On an island somewhere far away from the Boiling Isles, an island filled with a huge forest that anyone could get lost in. Due to the sun flashing a strong wave of heat, the humidity of the forest was causing the leaves of some trees to sweat as well as some trees who had faces.

And in the forest, trekking through the mud and wiping some sweat away from their brow was someone wearing brown boots, beige shorts, a purple tank top and their hair tied in a ponytail. And right beside them was someone wearing some red overalls.

The one in red overalls was a male witch, slightly a bit overweight and with black hair and appeared to be trying to talk the explorer out of it.

"Miss, this is a dangerous mission." The witch pleaded. "Everyone who has entered the temple died a painful and cruel death."

"And how do you know that?" The explorer asked.

The man looked a bit flustered since he wasn't expecting that question. "Well….We assumed the worst when they didn't come back at all."

"I survived an apocalypse…" The explorer turned to the guide to reveal to be Amity Noceda. "….I can survive a few more booby traps."

They walked towards a huge cave with her guide whom still looked afraid. "Mrs Noceda, I heard rumours that the idol is on a pressure pad in case someone tries to steal it."

"And how do you even know this?" Amity asked.

"Well…Conflicting tales from our ancestors." The guide replied. "Some say it's guarded by baby goblins, some say it's covered in spiders."

"Your ancestors sounded like they couldn't decide on any kind of quirks, Talo." Amity remarked.

"True."

They walked into the cave slowly with Amity and Talo summoning a light spell so they could see. They had been walking for the last 30 seconds and so far there were no booby traps. So Amity decided to start a conversation with her guide.

"Hey Talo, do you know anything about someone being autistic ?" Amity asked.

"Sorry, what do you need to know about someone being artistic?" He asked.

But before Amity could reply, she accidentally stood on a pressure pad which caused a dart to shoot out of a hole that Amity quickly caught in-between her thumb and finger. This caused Talo to bite down on his hand in shock.

"Never mind." Amity replied before she got down on her knee to study the pressure pads. She pushed down on one of them, causing another dart to shoot out and to hit a skull that was impaled to a wall. "Did your ancestors ever place non pressure activated pads?"

"Well….They needed people to check on the idol so…There must be." Talo replied.

"Well, I don't have the time to check." Amity replied before she summoned her Palisman, Ghost which turned into staff mode. She jumped on the staff with Talo following. She flew over the pressure pads and landed in front of some lights shining on some random spots on the ground. "Hang on, I've seen this before."

"Oh, you've dealt with these before?" Talo asked.

"No, I've seen it in a movie." Amity replied before putting her hand in front of the light. This caused some spikes to shoot from the ground to reveal a rotting corpse.

Talo screamed at the sight of the rotting corpse while Amity just shrugged her shoulders. She picked up the corpse and noticed a logo on the back that looked like a witch dressed as a clown riding a unicycle.

"My brother's pranks are more realistic than this." She tossed it aside and summoned Ghost. "But still, those spikes look sharp."

"One of our ancestors that these spikes were…" Talo touched the tip of the spike and panicked when he realised he was bleeding from his finger. "….Aaaaahhhhh! Ow! Ow! Oh! That hurts! Why do I believe the words of my ancestors?!"

Then, Amity flew on her Palisman with Talo on the back holding on to her. They stopped when she made it to a wall that was blocking their way to the idol.

"A wall?!" Amity exclaimed.

"The idol is sacred after all." Talo retorted. Amity was about to punch the wall with her Abomination fist but then Talo stopped her. "Stop! Must you destroy it? That wall is sacred to my ancestors."

Amity groaned. "Is ancestors all you have in your vocabulary?"

"Uh…Forebears?" Amity nodded her head. "Okay, according to our forebears one of these bricks will open up to reveal the idol in front of you." Talo explained.

"Were there any contradictions?" Amity asked.

Talo shrugged his shoulders. "No."

