In her bedroom, Azura was studying what looked to be biology of a Basilisk as a school assignment. She appeared to have answered a lot of questions so far. About how much magic they need, how many scales the average one has, the biggest shape they could change in to and how many teeth the average one has. But there was one thing that she was stuck on, how they reproduce. A lot of witches had asked basilisks that questions but unfortunately since they were resurrected by Belos, nobody knows.

She turned to her carved Palisman, Titan and picked it up. "I want to know everything?" But still, the Palisman won't come to life. "Come on, buddy!" She picked up a random flower that looked blue. "Uh! Do you think Forget-That-Nots would make a good gift for Hecate when she gets out of recovery? I mean, they're beautiful, but someone could have hexed this flower to make them forget something. I just hope they didn't hex it to make people forget."

Then, Luz entered her daughter's bedroom. She had only been back from the Healing House for a few days after the healing staff dealt with her stab wound and she was still in high spirits.

"Azura, are you coming?" Luz asked. "We don't want to keep Abuela, waiting."

Azura seemed baffled. "Coming to what?"

Luz sighed. "Of course, I knew you'd forget. Too much studying to be doing."

Azura began to panic as she gathered a lot of her stuff. "Oh Titan! Titan! Titan! Wait, what's going on?!"

"The Noceda Family barbecue." The Human Witch replied. "The annual family event we go to every year where you just study and don't interact with anyone."

Azura looked baffled. "Why are you reminding me of something I know about?" Azura asked. "It seemed very expositional."

Luz shrugged he shoulders. "I don't know. Maybe I was telling your Palisman that as well."

"Look Mami, I know I'm supposed to interact, but this is a huge test!" Azura argued. "It's about Basilisks and their biology. And I just have one question left: How do they get pregnant?"

"Well, that's gonna be an awkward talk with you and your Aunt Vee." Luz remarked.

"Do you know Mami?" Azura asked.

"I never wanted to be rude so I never asked." Luz replied. "And quite frankly, I don't want to share any kind of disturbing thoughts I have about that possibility."

"Oh! I have theories!" Azura said as she pulled out a notebook. "I could share them."

"Whatever you have written down, burn it." Luz suggested. "And get your stuff. We're going in a bit."

Downstairs in the living area, Manny was busy reading some Professor What graphic novel on the couch. Amity was watching from the kitchen looking at her son with a massive amount of guilt on her face.

Ever since she didn't handle the situation to his mental breakdown properly, her own son had been very distant with her even after Luz recovered from her injury. She felt like such an awful mother.

So, she decided to casually get on the couch to communicate with her son. But then, he slammed the graphic novel shut and got off the couch.

"And I'm done with that one." Manny declared before getting off the furniture and walking away.

When he left, Amity sadly sat down on the couch and exhaled. She noted that he didn't even finish the graphic novel at all. He left when he was sensing her arrival.

She turned to her Palisman. "Ghost, having kids is worth it, but….Seriously, don't have any if you aren't any good at it."

Luz and Azura entered the living room. "Uh…Where's Manny?"

Manny ran back in the room with no graphic novel in hand. "Are we going, Mami?" Something that made Amity frown.

"In a minute Mijo. The house sitter is just running late." Luz replied. "And I am missing the manuscript of my next book." Stringbean slithered onto her owner's shoulder and hissed. "Oh, you have it in you? Thanks little buddy." She stroked her Palisman's chin, causing them to hiss.

"Is that even hygienic?" The disgusted Azura asked her Mom.

"I….Don't know." Amity replied.

They then heard a knock on the door which Luz answered. On the porch was King, moaning. "Oh yeah. Higher, a little higher."

This situation was awkward for everyone. Azura helped Manny cover his eyes while Amity looked disgusted.

Luz just gave her brother a smile. "Back still itchy?"

King noticed that his surrogate sister was in front of him and smiled. "Oh yeah! Sorry. My back itches have started getting worse. Almost painful like. I tried everything from itching, moisturising cream from the Demon Realm and Human Realm and even some numbness potion. So, now I have my next solution."

Ronda then shoved him aside. "Yo, I better have some snacks in the fridge." When she entered the house, everyone noticed that she didn't seem to have her hands.

This baffled everyone until King entered the house to see that her hands were on his back, scratching it. "I had to resort to this."

"Fair enough." Luz said. "Okay, King. The fridge has plenty of snacks, make sure nothing gets broken and be careful not to set the living room on fire."

