Chapter 34: Lovers remarried

Note: Sweeney and Lucy are being married once more or should I say Mason Marcus and Lucy are being married. Anthony and Johanna make their announcement too. We will even get some honeymoon fluff as well this chapter, but nothing graphic or anything. This is the last chapter before the final arc begins. How do you think Sweeney will handle the announcement. Let's start with Anthony's POV.

(Anthony's POV.) Stunned was an understatement. About three months had passed and we were getting ready for Mr Todd's remarriage with his wife. Johanna was wearing a blue bridesmaid dress with her hair down, it wasn't too revealing at all but fit her figure well. My current issue was the fact that she smiled as she caught me gaping at her. "Not very gentlemanly Anthony," she teased, smirking.

We had been gazing at each other for several minutes before she spoke. "Don't worry sir you in your best man outfit is having quite the effect on me too." We were at the local church, in a room next to the main room where Sweeney and Lucy were waiting. Mr Todd was still using the Mason Marcus name. Lucy was beautiful in her bride dress, but Johanna's beauty was, as far as I was concerned, rivaled by no one. "You better get out there Anthony."

I nodded as my brain started working. As I entered the main room, I swore I heard her mutter, "I can't believe a man could look that breathtaking." I entered the main room to see Sweeney and Lucy facing each other in front of the priest. It was a little unorthodox to have a wedding like this but they wanted to be remarried fast. I was nervous as I had no idea how Mr Todd would take me and Johanna's announcement. I did not want to face his razor.

It would not surprise me if he had it hidden in his groom's tuxedo somewhere. There were times I could see a bloodlust in his eyes that made my blood run cold. To be honest I had grown quite terrified of him. He at least seemed to gain some happiness from being reunited with Lucy and Johanna, but I felt his blood lust and hatred for the world would ever truly die. It was the time of the wedding when the bridesmaid would come out. I once again felt like I could not breathe as Johanna came out.

She looked ethereal as she handed me the rings and walked forward. I realized it was time for me to approach. The priest asked for the rings and I gave them. Me and Johanna seemed to have a hard time keeping our eyes from each other. Mr Todd kept flashing me annoyed looks. Johanna smiled whenever my gaze would meet hers, and we'd both turn red.

Sweeney and Lucy exchanged rings. The only thing I heard was the priest telling them, "I now pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride." Sweeney and Lucy gently pressed each other's lips together. They broke off after about a half a minute. "Oh Mr Mason we are married finally."

Sweeney grabbed Lucy and lifted her into his arms. Once we left the building Johana cleared her throat. Sweeney had just placed Lucy back on her feet as she did so. "Anthony and I have an important announcement to make. He and I have decided that we will marry one another soon." I braced myself for Sweeney's cold, bloodthirsty glare, but instead was met with a resigned look.

Lucy however looked ecstatic. She rushed over to her daughter and embraced her tightly. "Oh Johanna, my love I am so happy for you. Oh am I so happy for you. Sweeney put his hand on my shoulder. "I knew this day would come when I would have to let Johanna go despite just reuniting with her."

I felt pain shoot through my shoulder as he gripped it tightly. "If you ever harm her, or ever betray her in any way, I will hunt you down, even if I have to chase you to the ends of the earth, and my friends will taste your blood. This I swear to you." "I understand Mr Todd," I said, shivering because of the dark, almost evil, tone in his voice. I knew that that would truly be my last act on earth. He truly was a dangerous man.

I took a deep breath and stilled myself. Lucy rushed over to me and grabbed me tightly now. "You'll take care of her won't you?" "Yes, as well as I can." For her sake and mine. Sweeney walked over to Johanna.

"I feel like you have just returned to my life," he murmured. "I love you daddy, and we will always be able to see each other in the future." They hugged each other tightly. "If you'll both excuse me, I want some time with Lucy in our room alone." He walked over to Lucy and lifted her back up in his arms. She wrapped her arms around his neck, and kissed his cheek.

(Sweeney's POV.) I kicked the door open as I laid Lucy on the bed. "You're as beautiful as I remember," I said. "You drooled at our original wedding too," She said winking. She stood up and placed her hand on my cheek. "Though if you remember, you made me drool too. I felt so embarrassed, it was unladylike.

"We don't need to keep those things up in privacy," I told her, smirking. We embraced tightly and crushed our mouths together. I loved this woman, and still loved this woman more than the air I breathed. I dreamed of holding, talking, and kissing this woman for years, and now I could once more. We had to break apart to breathe. "I love you my Benjamin, my dear Benjamin."

"Do you think Johanna and Anthony are making the right choice?" I asked. "I have seen the way they look at each other. I look at you the same way she looks at him, You look at me the same way he looks at her." "He did everything he could to save her from Turpin," I admitted. "Then you know they will be good together." "This night is about us though isn't it?" I then asked.

"I am yours Benjamin." She whispered in my ear huskily. I growled as she said this. "And I am yours Lucy." We rammed our mouths together again, as we decided to do what everyone does on their honeymoon.

Note: OK next chapter will take place after a huge 4 year time skip. It will cover what happened after this chapter with everyone. But do not fret, the next chapter will still start the final arc as I promised. I hope I don't anger any Mrs Lovett fans with my idea.
