A/N: I don't own Ouran High School Host Club or the Seven Deadly Sins. I own only my OCs and the plot.

This chapter has been updated (as of July 21st, 2023), as the reviewer FabyVane was kind enough to point out that I had accidentally uploaded the same chapter for chapters 8 and 9. Sorry about that! For anyone who read chapter 8 before July 21st, you might want to go back and read it now.

Honey POV

I rolled over sluggishly, snuggling further into my duvet and growling at the sun that dared to rise and make its way through my curtains. Curtains which I was pretty sure I had closed the night before…

"Mitsukuni." It was Takashi. That asshole must have been the one to open my curtains. I opened my eyes just the slightest crack, glaring with the full force of my anger and hostility. I could feel the dark waves of wrath emanating from my body.

"I'm. Sleeping," I growled menacingly before turning my back and closing my eyes, trying to relax back into my vanilla scented sheets.

"There's cake."

"…"

…Did I just hear what I thought I heard?! I flung my body out of bed, suddenly bright-eyed and bushy-tailed, beaming up at my cousin as flowers danced around my head.

"Takashi! Did you say there's cake?! Where is it? Can we go get some?" I asked eagerly, hopping from foot to foot.

"Once you're dressed and ready," he answered stoically, going to sit in the living area of my suite now that I was up.

I got ready in record time and bounced out to the living area to collect my cousin so I could finally eat the cake he mentioned.

He walked alongside me as I skipped down the hall humming happily. It was a beautiful sunny day and I got to start the day with cake! It doesn't get much better than this!

"Oh, sorry about earlier Takashi! I forgot I asked you to wake me up!" I apologized cheerily. I sure was lucky to have my cousin. I didn't know how else I'd ever wake up after late nights studying! Plus, he was the only one who could really handle me when I woke up. Apparently I could be really scary first thing in the morning.

"It's fine, I don't mind," he answered, holding back a yawn (though most people probably wouldn't have noticed. "Today's cosplay day," he reminded me absentmindedly.

"Hm? Oh yeah! I get to be dragon sin of wrath, Meliodas and you're gonna be my best friend, fox sin of greed!" I cheered excitedly.

And Emi-chan is going to be my Princess Elizabeth!

I blushed, thinking about the training Renge-chan had put us through, and the way I would have to interact with Emi-chan today. I had to admit though, that some part of me was looking forward to it.

I chose to ignore Takashi's knowing stare and instead focused on getting to my cake faster.

Emi POV

I stepped out of my last class for the day with a little extra pep in my step. Today was cosplay day so I would finally get to see the people I was coming to call friends. I had to admit that I had missed the hosts over the past few days, even those perverted twins.

I was a little apprehensive about the actual cosplay part though; I had no idea what to expect when it came to how the others, particularly Honey, would behave. I was pretty sure Honey wouldn't go around actually squeezing my breasts or stealing my panties the way Meliodas had with Elizabeth but I wasn't sure what he might do instead.

I slowed my steps as I approached the club room, suddenly in much less of a rush now that I was feeling anxious about all the possibilities.

I sighed, You promised Haruhi you'd do this so you can't back out now. Channel your inner Elizabeth.

I nodded my head determinedly and stepped forward, opening the club doors (avoiding the petals this time) and entering the large space.

I gasped in wonder. The entire space had been converted to look like the fairy forest from the show. Large trees stretched overhead, wildflowers sprouted here and there, and butterflies flitted to and fro.

How…?

"Ah, I see you've arrived Emi," I heard Kyoya's voice come from my right. I turned and gaped, not expecting to see him already in cosplay. He wore a magenta wig, his usual glasses behind which resided his now amber eyes, a white shirt with purple long sleeves, and dark pants.

"Oh, hi Ky- I mean hi Gowther," I corrected myself, figuring I better get used to the new names now, "Your costume is spot on!"

"Yes, I have the twins to thank for that. Speaking of which, I believe they are waiting for you in the changing rooms over there," he pointed.

"Gotcha, thanks, I'll head over there now then!" I responded, turning away and walking over to the changing room doors.

