"I really want to go to the fireworks event with you," Saitama sighed from where he lay back in the treasure bed with Mitsumi. Their costumes were carefully, but hastily, removed the moment the bedroom door was shut. Zenchu was preparing small meals in the kitchen in case they needed it.
"I do, too. But if your power is already starting to do this…well…think about it. Public place. No real place to take me to in private. Wind Crane…she may cause a stir. I'm hoping that just doing this here for a few hours straight might help curb things. I already know that when your urge really hits…we won't be going anywhere," she said and hugged him close.
"Let's see how the next few hours go," he muttered and rose up a bit to settle on the pillows with her. "Hungry?"
"A little," she nodded and let him pull a silken gold sheet over them. Inichi sent in Zenchu, and he carried in a plate with a few sandwiches.
"Wind Crane is giving over ancient, intricate designs of what the original dojo looked like. There was a true dojo for the Wind Crane Clan at one point," Zenchu chuckled. "It was a beautiful building."
"I'm sure it was," she smiled and took up a tasty sandwich with Saitama. Zenchu noticed the cell phone ringing, and he answered it for them.
"Hello? Oh. Um…Saitama, it's your mother…" he grinned and put the phone on speaker. He left shortly after to stay out of the conversation and shut the door to the bedroom lightly.
"Mom? Hey," Saitama said and let Mitsumi snuggle into him.
"Do you have plans tonight?" she asked.
"There was a fireworks event at the night market in City Z. We were planning to go there. It's closer to the border of City Y, but we like to browse when we can. Also, I have a very messed up condition right now. It's hard to explain and it can easily keep me from going anywhere. It's not an illness. It's just gonna hit me hard for a few days and then leave," Saitama sighed. "It pretty much comes from how I can punch. It won't affect me anymore after it passes. At least for some time."
"Oh! Do you need me to come over to help you?" she asked.
"It's okay. I'm taking care of him," Mitsumi smiled and finished off her sandwich. Saitama was quick to finish his off and set the plate aside.
"Make sure to give him some stir-fried lobster and beef!" Okada ordered. "That always helped him when he got antsy and cranky."
"Ah…" Saitama blinked.
"Favorite meal?" Mitsumi grinned. "Zenchu can make some."
"Yeah. One of my favorites. Please?" he said to get her laughing softly.
"Think a dessert of fried ice cream?" she grinned a bit more.
"Yes. Yes, that works," he said and nodded. "Anyways, Mom, we plan to go out tonight. Depending on how I feel, it will judge how long we are out for."
"Good. Your father and I will meet you there. Around sunset. See you later, honey!" Okada said and hung up.
"Craaaap…" he pouted and lay back on the bed with a groan.
"I'm just hoping that us being here and trying to burn this out of you will help," Mitsumi sighed. Now he looked at her like she was crazy.
"I don't think that will ever happen," he said and pulled her close to let her rest against him. "I rarely feel tired unless I've been up for a very long time. When I'm fighting, I'm not exhausted at all. Most of the time…I just don't feel anything. With you, I actually feel again. I'm alive again. I've told you this before. Without you…I'm lifeless."
"How do you feel right now?" she asked and pressed a soft kiss to his mouth. "Right this minute?"
"Normal. Like nothing's wrong. But the moment you leave my side? The moment I think you're not there? An intense need to get you back. To protect you. And with that fire…even with you here, I need you…closer. Only way to describe it. For me to physically be with you to get rid of the feeling. It's suffocating! It sucks! I know you're with me, but…" he grimaced and shook his head. "I don't know…"
"Your body wants to protect me and claim me. Not only that, but to ensure I get a part of you in return at all times," she said and pressed into his side. "If you're like this now…"
"I'm sure it will be much worse when the time actually hits. This is just a taste of what's gonna happen," Saitama frowned and held her close. "The moment your bleeding was done. That was when I started to feel this in small spurts. I'd be with you. Everything was fine and the pain was gone. I also have a really big feeling that I might get pissed if I'm interrupted with you. For anything. Unless you show everything is fine, I may be fighting the urge to slap away anyone."
"Should we have Zenchu always knock on the door?" Mitsumi asked with a small grin. Now Saitama blinked and mused at that until Zenchu was heard swearing out from the kitchen from Inichi's report. Mitsumi started laughing, but she found herself looking at Saitama with curiosity at his blank look of thought.
"I would say that he would be one of the only ones able to take a slap from me, regenerate, and get in the way of anyone else," Saitama said in a rather serious way. Now Zenchu knocked on the door before entering and sitting near them.
