Cranel Twins POV

Destiny, a captivating and enigmatic force. It's often compared to a locked door, unyielding and unchangeable. But is that truly the case?
This belief resonates strongly with the Cranel twins, as they traverse the vibrant streets of Lybirith City of Orario, exuding radiant smiles.

"Hey, Sis! You've got to think this through. Causing trouble like that won't go unnoticed by Mom, and you might just get a little Bonk on the head," gently admonished the young boy, his snowy hair contrasting with his fiery red eyes.

"I'll do as I please, brother! Besides, Mommy's not around to deliver any Bonking," retorted the petite elf. Her sky-blue eyes and green hair harmonized charmingly with the bib adorned with the letter "B."

Meet Bell Jr. and Lyuu Jr., the offspring of accomplished entrepreneurs Bell Cranel and Lyuu Cranel. What's captivating is how they mirror images of their parents in miniature form.

The elf girl is a spitting image of her mother, her resemblance uncanny. Meanwhile, the young boy is an exact replica of his father, like a finely crafted duplicate.

"Uh, our mom in this dimension? Remember what the old man with blue hair said when he gave us this device?" Bell Junior inquired; frustration evident in his voice as he gestured towards the plastic-like gun emitting a green glow at his sister's waist. He was clearly grappling with his spirited sister's demeanor.

"Heh! Doubt it! I'd bet Mommy won't... WAIT, IS MOMMY HERE?" The elf's eyes widened with a mixture of astonishment and enthusiasm.

"Yeah, and Dad's here too. But they'll be younger versions of themselves," clarified the white-haired boy.

"REALLY? Why are we wasting time, then? Let's not delay!" The elf girl seized her brother's arm with eagerness, a fervent desire to encounter their youthful parents in this enigmatic dimension.

"Wait!"

After inquiring for nearly an hour, the twins managed to locate their mother's current workplace: the Hostess of Fertility, a bar frequently visited by adventurers.

"Do you think it's a good idea, sis? What if Mom is busy? What if she doesn't recognize us?" Bell Jr. pondered; his voice laced with uncertainty. As they walked through the bustling city, adventurers with weapons passed by them, while various stores and stalls lined the sidewalks. In the distance, a towering structure stood.

"Nonsense, bro! Mommy would never forget us. Nope, not in a million years," Ryuu Jr. retorted with an adorable and endearing expression. "Although I must admit, this place gives me the creeps. It's so different from our world." The elf girl added, her tone reflective.

The world they currently resided in was Japan, a country on a planet called Earth, where demihumans and humans coexisted without the aid of magic.

"You're right, sis. The people here seem very strong, with magic... just like the old man said," chimed in Bell Jr. "But I suppose you're right, sis. Mom would never forget us. After all, she promised to love us in every world."

The boy smiled as he recalled the tender words their mom had shared with him, her twin sister, and their dad. Ryuu, their mother, was undoubtedly a loving and caring parent.

but Ryuu was not only a loving and caring mother but also a devoted and affectionate wife. The way they observed their mother's love and care for their dad, Bell, filled the Cranel twins with immense joy. Ryuu would often exhibit a nurturing attitude towards their father, mirroring the same tenderness she showed to both of them. This dynamic warmed the hearts of the siblings.

"Hey, sis, do you think Mom and Dad are married in this world?" Bell Junior inquired of his sister.

"Yep! I'm a hundred percent sure, bro! I know Mommy! She'd fall for Dad the first time she lays eyes on him," Ryuu Jr. responded with a dreamy gaze.

Despite their father's occasional Denseness, their mother remained exceptionally patient. Not that she would be the one pursuing him, but she would encourage their dad to confess, just as she had done before.

"Hey, sis," Bell spoke once more. "Do you believe what Aunt Kaguya, Aunt Lyra, and Aunt Alise told us about Riveria Jr. being our half-sister?" he inquired.

"Yep... why?" the little elf responded with a neutral tone.

"Huh? It means Dad cheated!" Bell Jr. exclaimed, his voice conveying a sense of betrayal.

"Not true, brother!" Ryuu Jr.'s expression turned smug. "Mommy gave Dad permission to take Miss Alf as his third wife!" she clarified.

"That's nonsense, sis! How did you find out?!" Bell Jr. questioned.

"I overheard them talking about it for weeks, dummy!" the elf girl retorted, playfully bonking the white-haired boy's head. "Remember, I always sleep with them in the middle of their bed while you have your own room? They discuss it before breakfast, and I always pretend to be asleep while eavesdropping. Heh!" She wore a smug expression, clearly pleased with her cleverness.

