Bane was in shock at seeing Rendor's human form. Inichi was able to give him the full mental vision on what happened. Saitama was able to sit in a chair to keep Mitsumi in his lap while they waited on what was to happen next.
"I was thinking of an area to the left of the stairway to my dojo. As long as we test in that area and away from the mountain my dojo is on, we should be fine," Bane said. "Now, if you wanted to make sure that you have a small mountain, too, ah, depending on the power you have, you could do that a bit away from mine."
"That's fine," Mitsumi smiled. She looked over to see Inichi bringing Sweet Mask and Genos over. Inichi was now quick to show them both what happened with Rendor. They were both very surprised. Tatsumaki was sitting on Rendor's shoulder possessively. She kept one hand on his head and listened to the others calmly. When Sweet Mask looked over with a raised brow of amusement, she stuck her tongue out at him.
"Tatsi…" Rendor chuckled and shook his head. She looked at him with a small smile. "Ah. Before I forget, I didn't want to say anything with that man we had trapped in the stone. The necklace pendants. If anything happens to us, they will help us find each other."
"Really?!" Tatsumaki blinked and took out her necklace.
"Yes. So, if something happens to me, you hold out your necklace. It will guide you to mine. It's the same thing if it happens to you. It has nothing to do with the entity, but they pull together. See?" Rendor said and took his out to let the pendants lock together into a perfect circle. Both pendants were already circular with inscriptive designs, but there were grooves when one looked closely to show how they fit together. "Don't lose it."
"I won't," she promised and hugged him tight. He carefully showed how they pulled apart to tuck back safely away under their clothes.
"That is ingenious," Inichi chuckled. "I may hear thoughts, but I don't know exact locations unless revealed."
"Hmm. Can we make more of those?" Saitama asked.
"Child Emperor may be able to see what it's made of," Genos mused.
"We'll ask him when we see him again. I just don't want them damaged. I don't know what they're made of or how they really work, but I found them in my travels. I was able to keep one on me from a secure pouch, but the other fell off me during my monster mindset days. I knew that guy had it from the scent. And I'm…glad he found it to keep me from looking for it.
"He had no idea what it was and likely thought it was something of power. Which it really isn't. The pendants have a very distinct scent of tree resin. It's hard to tell unless you know what to smell for," Rendor said. Mitsumi fully understood that. "Some of the stones set in are pieces of amber, so that's the tree resin. I think there is a moonstone in it, too, on both areas. I'll look later."
"Okay. So, when it comes to clearing the land, how do we want to do this?" Saitama asked. "Do I start it for a general direction?"
"You could, but we need the wood from the trees," Inichi frowned.
"I have an idea. Inichi, can you levitate me?" Mitsumi asked.
"Before he does, I want to stand behind you to hold you," Saitama said. "He can levitate us both."
"Saitama…" she sighed.
"Work with me," he said. Inichi showed he was ready, but Mitsumi took out both crane fan sets. Now she studied how the handle ends had small connectors and hooked the sets together. At first, the fans were semi-circular. Now they made a full circle when she flicked them open. Then she activated the blades to be much like a circular saw blade.
"Damn…" Kamikaze whistled. The others there were stunned at this. When she began to spin the two circular blade fans, she flicked them open for all six fans to appear. That had Sweet Mask gaping with shock.
"Inichi. Levitate me and aim me at the trees!" Mitsumi said with all six fans spinning at top speed. Inichi blinked away his shock and did just that. Saitama kept his arms around her waist and let her buzz saw down every single tree with complete and accurate ease with Inichi's floating guidance. Bane's jaw was dropped. Within five minutes, she had a half mile land of cleared landscape. Inichi was able to gather all the downed trees to neatly pile them off to the side of Bane's mountain for now.
"Nice!" Zenchu grinned.
"Clearing out the undergrowth and stumps is up to you," Mitsumi said when Inichi landed her gently. Saitama let her pull the blades back into the fans and close up the fans back into two to set them aside. He noticed how the crane fans folded in on themselves neatly until she was ready to open them again. "I'll need new holders, I think. The two fans joined are a little thicker now."
"I can do that!" Tacki said and jumped off Kamikaze's shoulders to start making adjustments. "Oh, Rendor. I'll fix your clothes, too."
"I don't have a sewing kit," Fumio frowned.
"It's fine! I keep a small emergency box in my chest pocket from the overalls!" Tacki beamed. Kamikaze found himself laughing now and sat in a chair when Inichi brought a few down from Bane's dojo.
