Chapter One: Rising From Trauma
The Hokage's dimly lit office was heavy with grief and the scent of burning incense. The four elder summons gathered around the oak desk, their voices hushed as they discussed the ritual. The fading orange glow of the setting sun filtered through the large windows, casting long shadows across the spacious room. Naruto, the newborn son of the late Minato and Kushina, lay fast asleep in a soft blue blanket on the desk, blissfully unaware of the sorrow surrounding him.
The Third Hokage's thoughts were a tumultuous mess, torn between the weight of his responsibility and the loss of his dear friends. Memories of Minato and Kushina flooded his mind, making his heart ache with longing and regret. He knew he had to do everything in his power to help their son, but he also knew that he alone could not protect Naruto from the dangers that lay ahead.
Akua, the Mimic Octopus, gracefully glided near the ceiling, her tentacles swirling with a mix of excitement and apprehension. Her bright blue and pink circles seemed duller in the dim light. Tadami, the emerald green Anaconda with brown diamond patterns, coiled tightly around the leg of a chair, his body tense. Yua, the Arctic Wolf with grey and white fur, sat on the floor, her piercing golden eyes fixed on the sleeping baby, her expression mournful. Yonaka, the Hooded Crow with sleek black feathers, perched atop the Hokage's chair, his sharp obsidian gaze calculating as always.
The Third Hokage sighed deeply, his aged face etched with worry and heartache. "I don't know if this ritual will help Naruto, but we have to try. He deserves a chance to choose his own path."
Yua nodded her furry head solemnly. "Yes, Hokage-sama. If Naruto chooses to use us as his summons when he's older, he will have personal summons bonded to him by blood and chakra."
Akua's tentacles swirled faster in excitement. "We have each brought a newborn or soon-to-be-born summon for the ritual."
Tadami hissed softly. "But we must be cautious. This ritual is not without risks."
Yonaka cawed in agreement. "Indeed, we must be mindful of the consequences."
The Third Hokage gave them a determined nod. "Very well. Proceed with the ritual."
Carefully, they pricked Naruto's tiny finger, extracting a single drop of blood and a minuscule amount of chakra from the sleeping infant. Each elder summon placed the blood and chakra on their respective offspring.
As the ritual commenced, something wholly unexpected occurred. Akua's bright orange egg transformed, its smooth surface now covered in swirling black chain-like designs. Yonaka's small speckled egg took on the appearance of blood red sharingan patterns. Tadami's pale green egg morphed into a fiery crimson, etched with intricate symbols. Yua's tiny wolf pup became encased in a layer of ice, engraved with spiky blue cloud designs.
Moments later, the eggs hatched and the pup emerged anew.
Yua's wolf pup, now with snowy white fur and jagged black lightning bolt shapes on its ankles, opened its eyes to reveal gleaming gold irises. Yua named him Yukio.
Akua name the newly-hatched Octopus Mystique, which displayed a striking burnt orange hue with ebony swirls and captivating sapphire eyes.
Yonaka name the new hatched crow, Yata, which showcased glossy black feathers adorned with scarlet tomoe symbols, his ruby eyes gleaming with intellect.
Lastly, Tadami named the newly hatched emerald Anaconda , Esmeralda slithered out with mustard yellow spots speckling her scales.
The Third Hokage gazed at them in wonder, his heart swelling with hope for the first time since the tragedy. "This is truly miraculous."
Before departing, the elder summons reminded the Hokage of Naruto's choice. "Remember, Hokage-sama, Naruto may choose whether or not to use us as his summons when he comes of age. The bond we have created today will remain eternally, regardless of his decision."
As the elder summons disappeared in puffs of smoke, the Hokage approached Naruto's crib and looked down at the sleeping baby. He couldn't help but feel a sense of sadness and foreboding as he gazed at the child who had been burdened with the fate of being the Jinchuriki of the Nine-Tailed Fox
With a heavy heart, the Hokage gently lifted Naruto from his crib and cradled him in his arms. "I promise, Naruto, I will do everything in my power to help you grow into the great ninja you are destined to become. Your parents would be so proud of you." He knew that this was the last time he would see the child for many months, and he wanted to make sure that he was left in good hands.
As he left the room, the Third Hokage was met by one of his advisors, who had been waiting outside. "What will we do with the child, Hokage-sama?" the advisor asked.
The Third Hokage sighed. "There is only one place for him now," he said. "The orphanage."
With that, the Hokage made his way through the quiet streets of the village, cradling Naruto in his arms. The baby slept soundly, unaware of the fate that had been thrust upon him.
Finally, they arrived at the orphanage, a small, run-down building on the outskirts of the village. It was made of wood and had a sloping roof that was covered in moss and lichen. The windows were small and dirty, with broken panes of glass that had been patched up with tape and cardboard.
The Third Hokage handed Naruto over to the matron, a stern-looking woman with a heart of gold, but who secretly harbored a deep resentment towards the child due to what he held.
"Take care of him," the Third Hokage said, his eyes filled with emotion. "He is special, and he deserves to be treated with love and respect."