"Sister, I don't need to keep an eye on the house, it's Ronda." King said.

"If I find one artefact from this house stolen, I'm gonna put her head in a jar." Amity said.

"Now go ahead to your barbecue." King said to the family as they walked out of the house with the mother's respective Palismen. "And bring a few of those breadsticks! They might help with the pain."

"Oh king, don't be so, kneady."

King laughed at Luz's pun while Azura and Manny just cringed. "Oh, cringe." Manny said.

Once the Nocedas left their home and walked though the portal, King sat down on the couch to put on some kind of soap opera while Ronda's hands continued to scratch him.

But then, the itch on his back started to hurt for whatever reason. Like, it wanted to burst out of his body. "Ow! Ow! Ow!" He then heard a loud clang coming from the kitchen and sighed. "What has she done?"

King walked into the kitchen to see Ronda standing by the fridge with a bunch of broken glass around her. He folded his arms and narrowed his eyes at his sister while she looked frustrated.

"What?! It's not my fault I have no hands!" Ronda argued.

Meanwhile in the Human Realm, Vee, in her human form, and her spouse, Masha had just arrived outside of the Noceda residence porch with some food in their hands.

"Okay, have we got the coleslaw?" Vee asked.

"Check."

"The drinks?"

"Check."

"Oh, and those breadsticks?"

"Definite check." Masha replied.

"Man, I can't wait for this." Vee said. "I feel like I haven't eaten anything at all. Wait, Masha, when I was in my freak state, did I eat?"

"You mean every meat product we had?" Masha responded.

Vee laughed nervously. "Sorry."

The door opened to reveal Camila whom was happy to see them both. "Aahhh! Ven aquí y dame boletos querida." She kissed her daughter and her enby-in-law.

"Hey Mom." Vee said.

"Vee! I'm surprised you made it." Camila said. "Masha told me you were acting feral. Is everything okay? You aren't going to cut my cousins or nephews or nieces or my siblings or my tias or…"

"Mom!" Vee interjected. "I was just having a bad few weeks for some reason. But everything is cool now."

"Just a few scratches on the back, stomach, legs and p…"

"Thank you!" Vee interjected. "Let's go inside."

Camila took the coleslaw out of Masha's hand and they began to walk to the garden where everyone was having the barbecue.

At one point, Vee stopped when she felt a strange feeling in her stomach. She looked down and noticed that her stomach was bubbling like boiling water. This made her a bit worried. "Okay. Okay. What's going on? Was the curry I had that bad?"

A man with a grey beard walked past. "I hope not. Believe me, bad idea to give it to your boss."

"Thanks for the tip, Tio Joel."

When Vee made it outside she was seeing a gaggle of Nocedas in the moderately sized back garden. Many adults, kids, elderly members and middle aged people. A lot of them were mostly cousins, but a lot of them were aunts, uncles and only one Abuela. Many of them were having conversations, mainly the adults; While the kids were running about, chasing each other.

Vee walked toward her spouse whom was chatting with one of the Nocedas. A woman with short hair. "So at the museum, we recently put in an exhibit for the prehistoric period. Rumour has it that one of the skeletons we have is actually real."

The woman, whom was in her late twenties, had no idea what to say. "We have a new coffee machine at work." Miranda Noceda was the youngest of Luz's, Uncle Joel. Her current job is a barrister at a small coffee shop and knew Luz and Vee ever since she was a baby.

"Hey Cousin Miranda, did you get a new coffee machine?" Vee asked.

"We did, Vee." Miranda replied. "It's not like the other one."

"Is Amy here?" Vee asked.

"I heard she wasn't coming." Miranda replied. "She has a client."

"Oh, thank goddess!" Masha exclaimed with relief. "I swear if I see her bragging about her lawyer job again, I'm gonna dunk her head in the coleslaw." The three laughed.

"So, have you two tried having kids yet?" Miranda asked. Vee and Masha were about to respond but then Camila thankfully got everyone's attention.

"Okay, everyone!" Camila called out to her entire family. "Luz, Amity and their kids are arriving soon. Now, I want you to be extra kind to her and give her, her personal space. I know a lot of you were worried for her."

"Is she dead?!" One of the kids asked.

"No she's not, Kevin!" The other kid said.

"Be extra mindful for her, please!" Camila pleaded.

Then, they heard the sound of people coming from the house and it was Luz, Amity, Azura and Manny. "Hola, Nocedas!" Luz exclaimed.

