Authors Notes

Hello, everyone. I got a question from a review after I posted chapter 5.

"So Gregory is an orphan in this fic? I'm only asking because GGY confirms he's Patient 46, who has parents."

Uhh, I haven't read this book. Weirdly enough I haven't read most, if not all, the fnaf books (though because of game theory and some other outside sources, I know the premise of all the stories that come up to Pizzeria Sim). I'll be reading them soon, so maybe I'll find out more about this, but yes he is an orphan and his parents are dead. The universe that my characters live in is completely different from the one in the game to a large degree. I like to keep a lot of the older lore intact and shape it to my own preferences. Perhaps, down the line, I'll use some of the info from the books I read to shape more of the story.

On another note, I'll probably change the friendship tags to romance since there is a lot of shipping here. Hell, it may even change again as we get farther into the story. I have a general outline for the story written and while I would like to follow it, anything goes. I ended up getting inspired to write Gregory into the story after reading someone's one shot fic on this site and it really gave me amazing ideas.

Last thing, feel free to leave more questions and comments. I do enjoy interacting with the community around here and perhaps it'll help inspire me to do something else.

Anyways, enough talking. Let's see what happens next in this chaotic world.

IMPORTANT WARNING: There are graphic talks of violence, torture and cannibalism in this chapter. You were warned.

Goodbye, So Soon

It had been late at night when Lillie decided that her adventure for the day should come to an end. While she hated leaving Foxy all by himself, she really wanted to explore the places she struggled to do so when she only had one leg. An hour before, Evan and a small human had come into the room she was exploring, making her hide on the bedside table behind the lamp until Evan had left and the small boy was confirmed to be asleep. It had been a close call, making her realize that she could be caught any moment if she wasn't careful so she started making her way across the bedside table until a noise was made.

A noise echoed slightly through the room as something jingled on the boy's arm, emanating light that brightened up the room and, more importantly, Lillie's eyes. She had seen a lot of gadgets in this house since Evan had made a lot of cool and weird things in his free time, but this had been something that genuinely grabbed the doll's attention. As she moved closer, she realized that this thing had resembled a watch, something like what Foxy had pointed out and wanted when they watched the TV channels where humans sell fancy objects and rocks. Except… this watch had been a bit bulkier. Foxy'll love it if I get this for him! She thought to herself. After all, stealing may be wrong, but only if you're caught doing it.

She had tried pulling on the watch, to no avail. She tried sliding it off the young boy's arm, but was unsuccessful. After a lot of huffing and puffing from the 'hard work' she was doing, she finally found the clasp at the end of the watch and was just about to reach for it when she heard a sound. She wasn't sure who it was, but she knew she'd be in trouble if she got caught and, without a second thought, dove into the boy's large khaki pocket.

A sound came from not the door but the window making a small, slight clunky noise as the lock is heard being undone and the window lifted open.

"By hell…" Muttered a ratchet, grimey voice from the window. Lillie peered out of the pocket to view a man climbing out of the window next to the bedside table and onto the floor with a light thump. He was as typical of a house robber as Lillie had seen from those movies. Black knitted mask, black clothes and a burlap sack. The robber slowly and quietly moved over to the sleeping boy and, quite quickly, tied a rag over the boy's mouth and stuffed him into the large burlap sack before he could fully wake up and peep a word. Muffled screaming could be heard from inside the pocket and when she had poked her head out to check, she nearly fell out of the boy's pocket.

As quickly as the man made it inside the house, he slipped out taking Lillie along with him. The boy soon stopped struggling and relaxed, seeming to go limp in the man's arms. They were thrown somewhere that seemed like a car and drove off soon after. While this happened, Lillie had started to grow excited. She had seen movies like this with Foxy and she knew she'd never get another chance. Her dull, boring life waiting in the basement was over from this moment, she felt.

Perhaps this moment was the moment she'd been waiting for all her life. This was just the beginning of her action movie and like hell if she'd let it go to waste.

A few minutes before, Evan had been standing at the door, which had been opened, staring down at the small nun who looked scarily similar to the one his brother told him of. While he had a bad feeling from this situation, all he wanted to do was go back to bed. He looked at the small woman in disdain and sighed heavily.

"Sister Helen, was it?" Evan said tiredly. The nun nodded with a large, thin smile, one that seemed impossible to make normally. She bowed slightly, greeting the tired Evan.

"Yes, that is my name. How can I help you?" Evan blinked for a moment, trying to process the words that had come from her mouth. What the fu- He thought as he shook his head, waking himself up properly.

"Your… at my door. That should be my question." She looked at him for another moment before looking surprised and immediately apologizing.

"Oh, I apologize." She said, putting her hands together. "I seem to be getting a bit forgetful in my old age. I came here to see if you had any idea where a small boy had gone. He had run away from the orphanage a time ago and-" Evan cut her off, shaking his head in his hand.

"Ma'am, I understand your worry, but it's 1 am in the fucking morning." He said, semi-faking his anger. Perhaps she'd go away with a bit of hostility shown and how did she know that they were housing the young boy? It couldn't be a coincidence but, in any case, he feinted ignorance. "Look, I don't know where that boy went but I would run away, too, if I was being woken up in the middle of the night for something that could wait." The nun seemed to briefly falter, her wide smile twitched a bit but promptly corrected itself, making it bigger than it had been originally.

"It seems that I've come at an improper time. I've been up all day knocking from door to door asking if someone had seen this sweet, poor boy." She handed him a card, which he had snatched away from her. "Please call me if you've seen a lost child by the name of Gregory, please. It would mean the world to me. I pray that you have a blessed night." She bowed and moved down the stairs of the front porch, moving effectively out of his sight as the man closed the door and sighed. Chara moved up to the man and looked at him worryingly.

"Are you okay?" She asked Evan, rubbing his shoulder. The man nodded and started moving slowly towards a chair in the kitchen, the puppet following behind closely.

"She knew he was here. I don't know how but hopefully she's gone for the time being." He yawned and looked at the clock, realizing it had been an hour later than he thought it was. He shook his head and leaned back in the chair. "Sweetheart, could you do me a big favor and check to see if I woke anyone up?" She nodded and moved immediately to check the two rooms down the hallway for people who were awake.

She first cracked Mangle's door open, who's room had been pitch black and not a sound or bit of movement came from the room. Satisfied, Chara closed the door and went to check on Gregory.