The matron nodded, her eyes softening as she gazed at the sleeping baby in her arms. "Don't worry, Hokage-sama," she said, her voice filled with a forced politeness. "We will take good care of him."
With a heavy heart, the Hokage turned and walked away, leaving Naruto in the care of the orphanage. The building was quiet once again, except for the sound of the baby's soft breathing. The matron cradled Naruto gently, looking down at him with a mix of tenderness and resentment.
The orphanage was dimly lit and smelled of mildew and dampness. The floors were made of wooden planks that creaked underfoot, and the walls were bare except for a few faded paintings and posters. The main room of the orphanage was sparsely furnished, with a few wooden chairs and a small table in the center. In one corner, there was a crib where Naruto was sleeping, wrapped in a blanket.
The matron knew that she had a difficult task ahead of her. She had seen many children come and go from the orphanage over the years, but none of them had been burdened with the kind of destiny that Naruto carried. She was secretly furious that she had to take care of him, knowing what he held and the danger that came with it. She vowed to do everything in her power to give him a chance at a miserable life, until she could kick him out and be rid of him.
Four years later, The sun was setting over the village of Konohagakure, casting an orange glow on the buildings and trees that lined the streets. The sky was painted with vibrant shades of red, gold, and pink as the sun dipped below the horizon. A gentle breeze rustled the leaves in the trees, bringing a hint of coolness to the warm air.
The towering Hokage's office, made of gleaming wood and stone, stood proudly above the village. Its sloped rooftop and heavy wooden beams were silhouetted against the colorful sky. The stoic stone faces of the previous Hokages gazed down silently at the bustling activity below.
On this peaceful evening, an extraordinary and frightening event was unfolding in the hidden village. Four-year-old Naruto Uzumaki found himself being chased through the winding streets by an angry mob, their rage and hatred fueled by the knowledge that the spirit of the Nine-Tailed Fox was sealed within the boy. His bright blue eyes were wide with fear as he ran as fast as his small legs could carry him, panting heavily as he desperately tried to escape the hateful crowd pursuing him. The mob hurled insults at the boy, calling him a demon and a monster. Their anger intensified with every step as they gained on him, like a pack of ravenous beasts hunting their prey.
As Naruto turned a corner into a dimly lit alleyway, the crowd descended upon him with uncontrolled fury. They kicked and beat him with wooden bats, their blows raining down upon his small body without mercy. In that moment, Naruto's eyes suddenly changed, revealing the red and black pattern of the Sharingan. The mob hesitated briefly, shocked by this unforeseen development, but their hatred and rage quickly overcame their surprise. Bloodlust now fueling their assault, they resumed their brutal attack with a vengeance.
Although Naruto fought back fiercely, his newfound Sharingan giving him an edge, he was ultimately overwhelmed by the sheer number of his attackers. He fell to the ground battered and bruised, blood pooling around his broken body as his consciousness began to slip away.
As Naruto started to lose hope, Itachi Uchiha, a 15-year-old ANBU operative, appeared silently at the entrance to the alleyway. His own Sharingan eyes blazed with fury as he witnessed the horrific scene before him. With lightning-fast speed, Itachi unsheathed his katana and launched into the crowd. His blade gleamed as it cut through one enemy after another, tearing through flesh and bone without resistance. The alleyway ran red with the blood of Itachi's victims as their dying screams echoed through the narrow space. The prodigy exacted his vengeance without mercy for their cruel actions.
Scooping up the unconscious Naruto into his arms, Itachi raced toward the village hospital, droplets of blood staining his white ANBU armor as he ran. His mind swirled with unanswered questions about how this young boy had awakened the Sharingan, a feat that should have been impossible for anyone outside the Uchiha clan. Glancing down at Naruto's battered yet peaceful face, Itachi's eyes softened briefly. He vowed to protect this child and guide him in mastering his new power.
Itachi carried Naruto in his arms as he ran towards the hospital, his Sharingan scanning the area for any signs of danger. Naruto's body was limp and still, the exhaustion of the fight and the stress of the situation having taken a toll on his small frame. Itachi's heart ached at the thought of the young boy being targeted by the mob, and he vowed to do everything in his power to protect him.
When they arrived at the hospital, Itachi rushed Naruto to the emergency room, where the medical staff quickly took him in. The hospital itself was a large and modern facility with multiple floors and many different departments. It had a spacious lobby with comfortable seating and a reception area where patients checked in. The walls were painted in calming colors, and there were large windows that allowed natural light to stream in.
Itachi stood by, his eyes never leaving Naruto, as the doctors worked to stabilize him and assess the extent of his injuries. The emergency room was a busy and chaotic area, with doctors and nurses rushing about attending to patients. The room was well-equipped with state-of-the-art medical equipment, including monitors, IV machines, and oxygen tanks.