"I hope you're right, sis. I hope you're right."

The Cranel Twins eventually arrived at the entrance of the Hostess of Fertility, only to find that it was unfortunately closed at the moment. However, they spotted a barmaid with distinct grey and silver hair busy cleaning the front of the bar. It was Syr. Although they were familiar with her from their world, they chose to pretend not to recognize her.

"Hi, miss..." Bell Jr. began.

"Oh, what do we have here?" the silver-haired girl purred in a cute and seductive voice as she leaned closer to the white-haired boy, her eyes twinkling. "What's your name, mister?" she inquired with a playful tone.

"Uhhhh, Junior," he. replied lying, his voice tense. "And yours?" he asked.

"Hmmmm, Syr flover. But just call me Syr," the maid replied with a seductive smile.

"Uhh, nice to meet you, Miss Syr," Bell Junior stammered, scratching his head. "By the way, would you happen to know where Mo—I mean, Miss Ryuu is?" he added nervously.

"Hmm, interesting," the maid mused. "Follow me," she said, setting aside her broom and motioning for the twins to follow her.

"How about you, little missy? What's your name?" Syr then walked alongside the small elf as they made their way to the restaurant where Ryuu Jr was.

"Alise," she also lied, delivering her response with a confident smile, unlike her brother.

"Hmmm, interesting."

Ryuu POV

As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a warm, early evening glow over the city of Orario, a different rhythm began to take hold.

While in most cities, the fading light signals the end of the day and prompts people to retire for rest, this was not the case for the inhabitants of Orario, and especially not for the skinny elf, Ryuu Lion, renowned as the Gale. Her night was only just beginning.

Nestled in a private chamber within a restaurant exuding a romantic ambiance, designed for couples seeking intimacy, the beautiful green-golden-haired elf found herself in the company of a man.

"Mmmmm, hmmm, Ru-San, I had no idea you were such a skilled kisser," the man murmured, his lips fervently locked with hers while his hands explored her form with undeniable hunger.

"Ah, ahh, hmmm, you're quite the kisser too, Mr Hal," Ryuu managed to respond amid their passionate embraces.

Hal, Ryuu's date for the evening, is a wolf-human with relatively long black fur, adorned in a slightly disheveled black kimono. Ryuu, the elf, had only met him the previous week.

According to Hal, he hails from the far east but lives the life of a constant traveler, indulging in the pleasures of women, wine, and smoking. With his undeniable Casanova charisma, he effortlessly enchanted the elf, Ryuu.

However, Ryuu wasn't in love with him, not in the slightest. In the preceding year or two, Ryuu had been on dates with an array of men from different races and ethnicities: humans, demihumans, elves, Wolfmen, Japanese reincarnators, Pallums—heck, she even included old coots in the mix. Hal, or Halibel, was just another name on her roster of companions for enjoyment—a mere fling. They were her distractions, a means for her to move forward from the one who had slipped through her fingers.

The One That Got Away.

Ever since the love of her life had turned her away and married his true love, the skinny elf had been swallowed by an unending abyss of despair. Even now, the ache persisted tears continued to trace down her cheeks each night, and the haunting "what ifs" resounded ceaselessly in her mind. She found herself trapped within a suffocating sea of melancholy, unable to break free from its grasp.

Yet, amidst her sorrow, she stumbled upon an unusual coping mechanism: going on dates with various men, immersing herself in their company, and sharing fleeting connections. It was an odd way of dealing with her pain—a momentary respite from her relentless thoughts and a fleeting escape from her torment. The tender embraces and warm cuddles they offered became her fleeting solace. When coupled with the comforting embrace of wine, it appeared to momentarily drown the searing ache of her unrequited love.

A former fox girl courtesan had once confided in her, revealing the key to mending a shattered heart: immerse herself in dating a multitude of men, especially those of the Casanova ilk. Initially skeptical, she now found herself pondering if perhaps Renard was right all along.

"Ah, ah," the wolf man murmured, his lips now trailing along the curve of the elf's neck, leaving a trail of teasing licks and gentle suction. "Your skin is so incredibly soft, and your fragrance is utterly intoxicating, Ru-san," he purred, his voice dripping with lust. Embracing her from behind, he wound his hands and leg around her, drawing her closer into his embrace.