Just as I reached the curtain it opened and revealed a human-sized version of Diane. Haruhi had hair extensions that allowed her to have her hair pulled into two pigtails and was wearing a pink mini dress with white pompoms on the front. She was also wearing striking purple contacts to complete the cosplay.

"Haruhi! I mean Diane! Oh my gosh you look so cute!" I couldn't help but to squeal, restraining my urge to bounce up and down happily.

"Thanks Emi," she responded in her usual monotone voice, then seemingly trying to make an effort to get into character she tried again, "I mean, thanks! You really think so? Merlin made this for me!" She then proceeded to do the stiffest twirl I'd ever witnessed.

I sweatdropped. She tried, she really did, but poor Haruhi was clearly not much into acting or role play. Ah well, she still looks the part!

"That's great Diane! Um, I think the twins are waiting for me so I'll see you later!" I excused myself before entering the room she had just exited.

Inside there was a row of changing rooms hidden by yellow curtains, and in the center of the room was a makeup vanity, before which the twins stood apparently putting the finishing touches on Tamaki's cosplay. Tamaki was dressed as King, wearing a ginger wig, topaz-coloured contacts, navy pants, and an aqua and yellow vest over a navy long-sleeved shirt. In his arms, he was holding a big green pillow which I remembered to be King's weapon.

"Oh, hi Emi," Tamaki (King) greeted sedately, clearly already in character.

Huh, it's weird to see him sitting calmly.

"Hi King," I responded, "Looking good!"

I turned to the twins, "I already saw Gowther and Diane, you guys have really done a great job with the costumes!" I praised.

"Thanks!" they chorused, pulling back from adjusting Tamaki's wig, "It's your turn next! Your costume is in that blue garment bag over there. You can put on your costume first then we'll help you with your wig and contacts." They explained, pointing to a clothing rack that stood against the far wall.

"Perfect, thanks!" I exclaimed, grabbing the garment bag. I paused, "Hold on… how did you know my measurements?"

"Oh, well the last time you were here we were able to feel your measurements when you were pressed between us," Kaoru shrugged casually.

"What?!" Those pervs! Though… that's pretty impressive in a way…

"Yeah, did you think we pulled you into our brotherly love act just to mess with you?" Hikaru smirked, slinging an arm around his brother and leaning on him.

"Um… yeah, that's exactly what I thought," I responded bluntly, shaking my head in exasperation. I turned away, muttering to myself about the perviness of feeling me up for my measurements.

Once inside the changing room, I hung the garment bag up on the hook and pulled down the zipper. I was a bit worried that they would put me in one of Elizabeth's first two outfits which were a bit too revealing for me and which I was sure would have been extremely unflattering on my curvy self.

I exhaled in relief when I saw that they had actually chosen Elizabeth's druid outfit for me to wear; a blue minidress with a sort of white tube top/corset type thing overtop, and a gold sleeve of armour for my right arm.

I started by putting on the dress and was impressed to find that it actually fit me perfectly. It was really short though…

I quickly rummaged through my backpack and pulled out my trustee spandex bootie shorts in triumph. They were very short so they wouldn't go past my skirt, but if something did happen to blow my skirt up nobody would be seeing my underwear. Not today Satan… or I guess I should say 'Not today Meliodas'.

Having finished putting on the entire outfit, I looked at myself in the mirror. Well, I'm certainly no skinny white girl, but… I think I look kinda cute, decent at least!

I took a deep breath and exited the stall. The twins immediately zoomed over and started circling me.

"It's perfect! She looks sweet and innocent but also hot!" Hikaru assessed, causing me to blush.

"Yep. We've really outdone ourselves," Kaoru agreed with a self-satisfied smile. They paused their circling and stood in front of me, eyeing me critically.

"Um.. thank you… the costume is really well made!" I said awkwardly.

"But wait… is that another tattoo?" they asked, zeroing in on my left thigh, where there was indeed a large black-and-white sun and moon tattoo.

After a short inspection period they came to their conclusion, "Awesome! But we will have to cover it up with makeup though. After all, it doesn't fit in the cosplay."