Chara fully opened up the door only to see that the bed was empty. Immediately she dashed into the room, looking around to find the boy and even checked the bathroom. Her heart sank as she realized that Gregory wasn't in the house anymore and, as she came back to the room, she checked the only other opening available. With a careful inspection, she saw that the window lock had been tampered with and understood what happened.

As Evan decided it was time to get up and hopefully go back to bed for some well needed sleep, Chara dashed out frantically. She dashed to the man and grabbed his arm, shaking it.

"Evan, he's gone!" Chara said, panic rising in her voice. The man, brain still not fully running, questioned her.

"What do you mean he's gone? Who is gone?" He yawned loudly, thinking about how annoying the visitor had been just a few minutes ago. Why did she pick the dead of night to come find a boy? She shook him a bit harder, hoping to wake him up.

"Gregory's gone!" This grabbed the man's attention. "Someone seems to have messed with the window lock and Gregory is nowhere to be seen!" The pieces finally fit together. The old lady had been just a distraction and her true intent was on Gregory… who she knew was here. Evan cursed while quickly stomped his way down the hallway and into his room.

"Dammit! What are we going to do?!" He started grabbing clothes to jump into quickly, looking around frantically.

"We have to save him." Chara declared. "He was right and he must be out there, afraid and maybe hurt. Evan, we-"

"Chara, Chara. Take a deep breath and think. How are we going to find him? He could be anywhere right now." She looked at him in despair as she agreed with the words he said.

"But we have to do something! We can't just leave him on his own." A yawn came from the door, causing the duo to snap their heads to look that way and see Mangle fresh out of bed.

"What's going on?" She said with a weary voice. Chara had spoken up first as Evan was putting clothes on top of his nightgown.

"Someone kidnapped Gregory and we have no idea how to find him." Chara said in distress.

"Well, he's got one of those Faz-Watches on or whatever they're called, right?" Chara nodded. "Well, they should have a tracking feature so you can see other watches wherever they go. Chica told me about that last night when we went looking for where you guys were sitting."

"But we don't have a Faz-Watch, Mangle." But Evan had an idea and grabbed his phone.

"No we don't." Said Evan as he navigated his contacts and started a call. "But I know who does."

Michael had been getting comfy next to the already passed out Roxanne. He had helped clean up for the party and even did his nightly rounds before he got into his bed. As he started to drift off into a comfortable sleep, his phone went off loudly next to him causing him to cuss a bit. Who the hell would be calling this late? Mike thought to himself, checking to see who it was. It had been Evan and while he didn't know the man very well, Michael knew that the man wouldn't be calling unless it was important. As he picked up the call, he answered shortly.

"Hello." Said Michael tiredly. He rubbed his eyes and hoped Rox wouldn't wake up from the noise.

"Hey, sorry to bother you but we have a big emergency. Someone kidnapped Gregory from the house and I believe that nun you told me about has something to do with it." This made Michael sit up a bit straighter, catching the night guards attention.

"What?" Is all he could muster up. Frankly, his body was running on much less sleep than Evan's was and it was starting to affect the man in obvious ways. He rubbed his eyes and face as he repeated himself. "No, what?"

"I think that Sister you were telling me about has Gregory." Said Evan louder from the other side of the phone, hoping to get through to the man.

"No, I heard that part but how do you know?" As he asked, he saw Roxanne shifting over nearby. "No, that's not important right now. What do you want me to do?"

"I heard that your watches can help you track each other, right?"

"Yeah, so? It won't help if he doesn't have a Faz-Watch."

"He does, though. I'm unsure why he has one but I saw it multiple times today including when I was taking him inside my home." Michael sighed.

"Then there's a chance we can track him as long as he's not out of the city yet. I'll get up and call you when I'm on the road." The night guard hung up and sighed for a moment, thinking about who in town would be selling coffee at this time in the morning as Roxanne rolled over to look at the man. They stared at each other for a moment until the wolf broke the silence.

"Corpse." Said Roxanne.

"Faye." Said Michael, making her scowl.

"Fuck you."

"Look, I'm not in the mood for-"

"I know, I heard your loud mouth. Take me with you." The sudden cutoff and demand surprised the night guard and he scratched his head.

"I know Cooper said he wouldn't mind if you were to leave the pizzaplex but aren't you tired?" She shook her head.

"I'm fine." She said with confidence. Michael knew very well that it was a lie as she was barely able to stay awake just a couple of hours ago when they had been cleaning up the main party room. He opened his mouth but closed it again, knowing very well that changing the wolf's mind was an impossible task, one that he didn't care to have being as tired as he was. He simply got up, grabbed his belongings from the couch nearby and looked at her.

"Hurry up. We leave…" Michael looked at his watch. "Now." Roxanne got up and followed the night guard. They moved over a room and knocked on Freddy's door, who still seemed to be up. The door opened quite soon after with the bear standing behind it. He looked at the two and knew it was trouble.

"Michael. Roxanne. What can I do for you two?" After Freddy ended his question, Michael quickly got to the point.

"Gregory got kidnapped and now I need to go out and track him with my Faz-Watch. Would you mind watching the place until I get back?" Freddy blinked a few times, surprised by the information he was told.

"Gregory was kidnapped? Why not call the authorities and have them deal with it?"

"Well, we believe that the person who kidnapped him has some correlation with that wicked Sister from earlier today so it could bring more trouble to do that than to actually go rescue them ourselves." Freddy looked at Michael with a nod.

"With what he told us earlier, perhaps this is the best method. I'm assuming Roxanne will be going with you?" The night guard nodded.

"That's the current running plan. I'll make sure to bring her back in one piece." Freddy sighed softly.

"As much as I want to go on about why this shouldn't be allowed and how this breaks so many rules in the pizzaplex, I will let it go this once on account that someone's life might be at stake. Travel safely and, please, don't get yourselves into trouble." Michael scoffed at the last comment.

"Trouble? Us? When do we ever cause trouble?" Freddy simply stared at the man, causing Michael to turn around quickly. "Don't worry, we won't get caught. Probably." The pairing moved out, leaving a worried bear behind. As they both walked to the entrance, Michael looked back to ask a question.

"What are the odds that the coffee machines will have anything potable in them at this hour?"

They knew the odds weren't in their favor, but they knew that they were going to need some coffee for this adventure was going to be a long one. They always are.

Not even 5 minutes later, Evan, Chara, and Mangle jumped in the car, making their way down the dark roads. Chara had been wearing her dark hoodie and Mangle was borrowing one of Evan's, the same one she borrowed earlier that night. Evan's phone rang from the cupholder between him and Chara, splashing light inside the front of the car colored blue and green. The technician immediately picked up the phone, knowing very well who it was.

