Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Sailor Stars: Rebirth

Act 7: A Brilliant Flash of Light

Sora Kazeno

Suddenly Usagi doesn't feel anything beneath her. Jadeite knocked her off the roof and planed on having her fall face down to her death. She can vaguely hear Jadeite taunting the other senshi.

She starts to come to her senses and realizes she is falling. She opens her eyes and everything is blurry. She has a throbbing pain in her chest from where she was attacked twice by Jadeite. His attack seemed to affect her more than she thought.

She hears a voice she doesn't recognize at first. It's crystal clear as if the person is falling besides her. "It is not your time yet Sailor Moon. No. Tsukino Usagi, you have too much to accomplish in this life but you have to transformation. Your true awakening is imminent."

The voice starts to come into focus; did she hear this voice before? It reminds her of the one she heard when Chibi Chibi became the Light of Hope. The voice that asked her to not give up is now encouraging her to transform and fight. She knows what she has to do, despite how hard everything seems.

She raises her brooch above her head with confidence. She can save herself in this moment. She just has to be able to fly on her wings. "Moon Eternal, Make Up!" Prism colors, ribbons, and feathers surround her body as she becomes the heroine everyone expects her to be. When she finishes her transformation, she has full feathered wings this time. She shifts her position and she is now upright instead of face down. She pauses for a moment, suspended in the air. Her eyes look upward at the roof. She has to save the others. She has to protect them. A trail of feathers falls behind her and she flies to the top of the building, ready to fight Jadeite. Her uncertainty is gone.

Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna continue to struggle against the vines in vain. No matter what they try, they cannot break them. Until they are free they cannot transform or help their Princess.

A dazzling light flashes from the side of building; the same location where Usagi was blasted off the roof.

"Hmm?" Jadeite turns around unsure of what could have caused such a bright flash at this time of day.

Sailor Moon lands halfway between Jadeite and the edge of the roof. Her full set of wings shrink to their normal size.

His eyes narrow, he should have finished her off. "You've grown stronger Sailor Moon. I didn't think you had it in you to save yourself."

"A lot has changed in the past couple of years. All of us have become stronger, strong enough to put an end to your evil plan! For love and justice, I am the sailor suited pretty senshi, Sailor Moon! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

He smirks. With a wave of his hand he summons six youma to attack. He looks at the Outers. We could leave them tied up to the vines, but it would be more fun to see them fight and struggle when they are so weak. He has more than enough energy for now. "I've drain most of your energy for the Dark Kingdom." He released them from the vines and the three women fall to the ground as their weight is no longer being supported. He leaves to ensure the energy he collected for Queen Beryl is received.

The women stand up with their transformation wands in their hands. But they feel a lot weaker than they originally thought. Any movement makes them feel exhausted but they will protect their Princess until their last breath.

"Uranus Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Neptune Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"Pluto Crystal Power, Make Up!"

"We've got this now Princess," Sailor Uranus tries to sound as confident as she can while using a lot of her strength just to stay standing.

"No," Sailor Moon argues back. "You've all lost a lot of energy and it's too dangerous for you. I can stop the youma." She gestures with her hand and her Moon Stick appears.

Sailor Pluto smiles. "It has never stopped us before from protecting you." She leans on her staff slightly, relying on it to keep her balance.

"I can handle it!" Sailor Moon protests; she wants to show them she doesn't always needs to be protected.

"It is our duty to protect you, no matter the circumstances," Sailor Neptune explains, she raises her hands above her head to summon her attack. It is more difficult than she anticipated.

Three youmas rush in the direction of the Outer Senshi, specifically at Neptune since she is standing closest to the creatures.

"World Shaking!" Seconds after Sailor Uranus slams the ball of energy into the ground, she stumbles backwards a few steps until she falls onto her butt, feeling the rest of her energy pass through her with that attack.

Sailor Moon goes into attack mode. The three youma are blasted back, giving her just enough time to summon her power to finish off the youmas. "Moon Healing Escalation!" The three youma are surrounded by energy from the Moon Stick and turn back to red vines for a moment before becoming dust.

"Dead Scream." Sailor Pluto attacks two of the youma.

Sailor Neptune tries again. She has to do something to protect the others and Sailor Moon. She digs deep and is able to summon her remaining energy and channel it into an attack. "Deep Submerge!"

The two attacks hit the remaining youma, knocking them to the ground.

Sailor Moon gathers energy into her Moon Stick again and defeats the remaining youma. She looks down at the wand in her hand. Has the wand always been this powerful or has her powers grown that much? When did she become so strong? Luna's words echo in her mind, her power is based on how strong her heart is. Right now she feels confident they can stop Jadeite and Polaris. But Queen Beryl…? She frowns. What if she can't win?

Her attention is redirected to the three Outer Senshi kneeled on the ground. They are too weak to even stand up. The vines had zapped most of their energy and it took whatever they had left to attack the youma to help Sailor Moon. She runs over to them to make sure they aren't injured.

"We're fine," Sailor Uranus continues to downplay how weak she actually feels.

Sailor Neptune smiles at her the best she can, "we're just a little tired."

"We will be fine after a little rest," Sailor Pluto assures Sailor Moon. She hides the frustration she feels. The three of them were caught off guard and the Princess could have been severely injured or killed. "I'm glad you were able to transform in time."

"Yeah…" Sailor Moon quietly responds; her thoughts wander back to the voice she heard. True awakening? What did that mean? This is supposed to be her most powerful from as a senshi and it is still years before she becomes Neo Queen Serenity. She pushes it to the side; maybe she imagined it when she blacked out from Jadeite's attack. She places a hand on her chest where she was blasted. Something still felt off but she can't describe it.

"We should take you home," Sailor Uranus offers as she struggles to stand back up on her feet. She grips her head tightly. If she feels this dizzy, driving will be dangerous.

Sailor Moon slowly pulls her brooch off her fuku and opens the lid. She hasn't used the crystal in this way before but she hopes it will help them. "Moon Crystal Power!" The red star in the center flashes with pink light. Washes of energy wash over the Outer Senshi.

The three senshi can feel some of their energy return. The weakness they feel is disappearing as they become stronger.

The pink energy from her brooch fades as she realizes she has done all she to restore their energy at this time. Sailor Moon now staggers for a moment to catch her footing. She closes her eyes and inhales deeply a few times. When she opens her eyes she doesn't feel dizzy anymore and the three Outer Senshi are now standing on their feet.