Amity smiled. "Oh good." She carefully approached the wall and began to analyse the bricks on the wall. "Hmmmm." She noticed how one of the bricks had less cement and grinned. "I think I…" She pushed the brick, but it caused the ground below her to crumble and for her to fall in a deep hole.

Talo panicked and looked down in the hole for any sign of her. "Don't worry Mrs Noceda, I'll come help you as soon as I deal with annoying itch on my back." He looked behind him and saw that there were a ton of spiders crawling over his back. He began to panic and to run around in fear. "Spiders! Spiders! Spiders! Spiders!" He quickly ran toward a section of the cave where there was a doorway and into the deep darkness.

In the hole, Amity was laying on the wet ground, unconscious due to her fall. Her Palisman, Ghost, began to lick her to see if she was a wake but she began to laugh.

"Luz….Luz….I'm sleeping." Amity laughed. "Come on, Luz!" Ghost narrowed their eyes at their owner, already annoyed by the fact that she thought they were her wife and began to lick her harder. "Alright Luz, I'll put on the lau…" When she opened her eyes, she saw her Palisman and went wide eyed with embarrassment. Ghost stared at their owner with a deadpanned look on their face while Amity turned red in the face. "Um….How long was I out?"

Ghost held up all five paws which made Amity surprised. "One meow for hours and two for minutes." Ghost meowed twice which made Amity exhaled in relief. "Thank Titan." She looked around the cave she was stuck in with intrigue.

On the wall that was being emitted from a light coming from the hole that Amity fell through. It was shining on a drawing of a black stick figure blasting some kind of golden stick figure. She then noticed that there was some kind of ancient writing below the drawing.

She summoned a light spell and emitted the glowing circle that showed the ancient writing that she began to read aloud. "The power of the tablet of life will give life to those who lost it. Is it a resurrection tablet?"

Ghost tugged at the hem of her purple pants and pointed to a golden light. The golden light was coming from a tablet that was standing on a stone stand. This artefact made Amity's curiosity grew as she slowly approached it with a hint of caution.

When she got to a close distance, she began to analyse the artefact. She reached her hand out to take it and then pulled back. Though a bit hesitant, Amity thought she could help add another artefact for Lilith's exhibit so, she took the tablet and took a picture of the cave drawing with her scroll.

But then, she heard the sound of the cave rumbling and saw rocks falling from the ceiling which caused Amity some panic.

"Okay, Ghost, let's get out of here and find the idol." Amity declared before she jumped on them and managed to fly out of the hole while avoiding the rocks. P

When she got out of the hole, a giant rock fell from the ceiling and landed on the hole, which would have blocked the exit out if she didn't get out in time which she luckily did.

"Mrs Noceda!" She heard Talo scream.

"Talo!" Amity yelled out.

"I have the idol!" Talo said. "No time to know how I got it, get out!"

Amity did as he was told and jumped back on her staff and began flying towards the spiky floor which was now closing in on a spiky ceiling. She quickly flew through the spikes which were very close to closing in on her.

But unfortunately, her scrunched got caught in one of the spikes which caused her hair to flow freely. Then, she flew over the pressure pads and straight out the exit and tumbled off her Palisman.

She stood up, covered in dirt and webs where she wasn't just greeted by Talo, but a bunch of tribes people wearing loin cloth around their bodies and with spears at the ready.

Talo grinned as he shook a golden idol in his hand towards Amity. "Hi Mrs Noceda." Talo said before turning to the tribe. "Don't mind them, they're just here for the idol."

Amity knew instantly that Talo had betrayed her and wanted the idol all for himself. She narrowed her eyes at him before laughing. "So…You wanted the idol for yourself?"

"Not quite." Replied a voice. Out of the crowd came a grey haired woman in her mid 80's. She wore burgundy dress with a black belt and sleeves as well as puffs on her shoulders, in addition to orange pantaloons and high gray-and-black boots. A triangular emblem is present on her dress. She also wore pink-tinted eyeglasses. It was Flora D'splora, Lilith's arch rival.

