Sorry this is a bit late. My sister's wedding is in a few weeks, and we're a bit busy with arrangements. Yesterday, dress fitting, followed by a migraine, followed by no internet.

Disclaimer: I don't own Hetalia.

PruTai: Trolling Game

"Are you kidding me?!"

Mei jumped. She quickly dried her hands and went to check on Gilbert. She saw that he had his Switch in his hands.

"What happened?" she asked.

"Okay, so you know how I had trouble finding a shiny Mudbray the other day?" Gilbert asked. Mei nodded. "Well, guess who I just found in a random encounter."

"Oh, that's great! Congratulations."

"…The game is trolling me."

"I thought you'd be happier about a shiny."

"…When I went to start the encounter to catch the Mudbray, I saw another shiny Mudbray spawn in. I swear, the game is trolling me."

Mei burst out laughing when she understood what exactly it was that had Gilbert exclaiming like that.

"I'm sorry," she said. "But it's just too funny!"

Gilbert pouted and turned off the Switch. He held it out to her.

"Do you want a turn?" he asked. "I already saved after catching both shinies."

"Don't you want to look for more shinies?" Mei asked.

"Not right now. I've already got five shinies today. Without the Shiny Charm. I'm going to go buy a lottery ticket now."

"Let's hope your shiny luck works on that too."

So, yeah, while playing Pokémon Scarlet, I got a Mudbray outbreak and it took a long while for the shiny to appear. Two days later, I got two shiny Mudbray within seconds of each other. Meanwhile, I don't have any of the other Pokémon on the route's shinies. This is not the first time that I said the game trolled me, but this is definitely one of the more prominent examples.