After the brutal attack by the mob, Naruto lay unconscious in Itachi's arms as he rushed him to the hospital. The building where Itachi checked Naruto in was a small annex next to the main hospital building. The single-story structure had a pristine white exterior and a red-tiled roof, giving it a cozy and welcoming appearance. The entrance led to a well-lit reception area with a few chairs and a desk where a friendly looking receptionist greeted them.
The receptionist quickly checked Naruto in after asking for his information, and gave Itachi a key to the observation room where Naruto would be staying. The room was small and simple, with white walls and a tiled floor. The single window let in natural light, which illuminated the room, making it feel peaceful and serene. The room had a bed with white sheets, a small table, and a chair, providing the necessary comfort and convenience for Naruto's recovery.
Hiruzen was about to leave his office to check on Naruto when Danzo burst in, his face twisted in anger. "What is the meaning of this, Hiruzen?" he spat. "You promised to protect the Jinchuriki, and yet he was attacked by a mob on your watch!"
Third Hokage stood up, his expression calm but firm. "I assure you, Danzo, that we did everything in our power to prevent this from happening. The situation was unexpected and chaotic, but we acted quickly to intervene and protect Naruto."
Danzo sneered. "Clearly, your measures were not enough. The Jinchuriki is a weapon, and we cannot afford to have a weak one. He needs to be trained, to be able to protect himself and the village from potential threats."
The Third Hokage bristled at the suggestion. "I am well aware of the importance of the Jinchuriki, Danzo. But we must also consider Naruto's well-being and safety. We cannot simply use him as a tool and discard him when he is no longer useful."
Itachi was in the hospital, anxiously waiting for news on Naruto's condition, unaware of the tense conversation taking place between the Hokage and Danzo.
Finally, after what seemed like an eternity, The Third Hokage and Danzo reached a compromise. They agreed that Naruto needed to be trained, but not by Danzo alone. The Third Hokage's trusted ANBU would also be involved in his training, to ensure that he was not exploited or mistreated. They mutually agreed that it was necessary to prepare Naruto for potential threats to the village.
However, they also agreed that Naruto would not reveal his true strength unless they were in a war or faced a dire emergency. Itachi couldn't help but feel a twinge of discomfort at the thought of Naruto having to hide his true potential, but he knew that it was necessary for his safety.
Danzo insisted that Naruto must play dumb and weak, to avoid drawing attention to himself or arousing suspicion. The Third Hokage reluctantly agreed, knowing that it was a necessary precaution to protect Naruto.
The Third Hokage arrived at the hospital, his heart heavy with worry. He had heard of the attack on Naruto and rushed to his bedside as quickly as he could. He saw that Naruto was awake and approached his bed.
"Hello, Naruto," The Third Hokage said gently. "How are you feeling?"
Naruto looked up at the Third Hokage and tried to smile. "I'm okay," he said quietly.
The Third Hokage nodded, his expression serious. "I need to know what happened, Naruto. How did you end up outside at this late hour?"
Naruto looked down at his lap, his eyes filling with tears. "The orphanage kicked me out," he said in a small voice. "I was searching for food when the mob chased me and attacked me."
The Third Hokage's heart sank as he heard this. He knew that Naruto had already suffered so much in his young life, and he was determined to do everything in his power to make sure he never had to suffer again.
"I'm so sorry, Naruto," the Third Hokage said, his voice full of sympathy. "No child should ever have to go through what you've been through. But don't worry, we'll take care of you. I'm going to arrange for you to have your own apartment, and I'll make sure that you have some of our most trusted Anbu to train you."
Naruto's eyes widened in surprise. "Really?" he asked, his voice full of hope.
The Third Hokage nodded, a small smile playing at his lips. "Yes, really. And when you're feeling better, you and I will train together. And Danzo will also train you when he is available."
Naruto's eyes widened even more, and he began jumping up and down in excitement. "That's awesome! I can't wait to start training with you and Danzo, old man!"
The Third Hokage chuckled at Naruto's enthusiasm. "I'm glad you're excited, Naruto. But for now, you need to rest. When you're well enough to leave the hospital, we'll go shopping for everything you need for your new apartment. But for now, you need to sleep."
Naruto nodded eagerly, his eyes shining with excitement. "Okay, Old Man, I'll rest and get better as soon as possible!"
The Third Hokage patted his hand gently before turning to leave.
"Crow," Third Hokage said to Itachi, who was waiting outside, "wait there for a moment, please."
Itachi nodded, his expression serious. He knew that Naruto's situation was delicate and that he needed to be careful.
The Third Hokage left the room, feeling a sense of relief that Naruto was going to be okay. He knew that there were still many challenges ahead, but he was determined to do everything in his power to ensure that Naruto had the best possible chance at a happy life.
The Third Hokage closed the door before he turned to face Itachi, his expression serious. "Crow, I need to talk to you about Naruto's training," he said, his voice measured.
Itachi nodded, a look of determination on his face. "I want to help train him. I owe him that much," he replied, his voice low.
The Third Hokage regarded Itachi for a moment, considering his request. He knew that Itachi was a skilled ninja, but he also knew that he had a complicated past.
