The closer Dean got the house the better he felt. He longed for the shelter and safety Bobby's home afforded them and being around family at a time when he felt the most vulnerable was important. He was tire, hurt all over and wanted Emma and Nicholas safe in their crib. Sam had a carrier in each hand and looked as if he was ready to kill anyone or anything that brought even a hint of danger.

Someone shouted, "heads up" and when they looked up, they saw Cayden on the roof in a gauzy, flowing garment, his hair done up in braids and holding a bow with an arrow at the ready. He let the arrow fly and quickly loaded another and released it. He pointed and when they looked behind them, there were two dead bodies with arrows in their skulls. They had been sick for a long time by the level of the rot that had set in.

Cayden moved to the edge of the roof and waved at the little family, "All clear." Sam got a good look up the omega's tunic and noted he didn't have on underwear. The view wasn't bad at all but the alpha would keep that to himself.

Bobby had the biggest grin on his face as he waved them inside, excited to see his grandbabies. As soon as Sam set the carriers on the table, Bobby went them, "I was gonna form a search party for you…stayin' past Dean's due date. I didn't know what happened." He scrubbed the back of his hand across his eyes to wipe the tears then removed the thin cotton blankets covering the babies. He quietly marveled at them for a few minutes until Sam asked if there was something wrong.

"No, I'm just happy is all." He examined them carefully with his big, callused hands, counting fingers and toes, commenting on Emma's bright, inquisitive eyes and Nicholas's little lips that formed an O when Bobby got close. "Which is which and what'd you name them?"

Dean smiled down at them, "Let me introduce Nicholas Robert and Emma James."

Bobby mulled that over for a moment, "Me and Jamie?"

The new mother nodded, "Jamie was so important to me. He really got me through all those times I hated being an omega, taught me what I didn't understand and supported us," Dean gestured to Sam who nodded, "and he was our family. If Emma grows up to be half as awesome as Jamie, I'll be happy."

Sam chimed in, "We picked Robert because Bobby, you have been everything to us, a father, friend, protector, and a hero. Nick will be lucky to have you for a grandfather. Both of them will."

Tears sprung up in the hunter's eyes again but he didn't rub them away this time. He hugged his boys with a clap on the back and went back to admiring the twins.

"I want to see the babies."

Alfie was the one who spotted the Winchesters arrival then vanished and appeared from seemingly nowhere as he often did. He kissed them each on the forehead, "Sam, Dean, these are the cutest babies I've ever seen." The omega furrowed his brow, "why is that one trying to eat its fist? Is that what babies do?"

Dean introduced Alfie, "The one trying to eat his fist is Nicholas Robert and Emma James is the one staring up at you. Babies do that. Sam was a big fist sucker and he didn't stop sucking his thumb until he was just about three. It's normal baby stuff."

"Dean, seriously, I told you not to talk about embarrassing stuff from when I was a kid."

"Just wait until these two are older and they'll get an earful."

A panel in the ceiling opened up and two slim, pale legs appeared, Bobby rushed over and held up his arms, "I've got yah, hon." Cayden slid into Bobby's waiting arms and the alpha held him tight around the waist before letting him touch the floor. The omega scratched him under the chin and pecked his cheek. Bobby did him one better and kissed his pink lips fully, "Your good aim with that bow and arrow really gets me goin'."

Sam cleared his throat, "Cayden, come and meet the twins."

The omega, hands behind his back, bent down to look at them closely, bright green eyes shifting from one to the other. Seeing the two delicate little dolls gave Cayden all sorts of feelings he'd long suppressed and hadn't share with anyone not even Bobby. He always dreamed of a having a baby of his own but it was never the right time or the right man to father it. The life of an omega with a child was fraught with hardship for many and he didn't want to end up a statistic. Maybe now it was ok to at least think about it.

Sam introduced him to the shiny new family members. Nicholas grabbed the braid dangling above his face and smacked his lips.

"Oh, time to feed them, Nick does that with his mouth when he's hungry." Dean lifted him from the carrier to his chest but the infant didn't get go of the braid. "Come on little man, let go," Dean opened his shirt and that did the trick, Nick let go, seeing something much better to get his hands on. Emma started fussing and then crying. Dean ended up feeding them on the good old comfortable couch.

Ginger jumped onto the back of the couch and settled her head on Dean's shoulder, all the time purring loudly while watching the twins nurse. Dean wasn't sure if he liked cats but he had to admit, the purring was pretty relaxing and when he turned his head, he got a face full of warm cat fur. She smelled nice, like sunshine and the omega decided cats weren't so bad after all.

"I hope you don't think your getting any. If you're going to hang around my kids you better be prepared to use those murder mittens to defend them to the death." Ginger rubbed her cheek against the human's, marking him as hers as she had with everything and everyone else in the house. The cat immediately loved the squishy little humans and sensed they were vulnerable like kittens. She would indeed use her murder mittens to protect them.

….

Bobby and Sam grabbed a couple pitchforks and used them to drag the bodies to the burn pile to light up after they got more rain. In the meantime, wild animals and raptor birds worked on the corpses and never seemed the worse for wear eating the infected. Bobby had groups of vultures and crows that checked out the pile daily and he was happy to have them. The hunter even had Sam strip the corpses to make it easier. It was a gross job for Sam but he was ok helping Bobby with whatever he needed.

….

Dean got his break, a chance to eat his fill, bathe and rest his weary body which felt anything but normal right now. Every time he had an urge to pee he had no idea where it was going to come from and he hated wearing the post partum underwear Sam seemed to have a huge supply of but he didn't want to wet himself. His boobs, as small as they were, more like swellings, hurt when they were too full and leaked and his nipples were tender from breast feeding the twins. He was blessed with youth, a great body and muscle tone so his soft belly was already tightening up. The omega wished Jamie was still here for many reasons but mostly because he needed someone to talk to, not a beta, alpha or female, it had to be another omega.