Everyone saw Luz and instantly cheered. "Luz!"

"Mija!"

Miranda screamed. "Luz!"

The news of Luz being stabbed had spread around the Noceda clan. Though some details were emitted so the Demon Realm wouldn't be discovered.

Many of the Nocedas, including Miranda surrounded Luz in order to know if she was okay. "Did it hurt?"

"Are you okay?"

"Did you see the light?"

"Are you dead?"

"Was death nothing but eternal darkness?"

Luz looked extremely comfortable with the attention. "Well…."

Azura was also uncomfortable. "Can you guys just leave?"

Amity got in front of her wife when she saw how uncomfortable her son was getting from the attention. He was patting his head with his fingers which was a sign that he was getting stressed.

"Hey! Hey! Give her some space!" Amity demanded with a stern stare. Thankfully, the Nocedas knew when her wife gave them, the death glare, they knew when to back off. Thankfully, they did.

"Sorry."

"Apologies."

"Lo Siento."

Camila approached her daughter with a sorry look. "Mija, I'm so sorry. I told them and…Well, it got out of hand."

"Mama, it's okay." Luz assured her mom. "I'm happy that many people were so worried but I'm just glad to still be alive." She and Camila shared a huge hug. "But, I am gonna get a new scar from it."

Camila let go of her daughter and moved on to Amity. "Mija." She planted a kiss on Amity's cheek as the two shared a hug. "Thanks for being there for her. You are an amazing wife and mother."

"Yeah, amazing mother." Amity looked unsure as she looked at her son whom was busy concentrating on every guest here, as if he was trying to remember their names.

"Okay, that's Jake, that's Mirabel, that's Uncle Joel, that's…Which one is that one?" Manny asked.

"And where are my little nietos?" Azura and Manny began to hug their Abuela back. "Oh, and how are you?"

"Great!" Azura replied.

"Trying to remember all my relatives." Manny replied.

"Ouch." Said a middle aged man walking past.

"Was that a cousin or an aunt?" Manny asked.

Luz narrowed her eyes at her son. "Manny!"

Camila let go of her grandkids. "Okay kids, go and mingle and feast. The buffet table is on." Manny and Azura run off to mingle and talk. "Oh, and make sure to save some for everyone and do your best to not look uncomfortable with the relatives you don't know!"

When everyone was mingling and chatting with each other, Azura was trying to chat with some of her young cousins while drinking a cup of soda. Her cousins were Kevin and his little sister, Rosa. Since she didn't know them well, they were just staring at each other.

"Why do you have your ears covered?" Rosa asked.

"Um….." Azura looked unsure how to respond to that. Since her and her Mom had to cover their ears with their hair so no one wouldn't know. Thankfully, Manny had human ears.

"Uh, this soda is flat!" Kevin exclaimed. "Someone kept this in the fridge for too long."

"Man, I wish you kids had a Grandy like Raine." Azura whistled in her cup to bring back the fizz to her drink which made her exhale once she drank a bit.

Her cousins stared at her like she were weird. "You actually like flat soda?" Kevin asked.

"You're weird." Rosa remarked.

At one point, Manny was busy talking to some of her relatives about Professor What. "And then, due to some legal disputes, Sylvester McCaine left the role, leaving it on a seven year hiatus. Then, it came back in 1996 for a TV movie where they try and stop the fake event known as the Y2K…." During Manny's talk, some of the family left to do other things. Great Uncle Bruno went to talk to Joel about his daughter, Manny's 33 year old cousin, Gina backed away; While Manny's youngest cousin, Amelia was listening.

Manny stopped talking when he noticed his cousin was listening. "Why are you still here? Everyone left?"

"I like listening." Amelia replied with a cute little toothless smile.

Manny shrugged his shoulders. "Okay. So…."

Amity approached her son. "Hey Manny, do you want a drink?" She showed a her son a picture of a drink. "Or a snack?" She showed her son a picture of what looked like a bowel of potato chips. Instead of responding, Manny just narrowed his eyes at his mother who just cringed. "Or….Do you want me to leave you alone?" She showed a picture of someone leaving a room.

"I don't think he needs pictures to know, Amity." Amelia replied.

Amity saw the frustration on her son and walked away. She wanted to yell at him for not communicating back to her, but she knew she'd be making a commotion during this lovely day.