"Michael, where are you?" Said Evan tiredly. The man on the other side of the phone seemed to be struggling with something as he was shuffling around his phone.

"Rox, no, I need you to- Why do you need to watch for it? Because you're not driving. Look, I'll turn this car around, missy, I swear to Freddy that I will, I'll-" Evan cleared his voice, interrupting the man who seemed to have forgotten he was on the phone and the shuffling sound on the other side stopped. "I apologize. It's been a long night… day… whatever. I haven't really slept so we're all on wits end right now." The technician understood what he meant very well. It wasn't exactly his first choice to go on a manhunt in the middle of the night.

"Yeah, I understand. Where are you, though? We just pulled out of the suburbs and are nearing the pizzaplex now."

"We're turning off the road down the street from it right now." They continued to coordinate together, Evan's group in one car following Mike's duo in another. As they started heading on the path that the watch had given them, something had been evident immediately.

"They seem to be going back to Daylight." Mumbled Michael through the phone. Daylight had been the name of a nearby city that housed the Daylight Orphanage. Contraire to its name, Daylight City had been anything but sunshine or even a city. It had become a ghost town in the past 5 or so years with people moving due to natural disasters and the high crime rate to follow it. Luckily, most places nearby had been spared from the magnitude of damage that happened to Daylight. Of course, Roxanne hadn't been aware that something like that happened and Michael explained it to her.

"They tried to reinhabit the city again through many means like drastically lowering rent and creating jobs, but it ended up being a loss in money and only raised the crime rate by a lot. Of course there are safer districts of the city due to people not wanting to let go of homes their family had passed down to them especially since they weren't affected, but even then most thought it was safer to move out fully and wash their hands of the place." Michael finished explaining to Roxanne, who had nothing better to do but stare at her watch and make conversation.

"So why build an orphanage there?" Roxanne said flatly, thinking that the entire story was a bit weird. "What exactly happened to make a place as ghost-y as you say it is?"

"First off, Roxanne, it's not ghosty. The proper word here would be vacant."

"Desolate works, too." Called Evan from the other side of the phone, which was heard by everyone since the phone was deemed too much work to keep near Mike's face and he set it on speaker phone.

"Yes, thank you. Desolate works, too. I'm unsure why they would keep an orphanage there to begin with." Evan popped back in to answer this question.

"I believe it wasn't moved due to the will of the founder that was picked up by the current director there. Something about that place holding more historical meaning behind it than what everyone else would assume. I'm unsure, it's been awhile since I've been there." This caught Micahel's interest.

"You've been there?" Asked Mike, who was stopping at a red light and proceeding to take a sip of his now lukewarm coffee.

"Yeah, a few years back. I had gone to help a store owner I know set up and fix some stuff around the neighborhood for some good money. He…" Evan stopped for a moment, in thought as his head started to hurt. "I apologize, I can't quite remember, honestly. I had an accident sometime after and there's a large portion of my life's memories that are really iffy." This had only been a partial lie. When William had fixed Evan's head, he could fix him physically but a lot of things became harder for him to remember at certain points in his life. While he never really had much of a childhood or a time to experience life growing up like a normal person would, he functioned perfectly fine.

Normally, the aftereffects of losing your frontal lobe are a lot more severe than just some spotty memory, but as much as he hated to admit, his father was good at whatever he set his mind to. Michael understood and nodded in response to Evan's confession.

"It happens. Maybe you'll remember something when we get there." Said the night guard, which made the wolf next to him scoff loudly.

"In the dark? As much as I'd love to watch a pair of idiots stare into the dark trying to remember things, I believe we're out here for a more important reason than catching up on old times." As they began to get closer to the city, a sign to the right of the road greeted them. As Evan remembered vaguely, he remembered how pretty the marble welcome sign had been, but as they slowed to see it, it was evident how much had really changed. The sign's message had been almost incomprehensible with the amount of spray paint and other smudged colors caking the marble. While Evan couldn't remember whether or not Daylight had been this bad off when he came down here before, he knew that this sign wasn't always like this.

They finally made their way towards the edge of the city, buildings with vacant, ghostly looks towering over the vehicles on each side of the road. On their way there, they even saw the Daylight Orphanage, which had at least looked lived in but all the windows were dark. Michael looked towards Roxanne to see if the dot showed to be nearby, but it wasn't in the direction of the orphanage at all but further into town. As they made their way further into town, Michael started to point out things for Roxanne.

"You see how the sidewalk is sorta lifted right there?" Michael pointed out at the concrete pathway across the road from the T-junction. As Roxanne looked a bit closer, she could see that the concrete indeed was sticking up in not just one place, but a few places making it seem as if there was something trying to come from underground.

"Why is it like that?" She asked, interested in this phenomenon.

"Well, four or five years ago, we had something like a miniature earthquake happen that started destroying buildings, underground pipelines and more. The epicenter happened to be in the far part of Daylight and since Daylight is a decent way out from all the other towns around here, they received most of the damage. This is what caused all the initial havoc in this town, making everyone moved and turning it effectively into a ghost town." Roxanne had stared at the jaggedly raised ground, hoping this never happened to her pizzaplex.

As they turned and started going down the ruined road, which was rattling the car heavily, the dot on the watch seemed to be moving slowly. At first, Roxanne thought the sleep was getting to her as she rubbed her eyes but when she looked back, the dot had been moving after all showing that they were much closer to him now.

"Slow down." Roxanne commanded as Michael looked sideways at her. "We seem to be getting closer." Both cars slowed down and followed the wolf's careful directions, making a detour and having to turn around once, before getting to their destination of what seemed to be a partially crumbled brick warehouse. They all parked at the front and gathered together, everyone looking at Roxanne's watch, much to her annoyance.

"So… Gregory's in here?" Asked Mangle. Roxanne huffed, not enjoying being crowded.

"Yes, now back up. If you guys get any closer, I'll have to introduce you to my mother." She said with an annoyed tone. Mike scoffed at that.

"First off, how do you even know that saying? Secondly, you don't have a mom." As Roxanne turned towards the night guard to bicker, Evan stopped them.

"I get that you guys are tired, but we have to find Gregory. Who knows what trouble he's facing right now." The pairing shut up and nodded, forgetting the severity of the situation in their tired stupor. As the group made their way into the warehouse, Chara could feel a strange sensation. It was like they were being watched, but she wasn't sure where from.

