At the Noceda residence, Azura was sitting on the couch going through The BL Times trying to find a job. Ever since she got back, she was knee deep trying to find some kind of job in the paper while her brother was writing on a list.

Her mom came in with a perplex expression on her face. "Azura, your mother told me you were trying to find a job."

"Yup." Azura responded.

"Something about, wanting to find her true want." Manny replied.

Amity raised an eyebrow at her daughter. "And that will help because…."

"It apparently worked with Dr Tholomue." Azura replied. "He had one job and that helped him realise what he wanted. And in order to do that, I'll pick the first job I'll see." She squinted her eyes. "Waste collector? Uh…..No!" She crossed that job with her pen.

"Azura, I don't know about this." Amity said. "You still have school."

"Uh…Duh, why do you think I'm taking a weekend job?" Azura responded.

"To avoid us." Manny retorted.

"Manny!" Azura exclaimed to her brother.

"You really have to think about what you say, sweetie." Amity said to her son.

Manny shrugged his shoulders. "Sorry. Can't do it."

Luz then walked in with Stringbean on her shoulder and Ghost following her. "So, Mija, how's the job hunt going?"

"I don't know if a lot of these are me." Azura replied. "Waitress, assistant chef and demon babysitter just don't seem fit for me."

"You could try and work at the library just like your Mom." Luz suggested. "Heck, you could probably do well with kids."

Azura pondered the suggestion. "Let me get back to you on that. Oh! How about I join you on one of your archeological adventures, Mom?"

Amity narrowed her eyes at her daughter. "No! Not because I don't think you can handle it, but because my digs could take weeks and I'm not having you miss school."

"Mami, how about I be your bodyguard?" Azura suggested. "So I can protect you from those crazy fans."

"No offence sis, but you don't physically look bodyguard-ish." Manny said.

"Come on! My arms aren't noodle like." Azura rolled up her sleeve to look at her arms. She flexed her arms and saw that they weren't that muscular but not noodle like. "See?"

"They're more baguette like." Manny remarked.

Luz had an unsure look. "Look Azura, I admire your willingness, but I don't think I'd like my own daughter as my own personal bodyguard. No offence, but I have my Palisman." Stringbean nuzzled her owner's face which Azura narrowed her eyes at.

She sighed sadly and turned to her Palisman. "I want a job so I can figure out what I want." She tried that but once again, her Palisman did not come to life. "And….That didn't work."

Luz approached her daughter and placed a comforting hand on her. "You'll get there eventually. But, maybe I wouldn't go for a job right now. Maybe some kind of volunteer work. Don't know what, I mean, volunteer work offers don't come out of nowhere." Luz then heard ringing from her phone. She began touching her body as she searched for her device but then, Stringbean spat it out of her mouth. She smiled at her Palisman and placed the phone to her ear. "Hello?"

"That's covered in her drool, right?" Manny asked.

"Uh huh….Oh…..Okay, hold on!" Luz stood up off the floor.

"Who is it?" Amity asked.

"Gus wants letting through." Luz exited her house and closed the door.

Outside their house, which was what used to be the Owl House which was what Luz and Amity moved into after they graduated college. Eda lent it them so they wouldn't break their backs finding a home that would suit them.

Luz walked up to the door and turned the door knob in a certain direction which caused the portal to activate. She opened the door and out exited Gus and a bunch of young little witchlits and demons.

Gus, now in his late thirties, still kept his hair the way he did when he was 16. Locs and he even grew a beard. He still wore a yellow blazer and brown vest over a white shirt, dark blue trousers and loafers.

His occupation was still as the teacher for the human/witch exchange program where he would teach witches and humans about the respective realms. But during the last three days, he'd get young witchlits usually between the ages of 3-5 who want to learn about the Human Realm. And surprisingly, there were a lot of them.

"Okay is everyone here?" Gus asked his students. "Cause if I find out that one of you is missing and replaced with an illusion, I'm going to be upset. I'm looking at you, Lance!"

The round headed five year old, yellow demon hung his head in shame while Gus talked to Luz. "So, how are today's batch of students?"

"I had to stop Amelia from running into the road before she got hit by a car, Goranda almost fell into an open sewer and Anna almost gave that Hopkins guy a hug." Gus informed her.

Luz groaned and crossed her arms. "He's still here?"

"Of course he is." Gus replied. "That guy is going to be taken over by his obsession until death." He gave a massive yawn that Luz took notice of.

"You okay Gus?" Luz asked.

"Yeah. Just ya know, another lesson of watching out for kids and making sure they don't kill each other." Gus replied. "Hey Wolfgang! Put that rock down! Thank you!"

"You look like you could use a break." Luz remarked.

Gus sighed. "You're right I should, but I have a commitment to make to some more students who wish to go to the Human Realm."

"But tomorrow's Saturday." Luz pointed out.

"I know! I know! But….Ya know, duty calls." Gus said. "Got to take some witchlits, which includes Alistair. I mean, it's a lot of kids but I'll handle it."

"Mr Porter." Said a small witchlit with pigtails and an innocent little smile. She tugged against his pants. "I accidentally set fire to my hair." She pointed at her raven hair which had caught fire. But instead, she was laughing.

Gus instantly panicked at the sight before he summoned a spell that made a bucket of water appear that he tossed on her.

Instead of being annoyed about being wet, she was laughing. "Yay! No bath!" She cried happily.

Gus sighed. "You see what I have to deal with Luz?"

"Do you have any one else who could help?" She asked.

"Not right now. But I could do with some volunteers." Gus replied.

In that moment, Luz had an idea brewing. But she needed to know one thing. "Would the volunteers need to be any kind of specific age?"

"No." Gus replied. "I just need someone who's good with kids."

In that moment, Luz smiled as she thought of someone who needs this. She thought of her daughter. "Gus! I might know someone."

The next day, Azura had arrived to the University of Wild Magic, the university that replaced the Emperor's castle and the school her Grandma Eda runs.

She walked up the stairs to the platform where the Demon/Human exchange was taking place. When she got to the top she was greeted by the students and the school headmistress, Eda.

Five of the students included a rock demon with blue eyes, a witch with tanned skin and three eyes, a plump witch with blue snot coming out of their nose, a witch with red hair and a dark skinned witch with a cone-shaped head.

Eda was now in her mid 70's but to some, they'd say she hardly aged besides a few wrinkles on her face. She still had her hook hand which she occasionally takes off for various occasions.

"Ah, there you are kiddo!" The headmistress took off her hook hand and replaced it with a false hand so she wouldn't impale her surrogate granddaughter. She and her granddaughter shared a hug that disconnected from after a bit. "How ya doin? Heard Ronda got you into trouble at school."

"Well, I avoided the detention pit." Azura replied. "So, pretty grateful about that."

"Plus, it's great you're volunteering. I was about to leave these kids with Ronda as a means of her to learn responsibility." Eda explained. "But as you can tell…" The two heard the sound of an explosion coming from one of the platforms.

But more specifically, the glyph and combos class where they saw Ronda standing in place with her hair on fire. "Whoops! Accidentally activated the explosive glyph."

Eda narrowed her eyes at her daughter. "Don't go anywhere, Ronda!"

"Too late!" Ronda exclaimed before she jumped on her Raven Palisman, Rogue.

Eda sighed. "What her her to be this way?"

"You encouraged her." Azura retorted.

Eda just grinned. "Oh yeah! But I didn't go that far. Now, why don't you get seated while I explain everything?"

Azura then turned to one of the five year olds in attendance. Gus' son, Alistair. He had a mixture of short Raven hair with a bit of dark green as well, a pointy nose, chubby cheeks and orange eyes.

"Hiya Alistair." Azura said as she sat next to him. "You excited to visit the Human Realm?"

