"801 David Is My Name" - a chronicle of an alternate/parallel universe, different from EarthPrime.
Characters within alternate, parallel universes are similar to and different from their counterparts.
Readers are encouraged to be, or become, familiar with:
- Star Trek, The Next Generation [ST-TNG], especially planets Romulus, Vulcan, Qo'noS/Kronos (Paramount).
- The Owl House (Disney). Episodes and extracts from Disney's The Owl House.
- Episodes and extracts from The Twilight Zone (Viacom-CBS and Warner Bros).
- WWII carriers, battleships, ships: supply, medical, troop, etc. (Discovery and History channels).

A few M-Class planets are within The Demilitarized Corridor or Demilitarized Zone, often nicknamed the Neutral Corridor or Neutral Zone. Planets with oceans, seas, islands everywhere, continents, peninsulas. Landmasses with tundras, savannas, forests, plains, polar caps, lakes, and rivers.

Ambassador, without portfolio, Roland's abridged translation and conversion into EarthPrime vocabulary and measurements.
This short story resonates only with 4th Group churches.

Jonathan's son, Richmond Baughmann, makes his way onto the podium, then to the lectern, and begins.

"Not many wise were called by our Great God; however, David was called.
Not many noble were called by our Great God; however, David was called.
Not many mighty in body or soul were called; however, David was called.

Where else in this universe would somebody be named Moises David?
His wife: Marilyn. Wherever he went, he politely, quietly, mono-toned:
'David is my name.' 'Please, just call me David.'
[Smiling briefly] To my knowledge, those who knew him and of him did not often use his other names.

David often readily conceded our Great God called:
Weak of the world.
The base of the world.
The despised of the world.

David admitted quite often:
The weakness of our Great God is stronger than any person.
The foolishness of our Great God, wiser than any person.
Even the wisdom of any person is to God but foolish.
And he always included himself.

A sober time to be sure, a questioning time to be sure, a thought-provoking time to be certain.
For many families, friends, and so on, death is a sorrowful and fearful reminder that life can end.
What happens after death? To the one who died? To those still living? Questions do not always have easy answers.

[Pausing a few moments, then with a quiet yet powerful clarion voice, continues.]

The HOLY, MIGHTY, MAJESTY, our FATHER, Who cannot lie nor go back on Word or Promise,
The KING of Kings, LORD of Lords, PRIEST of Priests, Who cannot lie nor go back on the Word or Promise,
He has the best of David, his soul, everything but the physical body, under the THRONE of the LIVING GOD.

Not just that soul, instead, all the souls of the Imputed Righteous, the massive cloud of witnesses,
also are under that Throne, all awaiting 'joyfully and anxiously' The First Resurrection.

Yes, we grieve. Yes, we sorrow. Yes, we will have many sad moments as we continue; press on.
We will also recall many wonderful, exciting, ordinary, and mundane times with David.
And, let us remember, often, that the LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS, the FAITHFUL AND TRUE,
brought us Word and Promise of many things to come in our respective Eon - our Age,
and in the Eons, Ages, yet to come.

As on EarthPrime, so also here,
the first of the two Corinthians Scrolls record this Word from our Great God:
Christ is risen from the dead and has become the Firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
For since by man came death, by The Son of Man also came the resurrection of the dead.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ, Son of God, Son of Man, all shall be made alive.
But each one in his own order, Christ the firstfruits, afterward those who are Christ's at His coming.

Further down, again in the first of the two Corinthians Scrolls:
I declare to you, brothers, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God, nor does the perishable inherit the imperishable.

I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet.

The trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed.

The perishable must clothe itself with the imperishable, and the mortal must clothe itself with immortality.
When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable and the mortal has been clothed with immortality.
Then the saying that is written will come true [Paused for a moment]:
Death has been swallowed up in victory."

Thessalonians, the first of the two Scrolls, records:
I do not want you to be ignorant, brothers and sisters,
concerning those who have fallen asleep,
lest you sorrow as others, who have no hope.

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, God will bring with Him those who sleep in Jesus.
For this, we say to you by the Word of the Lord:
We who are alive and remain until the coming of the Lord will by no means precede those who are asleep.

For the Lord, Himself will descend from heaven with a shout,
with the voice of an archangel and with the trumpet of God,
And the dead in Christ will rise first,
then we who remain alive shall be caught up with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.

