New chapter, new news. Let me tell ya, that surprise I was talking about ages ago is finally here!

Me and PLR (ParticularlyLargeRat) have a discord now for both of our fics. I highly suggest joining and becoming a part of the community. I'm sure that sometime in the future we'll do giveaways and stuff, but for now it's just us talking to others about our fics and making inappropriate jokes. Just the usual things.

This chapter is also the longest one I've had thus far, as it's a whopping 18k words in comparison to my next highest chapter of 15k words. I've been anticipating this chapter for quite a while and it was very fun to write. I hope yall enjoy and see yall in the discord.

(I'll be posting the link like every chapter from now on so you don't have to go and find it if you decide you wanna join at a later date.)

Biding Time

It had been some time since the formal business gathering had taken place, throwing the Aftons deep into the month of October. As any holiday, they'd throw together decor for their home to make it more lively, putting out stuff for Halloween that was closing in quickly. The outside of the house had been styled up in a similar fashion of Fazbear's Fright, putting up spare animatronic heads on the porch filled with timed lights instead of pumpkins and a skeleton sitting on the chair on the front porch wearing a nearly identical suit to that of the one his older brother wore when he worked at the attraction.

Naturally, they didn't have everything there as it had been distasteful to even put traces of William Afton, or Springtrap, anywhere near their house. Otherwise, it looked very well done. Lots of cobwebs had been attached everywhere and there was even a sign at the front that said, 'Enter only if you want a fright' had been posted on the front lawn. Perhaps there was more to be done, but they still had time before Halloween day actually came around.

It had also been received quite well from the locals who had made their way to greet Evan, knocking on his door to compliment his house. Anyone who lived within eyesight of his home would know how much he had loved animatronics as he had his own. Even with the not-so-recent release of information about the murders and crime happening behind the scenes of past restaurants, everyone understood his love for his metal creations were different than William's. I'm sure some would have thought differently if they knew he was related to that madman.

In either case, Chara and Mangle both had been seen on his front porch a few times greeting the neighbors as they picked up packages or simply sat on the porch under the awning when the rain would pour. It had been no secret that these animatronics had been life-like in the same way the Rockstar animatronics had been. Everyone loved them, and even waved to them… well, other than one person.

For the past few years, a young girl, probably in her mid to upper teens, had been spying on their home and was quite wary of both Mangle and Chara. The worst part about this was that she had come up to Evan a few times, accusing the man of housing murderous animatronics. Evan didn't understand where this came from for a long while and didn't enjoy that his family was getting verbally harassed behind their backs like this, but there wasn't much he could do about a kid so he ignored it. Atleast, until the girl took it a step further.

Chara had been fixing up a costume for her sister when she heard a familiar sound. Something hard hit the window next to the front door, smashing and splatting on impact. When Chara turned around, she heard another one hit the front door and she realized that girl had been back again. The puppet immediately got up and went down into the basement, where Evan had been working on Foxy.

"Evan, that girl is back." Said Chara, which made Evan look up in concern. "She's egging the house currently." He sighed and set his tools down before following the puppet upstairs, not very excited to confront a young girl with zero will to reason. As Evan opened up the door and opened his mouth to yell at the girl, the last thing he saw was something speeding in his direction before he felt pain and a gooey mess covering his face.

"Sorry!" was said with the voice of a girl before he heard grassy footsteps trail away from his house. Evan attempted to wipe the egg off his face as Chara came back to him with a towel. He thanked the puppet before cleaning his face, thinking about how irritated he was at the young girl. If it had been any other human but me, it would've hurt them. He thought to himself as he scowled about how reckless she was. He picked up his phone and dialed a number.

He'd make sure to get her back for this and he knew just how he'd do it.

A few minutes prior to…

Katherine hated very few things in life and the one thing she hated the most were the same things that took her grandfather from her: animatronics. She heard about them many times from rumors to ads on TV, but the place she heard about them the most had been from her grandfather as a kid.

Back when she lived in Pennsylvania with her grandfather, he used to tell lots of stories about the pizzerias he worked in before he was injured. It had been a mystical place where animatronics, that had basically seemed to be alive, would entertain kids with cheesy and catchy tunes and serve children lots of gooey pizza. It had been such a wonderful place for her grandfather to work, until it had come back to bite him… literally.

She remembered her grandfather telling her about his accident in the pizzeria, recalling it vividly.

Katherine had climbed up the wobbly wooden stairs into the attic, where her grandfather enjoyed drinking and looking out of the highest window during the sunset. As she made her way up, she saw him in his normal spot, drinking whiskey straight from the bottle. She knew it couldn't've been healthy, but she knew that she couldn't convince him to stop drinking anytime soon.

Katherine sat on the crate across from her grandfather as she rested his head on his hand and stared out of the window. She couldn't quite see the look on his face because he had half of a mask to cover the scars from his accident years ago which took up the greater part of the left of his face. He looked at her and sighed a bit, twitching like he always did. She always wondered why he wore a mask on part of his face but the most she ever got was that it was an accident from a long time ago. Today she wanted the truth and, while she didn't enjoy that her grandfather drank as much as he did, she realized it was the best time to ask him.

"Grandpa." Said the young Katherine, looking up at the grandfather's face. "Can you tell me the story of why you got that mask?" The old man chuckled as he put his drink down and leaned over to her, patting her head.

"Didn't your mother tell you about that, Katty?" He said, smiling at her. "It was just an accident." The young girl pushed her grandfather's hand away from her, pouting heavily.

"I know that's not all that was to it. I wanna know!" She whined, receiving a heavy sigh from the old man across from her.

"Okay, only if you keep it a secret, y'here?" She lit up like a light and nodded her head in confirmation. The man grabbed at his mask and gingerly started to remove it. The sight that she thought she could handle was suddenly a bit much for her as-

A car door closing in the distance woke Katherine from her thoughts as she realized she had been hiding in the brush nearby for a bit too long and that, if she was spotted, she would get in trouble. She shook her previous thoughts out of her head and focused back on the mission. While her grandfather couldn't do anything about the animatronics, she was determined to do something. Yet, there wasn't much a 17 year old girl could do. Even though she had a part time job and a car, it didn't make much of a difference as everyone still treated her like a child and didn't take her seriously. This time, though, they were going to have to take her seriously and she knew just how to do it.

It had started getting late in the evening with the sun barely peeking over the horizon as she made her move, taking the egg carton out of her bag. She had done this a couple of times and knew when the best point to do it was. She had to drive a point home: she did not want these robots in her city! As she wound up her arm quickly, soon, too, did the eggs start flying.

She hit the top of the house first, realizing that wouldn't do much to grab their attention and started aiming for their front porch. The first one hit the window on the right of the door, nailing it cleanly as it splattered and dripped down the edge of the windowsill. The next one, just for personal decorative touch, had hit the window on the left of the door this time, earning her some satisfaction points from the sound of the egg crunching up against the window. She knew the next target now that she played this out like a game in her mind. The place worth the most points had been the front door.

As Katherine winded up her throwing arm and launched the egg, the door she had been aiming at had quickly opened and Evan appeared before promptly getting hit with an egg directly on his forehead. She gasped out in horror, thinking that she may have hurt the man until she saw the puppet-like animatronic beside him, staring daggers at the girl, in which case she felt that fearing for her life was a bigger concern.

"Sorry!" She yelled out as she scrambled to her feet, with stuff in her hands, and sprinted down the sidewalk back to her home, not stopping until she made it to her front lawn. She laid on her back, panting heavily, being grateful that she got away from that thing next to the man. She had seen it before and it even talked to her with some pretty woman's voice. It was so life-like and authentic to the point that if she didn't see who had talked to her, she would've thought that there was a woman living with Mr. Nafto, but it wasn't real, it just couldn't be. The thought of the puppet made her shiver down her back as she got up with her stuff and headed to the door.

The door opened as Katherine reached to grab the door knob, revealing her mother standing in front of her with a look of disappointment as she spoke into the phone.

"Oh, here she is, Mr. Nafto." Said Katherine's mother, who had been irritatedly tapping her foot. "I'll make sure to have a word with her." The young girl cursed under her breath, realizing she had been caught already. Maybe she should've gotten toilet paper or something instead so that she wasn't immediately questioned. Something her mother had been talking about suddenly caught her attention. "...ourse I can lend you her for an afternoon or two! She'll be grounded for at least a week, anyways, so it's not like she has much else to go… Mhm… Call me back if she doesn't listen to you… Okay, thank you… Goodbye." Her mother hung up the phone before looking back to her daughter with a slightly angry look.

"Oh hey, Mom!" Said Katherine, trying to defuse the situation. "I'm just coming home from.. Uh… buying some eggs and I thought that-"

"Oh no you don't, missy." Snapped her mother, shutting her up immediately. "I know what you did and there were even eyewitnesses this time. Do you really think you can pull this kind of stuff again and get away with it when the only person who has the gall to deface Mr. Nafto's house is you?!" The young girl realized she was in a lot of trouble and, instead, attempted to apologize.

"I'm sorry, Mom, but he has those gross things living in his home and-"

"We've talked about this before, Katherine Beal. You shouldn't have been going around there to begin with. I've had it with you fighting with people over animatronics so you will go apologize personally to Mr. Nafto tomorrow and when he tells you to do chores, you will do them, too." This sounded outrageous to the young girl.

"But what about movie night with Amanda tomorrow?" Katherine argued.

"Oh, and you are grounded until next week and if you keep causing problems, you'll be learning to live without seeing friends, using your phone or having any of those fun privileges you normally have." The young girl suddenly became angry at her mother and yelled at her.

"Fine! I don't want to see your face!" She stomped up the stairs to her room as her mother called for her.

"Young lady, come down here this instant!" Katherine slammed her door and locked it behind her, laying on her bed with her arm over her eyes. Today didn't turn out as well as she thought it should've and, while she realized her mistake, she felt as if her mother had been overreacting a bit. Well, maybe not… She did hit Mr. Nafto in the face with an egg. It wasn't on purpose, but she still felt a bit bad about it and decided to suck it up emotionally and get ready for tomorrow.