"That's fine," I said as they led me to the makeup chair. We chatted about their process in choosing and making each of the costumes as they pulled out makeup and began expertly covering my tattoo. They had me put in one bright blue contact and one dark-gold contact with a triskele symbol in the middle. Once that was done, they started applying some light blush and tinted lip balm, as well as mascara. Finally it was time for the wig, a long silky-looking silver wig.

Wow, they definitely didn't cheap out on the wig!

After asking me to braid my natural hair, they pinned up my braids and were able to securely fit the wig on my head, completing my look. I had to admit, they did a fantastic job.

"Well, now that you're completely in costume, you have to stay in character from here on out!" they ordered, pulling whistles out of nowhere.

I took a moment to draw up my memories of Princess Elizabeth and then tilted my head cutely, silver hair swishing to the side, "Sure thing sir Hikaru, sir Koaru!" I bowed my head and smiled, "Thank you both so much for the work you've put into this."

"Aww! That was perfect! So cute!" Hikaru cried, pulling out a handkerchief to dab at his tears.

"So innocent!" Kaoru cried happily.

They pulled themselves together quickly and Kaoru said, "We still have to get into costume but Mori and Honey are already in character out there, so you should go join them to get a bit of practice interacting in character before the guests arrive."

"Alright! See you two soon!" I waved before walking out of the changing area, hair swishing behind me.

I kind of like this long hair thing, I mused.

It was then that I saw him. Yellow-blonde hair sticking up messily, green pants torn at the end as if he'd just been through battle, and toned arms exposed in a black tank top.

"Sir Meliodas…" I trailed off, hopefully sounding somewhat like Elizabeth.

Forget the sin of wrath, what about the sin of being ridiculously gorgeous?! I mean, look at those arms!

Big green eyes met my now bi-coloured eyes, and one side of his mouth lifted in a smile, "Hey Elizabeth! Lookin' good!" he greeted casually, sounding eerily similar to the real Meliodas.

I blushed. I was starting to remember the slight, make that rather large, crush I had had on Meliodas when I had watched the anime a couple of years ago.

Then I saw a tall spiky haired figure slouch up next to Honey-Meliodas, red leather pants slung low on his hips and abs showing below his cropped red leather jacket. I blushed again, meeting his red eyes in an attempt not to stare at his very obvious six pack.

"Sir Ban! Hello! It's so nice to see you," I greeted in Elizabeth's enthusiastic manner.

"Hey Princess," he responded, in a pretty accurate approximation of Ban's laid back drawl.

This is so weird… I feel like I'm in an alternate reality…

"So… how does this work? What do we do when the guests get here?" I asked, feeling completely out of my element. Dressing up was one thing, but hosting was a whole other kettle of fish.

"Oh, that. Well, we'll mostly just chat with them while staying in character," Honey-Meliodas shrugged.

"Maybe the Captain and I will put on a show later," smirked Mori-Ban, flexing his muscles.

I can't get used to this… this is so bizarre!

Kaoru's voice joined in from behind me, "As for you Elizabeth, your main roles will be as a waitress, healer, and Meliodas's companion." His voice was suave and sounded more like…

I turned, "Merlin?!"

Kaoru was indeed dressed as a male/androgynous version of Merlin, hipbones peeking out of his tight low-rise indigo pants. A long indigo fur-collared coat revealed his lightly toned stomach and chest, just barely covering his nipples. He wore a black shoulder-length wig and gold-coloured contacts. In short… He's really fucking hot!

"Oh, um, I mean thank you Lady- er Sir Merlin. You look great!" I stammered.

I swear to god, if they all go around looking this attractive I don't know how I'm going to survive this!

"Y-Yes, he does look wonderful doesn't he?" An oddly bashful sounding Hikaru responded, stepping up and revealing himself to be dressed as Escanor. Specifically, the night-time (petite) version of Escanor, with glasses covering his now blue eyes and a ginger mustache matching his natural ginger hair, which was combed down for the occasion. He wore a white button-down shirt, green trousers, a matching green waistcoat, and a red bowtie.

"Oh, hello Sir Escanor, you look great as well!" I beamed, clasping my hands behind me.

"Well, now that all of us have convened, I believe it's time for us to greet our guests," Kyoya-Gowther stated somewhat robotically.

All of us gathered in front of the double doors and posed as they opened, revealing a large gaggle of guests.