"Okay. You put it like that. I get that. I'll still keep from getting slapped, anyways, but I'll take the brunt of it to get others out of the way," Zenchu said. "If you think you won't have any control over your actions, much like me in the field that first time on trying to help you, then I'll do what I can to keep the peace."
"Should we practice now?" Saitama asked with a small grin.
"No. Fuck you," Zenchu said to get the hero grinning and laughing softly at him. Mitsumi died laughing and hid her face in Saitama's neck. "I'm almost done with your ice cream. Orotsu is instructing me through Inichi on what to do. Five more minutes and it will be ready."
"Good," Saitama nodded and handed over the empty sandwich plate. "Oh. Do we have any lobster and beef? I'd like some stir-fried. Maybe a touch of teriyaki glaze with it, too."
"Hmm. I don't think we have any lobster right now…" Zenchu frowned. "Inichi will pick some up for us fresh from the ocean. I'll get a pot ready to boil."
"Okay," Mitsumi beamed and watched him head out. When the phone rang again, Saitama glared at it. She answered it, though, and set it on speaker. "Hello? Who is this?"
"Ah…Fan Dancer? It's Sweet Mask," the voice said.
"Oh! Saitama is here with me. We're resting. What's up?" she asked.
"I have a rather…humble request…" he said.
"What is it?" she asked. Saitama listened calmly and kept an arm around her. He was already prepared to jump in depending on the request.
"I would like you to teach me how to fan dance," he said.
"Why?" Saitama now asked before she could respond.
"Because it's a form of art!" Sweet Mask said. "And…well…"
"Come on. Spit it out," Saitama said with a touch of boredom.
"One of my acts…wants me to do a bit of it," he finally admitted.
"Really? Well, if you go to Bane's dojo, Tacki is there right now. Our dojo is being constructed at last. Ask her to make you a set of practice fans. She can do that for you," Mitsumi said. "You can also have Inichi relay the message."
"Ah! Right! Okay, I'll do that," Sweet Mask said.
"Inichi can also tell you what to do with the fans. He did with me as a test. It worked," Saitama said. Now there was a bit of silence.
"You…know how to fan dance?" Sweet Mask asked.
"To a point. Yes," Saitama said and sat up to take the bowl of fried ice cream from Zenchu to share with Mitsumi. "I might not know in full, but I know how it works."
"I wonder if he could test that with me," Sweet Mask mused. "As it stands, I do have some free time tonight. There is a fireworks event in the evening that I was asked to attend. Have you ever been to one?"
"Ah-!" Mitsumi started, but Saitama put a finger to her mouth to let him talk for her to show he was in control.
"We planned to go. My parents wanted to show up. Mitsumi had never seen one of these events up close. However, it's getting close for me to have my alone days with her. What this means is the power building up in my body may make me go stupid. If I go stupid, I think she's in danger. If I think she's in danger, I start slapping people. So, if she and I suddenly ditch everyone, it's to keep me from slapping people. Unless they deserve it. I'm not above that," Saitama said and now began to feed her ice cream.
"Oh…" Sweet Mask said and cleared his throat. "I suppose this is also why the Hero Association was going to postpone the next mass recruitment."
"It is," Mitsumi said and fed Saitama a spoonful of the flavorful ice cream.
"How many Secret Skins were found before?" he asked.
"Seven of them," Saitama said.
"That's quite a few. Okay. We can't set it up sooner?" he asked now.
"Nope. Because I'm feeling the effects of what's gonna happen. You don't want to be around me when it happens," Saitama warned.
"I see. Anyways, how many plan to show up to the event? I can secure the best seats for the group," Sweet Mask offered.
"Oh. That would be nice. Let me think…" Saitama thought to himself. "So far, around thirteen. Unless Child Emperor and other heroes appear."
"I will secure twenty seats. Just in case," Sweet Mask said. "I'll see you there. Until then."
"Right," Saitama said and hung up. He set the phone aside and looked at Mitsumi with a usual blank stare.
"Hmm?" she asked and fed him a spoonful of ice cream.
"If he tries to sit next to you, I'll slap him," he said.
"Love! Please!" she sighed and shook her head. "You'll have me sitting in your lap no matter what. So, have your mother sit on one side of you. Have Zenchu sit on the other. Genos, Kamiko and Suiryu can sit behind us. King and Kianna can also sit by us. Siren can even sit behind us with the others, too. He will have no place to sit right by me. Even Fumio can sit by us with Zenchu next to him. Think about it. We have so many family members that it won't happen."