Like hell was she going to go into the house with those demons without some sort of preparation. She knew exactly what she was going to take.

-SB-

The next day, around noon, a knock came from the front door of Evan's house as Mangle, Chara and Evan had been sitting around in the kitchen eating brunch that Chara made. Evan got up to answer the door and was happy to see the person standing at his door.

"Come on in, Katherine." Said Evan, motioning the teenager to come on in. She had her backpack on her, which had been weird since it was a weekend but it wasn't too out of place, and she huffed before coming inside his house. Her eyes surveyed the room she just walked into, the living room from the looks of it, before they landed on the doorway to the kitchen. Both Chara and Mangle had peered from the side of the door, staring at the girl and giving her chills down her spine. She had just got there, but she was already ready to leave.

"Calm down, girls. She's here to give me a helping hand so make sure you're nice to her." The two animatronics look at each other before going back to their seats at the table, eating their chocolate chip pancakes while eyeing the young lady. Evan smiled at her and motioned her along. "Would you like some pancakes?" She eyed the delicious and fresh pancakes then the passive aggressive animatronics, sitting and eating at the table before shaking her head.

"I'd love to but… I oughta help you out first." Katherine said, excusing her way out of the potentially dangerous situation. She kept her hand on her pocket that had the taser in it, remembering what her grandfather told her about the animatronics. Evan nodded and led her to the basement, which the young her had been hesitant about at first but stepped into anyways, which held his workshop.

Immediately she noticed two other animatronics in the room: A mostly built red fox animatronic and a slumped over blueish purple bunny animatronic that seemed to be inactive or sleeping. Both of these animatronics shot red flags into her head as she remembered the stories of animatronics that sounded a lot like these two. She sorta felt the same way about the puppet looking animatronic, but it had looked more life-like than her grandfather spoke of. Foxy was sitting on the table his head normally rested on, his new body fully on show.

Like the other animatronics, he was given a mostly life-like body that was seamless and his skin grew red, lush fur on it. His teeth no longer looked like jagged metal pieces, but instead were pearly whites like that of a real carnivorous canine. The only thing missing was his left leg, which had been laying next to him on the table. Just about everything about the replacements had made Foxy look so alive that it was scary to Evan.

He knew he had been granted with his father's gift of knowledge and problem solving but, unlike his father, he didn't want to play 'God'. The only thing that made this work as smoothly as it did was the remaining large canister of Remnant Evan scoured up before fleeing ARI. With the scarce amount of Remnant they have left, they would have to be careful in the future until they could procure some more. Luckily, William had devices in his home for creating Remnant usually in the home where he grew up, but Evan didn't want to go back unless absolutely necessary.

Foxy saw Katherine staring at him and he gave her a goofy grin and a wave. She stared back at him, a bit afraid except for the fact that he didn't seem aggressive towards her. She waved back at him with a nervous smile, trying to work up the courage to talk to the fox.

"Aye, lass. I don' bite." Said Foxy in his rich, deep pirate accent, stunning the young girl into silence. The fox pirate looked over to Evan, looking a bit worried. "Evan, I tink she be a bit broken somewhere in the head, ol' pal." The technician rolled his eyes.

"Katherine, this is Foxy the Pirate." Evan said as he motioned to the red fox who began to wave at the girl once again. "Foxy, this is Katherine, the girl who continues to egg our home because she doesn't agree with animatronics in our family being alive." Katherine's head snapped to the man as she realized what he had said to the potentially dangerous animatronic in front of her. She attempted to stutter out an excuse before something happened that surprised her.

"Bah, whatever. Ye be not the first ta wish the death of ol' Capt'in Foxy n' ye won' be the last. Come take a gander o'er 'ere and keep yer ol' pirate capt'in company fer a bit." Astonished and stunned, Katherine stood there with her mouth agape until Evan spoke to her as he was tinkering around on his lifted workbench.

"It would probably be best that you get acquainted with him, Katherine. This is who we'll be working on today." She closed her mouth and gulped, realizing there was no real way out of this now. She moved closer to Foxy, carefully staying out of his reach, but proceeded to talk a bit to him.

"Uhm… you're alive?" Said the teen. She mentally facepalmed as the words left her mouth, scolding herself. The fox simply just chuckled, not batting an eye.

"Aye, lass. I be the liveliest pirate yer eyes could e'er come 'cross. I ain't in me best condition right now, but soon I'll be back in action. With yer help, o'course." She shook her head a bit, still not convinced of this idea.

"My grandfather told me that you were a dangerous robot and that you used to attack people. Is that true?" Both Evan's and Foxy's ears had perked up in hearing this information, realizing that there had been an underlying cause to the teen's aggression. Foxy stared at the girl before taking on a soft tone.

"Katherine, was it?" Said Foxy. She nodded to him.

"Just… Just call me Kat. It's easier." The foxy nodded before continuing on.

"Kat, well… I suppose I can try answerin' yer questions but before I do, how do ya know bout all that exactly?" He heard the words 'grandfather', but that didn't exactly clear much up.

"My grandfather used to work for a previous Fazbear's location before he had an accident." The words 'accident' really didn't put them in a better position as Foxy understood exactly what it meant for 'accidents' to happen in a location years ago.

"W-well, I will say that yer grandfather be a smart man." Foxy said, starting off slowly. "We did-, we used to be very aggressive years past when we were still singin' on stage, other than meself, o'course. I were a twitchy thing, I was, before Evan 'ere found me."

"So… did you, you know… attack anyone?" The fox simply stared at the girl, who was bravely staring back at him. For a moment, they were caught in this sort of staring contest until Foxy gave up, sighing as he opened his maw.

"Aye… We all hurt someone in the past, lass." He said with a somber tone, shocking the girl. She had heard about the case and some information about it from the news before going to school and even the rumors that went around town, but she really couldn't believe she was hearing it from one of the animatronics themselves. "We… We all were confused and in so much pain that it was unbearable and-" Evan stepped in, realizing that the fox had been a bit too honest in the talk.

"I apologize, but maybe that's enough for now." Evan said as he looked between the two. "Let's end this discussion and get to work." Kat had seemed a bit hesitant to move close to the fox pirate, but something about what he said really softened up her perspective towards Foxy himself. She tried to shake the feeling off, but something told her that she'd be safe around this particular animatronic. She mustered up her strength, ignoring all the warnings her dear grandfather gave her and moved closer to Foxy.

For the next hour or so, Katherine had served as Evan's assistant as she held the light and handed him tools and pieces that he needed to stabilize and connect Foxy's left leg onto his knee joint. It had been around the time the man was nearly done, he had received a call on his cellphone.

Vandana had woken up quite late in comparison to how she normally did, as she was usually the one to open the shop around 8am. Except, today had been a special work day for her and she was quite excited, too. Today was the first day she'd work in Freddy Fazbear's Pizzaplex.

While she knew that it had been a special business venture, from the sounds of what Mr. Nafto had done before the job had plenty of free time to interact with the Rockstar cast. The idea of talking with her idols lit up the woman's eyes and heart as she looked at the clock. It had been into the afternoon when she was finally awake so she thought that now would be the best time to call her boss, Mr. Nafto, and see what time he wanted to head to the pizzaplex today. After a few rings, the phone was picked up and a familiar voice came from it.

"Yello?" Said Evan through the phone.

"Mr. Nafto!" Said Vandana with a bit of waking excitement. "It's good to hear from you. I just wanted to know when you'd like me to arrive at the pizzaplex tonight." The man hummed a bit as he thought.

"Well, I think around 10 would be fine. You've got time to go back to bed if you'd like. I know I would, but I'm not the one staying there tonight." Vandana smiled.

"Maybe I'll take you up on that offer… once I load my laundry into the wash. Anyways, thank you very much and I'll see you at 10!" The call ended quite abruptly, the same with each of their calls. The woman thought a lot about her younger boss, such as how handsome he was and that she was quite attracted to him at first before she knew that she had practically no chance with him.

She wasn't going to discriminate against Chara, as she thought that the puppet was a wonderful woman, but it did sting a bit knowing that a man that she finally had been interested in had walked into her life and chose an animatronic instead of a real woman like herself. It was life and she could accept it, but it did sting. Luckily for her, she met another dashing man that fit her tastes.

There was a man by the name of Michael Afton who worked for the pizzaplex as a night guard that Evan seemed to be decently close with. When she met him, the same spark that she felt with her boss had seemed to light her heart ablaze and she just knew that she wanted to know him more. Of course he also had an animatronic near him, but it didn't seem like they were necessarily dating so it seemed like she had a chance yet.

This excited the woman to no end as she was going to be able to see her favorite animatronic group along with the guy she liked. She knew she had to put on some good make-up at the least just to impress him, but she had no idea what he'd like.

Vandana felt that this experience was going to change her life forever and she couldn't wait for it to be 10pm already.

-SB-

By the time it hit 4pm, Foxy's leg had not only been fully fitted to his body, but it had been properly calibrated. While Evan had been working the entire time, Foxy and Katherine chatted about small things, some that became a bit too personal for the fox, as he had to dance around her questions with vague answers of his own. Foxy finally stood up on his own two legs, shifting around as he checked his body out in the nearby body mirror.

"Ye done a mighty fine job there, lad." Said Foxy as he was checking himself out in the mirror, scratching his bum with his new, shiny hook. "This pirate capt'in here be forever in yer debt." The man nodded with a smile on his face.

"It's good to have you in one piece, Captain. I'd appreciate it if you showed Mangle and Chara your new body. Just don't push yourself too much. I need to do the final touches with you tomorrow morning as long as nothing goes wrong." Foxy gave a thumbs up as he ran past the young girl and up the steps, making lots of joyful and surprised sounds from upstairs. Evan smiled as he started moving towards the stairs before calling back to the girl who had been standing there, not moving.

"You coming?" Evan said to Kat. Unbeknownst to him, the name Mangle set off a loud red flag inside the girl's head as it was the name she remembered the most. It had been a name she heard a lot from her grandfather and he had said that she was the most dangerous. After all, she had done quite a bit of damage before. She hurt a human. Katherine's hands balled up in anger as Evan had called her name, breaking her out of her trance. She looked at him, startled.