"Princess?" Sailor Neptune gasps as she can feel some of her power now flowing through her. Pure raw energy.

"I'm fine." Sailor Moon smiles at them reassuringly. She had felt weak for a moment but then she felt a surge of energy that seemed to come out of nowhere. It must have been her desire to help her friends that fueled the power of the crystal.

"Good," Sailor Uranus responds and after visibility checking her over for any issues. "But don't do something so dangerous again."

Sailor Moon blinks at her in confusion. "How was that dangerous? The youma are gone and you needed my help. I will always help someone in need." She doesn't understand by Sailor Uranus would be frustrated with her for helping them. It is what she always done as a senshi; it is what anyone else would have done.

Sailor Pluto eyes Sailor Moon carefully. "I have never seen you use the crystal to restore someone's energy before." She is unsure if Neo-Queen Serenity had ever done this either.

"But it is not unheard of. Mamo-chan used his energy to keep Chibi Usa alive when her pure heart crystal was taken." Sailor Moon reflects on the battle against Mistress Nine whom they later saved and reverted back to Hotaru. She eventually became Sailor Saturn. "I feel like I've done this before…" Sailor Moon touches her brooch for a moment.

"Her powers are growing," Sailor Uranus whispers to Sailor Neptune.

"Hmm." Sailor Neptune agrees not taking her eyes off the Princess. "Hopefully it will be enough for the challenges that await us."

Haruka drops off Usagi back at her home.

"Thank you for the ride," Usagi bows as she closes the car door.

"We'll be in touch," Haruka states before driving off with Michiru and Setsuna.

Usagi turns around after the car is no longer in sight. She pauses to look at her parent's home. She sighs, wishing things could go back to the way they were a few weeks ago. She was a normal high school student for almost a year, what she has always dreamed of. She would never wish to not be a senshi… if it wasn't for Sailor Moon; she never would have met the other girls, or even Mamoru. Well, maybe she would have met Mamo-chan since she ran into right before she became Sailor Moon, but they probably won't be together right now. It is her destiny to fight and protect this Earth.

Thinking of the first time she met Mamo-chan, she reflects of how she threw a test over her shoulder and it happened to hit him on the head. She smiles but it is short lived when she recalls her new test score. She sighs. Mamo-chan is going to want to know how she did after he helped her study. Her mother always seems to know when she has a test.

Quietly taking her shoes off, she makes her way to her bedroom to start today's assignments. She pulls everything out of her bag after changing out of her school uniform. She looks at the papers and frowns. Her stomach grumbles. She turns around to face the clock on the bookcase by her bed. She has at least two hours until dinner is ready. "Well I wouldn't have a lot of time to do my work anyway." Usagi smiles. She goes out of her room to grab the cordless phone from downstairs before walking back upstairs. After closing the door, she dials Mamoru's number. It rings several times before going to voicemail. "Hi Mamo-chan…" Usagi starts her message. "I um got my test score back and I wanted to talk you about how I did and um… the parts that I didn't get right. It was okay…" she rambles on the message. "Thank you for helping me the other day… um…. I'll talk to you soon!" She quickly hangs up. She doesn't know why but whenever she ends up leaving a voicemail she tends to ramble.

She puts the phone down on the table. She looks at her homework again and then laughs. She grabs the phone again and calls Rei instead.

"Usagi! You were supposed to be with us after school." Rei complains on the other end. "We were going to do a fire reading. But I couldn't concentrate since I was so annoyed with you ditching us."

"I didn't ditch you!" Usagi shouts back. "Haruka-san and Michiru-san showed up and they said they really needed to talk and before I knew it they drove off with me."

"…. Usagi. How do you accidently get into a car and be driven off?"

Usagi teardrops. "It all happened so fast!" Usagi places a hand behind her head in embarrassment. "How did everything go?"

"We didn't learn anything new unfortunately." Rei glumly responds. "What did Haruka-san and Michiru-san want?"

Usagi's remember Setsuna's warning. "Just making sure I was okay and wanted to know if we knew anything else about the enemy." Usagi tiptoed around the others parts of their discussion. "They don't seem to have any other leads other than this is going to be really dangerous."

Rei sighs. "Of course it's dangerous. It's Queen Beryl. Usagi, what we are facing right now is only the beginning…." Her voice trails off when images of everyone's death flashes across her mind.

Usagi picks up on the change of tone in Rei's voice. "Rei-chan, what is really going on?" There is a pause before Usagi continues. "Why haven't we found Queen Beryl yet… what is she waiting for?"

"I was hoping we would have seen something today… the fact that I can't… it makes me worried. Listen Usagi, the other girls are still here. Did you want to stop by for a fire reading?" Rei asks.

"Sure. I'll be there soon. I can tell everyone about the youma that attacked us too." Usagi grabs her brooch and her purse.

"You were attacked? And now you're just saying something?" Rei screeches at her over the home.

"Um… yeah. But we're okay. I'll explain everything as soon as I get there." Usagi quickly hangs up the phone with a sigh. Yeah, maybe she should have mentioned that to Rei at the beginning of the conversation. She pauses to grab her book bag. The staple excuse of why she is running out to see the other girls.

Taiki puts down his pen. After several days of research, he final has the information he needs. Yaten and Seiya are playing guitars in the background. He waited for them to finish a section. "I think I know when the enemy will attack."

His statement grabbed the attention of the other two band members.

"What did you find out?" Seiya asks, putting his guitar to the side of the couch. He and Yaten had patrolled Juuban earlier that evening and found nothing.

"Within the next week the Sun is expected to emit a large solar flare but the exact time and output is still too far away to accurately predict." Taiki begins to explain.

"What does that mean?" Yaten asks, not understanding why this is significant.

"A solar flare will emit excess energy onto the Earth and our current opponent seems to be collecting energy." Taiki points out the connection.

"A solar flare isn't something we can stop," Seiya comments with his hands crossed against his chest. This is not information he was hoping for. He knew Taiki was working on something the past couple days.

"All we can do is attempt to pinpoint the time and where the energy will peak. Without finding the enemy, this is all we can do, short of wait for them to attack." Taiki gets up from his chair at the counter and sits down on the couch next to Yaten.

Seiya stands up abruptly. "I know this is the best lead we have so far but we're still just waiting around for an attack." His voice softens slightly. "It's just like last time."

"This mission is just like all the others we had. We defeat the enemy and return home," Yaten picks up the guitar again. "Nothing else we can do but wait. We didn't find anything when we went an hour ago."

