"How do we win against these monsters? None of our attacks are working!" Kid growled, a scowl set on his face.

"They're definitely working. We've hit them so many times, they have to be feeling it! They're human like us!" Luffy charged forward.

"I think human is stretching it a bit in this case." Neo panted. Her eyes scanned the two emperors. They barely wielded any damages on their bodies and clothes while her own little rebel group was covered in cuts, blood, and dirt. Well, she wasn't as damaged as the guys since she kept her distance from the emperors most of the time.

Her gaze shifted to the elements helping Big Mom. If only she could tempt them to help her instead. But it would do no good. She could feel a desire coming from them to cross over to her. They never did. Though she saw the cloud's eyes constantly drifted to her.

A strange feeling about that one came to her. She did her best to recall what all Sanji had told her about these three creatures. He had said Nami was able to attracted Zeus with thunderclouds to eat. Sanji said he found it odd since those three were suppose to be Big Mom's most loyal subjects. Did that mean she could attempt Zeus away from Big Mom? What would happen if she did? Would it anger Big Mom?

That was one thing she didn't want. Big Mom was a big enough problem without being angry. Still, she wondered if she should try it.

"Look before you leap!" Zoro's voice broke into her thoughts.

Neo glanced to Luffy who had indeed managed to crash into a rock.

"Well, a losing attitude isn't going to help anything!" Luffy said.

"Then help us come up with something!" Zoro snapped.

"We need to split them up," Law said.

Neo drew her lip between her teeth. Facing them individual should give them a better change of defeating the emperors.

"I agree," Zoro said.

"Yeah, facing those two together..." Kid said. His eyes turned to Neo with a harsh glare. "You could be more helpful."

"What's that suppose to mean?" Neo narrowed her eyebrows.

"You can control the elements." Kid pointed at Big Mom. "So why aren't you controlling them! You haven't even tried, have you? Women. You're all useless."

Neo felt her eyebrow twitched. The thought of hovering a fire crystal near Kid's bottom roared through her head. She shook it away. Fighting him would do no good. The man was an idiot. "I haven't tried because I know I can't. Yes, those three are elements of nature. However, they are made from Big Mom's soul. They are her in a way. The best I could possibly do is distract them for a minute, if I'm lucky."

Kid scoffed. "Can you at least distract that cloud? If we can get that old hag off it we'll be in a better position."

Neo had to agree. With Big Mom flying around on her cloud friend it was harder for them to get a good shot in on her. Neo flexed her fingers. Her eyes found Law's. He nodded, having read her thoughts about drawing the cloud to her. "Fine. I have an idea that might get Zeus' attention away from Big Mom for a minute."

"Then do it," Kid said just as Big Mom and Kaido got ready to attack again.

"Kaido, let's try a combined attack," Big Mom said. "I wonder how many of them will survive."

Neo tensed, her mind working to figure out what kind of an attack the two emperors would do. Would it be an attack with their weapons? Or their haki? A combination of both?

"Trafalgar, can't you use your powers to send one of them away?!" Kid asked.

"I wouldn't have it already if I could," Law said. "Their haki is too strong, I can't move them directly."

"Their haki is causing me trouble, too." Neo brushed sweat from her face.

"Fine. We'll just tear them apart," Kid said.

"Heads up! They're gonna do something big!" Luffy said.

"I hope you can still swing that, hag!" Kaido pulled back his club.

"Who do you think you're talking to, brat?!" Big Mom readied her sword. The two emperors swung. Their combined attacks melting into a rush of light.

Neo took a step forward. Summoning her crystals she formed a shield of the elements. The combined attack stalled for a second. Her boots slid against the ground. "Too strong! I don't think I can hold it back for long! They're putting their haki into it!"

Zoro jumped in front of her. "Run!"

"What?!" Neo gasped.

"Go on now! Get out of here! We can't let them wipe us out!" Zoro said.

"I'm not leaving anyone behind!" Neo stepped beside Zoro. She pushed back the attack, but it started to push through her and Zoro's defenses. A burning sensation touched Neo's skin. She bit back a whimper as she heard Zoro grunt in pain.

With a blink, the two pirates were moved behind some debris. The emperors attack hurled forward with a boom.

Neo glanced at Law before looking to Zoro's beat up body. She summoned her solar crystal to the swordsman.

Law placed her hand on Neo's back. "Zoro, you still with us?"