She walked towards Camila, whom was cooking by the stove with Luz's Uncle Joel. Uncle Joel was Manny's half brother from Columbia whom Luz rarely saw but got excited when he came around.

"Anyway, I was pleading Amy to come but ya know, being a hotshot lawyer, she thinks she can just skip out on everything." Joel said.

Camila sighed. "Joel, your daughter is disrespectful. When my daughter became an author, she never missed out on us."

Joel sighed. "Well, that's my daughter."

Amity walked past the grill looking sad which didn't go unnoticed by Camila. She always knew when someone wasn't feeling themselves and knew she needed to talk with her. "Joel, do you mind watching the grill?"

"Not at all."

Camila walked towards Amity, whom was standing by getting a few salads for her kids for when the burgers and hot dogs were ready.

"Amity, is there something wrong?" Camila asked her daughter-in-law.

Amity knew there was no use into lying to Camila since she always knew when someone was having a problem. "Camila, Luz was never considered normal, right?"

"Not in a human sense." Camila replied.

"How were you able to handle it? How have you never got frustrated with her?" Amity asked.

Camila laughed. "You think raising a child is easy?"

"No." Amity replied.

"I got frustrated with Luz a lot when she was young." Camila replied. "But that was usually when she did something reckless or when she was a little too loud. Are you having troubles?"

"I had those problems before." Amity replied. "But ever since I found out Manny had this….Thing, I feel I'm struggling. I try communicating with him via the ways Dr Waybright told me but they just seem to anger him."

"Have you tried talking to him like he was a person?" Camila asked.

"I did before." Amity said. "But I was afraid my old methods weren't working with him so I tried the methods Dr Waybright suggested. I tried exaggerating my movements and I tried to show a visual representation. But all I get are disgusted looks."

"Okay…Maybe he feels that you're treating him like he can't communicate at all. Like, he's not exactly bright. Like he's an alien from another world."

"But he isn't, he's my son!" Amity argued.

"Try showing him that he is." Camila said. "That way you can have a much healthier relationship."

Amity stared at her son whom was now talking to his Great Uncle Joel about something and sighed. She was about to walk toward him to talk, but she thought that giving him some personal space was a better idea. Until she feels he is ready to talk to her.

Meanwhile, Luz was showing her little cousins the scar she had on her stomach. "See? That is my scar." The kids were in awe over this.

"Woah!"

"So cool!"

"I want a scar like that! Someone stab me!"

Luz chuckled nervously. "Nah, I wouldn't do that my little primos."

"But you're so cool!" One of the cousins exclaimed.

Luz gave an awkward smile. "Thanks but getting killed isn't cool. Believe me, I know."

"Who wants to play tag?!" The kids started to run around before Luz could respond.

"Hey! No fair!" Luz exclaimed. "I hadn't even responded!"

Vee and Masha watched the little kids playing around with Luz with a hint of sad jealousy on their faces.

"How can your family have so much kids?" Masha asked.

Vee sighed. "I don't know."

"No really, how can they?" Masha asked. "I mean one is enough, a ton is probably gonna cost a lot more money and more stress!"

A woman who looked to be in her late 40's walked on the couple with a crying baby in her hand. "Why did I decide to have a seventh kid?"

Azura approached her Aunt Vee with some papers in her hands. "Hey Aunt Vee."

"Oh hey Azura, are you working on something?" Vee asked.

"Working and interacting." Azura replied. "I've been practicing some of my magic here."

"Azura, that's a little risky." Masha reminded their niece. "Imagine what could happen if someone saw you. Especially Cousin Amy whom thankfully isn't here."

"Don't worry." Azura said. "I was doing that little flavour manipulation Grandy Raine taught me. I did it with all the soda here to add a lot of fizz. But people refuse to drink it because I think they think I might have spat in every cup. Oh Aunt Vee, I'm currently doing some homework on Basilisk biology and I'm just stuck on one final question."

"Fire away."

"How can Basilisks reproduce?" Azura asked. "Is there like a birds and the fire bees method? Or some way to shape change their body in order to…." Azura stopped when she saw that her Auncle Masha looked like was tearing up. They wiped some tears away and walked away from their wife and niece.

Vee was about to follow but stopped when she felt a pain in her stomach. Whereas Azura realised what she did and gave Vee an empathetic look.

"Oh, Aunt Vee, I am so sorry." Azura said with regret. "I have no idea this was still a sensitive topic with you."

"It's fine, Azura." Vee said.