"I'm just…we need to find the other fans…" Sweet Mask sighed hard.
"Only ten were made. So there are eight more sets out there. If they still exist," Mitsumi frowned and shrugged. "I would love to see if we can find any old Wind Crane Clan texts, too. They may tell us more."
"I can agree," Sweet Mask nodded. "I could recruit Drive Knight. He's known for getting missions done…but…"
"No," Genos said quickly. "Try another way first. If you recall, he left me to die to finish a mission. I barely survived."
"Ah…right…" Sweet Mask frowned.
:My friend, Drive Knight could be recruited. However, stress EXTREME caution. If Mr. Saitama believes that Lady Mitsumi or the family is under threat…: Inichi warned. Sweet Mask could only nod at that. :Advise for him to abort the mission if something goes wrong. This way he is not failing the mission, but following direct orders.:
:That may work. I'll discuss it with him later.: Sweet Mask agreed.
:Just be cautious.: Inichi warned with agreement. :Even I know from what I have gleaned from that one…he would stop at nothing to kill me if I found out what powers him. I refuse to listen to any of his thoughts pertaining it.:
:Ah! Yes. I can fully agree.: Sweet Mask grimaced.
"Inichi?" Mitsumi asked softly.
"Lady Mitsumi! Apologies. I was discussing something of importance with Sweet Mask. What did you need?" Inichi asked.
"It's fine. Um…how did you want to clear the land? Did you want to see about making a mountain?" she asked and blushed at the kiss to her cheek that Saitama gave her.
"I can work on building a mountain. We can work on leveling the landscape after the mountain is secured. How large did you wish for it to be?" Inichi asked. Sweet Mask now claimed a seat to see how powerful Inichi was. The others quickly followed his example. Bane looked up to see a young man with spiked out blond-brown hair in a messy way and held back by a headband running out of his dojo. His white karate uniform was the only thing he was mainly wearing with his sandals, but he glared at the small crowd with his brown eyes with a critical look on his face.
"Master! What's the meaning of this?! The land?!" the youth gaped.
"Charanko," Bane said calmly. "It's fine. Saitama plans to have a dojo near ours. They were clearing the land."
"But…these lands…no!" Charanko growled. Then he looked at Saitama before being struck dumb by Mitsumi's stunning beauty in his lap.
"Your disciple?" Mitsumi frowned at Bane.
"Regrettably…yes. He has a good heart, but…I have to wonder about how he tries to give it," Bane shrugged.
"Huh," Saitama said blankly. When Charanko kept staring at Mitsumi, Zenchu got up to stand in his line of sight.
"You need to stop that," Zenchu said and twitched his tail.
"You're a monster?!" Charanko gaped.
"I am. But…I don't attack. Lady Mitsumi woke me up so I don't need to. I'm just trying to save your life. Saitama here…he doesn't like it when people stare at Lady Mitsumi for long. She's his fiancée. And so you know…Saitama can easily punch you out and leave nothing left of you," Zenchu warned.
"What? No he can't!" Charanko scoffed.
"Yes. He can," Bane said.
"Old man, do you need another area cleared?" Saitama asked casually.
"Ah…hmm. I don't like the small rock next to the stairway of my dojo. It's on the right," Bane said. The rock he mentioned was a boulder that appeared to weigh in at nearly two tons. Charanko was quick to move right over to it and tried to push the massive boulder. "Charanko, stop it."
"Let me do it!" Charanko scowled. Then he paused when Saitama was simply right there to use one finger and push it out of the way to test if he would need to punch it or not. Then he watched Inichi quickly move Charanko out of the way just as he pulled his right fist back and punched it to turn it into rubble. It first started as a split seam before completely collapsing in on itself. Charanko's jaw simply dropped.
"I'm an S class hero now. Rank 3. Because I can do that," Saitama said with a blank stare at him. "Anyways, it's done. You can sit down. Or, eh…do whatever. I'm gonna sit with my girl again."
"And what's so special with her?" Charanko asked. Then he paused when Mitsumi took out the fans from the newly extended holders to flick out the blades and spin them. Saitama chuckled and easily walked up to her after she put them away to pull her close and kiss her.
"You like to show off, hmm?" Mitsumi smiled.
"Only as much as you," Saitama said and let her cling to him. She squeaked when he lifted her in his arms and sat back down to let her settle in his lap. Then he looked at Inichi to nod. The blue monster nodded back and focused near the middle of the cleared plot. He rose up his hands to start lifting and sculpting the earth into a perfect mountain with a leveled top for building.