"Uh, I'll be right up! Just gotta… grab my bag!" Evan nodded and headed up before she did. Kat looked around as she looked for something. There had to be some way to dismantle these monsters before they could cause anymore harm in the future and that's when she saw it. She saw a key hanging on a wooden post near the back of the basement, seeming to be a way in from outside. The key had to be to the door it was next to and with that, she hatched her plan. Katherine stole the key off of the hook, stuffing it in her pocket before quickly heading back up the stairs with her stuff.

As the young girl made her way up the stairs, she could see the pink fox hugging Foxy as she had been sobbing with the puppet rubbing her back comfortingly. This sight was wonderful for Evan to see as this was something he had been working hard on for the longest time. Foxy had been just as much of a family as the rest of them had been, albeit they had spent less time together with him than they all did with each other.

However, this scene had given Katherine mixed feelings. She realized that these animatronics had basically been alive. There was no other way to explain how they acted with one another, but she still didn't feel very good about them. They were dangerous in her mind and needed to be destroyed immediately. Evan turned to her before clapping his hands together.

"Wait here for a minute." Said Evan. "Let me get you a gift for being a good assistant. I know you came here as a punishment, but instead of kicking up a ruckus you instead helped me finish getting Foxy ready today so I could see my family be happy. I really do appreciate it." He moved off from the baffled Katherine, who expected to be scolded instead or lectured about her previous misdeeds. She felt her phone vibrate in her pocket as she thought about it and pulled it out to check the messages.

As she did so, the key fell out of her pocket and onto the floor. While Foxy and Mangle didn't see it as they were too busy greeting and crying with each other, Chara did see this and recognized the key immediately. The puppet suddenly felt herself get angry as she realized that this girl wanted to break into her family's house, more than likely to break or harm someone, until she realized that this might be exactly what she needed. The puppet stopped herself, freezing up before moving on, pretending she didn't see it.

Katherine immediately grabbed for the key, hoping that no one saw it. Even if they did, she could claim it was her key. It's not like anyone could claim otherwise. She felt calm as she realized that no one said anything about it or was looking her way as Evan came back to her, putting a few $20 bills in her hand. She was baffled once again.

"No, sir, I can't accept this, I didn't do mu-" Evan cut her off immediately.

"You did a great job, Katherine. Perhaps you can come by again and I'll be willing to show you around the place and you can help me with my next project. Of course, not for free." The girl simply shut her mouth, realizing that the man had given this money to her and wasn't going to change his mind any time soon.

"Thank you, Mr. Nafto. I'll keep that in mind. I need to get going, though. That was my mom telling me that dinner will be ready soon and that I should come home, so I'll be on my way." They both walked past the animatronics and to the front door, with Chara following her human close behind.

"I'm glad that you ended up coming over and we worked out our issues. I hope you have a nice night, Kat." She waved back at the man before leaving, walking out the front door with it closing behind her. Evan turned around to see his companion sticking nearby him and hugged her.

"Thank you for bringing him back." Said Chara, who hugged her human back. The technician smiled as he tightened his embrace on her.

"Of course. He's family, too." They hugged each other for a moment longer before Evan opened his mouth again. "What did you think of her?"

"The young girl with a hatred for us?"

"Katherine is her name." Chara thought about telling him about the key incident, but had wanted to deal with this on her own.

"She's okay. There seems to be a lot more going on behind the scenes."

"Well, apparently her father worked with Foxy at some point so she at least recognized him. Said that he was in some sort of accident that caused him to stop working there." This alarmed the puppet as she understood what Evan was trying to say.

"Well, I feel like that won't be the last we see of her." Said Chara, who received a weird look from her human partner.

"What do you mean?" He said in confusion. She simply giggled before pulling on his hand, leading him back towards the kitchen.

"Nothing. Come on, let's get Foxy settled in." They had both made their way back towards the kitchen to the two foxes as Chara's mind wandered onto the young girl from earlier. Obviously she knew more than she led on and perhaps this would be the perfect time to send a message to the overly hostile girl.

She wouldn't kill Katherine, but scaring her to death wasn't off the table.

Later that day, Evan showed up at the pizzaplex as they were prepping to close. The parking lot had been pretty vacant at the time of his arrival with the few people still inside being workers who were cleaning up before their shift ended. Vandana had shot him a text saying that she was already inside, giving him no reason to continue standing out in the chill autumn night air.

As he moved in, the first recognizable person he saw was the young man who was in a relationship with Chica, Trudge. He had been cleaning up a mess as Chica sat at a nearby chair, neither of them taking their job very seriously. Not that they had to as the nearby areas seemed to be quite well cleaned up and tidied.

Chica saw Evan first out of the two and sent a wave in his direction. The technician moved up to the couple, as Chica got up excitedly.

"Hi, Evan!" Chica said in delight. "Did Mangle come with you?" He shook his head.

"No, not this time, Chica." Said Evan, which put a damper on her excitement momentarily. "I'm only here to make sure that my worker is settled in for the job tonight. You remember Vandana, right?" She perked up again at the mention of someone she remembered.

"Yeah! We call her Vanny, though. It just rolls off the tongue easier." Trudge nodded, agreeing with his bird companion.

"Have you two seen her?" Trudge pointed towards Rockstar Row.

"She's with Mike and Roxy." Trudge said as Chica remembered something.

"Ooh! They said they were going to do something fun when you got here, so let's all go!" Trudge nodded in agreement with Chica and Evan saw no reason to turn them down so they all moved towards Rockstar Row as a group, hoping to find the night guard and female technician quickly.

-SB-

"We should play Tag!" Argued Monty, who was standing in front of Freddy. "It'sa lot healthier ta run around n' I need ta lose some weight." He smacked his belly in an attempt to prove his point.

"No, I know how well physical activities go around you and Roxanne." The bear argued back. "Someone will end up getting hurt. Also, you're not even fat!" Freddy pointed hysterically at the gator's stomach.

Vandana had been sitting next to Michael on the couch as Freddy and Monty continued to argue about the game that they all planned on playing. She had been sorta confused since it had been happening since before she arrived, so she leaned over to whisper to Mike.

"Hey, uhm…" Vanny whispered, getting Mike's and Roxy's attention. "What exactly are they fighting about?"

"Well, they have tomorrow off so we can all decorate and prepare for Halloween a bit early." The night guard explained. "So tonight, we all suggested that the group should play a game together and they're both stuck between which is the better idea: Hide and Seek or Tag."

"I hope Tag so I can chase this bozo all over the place." Said Roxanne with a toothy grin, giving Michael a small shudder when he remembered the last chase he had with the wolf.

"I hope for Hide and Seek, personally. She's terrible at that kind of game but I'm bound to beat her either way." This made Roxanne perk up to the provocation.

"Oh yeah? Says the idiot who got caught last time."

"I only let you catch me because I didn't want you to be sad."

"I'll wipe that smug look off your face, creep."

"I apologize. I suppose there's no room for my ego when yours takes up the entire room."

The banter continued as the two got closer to each other, making Vandana feel like a third wheel. The arguing and competitive noise in the green room was loud until the door opened, allowing Evan, Chica and Trudge to enter Freddy's room.

"Evan, it's good ta see ya!" Said Monty, who pushed aside Freddy a bit to throw an arm around the technician's shoulders. "Say, we'd like ta hear your input since we can't seem ta agree on anythin'." The gator explained the situation to the man as they all got comfy in the room.

"I'm hopin' for Tag n' good old Freddy here wants ta play Hide and Go Seek. So, pal, which do ya think we should be playin'?" The room stared at the man as he looked around and cleared his throat before speaking.

"Well, what does everyone else want to play?" Chica was the first to pipe up on her opinion.

"Trudge and I don't care either way. We'd like to play both, if possible." Trudge nodded in agreement.

"Is there a way we can play both?" Asked Mike, who wasn't sure about it.

"I'll beat you in either one, corpse, so it doesn't matter which one we pick." Said Roxanne, who still wasn't over the provocation from earlier, earning a soft facepalm and eye roll from Mike and a giggle from Vanny.

"Well… I suppose there is a game like that." Says Vandana, getting the entire room's attention. "We call it 'Hide and Go Seek Tag'. Basically, you just hide and, if the person who is 'it' finds you, you're supposed to run from them. If you get tagged, you can either sit out or join the person on their hunt." There were light murmurs of approval from everyone in the room, making this seem like the optimal choice.

"All in favor of this option, raise your hand." Commanded Freddy, who proceeded to watch everyone's hand shoot up into the air. "Well, that will be the game of the night. Once our night guard is finished helping out our technicians, we will send out a text and meet up back here to play." A collective amount of excited talking started to happen as everyone started discussing their plans for the game.

"Hey, Mike, Vandana, Roxy." Greeted Evan, who moved over to the group on the couch. "Sounds like you guys have a fun night ahead of you."

"Are you not going to stay for the fun?" Asked Vandana, who looked a bit disappointed. The man thought for a second before answering.

"I can stay for one game, maybe, but I told the girls I'd be home a bit after midnight. Foxy finally got his body back and we're going to have a nice dinner to celebrate. Maybe crack open some alcohol as well." This information was jarring to Michael, who swore that Foxy's soul was burnt out of his exoskeleton in Fazbear's Fright. He opened his mouth to question this but was cut off by his furry partner.

"Who is Foxy?" Asked Roxanne. She knew she had heard the name from somewhere, but she couldn't remember where.

"He's a red fox who's theme is a pirate captain." Explained Evan. "You technically take his place in the group in the same way as Monty took Bonnie's spot." Roxanne then had an epiphany, remembering where exactly she heard these names.

"They were animatronics that worked at a previous location, right?" She drew her attention to Michael who nodded to her.

"Yeah but let's… not talk about this here." Said the night guard, who didn't want Roxanne running her mouth about the few secrets that he told her. "Why don't we get going? The faster we complete the few tasks on the board, the quicker we get to the game." They all agreed to this logic and, as a group, headed out to the closest spot possible. Evan ran over the list of things needing replacement this time and was delighted to see that none of them were anywhere near the Daycare.