"I just thought you might have known….Because all the other Basilisks don't." Azura explained.

"It's fine." Vee assured her, though a few tears were falling from her eyes. "It hurts to be reminded sometimes. But at least you're sensitive to the problem."

"Hey, have Vee and her spouse had a kid yet or what?!" Yelled an obnoxious female voice.

Vee groaned. "Unlike some other people."

Coming into a garden was a professional looking Hispanic woman in her late thirties to mid forties. She was dressed in high heels, a blouse, a black jacket and had her hair in a ponytail. It was Cousin Amy, the hotshot lawyer of the family.

She walked in the backyard without a care in the world. Like everything she touched, she owned. The mere sight of her made Amity and her wife narrow their eyes, Azura to look annoyed, Masha to put pressure on the plastic cup they were holding, Manny to look indifferent and Camila to pull a nervous smile.

"Can't believe I'm here today! My client had to drop out due to some stupid excuse. A car accident." She complained. She then noticed that Luz was there and looked indifferent. "Oh Luz, you're here. I thought you died or something."

"I was stabbed." Luz said to her cousin.

"But did you die?" Amy asked before walking towards Joel.

"Mija…" Joel walked towards his daughter with his arms out. "…I'm glad you could make it."

"I'm only here because I had nothing better to do." Amy said, without giving her father a hug. "And if you think I'm receiving a hug from your greasy hands then you're wrong. Amity, why is your hair still purple?"

"I like it this way." Amity replied with her arms folded, already getting tired of her wife's cousin.

"Well, I don't." Amy said. "And isn't your son a weirdo?"

"No, I'm autistic." Manny replied.

"Oh, you hear that? He's an artist. Oh and Azura…Whatever, I have nothing to say."

"Good, because I didn't wanna hear it." Azura retorted.

"You know just because you're a hotshot lawyer, doesn't mean you need to test everyone in your family like garbage." Miranda said to her sister.

"I do." Amy argued. "Now, Papa, give me a burger. I'm famished!"

Amity narrowed her eyes at Amy with a scowl. "Luz, if I punch her in the face someday, would you divorce me?"

"I'd marry you all over again." Luz assured her wife before pecking her cheek.

"And if someone puts grease on this suit or any kind of object that makes a stain, then so help me, I will scream!" Amy exclaimed.

Azura grumbled. "What an insensitive human."

"I know." Vee agreed before she began to groan again. She held on to her stomach, which was something her niece noticed.

"Aunt Vee, are you okay?" Azura asked before she noticed what was wrong. She could see that Vee's stomach was bubbling again. "What's the matter with your stomach?"

She was about to scream but covered her mouth with her hand so no one would notice her outburst. But Azura did notice something, her skin was beginning to look more reptilian.

"Aunt Vee, your skin!" Azura exclaimed.

Vee looked at her hand and saw the scales appear on her human skin. "Ah! Get your Auncle! Bathroom!" She began to run toward the house, doing her best to not look suspicious in front of her family. She luckily got inside just as her tail began to show.

She thankfully got to the bathroom and slammed the door shut, in time for her to turn into her basilisk form.

She withered and squirmed along the bathroom floor as she held on to her bubbling stomach which was getting more bubblier. She wailed in pain as she looked at it. "What's happening to me?!" She screamed in pain. "What's coming out of me?!"

Her spouse managed to find their wife in the bathroom and slammed the door shut. "Vee?! Vee?!" They stopped when they saw what was going on.

"Masha! Help!"

But Masha had no idea what to do, so they took their wife's hand in theirs as tears began to fall from her eyes. "Vee! Vee! What do you want me to do?!"

"Get it out of me!" Vee yelled.

"Get what out of you?!" Masha was confused but then saw something that horrified them. "W-What's that coming out of you?!"

Back in the Demon Realm, King was snacking with Ronda on potato chips while watching some soap opera on the orb. Or a cartoon they were calling a soap opera.

"So…Let me get this straight, this witch is supposed to save the future, right?" Ronda asked her brother.

"Yes."

"But in order to do that she needs to kiss her best friend who she happens to like, but he is in a relationship with someone she isn't too fond of while her best friend/love interest's little sister now wants to kiss her?" Ronda asked.

"Took the words right out of my mouth." The Titan replied.

"It's a love rectangle." Ronda stood up. "I'm going to find a huge bottle of apple blood." She drank some of the elixir she had in her hair.

