "That's why no man wants you!"

"That has no bearing whatsoever on what you just mentioned!" Rossweisse whined like a child as tears threatened to roll down her cheeks.

"You started it." Azazel sneered. When his lips parted from his drink, his eyes changed to a mysterious hue. "Besides, we're not just here to drink. We're here to negotiate." Rossweisse's eyes widened slightly at those words.

"That's why there's no one..." She said aloud to herself, noticing that they were completely alone.

What broke the silence this time was the door opening with great force, revealing two silhouettes that gave off a very peculiar aura.

Azazel's cup hit the bar once again.

"They're here..." He said, glancing sideways at the newcomers.

"It's them..." Rossweisse thought, watching as the two figures sat down next to Azazel.

Her gaze drifted to the ceiling of the bar, and her mind began to work with some trepidation.

"It's been several days since they left and I haven't had a chance to talk to them..."

Her gaze parked on her empty glass.

"I hope Penemue isn't overdoing it too much with the training..."

If the Valkyrie knew how Issei was doing right now, Penemue would probably have to swallow a lecture that would last an hour.

Issei was standing on the side of one of the snowy mountains, his gaze focused on a Penemue standing on the other end of what appeared to be an ice bridge.

What was most distinguishable about his figure was that he was wearing numerous bandages on different parts of his body, which, by the way, he was barely wearing worn pants, as his shirt was missing, and most likely due to the fact that he had no more spares.

"They finished the 30-minute break." Cadre clarified, tossing her black scarf away. "We'll start with the next confrontation." Issei just nodded.

"I think I'm getting used to this fast pace." Issei stated with a smile without taking his eyes off the woman.

"Five seconds." Was all that was said by the woman, who held her katana that was still in its sheath.

"Four."

Issei stood completely still as he watched her without blinking.

"Three."

"Two."

The moment the number fell on Issei's ears, Penemue's figure appeared right in front with her sharp katana pointed straight at his chest.

The ice cracked slightly, those same cracks were soon stained with a few drops of blood.

At that precise moment, Issei's arm continued to move by the inertia of the movement of the katana that was covered in lightning. His figure shifted a little more to the side. Drops of blood continued to fall from his hand that had captured the edge of the katana, not even the armor had been strong enough to neutralize the attack.

Issei's eyes narrowed as he came face to face with Penemue, who did not take long to return the gaze.

Penemue did not even take a second to respond when her body swung on her katana to try to give him a strong blow in the ribs that her student dodged with a deft leap. The Cadre tried to attack him again with her feet, being dodged once again by Issei with a somersault when he dropped the katana. Issei was quick to mount a counterattack, delivering a strong upward kick that sent her flying away.

The Cadre recomposed herself in mid-air with a masterful maneuver, landing on her feet on the ground.

Penemue raised her face, noticing a small bleeding cut on her cheek.

"I didn't think you could respond so well to a surprise attack." She said with a smile as she used her hand to wipe away the blood.

"You said to take this training as real combat, so I can't let my guard down at any time." Was the simple reply from Issei, who answered her with a challenging smile. "Besides, I'm starting to see your moves much more clearly now." He concluded, puffing out his chest with pride.

It was kind of funny, since the first day he couldn't even see her, so he always received beatings that would rock him for the rest of his life.

"Yes, I see you've improved a lot in that respect. You're even much faster." She said with complete sincerity. "That said..." Her eyes widened again, denoting a somewhat gloomy look.

"I guess I should be a little more serious from now on..."

"You know what..." Issei's helmet dematerialized, revealing a very composed look. "That's perfect." He concluded, only to have a strong swirl of crimson aura completely surround him afterwards.

"Explosion!"

His dragon wings expanded behind his back, heading against Penemue with a great burst of speed.