Tamaki-King glided forward, forward, "Welcome to the Fairy King's Forest, I'm King, grizzly sin of sloth."

Haruhi-Diane moved forward next, waving excitedly, "Hi! I'm Diane, serpent sin of envy!"

Kyoya-Gowther tilted his head, "Hello. I am Gowther, goat sin of lust. Sparkle."

I did my best not to burst into laughter, glad I happened to already be smiling.

Next Kaoru-Merlin stepped forward, chin lifted, "I am Merlin, boar sin of gluttony."

"A-and I'm Escanor, lion sin of pride," Hikaru-Escanor stumbled forward awkwardly and then had to be dragged back.

Mori-Ban stepped forward lazily, hands in his pockets, "Hey ladies, I'm Ban, fox sin of greed."

Finally, Honey-Meliodas strolled forward, arms folded behind his head, "I'm Meliodas, dragon sin of wrath, and together we make up the seven deadly sins!" He grinned cheerfully as the guests all gasped in delight.

He suddenly pulled out Usa-chan who had the cutest little pig costume on, "Oh, and this is Hawk, captain of the order of scrap disposal!"

I stepped forward, waving gently, "Yes, and I'm Elizabeth, the third princess of Liones."

Suddenly, the Meliodas look alike was standing in front of me with a chibi face, hands caressing the curve of my hips.

"Yep, this is definitely Elizabeth!" I heard guests squealing ecstatically in the background.

"Sir Meliodas!" I exclaimed, raising my hands to my face to hide my blush.

With all the introductions done, we all separated to our designated stations. Honey-Meliodas, Mori-Ban, and I were in a tavern-looking area, sitting at circular wooden tables with some guests. As I got up to get some non-alcoholic ales and meads for the guests, I spied Haruhi-Diane, Tamaki-King, and Kyoya-Gowther sitting in a circle with their guests, all sitting on different coloured poofs. Their area was particularly enchanting with mossy stumps and lots of butterflies flying around.

I turned my head, and saw that Koaru-Merlin was casually chatting with guests as he worked in what looked to be a witchy workshop and Hikaru-Escanor bumbled around him trying to help.

I giggled. It was pretty funny to see the usually bold Hikaru acting so meek and shy.

I returned to the table, setting the sloshing beer steins on the table and smiling at the guests, "There you are!"

"Hey, Elizabeth come take a break!" Honey-Meliodas called, leaning back in his seat with his arms slung along the back of the sofa.

Even his posture is completely different… I wonder if he's just a natural actor? Or is it that Meliodas's personality comes naturally to him because it resonates with a facet of his personality?

"Elizabeth?" he questioned, calling me back to earth.

"Huh? Oh! Right!" I answered, going to sit next to him on the sofa.

"Um, Princess Elizabeth?" I heard a guest address me, "Since you're not a seven deadly sin, why is it that you're with Sir Meliodas?"

"Hm? Oh… well… I guess because I made a promise. A promise to both him and to myself that no matter what I will protect the kingdom and always be on his side," I answered with quiet conviction.

I looked up from where I had been looking down into wide green eyes, just in time to witness an explosion of tears and cries of "MOE!"

"Heh, don't worry Elizabeth, I'll always be by your side too! I'll be… right… here!" Honey-Meliodas proclaimed before burying his face in my lap which to the guests, would probably look like he was placing his face in a very private area.

"Eh?! Sir Meliodas!" I shrieked, "That's too much!" I hid my face in my arms, peaking out.

"WAAHHH!" The guests screamed, blood streaming from their noses. Wow, what a bunch of closet perverts.

"Cut it out Captain," Mori-Ban intoned lazily, now looking down at Honey-Meliodas.

Without a word, Honey-Meliodas stood and delivered a swift uppercut to Mori-Ban's chin, making him step back as his neck snapped back. I stared in shock. What…? So violent!

"Sir Ban!" I uttered in surprise.

Mori-ban slowly tilted his head back down, a smirk crossing his face, "Alright. I've been waiting for this all day!"