"I appreciate your offer, Crow," the Hokage said, using Itachi's code name. "But training Naruto will require discretion and trust. Can I count on you to keep this a secret?"
Itachi nodded, his expression serious. "You can trust me, Hokage-sama. I'll do everything in my power to ensure Naruto becomes a strong ninja and never has to suffer like I did."
The Third Hokage nodded, his expression serious. "Very well. I'll assign you to the team that will train Naruto in secret. But remember, this is an S-rank mission and must be kept confidential."
Itachi bowed respectfully. "I understand, Hokage-sama. Thank you for this opportunity."
The Third Hokage tspoke in a low, serious voice. "Crow, I also want you to put the head of the orphanage into a Genjutsu of your choice as punishment for kicking Naruto out of the orphanage. Then afterward, give her a pink slip. We will find a replacement for her tomorrow."
Itachi's eyes narrowed, but he nodded once. "Understood, Hokage-sama."
The Hokage regarded Itachi for a moment longer before turning and walking away, leaving Itachi to contemplate the enormity of the task ahead. He knew that training Naruto would not be easy, but he was determined to do everything in his power to ensure that Naruto had a chance to succeed. And he knew that he could count on Itachi to help make that happen.
It was a cold, moonlit night in the Hidden Leaf Village when Itachi Uchiha left the hospital, his heart heavy with the weight of his mission. He had just learned about the terrible treatment of a young orphan named Naruto, who was barely four years old. The head of the orphanage had heartlessly kicked the helpless child out of the only home he'd ever known, and the boy was subsequently attacked by a mob. Itachi knew he had to put things right, no matter the cost.
With a whisper of his cloak, Itachi took to the rooftops, leaping gracefully from one building to another, his exceptional skills as a ninja allowing him to move silently and swiftly. The moon cast its light upon him, creating a barely discernible shadowy figure against the night sky.
As he neared the orphanage, Itachi spotted the head of the orphanage, a middle-aged woman with a severe expression, taking a smoke break just outside the building. The acrid smell of her cigarette wafted through the air as she puffed away, seeming to revel in the misery she had caused.
Itachi approached her stealthily, his eyes narrowing as his Sharingan began to glow. He knew that he needed to be quick, for the woman was not to be taken lightly. As his gaze met hers, he activated his Tsukuyomi, a powerful genjutsu that would trap her in an alternate reality of his design.
In the blink of an eye, the woman was engulfed by the illusion, her mind ensnared by Itachi's will.
She opened her eyes and found herself in a strange crimson world. The sky and ground seemed to be made of intertwining red veins. There were no sounds, smells or sensations, only the eerie silence of this red realm.
Suddenly, ghostly figures began to emerge from the red ground – the spirits of the children she had mistreated. A little girl appeared, her pale face gaunt with hunger. Spectral chains bound her wrists and ankles, anchoring her to the red ground. The woman felt the same gnawing hunger that had eaten away at the little girl's body and mind.
More spirits arose – a boy beaten black and blue, bones broken and twisted. She could feel every shattered bone and bruise on her own body. Another girl, hollow-eyed from lack of sleep, her exhaustion, and delirium becoming the woman's own. A boy locked for days in a tiny, airless closet, his terror and madness seeping into her thoughts.
The red world twisted and turned violently, the children's spirits swirling around her, their mouths open in endless, muted screams. She felt every ounce of the unthinkable suffering she had inflicted upon them. Their agony became her own, the pain burrowing into her mind and soul.
Centuries seemed to pass in this nightmare realm as she descended into madness. By the time Itachi released her from the Tsukuyomi, her mind and body were shattered. She had lived through each child's worst torment, their pains, and fears forever engraved into her consciousness.
When the illusion finally lifted, she collapsed, a trembling wreck. Itachi stood over her, the Sharingan in his eyes still glowing with the power that had destroyed her. In her broken state, she could only reach out a quivering hand to accept the pink slip he held out to her, a final release from her unending torment.
"You have until we find a suitable replacement to leave this place," Itachi said, his voice cold and emotionless. "If you ever harm another child again, I won't hesitate to make your punishment far more severe."
With that, Itachi turned and disappeared into the night, leaving the head of the orphanage to contemplate her actions and the consequences they had wrought.
Four days had passed since Naruto's hospitalization and subsequent expulsion from the orphanage. The promise of a new apartment and a shopping spree with the Third Hokage loomed in his mind, driving his excitement. As the sun bathed the village of Konoha in warm golden hues, Naruto stood outside the hospital, eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Third Hokage and his Anbu guards.
Finally, they arrived— the Third Hokage, accompanied by Crow, Dog, and Cat. Naruto's eyes widened with anticipation as he greeted them, his vibrant orange jumpsuit contrasting with the clear blue sky.
"Hey, old man! I've been waiting!" Naruto exclaimed, his voice filled with youthful energy.
The Third Hokage smiled warmly, his eyes crinkling at the corners. "I apologize for the delay, Naruto. We have a busy day ahead of us. Are you ready?"