She tightly gripped onto her human and hoped that everything went smoothly. She'd protect what was hers, even if it meant breaking her promise.

Gregory had been tied up in a familiar room to a familiar chair in an oh too familiar situation. He knew had been kidnapped and he knew exactly where he was. He could only hope that Evan and his family were okay. As the boy looked around the room, he realized he wasn't alone. In a chair nearby the only door in the room had been a man with long, black hair, a scruffy, unkempt beard and seemed to be carving out a small piece of wood with his knife. Next to him on the shelf had been smaller figurines of well crafted animals, making it seem as if this guy came here often. A noise came from the other side of the door as a familiar nun stepped inside.

"Ahh, I see you've finally awakened." Said Sister Helen through her cheery smile, who was making her way over to Gregory. The boy spat at her, leaving a glob of spit against her cheek.

"Let me go, bitch." Growled the boy while staring daggers at the old woman. Her face faltered, dropping the smile and twisting her facial features into something more hateful, the contempt for the boy absolutely dripping from every pour from her body. She quickly raised her hand before bringing it down, a loud smack resonating in the room. Gregory fell down with the chair and looked up at the woman angrily. His cheek hurt, but he knew he couldn't keep his mouth shut. The woman wiped her face off on a nearby rag with a face of disgust.

"How dare a brat like you spit on my face. If you weren't pulling people back for us, we would've killed you a long time ago." The nun looked back towards the man, who hadn't lifted his head from his project. "Hey, Carver, we'll have guests soon. They're showing up on the camera feed and I need you to welcome them in." The man picked his head up with a smile.

"And I can play with them, right?" Carver said, finally looking up from his carving with a smile. The woman nodded, impatiently waving him away.

"Just leave the pretty one alone. I have something special waiting for him." The man nodded and made his way out, leaving Gregory and Sister Helen alone. She moved closer to the boy, crouching down and grabbing his face by the cheeks with her hand. "Oh-ho… I'll have lots of fun with your newest catch, boy. I'll make sure to savor the meat."

As the boy looked at the crazy nun with fear, something peered through a gap in the wall with its green eyes gazing at the boy. A few clicks could be heard before it disappeared.

As Evan and the others had made it inside the warehouse, there had been an obvious sign that people had been occupying this space for a while. Boxes had been present, lying near the entrance to what seems to be the basement and none of them were covered in dust. The floor had been pretty clean for an abandoned building, minus the obvious footprint trail leading down into the basement. The basement had seemed to be the only path forward and, with a silent wave to the group from Evan, they quietly moved down into the depths.

The first thing to notice was that unlike the places nearby that seemed to be built in a much earlier era, this place had seemed to have been built no more than 5 or 10 years ago with very few cracks showing the rebar holding the concrete together. The hallway into the basement had been quite normal, minus a few awful smells that made everyone there hold their breath. At the end of the hallway there was a large room filled with more boxes opening up to 3 more paths without any sort of distinction of what they lead to. The group had been unsure of what to do when Mangle piped up.

"Why don't we split up?" She offered. This idea got immediate disapproval.

"And what? Die like they do in the movies?" Said Roxanne, words full of sass.

"What else do you propose we do, Roxanne?" Said the pink fox, crossing her arms and waiting for a response.

"Anything but that, that's for sure." Mike's hand landed on the wolf's shoulder, making her turn towards him.

"Unfortunately, I think you've been watching too many scary movies, my dear faye." The night guard said, receiving a disgusted noise from Roxanne. "I will have to agree with Mangle on this one. As much as I feel safer with the group, we'd cover a lot more ground apart."

"In that case, you and Roxy can go into one path while Mangle and Chara will take another one. I'll take the last hallway." Said Evan, who seemed to agree with the idea. Chara looked at her human, worried.

"Are you going to be fine by yourself?" Said Chara, who was clinging to her partner's arm. He smiled, looking at the puppet.

"I'll be fine, don't worry." He flexed, trying to make himself look big. "I think I'll be fine." Mangle laughs at him, grabbing the blushing Chara away.

"Yes, very impressive, Evan. Cmon, Sis. When he runs back to us all scared, we'll make sure to console him." Mangle teased as she started walking off with the puppet in hand, who was waving back towards Evan. The other two simply looked at each other, shrugged and moved towards the nearest doorway leaving Evan all by himself. Frankly, Evan was glad they were going in the ways there were because he could feel something behind the door behind him. He felt Remnant and while it was faint, it was present. The man steeled his resolve before walking past the door, unsure of what possible horrors would await him.

The clicking in the walls was as the sole man walked through the door on the opposite side of the hallway. The walls on this side of the basement had been made up of bricks and had holes to the point certain sections of the wall were threatening to, or already, cave in. The set of green eyes peered at the man and clicked once more before disappearing in the tight pathways in the walls, clicks fading into echoes.

After a few minutes of wandering down a dusty hall, Michael could confidently say there wasn't much to see down this hall. If you were excited about boxes full of random bullshit and/or paper, then this was your lucky day because that was about all they found down here. They weren't at the end of the road as the main hallway itself seemed to stretch on much farther than originally surmised and he had gotten curious. How did these older underground pathways keep their shape even though the rest of the town above ground was torn up? He thought to himself as he stepped over another box.

Roxanne didn't exactly seem to be enjoying herself much either as she was both taller and a bit thicker than the night guard, making her more susceptible to being caught on spider webs and other grimey things, making her cuss out in disgust behind Mike. As they made their way further in, they opened a door to a cleaner room and decided to take a break. As Roxanne sat down next to the human, he attempted to help her remove the webs from her fur.

"You know, Rox, if I didn't know any better, I'd say you're better at attracting webs than men." Mike said, bringing up a topic they constantly teased each other about. Roxanne huffed a bit at the comment.

"At least I'm better at it than a corpse." She retorted, receiving a weird look in return.

"I'd hope so, because I don't particularly want to attract men." He simply said.

"You know what I mean, smartass."

"Oh, so my ass is smart now. I swear you were calling me a dumbass just earlier."

"Mike."

"Rox."

"Fuck you."

"You too, pal." As they continued their banter, the door on the opposite side of the room had opened up, a man with many tattoos became visible holding a knife in his hand and casually stepped in as he looked at the pair with glee.

"Oh, you're already here." He said with his grimey, oily voice bounced off the walls. The man looked at them from in front of the door, locking it behind him. This immediately sent Roxanne into questioning mode, but was shut up quickly by Michael who saw the intent in this man's eyes. He turned to Roxanne without lifting his eyes from the man.