He then imagined what would happen if he invited Sun/Moon to play the game with them. He shuddered at the thought, imagining Moon's red eyes peering down at him from somewhere as he attempted to hide.

Maybe he'd try, but he could deal without more nightmare fuel.

Around the time that Evan had left for the pizzaplex, Katherine made her way around the house and over the fence of the technician's home with a metal bat in hand and a bag full of stuff on her back. She heard him discussing it with someone earlier that day and knew that this would be the best time to strike. She'd get rid of these robots even if she had to break the law.

As she spotted the back door, she pulled the key out of her pocket and quickly made her way inside. As she closed the door behind her, she realized how deathly quiet the house had been. She looked around the basement workshop carefully as she tip-toed around, her bat in the air behind her, ready to hit the first moving thing she saw. She continued to make her way across the room as something shuffled near the door unbeknownst to the teen.

Chara crept out from behind Katherine, silently floating behind her before locking the door with a loud, metal 'clunk!' before teleporting out from the room to get ready for the next stage of her personal haunted house.

It had been a while since she properly stalked someone she considered a victim and, while she was in shame about how she felt about it, she was ecstatic. Chara knew very well that this girl posed little to no real threat to any of the animatronics in their home, but it was the premise behind pulling such an act that made the puppet seethe in rage. She wasn't going to hurt the girl, oh no, she would make sure to take extra care of her.

This girl was going to experience why no one should ever dare to mess with her family and Chara had queued up the full package just for her.

Katherine heard the door lock behind her and she quickly spun around only to find nothing there behind her. She moved over to the door and inspected it, seeing that the door was locked. She grabbed the large, flat lock handle and attempted to turn it only for it to not budge an inch. She tried at it again even harder, but the lock wouldn't turn whatsoever. It was as if there was some force holding the lock tightly in its position.

She sighed and turned back around, realizing that her only way out now would be upstairs. She moved slowly towards the stairs and started moving up them. The entire house had been dark, save a few decor lights coming from jack-o-lanterns scattered across the house. This family really went all out for Halloween, huh? Thought Katherine as she moved into the kitchen and looked down the hallway. The hallway, too, was nearly dark other than a light coming from the closest room to the left. It sent warning signs in her head so she attempted the front door.

As she quietly moved to the front door, she heard some sort of weird singing as if someone was trying to mimic a bass guitar vocally. This fueled her to move faster to the door and, as she tried it and realized it was locked like the other one was, heard movement in the corner of the room.

The puppet had started to rise out of a black and orange box, standing much taller than Katherine herself. She had ribbons coming out of all parts of her body, along with some wires. Her heart started to pound and her grip tightened on the bat. The puppet turned to face the teen, wearing a large and concerning smile that reached from one side of the mask to the other. Her mask had a crack in it, making the lights in one of her eyes not have power but the other eye had a white, bright pinprick of light that felt as if it was staring directly into her soul.

"HeLLo, p-p-pRECIous-s-s g-girL!" Stuttered out the marionette, sounding like her voice recordings had broken and the octaves of her voice dipped down from time to time, causing an unsettling resonance between her higher and lower pitched voices speaking at the same time. "G-goING so s-s-sooNNN?" She started moving towards Katherine, slowly, hovering in the air and letting the mess of fabric and wires drag to the floor as she moved.

The teen almost screamed as she swung her bat with her eyes closed, feeling it hit something solid. She opened her eyes and was immediately thrown into surprise by what she saw. The puppet had caught the bat with her hand with her long, spindly fingers wrapped around the bat before pulling it away from Katherine.

"W-w-whAt's WROng-g, h-honEY?" The puppet dropped the bat next to herself before turning her head around to the point it was upside down. "Don't YOu w-want ṫ̴̟o̴̖͌͗ͅ ̵̖̮́p̴͎͇͊l̸͉͍̓͆á̵͚͝y̷̯̬̌?̴̬͇̔͗ " Katherine set off in a mad sprint, barreling down the hallway and into the first door on the right, slamming the door closed behind her. Her breathing was heavy as she started to panic a bit, thinking about that thing that had been out there pursuing her. She could hear its broken voice calling for her, hearing movement not too far outside of the door. It was only then she realized she wasn't alone.

In the room, there was a desk with a few orange lights sitting on it and, in the middle, had been the head of Foxy. His one uncovered eye had glowed orange as it sung out this tune, sounding like the one she heard earlier. Katherine didn't want that thing outside the room to come check here so she moved towards the head, seeing if she could get it to shut up. When she got close, it stopped and chuckled deeply.

"Ay, lass." Said the disembodied Foxy head. "Ya chose the wrong crew to mess wit' n' now yer gonna pay the price." A banging noise came from the closet nearby, the door shaking as it continued to pound. Katherine had now been stuck with the choice of either leaving and chancing a run-in with that puppet-like creature or staying here and facing whatever was in the closet. Unfortunately, she didn't get a chance to choose as Foxy's body broke through the closet door, stumbling out and starting to shamble to the young girl with both hand and hook extended out in zombie-like fashion.

Katherine screamed as she duck under the pirate's arms, which had grabbed at her when she came close, and she dashed out of the room and into the room across from her as the door was left cracked open. She slammed the door shut and slid down to her butt with her back against the door, wondering how she got herself into this mess. A small voice in the room caught her attention, putting her on guard.

"Oh, a visitor!" Said the pink fox with a white lab coat on. "Come on in, it's quite safe here." The girl had stared at the pink fox as she made her way over and offered her hand, the girl hesitantly taking it, not wanting to offend the pink fox and too shook up to think properly. They moved over to a small table that sat in the middle of the semi-dark room with candles positioned everywhere.

"Oh, you must be starving, my dear." Said the fox as she sat the girl in a chair which had a silver platter with a domed cover in front of her, accompanied by neatly placed silverware on the sides. The animatronic sat down next to her as she seemed excited with her own domed platter in front of her. "Well, let us dig in! We don't want our food to get cold, do we now?" It had been when the pink fox removed her dome that Katherine caught what exactly was wrong here.

Under the dome lay a medium mass of meat that was hard to recognize at first with the red juice dripping from it until she took a closer look. It had been a human heart, still freshly dripping blood. The fox picked up the heart and took a bite from it, squirting red juice onto her hands and face, giving her quite the scary complexion. She looked towards the teen with a large, bloody smile, showing off her sharp rows of bloody teeth.

"What's wrong, dear? You haven't even touched your food?" The pink fox grabbed at the dome before revealing the food that had been laid in front of the young girl. It had been a human head, its eyes rolled back into its head and mouth opened up with a silent scream. Katherine pushed back out of her chair knocking the head down into her lap, fell out of the chair, and screamed at the top of her lungs. The pink fox frowned at Katherine as she got up, the young girl scooting herself back towards the door as she was followed.

"Oh no. Look at the mess you've made of the fine food I made you!" Growled the pink fox as she menacingly got closer. "Perhaps I should be eating you instead!" The girl had run out of the room and down the hallway, hearing a voice chasing behind her. "You won' get away from me this time, lass!"

She made it to the door at the end of the hall, closing the door and locking it as metallic hands scraped at the other side of the door. Katherine was at wits end, locked inside a house full of murderous animatronics and no way to escape. She attempted to calm herself down as she realized she saw a familiar ribbon of fabric hanging next to her and she slowly looked up at the roof in horror.

The puppet-like creature was hanging from the roof, observing her from above. It slowly lowered itself onto the bed in front of her as the screams and banging on the door she leaned up against got louder and more aggressive, becoming wails of the damned. Any composure Katherine had left flew straight out of the window as she balled herself up at the door and began to cry for forgiveness.

"P-please! Don't hurt me! I'm so-orry!" She cried out between frantic sobs. She covered her head with her arms and continued to sob and beg for mercy, feeling that she really fucked up this time and was going to die for it. A moment later, she heard a snicker before a full on laugh happened. The teen lifted up her head to a completely different sight that she thought she'd see.

Chara had been back to her normal form, staring down Katherine with the back of her hand over her mouth. She was shaking a bit, from what the teen thought might've been anger, but had eventually been realized as a suppressed laugh. The puppet had looked like she normally did, minus the cracked mask.

"Ooh, that was refreshing!" Cried Chara, who stretched out a bit with a smile. "You should've seen your face, it was absolutely priceless!" This shocked the teen into silence, tears still running down her face. The puppet wasn't just laughing, she was laughing at her. The young girl straightened herself up, an angry look donned upon her face, which wasn't very convincing with tears still running out of her eyes and her face puffy and red.

"It's not funny!" Whined Katherine, who got the attention of the laughing Chara. The puppet simply swiped away the complaint and looked down at her.

"It is extremely funny. You know, normally we'd terrify the daylights out of whoever trespasses into our home, maybe roughen them up a bit if they're extra aggressive, before tying them up and leaving them in the basement where they're doomed to listen to Foxy's awful singing until the cops show up."

"Hey!" Said a muffled, ragged pirate accent from the other side of the door. "There be nothin' wrong wit' me singin'." Katherine realized that it was Foxy on the other side of the door and they were no longer pounding on the door. She looked back towards the puppet, questioning the lack of their aggression.

"So… you're not going to hurt me?" Katherine asked, making Chara roll her eyes.

"Oh, please." Said the puppet with a sarcastic, bored tone. "If we were going to, you would've been hurt the moment you allowed me to keep those doors locked on you. This isn't the pizzeria from all those years ago, we don't hurt people anymore."

"You'll be fine." Said a feminine voice from the other side of the door. "We're just a bit upset that you broke into our house." Chara nodded, agreeing with her sister's muffled words.

"Now, let's go out into the living room and just talk this out. If you explain yourself well enough, I'll make sure to not call the authorities." Katherine's jaw dropped.

"You can call the police?" Said the teen louder than she had hoped to, the surprise getting to her. "Isn't the whole 'living animatronics' thing supposed to be a secret?" Chara just chuckled at the girl in response.