Naruto nodded eagerly, his blonde hair swaying with each movement. "Yeah, I'm ready for anything!"
The group embarked on their journey, starting with the first store on their list—a place to procure essential household items such as silverware, cups, bowls, plates, a microwave, and a fridge. The store, known as "Home Essentials," stood proudly in the heart of the bustling village, its exterior adorned with vibrant banners and a welcoming sign.
Entering the store, Naruto couldn't help but notice the cold glares directed his way. The store owner, a middle-aged man with a scowl etched on his face, radiated animosity towards Naruto, his prejudice fueled by the knowledge of the Kyuubi's presence within him.
Undeterred by the hostile atmosphere, the Third Hokage approached the counter, Naruto standing by his side. "We're here to purchase household items for Naruto's new apartment," he declared firmly.
The store owner's disdain dripped from his words. "And what makes you think I want to serve the likes of him?" he sneered, pointing an accusatory finger at Naruto.
Naruto's brows furrowed, a mixture of anger and determination crossing his face. Crow, sensing the tension, stepped forward, his crimson Sharingan eyes locking onto the store owner's.
"Be careful with your words," Crow warned with an eerie calmness. "You're speaking to the Third Hokage, the revered leader of this village. Show some respect."
The store owner's arrogance dissolved into fear as the weight of his words settled upon him. He quickly averted his gaze, refusing to meet Crow's piercing stare.
"My apologies, Hokage-sama," the store owner stammered, his voice trembling. "Please forgive my disrespect."
Naruto smirked triumphantly, savoring this small victory against prejudice. The Third Hokage accepted the apology with a nod, redirecting his attention to Naruto.
"Let's proceed, Naruto. Choose everything you need for your new home," the Third Hokage encouraged, guiding Naruto through the aisles brimming with silverware, cups, bowls, plates, microwaves, and fridges.
Naruto's eyes sparkled with excitement as he surveyed the array of items before him. He imagined his new apartment, a place he could truly call his own. With the affirmation that everything would be provided free of charge, Naruto's smile widened, radiating pure joy.
"Really, Everything?" Naruto asked, his voice tinged with disbelief.
"Really, everything," affirmed the Third Hokage, Hiruzen Sarutobi, a warm smile lighting up his aged features. He watched as Naruto's wide, azure eyes darted around the store, landing on each item in turn. It was a heartwarming sight, seeing the child so excited about these simple things. Yet, the store owner, a stern-faced man with a permanent scowl, seemed less than pleased with their presence.
The owner couldn't help but glare at Naruto, his eyes full of unjust resentment. Itachi, Naruto's protector and companion, noticed the man's attitude. With a narrow-eyed glare of his own, he activated his Sharingan, the red and black design swirling as he met the man's gaze.
The store was filled to the brim with all sorts of household items. There were large appliances such as a washer and dryer, a dishwasher, and brand-new air conditioning units for the bedroom and living room. In the furnishing section, there were plush rugs in various sizes and patterns for the kitchen, bathroom, and doorway.
The Third Hokage also picked out a pair of matching couches, a comfortable chair, a gleaming coffee table, and a sturdy dining table with matching chairs. There was a soft, thick rug for the living room, a bed, a dresser, and stands for lamps. They selected curtains in warm, inviting colors, a full set of dishes, silverware, pots, and pans. In the electronics section, they chose a television for the living room and another for the bedroom, along with a toaster and microwave.
The Third Hokage didn't forget to add smaller but important items like a coat rack, shoe rack, blankets, pillows, garbage cans for each room, clocks, a new stove, fans, book rack, and books. For a homely touch, they chose a couple of lamps, framed pictures, toys, and even a rocking chair with a footstool for the living room.
In the personal care aisle, the Hokage selected a new toothbrush and scrubs, dishwashing essentials, toothpaste, and mouthwash. There were different kinds of soaps for handwashing and showering. And of course, bathroom curtains to ensure privacy.
Itachi's Sharingan glowed ominously as he held the shop owner's gaze. Suddenly, the owner blinked, shaking his head as if to clear it. He seemed to stumble a little, lost in a world only he could see. This was the power of the Sharingan's Genjutsu, capable of infiltrating the mind and manipulating perception, a technique as subtle as it was powerful.
Lastly, they moved toward the pet section. Naruto's eyes sparkled with excitement as he looked at the various animals. The Hokage gently suggested that Naruto could pick a pet if he wanted. Naruto seemed stuck between a fish tank full of colorful fish and a pair of kittens, one is black and one is orange. Sensing his indecision, the Hokage generously said, "You can have both, Naruto."
With a wide smile, Naruto picked out a large tank, big enough to house a vibrant community of fish. They added a sucker fish, a small shark, and a few other colorful species. Along with the fish, they got all the necessary supplies – a water filter, fish food, decorative pieces, and a net for cleaning.
For the kittens, they picked out two cozy beds, a litter box, a scratching post, litter, and a couple of adorable toys. They also selected high-quality cat food and treats, ensuring the kittens would have a nutritious diet.