"Yaten is right," Taiki stands to walk over to the keyboard. "Music always helps pass the time."

Rei, Makoto, Minako, Usagi, and Ami sit before the Great Fire after Usagi tells the girls what happened against the youmas and how she managed to restore some of the senshi's energy.

Rei is in deep concentration, feeling the nearby heat of the flame on her skin. She tries again and for a split second sees an image of Sailor Moon fighting youmas with all of the senshi. Rei stumbles to her feet.

"Did you see something Rei-chan?" Ami asks.

Rei slowly nods her head. "It wasn't much. It was all of us fighting youma. And by all of mean us, I mean Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, Saturn, and the Starlights, fighting youma. The image faded too fast before I could make out anything else." The girls are silent while they walk back to Rei's room.

"I think it means that we will all fight together." Makoto looks at the other girls, hoping they would interpret it the same way.

Usagi nods her head. "I just glad we can all work together." She smiles slightly. "I'm hoping there won't be any more issues with working together with the Starlights." Usagi adds softly.

"I'm glad to see the Three Lights are back but they seem more distant than they were before. Did something happen to upset them?" Minako wonders out loud.

"They always seemed kind of distant. Well… at least to me." Makoto looks over at some of the other girls. "But I was never really close to any of them."

"I agree with Minako-chan… they do seem different this time." Ami agrees while she sits down at the large table in Rei's room. She pulls out her books by force of habit since in the past few years they have studied a lot here for exams.

"Seiya seems different too…" Usagi reflects.

"They seemed so concerned for our safety at first and now they're barely around." Rei leans back against her bed.

Usagi becomes alarmed. "Did something happen to them when they returned home?" She looks back and forth at her friends for any sign she might be right. The girls shrug their shoulders at Usagi. After all, the only ones that could answer that question are the Starlights.

"It's probably an adjustment to be back here. When you think about it, their planet was destroyed by Galaxia and they came here to find their Princess. They must have been here for a while since they became so popular. Do you remember when you first heard their music?" Makoto asks the other girls.

"A while ago…" Minako recalls. She turns to Ami. "What about you Ami-chan, you have the lowest fan club member number. You must have found their music first between all of us."

"Umm… I guess it would be before we faced any of the Animates." Ami tries to recall. "I would have to look for some paperwork to see when I joined the fan club."

"Then they find their Princess and go back home, leaving behind the life they built here." Rei adds softly. "That has to be hard to just drop everything to go somewhere else. Whether it was when they first came here or when they returned home." She keeps the last thought to herself that one of them seemed hesitant to leave.

"Yeah…. When my dad was transferred from London to here, it was rough. It happened when I was nine…" Minako thinks about her own experience and the day they all moved back to Japan after being away for several years. "I remember struggling the most with kanji coming back. We always spoke Japanese in the home and then English at school… but I was in basic English classes to learn the language better and when you don't use it, you lose it!" Minako laughs a little.

"Minako-chan, have you been back there since?" Ami asks, trying to have a better understanding of what it is like to move around. If things go well after graduation, Ami would have a similar experience and study abroad.

Minako shakes her head no. "I kept in touch with a few friends for a while but they eventually stopped writing." Her eyes are downcast as she calls the friends she made overseas. "But if I didn't come back to Japan, I never would have awakened as Sailor V and found you guys." She looks at her best friends in the room. "It was really hard when I left at first but given everything I gained, I wouldn't change it for the world."

Usagi listens to their conversation. She never considered how hard it would be to fit into a new place for a long time. Mamo-chan might have experienced something similar when he began his studies if he hadn't been attacked by Sailor Galaxia. If Mamo-chan returns to America next year for school and she goes with him, it would be a similar situation for her. She has to figure this out. "I'll talk to Seiya tomorrow and see how they are doing. I never thought being back here could be hard. I just thought they would be happy to be back."

"Are you sure that's a good idea Usagi-chan?" Makoto is worried about what issues might be brought up.

"It will be fine!" Usagi brushes off Makoto's concern. "What is the worst that could happen?"

Usagi sighs loudly. The break from the nightmares didn't last long. This time it was reliving the fight against Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. She woke up twenty minutes before her alarm. Since she is now wide awake, she gets ready for school. She vows to not let the nightmare show. She was able to sleep most of the night.

She arrives at school a little early and decides to use the extra time to talk to Seiya. She reflects on the past few days. The girls are right; they do seem distant which is bothering her. She was so excited to see them again and work as a team but she sees them mostly at school.

Seiya is already seated in the classroom. She sits down and turns around to face him. "You seem really quiet. Is everything okay?" Usagi asks suddenly.

Seiya stiffens at the unexpected question. "I'm fine," Seiya responds looking at her with an eyebrow arched.

"Hmph." Usagi said looking at him. "I thought you were the one that didn't want to keep secrets." Usagi leans in closer to his desk with a knowing look on her face. She doesn't believe his answer.

He leans back slightly in his chair putting more distance between the two of them. "Some things have just changed. That's all. People change over the course of a year." He pauses to look at her. "You mean to tell me you're exactly the same as when you were last year?"

"Of course!" Usagi exclaims nodding her head to emphasize her point.

Seiya becomes more serious. "You seem sadder than you were last year, even though everyone is around. It's because of those nightmare, isn't?"

Usagi inhales sharply. He can still read right through her. That hasn't changed. "I… well… they haven't been as bad recently." She shakes her head not wanting to think about the nightmares for another second. They all survived. "But what about you, what has changed?" She redirects the topic back to Seiya.

"Well… we've been gone for almost a year working on our home. Everything is starting to fall into place and then suddenly we are coming back to a place we never thought we'd see again."

"You never thought you'd be back here…?" Usagi repeats slowly trying to process the information. "Why would you think that? All of you are always welcome here."

"But it's not where we belong Odango." Seiya finally admits out loud. It is something he is finally beginning to understand since he returned to Earth. "We came here on a mission and once it was completed it was time was us to return. It is the same this time too." His voice is softer. "It is rough wanting to be in two places at once."

Usagi appears she doesn't quite understand what Seiya is saying or implying. "You can be anywhere you want." She smiles brightly. "Except when it comes to school, you always have to be school. Or you'll get yelled at."

Seiya teardrops. "Seriously…" He mutters to himself. He pauses. The world she is originally from was destroyed and she was reincarnated with everyone. Based on what he learned at the previous senshi meeting, there was no go backing for her. She couldn't belong in two different worlds. She only has this one. He redirects the topic back to Odango. "Nightmares aside, you're different too."