"Rox. The door. Now." He started to softly, but firmly, shoving her towards the door and she stumbled up, heading there with Mike in tow. The man smiled as they moved away from him, slowly stepping towards them.

"What's wrong? Can't stay and have a chat with a fan?" As Roxanne tried the door, it had been locked and she attempted to ram her body up against the door to no avail. The man's smile became bigger, seeing his prey struggle. "How about this? We'll talk and maybe we can make some sort of… deal? Allow me to introduce myself." The man bowed, his head almost touching the ground before coming back up. "They call me Carver." Roxanne looked back at him, slightly freaking out.

"Let us the fuck go, freak." She said sternly, looking at Carver. The man shook his head.

"Oh, but we're just getting started. Besides, I think I'm going to make my best creation yet." He pulled out a small wooden figurine of Roxanne from his pocket and held it out for the two to see. "You see, I carve things for a living. I make them beautiful and people buy them. That's why they call me Carver." Michael looked at the man warily before speaking.

"So, Carver… What do you want from us?" He said getting a delighted response out of the man.

"Why, allow me to show you!" The man ran towards a freezer that had been hidden behind some boxes and came out with what seemed to be a mask. "I would like to make another mask for a dear customer of mine who really needs to hide their face." As Mike looked closer, he could see red on the edges of the mask and realized it was not a mask after all. Bile rose into his throat as the implications had been set into his head, understanding what the man wanted. Roxanne, however, seemed to be calming down and looked at the night guard weirdly.

"Hey, Mike. If he just wants us to help with a mask, why are you looking like you're about to freak out?" Michael looked back at her and pointed at the mask before answering, trying to hold himself back from throwing up.

"Rox, that's not a mask. That's someone's actual face."

As the realization hit the wolf, the man's maniac smile grew almost touching his ears. The man wanted Mike's face and it didn't seem like he was going to take no for an answer.

Chara and Mangle had been progressing through the long winding and partially broken hall with relative ease, making a lot more progress than the other groups might have. It didn't seem as if people had come down this way, but they wanted to make sure to check every room in case they missed something. As they progressed along, Mangle could tell that Chara was worrying about Evan, so she tried to comfort her older sister.

"Chara, Evan will be fiiine." Mangle said as she opened the door for her black and white counterpart. "He's built more sturdy than both of us and the possibility of him getting hurt is close to zero." Chara nodded.

"But he always gets into some sort of trouble when I'm not with him and I regret not being there to support him." Said Chara, who had a sad tone in her voice. Mangle couldn't disagree with this as Evan did always seem to find trouble when on his own. They had stayed quiet for a bit longer as they finally reached the last room and searched it, coming out empty handed. Gregory had to be in one of the other two directions and this paranoid feeling Chara had got stronger, making her start to quicken her pace back towards the main room. Mangle followed behind her closely, struggling to keep up with the pace of her floating sister.

"Chara, hey!" Mangle pushed a box out of her way that she earlier ignored and rushed to keep up. "I understand that you're worried, but you're going to leave me behind at this rate." It didn't seem to quite fully get through to the puppet but she stopped dead in her tracks, back facing the pink foxy. She turned slowly around with an unreadable face as she looked at Mangle.

"Can you please go towards Mike and Roxanne's side?" Chara asked her, voice giving off a monotone sound. It always was concerning when Chara lost the emotion from her face and voice, making Mangle realize that something was wrong.

"Sis, what's wrong? I believe they'll be fi-"

"No, something's wrong and I can feel it. I don't know why but something is wrong. Something else is going on here and we're in danger." Mangle froze saying this as she looked around, seeing nothing. Chara had the best 6th sense out of all of the animatronics she's met thus far, besides maybe Fredbear, so when the puppet had a premonition it usually was right. Mangle wordlessly nodded and they continued moving on.

"But what about you, Sis?" Mangle asked as they sped towards the main room once again.

"I'm going to meet up with Evan. I don't know who it is that's in danger but please watch after those two for me. We can't let more people die. Not this time." Chara had felt a lot of guilt for being unable to stop the children murders years before and while she didn't particularly like Michael, there was no reason for him to die when they were just helping.

As they continued on their way, they could only hope that they were all okay.

The clicking green eyes had moved away from the puppet and pink fox, realizing it was too much trouble hiding itself as they were currently. Only if I could be fixed, it thought as it headed back towards the man of interest. Maybe it was wrong to wish for something so pleasant.

It had taken several times to be thrown away for it to realize that it was unneeded by this world and yet, it couldn't let go and sought for something more so it proceeded to move forward, hoping to find a purpose once again.

As Evan rounded the corner, he came to a door that had seemed to be recently placed upon the hinges of the doorframe, looking in much better condition than the other doors he had seen. He opened up the door slowly, watching out for anything that may harm him before making his way into the door. As he walked inside, the door closed behind him and locked, making him try the door knob again and finding that it was, indeed, locked. He suddenly heard noise up ahead, something that sounded akin to pained breathing and made his way further in against his better judgment.

The room had been quite dark and filled with many barred doors. The floor had seemed to be made from wood and something resembling stone or brick that was cracked and shattered beyond recognition from the wear and tear of time. As he looked further into the dark, damp room, he saw what he was looking for. It was Gregory who had looked beaten and bruised, laying against a chair unmoving. Evan saw him and ran towards him.

"G-Gregory!" Evan called out, unable to believe his eyes. The boy had looked in serious pain and the man ran out until he realized that someone was behind the boy with a knife to his neck. As the lights flickered on, Sister Helen could be seen with one hand on a light switch and another hand holding a knife to the young boy's neck. The woman smiled sincerely at the man, who stopped in his tracks.

"Well, aren't you just a lively one?" Said Sister Helen as she peered towards the man through cracked eyes. "Lively… but dumb." Her tone went from cheery to sinister in an instant as her face twisted into a wicked smile, showing her sharp, shark-like teeth jutting out of her face.

"Leave the boy alone." Said Evan as attempted to move closer slowly, making the woman push the knife to the boy's neck in response, a line of blood flowing out from it. He stopped moving entirely and put his hands up.

"Boy, I don't think it's smart to move any closer than you are unless you want the brat to die." The woman said, venom spewing from her words. Evan nodded and stayed still.