"Yup."

"I'm not." Said a lazy voice that startled Azura. She looked next to the five year old and saw his big adopted sister, Mildred.

"Mildred?" Azura reacted in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, Mr Porter said I should get out more often and hang out with my 'brother' instead of watching the orb in my pyjamas." She replied. "And he said that while I haven't finished breakfast." She then grabbed a bowl of cereal that was next to her and continued eating it.

Azura looked at her friend with a deadpanned look while Alistair just smiled because he was excited to have his sister with him for today.

Eda then got in front of the class and removed her false hand with a stick hand. "Okay kids…" She pointed the stick on the board which had a drawing of Earth. "….This is the Human Realm. Today you're going to be visiting it as your first lesson in the Human Realm/Demon Realm exchange programme. Unfortunately, our usual teacher Mr Porter is taking the day off. So today you're going to be monitored by Azura Noceda and Mildred Porter. So, for the sake of me, your parents and a visit from our safeguarding team. Think you can do?"

"Yes Mrs Clawthorne." The kids replied.

"Sure, whatever, Eda." Mildred said.

"Hey!" Eda exclaimed. "You refer to me as Eda outside of university, Porter! Alright, go get your disguises, do as you're told and have a great day." The 6 kids which included Alistair left to get their stuff. Azura and Mildred were about to follow but were then stopped by Eda. "Listen, I need you to keep an eye on them. Who knows what kind of chaos they'll cause while there."

Mildred blew a raspberry. "Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on them."

"I was telling Azura." Eda retorted. "I've heard how lazy you can be."

"Relax Eda, I've handled my brother and beasts…"

"Ouch." Mildred remarked.

"….so that means I can handle a bunch of little witchlets."

"And there will be hilarious hijinks while my Dad is having his own adventure at home." Mildred remarked.

Meanwhile at the Porter residence, Gus was having a break by doing something he didn't want anyone seeing. He was lip syncing some human music while wearing a towel over his body.

The inside of his house had a very Human Realm aesthetic to it. He had a human couch, human doors, human walls, human floors, human kitchen, a human living room and he even had a TV and game console. Plus, a disc that either Alistair or Mildred ate mistaking it for a cookie.

As he danced around his living room while mouthing the lyrics, he didn't notice someone unlocking the door near him.

"Come on, Hunter, isn't it disrespectful to barge in on Gus?" Amity asked Hunter while she, him, Luz, Willow and their respective Palismen entered the house.

"Amity, you don't know him." Hunter retorted. "He's my best pal. He doesn't do anything besides stream human junk."

But when they fully entered the home, the four friends were shocked to see what their friend was doing.

The reactions to what they were seeing was mixed. Luz was completely baffled, Willow was horrified, Hunter was cringing, Amity was snickering, Waffles was concerned, Ghost just looked unimpressed, Stringbean was smiling while Clover was shaking their head.

Amity leaned toward Hunter still with her grin. "What human show is he streaming right now?"

"Uh….I think it's The Demon Realm's Most Embarrassing Videos." Hunter replied.

Gus still didn't notice his friends but unfortunately, his Palisman did and tried to get his attention by hissing.

Gus didn't hear his Palisman and continued to lip synch to the song unaware of his friends still here watching him.

"Sweet moves, Porter." Amity remarked.

"Thanks, Amity." Gus said before continuing what he was doing. He turned around and saw his friends with their respective reactions. He screamed and quickly summoned a spell to cast an illusion to make it appear he was wearing clothes. "Don't barge in like that!"

"Sorry….I….I didn't know this was what you also do when you're alone." Hunter said.

"Why are you here anyway?" Gus asked.

Willow responded by holding up a 24 pack of apple blood cans in her hand. "Surprise? We wanted to hang out with you."

Instead of continuing to be annoyed, Gus smiled at his best friends. "Aww guys. First, let me get changed. This might be an illusion but my towel has fell off."

Later at the Noceda residence, Azura and Mildred were standing behind the portal door while staring at the 6 students coming along with them.

Azura had her hair covering her ears as a means to not get noticed by humans while Mildred had her ears sticking out as a means of not caring.

Her friend noticed this and pulled a beanie from her pocket before forcing it on Mildred's head.

"Okay, roll call!" Azura announced. "Alistair Porter."

"Here!" Alistair yelled, now wearing a

"Rockrick Rocks!" The rock demon, now wearing a ton of clothing over his body replied.

"Tammy Horna!"

The three eyed witch, now wearing a bandana over her head and ears raised her hand. "Here!"

"Riley O'Riley!"

The plump witch raised their hand. "Here!"

"Barry Barryson!"

The red haired witch, now wearing a beanie raised his hand. "Here!"

"And I. M. Stu Peit." The children laugh as well as Mildred. She laughed nervously while narrowing her eyes at Mildred.

Mildred noticed this and raised her hands in defence. "Don't look at me. I just wrote the initials."

"Wait, there's actually a name that sounds like stupid?" Azura asked.

The kid with the cone head, now wearing a top hat raised his hand. "I'm here, Azura."

Azura seemed surprised by this. "Okay. Alright, now I know that everyone is here, are we ready to go?"

"Yes!" The kids cried.

"Now, before we go, does anyone need the bathroom?" Azura asked.

Stu raised his hand. "I need to pee."

"Okay." Azura said. "Mildred, keep an eye on the kids while I handle Stu." She took Stu's hand and entered her home so she could help him out.

"I'll try." Mildred said before picking up her scroll.

Four minutes later, she returned. "Okay, Stu, go back with the others." She noticed that Mildred was on her scroll not caring about the kid's safety. "Mildred!"

"What? They didn't fight." Mildred said while pointing at the kids who were standing there.

"Okay…Let's…" She noticed Riley doing a little dance which had them moving their feet. "…Uh…Riley?"

"I have to pee!" They cried.

Azura sighed. "Okay Riley, come on. Mildred."

"I got it." Mildred said before pulling her scroll out and continued playing on it.

Six minutes later, Azura returned with Riley. "Okay, go on with the rest. Okay kids are we…."

"Ms Noceda!" Mildred whined as she raised her hand high. "I need to pee!"

Azura groaned. "Mildred, you're 15 years old! You can go as you please!"

"Thank you." Mildred gave Azura a smile before entering her home to do her business.

Twelve minutes later, Mildred exited the house. "Ohhhhh!"

"Mildred! What took you too long?!" Azura asked angrily.

"Just don't go in there." Mildred replied.

"Okay! Do we…."

Riley raised their hand. "Ms Noceda! I need to go!"

Azura looked baffled. "You've just been! Uh, fine!"

Five minutes later, Azura walked out of the house where Alistair raised his tiny hand. "Azura…"

"What?!" Azura asked impatiently before quickly going back to calm. "Yes?"

"I need to go." Alistair whined.

Azura sighed. "Does anyone need the bathroom?"

Everyone, including Mildred raised their hands, annoying Azura. "Mildred!"

"What? I have a weak bladder."

Forty-two minutes later, an exhausted Azura and a chilled Mildred were standing in front of the kids as they finally prepared to leave. "Okay! This better be the last bathroom trip. Because we have delayed this trip so many times."

"Azura…"

"Uh…..Don't tell me."

"No. I just wanted to see how you'd react." Mildred's response made Azura narrow her eyes at her.

She smiled at the kids just make herself look presentable for them. "Alright kids, are you ready?"

"Yeah!" The kids exclaimed.

"Alright…." She turned knob into a certain direction, causing the portal to activate. Once it opened, they were greeted to a bright light. "…Kids, welcome to the Human Realm." Mildred just walked through the door without hesitation while Azura helped some of the nervous kids along. Alistair was the last one to go through since he looked very nervous. "What's the matter, Alistair?"