To keep the house stocked, they ventured into the grocery section, loading up on a variety of foods. Fresh fruits and vegetables, grains, dairy products, and a selection of Naruto's favorite ramen noodles all found their way into the cart. Essentials like cooking oil, spices, sugar, and flour were added, as well as beverages and snacks.
With the shopping finally completed, the Hokage called upon a sealing jutsu, an advanced form of ninjutsu. He summoned a scroll and with a swift hand seal, all the purchased items were sealed inside, greatly reducing their size and weight. The Hokage then handed the scroll to Itachi, who stowed it away safely.
Before they left, Itachi turned his gaze back to the store owner, his Sharingan now blazing with a different intent. He cast a genjutsu, a technique distinct from the earlier mind-altering genjutsu. The room shimmered as he manipulated the natural energy around them, casting a subtle but powerful illusion. The owner found himself frozen, unable to move or speak, his mind filled with a deep regret for how he had treated Naruto. It wasn't a permanent state, just a brief lesson on respect that would wear off in time.
"Is this okay, Naruto?" The ThirdHokage asked, his voice gentle as they left. Naruto nodded, his eyes wide and sparkling with joy and anticipation.
The day had been long, but Naruto was still excited about the prospect of visiting more places with the Third Hokage and crow. They had just left the previous store, and the old man had informed Naruto that they had two more places to visit. Naruto was curious about where they were headed next, and the Third Hokage didn't keep him waiting for long.
"Alright, Naruto. We're headed to a place called the Yin-Yang Weapon and Gear Shop," announced the Third Hokage with a small smile.
Naruto's eyes widened, and he looked up at the Hokage in awe. He had never heard of such a place before, and it sounded fascinating. The Third Hokage continued, "The owner is a very kind man, and he has some of the best equipment in the village. He's also a friend of mine, so he'll take good care of us."
As they made their way to the shop, Naruto couldn't help but feel a sense of anticipation building up inside of him. He wondered what kind of things they would find there, and what kind of person the owner would be. The shop itself was located in a small alleyway, and Naruto could see that it was made of dark wood with a sign hanging above the door that read "Yin-Yang Weapon and Gear Shop".
Upon entering, Naruto was taken aback by the sheer amount of weapons and gear on display. There were racks of shuriken, kunai, and other ninja tools. There were also swords, staffs, and other training weapons. The walls were lined with various types of armor, and there were even some strange-looking contraptions that Naruto had never seen before.
The owner of the shop was a tall, muscular man with a kind smile and an easy-going demeanor. He greeted them warmly, and his eyes lit up when he saw Naruto. "Hello there! What can I do for you?" he asked, crouching down to Naruto's level.
Naruto was a little shy at first, but he couldn't help but be drawn to the man's friendly energy. He noticed that the man had a small scar above his right eyebrow, which made him look even more rugged and tough. The man's name was revealed to be Roshi, and he was delighted to meet Naruto.
As they browsed through the shop, the Third Hokage selected a variety of training gear for Naruto. He picked out a wooden katana, training chakram, wooden kusarigama, training staff, and various other weapons. Naruto was fascinated by all of the items, and he couldn't wait to try them out.
As they were leaving, Naruto noticed a picture of a strange weapon on the wall. It was a gunbai, and it looked like something out of a fantasy novel. The Third Hokage noticed Naruto's interest and explained what it was. Naruto was amazed, but the Hokage cautioned him that he would have to wait to own a real one until he was much older. For now, he would have to make do with training versions.
The owner then gave Naruto a special offer. "You're welcome back here any time, Naruto. And when you come, I'll give you a discount on anything you want to buy." Naruto was thrilled, and he couldn't wait to come back and visit the shop again.
As they left the shop, Naruto felt a sense of excitement and satisfaction. He had new gear to train with, and new things for his new apartment. He looked up at the Third Hokage with a happy smile and said, "Thanks for taking me here, old man. This was the best day ever!"
Apologies for the confusion earlier. Here's a revised version that focuses on the specific scenes you mentioned:
The Third Hokage handed Itachi a scroll, that contained a collection of Naruto's clothes and gear. Itachi carefully received the scrolls, understanding the importance of their contents. The Hokage explained their purpose, emphasizing the need to set up Naruto's new place and ensure he had everything he needed. Itachi nodded, a sense of responsibility guiding his actions.
Leaving the third Hokage and Naruto, Itachi made his way to the apartment assigned to Naruto. Carrying the scrolls, he walked through the bustling streets of the village, his mind focused on the task at hand. Itachi arrived at the apartment building and ascended the stairs, his steps determined and purposeful.
Inside Naruto's apartment, Itachi unrolled the first scroll, revealing a detailed list of items required for the young boy's new home. With meticulous care, he began setting up the kitchen, bathroom, and various pieces of furniture, ensuring that everything was in its proper place. Each item was positioned with thoughtfulness, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment for Naruto.
