A/N: Thank you for all the support so far, I'm really happy that the rewrite went better than I expected. Again thank you all.

Now to the Review section:

Kurogami Mikoto: Thank you for the review, I'm really happy to see a loyal reviewer here.

Bucio: Ah, I see. Good news for you, this chapter is a setup for that… sort of.

Well- O- Being: Oh you'd be surprised.

The reviews who weren't answered meant that I either have no comments on them or I'm cooking something. (wink wink) Pick your poison.

Now, let's dive in.

Sir Ector (???)

"KRIEEEEK!"

A green-skinned creature screeched as it was sliced in half with a blade. It was approximately three feet tall and it bears an ugly face with pointy ears. The locals call it a "goblin". A creature more like a pest than a monster, and just like pests, it becomes a problem when its population grows.

The one who sliced it was an armored person with a rugged green cloak. Their face was covered with a knight's helmet and in their torso was an iron plate mail with no insignia along with the greaves, they also wore a leather boots and iron gauntlets.

Their body was covered with goblin blood while they were sitting in giant boulder. They were deep in a forest, the vast trees concealing the civilization a few miles away. 'That should be the last one for today….' They thought while panting, it seemed that they were doing this since dawn.

"Oi, Ector!" A man called the knight. Their body getting shined with the orange gleam of the afternoon sun. "That's enough for today!" His name was Marlon, an adventurer who partnered with the knight.

The now identified Ector turned their gaze to Marlon, their expression unidentifiable inside the helmet. "Marlon, how many did we kill today...?" They said in a strangely high-pitched voice.

The other man cupped their chin while counting all the goblin corpses from the ground. "Holy shit, Fifty!? You just broke a guild record, man!" Marlon said to the knight.

"Pfft!" The knight snorted. "You helped too, so it should be OUR record instead of mine."

Marlon shook his head. "Nah, you did most of the work." He said as he sat beside the knight, patting their armored shoulder. "Can't believe that you just joined the guild a few weeks ago, why are you doing all this anyway?"

Oh, that's right, Ector was recruited by the guild as a mercenary to kill monsters for them, they found out that the knight was skilled with a sword and was already culling entire monster populations before they were found by the guild, they were also known as the Holy Blade for their glowing sword while fighting said monsters.

No one knew why they did it. But when they were asked, they just said: "To earn enough money to reach the royal capital." And accepted the deal to earn more money.

"You already know the answer, Marlon: to go to the capital." Ector said plainly, as if stating the obvious.

"Hm." Marlon looked at him. "Why the capital specifically? I heard that money was hard to earn there unless you're a merchant or a sellsword." He asks.

The knight shook their head. "I want to enlist at the new king's army."

"Heh, if it was not you who said that then I would call them crazy, the royal platoon only recruits people who graduated on that "prestigious" knight's academy." He patted the knight's back.

"But during the few weeks that you were at the guild… I know you would just beat up those snotty blue-bloods from the academy so hard they would be forced to accept you!" Marlon said enthusiastically while grinning.

The knight chuckled in the notion. "Hush it, you flatterer." Ector stood up and pulled a knife from their belt. "Dusk is near, we need to cut-off the ears for evidence." He says as kneels down and slices the left ear of a goblin corpse.

"Alright, the cart's gonna come soon anyway." Marlon stands up and starts cutting as well. "Hey, you gonna sleep at the inn tonight?" He asks his companion.

Ector nods. "Yeah, after this I should have enough money for the capital. I'll start my preparations."

"Mhm… Hey, just gotta tell you right now. I'm gonna miss you, man." Marlon says as he cuts another ear.

"Tsk." Ector cringes. "Don't get all sappy with me."

"Hah!"

(Later…)

Sunset came followed by the night. The ride to the Local Guild Office was uneventful at best, dull at worst. The goblin ears were accepted and they were rewarded with money. Ector now enters the inn.

"Oh, Sir Ector! A room for one?" The innkeeper asks him.

Ector nods in response. "Yes, I'll stay for one night."