"Okay, my hands are up and I'm not moving… What do you want from me?" The woman points to the pair of handcuffs hanging from the ceiling by a chain. He looked at her again and she threatened him, pushing the knife against the boy's neck once again giving him no real choice in the matter. The man put his hands through the cuffs, which at further inspection had seemed to have a few specks of blood on them and tightened them around his wrists. The woman laughed, dropped the knife from Gregory's throat and put a hand to her face, moving towards Evan at an even pace.

"I always think that there isn't an idiot who'd fall for something like this!" Sister Helen said as she continued to laugh, staring at the man she was approaching through the gaps between her fingers. "Every time I let this kid go, some idiot comes and gets attached to him then they come to save him. What a bunch of emotion driven fools!" She laughed as Evan stared daggers at her, realizing that the red blotches on his cuffs and the dark spot under him were probably blood.

"You sick bitch." Spat Evan at the woman. "You're no nun, you're more fit to be the devil's messenger than anything else." He kicked at her, which she dodged and grabbed his leg, realizing how heavy it was.

"Whoa, a big boy. You'll be extra tasty, I bet." She let go of his leg and walked around him. "You're right, I'm no nun. I dislike the name Helen, too. That was the name of my bitch mother who I took my sweet time killing years ago. I'm sure you've heard of Insatiable Susie, haven't ya?" Evan's eyes widened as he realized the person he had been facing was a state wanted criminal who ate humans, a cannibal.

He had heard a lot about her in his time getting out of ARI which had been one reason he struggled getting jobs to work in the first place. She was a named killer who randomly targeted people, lured them in and killed them for their meat. She also had changed her looks a lot over the years because the last time they almost caught her, she was dressed up as a college student in her very early 20s. Evan never thought he'd meet a famous serial killer here but that posed a dark question. He looked her in her eyes with a dark face.

"Flirting with me won't get you anywhere but in my stomach, hotcakes." She said, spinning her knife by the string on the handle by her finger.

"How… How long have you had Gregory do this for?" Evan said hesitantly. Her smile widened as she decided to play with him.

"For a couple of years now. Frankly, I didn't think a past victim would show their face to me so easily." She said, making more questions than she was answering.

"What do you mean, past victim?"

"Oh, you didn't know?" She said, tilting her head at him. "Well, a shame the boy isn't conscious right now or I'd love to see his face as I tell him the story again. Where do I start…" She moved around before leaning against the desk near Evan, but barely out of reach for his leg. Not that kicking her will really solve his problems now. The chain holding the handcuffs seemed to be new and a rebar ring holding the chain stuck out of the concrete, making it seem like breaking out was not an option.

"Well, I suppose we can start with how I found them to begin with." She said, relaxing against the desk. "I had put out an ad for a babysitter back in my prime before I had my fame to find some delicious targets and, while a few people did request, a lot of them were older couples. They aren't exactly my taste so I made some excuses. All of them except one, however… In comes the boy's parents who needed some time alone for the night for their anniversary so as they went out, I set up my traps and when they came home…" She made a gesture with the knife against her neck, dragging it lightly. "Well, I didn't kill them immediately. Luckily, they had a basement in their home and I hung them up by their hands like pigs in a butcher shop." She demonstrated how she hooked them up with her hands.

"As they were begging for mercy, I cut them and dealt with them slowly. The look on the boy's face when his parents finally stopped moving was priceless!" She laughed as she imagined it. "I wish I had my camera then!" Evan had felt sick hearing this. No one should ever have to go through that experience, especially as young as he was. As Susie stopped laughing, she smiled wickedly at the man. "I love when people ask that question. The look on their face is just so… delicious" She moved closer, in which she dodged another kick from Evan.

As the woman kept trying to come closer to the man, a bit of a ruffled nearby went unnoticed and suddenly there was one more presence in the room.

Michael threw a punch at Carver once again, missing barely, as the man went in with his own fist. It connected to Michael's jaw, but barely disoriented him. He fought to keep his vision from going purple, which grew with the amount of cuts he was receiving. Roxanne had been banging on the door, attempting to get themselves out of the small space to little avail. The door didn't seem to be too thick, but it was solid.

As Carver dove at Mike with his knife, the night guard had an idea. He took the hit to his metal arm, leaving an opening to punch Carver in the face. The maniac stumbled a bit, regaining his balance after the punch and spit out a bit of blood.

"You've got good survival instincts, that's for sure." Said Carver as he simply just smiled at the very exhausted Michael who just nodded.

"Well, working with a wolf like this one behind me, you gotta." He slightly looked back while keeping an eye on Carver. "Roxanne, please hurry up." He called out to her, who came back over.

"I don't think we're busting out of the door. I'll fight with you." She put her hands up, getting ready to fight. The wicked man simply smiled as he pulled out a taser from his pocket, making the wolf back off a bit. Michael motioned for her to move back.

"Just leave it to me, Rox. He'll have to get through me before he can touch you." As he said that, the dual wielding maniac came charging at full speed. Michael caught the taser arm, pushing him over his shoulder, feeling a sharp pain in his side. Carver flipped and hit the door Roxanne was next to, stumbling up with the taser in hand.

"Well, you haven't won yet. I still have this taser right her-" Carver was cut off as the door nearby slammed open with a kick, shoving the taser that got hit by the door into Carver's neck, effectively making him seize up and drop down to the floor. Mangle looked at the two of them from the door, looking curious to what happened.

"Did I hit you guys with the door?" She said innocently, really not meaning to hit anyone with the door. "You guys sounded like you were in trouble so I rushed and kicked the door." Michael shook his head.

"No, you did great. Thank you, Mangle." He stepped forward, but felt a wet trickle on his back. As he looked back, he realized that the knife was stuck in the side of his back. He simply pulled it out and dropped it on the ground, receiving looks of aghast from Roxanne and Mangle. He shrugged at them. "It's not biggie, just a flesh wound. Are the others safe?" Mangle shook her head.

"I split up with Chara to come find you guys and she's heading towards Evan right now." Michael nodded and sat down on a box, completely exhausted. Even when he and Roxanne fought outside the pizzaplex for fun, it never felt this bad. He was going to rest his head now that he was okay or he was certain he'd collapse.

He could only hope that everything was better on the other side.

Gregory woke up in a lot of pain. He could barely see out of his eyes due to the inflammation and breathing was hard for him. He could hear that wicked woman laughing and the sounds of another person nearby. As his eyes opened up, he could see Evan chained up to the ceiling. He wanted to call out but instead he heard a clicking sound behind him, very faintly, and a voice that followed.