Meanwhile, the Third Hokage took Naruto to Ramen Ichiraku, a popular restaurant in the village. The delicious aroma of freshly cooked ramen greeted them as they entered. The Hokage introduced Naruto to his new neighbors, Teuchi and Rukia, who owned the restaurant.
Rukia, with her striking black and grey hair, resembled Ayame, her daughter. Her warm smile and kind eyes immediately put Naruto at ease. Teuchi, a friendly and jovial man, welcomed Naruto with open arms, offering him a seat at the counter.
As Naruto sat down, the tantalizing scent of steaming ramen bowls filled the air. Teuchi skillfully prepared a special meal for Naruto, catering to his young taste buds. The bowl of ramen was filled to the brim with savory broth, tender noodles, and an assortment of delectable toppings.
Naruto eagerly dug into the bowl, savoring the flavors and relishing the comfort of the warm broth. The Hokage and Teuchi engaged in light-hearted conversation, discussing Naruto's new home and the adventures that awaited him. Rukia joined in, her voice infused with warmth and genuine interest.
As the meal reached its conclusion, the third Hokage rose from his seat, signaling that it was time to depart. Naruto thanked Teuchi and Rukia for their hospitality, a wide smile on his face. The sense of belonging he felt in their presence filled him with hope and gratitude.
The third Hokage and Naruto bid farewell to their new friends, leaving the restaurant with happy hearts and full stomachs. They walked side by side, the Hokage guiding Naruto through the streets of the village, assuring him that he was not alone.
Naruto and the Third Hokage arrived at the apartment building, their footsteps echoing through the quiet hallway. Naruto, full of youthful energy at the tender age of four, couldn't help but let out an exuberant shout as they made their way up to the upper apartments. The sound drew disapproving looks and mumbled complaints from some neighbors, who were unaccustomed to such exuberance.
Reaching the top floor, they stood before the entrance of the first door. As the door swung open, Naruto's eyes widened in wonder. Before him stretched a vast expanse, an entire floor transformed into one gigantic apartment. The Third Hokage, his face etched with a mix of nostalgia and sadness, revealed that this was once the home of Naruto's parents.
Overwhelmed with excitement, Naruto bombarded the Third Hokage with an endless stream of questions about his parents. Who were they? What were they like? Where had they gone? His curiosity knew no bounds, and he yearned for answers that only his guardian could provide.
The Third Hokage listened patiently, his gaze filled with both warmth and sorrow. He answered some of Naruto's questions, sharing glimpses of his parents' remarkable qualities—their bravery, their unwavering loyalty, and the boundless love they held for their son. However, there was one secret that he held back, one answer that he hesitated to reveal.
As Naruto's inquiries continued unabated, the Third Hokage placed a gentle hand on the young boy's shoulder. His voice, firm yet gentle, resonated with wisdom. "Naruto, my dear child, there is much for you to learn," he began. "Your parents were extraordinary individuals, and their story is intertwined with the destiny of our village. But the time for revealing their identities will come when you are older, when you can bear the weight of their legacy. Until then, you must trust in my guidance."
Naruto, though disappointed, nodded in understanding. He trusted the Third Hokage's judgment and believed that one day, the truth would be unveiled. With newfound determination, he vowed to grow stronger, to become a ninja who could protect the village his parents cherished.
Seeing Naruto's resolve, the Third Hokage smiled warmly and reached into his robes. He pulled out a carefully folded piece of parchment—a training schedule. Handing it to Naruto, he said, "Naruto, training is an essential part of becoming a ninja. I have prepared a schedule for you, outlining the skills you will learn and the tasks you will undertake. You will start your training with a team of Anbu, who will guide you on your path. When Danzo and I can, we will also train you."
Naruto's eyes sparkled with anticipation as he clutched the training schedule in his small hands. The weight of responsibility mingled with excitement as he realized that his journey had just begun. With the Third Hokage and the team of senseis as his guides and a promising future ahead, Naruto embraced the path that lay before him, ready to face any challenge that came his way.
And so, with the training schedule in hand, Naruto set off on his first steps towards becoming a powerful ninja. The apartment, once a symbol of his parents' past, now held the promise of his own future. As he walked beside the Third Hokage, a sense of purpose filled his heart, and he knew that he would honor his parents' legacy by forging his own path of strength.
Later that night, Naruto found himself tossing and turning in his nice-sized bed, plagued by the recurring nightmare that had haunted him since his days in the orphanage. The dream took him back to his earliest memories, starting when he was just one year old, and continued to torment him every night, with the addition of the mob attack that occurred recently.
In the dream, the first part depicted other children at the orphanage, forming a cruel circle of exclusion around Naruto. They refused to let him celebrate their birthdays, leaving him feeling isolated and rejected. The scene then shifted to Naruto's own birthday, where nobody showed any interest in celebrating with him. The pain of loneliness and abandonment weighed heavily on his young heart.
As the dream unfolded, Naruto's tormentors became more apparent. The other children at the orphanage, along with the head lady who oversaw them, called him hurtful names and subjected him to physical abuse. The days were filled with taunts and beatings, leaving Naruto feeling utterly helpless and broken. The cruelty seemed unending, with no hope of escaping the darkness that surrounded him.