"How big would this dojo become?" Inichi asked and began to form the stairs with random stones from within the earth he pulled up. Sweet Mask's jaw was simply dropped at what he was watching. Is that mountain half a mile high?!
"I'm not sure. There should be a living quarters for those that wish to tend it. As well as other rooms for bathing and such," Mitsumi suggested.
"I can tell you how to build it properly," Bane nodded.
"Just a main room should be enough," Kamikaze shrugged and glanced over at Tacki lightly mending Rendor's shirt and pants. When she got shooed away by him, she bounced back over to Kamikaze to settle in his lap.
"There should be an area for those that want to be Saitama's disciples to fight me. Hmm. Maybe they should fight me twice. Once for five minutes for starting out. Then another for ten minutes to advance up…" Zenchu mused.
"Huh. Yeah. Let's do it," Saitama grinned lightly.
"What?" Charanko gaped.
"Eh...you wouldn't be able to last against me. Don't quit your day job," Zenchu smirked. Bane coughed and hid his face in his hand to keep from laughing. Kamikaze cleared his throat and found himself enthralled in how Tacki was starting to crochet a hat from a small ball of wool she had in one of her pockets. Mitsumi was gently caressing Saitama's cheek before he pulled her close to plant a kiss on her mouth.
"You don't know that!" Charanko scowled. Then he blinked when Zenchu simply shadow phased behind him and tapped his shoulder.
"Yeah. I do. Be glad I don't bathe in the blood of humans anymore. Bane would be lacking a disciple now if that was the case," Zenchu said while he towered over the young man.
"Zenchu, please behave," Mitsumi said softly.
"Sorry, Lady Mitsumi," Zenchu chuckled and moved to sit near her now.
"Inichi, how much longer? We should check on the restaurant soon," she said now. Genos was clearly worried about Kamiko. He didn't want her to feel overwhelmed from other men trying to hit on her.
"Master Saitama, I would like to invest in a cell phone for Kamiko," Genos said. "Would this be possible?"
"Hmm? Kamiko is fine," Inichi chuckled. "Tsuruga is keeping others at bay while you are gone."
"Ah. Thank you," Genos nodded.
"Of course," Inichi said and was able to make the mountain a bit more stable. "Hmm. Miss Fubuki? Can you please solidify the outer structure? I am sure that I have this, but a touch of your expertise to ensure nothing will break down while it settles would be appreciated."
"Oh? Of course," Fubuki smiled and rose up to summon up a wintry hell storm to firmly set the dirt and stones into place.
"We shall let the mountain set like this. Tomorrow we shall return to judge the structure. The steps are firm enough, but we will test them," Inichi said.
"Okay. Restaurant for an hour," Saitama said and rose up with Mitsumi in his arms. "Then home for some relaxation."
"Think a date night? Or just stay in?" Mitsumi smiled.
"I think we can stay in tonight," he said and kissed her forehead. "Maybe play some games with my shirt off…"
"Oh?" she giggled and pressed a kiss to his mouth. "I'd like that."
"Good. We'll plan for it," he grinned.
"Just don't play against King," she chuckled.
"Eh…why…?" he had to ask now.
"You might like it. His chest flexes when he gets mad," Zenchu said.
"And how would you know that?" Kamikaze asked.
"When he gets mad, I stay away," Zenchu said to get the swordsman laughing at him. "That's how I know."
"I may distract him, though," Mitsumi chuckled. "Oh! Kianna!"
"Yes, Lady Mitsumi?" Kianna asked.
"I have a dare…" Mitsumi snickered. Inichi coughed out laughter and sent the thought to Zenchu and Rendor to get them both laughing and cringing.
"What?" Saitama looked at her.
"Ah…yeah…" King now looked over.
"We should see how well they play with distractions," Mitsumi chuckled.
"Oh…" Kianna mused.
"No," King said and gave a mild glare at Kianna when she licked his cheek. "That's not fair."
"Practice?" Kianna winked. Rendor was simply dying with laughter. Tatsumaki was a bit lost in thought now. That had Rendor looking at her with curiosity after he calmed down. He was now whispered to and started stuttering.
"Ah…I just…became human again…" Rendor started.
"They can play their games. We need to play one of ours. Privately," Tatsumaki said to him with a small grin. Fubuki started laughing at her sister now.
"What? He was a monster, too?" Charanko asked.
"Yeah, I was," Rendor said. "And I can change back into it. A small…agreement from what changed me before. No, I'm not going to show it off unless I absolutely have to."