"Mildred told me of a scary man that lives in the Human Realm who tries to capture people like us." Alistair said. "I'm scared that we will run into him."

Azura knew what Alistair was talking about. She had heard the stories of Jacob Hopkins and his crazy obsession with the Demon Realm, witches and his never ending quest to prove their existence just to verify his MewTube account.

Azura gave the young boy an assuring smile. "Hey Alistair, that man is not going to get you. I assure you. And if he is going to touch any of you kids, then we're going to kick his stupid butt. Because do you wanna know why? He's afraid of us more than he is of us. And since he is, he will learn not to mess with witches like us." She drew a spell circle and that made her summon a fireball.

Alistair smiled and drew spell circles with his hands that caused him to summon two fireballs that were bigger than Azura's. This made Azura smile at the five year old, impressed with his magic.

"Or maybe they might kick his butt." Mildred interjected. "Don't underestimate them just because they're five."

"Go back with the kids, Mildred." Azura said.

"Fine." Mildred said before putting her head back through the door.

"Greta job, little dude." She said, referring to his fire magic before ruffling his hair and causing him to laugh. "Now, are you ready to spend time in the Human Realm with your sister and classmates?"

"Yeah!" Alistair replied.

"I hope they're okay." Azura said before she and him walked through the door.

But when they got to the other side, they saw Mildred on her scroll while not looking out for the children.

She saw Rockrick eating the green grass, Riley was tearing out the flowers that were being planted in the ground, Tammy looked terrified, Stu was examining a berry while Barry was nowhere to be seen.

"Mildred!" Azura exclaimed while narrowing her eyes at her friend.

"What? They're not my brother." Mildred retorted. "And neither is my brother." But instead of being hurt, Alistair just smiled lovingly at his adopted sister.

Azura groaned at her friend's irresponsibility before going to stop Rockrick from eating the grass, Riley tearing out the flowers she knew her Abuela planted and stopping Stu from popping a berry into his mouth.

She lined them together so she could have a word with them. "Rockrick, don't eat the grass, you don't know what animal went to the bathroom there; Riley, my Abuela planted those flowers so please be respectful; And Stu, certain berries in the Human Realm are not for consumption. Understand? For example, these are fictiberries. Berries only native to Gravesfield. You eat one, you end up paralysed after 20 minutes."

"Yes Ms Noceda." The three kids said.

Azura then turned to Tammy who looked terrified by being in a new realm. "Hey Tammy, what's the matter?"

"I….I….I just….I don't know how to feel about being here." Tammy replied. "I'm a little scared. What if I get lost? Or what if I get hurt by one of the animals?"

Azura gave Tammy a gentle smile. "It's okay, Tammy. I'm not going to lose any of you kids."

"Tell that to Barry." Mildred retorted.

"Nice try Mildred!" Azura said.

"No, he just ran off because he got curious."

Azura took her word and looked at the kids around her and noticed that one of the kids was missing. "AHHHH! Barry!"

"Over here!" Barry called from a distant.

"Don't move Barry, I'm coming!" She ran off to find Barry while Mildred just stayed behind with the other kids.

"Oh, I want to see where this is going." Mildred said. "Come on kids." She motioned the kids to follow her out of the forest and straight towards where Azura is following Barry.

Azura ran out of the forest and saw Barry in the middle of the road. "Hey Ms Noceda!" Barry called.

"Barry!" Azura yelled. "Get off the road."

"You told me not to move!" He argued before pointing forward. "Hey look at that worm coming toward me."

Azura looked to what Barry was pointing to and saw that it was a car. She instantly panicked and drew a spell circle to pull Barry off the road and onto the path.

She picked up the little witchlet and put him on his feet. "Don't do that again Barry!"

"What was that?" Barry asked.

"Was that a worm?" Riley asked.

"Or was that a carriage?" Rockrick asked.

"Or was that a parrot?" Stu asked.

"No, that's a car." Alistair replied.

"It looks scary." Tammy said while holding on to Mildred's leg.

"Well, I think that scary experience could lead to an educational experience." Azura said. "That was a car. It's common transport used by humans. It is powered by fuel made out of fossilised dead animals or electricity so ya know because…Gas ain't cheap. They usually travel in them to get to work or to visit friends or family or go on vacation."

"Wow, they're so cool!" Rockrick remarked.

"They're cool until they kill you." Mildred said.

"What?!" All the kids except Alistair exclaimed.

"Yeah, if you jump in front of them, they could crush every bone in your body or if you let the wheels crush you, they will kill you!" Mildred said.

Azura jumped in front of Mildred. "Or….Just hurt you! But don't go in front of a moving one to find out." She gritted her teeth to Mildred. "We're meant to be educating them, not scare them."

"But we're technically educating them by scaring them." Mildred's retort got Azura to try and retort back, but she couldn't think of a good one. Because in hindsight, Mildred was kind of right.

"Alright kids, are there any things you need to know?" Azura asked.

"Do humans have parks?" Rockrick asked.

"Do humans have tails growing out their butts?" Stu asked.

"Can we go and try their human ice scream?" Riley asked.

"Can we see how humans bury their dead?" Mildred asked.

"And if we go to a human cemetery, can we not raise the dead?" Asked the still scared Tammy.

"I wanna see a human library!" Alistair exclaimed.

"Okay! Library is a good experience." Azura said. "A place of education. Let's go kids. Also, remember the road safety laws. Before crossing the street, look left and right in case any vehicle comes."

As they began their trek to the library, Alistair walked up to his big sister. "Hey Mildred, do you want to find some books together?"

Mildred shrugged her shoulders. "I'll think about it. But you can."

"What if I get a human paper cut?"

"Then I'll have to keep an eye on you." Mildred replied. "Even though I planned on doing something else."

"You mean sleeping while reading a book?" Alistair asked.

"No, reading a book while sleeping." Mildred replied before lifting her leg up to reveal Tammy still wrapped around her leg. "As soon as I get this terrified child off my ankle."

Azura removed Tammy from Mildred's ankle and placed her on the ground. "Would you feel safe if I held your hand?" Azura asked the witchlet. She looked at Azura and nodded her head.

Azura reached her hand down for Tammy to hold onto while they explore the Human Realm. "Thanks Azura."

Alistair looked up to his sister. "Mildred…"

"No." Mildred said.

"Okay!" Alistair responded happily. "My hands are sweaty anyway."

Mildred looked at her brother with confusion. She could not understand how he could still love her like a sister even after all the lack of affection she was giving him.

Meanwhile in the Demon Realm at the Porter residence, the Hexsquad were all sitting down on the couch drinking canned apple blood together. Except for Luz whom was drinking some grape soda from the Human Realm.

They were currently laughing about something with Hunter looking embarrassed. "Oh man! Remember the time when Hunter got chased by those bees?" The squad laughed.

"Come on guys!" Hunter laughed with embarrassment. "I had no idea the phone was a bee hive. I was lucky I wasn't stung badly."

Gus smiled. "Man. I can't believe my son is having his first trip in the Human Realm. I wish I was there for him. But at least our daughters are looking out for him so I don't need to worry."

"Yeah. Azura's good with kids." Luz said. "Especially with Manny when he was four. She's definitely got things handled."

Back in the Human Realm, Azura, Mildred and the group of kids were in the Gravesfield library looking at human books.

Azura was standing in front of a bookshelf filled with kid books that she thought could be appropriate for some of the kids.

"Now, some of these books haven't leaked into our world as far as I'm aware of so…"

"Are they edible?" Rockrick asked while raising his hand.

Azura just stared at Rockrick with a surprised look. "Uh….Why would you want to eat them?"

"Because they look delicious." Rockrick was about to eat a children's picture book but Azura quickly took it out of his hands.