The recurring nightmare then transitioned to a harrowing moment when Naruto was just four years old. On that fateful day, he was kicked out of the orphanage and left to fend for himself. In this part of the dream, Naruto would desperately search for food, scavenging through garbage bins to survive. The foul stench of the trash and the squealing sounds of rats beside him added to the horror and darkness of these moments. The pangs of hunger and fear became a constant companion, as uncertainty loomed about how he would find his next meal.
However, his desperate attempt to find sustenance would always turn into a terrifying chase when the mob discovered him. They labeled him a demon and cruelly proclaimed that he would die, relentlessly beating him as he tried to escape their clutches. Howls of rage and disgust filled his ears as the mob descended upon him, brutally attacking the helpless boy. Naruto would flee in panic, seeking any shelter to escape the angry crowd, but their numbers were too great. He stood no chance against the wrath of the merciless villagers.
Suddenly, Naruto abruptly awoke from the nightmare, his small body drenched in sweat. Trembling and gasping for breath, he glanced around the room, taking in the familiar sight of the oak furniture and pale blue walls that surrounded him. His wild eyes searched for any sign of danger before recognizing the comforting fact that he was safe in his own room. Still, the horror of the dream weighed heavily upon him, and fear crept into his mind about when the darkness would descend upon him again.
Determined to find solace, Naruto carefully maneuvered his way out of the bed, using the small steps beside it to reach the shelf. He gingerly retrieved the stuffed animal, clutching it tightly to his chest. The familiar presence of the plush toy provided a small measure of comfort amidst the recurring darkness.
With his precious nine-tailed fox in his arms, Naruto made his way back to the bed, carefully climbing the steps again. The softness of the sheets enveloped him as he settled back under the covers. Holding the stuffed animal close, he found solace in its presence, a symbol of the strength and resilience he longed to possess.
Knowing that the nightmare would likely return again the following night, Naruto closed his eyes and tried to calm his racing thoughts. With the stuffed nine-tailed fox by his side, he embraced the hope of finding peace in his dreams, even if it remained elusive in his waking life. Determined to overcome the pain of his past, Naruto drifted back to sleep, hoping for a more peaceful rest, if only for a little while.
The next morning, Naruto woke up, the remnants of the unsettling images still lingered in his mind, causing a slight shiver to run down his spine. But as Naruto shifted in bed, he felt a weight on his chest and looked down to find his twin kittens nestled against him, their warm bodies providing a comforting presence.
The sight of his kittens so peacefully sleeping on him instantly eased Naruto's troubled mind. He reached out and gently stroked their soft fur, feeling a sense of tranquility wash over him. It was as if their presence had chased away the lingering shadows of his nightmare, replacing them with a soothing sense of security.
With a grateful smile, Naruto carefully lifted the kittens from his chest, allowing them to stretch and yawn before settling them back on the bed. He couldn't help but feel a surge of gratitude for their unconditional love and the way they always seemed to know when he needed comfort the most.
As Naruto got out of bed, his kittens playfully followed him, their tiny paws padding on the floor. Their presence served as a reminder that even in the face of darkness and fear, he was not alone. With his furry companions by his side, Naruto felt a renewed sense of strength and determination to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
Naruto put his nine-tailed fox stuffed toy on his bed. He put on his favorite orange t-shirt and blue shorts, sliding his sandals onto his feet.
Naruto then went into the bathroom to take a shower. After showering, he brushed his teeth and dried off.
Leaving his room, Naruto smelled food coming from the kitchen even though he lived alone. As he entered the dining room, a figure in a hooded cloak stood by the counter.
"Hello Naruto," a calm voice said.
Naruto froze. "Who are you?"
The figure pushed back their hood, revealing an ANBU mask bearing a turtle design.
Naruto gasped. "You're one of my new Senseis!"
The Turtle ANBU knelt down. "That's right," he said. "I'm here to start your training."
"After you eat first," the ANBU continued. "Then we will be going to one of the secret locations the Hokage set up for your training. There, I'll be telling you some rules that the Hokage wants me to tell you."
Naruto sat at the table where the ANBU had made him eggs and toast. He then got up and washed his plate before putting it in the dishwasher.
Before they left, Naruto carefully fed his fishes and two adorable kittens. He opened a can of fish food and sprinkled it into the aquarium, then poured some milk into two small bowls for the kittens.
Turtle noticed Naruto's affection for his pets and asked, "What are your cats' names?"
Naruto's face lit up with pride as he replied, "The orange one is Miso, and the black one is Soba! They're twins."
Turtle nodded and said, "Those are youthful names!" He gave a slight chuckle and smacked his mask lightly in approval. He had always admired Naruto's enthusiasm and determination.
After feeding Miso and Soba, Naruto scratched behind their ears and promised to come back soon. Turtle and Naruto then headed towards one of the village's secret training grounds, hidden behind a large rock formation.