"If it was, do you think Evan would've allowed you to help fix Foxy? The era we live in, creations like us aren't hard to find… well, minus the whole 'living' and 'having souls' inside of us, but it's not like we just scream it out loud." This made sense to the young girl, who realized how dumb it sounded as soon as it came out of her mouth. "We've been living here for right under 10 years as well so we know just about everyone in this small city." The puppet stood up, stretching her limbs a bit before continuing on.

"I'll meet you out in the living room when you're ready and don't even try to run. We can leave the house, too." On that frightening note, the space where Chara had been standing blurred and shifted as she warped out of the room. She heard heavy footsteps leaving the door clear as well but heard a voice call to her.

"I apologize for my sister." Said Mangle muffled through the door. "She is very strict about the treatment of the people she loves so when she saw you steal the key earlier, it angered her a lot. I hope you learned your lesson, though." Finally, she heard the last set of heavy footsteps move away, leaving the young girl to her devices.

Frankly, everything in Katherine's body is screaming, telling her to run away as fast as possible, but the last thing she wanted to see was that form the puppet took before chasing her in the dark of night, calling out her name the way she had before. She felt shivers run down her spine as she remembered how creepy she was, hanging from the roof and staring down at her. Though, this gave some opportunities. If they really wouldn't hurt her and they were the same animatronics that worked with her grandfather, then maybe, just maybe, she could get some of her questions answered.

She finalized her thoughts and proceeded to take a deep breath to steel her resolve before opening the door and making her way out of the bedroom.

In order to start their game of Hide and Go Seek Tag, or HGST for short, they decided to all be given watches, at least those who didn't have Faz-Watches to begin with, and pull straws from the cup to see who was 'it'. At the end of the draw, it was deemed that Vandana was 'it' and, on that note, everyone went into hiding as the woman began to count.

Everyone had some idea where to hide except Evan, who was quickly making his way away from Vandana to figure out a good place to hide. For some reason, Trudge and Chica sat next to Vandana, probably to get immediately converted and tag others. After a while of looking around the pizzaplex, Evan found himself near the Daycare once again, eyeing to see if the lights were on or not. Once he saw that the lights were on, he headed in.

Immediately upon entering, the sunny clown robot had heard the doors to the Daycare opening and Evan came into sight. It had been strange that anyone came to visit him during the nighttime, but he enjoyed company all the same. Sun quickly moved over to the man with an excited look on his face.

"Alan!" Cried Sun as he shook the man's hand.

"Uh… Alan? My name is Evan." Said the technician, confused and slightly regretting coming in here in the first place.

"Yes, yes, Evan! It's wonderful to see you here again! I don't get many visitor here at this time of night, o-or any at all for that matter, but I'm sure I can give you some hospitality if you just-"

"Whoa whoa, Sun. Calm down there. I just needed a place to hide for the game we're playing." Sun perked up at the mention of 'game'.

"Games? I love games! When do we start? What game are we playing? We should get some friends to-"

"Wait, Sun… We're already playing a game." Sun stopped and looked at the technician weirdly.

"Oh, silly. There's no way someone would play games without me, right? I-i'm the life of the party!" Seeing this sorta made Evan feel bad for the guy before he got an idea.

"Well, let me ask you first… Can you leave the daycare area?" Sun started to hesitate at the question, unsure of himself.

"Uhm, well technically we're not supposed to leave during the day, but there's nothing against it during the nighttime but it's just… this place is more comfortable. It's stressful for Moon and I if we go into places that change the amount of lighting there is often." Evan nodded, understanding.

"Well, tell ya what. We can hide together, okay? Let me just ask Freddy really quickly…" Sun lit up like a light bulb, bouncing around the man as he navigated his watch.

"Oh thank you, Erin!" Squealed the Sun as he hugged the man's leg. "I will be the best game partner you could ask for!" Evan sighed as he heard the bright clown misname him again, but he said nothing as he messaged Freddy.

Evan: Freddy.

Freddy: What can I do for you, Evan? Did you get caught already?

Evan: No, but Sun happened to want to join the game, so I was wondering if it was alright with you and the others.

Freddy: While I have my own opinions about Moon, Sun himself is a good guy, though a bit over energetic. As long as they don't wreck havoc like his moon counterpart did before, I will allow it.

Evan: Okay, I'll keep an eye on them. Thanks.

Evan looked back down to the Sun who was still rambling on endlessly with a new purpose. He crouched down to get eye level with the sun-faced animatronic before speaking.

"Okay, so I was told that you can play as long as you and Moon promise to not cause any trouble or break anything again." Said the technician to Sun like he was lecturing a child. "On top of that, you need to stick with me and stay quiet if you don't want to get caught too quickly, okay?" Sun saluted the man, standing up straight.

"Sir, yes, sir! Also, Moon promised not to do anything he's not supposed to as long as no one hits him over the head with a generator again." Mike snickered at the mental image of Michael letting the generator down on Moon's head the time before, turning the moon-faced animatronic into a whiny baby.

"Don't worry, I don't think most want to even get near Moon." They had started to chat a bit, thinking up some game plans as they heard a small 'ding-dong' come from the doorway nearby. It had been Trudge and Chica, who seemed to be 'it' already. The bird pointed at Evan.

"We found him! Freddy wasn't lying after all!" Said Chica as Evan cursed that sparkly bear for selling them out. Sun waved towards the couple.

"Sun, we gotta go. They're 'it' and we can't be caught by them." Evan started running towards the opposite door as Sun was hobbling quickly behind him.

"Oh-ho-ho, this is gonna be so much fun!" Cried Sun loudly as the couple chased them. While they were a ways away, the door still needed to be unlocked to get through. Evan grabbed the smaller sun animatronic and looked at him.

"I'm gonna throw you, get ready and unlock that door." Commanded Evan as he started getting ready to throw Sun.

"Wait, but I don't know how to flyyyy-" Sun was cut off by being suddenly thrown quite hard at the door operations panel, hitting the button on impact and unlocking the door. Evan scooped up Sun and ran through the door, closing it behind him just in time to hear them beat on the door. Unfortunately, the door has a slow locking and unlocking feature so by the time they unlock and open the door, Evan would be long gone.

"Okay, now it's time to look for a new hiding spot." Thought Evan out loud, eliciting a response from Sun.

"Ooh! I know where! Let's go to DJ's room! It would be hard for anyone to follow us in the tunnels!" The technician liked this idea and nodded as they kept moving.

"Sounds great, anything I should watch out for on the way there?" Sun thought about it.

"Well, DJ maybe but he's a kind guy. Just sorta big." Frankly Evan only briefly met DJ the first time he came here and while he did seem harmless, he also seemed to be someone who would be honest and innocent enough to sell them out.

Hopefully they'd be able to sneak in and stay there for a while. Evan wasn't sure exactly how he'd win, but now that he was competing for real, he had to win. Of course, he wasn't the only person who had this idea.

Michael had known this place probably better than any other human alive. Well, if you could still consider him human. Behind him had been Roxanne who, while she was good at sneaking, preferred complaining loudly to her human companion.

"Why are you so slow, Corpse?" She whined, huffing as they maneuvered their way around wires and supports. "It's not like they can't find us from here, you know."

"Just hang on, we're almost there." Said Michael, causing the wolf to huff once again, her arms being crossed.

"I'll bite you if we get caught easily." They arrived high up in a place that Roxanne realized she recognized. They came out of the maintenance door and directly into Roxy Raceway and Michael smiled at her.

"Think two people could fit on one of these things?" Asked the night guard as he pointed at one of the go-karts nearby. She smiled, realizing that this idea was better than she thought it would be.

"I guess we'll have to find out." Roxy said with a smirk, both of them heading over to the vehicle. They stopped in front of it as an obvious question came to mind. How were they going to sit on a singular one properly? The thought of Mike sitting in Roxanne's lap or between her legs made the wolf blush a bit, shaking her head as she refused to make this happen. Michael looked at her weirdly, thinking of the same thing.

"Look, I know it's embarrassing but-" Said Michael, before getting cut off.

"No! Fuck you!" Cried Roxanne, looking at him with a mad blush on her face. "I refuse!"

"Roxanne, we need to-" On the other side of the room, doors slammed open as both Monty and Freddy had appeared through the entrance, spotting the pairing next the go-kart. On text, you're supposed to say who got caught and these two had been found arguing with each other in a bathroom, making them easy targets for Vandana to get. They were heading this way, running both Mike and Roxy out of time. She looked back at him and to the two pursuers before sighing heavily. She got onto the go-kart, leaving enough room for Mike to sit on the seat between her thighs. She patted the seat furiously.

"Hurry up, dumbass! I'm not going to get caught because you're slow!" She yelled at Mike, who slightly hesitated, feeling the situation being weird. She looked back and saw Monty and Freddy closing on them and she grabbed his arm, pulling him to her. "Look, I understand this is embarrassing, but get over it! It's not like anyone would be attracted to a corpse anyways." He attempted to right himself up into the seat as she started the kart and pressed the gas pedal, speeding them onto the raceway and away from the pursuers.

Mike was struggling to stay on the seat as Roxanne swerved onto the raceway and out of the way of obstacles. He grabbed onto her furry thighs and attempted to press himself back into her to not fall off, causing the wolf to blush and close her legs, squishing the poor night guard. Mike felt like a used tube of toothpaste being squeezed for its last bit of contents and he had a feeling that if she squeezed him any harder, his contents were going to end up all over the place.

"L-let go of me!" Cried the night guard in pain before getting released from Roxanne's deadly thigh grip.

"Then hold still, Freak!" She yelled as she finally got the hang of the driving, now smoothly clearing obstacles with ease.

At that moment, Roxanne started to have fun. The thrill of the chase paired with spending time with her night guard in her favorite place, she started to smile and laughed. Mike looked up at her large smile and, despite the uncomfortness he had been feeling before, he realized that he, too, was having fun. They both smiled as they started going downhill from that point, the adrenaline rushing through their veins and the joyride continued.