"No! Books are not for consumption." Azura said.

"Not even in the Human Realm?" Rockrick asked.

"No. Okay, as I was saying….."

"I have mucus falling out my nose!" Riley exclaimed loudly for everyone in the library to hear.

Azura quickly pulled out a napkin and approached the witchlet. "Okay Riley, thanks for telling me." She wiped the blue mucus coming out of their nose. "But, we need to be quiet, okay? A lot of Demon Realm library rules apply to Human Realm ones as well."

"Why aren't there any books flying?" Tammy asked as she stood on a book. "I love it when they do that."

Azura picked up Tammy and placed her with the others. "Okay Tammy. You know the Human Realm isn't magical, right? So….Things are a little boring. But you'll learn to appreciate the stuff like I did, since I am part human after all."

"Yawn." Mildred said.

"As I was saying…"Here are some of the children's books that are very popular." She picked up a book. "This is a classic children's book called Charles and the Candy Emporium. It's a tale about a boy in poverty who wins a trip to a candy emporium via a golden agreement sheet."

Mildred yawned. "Why couldn't you pick somewhere different Alistair?"

"Because I like libraries." Alistair replied. "They're so much fun."

"Uh huh. Sometimes I wonder why I need to class you as my brother."

Azura nudged her with her elbow. "Hey Mildred, be nice. You call this being kind and responsible?"

"Like you are with Barry?" Mildred retorted.

"What do you mean I…." She noticed that Barry was missing and instantly panicked. "Barry?! Barry?!"

"Whatever happened to being quiet?" Mildred retorted.

"Not when there's a kid, missing!" Azura argued. "Barry!"

"Sssshhhh!" The librarian shushed Azura. "People want to read."

Azura cringed. "Sorry." She whispered back. "Barry! Barry." She did a loud whisper to try and find the kid. "Mildred, why don't you keep the kids entertained by reading this book?"

Mildred sighed. "Fine." Azura left the group to look for Barry. Once she left, Mildred handed the book to her brother. "Alistair, you're five, you can read. I need to nap and a bedtime story might help me."

Alistair gave his sister a smile. "Okay sis."

Mildred yawned again. "Not your sis."

Meanwhile, Azura was looking around the library for any sign of Barry, doing quite yells to make sure she didn't disrupt anyone's reading time. "Barry! Barry!" She quietly yelled. "Barry, where are you?"

She looked down the corridor of shelves but didn't him. She went to the next row of shelves but still couldn't find him. Then the other, she didn't find anything but a ginger haired girl it's glasses around her brother's age reading her Mami's book.

Azura thought that she could be of help. "Hey kid, have you seen a kid around five years old anywhere?"

The girl looked at Azura with a knowing look. "I think I have." As she spoke, Azura noticed that she appeared to have braces.

"Great, where are they?" Azura asked.

"I don't know if it's the one but he spoke to me saying I'm a witch from the Demon Realm and this is my first time in the Human Realm." The girl's reply Azura pulled a panicked look and managed to withhold a scream. "Lucky he didn't tell Crazy Old Man Hopkins about this or otherwise he could be captured."

Azura exhaled. "Yeah, lucky."

"Hi Azura!" The two girls looked up and Azura panicked once she saw Barry was on top of a shelf while the other girl looked perplexed by this."

"How did he get up there?"

Azura ran to the next row of shelves and saw how Barry got up to the top. There was a staircase made entirely of books. "Never mind! I have to get him down!" Azura held her hands out so she could catch the little witch. "Barry, get down! It's too dangerous for you to be up there. You're going to get yourself hurt and honestly, I don't want to face the wrath of your parents."

"But it's cool up there!" Barry argued. "Though books don't fly, they do make cool stairs."

Azura panicked while the girl was still perplexed. "Uh…What is he talking about books flying?"

"Uh…." Instead of trying to explain, Azura made a spell circle that caused the girl fall asleep. "I'm really sorry and I hope we don't meet again." She turned back to Barry. "Okay Barry, let me catch you! On the count of three, jump off the book shelf so I can catch you. On three. One, two…" Barry jumped off the bookshelf and crashed in front of her.

Due to the pain, Barry began crying in pain leading Azura to panic and cringe. "Ohhhhh."

Later, she was walking Barry while she held an ice pack to his head since that was where it hurt the most. "Barry, I'm sorry that you hurt yourself, but will that teach you lesson about climbing on bookshelves?"

Barry sniffled. "Yes."

"The others were quite worried about you." Azura explained. "They're going to be really happy to see you."

When she arrived, she saw all the witchlets except for Alistair crying their eyes out while holding on to each other. She looked between the kids and then to Alistair whom was reading the book.

She then looked to Mildred and saw that she was napping. She groaned in anger and performed a spell to make her wake up.

"Huh? What?"

"Hey!" Azura exclaimed. "Mildred, you're meant to be keeping an eye on the kids! Why are they crying?"

"Why is Barry holding a bag of ice on his head?" Mildred asked. "Don't you know how contagious a brain freeze is?"

Azura stuttered. "Enough. Why are the kids crying?"

"I read this children's book but everyone was crying." Alistair replied. "I think your human kid's books are more disturbing than you thought."

Azura sighed. "Yup. I should have remembered how disturbed Manny was when Mami read him that book."

Back in the Demon Realm, the adult Hexsquad were still drinking while having a laugh. "So then, Amity stumbled while chatting up with my Abuela when they first met, she was sweating so bad that….Her hair stuck to her face and it took us two hours to unstick it." The Hexsquad laugh while Amity hid her face in embarrassment.

"Don't remind me!" Amity exclaimed. "I swore I almost screwed up with her. And what's worse, I still didn't know a lot of Spanish!" The group of adults laughed.

"Man, I wish I was there." Willow said.

"We could extract that memory from Amity's brain and convert it to film." Gus' suggestion made Amity quickly cover her ears.

"No! No! No! No! Not there!" Amity exclaimed.

"So, how are things at your jobs?" Willow asked. "Find any interesting artefacts?"

"Eh, just gold, nothing special." Amity replied. "But recently, I deciphered clues that show the location to an artefact known as the Idol of the Aitnetop. Whatever they are. Maybe some horrible tribe. I heard Flora D'esplora was looking for it as well. She's been getting a lot of good artefacts for her museum. But thankfully, Lilith still finds some light in all of it."

"And what about business with your dad?" Hunter asked. "How's that going?"

"He's still going through that mad scientist phase." Luz replied. "Wanting to invent some elaborate machines."

"Yeah. I tried his massage cooking gloves." Gus said. "They made my hands comfortable, but they're not good at keeping hold a tray of hot griffin casserole."

"Speaking of jobs, do you think Azura will decide whether she wants that job?" Willow asked.

"I could really use assistance." Gus said. "I doubt Mildred would help."

"Oh please!" Luz flicker her hand. "Azura's got this. Why wouldn't she?"

Back in the Human Realm, Mildred was flicking through her scroll in her music playlist. "Hey Azura, do you know what is a good montage song to listen to while I don't work?"

In the taking care of kids montage, Azura was showing the witchlets around in a pet store where many of them were enamoured by all the creatures on display.

Azura was showing Alistair and Rockrick some dogs which caused them to be enamoured while Mildred was allowing Tammy and Barry to play with the chew toys by squeaking them repeatedly.

Then, Barry approached and yanked her by her pants leg, getting her attention. He pointed to Riley, whom was about to eat a fish that was on display.

Azura quickly panicked and charged towards him and disarmed the fish out of his hand and quickly put them back in the fish tank.

But then, she got significant attention from one of the employees who pointed to Tammy whom was surrounded by a bunch of puppies that were freed from their cages.