Usagi no longer looks so happy. "It's the enemy we are facing. She is the reason I awoke as a senshi. The final battle against her… was horrible. I had no one." She bites her lip when she can feel a few tears form. "At least when we fought Chaos, the Starlights were with me until the very end."

"You stopped Chaos. Without you, this world wouldn't exist. None of this would."

Usagi looks at him wide eyes for a moment. "I never thought of it like that…."

"You are the strongest person I know," Seiya complements her. "But… you don't seem as happy as you used be. I thought having everyone back; including your boyfriend, would make you happy." He purposely mentions her boyfriend to try to distance himself. Mamoru should be the one protecting her. But at the same time, if Seiya is around Usagi, he is not going to stand around and let her be injured.

"Yeah…. Everyone came back… but not everyone stayed…." Usagi murmurs.

Before Seiya could ask anything else, the teacher entered the room to begin more classes.

Usagi turns around to try to focus on the lessons.

Seiya sighs in his seat behind her. What did she mean not everyone stayed? Did she actually understand what he was saying a few minutes ago and she pretended she didn't?

"This reminds of when we waited for Galaxia to attack. We know the planet and everyone is in danger but we can't do anything to stop it." Taiki comments quietly to Yaten after the school day ended.

"I don't like it either. The Oracle warned us about this danger. But everything we've seen so far, they seem to be able to handle. Maybe it was mistake?" Yaten asks flicking a few bangs out of his eyes.

"I don't think it's a mistake. It makes me worried for what is next. We stopped the Animates before, but at the same time we knew Galaxia was nearby," Seiya adds walking over to his two teammates.

"I'm sure if the others knew where the enemy is they would have attacked them. But we can't attack an enemy if we can't find them." Taiki counters. His eyes are focused on Minako, Makoto, and Usagi talking quietly in the front of the classroom.

"Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Saturn already tried." Yaten stop talking when he realizes the three girls are now approaching them.

"I'm surprised to see you here. You guys usually left right after the bell ended to rush off somewhere." Minako tries to start a conversion with her favorite idol group.

Taiki is surprised she hasn't realized the main difference. "We don't have a busy schedule like we used to, only the one charity concert and a media event in a few days for the promotion of the concert."

Yaten frowns. "Wasn't the photo shoot enough? A media event? You didn't tell us about this before."

"Yes he did, you weren't paying attention." Seiya eagerly reminds Yaten.

Yaten sighs loudly.

Ami approaches Taiki. "I never had a chance to properly thank you for helping Misa-chan and encouraging her before her surgery. She's fully recovered now."

Taiki smiles at the good news. "I should also be thanking Misa-chan. After I saw her artwork that resembled our Princess, I knew our message was being heard."

Usagi's stomach makes it known it needs food. "I'm so hungry…" Usagi whines, leaning against the desk. She is acting as if she will wither away any second if she doesn't receive something to eat.

"Rei-chan is waiting for us at Crown," Makoto responds with a teardrop. "You can order food there."

Usagi smiles brightly at the mere mention of food. She turns to the Three Lights. "You should come with us! We've barely seen you outside of school."

The Three Lights exchanges glances with each other.

"You should tell them about the theory you came up with last night Taiki." Seiya adds. He knows by wording it this way the other girls would hound Taiki until he reveals his theory. "Then would be as good of a time as any."

Yaten glares at Seiya. "If we run into some crazy fans, I am blaming you."

"It's a good idea," Taiki keeps his answer short and simple. He picks up his book bag and nods to the others. "But I'm not sure where this place is."

A few blocks away from Crown, they find eight youmas stealing the energy of everyone around.

"Mercury Crystal Power!"

"Jupiter Crystal Power!"

"Venus Crystal Power!"

"Moon Eternal!"

"Make Up!"

"Fighter Star Power, Make Up!"

"Healer Star Power, Make Up!"

"Maker Star Power, Make Up!"

Sailor Moon is annoyed. "You've delayed us from getting some much needed snacks after working really hard in school all day. It's unforgivable! For love and justice, I am the sailor suited pretty senshi, Sailor Moon! In the name of the Moon, I'll punish you!"

The other senshi surrounding her teardrop at her choice of words.

"Is snacks all she cares about?" Sailor Star Maker comments to the others around her.

"When she's hungry, yes." Sailor Venus nods her head several times.

While they are distracted by Sailor Moon's antics for wanting snacks, the youmas charge at the senshi.

The Starlights easily jump out of the way.

"Star Sensitive Inferno!"

Sailor Star Maker and Sailor Star Fighter attack other youmas nearby.

"Sailor Moon, now!" Sailor Jupiter directs the Princess, before attacking a few of the other youma. "Jupiter Oak Evolution!"

Sailor Moon doesn't hesitate to summon her Moon Stick. She directs her attack at the youma there were hit by the Starlights' attacks. "Moon Healing Escalation!" White light leaves the wand and surrounds the youma. As the energy waves wash over them the three turn into red vines and then to dust. She looks over at the five remaining youma the other senshi are fighting. She can handle this, it's only youma and they are not very strong.

Sailor Moon loses her footing as she is suddenly slammed into a tree. The wind is knocked out of her lungs and her wand falls onto the ground. She slowly slumps down to the ground.

"Sailor Moon!" Several of the senshi shout after seeing her knocked to the side.

Jadeite appears next to the fallen senshi, he bends down to grab her discarded wand.

"Star Serious Laser!" Sailor Star Fighter launches her attack at Jadeite, the person that hurt Sailor Moon. She can't let that man take away Sailor Moon's wand.

Jadeite backs away from Sailor Moon to prevent being hit by the bright light, missing his chance to grab the wand. His eyes narrow. "You will pay for that."

Sailor Star Healer and Sailor Star Maker appear next to Sailor Star Fighter.

"Three against one, I'd say you're out numbered," Sailor Star Healer smiles trying to intimidate the general.

"You're stronger those other senshi." Jadeite comments. "You'll get your turn. All of you will, very soon." He snaps his fingers and vines shoot out from the ground trying to trap the Starlights but they were too fast and anticipated an attack.

Fighter uses this chance to check on Sailor Moon and purposely lands close to her. "Are you alright?"

Sailor Moon slowly nods her head while placing her right hand behind her head. She knows a lump is going to form where she hit the tree. "Yeah…" Sailor Moon finally responds. She opens her eyes, frantically looking for her wand. She just received it back, she can't lose it now. She reaches for her wand on the ground.

