It was midday now, so the streets were lightly packed with travelers. It was optioned for Mitsumi to get pushed in front of them so she could greet and explain what her escort team was all about. Even Satoru was showing his approval and helping hand out treats to passing people.

"Can you do tricks?" a small boy asked Rendor.

"No. I'm not a pet. Would you ask your parents if they could do tricks?" Rendor asked. That got the kid blushing and running off. Rendor snorted and shook his head, but he was laughing.

"Friendly monsters?! Is this for real?!" a man asked on watching the small group move on by.

"Mumen Rider has to be under a monster spell!" a woman gasped.

"I can promise you that I am perfectly fine," Satoru chuckled and handed her a fortune cookie. "This restaurant will be amazing!"

"My kitty is in the tree!" a little girl cried and pointed to her small tabby kitten mewing on a branch. Zenchu was quick to walk over and simply pluck the poor animal from the branch from his intense height. He let his tail unwrap from his waist and he even took off the sunglasses to reveal that he was a monster. He was proving a point this way to show he meant no harm.

"Here you go," he nodded with a small smile and handed over the kitten.

"Thank you!" she beamed and hugged her pet before skipping off.

"That monster...helped a girl! Oh! I have never seen such a thing!" an older woman said with amazement.

"My family is good," Mitsumi nodded. "Zenchu, how much longer should we be out for?"

"Well, we were only out for about an hour. We could head back," he said.

"Look out!" a man shouted when a car got overturned by a monster resembling a pink blob.

"My name is Richoo! Fear me!" the blob monster shouted before pausing at the sight of Mitsumi and her small group. Saitama narrowed his eyes, but he didn't move from where he stood behind her small push cart.

"You poor thing. What happened to you?" Mitsumi asked.

"I should...!" Satoru started, but Saitama grabbed his arm to keep him calm.

"Wait..." Saitama said sternly. "Let her talk to it."

"What do you mean by what happened? I'm a monster! I'm strong!" Richoo boasted. "You should fear me!"

"How did it happen?" Mitsumi asked. "How did you transform?"

"How did I...wait..." the blob monster blinked. Now it looked down at itself and seemed to cringe. "No! I wasn't...supposed to...!"

"What's going on?" a young couple asked while they watched with shock.

"Can you tell me your story?" Mitsumi asked gently.

"I...was drinking...and I kept drinking...and then I got hungry and had some jelly...and then I...I woke up like this..." the monster remembered.

"A jelly monster?" Zenchu pondered the thought.

"Did you leave your family behind?" Mitsumi asked.

"My...wife...and daughter...I can't...I don't know if they would..." Richoo trembled and started to wail. "It's been a week...they know nothing! I...what do I do?! I mean...I don't know...what have I done to myself?! How did it happen?!"

"Oh...!" a young girl said on watching everything. Then she squeaked at the sight of Inichi hovering down to gently pluck up the newly freed monster with a glowing ball of blue.

"I will take him home so we can assess him further. We will help him find reason within his madness as you have with us, Lady Mitsumi," Inichi said reverently. Then he turned to throw up a shielding from various bullets that suddenly tried to spray at him. "I am not attacking! What is this rudeness for?!"

"Who attacks my child?!" Mitsumi gasped. Zenchu sighed and quickly moved her small cart to be in front of the culprit. Rendor snorted and only watched calmly to show he was simply observing.

"Death Gatling! Wait!" Satoru said quickly.

"Monsters are not tolerated at any time!" the tall man in heavy cloaks and spiked black hair spat out. He had his guns out and ready to fire again.

"Even if the Hero Association knows about them?!" Saitama said now. "You are acting out of stupid desperation at this point! Cut it out!"

"Who are you to say?! You're just a B class!" Death Gatling snorted.

"No! They are good!" the girl said and showed her kitten. "They helped me get my kitty back!"

"It's true. They haven't attacked us at all," another man said. Now that the crowd was there to vouch for them, the hero could only stare with shock. Saitama moved to stand in front of the small group now and he crossed his arms over his chest. He was ready to guard Mitsumi to the fullest. He may think she's a monster, too. He won't understand that she's a victim of one.