"Mhm." The innkeeper nods enthusiastically. "Your room is in the farthest in the left. Have a good night's sleep~"

"I will."

The knight goes upstairs, to the second floor of the inn. His armor was clacking while walking up the stairs.

There, at the farthest left, was his room, just as the innkeeper said it would be. He entered the room and sat at the bed beside the window.

He then proceeded to remove the strap for his sword and hanged it at the wall. He removed the helmet from his head, golden hair flew out as it was released from the contains of the helmet, they opened their eyes and it revealed a beautiful pair of emerald green orbs.

Their face was soft and beautiful. Smooth skin that does not belong to warrior but a lady of a noble house. Some could say that it was feminine… they would be correct as Sir Ector was in fact: a woman.

Her name was Elizabeth Nightwillow , the missing noble lady from the Nightwillow Duchy. She went missing approximately a month ago, the king had deployed a search party to look for her.

She was never known to show interest with the way of the sword. So it was easy to hide herself from the public eye if she just pretended to be a man. And the wandering knight known as Sir Ector was born.

But, one could ask: Why was she skilled at cutting things in half despite having no sword training? The answer is: Artoria Pendragon, a soul that was seemingly trapped inside the young lady's body and is currently controlling it.

She was the Once and Future King of the land known as Britain, and here she was, fighting again despite her rest in Avalon.

But, Elizabeth was not lost, they were never lost. They were still inside the body as the original owner. They were still there angry and impatient. Waiting take over and say-

"That was reckless Artoria!" A voice rang inside Artoria's head as she was sitting at the bed. The one who yelled was THE Elizabeth Nightwillow, also known as Lady Lizbeth, or Liz if you were closer to her.

Contrasting Artoria's soft green eyes: She had fierce amethyst colored ones, her face looked beautiful but lacks the soft but stoic expression of the King of Knights. Her face instead were fierce and confident, villainous even. The perfect face for an Evil Lady. But they were anything BUT evil.

"What did I say about overexerting yourself with mana burst!? You could've collapsed out there!" She scolded the current host of their body.

Arturia sighs. "Forgive me, Liz." She looks down at the floor. "I needed to go to the capital as soon as possible… to find him as soon as possible." She spoke at the other woman inside her head, appearing to be talking to herself.

Elizabeth shook her head. "And how could you be so sure that he would be there?"

"I… just know. It's Avalon, it's calling me. The only one in know of who holds it would either be Merlin, Morgan, or Shirou. Besides, I saw a painting of the King of Antaria, he resembles Shirou to a frightening degree… I have to try my luck." Artoria explained to Liz.

"Okay, okay, I understand." She tries to comfort the former king. " Just… Let me take over for a day, okay? I'll handle the preparations so we could leave early tomorrow, hm?" The noble lady proposes.

The knight nods and yawns. "That would be most logical. I-I"ll retreat back and sleep so you could take over." Artoria spoke as she starts to lose consciousness.

"Hm." Elizabeth mentally nods back.

Artoria closes her eyes as her shoulders slump like a marionette without a master. Seconds later, she awakens, but something changed.

Her eyes were now purple instead of green, her expression becomes fierce and her ahoge disappears. It was now Liz's turn for the body.

"Geez, that meathead really doesn't know how to rest, does she?" Lizbeth has shared a body with Artoria since forever, they would take care of eachother like sisters and would face the abuses of their "father" head on. Artoria may be the more mature one, but Lizbeth had to berate her from time-to-time.

"Now, I'll have to buy supplies first." She stands up and puts on Artoria's helmet and other gear, she won't mess this up. It has been a month since they escaped from the duchy, she won't let herself and Artoria come back to that hellhole anymore.

Lizbeth leans in the cold stone walls of the city sewers, panting from exhaustion, the smell was repugnant but this is better than living on that mansion any longer.

She and Artoria hatched a plan to escape the clutches Aulus Nightwillow, their father. "Artoria, you have a plan?" She asks the other lady inside her mind.

"Yes, there might be a wa-! Liz, Aulus' soldiers! On the left, Run!"

