Hi there, author here. I'm just gonna clarify a question that people might eventually ask. How strong is Yujiro supposed to be? The short version is that Yujiro is a World Boss meaning that he's beyond what a single player could ever achieve status-wise. He broke the max level and is beyond the scale.

Desperation. It makes people choose options that would normally be unthinkable or unacceptable. However, for the survival of the human race, they were willing to do anything.

The Sorcery Kingdom. A nightmarish scenario that should have only existed in a horror story, but was actually created in real life and the source of the Slaine Theocracy's desperation. It came to be only a few months ago, but it changed the whole landscape. It was a den of monsters headed by the worst of its kind, an undead.

As of now, the new country had yet to make any significant move. The news that leaked from within told a different story from what they expected. Humans were not being used as food or to any other gruesome end, but they knew it was just a matter of time. The monsters were just trying to prevent an all-out war with the other nations and planned to slowly conquer them over the centuries. Unlike humans, they had a big enough life span which easily allowed them to create and execute plans that spanned long periods.

But, since humans didn't live for that long, it was nearly impossible to see past 50 years ahead. A plan which spanned over five years is already considered long-term planning. Normal people would never figure out what was happening as they slowly were pushed back over the generations. Slowly being conquered by the monsters.

Of course, this alone was nothing new to them. After all, humans weren't the strongest race around and had to struggle a lot to survive until the gods descended and aided them. Thanks to their help, humans now live a prosperous life which was now threatened by the one known as Ainz Ooal Gown. An undead monster that carried the same power as their Gods.

In their desperation, they turned to an artifact left behind by one of their gods. If used correctly, it could fulfill one wish. They had saved it all this time and now that the path from human extinction laid bare in front of them, they had to use it.

A ritual was performed. They gathered in their sanctuary and prayed. They prayed that the wish would come true and that no issues would occur. It had nothing to do with the actual artifact, but it felt right to them.

Around 50 people were chosen to participate. They decorated the inside of the room with gold and silver. Placed statues and paintings on the wall depicting their gods and kneeled around the one who held the artifact. Every single one present was an important figure to the country, but none were more important than the Black Scripture.

They were the 13 most powerful humans in the world and were called upon to guard the country should anything go wrong. Unfortunately, not all of them were there as they were killed in a previous mission near the location where the Sorcery Kingdom would later be founded. Coincidence? Not likely.

The priestess carrying the item entered the room. She held a box made of wood which glew with a beautiful white hue. With each step, she would present the box to the people around while thanking the gods for their mercy.

"It's taking too long. " One of the attendees said. She was crouched near the center of the room and was holding a helmet between her left arm and her torso.

"Zeshi, this is an important moment. Keep your guard up in case anything happens." The man who stood beside her said.

"Don't give me orders. I know what the mission is. I just don't get why so much praying. " Zeshi said as she placed her helmet on.

Zesshi Zetsumei or Antilene Heran Fouche was a God-kin alongside the captain of the Black Scripture and was the strongest person in the country. Both her armor and her scythe were artifacts left behind by their gods. She was invited alongside the rest of the Black Scripture for security concerns. Thus, she was allowed to bring all of her wartime equipment.

The priestess finally stopped. She now stood in the middle of a small stage next to where Zeshi was. Both of the God-kins took a few steps back to keep a safe distance from the artifact and took their fighting stances. There was no way of knowing what would come from that wish and they had to react as soon as possible.

The priestess took the artifact out of the box and raised it above her head. The blinding white light kept everyone from seeing what the artifact looked like, but it didn't matter to them as they actively avoided looking directly at it anyway.

"Oh, God's head our wish. Monsters threaten our existence once again. They are too powerful and too cunning for us alone, but we understand that this challenge must be overcome by a human's hand. Therefore, we do not seek direct assistance. Please, bring upon us the strongest human that there ever was. Be it in the past or future, in heaven or hell, a good person or an evil person. No matter his or her's origin. We wish for the strongest human to be brought to this very room. " The priestess said before jumping out of the stage as she threw the artifact away from her.

Just as they planned, the Black Scripture pulled her away from the room to avoid any possible injuries. There was no way of knowing what type of human would appear or even if the wish would be successful. That was why they had to take precautions against anything.

His room was lit up by a flash of light that immediately disappeared. Everyone who was fast enough to react shielded their eyes from it, but even those who didn't were not blinded by it. Instead, they were all left completely frozen in fear.

Their wish had come true. The strongest human was brought to them, but not in the way that they expected. Overwhelming killing intent filled the room and even the God-kins, the ones who never felt threatened in battle no matter their enemy, quivered for the first time since their younger days.

[Flow Acceleration] [Greater Wind Stride] [Greater Ability Boost]

Zesshi was the first one to respond to the killing intent by activating several martial arts one after the other. She immediately jumped after the monster who had just appeared. 'This is not a human. Dangerous. Must be killed. ' Zesshi thought as she was about to clash with the creature.