We shall always be with the Lord. [After a pause] Therefore, comfort one another with these words.

Allow me, please, to give something that is not often offered at a funeral service.

Even though the Revelations Scroll has the Word of our Lord aimed at seven churches or their eras,
as you hear these words, let us realize they apply to:
Everyone who claimed in the past.
Everyone who claims presently.
Everyone shall exclaim in the future:
Jesus The Christ as Lord, Master, and, very importantly, Savior. Emmanuel, God is with us!

[He leaves out the phrase 'to the churches' to drive home the point that the LORD also was talking to every one of His.
He paused a little between each phrase to emphasize the Promises made by our Great God.]

[Ephesus-1] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome, I will give to eat from the tree of life, which is in the Paradise of God.

[Smyrna-2] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome, they shall not be hurt by the second death.

[Pergamos-3] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome, I will give them some hidden manna to eat.
And I will give them each a white stone, and on each of those stones,
new names are written, which no one knows except those who receive them.

[Thyatira-4] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome and keep My works until the End,
to them, I will give power over the nations,
to rule the nations with a rod of Correction and Admonishment.
Disobedient nations' Rebellions shall be dashed to pieces like the potter s vessels.
And, as I also have received from My Father:
I will also give each of them the morning star.

[Sardis-5] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
Those who overcome will be clothed in glowing, radiant garments.
I will not blot out their names from the Book of Life,
instead, I will confess that their names are before My Father and His angels.

[Philadelphia-6] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome, I will make them pillars in the temple of My God,
and they shall go out no more.

Onto each person, I will write the name of My God,
And the name of the city of My God, the New Jerusalem, comes down out of heaven from My God.

And, upon each person, I will write My new name.

[Laodicean-7] Who has an ear, hear what the Spirit says:
To those who overcome, I will grant to sit with Me on My Throne,
as I also overcame and sat down with My Father on His Throne.

I'm sure all of you have heard about or read about the great cloud of witnesses awaiting the First Resurrection.
Allow me to return to the first of the two Corinthians Scrolls.

As on EarthPrime, so shall it be anywhere and everywhere else.

When He puts an end to all temporal, physical rule and all authority and power.
He must reign with Correction and Admonishment until all enemies are under His feet.
The last enemy that will be destroyed is death.

Then, as the first of the two Corinthian scrolls records:
Comes the End of all that has gone on before.
When He, Emmanuel, KING of Kings, LORD of Lords, delivers the kingdom to God the Father.

After a few other events during the service, a reception is held in another large room.
Somewhere within the Sciences & Philosophy Hall, in the distance, somewhere else,
six enter, then six leave. [The Chronicles, sometime in the future, again,
will record: six would enter, then six would leave.]

Richmond and Lizbeth Baughmann were preparing to leave in a small conference room.
Suddenly, they were not alone in the room.

"I am Zeldandor. I was sent to give you a message from the Creator,
The One, you call the Holy Mighty Majesty, wants to reveal something to you both."

A 3D vision appears before them. A very huge crowd of very much alive, clothed in imperishableness,
in immortality, obviously a vision of a future event.

Richmond and Lizbeth recognized some - even though their appearances indeed differed.
Quietly saying several names, they not only see the new David,
but they also see Jonathan and Ellen Baughmann glowing with extreme joy amidst the many, many others.

Zeldandor [quietly, gently]: "Just as the mantle passed from Elijah to Elisha,
the mantle has passed from Jonathan to you, Richmond. Go forth with Godly confidence."

Suddenly, they were alone in the room again.
Sadness because now both parents have passed.
At the same time, they felt great joy because both parents are now within the Great Cloud of Witnesses.
They left for home.

Some have gone to other places a few hours later, and others have gone to their homes.

Time has passed.

A page out from somewhere floated across the street,
Marilyn picked it up, brought it inside, and laid it on the small side table.

Later, while relaxing to her favorite music, she picked up the page, un-wrinkled it,
and could see it was out of a philosophy and science magazine.
Beneath one of their better pictures together was this:
The Father and Son paid our debt.
For which They did not owe.
And the Father and Son gave us life.
For which we could never pay.

As a flood of beautiful memories began passing through her mind,
one fleeted through, in her mind, David's quiet voice was heard,
gently informing several others in a tiny group, '...my name is...
Then, she heard herself, firmly yet softly saying,
"David."