"Cayden maybe…he's no Jamie…Bobby sure likes him but Bobby is pussy whipped…he's a good judge of character though…that's not fair, I barely know the guy…Gotta sleep while their sleeping…sleep…"

Dean drifted off to his dark version of dreamland.

….

Bobby woke with a snort and looked around to get his bearings. He was laid back in the old easy chair in his bedroom with a twin in each arm. They were both asleep and Emma had her grandpa's beard twined in her tiny fingers. Cayden whispered, "Sam is here to get the babies."

There was a camera flash, Sam was taking photos for the future and he needed pictures for Emma and Nick's memory books, the ones he planned on keeping for them. He was sure he would be able to develop the film someway, somehow. The alpha already had four rolls filled and they'd only been out of the womb a couple weeks now. Sam missed out on so much, he didn't remember his mother, they only had a few photos after the fire and he didn't have an apple pie life for half of it. Family was important and he didn't want his kids to miss out on a minute of anything.

Bobby handed his grandbabies over to Sam and whispered loudly, "Stop takin' pictures with me in them."

Sam whispered, "Good night, Grandpa."

There was a celebration for Emma and Nick at a month old. In that month, the twins bonded with the three people who were just strangers at first. They needed no adjustment to mom and dad, having heard their voices constantly in utero and their daddy's big hands were the first thing they felt coming out. They had no concept family but Emma and Nick felt a particular level of comfort and safety with all of them.

One day, a very big man showed up, even bigger than their daddy and he was scary at first but he held bright pretty things they would learn later were flowers, the stranger had big white teeth, kind eyes and a very deep voice. The twins felt he was good because even as brand new as they were, the infants could sense goodness in a stranger. They hadn't met anyone bad, at least not yet.

Sheamus got a good look at Emma and Nick, "Adorable children but they look so serious." The twins both broke out in gummy smiles as if they understood him. "Are they smiling or do they have gas?"

Dean picked up Nick who let out a little grunt, "This guy is taking a dump but yeah, they're both smiling. You got the seal of approval, congratulations." He handed the baby over to Sam, "Your turn."

Sam grimaced as he took his son, "Last time I got poop on my fingers."

"Oh, boo fuckin' hoo. Sam is still grossed out because after a diaper change, he washed his hands but didn't notice poop under a fingernail. He was having a sandwich and when he went to take a bite, he got a whiff then did that puke in your mouth thing when he smelled it."

"Dean!"

"You know Sam, I got plenty of your crap on my hands when you were a baby." He hitched his thumb toward his brother and laughed, "I used to call this guy Mister Craptastic."

Everyone got a good laugh except Sam.

It was tough sometimes to be a teenager married to your brother who used to change your diapers.

September

At the tender age of three months old the twins were both able to hold their heads up, roll over, had great hand and eye coordination and were very vocal with the lots of cooing, babbling and even yelling when they wanted something. They both loved hair such as Bobby's beard, Sam's locks, Cayden's curls and Ginger's fur. It was all great for grabbing with tiny fingers.

Sam and Dean wondered what, if any side effects there would be with the watered-down demon, infected blood from Sam. Only time would tell. Dean said he didn't care if they both sprouted an extra eye or had x-ray vision and Sam agreed, they'd love their kids no matter what.

Blue balls were a terrible thing and after months of officially dating Alfie, Sheamus had the worse case ever and jacking off just wasn't the same as the actual deed. He waited for the omega though because now the alpha was in too deep and he fell in love along the way. At first it was for companionship and sex but Alfie with his utter devotion, charming quirks, kind heart and purity not to mention his cuteness had completely bewitched the principal. This night like so many others, they sat outside admiring the stars while talking about anything and everything and peppering the conversation with heavy make out sessions and roving hands. The omega pushed him off, breathless and red faced.

"Shea, maybe I'll go with you to the school soon and stay." If it had not been so dark, the principal would have seen how red Alfie's face had gotten.

"Really, you mean it?"

"Yes. We need privacy."

"For…? I want everything to be really clear between us."

"Intercourse."

"YES! Finally…goodbye blue balls…"

"Yeah, absolutely! I'll make it super romantic and don't worry, I'll take it at your pace. I love you, baby. This won't be a fly by night thing, I'm in it for the long haul, world disaster or not."

Alfie answered very matter of fact, "Of course, you love me because I love you and you are my boyfriend." He pecked him on the cheek, "Goodnight."

Ro Corp U.S.

The suits waited around the huge boardroom table waiting for the new president to arrive. The faces were quite different this time around, instead of all alpha and beta males, there were many females and a few omega males as well. Everyone was on edge, they'd been through several presidents after the old man was killed and so far, none of them survived. This one was supposed to different though; she was the granddaughter of the old man and word was this woman was a cruel piece of work but she knew her stuff.

The double doors opened with a flourish, the new president walked to the head of the table, black heels clacking on the tile. The tall, lean redhead took a seat in the oversized leather chair and tapped her crimson nails on the mahogany, taking delight in the discomfort they all seemed to be in.

"Good evening, everyone, for those of you who haven't heard, my name is Abaddon Josie Sands and I am you new president. I'm here to fix the mess my grandfather put us in."

A man timidly raised his hand, "Miss Sands, I don't think there is any way to fix this."

She cocked her head and tight smile stretched across her face, "We haven't tried every yet now have we. I do not care how long it takes, months, years, decades, a century, eternity, we will fix this clusterfuck."