The Cadre spun on herself to dodge the kick that was aimed at her face, then took a small jump backwards to get out of the attack radius. The woman launched herself as fast as possible on top of him with quick, short punches that Issei was able to dodge thanks to the great speed he had acquired these days. The young man tried to counter the barrage of blows with a kick, failing miserably, and that same failure would cost him a strong kick under his chin that destabilized him a little, although he was able to resume his position instantly when he gave a small jump backwards. Issei lunged at her, interspersed with various kicks and punches that Cadre blocked with the great speed of her arms, which at this point were quite blurry. The woman tried to destabilize him again with a kick when she found a small counterattacking edge, but Issei responded differently this time, using the same Cadre's leg as momentum to roll on top of her until he ended up behind her back. Issei attacked instantly thinking he had a chance, but Penemue turned around from one second to the next, blocking the blow with her arms and catching her student's hand in the process. That move caused Penemue to duck, concentrating all her strength to then kick him hard in the chest that generated a shockwave that sent him flying.

Issei managed to recompose himself in midair, doing a small somersault. His feet dragged on the ground, so he was forced to do one more somersault to lessen the great inertia that the previous blow had caused him.

"This ice fighting thing is pretty annoying." Issei thought, only to widen his eyes shortly after as he noticed that he already had Penemue on top of him again.

Issei crossed his arms in X to cover himself from the strong punch. Although the block had been a complete success, Penemue didn't give up and delivered another even stronger punch, breaking through his defense as a short tremor came across the entire battlefield. Issei's eyes widened as he felt the edge of the katana graze the armor in the sector of his neck, having dodged the attack by a miracle.

Knowing he couldn't beat her in a close range battle, he spread his wings and flew overhead as a red colored sphere was created in his hand.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

Penemue held tightly to her katana as she bent her knees, causing the blade of her weapon to spark with an immense amount of electricity.

The large crimson attack hit the woman full on, causing a large amount of smoke and dust to billow everywhere.

Issei's eyes widened as a great wave of lightning shot out from the curtain of dust. He only had time to cross his arms in X, receiving the attack squarely, causing the sound of a large explosion to shake everything as a large amount of violet lightning flew everywhere.

The silence would last no more than a second, as Penemue's figure emerged through the dust in a quick sideways movement, and her student did the same from his position.

Issei's eyes widened in shock as another wave of lightning was inches away from striking him. Issei dropped, dodging the attack by the skin of his teeth. His face turned quickly, noticing how Penemue was behind him preparing another magical attack. The second lightning wave grazed the armor's chest, dodging it by the skin of his teeth. His figure would finally touch the ground. His knees touched the icy ice, his piercing gaze would soon rise, and his eyes reflected a great wave of lightning heading in his direction. Issei materialized his katana in one swift motion, managing to get the attack past both sides of his figure because the lightning wave had split in two when he interposed the blade of his weapon against the magical attack.

Issei finally pulled himself together, glancing back out of the corner of his eye as he heard someone land on his back.

Issei slowly turned around while still holding his katana, noticing how the Cadre held a piercing gaze while her weapon kept emitting deafening sounds because of the violet energy that was decorating the blade of it.

They both stood still for a couple of seconds. If seen from the outside, it could be said that they were having a staring match, and the one who blinked first lost.

The small air that passed between the two accompanied the sound of their hands as they gripped the katanas with all their might.

The brows of the two furrowed, lunging in a quick burst of speed at each other.

A deep metallic sound echoed throughout as the katanas clashed, causing a crater to appear beneath the combatants' feet. Penemue quickly moved to the side in an attempt to cut him off, but Issei was quicker as he crossed his weapon with hers, causing a large amount of sparks to shoot everywhere. Issei took a small leap backwards to dodge a lunge, only to take another leap to the side when Penemue wanted to cut him in two. Issei ntried to take advantage of the moment when Penemue's back was turned to attack her, but the Cadre recomposed herself in an instant, causing the edge of their weapons to clash again with great forcefulness. Both gritted their teeth slightly as the very vibration of the blow caused their arms to snap back. The Cadre would grab her katana with both hands in an attempt to penetrate his defense, but the result was the same when Issei's katana got in the way. Still, the attack had been so powerful that it sent him into the air, even though this was what he was after.

A large number of magic circles surrounded Issei's figure, where numerous energy spheres shot out against the Cadre.