However, Ryuu didn't share the same sentiment. The wolf man's aroma was unpleasant, an unwashed stench emanating from his fur. His breath carried a constant odor of rancid decay, likely a mix of alcohol and tobacco. While Ryuu had put thought and preparation into this date, it seemed that Hal hadn't made much effort. Adding to her discomfort, she could sense a certain hardness pressing against her rear.

"Baby, ah! Let's find a more secret and private place to take this to the next level!" Hal sighed, his hand gently stroking the elf's body.

"Ah! I don't think that's a good idea, Mr. Hal. After all, we've only just met," Ryuu shuddered. She wasn't ready for such intimacy; it wasn't in her plans for the foreseeable future.

"Heh! Let's see about that, Ru-San!" the wolf man responded with a grin. He once again caressed the elf's body and passionately kissed her ear and neck, this time infusing his gestures with more romance and vigor.

Engaged in their lovey-dovey activities, they remained oblivious to the quiet opening of the door to their private room.

"Mommy?!" a small girl's voice echoed through the room.

"Ekkkk!" Ryuu let out an immediate shriek, swiftly disentangling herself from the wolfman beside her. She then shifted her attention toward the origin of the voice.

"Huh?" she muttered, her expression a mix of confusion and surprise.

Before her stood her friend Syr, dressed in her customary barmaid attire. However, as Ryuu's gaze wandered further, she noticed that Syr was accompanied by two children.

There was a young boy with white hair and red eyes, attired in a maroon tuxedo. The boy seemed strangely familiar, resembling someone special who held a cherished place in Ryuu's heart. Additionally, it was evident that the boy was on the verge of tears.

Beside him was another child, an elven youngster with golden-green hair and sky-blue eyes. She wore a white long-sleeved shirt, a bib with an adorable 'B' on it, and a green skirt. Strikingly, this young elven girl bore a remarkable resemblance to Ryuu.

"Mommy!" the elven girl exclaimed, her eyes welling up with tears, teetering on the brink of an emotional outpour. "How could you... betray our family by cheating on Daddy? How could you do this?" Her eyes filled with tears, her distress evident as she began to sob, the white-haired boy joining her in heartfelt tears.

Before Ryuu could utter a word, Syr interjected.

"Hey Ryuu, I encountered your kids with Bell. I'm not sure how, but they've ended up here! Surprise!" Syr quipped, though her humor fell flat as mini-Ryuu and mini-Bell continued to cry.

"Whoa, hold on! This is a misunderstanding!" protested the wolfman as he stood abruptly, a flustered expression on his face. "I can vouch that Ru-san is single and Chi—AHHH!" His explanation was abruptly halted.

"SHUT UP! ARGOVESTA! ARGONAUT!" Mini-Ryuu chanted, her voice brimming with fury. Just like that, an intense firebolt shot forth, her hands striking the wolfman and sending him stumbling knocking him cold. "Don't you dare lay your dirty hands on my mommy! Only daddy can do that!" she declared with an unyielding fierceness in her eyes.

Ryuu stood in stunned silence, processing the surreal scene unfolding before her. Her children with Bell? It seemed utterly implausible; after all, Bell was already married to Ais. Yet, the undeniable truth lay before her – the two kids bore a striking resemblance to both her and Bell respectively. Strangely, an intense wave of affection and love surged within Ryuu, a profound connection that transcended logic.

As the two children continued to sob, their tears tugging at Ryuu's heartstrings, an overwhelming urge enveloped her. She felt an inexplicable need to be their mother, to envelop them in an embrace of comfort and solace, even if the situation defied all rationality.

With tears welling in her eyes, Ryuu stepped closer to the children, driven by an instinctual urge to offer comfort, to coax smiles onto their tear-stained faces, and to gently wipe away their sorrow but-

"NO, DON'T TOUCH ME!" Mini-Ryuu's voice trembled with a mixture of anger and anguish, her words cutting into Ryuu's heart like a blade. "You're not our mommy!" Her accusations were sharp and piercing. "Mommy Ryuu would never betray us or Daddy like this! Go away!" With her piece said, Mini-Ryuu turned and dashed off, Mini-Bell following suit.

"Wait!" Ryuu's desperate plea filled the room, her voice thick with emotion as tears streamed down her cheeks. She needed to do something, anything, to bridge this inexplicable gap.

"Tsk, you've found yourself in quite the situation, Ryuu," Syr remarked, her tone laden with sympathy.

"I'm sorry," Ryuu's voice trembled as remorse colored her words, a sense of helplessness washing over her.