"Better be that way," he mumbled and helped her clean the bowl. Setting that aside, he lay back with her and sighed with a bit of contentment for now.
"When should we start to get dressed? And what should I wear?" she asked.
"Normal clothes. Keep your hair down, but lightly looped up. No Bao Bao for now. We agreed that hairstyle would only be for me from this point forward. Of course, you'll bring your fans. They'd insist, anyways," he said and squeezed her. "We'll get ready in…four hours. Wanna watch a show? Or something else?"
"Can you read to me?" she asked with a soft smile. At this said, Zenchu walked in to hand over the romance book and take up the empty bowl to wash.
"Should we read to each other?" Saitama asked and kissed her gently. She nodded and watched him open the cover to the first page. An hour went by this way, and he stopped at the fourth chapter. Setting the book aside, he yawned and sighed heavily.
"Are you tired?" she asked.
"I think so. But I don't think I can sleep," he frowned. She sat up now and had him rest his head in her lap. She gently stroked the back of his head and softly sang a lullaby. Within seconds he had fallen asleep. She brought the song to a soft close and smiled down at him before sighing to herself. Leaning back into the pillows now, she lost herself in thought.
I can't believe that this wonderful, amazing man is here with me. That he loves me so much. That he saved me from a fate that could have killed me. Only about two weeks ago! And now look at me. Free. In love. Safe. But…for how long can I feel safe? Will this change? Will this end? Is this all one big fantastic dream and I'll wake up from it? Is this all a hallucination from a deteriorating mind? I just… She swallowed and found a hand coming up to caress her cheek.
"You stopped singing," Saitama muttered. "Why are you sad now?"
"Lost in thought…" she said softly. He sat up to pull her into his lap and cradle her tight to him.
"Tell me the thoughts," he said.
"That I'm dreaming," she murmured. "That I'm going to wake up. That none of this is real. That I'm still trapped and dying…"
"Let this be real," he said and kissed her in a desperate way before laying full claim to her whimpering form. He had them both crying out with each other and gasping hard for air. She clung to him and panted from all of it now.
"Very real…" she sighed and heard him chuckle softly.
"I can't sing," he said. "But I can rock you to sleep."
"Okay," she smiled and found herself cuddling into his arms. He kissed her forehead and held her to him. Within minutes they were both sleeping rather deeply. Zenchu was made aware in the kitchen from Inichi, and he was already setting several large lobsters into a boiling pot of lightly salted water. He checked the time and moved to recline on the couch to watch the television.
Thirty minutes later, he was up and tending to the cooked lobsters. It was easy to remove the shells with his claws. Then he scraped out the meat from the legs, tails and lobster claws before piling it all into a bowl. Seasoning all the meat and tossing it with teriyaki sauce, he fired up the wok and began to lightly sear the lobster meat up.
Once it was done, he worked on some Wagyu beef strips to go into the wok next. Vegetables were added with the lobster meat once again with another dousing of teriyaki sauce to glaze it neatly. Setting the finished meat and vegetables into a large bowl, he set it aside to lightly cool. Checking the time, he chuckled. "I don't want to wake them, but I know they need to eat. Okay. Hopefully he doesn't try to slap me."
Walking over to the door, he knocked on it loudly to hear Saitama grunt out with annoyance from being jolted awake. "What?!"
"Sorry, I didn't know if you wanted some lobster," Zenchu said calmly.
"Oh! Ah…yeah! Bring it in," Saitama called out and found himself sitting up with Mitsumi again. "Okay. We'll eat and sleep more."
"Sounds good," she chuckled. They were served soon after, and they both started to eat with intense delight. Using their chopsticks, it was easy to select the richly flavored pieces to enjoy.
"Been a long time since I had this," Saitama sighed with a happy delight.
"Not often I get lobster," Mitsumi beamed.
"So, this makes you very happy, eh?" Zenchu grinned.
"You could say that," Saitama shrugged.
"Maybe, as a peace offering, I can have some on hand if something starts to go wrong. What do you think?" Zenchu asked.
"We can definitely see if that helps," Saitama nodded. "I honestly have no idea how these next few days are going to affect me. I know I'll never hurt Mitsumi. I also know that she may be the one helping keep the peace."
"Inichi is aware now. We'll have some lobster prepped and ready by then. What's the plan now?" Zenchu asked.