"We remember our lost humanity. Why would we attack anyone unless provoked?" Zenchu asked with a shrug. "We are not ones that just mindlessly attack. That's just a waste of strength now."

"No. I won't accept this! Monsters are monsters!" Death Gatling said and fired his bullets. When the smoke dissipated, his jaw could only drop. Saitama caught every single bullet and let them fall to the ground harmlessly. The crowd was shocked at this display of speed and had no idea that it could be done.

"I may be a class B hero. I may just be a hero for fun. But I know innocence when it stares me in the face," Saitama said with a hard glare. "If you can't accept that some monsters want nothing to do with destruction and want to become human again, then that's on you. But like hell am I going to watch them get killed for no reason!"

"Tell me," Mitsumi said when she got helped out of the small cart to stand on her own with her cane. She held up the green stalk with gentle white flower blossoms on it. "When you all see this, what do you feel? And so you know, this is not a real flower. Real ones would have wilted long ago, so it is made of silk."

"I feel...peace..." Zenchu said with a light smile.

"Alive..." Rendor sighed with comfort.

"I actually feel calm..." Satoru said.

"Oh...I feel...remorse..." Richoo said in his small bubble.

"Divine respect," Inichi said humbly.

"And you?" Mitsumi asked and looked at Saitama and Death Gatling.

"Protection," Saitama said sternly.

"I feel..." Death Gatling started and stopped.

:He feels shame...: Inichi silently told the others.

"If you feel anything other than anger, then you are true to yourself. You know who you are. It is a simple test that I do to prove that all are able to combat their own inner monsters. A symbol of peace and non-violent needs. You are a good man, young one. As good as everyone here. Please...do not forget that. These monsters regained their lost humanity! All they want to do is live with me in peace and serve the community. That's all," Mitsumi said in her frail tone.

Death Gatling was stunned at this. He had no idea that there were actual good monsters in the world now. He glanced over to see Genos running over to them in a mad dash to help confirm what was being said and done.

"Whoa! It's Demon Cyborg!" a boy said and pointed with excitement.

"Yes. These monsters are not evil at all. I have had the privilege of meeting them with Master Saitama, ah, Caped Baldy last night. They are true to their word. We already spoke with an important man from the Hero Association. We may be able to supply people in the form of food services. We will be monitoring this closely," Genos explained in depth.

"I didn't get it, either. But...I don't feel anything bad," Satoru said. "I actually feel like this can help all of us!"

"I don't know..." Death Gatling grunted and blinked at a call on his phone. On answering it, he found himself stammering. "Ah! Um...oh...okay..."

"Come by the restaurant later. You will see more proof. Anyone can stop by to see for themselves, too," Mitsumi said to him gently and to the crowd of watchers. Death Gatling looked at her after the call disconnected and frowned.

"We'll see. I was just ordered by the association that this...group of monsters...is non-threat level. For now. To watch for any signs of reversion. So...one wrong move..."

"And I'll be there to stop it," Saitama said calmly with a cold-edged glare. "You stay out of it. Your bullets are easy to catch."

Death Gatling's eyes widened when Saitama simply picked up a stray bullet on the ground by his foot and flick it at a group of trees lining the street. His jaw dropped again when they all split in half. Then the bald man turned to gently help Mitsumi back into the cart to get pushed back to the restaurant. The tall hero was still stunned. What did I just witness?! There were at least twenty trees in a single row! All split by one bullet! That's unheard of! That B class hero...why didn't I see this before...?

"Date night tonight?" Zenchu grinned at Saitama.

"Shut up!" he scowled to get the small group laughing. Mitsumi reached her hand out for Saitama, and he now moved to let her grasp it while they walked back. "Is something wrong?"

"This...bracelet..." she winced. He moved right in front of the path to stop them and pulled out her right arm to inspect the snake. He saw it was purposely tightening itself and causing her pain.

"Knock that off. Or I'll knock you out," he warned. "You see what I can do now. I will crush your head in if you keep this up."