Michael had felt a strange happiness fill his chest as they continued on down the slope. He knew that if they were to crash, it would end in disaster but, for some reason, he couldn't help but smile and have fun. These feelings truly were foreign to the man who had no real childhood and realized that he had been missing out on so many fun things. Maybe spending time with Roxanne and doing wild things was the peak of his fun and, frankly, he was okay with that.

As they finished the lap on the raceway, they made it back down to the bottom, passing both Freddy and Monty, who had sat down and given up on the chase, before stopping the car and heading through the door out of Roxy Raceway. Both of them were panting and had large smiles on their faces as Roxanne and Mike high fived out of nowhere, feeling the excitement still running through their veins.

"That was amazing!" Yelled Roxanne as they continued to speed walk away from the two pursuers. Michael nodded, wiping the sweat from his brow.

"I want to do that again sometime." Said Mike, which made Roxanny happy again at the thought of riding together with her friend until she realized how exactly they were riding together. The blush that had been on her face before came back with a vengeance, turning the fox's face a bit red.

"Wait, you mean… together?" Said Roxanne hesitantly. The thought of them riding the same kart was embarrassing but… she wasn't opposed to it. Michael looked at her weirdly for a moment, not understanding what she was asking about.

"Uh, yeah, I guess so. I have never ridden one before so maybe you can show me how next time." Roxanne regained her composure and puffed out her chest in pride.

"Well, since it is my attraction and you are my night guard, I suppose I can show my poor newbie the ropes." Michael simply shook his head, chuckling as he did so.

"I'd be glad to, as long as you don't bite me because I'm bad at it." Roxanne smiled at him after he said that, making him move away from her a bit. She moved towards him with a dangerous look on her face, making Michael run for safety.

"What's wrong, Mikey~?" Roxanne taunted out towards the fleeing night guard. "Come back~. I just want a taste!"

That night, Michael barely escaped another bite mark on his body, but he didn't regret the fun he had with Roxanne as it had been one of the most fun moments he ever had.

Back in the Nafto household, Katherine had been sitting in a recliner next to the couch, which had Foxy and Mangle sitting on it, watching the puppet pass out freshly made mugs of hot cocoa. The teen took hers with a silent thanks and blew on it, knowing very well the beverage was too hot for consumption just yet. As Chara finished handing out the mugs, she blew on hers briefly before taking a sip, wincing at how hot it was, before setting it down and looking at everyone in the room.

"I'm glad we're all here and seated." Said Chara as she proceeded to sit on the floor on the other side of the coffee table. "Soooo… Why do you tell us about yourself, hm?" She pointedly looked at the young girl, who looked like a deer caught in a car's bright lights. Katherine gulped before putting down her own drink and clearing her throat while everyone's attention was on her.

"Uhm… I'm Katherine Beal as some of you may know." They all nodded, knowing her name. "I won't lie, I don't like any of you."

"That's okay, I can live with that." Mangle said, waving it away as if it didn't bother her. "What I would like to know is why you decided to steal keys from the house and invade in the middle of the night?" Katherine fidgeted around before Foxy patted the seat arm next to her.

"Don' worry, lass. We're not gunna hurt ye." Foxy assured. "We just wanna know why ye be in our home tryna attack us like we're some sea varmints." The teen took a deep breath before speaking.

"Well… a long time ago, before my mother was even born, my grandfather had worked for a Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria. He loved that place and said it was his favorite place in the world, even with how glitchy some of the animatronics could be. Atleast, before he had an accident there." This sent chills up the animatronics bodies, realizing that she could be talking about the place they were entertaining. "I had asked him a long time ago about it and so he told me the story of how that place became a nightmare for him."

As Katherine proceeded to tell the story in great detail, she remembered the scene as if it had happened just yesterday.

After her grandfather made her keep a secret about what he was going to show her, the man grabbed at his mask and gingerly started to remove it. The sight that she thought she could handle was suddenly a bit much for her as she realized her grandfather's face had been disfigured, missing parts that would normally be there.

A part of his forehead had been caved in and his eye, along with the socket, was missing completely. His cheekbone had seemed to be the most prominent feature of his face with only a small, scarred layer of tissue covering it. The entire part of her grandfather's face from his hairline to right below his cheekbone had been covered in this nasty looking scar tissue, giving off a look like his face was shriveling up.

The sight shocked Katherine into silence as she could only keep her mouth open in awe and shock as to what she had seen underneath the mask and the only thing that could come to her mind was: Why? She steeled her resolve as she opened her mouth to ask her question.

"Grampy, why does your face look like that?" She asked with an innocent tone. The older man sighed as he started retelling his tale.

"Well, as I told you before, I used to work for Freddy Fazbear's pizzeria where we served pizza to children and worked with animatronics. One day, after I was put back onto the morning shift, I was required to watch Mangle, which was this mass of animatronic parts where kids could take her apart and put her back together. She had been acting a bit funnier than usual, but I assumed it had been from all the tampering children did to her and that was about it. As some kids had moved up to play, it happened." Silence came again as the younger Katherine scooted closer to her grandfather, enthralled with the story.

"What happened next?"

"Well, I don't remember a whole lot other than she bit me. She took a part of my head and my face, leaving me with this ugly scar and made me realize one thing that I didn't understand on the night shift." He turned to her with eyes of fear, shaking a bit. "Those animatronics, they were alive, Katherine. They hunted me down the nights before and, because they couldn't finish me off, tried again in daylight when I had my guard down." Eyes had been flowing from his good eye and down his cheek, his body shaking harder than it did. The younger girl had no idea what was going on but realized something was wrong. She gripped onto her grandfather's shirt sleeve and looked at him in worry.

"Grandpa?" Said Katherine, worry evident in her voice. The man bowed his head and stayed silent for a moment, calming himself down as he held the girl's tiny hand. His head raised back up as he wiped the tears from his eye, now more calm than he had been before.

"Sorry, sweetheart. I just… had something in my eye." She had never seen her grandfather act like this ever. She could call him many things like smart, brave, loud, crazy, funny, and never could she say that he was weak. Her grandfather was the strongest man she knew and never had she seen her role model shaking in fear before. The girl moved over to her grandfather and hugged him tightly, wanting to comfort him the same way he comforted her.

The old man strained out a smile as he took her in his embrace, holding the small child in his arms. They soon parted and her grandfather put his hands on her shoulders.

"I don't know whether they are still around, but if you ever see an animatronic, run. They are not safe and they could be alive." Katherine looked up at her grandfather in question.

"But how do I keep them away?" She asked, making her grandfather get an idea.

"Well, I suppose I can learn ya somethin'." And with that, Katherine spent a good portion of her childhood learning about animatronics and things behind the whole story of Freddy Fazbear's with her obsessed grandfather. She had even received a high power taser from him, one with enough kick that leaving it in their body long enough would fry anything with servos. He had been a great grandfather and he taught her everything she knew.

As Katherine finished explaining, all the animatronics were deathly silent making the young girl think that she said something wrong.

"I-I'm sorry if I offended you guys in any way." She said, attempting to patch up any hard feelings before they attacked her. Chara shook her head.

"It's not you. You did nothing wrong, per se but… we… well, we don't remember most of the people we've killed. It's not intentional, but back then we struggled to be conscious past the blinding amount of rage that suppressed our souls back then." Mangle looked the worst out of everyone there, realizing who exactly the young girl was talking about and vaguely remembered the scene as it played out in her head. It had been horrible as she was actively reliving the scene over and over in her own head like a movie was playing inside her eyes.

Why did I do it? Mangle thought as an endless stream of thoughts flew through her head, the next one worse than the last. I hurt a man. I killed many people who weren't as lucky as him. I'm a murderer and I have blood on my hands. She caught her reflection on the TV screen, seeing the blood stains on her maw and she gripped her head, feeling the pain coming along. I'm just like him. I killed many people. I'm just like Wil- Purple fogged up her vision and she screamed, unable to hear her own voice.

The others were suddenly alerted out of their own trains of thought by Mangle's scream, seeing her eyes become a solid purple while she held her head in pain. Foxy reached for the pink fox, only to get his hand battered away. Chara sprung forward, latching onto her sister and spoke words into her ear as she suppressed the blindly aggressive pink fox.

"Mangle, come back to us. I don't know what's going on, but please come back. It's not your fault, I promise, it's not your fault." As Chara continued to tell her reassurances, eventually Mangle did come back to her senses, her eyes losing their purple glow. She fell limply on the couch, taking deep, haggard breaths into her body. She looked around, looking a bit unwell and immediately got up.

"I… I apologize." Mangle said before pushing her way past Chara and Foxy, running into her room and shutting the door. Chara sighed heavily, feeling the stress of what had taken over her human's mind now taking over her sister's. Katherine had sat at the sideline, watching it all play out and was heavily confused on what happened.

"What… what the hell was that?" Asked Katherine, decently scared for her life. Foxy looked at Chara, who nodded, before getting up and heading back towards Mangle's room.

"Well, we went through a lot." Explained Chara. "Out of all of us that are left from that time, Mangle had it the hardest. Foxy and I had a bit of control over our bodies but were still blinded by our rage and were around a lot longer to come to terms, but Mangle had come in from a new batch of animatronics that were supposed to replace the originals. Whoever put her together made her easily reconfigurable, making it to where children could rip her apart and put her back together again. I'm sure you could understand how much pain someone would feel going through that on a daily basis."

"But… you guys are literal robots. How can you feel anything?" Chara looked at the young girl silently for a moment.

"Okay, I'll be straightforward with you, then." Said Chara, sighing heavily. "I'm sure you've seen the stories on TV about how children died in Freddy Fazbear's, correct?" The girl nodded a bit, not understanding where this might be going. "We only are alive in the way we are because our souls inherited the robotic bodies of the children entertainers we grew up with." This hit Katherine in the face as she remembered how much her grandfather would rant on about them being alive but she couldn't believe it even after hearing it from the source.

"No," She denied, shaking her head and crossing her arms. "You guys can't be alive. I mean, that's crazy. You're telling me you all died and just… obtained new bodies?"