After that, Azura and all the kids were banned from the pet store and decided to go to the ice cream parlour for a little treat.

But what Azura didn't anticipate was how fast the witchlets ate their desserts. But what she also didn't anticipate was how badly they reacted to brain freezes.

Since the Boiling Isles' version of a brain freeze will cause death, they began to panic along with Mildred. They flipped tables, broke windows, threw spoons and Rockrick even tossed a trash can out the window.

After that, Azura and the kids were banned from the ice cream store and had to find a different location to go to.

Thankfully, Azura could educate them about the wonders of a Human Realm park. Azura was showing Tammy and Riley some flowers of the Human Realm while Mildred was 'monitoring' her brother playing on the playground.

But once again, Azura did not expect but when she should have, some of the witchlets to do their own thing and misunderstand a lot of Human Realm stuff.

Barry mistook a birdbath as a drinking fountain and stole the water from the flying beasts of the Human Realm while Rockrick was destroying some human children's sandcastles while Stu was about to eat another poisonous berry. This made Azura panic as she realised that this was another disaster.

Later, Azura and Mildred led the group of witchlets outside the Gravesfield Museum. "Okay kids, I should really explained a lot of stuff better. Brain freezes in the Human Realm act more like migraines that vanish, birdbaths are just for birds, pets are to be purchased, an animal on display is not food and more importantly, don't touch anything unless you're curious and Barry please do no wander off!"

Barry was about to cross a crosswalk, unaware of the moving traffic. He groaned before walking back to his group.

"Okay kids, this is a Human Realm museum." She explained. "It's usually closed on weekends but…Let's just say I have an inside Human."

"Or in simpler terms, she got us in through nepotism." Mildred retorted.

Azura groaned. "Mildred!"

Later, Azura, Mildred and the kids entered the museum where they were greeted by Azura's auncle, Masha, her Aunt Vee's enby spouse. After leaving the Historical Society, Masha became the curator of Gravesfield's museum and are very strict when it comes to everything that is on display.

"Azura! How is my favourite niece?" They gave their niece a hug.

"Uh, she's your only niece." Mildred pointed out.

Masha gave her a smile. "That's why she's my favourite."

"By the way, how's Aunt Vee?" Azura asked. "Is she okay?"

"Stomach pains and a lot of thrashing in her sleep." Masha sighed. "I don't know what's going on with them but…" They rolled up their sleeve to reveal scratches on their arm. "….I'm starting to consider some couple's counselling. Do they have one for human and Basilisk?"

Azura shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know but…I'm gonna show these kids around the museum if you want to explain the rules."

"Okay kids, I know this is your first time in the Human Realm and in a human museum." Masha began. "So, I suggest you be careful with every exhibit and I try not to touch anything. Especially you, rocky, your hands look like can cause some kind of damage. Also…." While they explained what not to do in a human museum, someone was watching them from afar, dressed in a ninja suit and green goggles. "….And please do not consume our human suit no matter how nice it smells and also that weird human guy, Hopkins has been snooping about so you can either stay away from him or throw something hard on to his head. You won't be charged for assault and battery due to the police not liking the guy very much. Okay, well enjoy your trip, kids."

"Okay kids, I don't know what will happen so, how about we split up?" Azura suggested.

"Are you sure that's a good idea?" Mildred asked. "Because, you know I wouldn't keep an eye on the kids."

"No, but you will have to keep an eye on your brother." Azura said. "While Alistair will keep an eye on Barry. You other witchlets come, with me." She motioned her students to follow her while Mildred looked flabbergasted.

"Azura!" Mildred exclaimed.

"Yay!" Alistair cheered as he hugged his annoyed sister's leg.

Azura led the group of children to a section of the museum known as Our Planet where there was a holographic display of Earth and statues of extinct animals such as dinosaurs, sabertooth tigers and dodos.

Rockrick was staring at the holographic globe with a baffled look. "Ms Noceda, my Dad said the Human Realm was flat. Is it really round?"

Azura sighed. "Flat Earther's in the Demon Realm."

Riley stared at the velociraptor with an awed look. "Wow! Can I try and resurrect them?"

"Cool idea, but not a good idea." Azura replied. "I don't want a Triassic Planet movie on my hand."

Then, they were led to an exhibit about Gravesfield's settlers when the town was founded in 1567 by a pioneer named Tyler Williams.

Some of the witchlets listened to Azura explaining the history of the town while Stu was riding on one of the display horses. "Hey Azura, I'm riding the donkey!"

Instead of being annoyed, Azura just laughed as she took Stu off the fake animal. "Come on, Stu. Auncle Masha won't be happy about this."

Then, they ended up in the Gravesfield Witch Trials section where many of the kids were sitting on the floor watching a video about the history of the hunts.

Azura approached the kids with a concerned look. "Kids, I don't know if you should watch this. It might scare you."

"Will it?" Tammy asked as she held on to Azura's leg.

"It has some disturbing stuff." Azura replied.

"But we just started watching it." Rockrick said.

"Yeah!" Riley exclaimed.

"Humans were pretty stupid." Stu remarked.

Azura shrugged her shoulders. "I'm part human and even I have to agree. Okay, kids, you can watch it. But I'm gonna sit by you in case things get scary."

"Does Mildred want to watch it?" Stu asked.

"I'd call her, but she'd probably fall asleep." Azura replied. "I hope Alistair will keep her awake."

Meanwhile, Barry was on the head of one of the skeleton of a T-Rex, laughing with innocence. He looked down at Mildred and Alistair. "Hey guys! I'm riding a human beast!"

"Good for you." Mildred said, not caring for the kid.

"Is he allowed on that?" Alistair asked.

"They would have put on a don't climb on the exhibit sign if it isn't." She retorted.

Alistair looked at a sign and saw that it did say just that and instead shrugged his shoulders. "Mildred, I'm glad I'm spending time with you."

"You always are." Mildred said.

"I really like having you as a sister." Alistair's comment made Mildred sigh in annoyance.

"Okay, I don't care but I want to know something Alistair, why do you keep referring to me as your sister?" Mildred asked.

"Because you are." Alistair replied.

"No, I am not!" Mildred exclaimed. "We're not even related by blood! I'm adopted and you were born from Mr Porter's DNA!"

"What does DNA mean?" Barry asked.

"Don't Need Anybody!" Mildred replied. "Look Alistair, I don't know why you keep referring to me as your sister! Since you were born I never acknowledged you as my brother! You're just a five year old I happen to live with. Why are you so convinced that I am your sister?!"

"Because eventually you're going to accept it." Alistair replied with a happy grin.

"Well, I won't." Mildred said. "Titan! Why can't you just be upset about it for once?! I do not like you as a brother!" But instead of being upset, Alistair just stared at her with a smile. She sighed. "Your cuteness isn't gonna make me feel guilty. Listen Alistair, could you do me a solid and make sure Barry doesn't break any bones while I'm away doing Mildred stuff?"

"Okay!" Alistair replied.

Mildred walked away from Alistair and toward the exhibit next door and summoned her scroll to mess around on. She logged on to her Penstagram and saw a post from her Dad. It was a picture of him and his friends drinking some apple blood together.

The caption read, 'I may be the single member of the group, but at least I'm happy with my two favourite things.' He said while holding up some apple blood and a bucket. She swiped to the next picture which was a picture of an annoyed Mildred being hugged by Alistair. The caption read 'And I mean these two things.'

The comments in the comment section were from ManTholomue180 asking 'So, are we seeing each other again?'

Another one was DariusDeMan69 'Hunter better not be drinking much.'

And another from TerraTheKiller1546 'Belos followers will rise.'