"Not during the day," Zenchu muttered. Then he paused. "Shit. It wants to be killed during the day! To keep her old!"

"You hurt her? I hurt you!" Saitama growled and squeezed lightly on the back of the snake's neck. A hissing screech was heard now. It never knew pain. Now it did. "You hurt her again and I will hurt you again. Got it?!"

It loosened its grip considerably, but it didn't let go. Inichi was still carrying his new monster brother to the restaurant, but he was also gleaning the sudden thoughts from the tiny snake monster. He was livid, but he had to wait until nightfall to reveal things. He kept himself calm and focused. He knew he had to.

When he got to the restaurant, he let Richoo free to get confronted by Kianna. It was decided for him to try and help with the restaurant instead of going back to the apartment complex. His story was explained, and she welcomed him as a brother. Richoo agreed to help fix the restaurant right away and quickly got to work. He realized that his jelly-like skin was like a sponge for dirt. All he had to do was rinse himself off to remove the debris he collected.

"That is very useful!" Kianna beamed at him.

"Thanks. Maybe...being like this is what I need to be. I still have my mind, but..." Richoo sighed. She nodded and winked to show she fully understood. They both looked over to see Saitama's hand still grasped in Mitsumi's when they got in. He was guiding her to a chair and he was soon sitting next to her.

"How much longer are we here for?" Saitama asked.

"Probably another hour. We have to prepare for sunset," Zenchu nodded and sat with them. He glanced over at the small crowd of people peeking into the glass windows. He chuckled and waved at them. "Amazing."

"Well, we are showing that...not all monsters are bad. Apparently..." Satoru shrugged. "You don't kidnap anyone or cause riots."

"Nope. Waste of energy," Zenchu shrugged.

"Can we help?!" one of the young men asked at the slightly opened doorway. Rendor looked over and glanced at Zenchu in question.

"What all can you do?" Zenchu asked and rose up to talk him. He was pleasantly surprised that the young man was a promising building constructor. Another young woman did interior design for buildings. Arrangements were made for any others with building critique ideas to come by the next day to give them time to prepare. They got a full walk through of the restaurant, and the young man even suggested a specialized room for the Hero Association.

"Some like to be in the crowds, but there are others that prefer privacy. I can see how this would be beneficial," Genos nodded.

"Good! Be here around 10:00 in the morning. We will do more then," Zenchu nodded and waved them out. On glancing at Mitsumi finally showing signs of exhaustion, he gave the signal. "Time to go. Now."

"I will guard this place during the night," Genos nodded. Then he saw several security cameras suddenly get delivered by the Hero Association's drone. "Oh! I will install these and ensure I can see the surveillance myself."

"They really want to watch us. Don't they?" Rendor snorted.

"And they will be sorely disappointed that we will not attack anyone," Zenchu smirked and helped move Mitsumi into her traveling cart. Kianna, Orotsu, Richoo and Saitama showed they were ready to go.

"I'll help Demon Cyborg," Satoru nodded.

"Thank you," Mitsumi nodded elegantly as she left. "I'll make sure you get a good meal when we meet again."

"Oh! Thank you," Satoru chuckled. Zenchu was able to secure her in the push cart and was quick to start heading back to the apartment complex.

"We need to hurry," he muttered. Saitama yawned, but he followed them without missing a single step. He did, however, glance around his surroundings with full awareness. He knew the Hero Association was watching their every move now. He honestly didn't care. Maybe I should look into retirement...

:If I may intervene in your thoughts?: Inichi asked softly.

:I guess. What's up?: Saitama asked.

:I was...hoping to wait on this...but...that snake...when you hurt it, it gave out one thought. That Lady Mitsumi was its prey...:

:I. AM. KILLING. IT.:

:I am aware! However, we need to wait for the restaurant to be in full swing! There is no other option right now!:

:That's absolute crap! The moment she is made young, its dead! It's already HURTING her during the day!:

:I know! You think I don't know?! And we must think of what Kianna mentioned, too. Lady Mitsumi...her body may be reliant on the venom. We must see if this Child Emperor can assist us as Genos suggested. I would suggest that...if you are able...to allow us to wake you the moment that snake tries anything. I mean...I know you need rest...but...:

:The moment that thing does anything you wake me up!:

:Of course. It shall be done.: Inichi said and pulled away from Saitama's mind. He knew he had to say something. He also knew how the hero would react.