"Take my phone out of here, please. I need to sleep with her for a good two hours. Wake us up around then," Saitama said and handed over his phone.
"Got it," Zenchu nodded and took the phone and empty plate out of the room. He had made quite a bit of the tasty dish, so he planned to store the excess for later to wake them up with it.
"Sleep again?" Mitsumi smiled at Saitama's yawn.
"Yeah," he agreed and pulled her close to fall back to sleep with her. It was an hour later when she found herself waking up and unable to go back to sleep. He was still sleeping, but she remembered her promise to wake him up and to not leave him alone anymore. She gently traced over his chest to get him to slowly blink awake and smile at her. "Hmm?"
"Sorry. I couldn't sleep anymore. I know you said not to leave you alone anymore. So…I woke you up gently," she chuckled.
"Good," he grinned softly and kissed her passionately. "I love you."
"I love you," she grinned back and sighed. "We need a bath."
"Yeah. Okay. Let's do that and get dressed," he nodded.
"I'll see about setting the water," she said and now moved to crawl over him to where the tub was. On seeing how she was on her hands and knees, he let out a small growl and tackled her to get her laughing with surprise.
"I haven't tried this way yet," he grinned and got up behind her. That got her gasping with shock. Ten minutes had passed before they finally made it to the tub to soak down and scrub each other. "I like that position. We'll do that again."
"I can tell that you did…" she said with a small wince from the soreness.
"I hurt you?!" he frowned.
"In a good way," she chuckled. He gave her a blank stare to show he wasn't buying it. "What?! It's the truth!"
"I still hurt you. Hmm. How can I…oh. You said before that my tongue felt nice. I haven't tasted you lately, so…" he grinned a bit wickedly now at her look of shock. Ten more minutes later had her struggling to move against his chest.
"Bed. Lay down. Five minutes. Please?" she asked in a hoarse voice. He lifted her in his arms to carry her out of the tub, kicked a towel onto the bed and lay her down on it to carefully dry her off. He lay back next to her after that and turned on the television to let her rest and recover against him. "How…can you still have…energy?!"
"I'm stupid strong. That's why," he chuckled and squeezed her. At a knock on the door, he called out, "We're already up! She's recovering for a bit."
"Recovering?! Ah…oh. Okay. I'll leave you to it!" Zenchu laughed and moved to recline on the couch in the main room.
"Besides, I have no idea how I'm going to be when my power snaps in to always be with you. I may never need to sleep," Saitama shrugged. He gave her a neutral blank stare at her small glare of disbelief. "It's the truth."
"You had better let me get some form of sleep and rest!" she scowled and smacked him lightly with a pillow. He grinned and snatched her into his arms to squeeze her and kiss her softly.
"I'll do my very best," he promised. "Just tell me if I start to hurt you. Make you feel bad. That always stops me. I will never want to see you in any form of pain. I love you too much to do that to you. Okay?"
"Okay," she said and leaned into him with a heavy sigh. "I just feel drained now. Let me rest?"
"It's fine," he nodded and moved to let her fully lay against him and lightly sleep. He watched the television for a good twenty minutes before she finally managed to stir. He made sure she was good before helping her move to dress. She was still wincing a bit on moving around in her soft shorts, but he was already lifting her in his arms to carry her to their couch.
"Are you okay?" Zenchu frowned on seeing her.
"I'll be fine. Not…used to this," she sighed and rested against Saitama.
"I think Kamiko may have some soothing lotions for this. You'd think she'd use them for Genos," he mused.
"I still need something to match him," Saitama said with a neutral gaze at the thought. Then he looked at Mitsumi when she smacked his chest. "What?"
"No! You do plenty! Or, how about this. Wait until the next few days pass. Okay? Then ask?" she seemed to plead.
"Do that," Zenchu said with a frown. "She's clearly trying to keep up with you right now."
"Okay," Saitama said and requested a soda. Mitsumi gave a sigh of relief and started to relax again. Zenchu was already relaying a message to Inichi to ensure this was going to be enforced while getting the soda for Saitama. :None of us want to see Lady Mitsumi in distress. Saitama is the same. We just need to make sure she survives these next few days. This is a crucial time, and everyone knows this. We all want a kid from them. I'll do whatever I can to help keep the peace.:
:The same thoughts are mine. They are resting?: Inichi asked.
:For now, yes. Lady Mitsumi is almost at her breaking point, though. Saitama is…almost too much for her. You may need to gently break into his thoughts to remind him of her health. I can handle the physical crap. You'll need to pay attention to his mental thought process.: Zenchu advised.