She smiled at the picture and chuckled. "Shame they don't get it." She then heard the sound of what appeared to be someone climbing down a skeleton. She groaned in annoyance. "Okay, you better not break anything. Because I'm pretty sure Azura's Auncle will kill….." When she returned to check on her brother, she saw that her brother was gone.

At first she looked scared but then pulled a surprised look. "Uh oh."

Meanwhile in the witch hunting room, Tammy was clenching to Azura since the film was getting really scary for her while the other students were not so disturbed.

"Were these people actually witches?" Stu asked.

"No, they were just random humans minding their own business or doing something out of the ordinary for them." Azura replied.

Riley just laughed. "So humans killed each other due to superstition. That is so funny!"

Azura was shocked by Riley's reaction. "I mean….In a twisted and darkly comedic sort of way, yes."

Suddenly, Mildred ran into the room with a panicked look on her face. "Azura!"

"Sssshhhhh!" Rockrick exclaimed. "We're watching a movie."

Azura sighed and stood up, fearing that Mildred abandoned the kids. "Okay, I'll deal with them. Stay here with the kids while I find where you left Alistair and Barry."

Mildred then went wide eyed. "Oh yeah, Barry's missing as well."

"Wait, missing?!" Azura exclaimed.

"Azura, Alistair is gone and if we don't find him now then I'm going to get grounded by Mr Porter." Mildred said.

"Are you kidding me?!" Azura yelled out. "Uh! Kids, I'm going to need your help. Mildred lost Barry and Alistair and we need to find them. Think you can help?"

The kids stood up with determined looks on their faces. "We're not leaving them behind!" Rockrick declared.

"Yeah!" Riley exclaimed. "We will not leave them to fend for themselves against those Titan witch hunters!"

"Riley, they aren't a thing anymore." Azura said to the kid.

"Aww! I was looking forward to torture them!" Riley groaned.

And so, they started at the last known location of the kids, the huge T-Rex skeleton. "So let me get this straight, you left the kids looking at this extinct creature's skeleton?" Azura asked.

"Yeah." Mildred replied. "Barry was climbing up it while Alistair was watching him."

Azura narrowed her eyes at Mildred. "Wait, you let Barry climb up that?!"

"Can I climb up it?" Rockrick asked.

"Rockrick, no. Your rocky features could damage it." Azura replied before narrowing her eyes back at her friend. "While you went to look at your scroll, you just left two five year olds on their own?"

"Alistair is trusted on his own!" Mildred argued. "Besides, he doesn't wander off like Barry. Maybe he went to find him."

"I mean, possibly but didn't you say Barry was up there?" Azura pointed out. "How did he avoid Alistair without him noticing?"

"Azura! Mildred!" The teens turned around and saw Barry running towards them.

"Barry!' Tammy happily exclaimed before running up to him and hugging him. "You're okay!"

Azura marched up towards Barry while Mildred ran up to the kid. "Where's Alistair?" Mildred asked.

"He got taken out by a human with a great big bushy beard and a pair of glasses." Barry replied.

"What?!" Azura exclaimed.

"Did they catch you?" Mildred asked.

"No, I followed him back to his place by jumping on his worm and I ran back here as fast as I could." Barry replied.

"Barry, I have two important questions so I'll ask the first one, did you remember road safety?" Azura asked.

"Did you teach me that?" Barry asked.

This caused Azura some worry since she now just realised that Barry did not remember his road safety skills.

When they got outside the museum, they saw that there were cars all toppled on top of each other, some had even crashed into one another and there was a huge tanker truck on fire.

Azura took a glance at Barry with a shocked look. "Did you try to remember?"

Barry smiled. "Oh! I did on the last stop."

"Well, at least my teaching payed off 5%." Azura said.

"Enough patting yourself on the back, Barry, lead us to my brother…I mean, Alistair!" Mildred demanded while her cheeks turned red with embarrassment.

The young witchlet began to lead Azura, Mildred and the other witchlets to where Alistair was being held via running. But since he was around five, Azura and Mildred had to speed walk to try and not trample him.

"Is there anything else about that guy?" Azura asked the young boy.

"I don't know!" Barry replied. "He was pretty ugly and he kept going on about how he was going to save humanity and verify his MewTube account."

In that moment, Azura and Mildred groaned knowing who he was talking about. "Oh no! Not him!" Mildred groaned. "Why of all people did he need to capture Alistair?!"

Meanwhile in a basement in an undisclosed location, a terrified Alistair was strapped on an operating table by his limbs while someone walked around him.

It all happened so fast according to him. He got a sack to his head, thrown in the back of one of those human machines and strapped to a cold desk.

He cried in fear as he worried about never seeing his Dad and sister again as well as what horrors this human has prepared for him.

"Do not cry, abomination, it will be over." Jacob Hopkins said as he stepped out of the shadows with a scalpel in his hand. "This will be over shortly." After 26 years, Jacob was now middle aged. Somewhere in his mid to late 50's. Ever since losing his job at the historical society, he had become disheveled, he had become a little overweight, unkempt, had grown a big bushy white beard, hair and a few wrinkles on his face.

Alistair sobbed in fear. "I want Mildred! I want my Daddy!"

"I have waited too long for this moment!" Jacob exclaimed. "I have waited too long! I keep missing my chances of capturing that Basilisk and their human spouse, that witch and her human wife and that one witch who strangely looks like Caleb Wittebane!"

Alistair sniffled. "I don't…I….I don't want to die!"

"You won't!" Jacob said. "Until you tell me how you monsters keep coming into our world polluting our air! And I'm doing this to protect humanity and to verify my MewTube account!"

Alistair was at first terrified but then he became slightly less terrified after hearing Jacob's lousy excuse and instead just narrowed his eyes at him in annoyance.

"I do not fear you anymore." Alistair said.

"You should!" Jacob argued.

Back in the Demon Realm, the Hexsquad were still drinking through their cans. They had gone through a ton of them.

Amity could handle her's and was currently stroking Ghost, Luz was using her Palisman as a coaster, Gus was busy scrolling through Penstagram and Willow had a little too much Apple Blood and was passed out; Resting her head on her husband's lap while a lot of drool escaped her mouth.

Hunter smiled at his sleeping wife before he closed her jaw shut. But then, she reopened it. Hunter chuckled as he stroked his beautiful and stunning wife's forehead.

"Your pants are going to be covered in your wife's drool." Luz said.

"I don't mind." Hunter said. "She's drooled in worst places. Like, one time, I woke up in the early hours of the morning. It was like, I was floating in a huge tub of water. But it turns out, Willow had released a lot of drool that it caused our bed to be soaked." The whole Hexsquad laughed at the misfortune that had happened. "And the funny thing was, Willow changed the sheets 9 hours earlier." The group laughed even harder, but somehow not waking Willow.

"Hey Gus, when will the Human Realm trips be done?" Amity asked Gus. "Did you set Azura a time?"

"Well, I usually got back when I felt enough was taught, I feel Azura could be doing the same thing." Gus replied.

"Speaking of Azura, how are everyone's kids recently?" Hunter asked. "Amity, Luz, how are your kids?"

"Well, we know what happened with Azura." Luz responded. "She's going through what I went through with Stringbean. But she'll get there. I just hope she doesn't go through a lot of trauma and self doubt to realise it."

"What about Manny?" Hunter asked. "How is he doing?"

Amity decided to explain this one. "Well, Manny hasn't always been the most normal child…"

"Normal is an illusion anyway." Gus said.

"No, I mean, like a normal witch." Amity said. "He doesn't think before he says anything sometimes he doesn't look at me when he's talking and he has these little ticks when he's stressed. I did some research on it in the Demon Realm…"

"Is he cursed?" Gus interjected.

"I….I….I hope not." Amity replied.

"Amity, I told you, it's not a curse." Luz said.