Penemue's eyes closed as she let out a great sigh. Her eyes reopened with absolute concentration as she raised her electrifying katana, cleaving the first sphere heading in her direction in two. Her body gracefully shifted to the side to dodge other attacks as she danced with her weapon, cutting off any attack that might hit her. Her body continued to sway with impressive grace and level, until she finally ended up in front of Issei. She attempted to cut him in two with a swift move that Issei was able to barely dodge. Trying to take advantage of the instability of his position, the Cadre attempted a sweep with her katana that Issei was able to dodge thanks to his wings. The beautiful woman's exhausting attacks did not end there, as she did a great somersault on herself, causing a large amount of lightning bolts to shoot out of the katana. Issei was able to dodge said attack as he disappeared from the Cadre's sight thanks to his flight, so Penemue's weapon ended up embedded deep in the ground.

A large number of cracks opened up all over the ground from the lightning and the attack itself, causing the ground to be dyed an electrifying violet color.

"Where is he?" Penemue wondered, noticing that Issei had disappeared from her perimeter.

Her eyes went over his back as she noticed a draft. Her crimson eyes narrowed as she noticed Issei positioned himself behind her, ready to slit her throat.

Just then, her hands tightened their grip on the hilt. Said hilt began to be covered in tiny bolts of lightning that grew larger and larger.

"ELECTRIC CORTEX!"

A large amount of violet rays shot out from the cracks in the ice, creating a kind of electric force field with a fairly wide beam.

Issei could only grit his teeth at what he witnessed. His arms quickly crossed in X as he dampened as much damage as possible, causing parts of his armor to be damaged bit by bit. Eventually, the same electrical barrier would end up dragging Issei out of range, so he was safe.

Or so he thought.

"Oh, shit..." His gaze went completely blank as he saw how all the lightning bolts were landing on the edge of Penemue's katana, creating a huge beam that reached all the way to the sky.

"STREAMING EDGE!"

Issei moved as fast as he could when he saw that the huge blade extended by the lightning was heading straight in his direction. Although he was able to dodge it, the destruction it left behind was impressive.

The only thing he could do now was run.

He ran and ran between the various ice rinks as that huge katana-guided beam kept following him, and it seemed to be getting closer and closer.

"You won't be able to escape forever." Declared Penemue, who was surrounded by an aura of lightning as she tilted her katana to the places her student was traveling.

"Shit...!" Issei thought again, but with more hysteria than the previous time as he noticed that the lightning was nothing away from reaching him.

The young man took a big somersault to go over the attack. In the same somersault he created a large sphere of red energy between his hands, which he then introduced into the ground when he finally fell.

His gaze drifted to the side in horror as he noticed that he already had the beam almost upon him.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

The powerful magical attack impacted against the ground, creating an enrome wall of ice that rose up over almost the entire area thanks to the released debris.

Penemue stood completely still in place as she felt the numerous small pieces of ice fall onto her unmoving face. Her eyes were fixed on how the lightning was cutting through the ice debris.

The seconds of silence were cut short as a figure landed on the large beam, being Issei himself who already had an attack ready.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

Penemue's eyes widened slightly at the unforeseen attack, watching as her lightning was completely destroyed in the face of the force exerted by the opposing attack.

Issei's gaze focused entirely on how his most powerful magical attack had been stopped dead in its tracks for some reason. His face showed no surprise as he noticed how the Dragon Shot was being split in half while a figure covered in lightning was approaching at a great speed.

Issei materialized his katana once more, only to wave it with both hands to the front just in time as Penemue's figure appeared above him, causing the two weapons to have an unparalleled collision.

The whole place was covered in a violet glow, and that same glow would be completely overshadowed after the huge explosion of lightning that surrounded the entire battlefield.

Issei was soon ejected from the curtain of dust. His figure fell shatteringly to the ground and began to roll and crash against all the debris as if he were a sack of cement, until he finally embedded himself against a wall.

His eyes slowly opened as he dematerialized his helmet, noticing minor damage to much of it. His eyes instantly focused on the seemingly defeated figure that was perched about 60 meters away from him.

Penemue spat out a large amount of blood as she remained on her knees. Her shadowed figure slowly rose, only to leave a trail of dust in her place.