"Hm?" Honey-Meliodas smiled ever cheerfully, "Well, don't just stand there then, let's-"

Not waiting for him to finish, Mori-Ban punched Honey-Meliodas in the chest. I gaped as the small blonde went flying across the room and crashed through the changing room curtain. A series of gasps came from the watching guests.

"Sir Meliodas!" I called out in concern, standing up. No way this is real right? They must somehow be doing some sort of stage combat? But still… he really went flying!

Honey-Meliodas re-emerged from the changing room area, now sporting a black marking on his forehead and inky markings running down his right arm. His face sported a malevolent smirk.

Wow, they really made it look like he's activated his demon mark…

Honey-Meliodas and Mori-Ban slowly walked towards each other, smirking at each other. Before any more violence, fake or otherwise, could take place, I rushed forward to stand between them.

"Please! Stop this! You're going to hurt each other!" I cried, looking between them.

Honey-Meliodas turned away, "Hm? Aww, alright but only since you asked so nicely Elizabeth." He turned back around, revealing that he had somehow gotten rid of the dark markings and he was back to smiling. I saw him discretely slip a wipe into his pocket.

Damn, he's good!

"Aww, just when things were getting more interesting around here," Mori-Ban despaired, going back to appearing bored.

The rest of the club hours passed similarly, with myself and the hosts staying in character while the guests asked us questions and fangirled. Finally, it was time for the guests to leave. I stood with the hosts, waving goodbye as the guests departed, all excitedly chattering about the interactions they had seen between the Seven Deadly Sins characters.

As soon as the doors closed, I collapsed onto the nearest chair, absolutely exhausted. I felt like I could sleep for a decade.

Honey bounced over to me, still-green eyes shining brightly, "Emi-chan! You did a great job at being Elizabeth!"

"Oh, thanks Honey! You were an amazing Meliodas!" I responded, still a bit shocked at just how good he was at being Meliodas, "Oh, but, are you and Mori okay? Even if they were fake, those hits must have hurt?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh, we're fine, right Takashi? We're both pretty strong, so little hits like that can't hurt us," he explained cheerfully, playing with the tips of my silver wig.

"Hn," Mori confirmed. All that talking he did as Ban must have tired him out.

Little hits?! He flew across the room and he's calling that a little hit?! I know they practice martial arts but… I'm starting to suspect that that's kind of an understatement…

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Kyoya and Tamaki come out of the changing room, restored to their usual selves. Apparently having seen this too, Mori chose to take this chance to get out of costume too.

"Emi-chan?" Honey called, still playing with my fake hair, "Um, was it okay? I didn't go too far?" he asked.

"Sorry, what?" I answered, gathering my attention, "Was what okay?"

"Um, well, Meliodas is pretty touchy… so I tried to find less forward ways to be touchy but… was it okay? I didn't make you uncomfortable did I?" he cried, seeming to become more and more concerned as he spoke, until he was looking at me with wide watery eyes.

"Oh! No, don't worry Honey! I thought your alternatives were as respectful as they could be! And I appreciated you not… um… you know squeezingmybreasts," I mumbled the last part as quickly as possible, "or um, stealing my panties," I tried to joke, face flushing slightly at the mere thought.

The truth was that, aside from how embarrassed I'd feel if he were to randomly squeeze my tits in front of a bunch of people (one of them being his cousin!), that was a particularly erogenous area for me and I wasn't sure how I'd react to someone touching me there, particularly someone who I, admittedly, found to be extremely attractive.

Honey giggled at my red face and then leaned forward, smirking in a way that had nothing to do with his Meliodas character. This smirk was purely Honey, the Honey that I'd only seen a couple of times.

"Don't worry Emi, I wouldn't do that to you unless I meant it… And if you really wanted it," he said. His voice having deepened temporarily, returned to its usual register as he continued, "After all, consent has to be enthusiastic!"

He giggled innocently again, hugging me before bounding off to the changing room, pig Usa-chan swinging from his hand. I sat as still as a statue, face tomato red. Steam should have been visibly coming off of my body with how much heat I was emitting.

Oddly, even though I was embarrassed, I didn't want to run away. In fact, I couldn't deny that part of me almost felt a sort of longing… though I wasn't sure what I was longing for…

He might very well be the death of me!