The three Inner Senshi are outnumbered by the remaining youma.

"He is testing us, trying to understand how powerful we are," Sailor Star Maker comments once she realizes Jadeite had vanished. "Somehow this is all part of their plan."

"We have to help the others!" Sailor Moon exclaims getting to her feet. She wobbles a few steps before she regains her balance. She is determined to help the others, to save them from the youma.

"Mercury Aqua Rhapsody!"

"Venus Love and Beauty Shock!"

The three senshi are breathing hard. They felted relief when Jadeite vanished. Sailor Mercury used her visor to confirm he wasn't lurking in the shadows somewhere. All they have left are the remaining youma.

"Moon Healing Escalation!" Sailor Moon blasts white energy at two more youma and they turn into dust. She pauses after her attack. Rubbing the back of her head, she feels a little dizzy from the injury she just received. She pushes through it. She has to. It's the only way to move forward.

"Star Gentle Uterus!" Sailor Star Maker attacks a youma at full power and the youma explodes into dust.

Sailor Star Healer smiles. "It's been a while since we could really cut loose and use our full power against an enemy." These youma were never human, so they didn't have a body to save like the phages. "Star Sensitive Inferno!" Her attack hits the youma from behind. It never stood a chance and turns to dust.

While the Starlights attack the remaining youma, the three Inner Senshi use this chance to catch their breath, thankful for their assistance.

"Star Serious Laser!" Sailor Star Fighter defeats another youma.

Sailor Moon clutches her wand tightly in her hand. All the youmas are gone. She tried so hard to not be a burden to any of the others. She feels a little better she was able to help everyone this time, until the enemy attacked her. She looks over at the other senshi; none of them are hurt.

"Usagi-chan, are you okay? You look like you hit that tree kind of hard." Sailor Jupiter approaches the Princess with Mercury and Venus close behind her.

Sailor Mercury talks a quick look at her head. "It doesn't look like anything serious, but it will probably hurt for a day or two."

Sailor Moon sighs; another injury from a battle.

"You've grown stronger," Sailor Star Maker complements Sailor Moon's abilities.

"But not strong enough," Sailor Moon responds with her eyes shut tightly. If she was strong enough, Jadeite never would have attacked her and she wouldn't have collided with a tree. She feels like she has a long way to go in order to stop Queen Beryl for good.

Sailor Star Fighter doesn't say anything but she notices the sadness in Sailor Moon's voice. She reflects on their brief conversation they had before school started. The blonde haired girl next to her is dreading this battle more than anything.

Before Sailor Moon can say anything else, her stomach grows loudly causing her to laugh awkwardly. "I still need some snacks." As if on cue to emphasize her point, her stomach growls even louder than before.

The three Inner Senshi teardrop.

"We should be going; I'm sure Rei-chan is waiting for us." Sailor Mercury mentions while reverting back to Ami.

Rei takes another sip of her hot tea. She finished one cup already waiting for them. She could understand if the others showed up without Usagi. But no one was here yet.

"I'm sure they'll be here any moment," Mamoru comments placing his now empty coffee mug on the table. "If we don't hear from them soon, I'm going to look for them in case they ran into trouble."

Rei is about to respond when she sees the group enter Crown.

"I can't wait to eat so many snacks!" Usagi is ecstatic at the thought of all the food she is about to consume.

"I hope they don't run out of food here. I'm amazed the zoo had anything left by the time you were done," Seiya teases Usagi light heartedly.

"Seiya!" Usagi whines at him.

Seiya responds by laughing at Usagi's response. It was so easy to rile her up and so much fun.

"I'm sorry we're late," Ami bows slightly and apologizes. "Mamoru-san, I didn't know you would be here as well."

"Eh?" Usagi turns around after hearing his name. "Mamo-chan!" She exclaims happily as she rushes over to the booth and plops down next to him. "I didn't know you were going to be here today. I thought you were working on a research paper."

"I finished it earlier in the day and ran into Rei-chan when she was on her way here." Mamoru explains. "I'm glad to see you left on time today," He smiles at her.

Usagi pouts at him. "I'm not always …late."

Everyone teardrops at Usagi.

She laughs. "Yeah… well I try." Usagi grins.

The girls file in around the edges, leaving the Three Lights sitting across from them, their backs to the door. It will be either a blessing or a curse.

Seiya realizes he is sitting directly across from Usagi and reminds himself not to stare at her the entire time. He waits until they order food. "Taiki has a theory…"

Yaten interrupts, "on this Queen…" he trails off, not able to recall the new adversary's name.

"Beryl." Taiki finishes for his teammate.

The girls inch forward in their seats not wanting to miss anything.

"I've been trying to find her without any success." Ami eyes Taiki carefully. She hates the idea of her school rival now finding an answer before her when it is related to senshi business. She has always been the one everyone looks to for answers.

Minako stares at Rei on the other side of her to convey a look regarding Ami and Taiki acting like rivals again, fighting to be the first one to have the correct answer. She didn't anticipate it would overlap with senshi duties.

"What is your theory?" Mamoru asks, wanting to end the battle as soon as possible. He has heard a lot about the three men across the table from him during his talks with Usagi. He knows that his fiancée trusts them completely and even though they are relatively strangers to him due to limited interactions, he wants to work together with them.

"Sometime in the next week or so, scientists are predicting a large solar flare." Taiki begins.

"Solar flare…?" Usagi looks at him confused.

"A solar flare is when solar radiation is expelled from the Sun and travels to Earth. It can disrupt communication." Ami tries to explain to Usagi as simply as she can. She turns to Taiki, "I'm not sure why you are concerned. This is common on this planet. They have never been…" Ami stops suddenly and her eyes widen. She pulls out her mini computer and begins to type furiously on the keyboard.

Minako looks back and forth from Ami and Taiki. "Aren't usually what…?

"Dangerous." Seiya finishes.

"Deadly," Ami corrects him, not looking up from her screen. She continues to type for a few more minutes before she slowly looks up at Taiki. "I never thought of this as a possibility. But it would make perfect sense."

Usagi's eyebrow twitches. "I don't understand."

Mamoru lets a sigh as he now understands why this is so significant. "Queen Beryl is collecting energy for something. A solar flare would release a high amount of energy on the planet."

Rei's lips tighten for a moment before she responds. "She could harness that energy and use it against us."