Issei's eyes widened beyond belief after what he witnessed, as it was the first time he saw such a rapid displacement.

His hands flailed violently at his sides, creating a large amount of magic circles as he created two crimson spheres in his two hands, which then joined together into one gigantic sphere.

"DRAGON SHOT!"

The attack moved at unparalleled speed and its area covered the entire battlefield, generating a massive line of destruction in its wake.

The attack suffered a sort of spasm as it collided with something.

Penemue couldn't help but grit her teeth as she began to be swept away by the attack, so she quickly changed plans and tried to move above the attack in an attempt to avoid it. Penemue's eyes widened slightly as she noticed how numerous attacks had already anticipated that move and were heading in her direction. The Cadre began to slash left and right at each magical attack, but eventually she was overwhelmed, and that was a very clear picture as her teeth clenched like never before.

The woman's figure plunged into the destructive dragon Shot, which kept advancing until it finally slammed into a huge mountain, generating an unprecedented explosion. An explosion that would force Issei to take cover.

"Wait..." Issei slowly uncovered his face, denoting unparalleled fear. "I think it was too much for her!" Issei began to quickly run towards the edge of the large cliff that his own technique had created.

His body stopped dead in its tracks as he noticed how a massive lightning aura shot out from the gigantic crater, causing his figure to become completely paralyzed from the enormous pressure exerted by said energy. His face lifted as he noticed how a flash of lightning shot into the sky.

His entire being froze completely at the sight.

"It's been a long time since I've used my full power in a battle." She stated as her hair fluttered with unparalleled violence and her crimson eyes kept flashing a deep violet color. Those two factors, added to the large number of dark wings that covered her back, made her simply scary.

Issei said nothing about it, just stared at the imposing figure towering over him with that massive aura.

Penemue raised her katana with one of her hands as it glowed a much more intense violet color than the previous times. She charged her katana backwards, and her draw pose was completed with a massive shockwave that she generated by the sheer pressure of her energy.

"BLOODY TWILIGHT: THOUSAND LIGHTNING BOLTS."

Issei's eyes widened with unparalleled shock as he noticed how dozens of waves of lightning much larger and stronger than the previous time went straight for his position.

The place was completely covered in lightning and dust. The electrifying explosions continued to be heard for several seconds until they finally ceased.

Penemue positioned herself at the foot of the cliff as she looked up at the curtain of dust with complete seriousness.

"Maybe..." That ever serious expression on her changed a bit to a worried one. "Maybe I'll go a little overboard?"

The dust slowly dissipated, until finally a figure could be witnessed.

A figure that, in simple para labras, was in shit.

Issei was touching blood as he somehow held himself upright. His armor was almost completely gone, his torso was completely exposed while sporting burns and cuts over much of his body.

"I think we should stop." Penemue was quick to suggest upon seeing his student's deplorable condition.

"Don't worry." He replied as he continued to cough. "I can still..." His sentence was half-formulated after feeling a deep stabbing pain throughout his body.

Issei soon collapsed to the ground through a thudding sound.

Penemue slowly approached, then carried him as gently as possible.

"How come you want to continue in such a state?" She couldn't help but smile fondly as she noticed the efforts he was making in order to impress her.

The Cadre did not take her eyes off the unconscious Issei as she calmly flew to the nearby cave.

Several hours later...

Tiamat's eyes opened rather drowsily as daylight began to penetrate between the cracks of the window.

It had been a week already, and the desire to have Issei around had only increased.

Her hands clutched at the sheets as she gave a small yawn. She hadn't been sleeping as much as she used to lately, and the reason was obvious.

"I haven't heard from them yet, I hope everything is in order." Thought the dragoness aloud as she carved her eyes in an attempt to shake off her tiredness.

As was customary, Tiamat would sneak out at night and end up sleeping in Issei's room, though this habit seemed to have not had as much effect on her in the past few days.

Her feet landed on the floor as she sat on the edge of the bed. Her arms stretched out as if she were a feline who wasn't in such a good mood, her face said it all.