"Well, if that's how you want to see it. For us, it was more of a… prison where we struggled to understand anything and were in constant pain. We wanted our revenge and we knew our killer was a night guard, but we couldn't tell which one. So… we decided to kill them all." Katherine's mouth dropped, realizing that this was absurd but the more she thought about it, the more it made sense.

"I… Who were you, then? Do you know?" Chara nodded her head with a grim look.

"I was the daughter of a Co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment. I got stuck outside in the rain as a security puppet came to get me, it shorted out as I died and viola. Here I am." The young girl's mind was racing, her thoughts still trying to reject the idea of this.

"And Foxy?!"

"He… was brutally murdered by the other co-founder of Fazbear Entertainment and stuffed inside the suit. I'm sure you could've heard that part on TV if you really wanted." The facts had lined up and Katherine's mouth opened once more.

"I never heard about Mangle, though. W-who is she?" Chara had stayed silent for a moment before responding to the young girl.

"We… don't know. Foxy and I were lucky, if you want to call it that, to keep most of our memories intact or perhaps regain them over time. Mangle had no idea who she was and since she had her personality and mind suppressed behind the pain for so long, we don't think she ever will. Frankly, this is a part of why this was so hard for her to get past the fact that she did kill people because she was very barely conscious at the most, her body following program that man stuffed inside of us."

Katherine was silent as she was absolutely stunned and speechless over the things she found out tonight. Her mind had been racing about all the incidents she researched before with her grandfather and realizing that so much started fitting into place, a knot growing in her stomach. The thought of children being murdered and desecrated by someone who was supposed to be entertaining the children made the bile in her throat rise, making her feel sick. No matter what she thought about, she just didn't understand why this happened and why it happened to her grandfather specifically.

"I'm curious…" Said Chara, breaking the young girl out of her thoughts. "Is your grandfather still alive?" Katherine hung her head somberly, shaking it as she looked down.

"No, he-... he recently passed away due to brain complications. The doctors said they were surprised he lived as long as he did." Chara came over to the girl and patted her back, the girl receiving it willingly.

"I'm sorry. I wish I could remember who he was, but very few names actually meant anything to us. I can say one thing about him for certain. Since he survived long enough to get switched to the morning shift, he must've been a brave and smart man. Not just anyone could survive." The young girl nodded as tears came to her eyes. She sniffled, wiping the tears from her eyes. Nearby, the grandfather clock that stood in the corner of the living room rang out, signaling it was 12am already. Katherine realized she needed to be home soon or she was going to get in trouble. She got up and grabbed her stuff, looking towards the puppet, who held her hand out.

"I would love to let you go home, but I believe you still have something of ours." Said Chara to an embarrassed Katherine who pulled a key out of her pocket and dropped it into the puppet's hand. "Do you want me to walk you home?" The young girl shook her head.

"I think I've had enough nightmare fuel for one day and the neighborhood is plenty safe." Chara chuckled at the comment as she opened the door for the human girl.

"Come back soon and… I'm sorry about your grandfather."

"It's… not your fault. I hope Mangle feels better soon." With that, the girl made her way out of the house, moving quickly across the yard and out of sight. Chara hoped that the kid would be able to get home safe and, eventually, forgive them for the wrongs they did in their life. She couldn't expect anyone who lost a family member or loved one in their blind rage to forgive them as she understood what it meant to see the person you love in pain. She accepted that she had been a monster in the past and wanted to move on, become better for those around her.

All that Chara could hope for is that Mangle would feel the same way.

As Katherine walked home, she pulled a rusted metal badge out of her pocket, like the one Michael had as a night guard for a while.

Jeremy Fitzgerald was written on the badge and she remembered her father's last words.

Remember, Katherine. You're strong and don't let anyone hold you down. You're a Fitzgerald through and through. Do what you think is right in your heart.

She felt hot tears roll down her cheeks as she thought of her grandfather's last words, holding the badge to her heart. She missed him very much.

By the time the clock had hit 12, Evan was both physically and mentally exhausted. He found out that Sun was the ultimate chatterbox as well as the ultimate hider. Evan, Sun, Roxanne and Mike were still untouched by the time midnight struck, making the 4 of them the winners of the first game. They all met back up in front of Freddy's room, excitedly chatting amongst each other when Evan and Sun made it back. Freddy was the first one to greet them, along with Vandana who seemed to still be full of energy.

"Evan, congratulations. You and Sun did the best out of everyone as you were seen the least." Vandana nodded excitedly.

"Yeah, Mr. Nafto! Mike and Roxanne were almost caught a few times while you two disappeared from existence entirely. We saw your dots, but we could never catch up." Evan chuckled at the comments.

"Well, it's thanks to Sun that we could do as well as we did. It seems he gets out a lot more often than I thought and he knows all the shortcuts." Sun fake blushed, waving his hand and holding his face from the comments.

"Awwh, shucks, Edwin. You're such a nice guy." Evan rolled his eyes, giving up on correcting the sun clown's name for him. The technician stretched and yawned, feeling his fatigue built up from his long days work affecting him now.

"Okay, that's it for me. I think I'll be getting going soon enough here. Are you staying, Vandana?" The girl nodded energetically.

"I'm not sure why, but I have a lot of energy right now so it would be a waste to leave just yet. Besides, playing HGST was awesome with the Rockstar crew." Freddy thanked her silently and Evan took off his Faz-watch before giving it to the Sun.

"I'll entrust you with this. Make sure to use it properly and give it back to Freddy when you guys are done playing, okay?" Sun nodded rapidly as he strapped on the watch, looking around on it. "Win for me in my place, buddy." Sun hugged the man, who just patted his sun head. Soon, Evan had been out in the parking lot in his car. He was happy to be going home to his warm bed and the food that Chara would be cooking.

Evan's mouth watered at the thought of his companion's cooking, thinking she cooked better than any five star restaurant ever could. He started to leave the parking lot with his mind on Chara and her food while owning a big smile on his face.

Mangle had shut herself in her room, locking the door and ignored the calls to her that Foxy had been making. While she did appreciate her fox brother wanting to help her through tough times, she felt like she needed space at the moment. After cleaning the fake blood off her maw, she dove under the covers and let her mind wander to what happened earlier.

She started to break down, remembering memories of something dark and suppressed that no one should ever have to remember. She had told her family that she couldn't remember anything before, but that was a lie as this wasn't the first time she remembered something like this.

Her last memory she remembered, something that came back to her during the last christmas they had, was a fireplace and a warm hand on her back accompanied with voices that she couldn't make out, but had felt like they were from someone she once loved. The memory made her tear up and truly realized that she belonged here, even though she wasn't blood related to anyone. The person that made her feel especially at home was Evan.

She remembered her first real persistent memories as Mangle, in life in general, had been awful with everything around her being scary except her sister and Evan.

-SB-

Pain. Pain was all Mangle felt as she woke up in her area of the Parts & Service, queued up to be repaired before the big day. How she knew that tomorrow was important was beyond her as she couldn't even tell what exactly she was by looking around. Every movement, every jostle and jiggle hurt more than the last one, making her feel as if her body was going to be ripped apart if she moved even in the slightest, but her mind was honed on one thing. There was someone in the building and she had to kill him.

As Mangle attempted to get up, a puppet-like figure appeared, watching the amalgam who was struggling to get off the floor. The puppet had a static face, no sort of emotions evident as it bent down and patted the weak animatronic's head.

"I'm sorry, little one." Said the puppet in a morose tone, her other black hand rolled into a fist. "We will make this right, but for now, rest." Some feeling came over Mangle as she lowered herself back down to the ground, feeling very sleepy.

Before she knew it, she went unconscious as her thoughts faded to black.

-SB-

There had been many spotty memories she had of Chara, from being checked on to teaching her how to function with her broken body to even learning how to speak. Though, speaking at the time was tough especially since the voice box that she had spewed mostly harsh static all the time.

Either way, this had been one of the main reasons she felt so close to the puppet as she did. She was her older sister and, while they may have not had the same blood running through their veins, they were a family. Even the pizzeria eventually fell, Chara had been with her all the way.

-SB-

It had been a week now since the two animatronics escaped the pizzeria and they were resting the day away in an older building, seeming to be an abandoned workshop on the edge of town. Chara had been leading the way to what she says is going to make them better and Mangle had no other option but to trust the puppet. Not that she didn't already as Chara had been one of the two animatronics, Foxy being the other, who really cared for her even though she was broken and even helped her clean the nasty red mess off of herself whenever she woke up like that.

The day was hot and it wasn't exactly cool inside the building, even in the shade. The humid atmosphere was messing with Mangle's exposed servos, making her twitchier than she normally was. At least moving around didn't hurt as much as it used to, but she wished she could move her body as well as Chara did.

The puppet looked back towards the pink amalgam of parts and smiled a bit, putting down the map and other papers she stole from the pizzeria and moved over to Mangle. When she got there, she lifted her head onto the Puppet's lap, laying it there so that her black and white sister could rub her head the way she loved it the most. She loved Chara like a sister and she knew that as long as they stuck together, they could make anything work out in the end.

-SB-

Chara had been her savior and her big sister and no matter what rough patches they had, they knew they had each other's backs. Unfortunately, Mangle couldn't get better over time and truly needed parts and, with how hard she was pushing her body, Chara was starting to be the same.

-SB-

Finally, the pair of sisters arrived at a building that was supposed to be ARI. From the information that Chara gathered, it had been easiest to access from underneath the abandoned building named "Circus Baby's", which they had found after some thorough investigating. The posters plastered inside the windows had faded from age and the doors looked like they barely stayed on their hinges. The two started to make it inside, Mangle struggling to move properly without help.

Mangle had suggested for Chara to leave her behind since she was such a burden, but the puppet refused to do so saying that they were going to make it through this tough time together and, when they get better, they'll explore the world and see everything they can. Maybe they'd entertain some children while they can. These ideas really kept them both going as far as they did, fueling their motivation to get better.

The entrance had been a hatch going down a flight of spiral stairs and into an elevator and neither of them had too hard a time with the stairs down or the elevator, which talked to them sending the puppet into attack mode, but they soon realized it was something not alive nor could it harm them. It was when they got down to the lowest floor, that's where things became a bit more complex.