"Barely." Zoro coughed.

"You're such an idiot." Neo sighed. "I would have been fine on my own with that attack."

Zoro chuckled. "And hear about how I didn't protect you from the rest of the crew for the rest of my life? I don't think so."

"That didn't buy much time," Kid said. "But thanks for blocking."

"Wow. He does have some manners," Neo mumbled to Law, who smirked in response. Her eyes flitted to her left when she sensed Luffy rushing back towards the emperors.

"Where's Straw Hat?" Killer glanced around.

"He's going after Kaido again." Neo sighed. "I really have no idea how he always has so much energy."

"It's ready," Kid said, hovering a metal box near by. "You, woman, do it."

"Don't call me woman." Neo walked away from the group. Her eyes locked onto the cloud. Summoning her most innocent look, that she often used on Law when she wanted something, she turned it on Zeus. "Hey, your name is Zeus, isn't it?"

"Huh? Me?" The cloud turned to her.

"You're so cute!" Neo squealed. She forced herself not to cringe. The cloud really was cute. She wished she could take him away from Big Mom. "Would you like to come live with me?" She held out her hand with a smile. "I know you'll like living with us. You like eating thunderclouds, don't you? I can make you plenty of them." Lifting her hand towards the sky, she pulled in some thunder and lightning.

"Oh!" Zeus drooled at the clouds above them then blushed and moved towards the elemental. "Awe, you are cute, too. Those clouds smell so yummy."

Prometheus growled. "Don't fall for that, you idiot! She's the enemy!"

"What? She's not going to hurt us." Zeus smiled. "She's our friend."

"Uh." Neo scratched her cheek. She didn't want to hurt them. It wasn't their fault they were born from Big Mom's soul. Did the emperor ever give them a choice of doing what they wanted to do? She highly doubted it. Sadness pooled into her chest and soul. These creatures were like slaves. In that moment she wanted to take them all home with her. They weren't animals so Law couldn't say no.

"Room."Law spread out his Room. "Shambles."

Neo jolted. Law had warped Zeus into the metal box Kid had created. The cloud was trapped.

"What?! It's so dark in here! Where am I?!" Zeus's muffled voice said. "Where'd you go, cute girl?"

Guilt tapped at Neo's sternum. "I'm so sorry."

"Don't be." Law walked to her. "That thing is a part of Big Mom. It obeys her without thought."

"Yeah. I know." Neo nodded, despite the thought of Zeus following after Nami. Maybe Zeus had more free will than they knew. If given the choice, would Zeus stay with Big Mom or leave?

"Ready, Roronoa?" Killer then asked.

"As much as I can be," Zoro said. The two rushed forward, slicing at Prometheus. Big Mom fell to the ground without her minions help to fly. Zoro continued slicing at the sun as it tried to pull itself back together. "You're not allowed to reform."

Neo placed some fire crystals apart from each other and pulled Prometheus to them.

"No!" Prometheus cried. "Mama! Help me!"

"You nitwits!" Big Mom growled as her three warriors called for her help. "Did you whelps really think getting rid of them would allow you to beat me?!" She threw a punch a Kid.

The pirate hit the ground then he grabbed her arm. "Repel."

"Takt." Law tossed a boulder.

Neo added her winds to the boulder and pushed it harder.

"You numbskulls! What's the point of hitting me with a boulder?! Huh?" Big Mom looked over her shoulder as her shoe hit the edge of the island.

Neo pulled the ground out from underneath Big Mom in case she got her footing.

The emperor's body disappeared over the edge. "Curses! Zeus!"

"Zeus can't save you now. It's time for you to drop out," Law said.

"Zeus! Save me!" Big Mom called out.

Zeus burst from his entrapment and flew towards Big Mom. Zoro sliced the cloud in half.

Neo redirected her winds and held the cloud apart.

"What are you doing?" Zeus pleaded to Neo. "I have to save Mama. Let me go!"

"I can't do that." Neo hammered down her guilt. "You don't have to save her, you know. You can make your own choices. I know you have done it before. Do you want to stay with Big Mom?"

Zeus lowered his eyes to the ground.

"You're pathetic, Linlin. You've become an invalid. You two brats. Let Prometheus go!" Kaido turned to them.

Law popped in front of him, jutting out his sword. "Injection Shot!"