Of course, this assault didn't last long as she was completely outclassed and killed right away. The others present in the room soon followed the same fate. "They wanted the strongest human in history? Sure buddy. There you go. Hope you like it. " The universe answered. It was the same as a cosmical fuck you. The world just flipped the middle finger to them and their country and now they had Yujiro Hanma to deal with.

And the Ogre was not happy.

The scream of anger and frustration from the newly arrived Yujiro shook the whole foundation of the church. The sharp sound of a roaring beast left all those nearby on the floor fearing for their lives. But at last, even uncontrollable rage or fear will eventually die out.

After a few minutes, the guards stationed around the church began to recover.

"What was that? " A soldier asked one of his comrades.

"I have no idea. Get back to your position before anyone comes out of there. " The other one replied.

They quickly got up even though their legs were shaking and they couldn't stand properly without using some sort of support.

There were nearly three hundred soldiers standing guard around the church and none of them have any idea what they were doing there. The orders only said to protect the church even though it was a remote and barely used facility near the capital.

In their eyes, it was just a regular church without any sort of architectural flair. Just a plain old church that could be found anywhere. But for some reason, it now housed several of the most important figures of their state. People that the soldiers had never even seen before, but were ordered to respect appeared like it was a normal occurrence.

Among them was the most mysterious of all. Whether it was a man or a woman, none of the soldiers knew, but their silhouette appeared to be male. The other higher-ups and council members all went straight to him before greeting anyone else which meant that they were a very important person. Even the two Pontiffs who showed up bowed before him, but unlike the other people, this figure decided to stay in his chariot outside. Waiting for whatever they were doing to be concluded.

"It should be soon now. " They heard a deep voice saying as one of the chariots opened. It belonged to the mysterious person who held respect and authority over the people who were supposed to be running the country. The chariot itself was just like any official chariot so it was impossible to tell who they were, but the outfit certainly placed him apart. They were jet-black robes with purple lines running vertically all around them. The clothing seems enchanted to create a vortex of darkness making it impossible to see their identity.

"Lord, how may I..." One of the soldiers said just to be interrupted by the mysterious man.

"Move away from the doors. Make space for me and for our guests. " They said in a deep voice.

The guards quickly moved as far away as they could as to not displease that person even though doing that would go against their initial orders. The man jumped down from the chariot and walked to the main doors and then waited for a couple minutes.

The soldiers began exchanging confused looks as they watched the scene unfold. 'What was that killing intent? What was the screaming? How did it suddenly vanish? What are we even doing here in the first place? ' Thoughts like those filled the guard's heads, but the man looked like he knew what was going on.

'Zesshi Zetsumei is dead... along with everyone else in that room. I feel one life signature and although it hasn't moved for a while. It is now making its way here... ' They thought as they raised their right arm. 'Should I cast defensive magic and traps preemptively or not? They were slaughtered in a few seconds so it's obvious that the wish failed, but I'm considerably stronger than her. Still, I can't afford to take too many hits. '

[Body of Effulgent Beryl]

The man's body lit up with a weak light before going back to normal. 'Now that we lost both of our God-kins I shouldn't be too hasty. Too much was invested in getting it. One spell shouldn't be enough to be considered a threat so I'll probably have a good chance of communicating with it. I must also not allow the fact that he murdered the Black Scripture to cloud my judgment. That just proves that it is stronger than all of them combined and hopefully, stronger than our enemies. '

The cloaked figure continued to wait right in front of the doors for a few more minutes without saying anything. The guards also remained silent and observant and only the sounds of nature could be heard until the doors were pushed open.

It was fast. The time it took for the noise of the grinding metal and the doors flying off their hinges was so small that they might as well have happened at the same time. However, the doors didn't move very far. With the amount of power required to take on all of the 13 members of the Black Scripture, the clocked figure didn't expect the summoned one to have such control over their strength.

The doors flew a few meters perfectly vertically before falling to the ground. They were bent in a convex shape as if they were a section of a sphere but otherwise undamaged. Everyone's attention moved from the door back to the church where they saw a man exit.

He was a tall man with red hair and black pants. For some reason, he was shirtless exposing his honed body to everyone. The soldiers couldn't believe the amount of muscle that man was packing. The size, definition and shape all screamed perfection. It was like...

"Are you human? " The clocked figured asked as he watched the man walking up to him without responding.

The soldiers quickly placed their hands on their swords but stopped as soon as Yujiro turned the slightest attention toward them. They realized that they couldn't do anything but watch.

It had been a while since Yujiro was able to clear his mind. After thinking for a bit, it was obvious to him that this was not a dream. If it was, the rage would have brought him back to reality. The only other option was that he was moved in somehow to a completely different position by someone. He had no idea how something like that could be possible, but it was the only explanation that made sense so Yujiro decided to figure out where he was.