King positioned himself so that way he could get some kind of comfort from sitting on the couch. He exhaled with relief. "Ah, so glad this itching stopped. I don't know what I'd do if it continues." Then, something on his back began to happen. It was like someone set him on fire. "Ow. Ow! Ow!"

But then the burning began to feel like something was burrowing out of his skin. "Aaaaahhhhh!" King screamed as he fell off the couch. "What's happening to me?!" His screams weren't ignored by Ronda, whom instantly ran back in the room with a pretzel in her mouth.

She spat it out. "King! What's going…."

"Stand back!" King yelled. "I…..AAAAAAAHHHHHH!" King screamed as the something that was coming out of his back began to sprout.

Ronda stood back as the thing that came out of her brother's back began to grow bigger and began to cover its shadow over her. When the thing eventually stopped after an agonising few seconds, Ronda was just surprised. "Woah! I wish I had my scroll for this!"

Back in the Human Realm, everyone was still outside enjoying the barbecue. But Vee and Masha hadn't returned from the bathroom for whatever reason which was worrying a handful of the family members. Except for Cousin Amy whom was having a phone call with a client.

"Look, the trial is in three weeks don't worry about it." She said. "It's not my fault Pines is as stubborn as a mule who is stuck behind a brick wall who refuses to come out even though its owner is trying to rescue it…..I don't care that the metaphor doesn't make sense!"

The Nocedas shook their heads in displeasure of her once again, being a nuisance to every one of her family members.

Azura and her mother grumbled. "Mom, can I punch her?"

"Do it and I'll pretend to ground you." Amity replied.

Then, Camila walked up to the two with a very concerned and worried look on her face. "Azura, Amity, have you seen Vee and Masha, I haven't seen them for a while. Have they left early?"

"Wouldn't blame them." Amity said as she narrowed her eyes at Amy whom was complaining about a soda not being fizzy enough.

"Last I saw, Aunt Vee's stomach was bubbling and she was turning into her Basilisk form." Azura explained.

Camila gasped. "Oh no!"

"Don't worry, Auncle Masha has her." Vee assured her Abuela. "She's probably just sick."

"Yeah, hopefully." Camila sighed with relief. "She's so lucky to have them."

Suddenly, Camila was getting a phone call from her phone and answered. "Hello?"

"Camila, it's me, Masha."

"What's the matter?" Camila asked. "Do you need cards?"

"It's not that." Masha said. "It's….It's best if you come and see. It's urgent."

Camila nodded her head and hung up on her phone. She began to march towards the house and toward the bathroom with a baffled Amity and Azura following behind.

"Abuela, what's going on?" Azura asked her grandmother.

"Is Vee okay?!" Amity asked with worry for her sister-in-law.

"I'm not sure." Camila said. "But whatever's going on, we have to make sure nobody's following."

But unfortunately, Cousin Amy noticed this. "What is going on with them three?" She was about to follow but then groaned. "Actually, I don't care. Yo, Luz! Your wife, daughter and Mom are going inside the house. I think your sister has the bubble guts or whatever."

Luz whom was playing with her cousins, looked baffled by what her cousin had informed her. "Huh?"

Then, she got hit on the face by a water balloon. "Watch out!" One of the kids yelled a little too late.

Meanwhile outside the bathroom, Camila knocked on the door. "Vee? Masha?"

"Is anyone there outside?" Masha asked.

"No." Camila assured them. "Just Amity and Azura. They're worried for you."

"Okay, they can come in." Masha replied. "But whatever you do, do not scream. Can you try and not scream for whatever you're about to see?"

The three gave each other some concerned stares as they reluctantly entered the bathroom to prepare themselves for whatever they were about to witness. Amity even readied an Abomination fist just in case it could be a threat.

But when they entered the bathroom, they were so surprised by what they saw that Amity screamed. Because in front of them, was an exhausted looking Vee wrapping her arms around what appeared to be a turquoise egg, the size of the grill Camila was using outside.

Masha shushed their sister-in-law aggressively. "What did I just say?!"

Azura had no words to what she was seeing, Camila was shocked and Amity was just in silent shock. But Masha looked like they were trying to process things while Vee had an exhausted smile. The basilisk finally acknowledged her family with a smile on her face.

"Mom, me and Masha, are having a baby."

There was still silent shock coming from everyone who couldn't quite believe their eyes. "What am I supposed to say about this?" Azura asked. "I'd say congratulations but…This is just too unexpected."