The dragoness looked at herself in the reflection of the alarm clock, noticing her grumpy look.

That was a fact that made her smile a little.

"I can't believe I've become so dependent on him when it comes to falling asleep. I guess he has some kind of gift." She would conclude with a small chuckle, remembering the more sentimental and fun times that happened in bed next to the lively young man.

"Do you think we should wake her up?" Her happy thoughts were interrupted as she heard voices coming from outside.

"It's still too early, besides she doesn't need to be woken up. She's not like our son." Mrs. Hyoudou's voice echoed inside the room, most likely she had found it quite easy to hear thanks to her dragoness senses.

"Don't even talk to me about him, it's nice that we could get rid of that useless brat for two weeks." Father stated, at which point Tiamat's eyebrows furrowed considerably.

"Why can't he be like Tiamat?" Complained the mother. "I can't believe our son turned out to be so useless."

"Don't worry about him." The man's voice sounded quite animated. "Once he graduates, we'll finally be able to adopt that girl. We'll be sure to correct those mistakes we had with the brat so that our young lady will be as diligent and beautiful as Tiamat, and even better!" The last part could be heard with great enthusiasm, something that flowed into Tiamat's icy eyes, a gaze so dark it would frighten God himself, if he were still alive.

"Speaking of her, I've already prepared all the furniture and toys. Once he's gone, we can completely remodel the room at last." Declared the mother with great ease.

"And to think it's so close. I just hope that brat doesn't go back to being another idiot. If it had been possible, I would have run him out of the house for skipping the Academy for a whole year, but that's in the past now..." The man continued to speak, though his voice became increasingly faint, making it clear that he was walking away from the place.

And, meanwhile...

In what was still Issei's room there was a stony silence.

"I always thought Issei's insecurity had started with everything that happened because of that Fallen Angel..." The dragoness couldn't help but grit her teeth in unparalleled rage. "But those two idiots turned out to be much worse than I thought. They even say all that about him so openly." Tiamat gave a big sigh in an attempt to relax her body that was shaking with fury, an action that seemed to work. "I'm sure you must have heard them more than once saying such horrible things..." All that fury turned into a great sadness.

She had been completely alone for a millennium, so she could understand what Issei felt all these years. What she couldn't say exactly how much he suffered.

After all, a millennium was a very long time, but she had known several happy times before that. Issei, on the other hand, had to endure all that even since he was born, and it was only when he met Matsuda and Motohama that he was able to free himself from such torment for good.

"They're lucky..." The comment came with a frozen air from his lips. "They're not dead yet, only because I know very well that Issei wouldn't want that."

The dragoness lowered her resentment-covered gaze, garnishing the mood with a bitter smile.

"I wonder how they would react if they knew that their so useless and idiotic son is saving their damn necks?"

In the mountains of Asgard...

The eyes of a completely bewildered Issei opened. It didn't take a second for him to sneeze with great force. That simple fact made him writhe in pain.

"What the fuck...?!" Issei couldn't help but grunt in pain again. His body not only shivered from the pain, but also from the cold.

His eyes opened back up to look at his body again, and it was at this moment that everyone understood the reason why he had cursed.

His body was covered with numerous bandages. His face and the lower half of his body was what was less affected, but his torso and arms were a completely different story.

Issei stopped admiring his scorched body as he felt how someone was holding his unbandaged hand.

His gaze softened considerably as he noticed that it was a Penemue sleeping peacefully beside him.

And at that moment, memories of the recent battle flooded his mind.

"It's the first time I've ever felt pain like that. It was like the damned lightning was burning the inside of my body." He thought, bringing his bandaged hand towards his head carefully, as he could barely move it properly.

"[Glad to see you're awake now, you've been asleep for hours.]." Ddraig's voice echoed inside Issei's mind, causing him to sit up rather awkwardly.

"Sorry, she really knocked me out there." Was all he could say to his dragon friend, accepting his harsh defeat.

"[The important thing is that you learned during the battle. That's something I can tell]." The dragon stated wisely, then turned serious. "[Well, did that help you to think of your own style?"] Issei was completely silent after what he heard.