"Kamikaze," Tacki snickered and whispered to him.
"What the hell?!" Kamikaze looked at her with shock. "That's…ugh…"
"What?" Saitama asked.
"We will have more swordplay later," Kamikaze grunted and squeezed Tacki to him. "And I still need to box you in a crate!"
"Will you join me? I'd prefer without the clothes, though," Tacki asked to get the others laughing hard. Kamikaze now stared at her as though she was crazy. Charanko was simply confused. Inichi refused to explain it to him. Sweet Mask was simply holding his head in his hands.
"Did you need to go elsewhere?" Inichi asked Sweet Mask. "I know I brought you here, but you weren't too far off. I can bring Genos with us."
"Ah…my car isn't far off. So, yes, I'll…be able to drive. I hope…" he sighed. "Um…I did have another script…"
"I do not need to be part of your personal hell right now," Inichi said to get Sweet Mask to cough out laughter. Mitsumi just cringed from her laughter escaping her. "But…is it in your car?"
"Yes…" Sweet Mask nodded. He soon saw the blue bubble with the folder coming right up to Inichi to look through. He was glad he was still sitting down.
"Sweet Mask, this writer needs to go back to being a clown for children's parties. Smashing a cake in their own face would be nicer to look at than reading what this garbage is all about," Inichi grunted to get the others laughing. "At least that would serve a purpose and that 'writer' would get paid for entertaining said children! Even tying a balloon animal to give to a child would have more merit that trying to structure a decent sentence!"
"Ah…" Sweet Mask started and coughed. Charanko was simply floored at what he was hearing now and had to sit on the ground.
"It's about a party for a sophisticated ball? A gala? Okay…but…there is no detail at all on what would even go in the play for your act! Is the floor marble? Wood? Is there music? What time does it happen? Absolutely no detail much less a shred of imagination! And what is the theme of said gala? Nothing it all! The first line… 'They all lined up for the gala'. Okay…but…I feel unsatisfied by that first sentence alone!" Inichi sighed. Fubuki now looked at him to dart a thought at him to force the blue monster to pause and look at her with shock. "This plot does not satisfy me. You are different."
"Wait…what?!" Sweet Mask now looked at him.
"Oh, you don't know?" Inichi seemed to grin. "Miss Fubuki and I…have…ah, some arrangements. I'll leave it at that. And, no, I will not go into detail. I have a reason unlike this script that severely lacks any."
"But…I mean…" Sweet Mask frowned.
"My dear friend," Inichi sighed. "Sometimes…sensations are just as good as the true thing."
"Ah…wow…" Sweet Mask gaped at the thought.
"It worked. I'm definitely not complaining," Fubuki chuckled.
"And, no, I vowed I would not do so to anyone else," Inichi said and looked through the script again. "Okay, this pisses me off! How is there dancing going on, but, once again, no music?! No orchestral staff mentioned to even describe what instruments are played! No detail on theme or setting! It's just a statement that the crowd continued to dance. To what? What lighting was there? What food and drink were they eating? Sweet Mask…!"
"I get it!" Sweet Mask sighed miserably. "I also went over this with the writer. They said the story was fine."
"They lied," Inichi grumbled. "Once again…I'll fix this. I tend to get it all done in the middle of the night. I never need sleep now. The most I do is meditate for a few minutes at a time. Then I'm good to go. I'll send this back home for intense correcting after we get to the restaurant."
"So…they danced to air and invisible music," Zenchu mused.
"Or it was all in the writer's head and they thought they were putting something down on paper," Rendor grinned. "Kinda like sleepwalking."
"Your theories are much better than what I was reading," Inichi grunted out to get them laughing. "Anyways, the restaurant?"
"Yes. I'm hungry," Saitama said and pulled Mitsumi close to his chest on rising up with her in his arms.
"Well, Charanko, did you want to join us? I'm sure you can get a free meal for being my disciple," Bane said.
"That can be done," Mitsumi nodded.
"Oh. Um…I guess…" Charanko shrugged. Then he gaped when Inichi lifted the small group up into a blue bubble.
"Don't worry about the chairs. Charanko can bring them back up when we are done and back here," Bane said.
"I may show up," Sweet Mask said and watched them leave. His mind was filled with finding the fans now. What he witnessed simply couldn't be ignored. Those fans are important. They are exceptionally rare. They cannot be trusted in the wrong hands. Only Mitsumi should use them. They are now my top priority to have them found right after her family is brought to justice.