The layout of the map provided had been quite confusing, sending them in circles in the dark plenty of times before finding the place that they needed. At this point, Chara had been feeling extremely exhausted from helping Mangle move with her powers and Mangle could no longer move by herself at all. The pain of reality hit Mangle, making it harder to move and she felt like he originally did when she woke up the first time. Chara decided that moving off on her own to search down here was the best idea and Mangle agreed, deciding to rest against a pile of fabric like curtains or bed covers.

As Chara left, Mangle wondered if she'd ever see her sister again. She knew that she suggested for the puppet to abandon her, but truly Mangle didn't want to die. A tear fell from her eye as she waited for her sister to come back, hoping that she'd be okay.

-SB-

Mangle had really thought that was the end of her there as she laid so long in the darkness by herself. It was then that Chara saved her once again and brought someone that she could call one of her favorite people and the person who saved her sister and herself.

-SB-

Mangle woke up to footsteps approaching her slowly as a large light lit up a portion of the room she was in. She weakly picked up her head, growling towards the noise until she felt a familiar presence nearby. A slender black hand had touched the amalgam's head, soothing her into silence.

"It's me, Mangle. I brought help." Chara said, sounding a lot better than she did before. "He even fixed me when I collapsed and I feel 100% better." Mangle felt a mix of emotions from the news she heard before whimpering out a bit. "I understand that it's scary having someone work on you, but I don't wanna see you in so much pain. Please, let him help you."

Mangle wasn't sure why the puppet trusted this person as much as it seems she did, but she couldn't deny her sister when she pleaded with her the way she did and so she nodded in response, eliciting an excited response from the puppet. She hugged Mangle's head softly to her body.

"Thank you… Please, let me know if it hurts and I'll make sure to tell him." Mangle nodded again as she heard footsteps approaching closer to her.

"H-hi…" Said Evan, who was extremely confused. He used to be afraid of animatronics but now he was helping two of them out. It's not like he wasn't afraid but he could feel their pain through his senses, especially Mangle who looked like a pile of parts. He looked over her body and truly couldn't see a place where something wasn't broken. The wince on Evan's face told Mangle everything she needed to know about her situation. It didn't look good as Chara and the man stood there, talking about her. Evan kneeled down close to her and rubbed her head gently.

"I'll put you back together, I promise." Said Evan to Mangle and, for some reason, the amalgam felt reassured that she would be better once he was finished. Then her and Chara could go do all those fun things they had talked about before, fixed and free.

Her eyes closed as she relinquished herself to Evan, hoping for only the best.

-SB-

Evan was able to repair Mangle within 3 days of meeting, making her feel a lot better but physically she was very naked, her endoskeleton showing minus a few places like her face and feet. From there, they had put their trust into each other as none of them really knew what to do or where to go. They made it to where they were today because of fate. She was able to be here today because of her two heroic family members. She cherished them with her life as much as she possibly could, wishing them nothing but happiness.

Mangle buried her face into her pillow, feeling a bit hollow on the inside. She wanted to talk to Evan about her problems and get reassurance from him, but he wasn't home yet and she was sure that he would be very tired when he got home. At that thought, a knock sounded from her door, making her feel frustrated as she answered it from afar.

"Go away, I don't want to talk right now." Mangle said, covering her face with her pillow.

"Oh. I figured I'd come check on you since I heard you weren't feeling very good." Said a tired sounding Evan through the door, making Mangle jump up a bit.

"Wait!" She cried, looking towards the door a bit embarrassed. "Y-you can come in just… close the door behind you." Evan slowly opened up the door before looking around to see the bloody mess on the table in the middle of her room, making the pink fox feel even more embarrassed.

"Uh… did you have fun eating people while I was gone?" Evan said as he picked up the fake and blood candy human head from the floor. Mangle pushed herself into her pillow, not saying anything. The man put down the head and moved over to her bed, sitting on the edge. "So… what happened?"

Mangle opened up her mouth to speak, but felt the tears well up again and threw herself to Evan, embracing the man as she weeped her eyes out. Evan simply embraced her back, rubbed and patted her back as she let out her pent-up tears onto his shirt. He hummed a soft tune, one that Mangle remembered as the same tune that Chara would always chime for him when he woke up with nightmares. They stayed there for a while, basking in each other's embraces until Mangle stopped crying.

"Don't worry, I'm here to save the day." Joked Evan, making Mangle giggle a bit into his chest. "So, what actually happened?" Mangle pulled herself back up from Evan and began to explain everything to him, including the parts where they scared the living daylights out of Katherine. Evan laughed at that part very hard, thinking that she deserved it for stealing, trespassing and attempting to hurt his family. It was afterwards that she got to the darker part of the story, where Evan found it surprising that Mangle was remembering such a graphic memory the way she did.

"Maybe you're starting to remember your past." Evan said, trying to lighten up the mood, but Mangle wasn't nearly as excited.

"I don't know, Evan, I just… don't care to remember my past as much as everyone else does. I mean, why would I? What am I going to do if I remember my old life? Show up at my parents doorstep and say, 'Mom, Dad. I'm your missing daughter that you lost all those years ago!'." Evan sighed at the negativity.

"I'm not saying that but it's good to know where you came from. It could cause you issues in the future."

"But I don't care where I came from. I already have the best family I could ask for." Evan smiled at her and patted her head, making her practically purr.

"Well, I'm happy. You are the best little sister a guy could ask for. Anyways, Chara finished with the lasagna and salad so we should head out before they eat all of it." He got up and headed for the door but Mangle called out to him.

"Wait!" Mangle said, causing the man to turn around in attention. "Uhm… Could I… you know…" Evan stood there, smiling, allowing the meek-asker to spit out her question. "Could I… sleep with you guys tonight?" Evan nodded.

"I don't mind, but you'll probably need to ask your sister. She usually takes up the other half of the bed." Mangle squealed, ran out of bed and hugged Evan.

"Thank you so much!" She ran out of the door and into the kitchen, leaving the technician with a smile. He was happy he could calm Mangle down, but something had been bothering him. Usually when an animatronic starts regaining their memories, it's extremely painful as it comes in the form of a splitting headache and very aggressive mood swings but… the one thing that concerned him the most was the mention of purple eyes. As far as he knew, the only people who get purple eyes are himself and Michael. Maybe he'd mention it to him tomorrow when he gets up.

Evan pushed aside all the worrying thoughts and moved himself out to the kitchen. All these problems could be saved for another time but, for now, he was hungry and damn if he was gonna let them outeat him.

-SB-

Evan had been laying in at the edge of the bed as Mangle slept between him and Chara quietly, both of them watching over her with a smile.

"She looks so peaceful." Whispered Chara and she held onto her sister's hand. Evan held onto the other one as well, propping himself up on his free arm.

"Yeah, it's lovely. To think she was the same fox who was shoving a large piece of Lasagna into her face about an hour ago." Chara giggled quietly at the comment as the both continued to watch.

"I wish we could do this everyday." Chara said, grabbing Evan's attention.

"By this do you mean sleeping together?" He said, receiving a nod from the puppet.

"As much as I love my alone time with you, I think she'd be very happy if she could be with us more often." Evan chuckled a bit.

"Well, I'll have to buy a bigger bed if we are going to do that." Chara smiled and laid down fully.

"We oughta get some sleep. We have more to decorate tomorrow and I'm almost certain Foxy broke something detaching his head again." Evan sighed, smiling anyways.

"Goodnight, Chara."

"Goodnight, Evan."

The night pressed on and the three of them fell asleep comfortably snuggled up to each other. It had been a peaceful night and no one seemed to be having nightmares, but Evan did hear something in his sleep that stuck with him for the upcoming days.

"We're still family, right?" Said Gregory, the voice of the boy echoed in his head.

-SB-

Foxy hadn't ever been drunk before but after trying to outdrink Evan, whose body can't get drunk due to all the Remnant, he knew he was completely wasted. It had been a new experience for him and he hoped to have friends and family surrounding him for his first time. Except, the person he wanted here the most wasn't here.

He thought about Lillie a lot realizing he took her company for granted and knew exactly how much he really cared for the small doll. Maybe they were of different sizes, but he was certain her heart was big enough to engulf her own body.

As Foxy laid on the floor in the basement, he could only wonder where his first mate was and hope she was okay. He would find out soon enough, even if he had to turn over every rock and stone.

-SB-

Back at the pizzaplex, Vandana had been exploring uncharted territories looking for a hiding place when she came across a particular room. It had writing all over the metal door spilling onto the wall and she moved closer, signaling the door to open. She looked around to see if anyone was near, but there was no one there but her.

As she took a step inside the room, she could tell something was different about this room as it didn't give off the same comfortable feeling the rest of the pizzeria did but looked something like a workshop instead. Vandana looked around as her eyes finally stopped onto something peculiar.

It had been a white, pristine rectangular device that looked like it should've been worn over her eyes with two small sticks with buttons near it. She wasn't sure why, but she felt the need to put it on almost as if it was calling her name. Despite her caution, her curiosity took over her as she found the power switch, put them on and turned them on to see.

In an instant, it showed flashes of images and almost unfollowable speed, pouring knowledge directly into her head before shutting off with a spark. Vandana quickly took them off, cursing as the device had been smoking.

"Vanny, are you here? We're about to start another game!" Yelled Chica from a distance, echoing directly into the room. She quickly put down the device and yelled back.

"Yeah! I'll be there in one second!" She hoped that no one would know that it was her coming into the room, but she was ready to apologize just in case she did break it. As she left the room, her eyes started to burn, her irises glowing in a red color before she blinked and rubbed her eyes, both being the normal color they were.

She moved out of the room and into the hallway before looking around, confused on why she was there in the first place. Her memory felt spotty, as if she didn't remember what happened just moments ago. Chica called out again and Vandana moved towards her voice, pushing back the questions she had in her mind moments ago.

Though, she felt a very creative idea pop into her head. She'd definitely have to stop by the store sometime before she went to work later that morning to pick up some supplies. She knew that this project was going to absolutely be killer.