He continued walking until he was just a few centimeters away from the clocked figure who also didn't back down. He was small compared to Yujiro's 195cm(6ft5) so the Ogre had to bend down a bit to face him. 'From the looks of those dumb clothes they are wearing this must be some type of uniform. So it must be a military force of some kind and this one who is standing in my way must be their leader. ' Yujiro thought as he tried to peak through the void that engulfed his opponent's face.

"A question like that coming from a thing like you. That's laughable! Ha ha ha ha. I should be the one asking that question to you. Are you human? " Yujiro asked as he placed both of his hands in his pocket. He laughed as his head moved upwards.

That question and the attitude made everyone confused. Here was yet another man that no one had ever seen being disrespectful to someone who was also a mystery. Both of them present in a secret meeting with the most important rules of their country. It was too much for them. 'He figured out who I am?! ' The cloaked figure thought. 'Even the God-kins had to be told. Not even one of them was able to see through me. What is this... man? '

"Stupid questions aside. Were you the one who brought me here? " Yujiro asked as his smile turned into a serious face.

Normally, Yujiro wouldn't waste time talking with anyone that he didn't deem to be worthy and a dead man wasn't it, even if it was standing up on his own and talking. Yujiro didn't show any reaction to it. He didn't know why that pile of bones was there or even how he immediately could tell what that thing was. To Yujiro, it simply didn't matter that a dead creature could talk only if it said the words he wanted to hear. All that he cared about was to make his way back to Baki as fast as he could.

'He's pissed off, but still rational enough for a conversation. No reaction to my spell or my nature either so he must be confident. I'll leave my curiosity aside and just try to de-escalate the situation. ' The cloaked man thought.

"I'm with the people that brought you, but the ones who did it were in there. " The cloaked figure said.

"Where are we? " Yujiro asked with an even more serious look on his face.

"Slaine Theocracy... " The cloaked man responded and continued talking, but Yujiro didn't pay attention. Upon hearing the name of what he assumed to be a country, his mind started working on the direction he should take to get back to Japan. The only problem was that he couldn't figure out where that country was.

'Slaine Theocracy? Sounds like one of those dirty dictatorship types. Middle east? No. There's no country with such a name there. Nor is it in Asia. Which means... South America. No... never heard of the country like that before. Hm... I traveled across the entire world seeking strong opponents, but I missed one where they had the technology to move me great distances in an instant? Impossible... I see. ' Yujiro's face contorted creating a terrifying smile. His eyes seemingly began to glow with a red hue as he extend both of his arms to the side.

The cloaked man was still in the middle of his monologue until they felt the killing intent from Yujiro. "You're lying to me and if I can trust what comes out of your mouth then I don't need you. " Yujiro said as he closed his left fist before slamming it right into his opponent's face.

"What?! " Yujiro said in shock. He could tell that his opponent wasn't that tough so he didn't go all out, but to not be affected by the attack at all was a surprise for Yujiro.

'A punch? Just like I expected from his attire. He's a monk. ' The cloaked figure thought as it grabbed Yujiro's left hand.

[Touch of Undeath]

The cloaked figure attempted to cripple his opponent with all the status effects he could inflict, but after a few moments, he realized that all of them failed. 'None?! Not even paralysis? What type of resistance does this guy have?! ' The cloaked figure thought just as he saw Yujiro's right fist coming toward him.

[Greater Teleportation]

They let go of Yujiro's hand and then suddenly disappeared. Yujiro's right punch struck the air while the initial target reappeared a few meters away from him. 'Is he incredibly fast? No. There's no way I would miss an opponent moving several meters like that. And this weird sensation on my left hand. Poison?! ' Yujiro thought as he turned his attention to his left hand. 'No visible damage, but the muscles and bones suffered some type of attack. So many unknowns. ' Yujiro thought as he began to walk toward his opponent.

"An undead! " One of the soldiers screamed as he pointed to the cloaked figure. The creature quickly placed his hands on his face only to notice that his headpiece was blown backward. The guards quickly pulled out their swords and took a fighting stance.

'I thought I had dodged it completely. This guy is too fast. ' The undead said as he placed his hood back on top of his head. 'Now I have to kill everyone here... great.'

"What an interesting opponent. You avoided not only one but two of my punches. You're strong. Normally I wouldn't mind having you for my meal right now, but there's a very important plate waiting for me in Japan so just tell me where I am and I won't kill you. " Yujiro said as he placed both of his hands back into his pockets.

'Japan?! I've heard that before... a long time ago. ' The undead thought as he watched Yujiro slowly approach him.

"If you agree to come with me I-"

Yujiro suddenly lunged toward the undead with his torso low on the ground before delivering a powerful uppercut. "That's not what I want to hear! " Yujiro screamed as he attacked the undead.