Makoto clenches her hands into fists onto the table. "And there is no way to stop a solar flare is there?"

Ami shakes her head no.

"No," Taiki verbally responds.

"So everything we've done… and we still can't stop her." Usagi whispers. They have to wait until Queen Beryl appears and after she has grown stronger.

"We still have time Usako," Mamoru tries to comfort her. "If we can find Queen Beryl before the solar flare, we can stop before she gains more power." He tries to break the steps down so it sounds like a less daunting task.

"We won't find her on Earth." Rei suddenly realizes what they have been missing. "She's from the Dark Kingdom, she is from another dimension. Why wouldn't she stay there until she grows stronger?"

Yaten looks at everyone at the table. "I'm guessing none of you can travel between dimensions."

"Pluto might be able to." Mamoru considers the powers he has seen Sailor Pluto use.

Even though Seiya has told himself not to look at Usagi most of the time, he found it difficult, especially when seeing how down she appeared. He wanted to do something to cheer her up, but now is not the time.

Usagi was oblivious of Seiya's gaze. Mamoru was not. He remembered Seiya's words and understood their meaning when they were on top of the school building before they left for Kinmoku. He didn't think much of it at the time since they were about to return to their home planet. He decides as long as Seiya doesn't interfere with his relationship with Usako he can look the other way. He doesn't want to create any more friction. Usako is struggling enough. They have an enemy defeat and then they will be gone again.

"But what if Setsuna-san can't find Queen Beryl? Nothing was found at D Point." Minako points out in dismay.

"Then we keep searching until we find her," Rei challenges back. "Time is limited and we know she is around here somewhere."

Yaten lets his annoyance show. "Where else is there to look? We've been all over the city and found nothing." He, Taiki, and Seiya had spent countless hours trying to find the location of where the prophecy took place and each time, they are empty handed.

Seiya echoes Yaten's thoughts. "We can't even pinpoint the section of Tokyo from the premonition."

Usagi looks up at Seiya in surprise. "You didn't tell us you've been looking for Queen Beryl too." Is everyone doing their own thing and not telling her? Why is everyone excluding her? She is not that fragile! She tries to hide her frustration but her face still shows some of what she is feeling.

"We're not going to sit around and do nothing." Taiki justifies their actions. "We don't need permission to search for any enemy."

Makoto's eyes narrow. "What is that supposed to mean?"

"Sorry." Seiya immediately injects seeing how tense things were becoming between the two groups. The last thing they need is a fight between everyone when they were just starting to develop a plan. "I think what Taiki was trying to say is it an adjustment for us to work together with another group of senshi like this since we are used to working by ourselves."

There is a moment of silence before Makoto responds. "Just like Haruka-san and the others."

"We would never do what they did." Yaten retorts without hesitation. He doesn't want to be compared to them. Taking teammates starseed was too far.

Minako attempts to lighten the mood by repeating a proverb. "You know what they say, to keep your friends close and ignore your enemies!"

The group stares at her.

"You know, it's that famous saying by ZuZu!" Minako adds. Based on the others reaction at the table she knows she messed it up and laughs.

"Do you mean, keep your friends close and your enemies closer?" Ami corrects Minako.

Minako waves her hand at Ami. "It's practically the same thing!"

Everyone tears drops in response.

"And the name was SunTzu, no ZuZu." Rei clarifies. She eyes Minako. "You're as bad as Usagi!"

Usagi straightens up at the sound of her name. "I never mess up proverbs!"

"Just everything else…" Rei mutters. "This is why you have to pay attention in school, you'd know these things."

Usagi is about to retort but is interrupted by a trio of excited fangirls approaching the table.

"I can't believe we found the Three Lights!" A girl with bright red hair in a braid exclaims. She is wearing a Tokyo Jogakkan High School uniform. Her two friends next to her are wearing the same uniform. One has short blonde hair and the other has long silver hair.

The silver haired girl leans in closer to the Three Lights, "Can we get your autographs?" She has little hearts in her eyes as she looks at her favorite idol group.

Yaten is about to snap. Is there anywhere they can go and just be left alone? There are so many more important things that need to be discussed.

"This one time," Taiki interjects before Yaten can verbally respond. "But we won't be signing any more after since we are with friends." He needs the girls to leave as quickly as possible.

The three girls quickly give paper to the Three Lights for them to sign. The girl with red hair is practically jumping up and down while they are signing their names. Once they are done, the papers are passed back to them.

"Thank you!" The girl with short blonde bows quickly and then rushes off with her friends.

A group of five girls start to walk in the direction of the table. The three girls that just received autographs told them they aren't doing any autographs as they shoo the other girls away.

Taiki raises an eyebrow at Seiya. "We won't be as popular anymore, huh?"

Seiya shrugs and puts his hands up in the air.

"Though this time I wish you were right," Yaten comments looking at Seiya. He then turns to look at Taiki. "It's going to get worse because of that event you know."

Taiki glares at Yaten; he didn't need a reminder of how things will escalate once word spreads of their appearance in a charity event in a few days.

Seiya looks at the two of them glaring at each other and sighs. Usually Taiki is the one to keep the peace.

Ami's computer beeps several times. She gasps and quickly opens the device. Scanning the screen with her eyes her expression changes to one of concern.

"Did you find something Ami-chan?" Rei asks, no longer wanting to sit in silence staring at her friend.

"Yes…" Ami hesitantly responds and she keeps reading the screen. "It appears… there is new data regarding the Solar Flare. It is now predicted sooner." Ami pauses to look at her screen again. "That can't be right…"

"What did it change to?" Mamoru asks, a sense of dread setting in. Whenever Ami is that unnerved reviewing data it is a bad sign.

Ami's shoulders slump as she raises her eyes to look at her friends. "Friday."

"That's in two days," Makoto comments wide eyed. They went from having a week to two days.

Rei amends her statement from earlier. "Time is running out."

Taiki looks over at Seiya and Yaten. "We were originally given a longer estimate when we were on Kinmoku." The rapid change in the deadline they thought they had makes him uneasy.

"Maybe something changed in the Oracle's vision since we left," Yaten lowers his eyes to the table. He doesn't like the idea that most of the people at the table could be dying soon.

Seiya's eyes narrow. "Either way, we have to do something." He tries to push the images of everyone's death from his mind. He clears his throat. "If we don't have much time left… what can we do? No matter how farfetched the idea is, what can we do to stop this?" He looks at everyone else at the table.