"Ok!" She ran inside the dirty floor of the sewers as Artoria warns her about the incoming soldiers.

"On the right side, there's two!"

Lizbeth continues to run. Moments later it looked like they lost the soldiers. There, after a long while, she sees the exit, it was to the city.

But, suddenly she sees a shadow, it was coming towards her. It was the captain of the troops that was sent to capture her.

"Why don't you come back milady, and we don't have to make it hard for both of us." The soldier said cockily.

"Liz, use your magic! We need to escape, fast!"

"B-but, I might kill him if it fails!" Lizbeth says to her other side.

The captain cocked a brow. "Who're ya talking to?" He said, confused.

"Nevermind! I'm sorry for this!" Dark fog comes out of her hands and wraps around the man, it slowly chokes him as his body starts to shiver.

"Magic!? What the he- erhg!" He stops speaking and flails, only to fall over to the ground.

"Artoria…? I think I just killed him." She asks meekly while pointing to the unconscious man.

"No, he's alive, now open the exit!"

Lizbeth nods. "If you say so…" She opens the manhole and goes up to it. Only to find something bizarre, they were not surrounded by a city as they expected, instead, there was a vast greenery around them, the moon shines brightly over the trees, casting shadows over them.

"The city sewers dates back to the founding days of the kingdom, this passage was probably used to transfer supplies or refugees…" Artoria explains, showing her knowledge of Antaria's history.

"Most likely…" She nods, agreeing. She looks around and realizes that she has been standing over the cover of the manhole for some time now. "Let's go before the soldiers gets to us…" She walks away, deep into the forest.

At that moment, Elizabeth Nightwillow went missing, and Sir Ector would appear a few weeks later, slaying a wyvern with a glowing sword.

(Back to the Present...Morning)

Artoria wakes up with her armor arranged neatly at the corner, her eyes were bombarded with the burning rays of sunlight going through her room's window. She stands up and rubs her eyes, she looks down and sees a piece of paper that says:

Artoria,

If you ever see this… that means that I'm asleep. I stayed up all night to prepare for our travel… so you better be grateful, you got that? I'll wake up at noon, don't disturb me 'till then.

Signed,

-Your ever gorgeous sister.

P.S.: I've already eaten early on, you should be good to go after waking up.

"Hehe." Artoria chuckles. If there's anything that she likes about Lizbeth, it's her confidence about her appearance.

"I have to find a horse, the stables are north of the town as I remember." She starts to wear her armor and proceeds to go down the stair. The innkeeper calls her.

"Sir Ector, you don't need breakfast?" The innkeeper says to the now disguised Artoria.

Artoria waves. "No, I already ate."

"Mhm, okay then. Come back if you need anything~"

Artoria opens the door and walks to the direction of the stables. She was greeted by the locals as she became well known as an adventurer despite only having a temporary contract. Minutes later she arrived at the stables.

"Excuse me! I need to buy a horse!" She calls.

A rugged man wearing a farmer's hat came out. "Our finest ones are about five gold, almost military standard, can carry that heavy armor of yours for hours." He points at the big horses at the stables.

Artoria nods, just what she needs. "I'll take one." She puts the coins on the counter.

"Sure, choose the ones at the back, that's where we put them." He makes a shooing action, signaling the knight to choose a horse and to scram.

Later, she finally chose a horse. She straps the saddle and all of their supplies on it. Artoria readies herself for a long journey. She looks into the horizon, steadying her breath as she comes out of the town gates.

"Shirou, just you wait there." She spoke with determination.

A/N: Seibah is out for her sheath for a change. I made the missing villainess Elizabeth have some sort of pseudo/demi-servant relationship with Artoria just like in my original. I hope that you like it.

Also for their appearance, it's like middling Lancer Artoria and Saber Artoria. I won't explain the Nightwillow duchy for now, but just so you know, they're pretty powerful.

EDIT: As WellOBeing said, middling Artoria is just mhxx lmao.

Now please Follow and Favorite, it motivates me, thank you. And please review when you can, I'd like you to share your thoughts.

That's all, peace!