"I know." Amity sighed. "So then, I realised that Manny is part human so I thought Manny could have something in him that stems from his human heritage that's when I found out that Manny might have something called autism. I'm not sure but I'm looking into it."

"Wait, what's autism?" Gus asked.

"It's complicated." Luz replied. "It's a mental condition that a majority of humans have. They sometimes aren't even diagnosed until a later age. Heck, they're sometimes diagnosed till adulthood."

"Plus, I heard that some autistic people suffer in school." Amity said. "It might explain why Manny took so long to get into Hexside."

"Well Sweet Potato, he is going and we couldn't be any more proud of him." Luz said. "How's your daughter, Hunter?"

Hunter sighed. "I feel I'm failing her."

"Awww! You're not." Luz said.

"You know how she's trying to gain her confidence?" Hunter hung his head down in shame. "I feel I'm taking it away from her."

"Why's that?" Gus asked his best friend.

"Because I get so protective of her." Hunter replied.

Luz grinned. "So? You're a parent. Protecting your child is what you're supposed to do."

"But what if it's running my kid's chances of succeeding?" Hunter asked.

"Has Willow said anything?" Amity asked.

"She tells me to be more encouraging like she is to her." Hunter replied. "I'll try, but my parental instincts might tell me otherwise."

"How about your kids, Gus?" Luz asked. "Has Mildred finally gotten used to you?"

Gus smiled. "Well, Alistair is still excitable and has a fascination with the Human Realm like I did when I was his age, but Mildred….." Gus sighed. "….She still won't refer to me as Dad or Alistair as her brother. I raised her for 12 years and….Yeah, it kind of hurts me when she doesn't call me dad."

Luz smiled at her friend. "Gus, Mildred is your adopted daughter, it takes time for them to recognise you as family."

"But twelve years, Luz!" Gus argued. "Twelve years!"

"Gus, you gotta be patient." Amity said. "She'll come around to acknowledge you and Alistair the family she never knew she needed."

"You're right." Gus said. "I just hope she's learning some kind of responsibility."

Meanwhile in the Human Realm, Azura, Mildred and the rest of the kids had arrived to where Jacob had taken the him.

"Is this the place, Barry?" Azura asked the witchlet.

"I'm sure." Barry replied.

"Hey Azura, I'm not responsible, but was it a good idea to bring the kids along?" Mildred asked while pointing to the rest of the kids. Riley was picking their nose, Rockrick was looking baffled, Tammy looked scared while Stu was picking some of those berries Azura told him not to consume.

"Well we can't turn back now." Azura said.

"Okay, what's the plan?"

"I could distract him with my crying!" Tammy replied.

"I can break in and rescue Alistair in five minutes flat." Rockrick said.

"How about I poison him?" Stu asked.

"Or maybe I can torture him to give them up." Riley said.

Azura stared at the young witchlet with a distressed look. "You're gonna grow up to be a killer aren't you? Okay, I might have a plan. I will just break in and save Alistair and take him out."

Mildred coughed. "Or….We do it like this?"

"Does it involve napping?" Azura asked.

"Azura, my bro…I mean, my Alistair….I mean Alistair, is in danger and I can't risk getting grounded by Mr Porter." Mildred replied. "But it does include standing around doing nothing but be on our scrolls. By the way, do you kids have scrolls?"

"Mildred, they're five, why would they have…." Suddenly, all the witchlets summoned their scrolls, causing Azura to be somewhat surprised. "Uh…."

Mildred nudged her best friend's shoulder. "I told you not to underestimate them."

Back in the basement, Jacob was sharpening his scalpel, ready to study Alistair if he didn't comply with his demands.

The five year old witch stared at the grown human with fear on his face. Tears fell from his eyes as he feared for the worst to come.

"Please! I want to see my daddy again!" Alistair cried.

"And you will…..When I returned your dissected corpse to him!" Jacob said as he raised his scalpel high. "MewTube account verification, here I come!" But before Jacob could make the first incision, he heard a knock on his door and groaned. "Okay, I guess this can wait. Don't move." He walked up the stairs that led out of his basement and straight towards the door. "What?! What?!" When he looked down he saw something that caused him to melt his heart.

He saw two little five year old kids. One of them looked scared and lost while the other was calmly holding a bag of berries. Turns out, it was Tammy and Stu pretending to be human children.

Tammy sniffled. "Please sir, help me and my brother. We're both lost."

Instead of being suspicious, Jacob was instantly worried for them. "Oh dear! You kids are lost?"

"We were separated from our parents." Stu said. "We need your help."

"Well, don't just stand there, come in and I'll help you." Jacob motioned the kids to come into his messy home which they did.

While getting in, Stu pulled the collar of his coat up so he could talk into his hidden scroll. "Stu to Barry, we're in."

Outside, Barry and Riley were hiding in a bush just across the street from Jacob's home since the two were on lookout.

"Great." Barry said before acknowledging Riley. "Barry to Riley, tell Rockrick to wait for noise protocol."

Inside the house, Jacob had sit the kids down on his very wet and sticky couch possibly due to all the sweating and take out food he had engorged in.

Tammy made a whine while Stu ate what appeared to be a very rotten pizza crust. "Gross."

Jacob approached the kids and put on a soft and kind face. Or, the best to his abilities because his smile ended up coming across psychotic. This caused Tammy a lot of discomfort that she began to cry.

Jacob immediately panicked. "Woah! Woah! Woah! No, it's okay! It's okay! I'm just not good with interactions."

"No Duh." Stu retorted.

"Look, you won't be staying with me for long. I just need to know the name of your parents." Jacob said.

Tammy held on to her legs. "I don't know their names."

"Do you know where you live?"

"I don't know!" Tammy screamed.

"Okay! Okay!" Jacob exclaimed, trying to defuse her. "I'm sorry! I'm sorry!"

"She gets easily scared, sir." Stu explained. "We apologise."

"Don't worry." Jacob assured him. "I only scare witches and demons which you two clearly aren't despite that weird cone shaped head you have. I mean, I've seen many humans with heads like that."

"Fair enough." Stu said before offering a bag of berries. "Berry?"

"Sure." Jacob took a couple of berries from the bag and ate them.

"Okay, take two." Stu said.

Then suddenly, they heard the sound of people clanging some pots and pans together. "Mad man! Mad man! Mad man! Town mad man!" Two kids chanted.

This made Jacob groan before he looked out the window to see two kids around Stu and Tammy's ages banging two pans against each other while chanting. "Mad man! Mad man! Town mad man!"

"No! No! No!" Jacob tried to unlock the door to his home but accidentally dropped his keys. "Hey! Hey! Oh crud!"

While they watched Jacob struggle to open the door, Tammy spoke into her scroll that was around her shoulder. "Weirdo is distracted."

On the other end, Azura was walking down the street with Mildred and her scroll in hand. "Ok. Thanks Tammy."

Meanwhile, Riley was still clanging pans together with Barry before they spoke into their scroll around their shoulder. "Riley to Rockrick, time to bust a vent."

Meanwhile, Rockrick was standing in the backyard of the house and staring at a vent. He nodded at the scroll before punching the vent and crawling in.

When he got out to the other side, he was inside the basement where he saw Alistair strapped on an operating table and smiled. "Alistair!" He happily exclaimed.

"Sssssshhhhh!" Rockrick responded. "I'm saving you." He noticed a few boxes conveniently placed close to a shelf and used them to create some stairs to help him climb up.

When he got on top, he used his magic to unstrap Alistair from his trap and managed to free him. "Now what?" Alistair asked.

"Now, we wait for your sister's next phase." Alistair stared at Rockrick in disbelief. "Yes, your sister has a plan to rescue you."

