Victor was the only (living) grandparent Paige's kids ever knew. Sam was basically a non-factor, stopping by for occasional visits, but he and his daughter didn't have a relationship. So, when the twins were born, Victor dropped by the Matthews-Mitchell residence to meet his new granddaughters. "They're absolutely beautiful," he murmured in awe to Paige and Henry. He glanced down at the newborns in his arms. "Welcome to the world, Tamora and Kat Mitchell. It's so nice to meet you. You'll fit right in with the rest of the family."

Paige couldn't help but tear up. "Victor, we can't thank you enough for this. You don't have any obligations to us but you're still here and that means the world to me."

"Me too," chimed in Henry.

Kat cooed at him as Tamora continued sleeping. Victor shrugged off her thanks. "You don't have to thank me at all, kiddo, but you're welcome. You're Patty's daughter, my girls' sister, and my grandchildren's aunt. You're family and that's that." He grinned at her.

"You're a great guy, Victor. We appreciate everything you've done for us since we announced Paige's pregnancy." Henry leaned over to briefly kiss Paige, who laughed.

Victor chuckled when Kat reached up one of her tiny hands and poked him. "You got your old grandpa there, huh, Miss Kat? I'm available to baby-sit whenever you need me," he reminded them. He baby-sat Wyatt, Chris, Melinda, and PJ rather often, thriving in his role as their grandfather. Baby-sitting four magical children was pretty exhausting on a good day and adding two more would only make things worse but he didn't mind (much).

Kat started whining so Paige quickly grabbed her out of Victor's arms. "Somebody's hungry," she murmured. She stood up and made her way to the nursery, wanting to feed the newborn in private.

Henry checked over Tamora to make sure she was still fine, sighing in relief when she continued sleeping. "That's never going away now, is it?"

"Not ever," Victor confirmed. He rocked Tamora back and forth and wasn't surprising when she started fussing herself about ten minutes later.

"I got her." Henry scooped the baby up and headed to the nursery, leaving Victor alone for just a little while.

He kept himself occupied, musing to himself over the fact that he now had six grandchildren in total. Victor definitely wouldn't be surprised if Phoebe and Paige added to their families in the future (Piper and Leo were done) and pushed away the normal ache that flared up whenever he thought about Prue. He took comfort in the fact that Patty had confirmed to him that their eldest was at peace (and sometimes wreaking havoc whenever she got bored).

Victor was correct - Phoebe and Coop added two more daughters to their family while Paige and Henry welcomed a son. He hadn't quite expected nine grandchildren but he sure did enjoy the chaos that followed them, magic and all.

Six year old Tamora grabbed Victor's hand and tugged it. "Grandpa?"

Victor leaned down so he could talk to her on her level. "Yeah, sweetheart?"

"I know you're not Mommy's daddy but you still love us, right?"

"Tamora, I love you, your sister, and your brother with all my heart. As much as I love all your other cousins," he vowed.

Tamora's eyes widened. "Really?"

"Really." He ruffled her hair and stood back up, unsurprised when a jealous Kat latched on to his other hand.

Kat glared at her sister before smiling innocently at their grandfather. "Can we get some candy?"

"Nice try, little one." He only gave them candy when he was sending them back to their parents - he knew better than that, although it didn't stop the kids from trying.

"No fair. I want to hold Grandpa's hand!" Hal whined when he stopped the three of them.

Victor sat down, the girls following him. "On my lap, Henry."

A delighted Hal jumped up on his lap. Victor groaned but managed to smile when his grandson hugged him. "Thank you, Grandpa."

"You're welcome, kiddo."

"Can we go to the park?" Hal questioned hopefully, fluttering his eyelashes at him.

"Maybe later."

Kat fist pumped. "Park!" she shouted in delight.

"Park!" Tamora echoed.

Victor could only throw his head back and laugh, promising they'd go to the park later (but not clarifying when exactly that'd be). These three kids weren't biologically related to him but he loved them all the same. He spoiled them rotten, which tended to annoy Paige and Henry, but that was his prerogative as their grandfather.

He couldn't wait to see who these kids would grow up to become, what their destiny would comprise of in the magical and human worlds. This was one of many jobs Victor loved sharing with Patty, even though they didn't get to see each other as often as they'd like. Tamora, Kat, and Hal would always know that he loved them, biology be damned.