Kaido expelled blood from his mouth. "You're abilities really throw me off, Trafalgar!"

"You could stay with me. I would treat you better than Big Mom." Neo gritted her teeth. She could feel Zeus and Prometheus struggling against her. Their will conflicted with the element they represented wanting to cuddle next to the elemental. Her mind wandered. But what did Big Mom use to create these two creatures? She assumed a cloud was used for Zeus since he was a cloud. But what about Prometheus? Did Big Mom use plain fire? Could Big Mom create a sun from that? The sun was a ball of blazing fire. Or was Big Mom able to create these creatures with any object?

"Neo, what are you doing?! That flame's going to save Big Mom!" Zoro said.

Neo jolted. With her focus coming back she found Prometheus struggling against her. "It's not easy to control as normal fire is. It's Big Mom's devil fruit. Remember this thing came from her soul."

"Big Mom's soul?" Zoro asked.

Neo nodded. "It's part of her devil fruit powers. Sanji told me about it the last time we saw each other. That's why I haven't been doing much against them since they're elements."

"Let it go. The plan isn't worth one of us dying," Law said.

Neo released her hold. Prometheus flew off.

"We only needed to split them up anyway. This should be enough," Kid said as he and Killer rushed towards to edge where Big Mom fell. "Leave Big Mom to us!"

Kaido laughed. "Look at Straw Hat's face!"

Neo glanced at her rubber friend. He had been knocked out by Kaido. Again.

Kaido continued, "It's just like the last time! He's unconscious! But he's still glaring at me! I'm going to gouge out his eyes or cave his skull in. Maybe I'll just crush his heart."

"Tra, I've reached my limit." Zoro huffed as he wobbled. "This next attack will be my last. We can't keep this up forever. If this doesn't work, and I end up dead, it'll be up to you two."

"Don't say that!" Neo said. "You're not allow to die! That's captain's orders!"

Zoro smirked and rushed forward.

"Zoro!" Neo started after him.

"Let him go," Law said.

Neo jerked to a halt, gritting her teeth. She watched as Zoro grew more heads and arms, attacking Kaido with them. It hit but the emperor remained standing.

"Zoro, get out of there!" Law rushed forward as Neo pulled Zoro to her with her winds.

"Don't bother trying to help!" Kaido said. "Thunder Bagua!"

Neo grunted as the attack hit Law's body. Her ears rang. With one eye open, she watched Luffy get up and throw a punch at Kaido under the chin. Despite Luffy not making contact with the emperor's skin, the large man still fell backwards as if Luffy did hit him.

"How? He's not even making contact," Law said.

"Looks like he learned something new while he's was in prison," Neo said.

"Neo, Tra, Zoro, thanks for covering for me," Luffy said. "You guys head back down. Leave the rest to me! I'll beat him no matter what! Tell everyone I've got this!"

"Kid must have his hands full," Law said helping Zoro up.

"I can feel them moving into the castle," Neo said.

"Hey, Straw Hat, were taking everyone else with us!" Law said.

"Be careful, Luffy!" Neo called before Law warped them away. Reappearing they were inside but near the ceiling. She wrapped them in her winds.

"Neo, my sweet fairy!" Sanji called out.

"Sanji! Are you okay?" Neo looked down to the chief. She flew them to to him and added her solar crystal to him. He too looked rather beat up with blood on his skin and ripped clothing.

"Yes, I'm fine. Wait a second! Where did you guys fall from anyway?!" Sanji said.

"Law warped us inside. Luffy told us to leave him to face Kaido," Neo said.

"Your timing is impeccable, Blackleg," Law said laying Zoro on the ground. "We'll leave him with you."

"Hold up! Tell me what happened!" Sanji said.

"Zoro probably has twenty to thirty broken bones." Law ignored the cook. "Put him on his back and secure him with a splint. Make sure he's still conscious and breathing."

"I'm not talking about him!" Sanji snapped.

"Big Mom must be rampaging over there!" Law looked to his right where a loud ruckus was going on.

"I'm no doctor! And I don't have time for this!" Sanji said.

"Please, take care of him, Sanji! I did what I could with my solar crystal for now!" Neo waved as she rushed off with Law.

"Of course, my sweet fairy! Anything for you!"

...

Man, it sucks being caught up with the manga. So does writer's block, which I've been dealing with for weeks. *Huff* But at least I finally got this chapter done.