Meanwhile, Jacob was asking the kids questions not about their parents or where they came from, but his interests.

"Do you think I'd get my MewTube account verified?" He asked the kids.

"Perhaps." Tammy replied.

"Also, have you seen anything supernatural?" He asked.

"Uh….." The kids response made Jacob shrug his shoulders.

"Ya know, ghosts, goblins, demons, elves, griffins, humans with pointy ears and giraffes with retractable mandibles." Jacob said.

"Giraffes are evil!" Tammy exclaimed.

Jacob laughed. "Giraphobia. Rare phobia." Then he heard a knock on his door and opened it to see Mildred.

"Hey, have you seen my siblings?" Mildred asked.

"Mildred!" Tammy exclaimed happily before she and Stu jumped off the couch and ran towards her.

"Hey….Siblings!" Mildred exclaimed. "How are you?"

"This nice man took us in when we were separated from our parents." Tammy explained.

Mildred looked up at Jacob with a fake smile. "Thank you sir."

"You're welcome." Jacob said. "They kept me occupied besides my other guest in the basement. An animal."

"Aww, like a pet?" Mildred asked.

"Not really, I'm more…."

Suddenly, Alistair ran up the stairs and cheered. "Mildred!"

The sudden appearance of her so-called brother made her freeze with fear. "Uh oh."

Then, Alistair quickly ran under Jacob's legs and tackled his sister in a big hug. "You came to rescue me!"

Mildred looked between her happy so-called brother and the already angered Jacob. She laughed nervously. "I don't know this kid."

Then, Rockrick, now without his disguise, ran up the stairs, panting. "Sorry Mildred, I tried to stop him." This merely angered Jacob as he reached into his back and pulled out a crossbow.

"Woah! Woah! What is that rock thing?!" Mildred asked, though not convincingly.

"You…..Witches!" Jacob exclaimed angrily. "You were trying to take my scientific achievement away from me! And because of that, I will now shoot you in the head with my crossbow."

Mildred began to sweat. "You wouldn't kill a 15 year old child, would you?"

"I tried to kill a 14 year old beast known as a Basilisk, once." Jacob retorted.

"Monster!" Alistair exclaimed before summoning a fire spell and setting his pants on fire. He began to panic as he desperately tried to put it out.

"Ah! Ah! Ah!" He bounced about and did the stop, drop and roll. "Ahhh! Ahhh!"

Mildred was at first surprised but then smiled at her so-called brother. "Nice job, bro….I mean Alistair."

Alistair smiled. "Thanks sis."

The group ran out to meet Azura, who looked like she was ready to run. "Wait, did we not have time for me to distract him?"

"Nope." Mildred replied.

The half human turned to Alistair and smiled at him. "Hey, how you doing?"

"I was very scared until Rockrick burst in to save me from that butt head." Alistair replied.

Azura laughed. "He was a butt head. Alright kids, after today, I think we should all…"

"Not so fast!" Jacob interjected as he cocked his crossbow and aimed it at the group. "You're going nowhere!"

The kids stared at the man in fear while Azura narrowed her eyes at him. "Kids get behind me. Mildred…." Mildred got behind the kids and Azura before she could finish giving an order.

"Sorry Azura."

"Mildred!" Azura exclaimed before turning back to Jacob, whose pants were singed. She activated a fire spell and was holding a fireball in her hand. "You want to come anyway near these kids, I'll set your beard on fire."

Jacob grinned. "Well! Well! Well! If it isn't the part human and part witch freak!" He laughed. "You just couldn't resist messing with me, couldn't you?!"

"I'm surprised you recognised me." Azura said. "Guess that restraining order meant nothing."

"Wow, a lot of backstory." Mildred remarked.

"I hope we go into detail about that at some point." Stu said.

"Look Hopkins, you should get your leg checked out while me and the kids go back." Azura said. "They're just minding their own business."

"No! You were exploring my world so you could report to your superiors on Mars!" Jacob argued. "And plan your conquest of our planet so you can use our eye juices as soil for your alien crops!"

Azura just gave the man a deadpanned look. "Not even close, dude. Plus, how can fire and a crossbow be an exciting fight? You're going to lose."

Jacob smiled as he wiped some sweat from his forehead. "Ha! That's where you're wrong…." He began to stumble. "….I…..I…..I drowned my arrow…..In….Water….Spring….Water…" He dropped on his knees. "….I….I….I…." He dropped his crossbow before collapsing on his back, leaving a bunch of confused kids.

"Uh…."

"Is he dead?" Riley asked

"It hasn't been twenty minutes." Mildred said.

"He ate two." Stu responded.

"Huh?" Alistair asked.

"Oh, that's right, you didn't know our plan." Mildred said. "Okay, Tammy and Stu would enter Jacob's home to act as vulnerable children he'd have no choice but to take care of, then Stu would feed him a berry which would render him unconscious in twenty minutes, then Barry and Riley would cause a distraction while Rockrick would break through the vent and free you before I come in to act as Tammy and Stu's big sister before Azura would walk past causing Jacob to start chasing her while I break into the basement to free you and Rockrick and then we get home and I'm not grounded by Mr Porter."

Alistair looked at his sister with a surprised yet happy look. "You did this?"

"Eh." Mildred replied with a shoulder shrug. "Anyway, I wouldn't…." Then, Alistair attacked his sister with a hug, causing her to start stuttering. "No! No! No! No! No hugs! No hugs! We are never going to be at this point."

Azura laughed at the loving sibling relationship on display even though Mildred would definitely tell her otherwise. She felt someone yanking her by her pants and saw that it was Tammy.

"Are you going to be joining us for more Human Realm trips?" She asked.

Azura laughed and got down on her knees. "Oh Tammy, you have learnt so much from me. But you know what's the one thing I learnt from you?"

"What's that?"

"It's that this job is not for me and it's never going to help me find out what I want." Azura's response made Tammy stare at her with a perplexed expression.

But then the five year old witchlet shrugged her shoulders. "Okay!"

And so, the witches and witchlets returned to the Demon Realm after a fun yet traumatising day. They returned each witchlet to their respective home and explained how their day went.

Once they arrived at the Porter residence, Willow and Hunter had left leaving Luz, Amity and Gus. Azura explained to her moms and Gus that the job wasn't for her which they understood completely.

A few hours later, Gus was tucking his son to bed. He was smiling at his Dad's loving parental tenderness which he was scared he'd never see again. Titan, he was glad he was wrong.

"So, besides that traumatising experience, did you enjoy your trip to the Human Realm?"

"Yeah, Daddy." Alistair replied. "I loved it! It's so cool!"

Gus smiled. "Believe me, I know. I'm glad you like it. If you want, we could go together on my day off."

Alistair smiled at his dad. "Yeah!"

"But right now, you need some rest." Gus said. "You had a stressful day."

"Goodnight, Daddy." Alistair said before he and his Dad shared a kiss.

"Goodnight, son." Gus walked out of his son's bedroom and switched off the lights. Once he left his son's room, he noticed Mildred was standing there on her scroll. He narrowed his eyes and folded his arms at her. "You need to sleep too."

"Sorry I was just….." Mildred froze as she struggled to say the right words. "….I…Is Alistair okay?"

"He is." Gus replied. "He might need therapy but he's okay."

"Good." Mildred said before walking away. "Night, Mr Porter."

Gus smiled at his adopted daughter instead of being upset about not being called Dad, again. "Hey Mildred, I'm proud of you for rescuing your brother."

The witch sighed in annoyance. "He's not my brother. He's….A pal." She said before she walked into her bedroom.

Gus didn't say anything about Mildred referring to Alistair as her pal as opposed to her brother. Instead, he was slightly disappointed but relived that she was starting to see him as more than just another pest who happens to live with her.