He had been discussing together with his dragon companion on what could benefit him the most. At first they had very general opinions, but over the days those conversations became deeper and deeper.

"First of all, I'd like to thank you for listening to me for all these days. I know you don't really like the idea of me parting ways with the dragon style Tiamat taught me, and yet you still decided to help me." Issei commented with a genuine smile.

"[You don't have to say it!"] Roared the dragon with an amused tone. "[You're like a brother to me, so I'll always seek to help you as much as possible. So, if you don't feel entirely happy with that way of fighting, we'll simply invent another one]."

"Invent another..." Issei leaned back against the ice rock behind him, placing great importance on those words.

Issei placed a finger on his chin, causing Ddraig to go completely silent as he noticed how his bearer was thinking something very deeply.

"So what if I don't want to make it up, but combine it?"

"[I don't know exactly what you're thinking about, but that sounds very interesting.]" The dragon stated confidently.

"Tiamat's style gives one awesome destructive power, while Penemue's style gives one great speed and agility. If I can find a middle ground to use both at the same time..." Thought the brown-haired man with a great gleam in his eyes. "I'll most likely have to sacrifice certain moves, but using such a style would be..."

"[Impressive."] Ddraig shut down his carrier's idea. "[It might not be that original, but you'd become a fucking monster.]" The dragon would conclude, even impressing himself for mentioning such an adjective.

"Then, we lose nothing by trying." Issei's smile shifted from one of covered in decision to a shaky one. "The problem is that I must continue to advance in training in order to succeed in perfecting Penemue's teachings."

"[It's the idea and the intention that count. You may not succeed in perfecting it now, but don't give up your arms]" The dragon stated with great conviction.

If Ddraig knew anything about Issei, it was that he would never give up under any circumstance. Even if that circumstance validated his death.

"Having an idea about my technique, there is still one more thing I would like to do." Issei looked at his hand carefully. "Everyone has shown me that they have an impressive repertoire of magical techniques, but I don't have any of that. I know that my few magical reserves are a major limitation, but still..." Issei couldn't help but clench his fist in slight helplessness.

"[I understand what you mean, but it's kind of...complicated.]" Ddraig had to be completely honest, as he knew his companion's limiters perfectly. "[You're wrong if you only take into account your few magical reserves, as the vast majority have a lineage or an element that creates a world of possibilities for them, something that, a Reincarnated Demon could not have, unless their Sacred Gear is tied to an element. Something that is not the case with the Boosted Gear]" The dragon explained at the drop of a hat, leaving a second of silence for the words to sink inside Issei's mind. "[The only thing you have is the Boosted Gear's abilities, not counting the addition you have due to being a small part dragon for having me.]" Ddraig concluded, causing Issei's head to drop.

He wasn't discouraged, he was just thinking about the possibilities.

"So, I'm just counting on the boosts, dragon shot..." A small sphere appeared in his hand after saying those words. "And my katana, though I doubt anything can be done with this." He concluded, materializing his katana in his other hand.

"[Don't forget about the transfer of power."] The dragon instantly added. "[I could tell it's a power you don't use too much, even though it can be quite flexible in its possibilities. It was something you experienced yourself during your combat against the Sitri]." Ddraig's tone sounded wise in these moments. "[Although, the reality is that you can only do so much...]" It was easily noticeable how his tone dropped quite a bit. "[After all, it would be completely useless to transfer all your augmentations to your katana or your Dragon Shot...]" He concluded, causing Issei to widen his eyes a bit.

The brown-haired man looked between his energy sphere and the katana for a moment.

His eyes lit up like never before after finding an answer to his riddle that promised to have enormous destructive potential.

"Ddraig, you're a freaking genius!" Issei exclaimed in his mind with great energy.

"[Hum, that's something I already knew, but thank you for acknowledging it.]" Issei's tenant would commonly come across as rather arrogant after such praise, but the reality was that the doubts were hitting much higher than his own pride.

After all, he hadn't the slightest idea what his bearer had been thinking.

END OF CHAPTER!

See you very soon with the next chapter.

Thank you very much for reading!