"Mrs Noceda." She said.

"Flora D'splora." Amity sighed. "I assume you wanted the idol?"

Flora smiled. "Why of course. It's a priceless treasure after all. And I managed to convince Talo here to retrieve it for me." Talo handed Flora the idol whom grinned at her achievement.

"Having someone do dirty work for you isn't real archeology." Amity said.

Flora laughed. "Forgive me, for I am just an old woman. So I had to get someone like Talo to help."

"Too bad he and his tribe don't know you like I do." Amity said. "Maybe you could tell them, if you only knew how to speak their language." She turned to the tribe and turned Talo around to face them. "Tell them to bow to the idol." Talo tells his people to bow to the idol which they did.

Amity just narrowed her eyes at the woman and stood up. "Well, it was nice knowing you, Flora, I need to head back home to my wife."

"Okay, you do that." Flora responded. "I just need the tablet and we'll be done anyway."

In that moment, Amity held on to her sack with worry as she realised that Flora wasn't done yet. Flora unfortunately saw this and quickly put the pieces together.

Amity gave her a grin before quickly standing up and beginning to run away for her life. Flora soon commanded the tribe to chase after her which they did.

She held the idol in her hand and grinned sinisterly. "Don't worry. You'll be up and running in no time." She stared at the idol as it emitted a sinister glow that made Talo nervous.

In some Abomination airship on the lake, Matt Tholomue, construction worker/Amity's assistant, was waiting on board while on his scroll. Even in audit hood, his facial hair began to grow more prominent as he now had a beard which he really liked to stroke from time-to-time. He has a close working relationship with Amity as they shared many adventures with each other where they survived many traps.

"Look Gus, I don't know how to feel about all this." He said. "I mean, hiding our relationship in plain sight, I feel like we need to tell your kids about this at some point…..Uh, this is difficult Porter….Okay…Okay…I'll see you this weekend." He then began to grin flirtatiously. "Oooooooh, what will you be wearing, lover boy."

Meanwhile, Amity was running for her life while the tribe tried throwing stuff at her like spears, swords, arrows, hatchets, axes and even one of their babies.

"Who throws a baby?!" Amity exclaimed.

Back on the airship, Matt had stopped his phone conversation and was now reading a newspaper about sightings of a mysterious masked figure known only as The Spook.

Then, he heard the sound of Amity screaming coming from the distant. He saw her being chased by the tribe that were still throwing spears at her. She formed an abomination shield to try and defend herself in case one hit her.

"Matt! Matt!" Amity cried out. "Start the engine!"

Matt instantly tossed his newspaper on the floor and began to start the engine. The Abomination with the cat head made a growl as it began to take off in the air.

The explorer/Abomination builder, ran towards a cliff where there happened to be a rope vine. She jumped on the rope vine and swung straight on the airship.

When she got in, she saw that the tribes were now shooting poison darts out of some mini blow tubes but they didn't hit any of the important engines or Amity, whom quickly surrounded herself and Matt in an Abomination shield.

But thankfully, the airship managed to get to a high advantage where the tribe would not hit them or the ship.

When they got to a safe position, Amity deactivated her shield and walked toward the main flight deck. She pushed a few buttons and pulled a few levers as she began the flight to Bonesborough.

"We did it Matt!" Amity exclaimed. "Well…I mean, got out alive but I didn't get the idol." She reached into her sack and pulled out the tablet. "But I got this." When she turned to face Matt, she noted he looked a bit stiff.

Then, Matt collapsed on his face to reveal he had a ton of darts on his back. Amity panicked and began to check his pulse to see if he was okay. But then, she heard a groan and exhaled with relief.

"Oh, you're okay." Amity said.

"I…Hate darts." Matt said with a slur.

And so, another adventure ended with Amity flying back to Bonesborough to give the latest artefact to Lilith for the exhibit.
