Emi POV

It was finally the weekend, and even more importantly, I was finally going to see Aiki again. She was coming over to my apartment to hang out and pre-drink before we'd head to a nightclub. Aiki was pretty into clubbing, and though I wasn't really, I did enjoy going out dancing so I was looking forward to the night. Plus it would be the first time I was going to a club since coming to Japan.

I was keeping my outfit pretty simple, wearing a pair of black skinny jeans and a golden-yellow v-neck crop top that dipped just low enough to show the top of the floral tattoo that adorned my sternum in a loose triangular formation.

For some reason I always felt a bit more confident when my tattoos were visible. Probably 'cause tattoos are badass.

Just then I heard a knock at my front door.

Oh, that must be Aiki! I quickly checked my hair, where it was up in two fluffy space buns, before moving to open the door.

"Hi Aiki! I missed you!" I greeted her, quickly enveloping her in a hug.

"Hey babe, missed you too," she responded, pulling out of the hug to catch my mouth with hers.

What followed was some chatting, a lot of drinking, and a fair amount of making out. Her hands wandered, but never strayed too far, while my own hands hesitantly traced her ribcage, though that hesitation was certainly decreasing with each drink.

By the time we left for the club I was already close to being drunk, which was fine by me. I preferred to do my drinking before arriving at the club. It was cheaper and safer that way.

Aiki held my hand as she pulled me into the booming nightclub. I was immediately overwhelmed by the crush of warm, sticky bodies, and the pounding bass of the music. Sure I had been to clubs and bars back home, but it was a small town so naturally, they were on a much smaller scale.

Aiki brought us straight to the bar where she bought several shots, downing one and passing one to me.

"Oh, no that's okay, I'm already feeling it!" I shouted to be heard over the music.

"Awww, but I bought half of these for you! You're not gonna make me drink them all by myself are you?" she responded in my ear.

I hesitated, looking into her pleading eyes.

"Alright, alright!" I held the shot and downed it, only grimacing a little bit. Two shots later, she was finally ready to dance.

Now I was the one in a rush, grabbing her hand to pull her onto the dance floor. This is what I've been waiting for!

I began jumping up and down to the beat, Aiki doing the same in front of me. For what could have been minutes or hours, I moved to the music, my hips swaying as the lights strobed and blurred around me. I was weightless, laughing as I twirled and clumsily bumped into people. I could definitively say I was drunk, and I was loving the lack of inhibitions.

And through it all, Aiki was in front of me, her long dark hair swirling behind her. I stared into her inky eyes, drawing closer until we were pressed up against each other. She leaned down and pulled me into a bruising kiss, her hands on my waist and travelling down my back.

Drunk and unbalanced, I stumbled forward breaking the kiss and laughing at my clumsiness.

"Do you wanna head home?" Aiki asked, shouting in my ear as she held me. I wasn't sure but I thought there might be more to that question than I could currently grasp. Regardless I knew my answer.

"Not yet! Let's keep dancing!" I shouted.

She looked a bit disappointed, but nodded. Soon we were once again lost in the electricity.

Honey POV

Kyo-chan had used his shadow powers to figure out where Emi-chan was going on her date and that was how we all (minus Haru-chan, who still disapproved) ended up in a popular nightclub in the city. It definitely wasn't the type of place I was expecting Emi-chan to go for a second date, but Kyo-chan said it was lucky because it would be easier to blend in and we could always say we were here for a night out.

We weaved our way through the crowd to get to the VIP lounge that overlooked the main dance floor. This would give us the perfect vantage point to see Emi-chan and her date.

Within minutes, Takashi spotted Emi-chan and pointed her out.

"Good job Takashi!" I praised in a slightly more subdued tone than usual. I wasn't feeling as bubbly as usual. Part of it was that nightclub environments tended to bring out the attitude that most people expected of someone my age. But there was also a part of me that was worried. This nightclub had a reputation for being filled with sketchy guys and Emi-chan… Emi-chan was sweet and innocent.

I looked down to where Takashi had pointed, And she looks…well, she looks less innocent than usual.

She was wearing high-waisted curve-hugging jeans, and a crop top that exposed a strip of her midriff. She was dancing with a girl that must have been Aiki, their hips gyrating in a way that made me feel like I was intruding on a private moment.

I looked away, blushing. At the same time, I felt like fire was engulfing my chest. I'm…angry? No… that's not it…

The twins made a show of picking their jaws up off the floor and Hikaru whistled, "Huh, who knew Emi had it in her!"

"Yeah, I never would have guessed that she could or would move like that," Kaoru mused in agreement.

Why does my heart feel so heavy? Maybe I should see a doctor for a check up…

Poor Tama-chan looked crushed, "My- my innocent daughter!"

"I hate to break it to you Daddy, but it appears your daughter isn't as innocent as you assumed," Kyo-chan said evenly. Tama-chan keeled over, shaking his head in adamant denial.

"Anyway, now that we've seen who Emi's date is, I guess we don't have to keep spying right? Some of us have our own dates to go on," the twins said matter-of-factly.

"Yes, I think it's safe to say that we can leave now. Why don't you two take our King outside," Kyo-chan pointed to where Tama-chan was curled up in a ball on the floor, "I'll be right out."

The twins nodded, grabbed Tama-chan and proceeded to drag him out of the club, heedless of any obstacles he ran into. I winced, Poor Tama-chan is gonna be all bruised up.

I turned my head back around only to see my cousin staring at Kyo-chan meaningfully.

"I agree, I don't believe we should leave Emi here. She already appears to be quite drunk and her date doesn't seem to care," Kyo-chan said, nodding towards where the Aiki woman was handing Emi yet another drink.

I nodded seriously, "There's something I don't like about that Aiki… But, what do we do? Emi-chan doesn't seem like the type of person to leave her date."

"Maybe not, but she does seem like the type to put her friends first…" Kyo-chan muttered, his glasses flashing.

I grinned. I wasn't sure what exactly he had in mind, but if Kyo-chan had a plan things were bound to turn out.