:A sound idea! Very well. I shall secure more lobster, too, and Orotsu shall make several exquisite dishes for them to help for the next few days to come. Hmm. I shall have Kianna purchase a small tank for holding the lobsters. We shall keep them fed and in good condition until they are ready to become prepared for dishes.: Inichi said and went to start on that.
:Another thing before you move off. Those carts. I need Tacki to set one with a curtain. I think it may be crucial if Saitama has a sudden urge to be with Mitsumi in a crowded place.: Zenchu said seriously.
:Ah! Yes! Tacki is getting on that right now. She will also create a few practice fans for the dojo, and a set for Sweet Mask.: Inichi agreed.
"Saitama, I had an idea for you and Lady Mitsumi. We are taking one of those carts we used for her in the beginning and setting a curtain on it. This way, if an urge hits you, you have a private place to go. Somewhat. Just keep it quiet," Zenchu said and handed over the soda. Saitama looked at him and thought about it before nodding and taking the drink.
"Wind Crane kept us pretty sound proof. I think my fans could do the same thing," she mused and blinked when her fans flew over to her to split up and form a circular bubble of sorts around her and Saitama.
"They want to test? Gladly," Saitama grinned, set the soda aside and pounced her. After five minutes, the fans separated out to reveal her flush and gasping form against him. He had just finished fixing up their clothes before thinking. "I'll want you to wear a skirt instead of shorts. I'll have a zipper in my shorts for quick use."
"Okay…" she said against him weakly.
"If it helps, I heard no sounds," Zenchu said.
"She was screaming. You heard nothing? Awesome! Maybe we can line the inside of the cart with feathers, then," Saitama mused. Zenchu relayed this information to Inichi's laughing mental frame for it to be done. Now he looked at Mitsumi and asked, "Are you okay? I mean…are you?"
"I'll be fine…I think…" she whispered. Saitama studied her and grimaced lightly. On gently tracing a finger over her jaw, she gasped and shivered.
"No. You're not fine. You're not okay. I did this," Saitama frowned hard.
"Ah…" Zenchu blinked and focused on Inichi. :We need Kamiko! Now!:
:She is already on her way!: Inichi said in response. Within a minute, Kamiko was walking in from the main doorway to quickly assess Mitsumi.
"She is completely at her limit on this," Kamiko frowned. "Zenchu, can we make a cold pack? I can get some massage oils to help, but she's much too warm now. She has to cool down."
"I can find something," Zenchu nodded. Saitama took his cold soda and gently pressed it against Mitsumi's forehead to hear her gasp with a form of relief. He muttered softly, but Kamiko was already bringing over a balm that would encourage cooling on contact. She showed him how to gently massage it into the areas that felt hot the most.
"I'm sorry…" Saitama started, but Mitsumi put her finger to her mouth.
"If I didn't want it, I would have said so. I'm just not used to having it so much, okay? Maybe this will help me build up some strength. If we have something to help me recover, then it will help," she said softly and kissed him passionately. "Don't blame yourself. Okay?"
"But it's my fault!" he said. He blinked when she called for her fans to surround them again, and Kamiko found herself laughing hard at everything.
"Make me scream, lover-boy!" she grinned to get him staring at her.
"Get a skirt on," he said.
"Zenchu!" she said and peered through the fans. "I need a skirt, please."
"Oh? Ah! Okay," Zenchu nodded and was quick to dart into the bedroom to pick out a decent one to bring to her. She took it, tossed her shorts out and let Saitama use her however he saw fit. She was panting hard when the fans separated out, but she was finally getting to a point that it was easier to work with.
"As long as I have a way to recover…I'll be fine," she sighed and leaned into Saitama's bare chest. He had replaced his shorts, but decided to be shirtless for her for now. "When are the others on their way back?"
"Another ten minutes," Kamiko said.
"Okay. Saitama, let's get ready to go. Kamiko can help me prepare now that she's here," Mitsumi said. He nodded and replaced his shirt before finally opening up his soda to drink it down quickly. "I think I want to wear something that could be suitable for a performance. Maybe."
"What?" Saitama asked her on carrying her into the bedroom.
"We will likely be recognized. And it is a rather sexy dress in that silvery color, too. Hmm?" she winked. He growled and sighed.
"If you are going to do an unplanned performance, I suppose I'll wear my performance costume. Hmm. I need Tacki to put a zipper in the pants, then," Saitama frowned on studying it.