"Boy, are you awake?" Said a feminine voice, soothing but childish. He attempted to look back, but the area behind him was still very dark.

"Who are you?" Gregory struggled to say, his voice coming out very quietly. The voice responded in kind.

"A friend. I would like to help you get rid of that woman." Gregory thought and felt many things for a moment: frustration, anger, annoyance, doubt, jealousy. He rotated through many emotions until he realized one thing. Maybe he could get rid of this problem and save Evan. He steeled his resolve and took a deep breath, his veins pumping with adrenaline.

"Okay, what do you want me to do?" The voice was quite happy with this, giving off a few clicks before whispering into the boy's ear.

Evan had been fighting the woman's advances off with his feet. He felt like he was doing a pretty good job thus far until she caught one of his feet and pulled him closer, getting near to him from his right side. She huffed into his ear as she held the knife up to his throat. He stopped struggling immediately, afraid of what she might do to him.

"Now, that wasn't so hard, was it?" She teased as she dragged the tip of the knife across this chest and moved downwards. "Now, how about I get started with-" A loud noise came from the gated room nearby, door slamming shut and Gregory now had been gone from his seat behind her. Susie had made a 'tch' sound with her tongue before letting Evan go and moving towards the door. "You little shit, get out here right now." She flung open the door and looked around only to be greeted with a wooden chair to the head, knocking her to the side. The boy came into view, landing the chair onto her again before throwing it to the side and coming to Evan. He had tears in his eyes as he clung to Evan's shirt.

"Gregory, are you okay?" Said Evan with heavy amounts of concern. The boy nodded his head as he buried his face into the man's stomach.

"I'm sorry I led you here, Evan. I didn't mean to, I didn't want to get hurt anymore. I'm sorry." The boy continued to plead with the man as Evan attempted to comfort him.

"I know, I know. It wasn't your fault. Let's get out of here so we can get out of here." The boy looked up with tears in his eyes as he sniffled a bit.

"We're still family, right?" The boy said quietly through the sniffles. The man nodded with a small smile.

"Yeah. We're still family, buddy. Now, if you can, please look around for something to get me out of this thing-" Evan saw movement out of the corner of his eyes and he was the woman holding up some sort of gun and screamed to Gregory. "Gregory, watch out!" The boy looked back in time to throw himself to the side as the dart hit Evan square in the stomach. The technician could feel his body becoming numb as he realized what it was. The woman growled as she looked around for the boy who ran away, her face covered in blood.

"Come back here, you little shit!" Susie shrieked as she spit out a tooth. "I'll fucking kill you for that!" She spotted the boy nearby as he ran behind Evan for cover. The boy wanted to apologize, but he knew that he needed the man for his plan to work. As the woman tried to move around Evan to get to the boy, the man was kicking out at her weakly. Finally, he couldn't feel his lower half, going limp and hanging from the cuffs tied to the roof and Susie thought this was her moment. As she rushed forward, Gregory pushed Evan into her causing the woman to stumble back. He ran out and pushed her again quickly, shoving her back inside the room but not before she could grab him arm, sending them both flying into the room. The ground groaned as it felt severe stress from their weight and its age.

She grabbed the boy and slammed him into the floor, shaking the floor underneath them but she didn't recognize this as she had lost her mind to rage. She got on top of the boy and hit him in his face a few times, screaming the entire while.

"You ruined my face and broke my nose!" She shrieked. "Do you understand how much work it takes to look this way? I'll kill you and send you to see your parents." Gregory laughed weakly, feeling beaten up and defeated, but she had fallen for his trap.

"Then I guess we'll both have to go see them, huh?" Susie had been confused for a moment until it had been evident that he wasn't planning on going out alone.

Underneath the floor, the green eyes could see the final struggles of a foundation for the floor that Gregory and Susie were on. With a click, it violently forced the support to snap, sending both of them into the dark abyss, dropping down far into the ground.

Evan watched as Gregory and Susie both dropped from the give of the floor, sending them both screaming into a long drop wherever the hole lead. His heart plummeted as he realized Gregory didn't make it out. He screamed as much as he could, feeling his lips being numb from the dart planted in his stomach.

"Gregory!" Cried Evan as he hoped that the boy somehow made it out. He heard nothing, not even the screams anymore. His eyes were tearing up as he called out again. "Gregory, please! Answer me!" The silence was deafening. Tears ran down Evan's face as he realized the boy didn't make it out and those tears turned into sorrowful sobs.

He heard Gregory's final line to the wicked woman so he knew that the boy planned this out. He sacrificed himself to avenge his parents and save Evan. The man cried to himself, beating himself up mentally. Maybe if I was faster or stronger, it wouldn't have come to this. Thought Evan. The man had felt many emotions often, but rarely did he feel angry but, at that moment, Evan was the most angry he's been in a very long time. He was angry at himself.

He yelled out in anger and wept for there wasn't much else he could do.

Chara heard a cry from Evan as she rounded the corner, making it to a scene that sent her into worry and confusion. He human had been chained up to the room, hanging there limply while crying with no one else around. She rushed to Evan, who looked up to see her with eyes full of tears. She hugged him tightly, wrapping her arms and ribbons around him and made a distorted noise from her body. She looked up at him and saw his eyes were vacant and sad.

"Evan, what's wrong?" She asked finally, looking at him. "Where's Gregory or the lady who took him?" He opened his mouth to speak before tears started to run again.

"They're dead." He said simply, knocking the metaphorical breath out of the puppet. She stared at Evan for a moment, regaining her bearings before asking.

"What do you mean they're dead? Where are they?" When it was evident that he wasn't going to elaborate on it, she decided that comforting him now was more important. "Here, let me help you out of these." Chara proceeded to look around for a key before she saw one right in front of what looked like a cave-in of the floor. She picked it up, let her human loose and he dropped to his knees, rubbing his wrists. The man hugged the puppet as soon as he could, holding her tightly for a while. She rubbed his back and cooed a bit, doing what she normally does when he's freaking out and hoped that the man would come back to his senses soon.

Soon enough, the rest of the group got there to see Evan holding on dearly to Chara who had been comforting him. Mangle pushed through and moved towards the pair, kneeling down next to Evan.

"Evan?" Said Mangle confused. The man peered up at Mangle as Michael and Roxanne came closer, behind the pink fox. "What's wrong?"

"Where's Gregory?" Piped in Michael, getting a death glare from the puppet and making him shut up. Evan slowly got up and moved towards the collapsed floor, peering inside of the hole.

