We went into the threstal carriages, four to a carriage.
"Hey, Greengrass," I greeted Neville's son.
His nickname will forever be that for dealing weed.
When I was twelve, I was busier…okay, I did not have a perfect childhood, but like you get my point.
Making money? From dealing weed? At the age of twelve?
"Hey," He nodded, "Want cigs, Olivia?"
"I'm good, Shady boy," I declined, kicking his shin,
"I'll take some," Theo said, "How much for two packets?"
I raised my eyebrows, "You smoke?"
"Caught my adoptive dad doing it once. I hid it and tried one. Felt so awesome." He said, pulling out some money.
"5 dollars or the magical equivalent," Greengrass told Theo.
They exchanged.
"Wtf is wrong with you people?"
"Like you had a perfect childhood," Maggie said raising an eyebrow.
"Shut up, hoe," I said.
For the people that get pissed off easily: That wasn't meant to be insulting. It's a me and Maggie thing.
"How's James?" She asked.
"Not again Maggie," I said, remembering how I had to fix this train wreck and then fix him. God.
I coughed and looked up, "Urgh. Not here guys."
"Sorry," Mattheo put his hands up and put it out.
I propped my legs up on his thigh.
"Nice shoes." He remarked.
"Oh. Yeah, thanks. They're new."'
Theo chuckled, "Awkward carriage silence resumes."
I chortled but did nothing to break it.
The carriage came to a stop.
We got off and I lost my mates in the crowd.
There's one thing I love about really heavy crowds going in one direction is that at one point you don't even have to walk and you'll just be pushed along the crowd.
Ten minutes later, I relocated my siblings to the Gryffindor table.
McGonagall stood up.
"I believe some of us may be aware of the Riddle triplets being taken into our school." She glanced at James and shook her head at us before continuing, "I believe you all shall be respectful to them, not treat them as inferior, not talk about them behind their back, and," she paused again her eyes finding Samantha and her group of friends (They suck.) and continued, "give them their personal space, which I'm sure they'd enjoy."
"We had struggled in finding their location which is why they shall directly be put in the third year with their age group and shall be sorted into a house with the first years.
Now, to start the sorting."
A filling meal later, I checked the time. It's 10.
I wondered if I could pull a party.
Lat end of the year had a super social me.
This year would have social me.
My fucking year.
I say that every year.
I've never lived up to it, but I try.
I walked up to my dorm jiggling the dorm key given to me. I believe my partner has another copy.
I hope Maggie is my partner.
That girl is a vibe, I tell you.
"Hey, Theo." I greeted the being in my dorm's living room.
"Hey, roomie." He said back and made some space for me to sit next to him without looking up from his book.
Oh.
This is my year.
I went to explore.
I have no idea how high the fees are but I'm pretty sure they're higher than Greengrass.
Never thought I'd be in love with a house but here I am.