"I'm here! What do you need?!" Tacki said when she bolted in.
"Tacki! Stop it!" Kamikaze said and sat on the couch.
"Oh, hush! I'm fine! Also, Lady Mitsumi, I want to build a blacksmith forge! I need to!" Tacki said and charged into the bedroom to study Saitama's costume. Taking it from him, she was quick to jump back over to Kamikaze to sit in his lap when Kamiko brought over her crafting bin.
"You have been nonstop since Inichi's talk of what was needed. You already fixed up that cart, set up carved pillars on the dojo, set the stairs, made bedding…just stop! Please?" Kamikaze grimaced.
"Honey, I'm fine," Tacki assured him. "You had me take a nap. It gave me a massive energy boost. Or should I have more coffee…?"
"No. More. Coffee. Ever," Kamikaze growled at her. She removed the stick from his mouth and rewarded him with a passionate kiss to calm him down.
"I'm just kidding," she chuckled and put the stick back. "I know. I admit it. I went crazy overboard. What I'm doing is marginal, right?"
"Marginal?!" Kamikaze looked at her.
"Well…you did want someone to keep you on your toes, hmm?" she chuckled at him. At his sigh and nod, she giggled. "That's what I love about you."
"I love ya, too," he sighed with a touch of defeat. "Just remember! The moment you start to show the kids…"
"I know. I'll slow down," she nodded. "Until then, let me work at the pace I do best. Okay? Stitching stuff is easy. I get the whole building stuff."
"Fine," Kamikaze sighed again and looked over to see Zombieman walking in with Himiko.
"Hey. We heard there were fireworks soon. We'd like in," Zombieman said. Himiko blushed softly and waved. He had an arm around her to show the dating had no issues yet.
"Oh! These are for you, Himiko!" Tacki said and gave over a set of practice fans from her overalls pocket.
"Thank you!" Himiko blinked with surprise.
"What's the deal with that cart, anyways?" Kamikaze asked.
"Eh…you know how I get crazy stupid unless I'm with Mitsumi? That's what that's for. Easy privacy with the curtain. The feathers keep the sound contained, too," Saitama shrugged.
"Crazy stupid?" Himiko frowned.
"Your sister is getting ready to have the chance at a kid. His body knows this. He has to fuck her when he starts to feel pain," Zenchu said to get Himiko's jaw dropping at this. Zombieman cracked a grin and coughed when Mitsumi threw a couch cushion at Zenchu.
"I will have Inichi berate you for me later!" Mitsumi hissed at him.
"What?! She needed a point-blank description!" Zenchu said.
"Darling, remember how Zenchu said he would take the brunt of your slap in case something went wrong?" Mitsumi asked Saitama. Now Saitama set his blank stare on Zenchu to get the monster swearing loudly and backing away. "It's either him slap you, or I smack you with the walking cane!"
"I'm getting the cane!" Zenchu said quickly to get them all dying with laughter. He found it to give to her and braced himself for the smacks to his shins. Once the punishment was delivered, and the cane put back, Mitsumi sighed and found Saitama sitting up to cradle her.
"Is everyone coming back now?" Saitama asked.
"Inichi was going to take them all to the night market. Then he was going to pick us up," Tacki said. "Here! Your shorts now have zippers and your costumes do, too. Let me check on that cart outside."
"Not yet," Kamikaze said. "When we're ready to leave, okay?"
"Fine," she sighed and leaned into him with a smile. Saitama carried Mitsumi into the bedroom to change, and he appeared in his sparkling performance costume. Mitsumi emerged in her silvery f an dancing gown finery, and Kamiko was able to help fix up her hair, makeup and jewelry. The fans settled along the fan holders of matching colors, and she smiled.
"Are we ready to go on our date night?" Mitsumi asked.
"Yes. And if Sweet Mask so much as shakes your hand…" Saitama muttered. Mitsumi calmed him with chuckle and pressed into him.
"Don't worry. A handshake is fine. If it's more, a fan will likely take off his arm," she grinned softly. Saitama nodded and pulled her close to give a loving kiss to her mouth. The cart was fully inspected by Tacki, and now they were able to settle into it.
"We need more cushions," Saitama said. Kamiko was able to collect them, and they ensured there was another blanket to help cover anything if there was an issue. "This should work. Also, my parents plan to be there. Where's my phone? In case they call, that is, to find us."
"Here," Zenchu gave it over. Inichi's bubble soon appeared around the small group after the apartment was locked up to speed them all to the night market without further delay.