The soldiers who were ready to fight at any moment became unable to move as soon as Yujiro attacked. They just stood there in their stances as if they were statues.

[Maximaze Magic: Nuclear Blast]

The undead quickly pointed his finger forward at the last second and cast an AOE spell. The explosion that deals both fire and bludgeoning damage was a poor choice for an undead when the caster himself is in range, but it was the only spell that could push his opponent backward.

Both Yujiro and the undead were hit by the spell but it was obvious that the caster suffered a lot more damage than the target. Yujiro used his legs to stop just a few meters away from where he stood and both of his arms were in front of him. He had initially blocked the spell without even having no idea what a spell even was.

Smoke was coming out of Yujiro's arms which had taken the brunt of the impact and had a few burn marks, but otherwise, he was fine. The undead, however, wasn't. It was laying on the floor just a few meters away from he was when cast the spell. It quickly got up revealing that its jaw was missing. 'Two weaknesses at the same time. Thankfully I had my bludgeoning resistance increased, but it's still too much damage. '

"Now we're using explosives? You really have no pride in being a warrior huh? " Yujiro said as he began to walk slowly toward the undead. "What is your name? "

The undead got up soon after. "Warrior? I'm a magic caster. What are you talking about? "

"Magic caster? Is that what you tricksters are calling yourselves nowadays? Ha ha ha ha. You bring cheap things like bombs and hidden weapons to a fight because you lack strength and power, but instead of calling yourselves cowards and weaklings, it's now called being a magic caster? That's laughable. Ha ha ha ha." Yujiro's chuckle was short-lived but deadly to anyone who was too prideful. Thankfully, that was not the undead's case. "I like you. What is your name? "

'Almost no damage. Either that or he's really good at faking it. ' The undead thought as he prepared to continue the fight.

"Why the sudden interest? " The undead asked as he began walking sideways.

"I like to know the names of those who I devour. It's not often that someone survives three of my attacks. Even though your power is not that great, I admire your use of technology. I'm sure Baki wouldn't mind me taking a few seconds before going to fight him. " Yujiro said as he once again extended both of his arms to the side.

The bloodlust coming from Yujiro became hundreds of times greater than before. So much so that it was almost visible. The air became heavy and distorted around Yujiro's body almost as if the world was having trouble trying to keep him from breaking the very fabric of space.

'A... demon... ' The soldiers behind Yujiro thought. They saw as his muscles turned into the shape of a demon's face.

'This pressure and this power. It's hard to believe that he is human. ' The undead thought as he stopped walking.

"My name is Rufus. What is yours? " The undead asked.

"Yujiro Hanma. " Yujiro responded. Rufus wanted to ask more questions, but Yujiro's body language told him that it was time to fight. No more talking was allowed.

The Ogre once again moved at incredible speeds seemingly no longer holding back. Had Yujiro and Rufus been at the same distance as they were before, Rufus would not be able to react in time.

[Greater Teleportation]

Once again, the undead disappeared. This time, however, Yujiro wasn't fazed in the slightest. He suddenly stopped and began waiting for his opponent to strike.

Rufus found himself inside his chambers back in Slain Theacracy's capital city. He quickly took off the hood from his head and began walking to the meeting room to report the results of the mission. 'Yujiro Hanma... a monk with incredible speed and power. Taking him on directly would lead to my defeat, but if I use gorilla tactics and weaker undead summons I have a pretty good chance of killing him but doing so would be dumb after sinking all of those resources to bring him here. The smarter move would be to try and use him against the Sorcery Kingdom, but I doubt Yujiro will listen to any of us willingly. We must use his personality to make him go after the Sorcercy Kingdoom with his own initiative. Yeah... it could work. ' Rufus thought as he opened the door and entered the meeting room.

Yujiro and the rest of the soldiers stood there motionless for a good five minutes until Yujiro finally decided to leave his stance. "That piece of shit ran away. " Yujiro said with a smile on his face.

His anger and frustration were once again, but there was still a silver lining. There were hundreds of people there and even though the leader had lied, what are the chances that everyone here would do it too.

"Where are we? " Yujiro asked as he looked at the crowd.

The soldiers once again began to quiver, but no one dared to respond. Yujiro's face became serious for a single instance forcing everyone to reply at the same time.

"Slaine Theocracy, sir. "

Multiple veins appeared on Yujiro's face as he became stunned by the unanimous reply. "You... dare to lie to me?! " Yujiro screamed as he immediately jumped toward the soldiers.

Screams. Terrifying screams of pain and suffering. At least it didn't last for long.

Now, staring at multiple corpses and a lake of blood, Yujiro had no option but to look at the sky. "To the east then. " Yujiro said as he began running full speed towards Japan.