"Something wrong?" Zenchu asked Saitama as they got closer to the apartment complex. The hero let out a heavy breath to show he was pissed.

"Inichi told me something. The snake let out a thought. I'm pissed," Saitama ground out. Zenchu now narrowed his already slitted eyes.

"Do I want to know?" Zenchu asked. Now the others looked at Saitama.

"It sees her as prey..." Saitama said with a touch of rage. Now the monsters seethed at this, but it was all out of protection. "I was told to remain calm. It's...weird. Normally my emotions are out of place. Distant. I just...I hate seeing innocent people get thrown under the bus!"

"And with Lady Mitsumi?" Kianna asked.

"I don't know. I just met her. I know really nothing about her. But...I still need to protect her. It's why I said I only saw protection when she held up that flower. That's what I am. A hero for fun. But I'm a protector, too," Saitama sighed and shook his head. "There are times I just don't get it."

"And what do you hope to achieve tonight?" Zenchu asked.

"It's not a date!" he groaned to get the others laughing.

"I...wouldn't mind it..." Mitsumi murmured from where she was mildly sleeping in the push cart. Now Saitama looked at her with shock.

"When she's lucid like this, her youthful side is able to slightly come out. Not by much, but we know it's her that way," Kianna chuckled.

"Protector...is exactly...what you are..." she whispered out. Saitama kept glancing at her while he walked with them. His mind was spinning with thoughts and he had no idea what was happening.

Then he turned and held out his hand to block a sudden sword strike by catching the blade between his fingers. The pale, thin man in black with black hair and lightly sunken in eyes scowled at this. None of the monsters even knew the man was there.

"Oh. It's you. New sword? Not bad. I'm busy now. Please go away," Saitama said and released the sword.

"No! I, Speed-o'-Sound Sonic, will finally defeat you!" the man screamed.

"For what...purpose...?" Mitsumi whispered out. Now the man blinked at the frail voice. "Why...throw your...life away...? Pointless..."

"Yeah. You can think about that," Saitama nodded and simply waved as he walked on with the group. Zenchu simply smirked and continued to push Mitsumi down the path to the apartment complex. Rendor gave a small grunting growl, but only because he was watchful. Kianna and Richoo just seemed to cluck their tongues as they walked past the shadowy man. Even Orotsu let out a sigh of disappointment at the man while moving along on his tentacled limbs.

"What...just happened...?" Sonic blinked with complete confusion. "That whisper...those monsters...who...?"

Now he knew he had to find out. When he went to try and follow them, he suddenly jumped back when Kamiko appeared in front of him. She stood up tall and flicked out her long tongue to taste the air before regarding him.

"I'm not here to attack you. I am here to warn you. Do not follow us. Please. You don't know what you'll be in for if you do," she warned him softly. "We are the last ones that you want to piss off right now."

"Oh? Who says?" Sonic smirked.

"I do," Zenchu said from behind him and knocked him out.

"You had to go invisible with the shadows and stealth hit, eh?" Kamiko chuckled. "You rarely have to do that now."

"It's how I stayed alive and out of trouble for so long. Inichi, please move him to another city. We need to tend to Lady Mitsumi right now," Zenchu said and quickly moved off. A blue bubble gently formed and lifted the unconscious man up to take him to a completely different city. Even his weapons were gathered to keep all trace of him gone. After it was done, he moved straight to the room that Mitsumi was in. She was being cradled in Zenchu's arms again to show he was ready for her change.

The snake's eyes gave a dark flicker and it quickly struck at her wrist just as Inichi floated in to bear witness to her nightly change. He knew the snake couldn't fight this instinct to do it. This was why it was created. It had no choice. Right after it reformed into jewelry, Saitama had to fight the urge off to kill it right then and there. Inichi had to gently remind the strong hero to wait.