The group is quiet, each member trying to brainstorm a way to protect the Earth and stop Queen Beryl.

They are quiet as their food arrives.

Late in the night, the Sailor Animates arrive on Earth.

Polaris watches the trail of light as it approaches, right on time from what her Master predicted. She waits until they have appeared and studies their appearances. The first one she sees is a woman with indigo hair, large butterfly wings, and in a bikini of sort with thigh high boots. To her side are two women with pale pink hair wearing some type of sun dress with a sailor collar. One wears a dress with a similar color to her hair and the other has a navy blue dress. The last two to appear are the ones in charge. They have lime green hair with various amounts of bangs and the rest of their hair tied back in a top bun, just like Galaxia. One wears a red jump suit with a sailor collar and the other a two piece black dress. The one in black has a golden staff. Each senshi before her adorns the golden bracelets of Chaos.

The one in black approaches Polaris, eyeing her carefully. "You must be the person Galaxia-sama said would greet us." She looks down at her wrists and notices they do not have bracelets nor a sailor collar. Her stance changes. "Who are you?"

"I am Polaris, a faithful servant of Galaxia-sama." She lies. "I assisted Galaxia-sama on this planet but I am not a senshi, just a person with dark magic." She turns it up a notch, looking down at the ground to try to display regret. "I was not strong enough to help Galaxia-sama and a senshi stronger that we ever imagined defeated Galaxia-sama only a few hours ago. She told me you would be coming and you would be able to complete her work, Sailor Chi."

Sailor Chi studies Polaris closely. "Why should we believe you?" Her suspicions from the other day increase her concerns.

Polaris gestures at the scenery behind her. "Look around this planet; does it look like a place where Galaxia-sama is thriving?" She pauses to let her words sink in. "Chaos was purged from her body but Chaos has hidden itself with another senshi, the one that will be able to finish Galaxia-sama's work." She takes a few steps forward. The senshi keep their positions. "Galaxia-sama wanted me to ask you find that senshi."

"Why should we help you?" Sailor Chi's hazel eyes flash dangerously. Her staff shifts from her side to in front of her, a stance she can use to attack at a moment's notice.

Polaris tries to suppress the smirk. They are questioning her as any warrior should. But she has to make them understand their role to complete her true Master's work. "It is not for me. It is to finish Galaxia-sama's work. To seek revenge against those that has harmed her."

Sailor Phi, dressed in red finally speaks up. "Why can't you?" She challenges.

"I do not possess the bracelets that you do to collect starseeds. I am not a senshi; I cannot be the one to fulfil Galaxia-sama's wishes." Polaris pleads with them, trying to figure out what else she can say to convince them.

The senshi in the navy dress clears her throat. "I'm willing."

Her comrades turn sharply to stare of her.

Sailor Lethe doesn't let their gazes deter her. "I can tell this planet has a lot more resources than where we were."

The senshi with butterfly wings nods her head in agreement. "Yes, I was growing bored of the other planet too," Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon comments.

Sailor Chi looks at the four senshi surrounding her. There is nothing left on the planet they left behind. This planet is full of life and resources they can use to their advantage. It may not be a wasted trip after all.

Sailor Phi, turns to Sailor Chi. "If what she says is true, we need to continue Galaxia-sama's work. And if we free Chaos, we may be granted stronger abilities than the ones we have now." She turns to face the others, the moonlight hitting her dress in just the right place to make it look dark green.

"The vessel is not ready yet." Polaris interjects. "Very soon this planet will be under attack and the invasion will fail. Once the invasion fails, the vessel will be at its most vulnerable state. That is when you must strike."

"How do you know who the vessel is?" Sailor Chi demands. Everything seemed to be lined up too easily.

Polaris shakes her head no. "I haven't been able to discover their identity yet. If I can find her before the invasion I will let you know but what I do know… the vessel is one of the …"

Haruka looks down at the city lights below their high rise apartment. She is unnerved after the phone call they received from Mamoru. Their theory about solar flares makes sense. She regrets they didn't come up with this theory sooner. She turns to faces her teammates. "We should go back to D Point tomorrow. Maybe we missed something."

"But the battle happens in Tokyo based on the Starlights premonition." Hotaru points out to Haruka.

"If we find them before they reach Tokyo, the better. I understand what Haruka is thinking," Michiru looks at Haruka for a moment before turning her gaze to Setsuna for a response.

Setsuna sighs. "It won't matter. I have a feeling this is supposed to happen but for what reason, I am uncertain." She quietly walks over to the large window next to Haruka.

"It's supposed to happen now?" Haruka looks at her sharply.

Setsuna doesn't turn to face the others as her arms are crossed again her chest. "Earth should have remained at peace until Mamoru-san and Usagi-chan ascend the throne. This is all new."

Hotaru, Michiru, and Haruka gasp at Setsuna's statement. This is different then what was said before. Her answer is more definitive.

"How… could this happen? You mentioned a possibility of a new path forming but once Queen Beryl is gone… the path should end as well, should it not?" Michiru walks over to Setsuna trying to understand what has changed.

"How this change occurred, I do not know. But this cannot be our main focus right now. If we don't stop Queen Beryl nothing else will matter; new path or not." Setsuna turns around to face the other senshi. "As soon as Queen Beryl is no longer a threat, we can focus on determining what this other path is and its potential outcomes."

"I think going to D Point in the morning would be our best chance," Hotaru agrees after listening to everyone else. "If she's not there then we have a lot of Tokyo to search."

Haruka, Michiru, and Setsuna nod their heads in agreement.

Usagi still feels a slight tightness in her chest ever since she was attacked by Jadeite, she writes it off as stress and nothing more. She has been under a lot of pressure before and has had the same feeling more than once in the past. She also had a similar feeling during her encounter with Chaos.

"Usako?" Mamoru calls her name again; she seems to be in her own world. He tries once more, louder this time, "Usako."

"Oh?" Usagi snaps to the present when she hears her name. "I'm sorry Mamo-chan… I was just thinking about everything we talk about today. Are we ready for this?" Her voice conveys her worry.

"Were we ever truly ready to face any enemy in the past?" He pauses for a moment before continuing. "But it always works out in the end Usako, the same will happen this time too."

Usagi looks down toward her shoes. "Yeah…" She is terrified this time will be the one it doesn't work out.

"I know we will prevail. This time will not be any different." Mamoru tries his best to reassure her. He has never seen her so anxious before a battle. Is this what happened when she fought Galaxia? How much has that battle truly affected her?