"Before I answer, do you think it's possible to survive a fall down there?" They all looked towards the hole. Michael pulled down his night guard flashlight from his belt and shined it down there, but didn't see an end. The man shook his head, making the technician cover his face with his hand, trying to hold back more tears.

"What's going on, Evan?" Asked Mangle from behind, putting her hand on his back. Evan took a deep breath before continuing on.

"The woman, the nun, had been a serial killer named Susie. Insatisible Susie. She made me confine myself up to the ceiling or she was going to kill Gregory and when she attempted to attack me, Gregory led her into the room and attacked her. He did something and made the floor give way, taking them both down to the bottom." Mangle covered her mouth and Chara held onto Evan. Roxanne stood there, mouth open, not saying anything as her brain was trying to process that a boy died here. Michael just looked down, unsure of what to say. Finally, Michael moved up to the man and put an arm around him, trying to comfort him. Michael wasn't good with these sorts of feelings and it felt awkward even as he tried to. He looked at Evan and sighed.

"Why don't we get out of here?" Said Michael quietly. "It's getting late and I know very well that everyone here needs some sleep." Everyone was quiet and still for a minute until Evan finally nodded, starting to move from the building. As they got outside and into their vehicles, Mike saw Evan off without a word and watched him drive down the road, heading out of town. Roxanne was sitting in the passenger's seat contemplating what happened back there.

"We almost died back there… Someone did die. A few people did. Some guy is cutting off people's faces and using them like masks and for what?" She said, the realization finally hitting her. She looked at Michael and grabbed his shirt. "Michael, please tell me, why?" He wasn't sure what she was asking.

"Why what?" He replied.

"Why did that boy have to die? Could we have done better?" Gregory's death had impacted her more than he had thought. Michael had spent his life watching people die and decay just to come back to life and want to kill for revenge. Death was normal in his life so while another death was something he grieved over, it wasn't as impactful on him as it was everyone else. He shook his head, looking at the wolf and patting her head.

"You did your best today. It's not your fault that he died. Sometimes, these things happen and that's why we need to prevent them before they get to this level." Roxanne had curled up a bit, taking Michael's assurance and said nothing more. He buckled her and himself up before driving back towards the pizzaplex.

The drive was deathly quiet and Mike was sure that Roxanne would have a lot of questions for him in the morning, but he gave her the time she needed to grieve. He could do that much for her.

The following morning had been a blur of Evan going through the motion. While he didn't know Gregory for too long, he had felt like he had someone who looked up to him and someone he could bond with. Maybe he wasn't his child, but he had been loved and it affected the man poorly for the week to come. He called his co-CEO to explain what had happened and requested another day off to grieve. It was given and he spent his days in bed, rolled up with Chara in emotional agony as the boy's words echoed into his head.

"We're still a family, right?"

The man couldn't get Gregory's words out of his head and for the following days, they haunted him. In addition to this, Lillie magically disappeared at the same time, sending Foxy into a depression spiral. The pirate fox wouldn't even speak anymore unless absolutely necessary and the TV stayed off. He wasn't sure where the small doll ended up, but he hoped that they would find her soon. Evan spent his days curled up in bed feeling emotionally depleted, sometimes with Chara joining him, or sleeping off his tiredness. He was starting to feel better after resting, but he couldn't forget the words Gregory said.

After a week, he got a call from Michael later in the day. He picked up the phone and answered.

"Hey, Michael." Greeted Evan. He had been drinking coffee while looking down at blueprints for Foxy, whose parts finally came in.

"Hey, Evan." Greeted Michael back, Who sounded a lot livelier than he did about a week ago. "I just called to check on you. I know you needed time, so I decided now to call you." Evan nodded his head, sipping on his coffee.

"Well, thank you for checking up on me. I'm okay, just making through day by day. I miss the little guy, you know?" Michael hummed in agreement from the other side. "You know, I was just thinking about calling you, too. I wanted to invite you, Cooper, Arin and maybe Roxy to come to our business dinner. We've been good business partners for a small amount of time and we thought it would be good to invite you guys to eat with us." The night guard hummed on the other side of the phone in thought.

"When is it?"

"Well, we pushed it back a week so it should be this upcoming Friday, so in a couple of days."

"Mmh, I'll run it by them and let you know about it. I wouldn't mind coming personally before I headed to my night shift."

"Sounds great." They quickly exchanged farewells before hanging up the phone. Chara moved over to Evan and hugged him, her human reciprocating it. It had been a long past two weeks, but he knew that he couldn't be down in the dumps forever. He wouldn't ever forget the boy who made him feel like a full family for less than a day and he'd eternally live on in his heart. While he was almost certain that Gregory had died, he had a feeling they'd meet again as his heart warmed under the affection he received from Chara.

Perhaps it was the fantasy he built deep down in his heart, but for the first time since the incident, he had been at peace. Maybe it was going to be okay in the end.

The rain pounded down harder than it usually did this time of year in the city of Daylight as a familiar pair of green eyes scuttled along the backways with a back of things in its metallic claw. It had been a very, very long time since it felt like it was needed and it was life's greatest joy to receive requests at her patients discretion. As it made its way into a crack in the ground, leading down a hole looking like it was burrowed for a family of wild animals, it clicked a few times as the tunnel opened up into what seemed like an abandoned basement of a nearby home.

The eyes hummed a small tune as it scampered along the path of boxes and into a place with a bed of covers. The eyes giggled as they came upon a sleeping boy, shaking them slightly with her free hand. A small animatronic doll had started dancing on top of the boy's body, humming a high pitch version of the green eyes tune.

"Oh, my dear boy who could." Said the green eyes with its melodic voice, causing the boy to wake from his deep slumber, shifting around in his khaki shorts. "I'm here with some things for you and I'm certain you won't be disappointed."

A pair of hazel eyes opened up to meet the green eyes, for the boy had awakened and his eyes were determined to survive. He'd get back what he lost, he promised.

Authors Notes

I won't lie, that entire chapter was an emotional ride for me to write. When I started, I felt very reluctant to point the story in this direction but after giving it a bit more time, it just felt right. I'm glad I went through with it and wrote it the way I did because it really did make it feel authentic and from the heart to the very end.

On another note, I was informed that fanfic doc editor eats my scene cuts and some other stuff, so I'll be going back and fixing all of that from now on.

With all that being said, I hope y'all enjoyed it as much as I did and I'll see y'all in the next one!