"Utter crap..." Saitama muttered. He shifted his gaze to Mitsumi when her body began to twist with pain. Zenchu shifted with her to keep her steady. For five minutes he helped her wrestle with the pain until she screamed from the pain of her body contorting again. Her bones straightened. Her skin became smooth and tight around her face and limbs. Her hair became a lush waterfall of black from the loosened bun. She gasped and whimpered softly when she finally came back around.

Then the door got kicked open to reveal an S class hero there. Saitama was the one to confront him and shove him out the door while shouting, "I'm sorry! Now is not the time!"

"Who?!" the blond haired body builder of a man in a blue tank top and long pants gasped and rose up. He found himself back on the ground of the complex to show he was shoved off the fourth floor of the apartment building. The strong hero found himself rising up quickly to assess what just happened. He found Saitama standing in front of the jarred door. "A girl screamed in there! I saw monsters! Are you protecting them?!"

"Damn straight I am!" Saitama said and crossed his arms over his chest. "These monsters are not evil. They are the ones the Hero Association said to leave alone. Blah, blah, blah. You should know the rest. The girl is undergoing a painful change from old to young. It's a long story. I'm not going to say it. Just don't come here again."

"Wait...they are the ones with the restaurant?" the strong hero blinked.

"That's what I just said," Saitama nodded. "They're cool with me. I'm cool with them. They're cool with everyone else. Leave them alone."

"Saitama?" a soft voice said behind him, and he turned to find Mitsumi in a kimono of dark pink rushing forward to hug him. Her hair was back up in the twin hair buns with sparkling Bao Bao crystal needles to hold them in place. She was shivering with relief that she was young again. "Thank you."

"Of course," he smiled lightly and found himself hugging her back. What's come over me? I feel so...weird...but...it's not bad at all...

"Ah...who...?" the strong hero started.

"Oh. Hello. I am Lady Mitsumi. During the day, I'm an old woman. At night, I'm my normal self in a younger form. My family and I will be running the restaurant soon. However, you did break my door. You need to fix it," she said calmly. The man's jaw dropped at the beautiful girl. "If you do not fix it, then I will report to the Hero Association. And who are you?"

"Oh! I'm Tanktop Master. And, ah, no! I'll...fix the door..." he said a bit sheepishly. "I just...got concerned is all..."

"See to it that you do," she said with a small frown. "Zenchu! Rendor! Kianna! We need to go. Tacki, please make sure this man fixes our door."

"He doesn't have to. We can fix it just fine," Tacki said on walking out to see her. "He can go about his way."

"Please have him leave!" Kamiko grumbled. "We just got this place cleaned up and repaired! Maybe we can make the door stronger..."

"I just heard reports that monsters were here! I didn't know..." Tanktop Master seemed to fumble around. When his phone rang, he answered it to scowl out hard. "Why didn't you tell me it was this complex to leave alone?! Ugh. Fine. I'll patrol another part of City Z. Bye."

"He did hear me scream," Mitsumi sighed at his vanishing form. "I'm not surprised that he would have wanted to investigate. I just didn't need him to break down my door."

"I know," Saitama nodded. He still hadn't let her go. She rested her head against his chest and sighed softly.

"So...where is this date night happening?" Zenchu chuckled when he walked out to join them.

"It's not a..." Saitama paused at Mitsumi's soft giggle. "Well...it...really isn't...I mean..."

"It doesn't have to be..." she said and looked at him.

"Yeah. It doesn't, huh?" he mused. "Okay. It's not a date."

"No. It isn't. So...you should let me go if it isn't. Right?" she grinned lightly. Now he looked at her with a puzzled expression.

"Just because it's not a date doesn't mean I need to let you move from my side," he said to get her laughing at him. He sighed and shook his head before looking at Zenchu. "I'll lead you to King's place. He's expecting us."

"Good. Let's go," Rendor nodded and Saitama led them away.