Usagi raises her head to look up at him, amazed by the confidence he displays. She wishes she could have even a fraction of that confidence. "I wish I felt the same way… I have a bad feeling about this."

"When everyone works together things always work out." Mamoru tries everything he can think of to comfort the woman in front of him. He puts his arm around her shoulders, "you'll have me to protect you."

Usagi's eyes widen as she experiences a sense of déjà vu.

Seiya stood up from his seat on the airplane to close the distance between them. He leans over slightly to speak to her softly. "I don't really know what's going on…"

Usagi gasps slightly as he moved closer to her. He places his arm around her shoulders, resting the top of his hand on her left shoulder. "But don't worry." His hand lightly squeezed her shoulder. "No matter what happens… I'll protect you. Okay?"

The blush creeped in her cheeks and she slowly nodded her head. She couldn't explain why she was so worried to Seiya. She didn't know he was a senshi at the time, she couldn't tell him she was terrified Sailor Aluminum Siren was going to attack everyone on the airplane to take her starseed. So much changed that day.

"Usako?" Mamoru doesn't understand the far off look in her eyes after he tried to reassure her and tell her he would protect her.

Usagi snaps back to the present. "Sorry." She apologizes meekly. Why was she thinking about something like that when she is with Mamo-chan? She shakes her head. She smiles slightly. "Yeah, we have to work together with everyone." She tries to ignore the uneasiness in her stomach.

Seiya looks around at the skyscrapers in Ginza. They have slowly been branching east of the Juuban, but after a while everything is starting to look the same. Can he even clearly remember the buildings they saw in the prophecy at this point? "It's not here either." He mutters looking around. In the distance he can see Tokyo Station.

"Tokyo has so many buildings, how can we hope to find the ones we saw in the prophecy?" Yaten vents his frustration. They need to figure out where this will happen. But Tokyo is so massive.

"What is the alternative?" Taiki shots back. He understands Yaten's frustration but he doesn't need to keep hearing it every block they pass. "Sit around and do nothing?"

Yaten sighs. "There was to be something more we can do!" His anger festers. "It's like waiting around for our Princess to appear." He pauses. "But it's worse… because we know those girls are going to die if we fail." Seeing them die in front of them against Galaxia was hard to take, especially since they were so willing to give their lives to protect them. He can only keep the front up for so long.

Taiki and Seiya turn to face Yaten, surprised by the sound of genuine concern is his voice.

"We won't let that happen," Seiya reassures him. "That is why we are here, to prevent everyone's death."

Taiki nods his head slightly. "We made the mistake with not working with the others from the beginning last time when we went against Galaxia." He pauses. "Surely this can't be as difficult as that."

"Underestimating the enemy is what could get everyone killed," Seiya cuts off Taiki. "Look at how everyone reacted to Queen Beryl's return. Have you ever seen the others act like this?"

"They seem mostly normal, except for Tsukino-san." Taiki responds slowly reflecting on the conversion from the shrine recently. "But she has seen a lot more than the others."

"Similar to how some of the people on Kinmoku reacted depending on how much they lost when Galaxia destroyed most of the planet." Seiya counters back. He is worried about Usagi but there is only so much he can do for her. He has kept himself more distant on purpose, trying to make it easier for when they leave Earth again.

A large sunspot continues to gather energy on the Sun. The energy crackles around a dark spot at the bottom of the largest star in the Milky Way. Energy that could have an explosive effect on Earth; the same energy Queen Beryl is waiting for. The amount needed for her to move forward with her plan to conquer Earth.

Magnetic energy on the Sun's surface continues to build. Normally such an occurrence would be seen as a normal event on Earth, but the Earth never had someone on trying to collect and harness its power.

Four men are bowed down in front of Queen Beryl. She is their master as she has just given them life. They wear nearly identical gray uniforms to Jadeite. Each uniform has different color piping around the edge. Queen Beryl dismissed them and they walk over to Jadeite and Polaris.

The first man to approach has jet black hair to his shoulder blades with pink piping on his uniform. He bows his head slightly to his seniors. "I am Sodalite." He doesn't say anything, sizing up the two before him.

The next man to approach has flowing emerald green hair to his waist. The piping on his uniform is yellow. He barely acknowledges Jadeite and Polaris. He appears as if he doesn't want to be here. "Danburite."

A man with light brown hair kept extremely short lingers behind his two comrades before him. His uniform piping is purple. "My name is Tanzanite."

The final man approaches the group. "Monazite, let's get this over with." He doesn't even bother with the pleasantries as he brushed some of his shoulder length pale pink hair behind his ears. His uniform piping is green.

Jadeite addresses them. "Tomorrow we will attack and when this is over, we will all be rewarded." He begins to review the detailed plan he has developed with Polaris to draw the senshi out.

The newcomers listen to their assignment carefully.

"Don't worry, we'll be ready," Danburite smiles.

Early the next morning, the four Outer Senshi return to D Point and discover everything is exactly how they left it last time.

Sailor Neptune looks in her mirror for any sign of a change. Nothing. She turns to her partner. "I don't think we will find anything here. Maybe we should…" She stops suddenly. She can sense an overwhelming surge of dark energy approaching.

Sailor Saturn clutches her glaive closer to her body. "Something or someone is coming." There is no mistaking this energy presence. It is not lingering from a previous battle, it is approaching them rapidly.

Sailor Uranus pulls out her talisman, her instincts tell her she is going to need it.

Sailor Pluto's eyes search their surroundings but all she finds is the powder white snow, nothing more. Then she sees it, specs of dark red approaching with increasing speed.

"Youma!" Sailor Uranus shouts, pointing at the cluster from straight ahead of her.

Sailor Saturn sees another group approaching her from her right. The youma are everywhere.

"It's an ambush!" Sailor Pluto shouts. They don't have enough time to teleport away. The youma will reach them first.

I finished NaNo early which meant I was able to start editing sooner, so this act was posted a bit sooner! I hope you don't mind. Yes, the title is a line from the DiC song, She's Got the Power. Just seemed really appropriate.

It looks like D Point wasn't so empty this time. A lot happened in this part to move the story forward! Who was speaking to Usagi as she was falling that helped her snap out of her daze? Why is she feeling a little weird after Jadeite's attack? Everyone has been blasted by dark energy before. Must be all that stress.

The battle is truly beginning, and it is going to be a long one! Find out what happens next in two weeks, 8/19 on Act 8: The Battle Rages On.