Camila eventually managed to pull a smile on her face. "Ohhhhhh, Mija!" Camila approached her daughter and enby-in-law and pulled them in for a massive hug. "I can't believe it! You two are going to be parents!"

Masha gave an uncomfortable laugh. "Camila, not so loud, please."

"Someone is gonna burst in and find out." Vee said.

But then, Luz burst into the bathroom with an excited smile on her face. She screamed with extreme joy. "You mean I'm going to be a Tia?!"

"Luz!" Vee exclaimed. "Cállate, alguien podría oírnos."

Luz pressed her hand on her mouth to stop herself from causing a ruckus. "Sorry! Sorry! Amity, Vee has laid an egg!"

"I can see that, Luz." Amity said to her wife.

"Azura…"

"Yes Mami, I can see it." Azura said before going to think. "Wait, how did this happen?"

"I don't know." Vee replied. "My gut was bubbling and the next thing I know, this ginormous thing shot out of me."

"It's very big for an egg." Luz remarked.

"I mean, makes you wonder how big the baby could be." Azura was about to touch the egg but then, her Aunt Vee hissed and tried to scratch her niece.

"Vee?!" Masha reacted in shock.

Amity go in defensive position and jumped in front of her daughter. "Vee?!"

Vee hissed at her family, who only began to stare at her with confused fear. "Stay away!"

Masha began to slowly approach their wife with their hands raised in defence. "Vee, it's just your family."

Vee's feral look quickly vanished and she looked around in baffled confusion. "What happened?"

Masha got on their knees while touching the egg. "You got a little defensive towards your niece when she tried touching the egg."

Luz noticed Masha touching the egg and looked confused. "Wait. If Azura almost got attacked by touching the egg, then why is Masha touching the egg?"

Luz began to approach the egg which caused Vee to once again get feral again. "Back off, beast!"

Luz backed away toward the door, causing Azura and Amity to get in defence positions. "Ay dios mios!" Camila exclaimed in shock. "Vee, why did you do that?"

Vee's feral face vanished and it went back to timid. "I don't know. It just happened naturally."

"Then, why isn't it happening to me?" Masha asked. "Do you not have the urge to attack me?"

"Look, it doesn't matter." Amity said. "We have to get the egg back to your home before anyone notices."

"Right away!" Masha said. "Vee, do you think you're strong enough to carry it?"

Vee tried to lift the egg but it was too heavy for her. "I don't think so. I'm a little weak from giving birth to it."

"Okay, I'm gonna roll this egg into our car while the kitchen and living room are still empty." Masha explained to their wife.

"It's good thing it's nice and sunny outside." Luz remarked. "There's no way our family will want to come back inside." But unfortunately, Luz spoke too soon as she heard the sound of thunder from outside the house.

"Everyone get inside!" Joel could be heard yelling from the outside, causing every Noceda in the backyard to panic.

"Maybe they'll run into the shed?" Masha said, though uncertain.

But in actuality, every Noceda was inside the house judging by the sound of feet, conversations and Any complaining about whatever.

Everyone whom was in the bathroom froze in shock since this threw a bone in their plans. Since Vee can't use her shapeshifting abilities and everyone will see her Basilisk form and pushing the egg through the kitten will make everyone suspicious to what it is.

"Well, I think we have a problem." Luz remarked.

Back in the Demon Realm. At the former palace of Emperor Belos which had been converted into a less ominous castle. Its blank colours from before were replaced with a more rainbow aesthetic just like the Pride flags on Earth. And as opposed to spikes at the bottom, it was replaced with all sorts of plants. Including the witch eating ones, just in case some pro-Belos witches fell in.

It was also the headquarters of The Nine Witch Administrators. Sometimes known as the diligents, governors or just plain tyrants to the Pro-Belos supporters.

This included Edalyn Clawthorne, Raine Whispers-Clawthorne, Lilith Clawthorne, Darius Deamonne, Eberwolf Hookclaw, Steve Tholomue, Katya Tholomue, Amber Hamber and Derwin Gerwig. Hooty was also there simply because he goes where Lilith goes.

The council was currently sitting in a round circle on some seats with red cushions having a meeting about recent events.

"So, what I've been hearing, that Hecate girl has left the Healing House and shall be able to return to Hexside." Lilith explained.

"Oh that's good!" Amber exclaimed happily. "And I assume that's all."

"We're here for a very gloomy reason, Hamber." Darius reminded her.

The reminder caused her to groan. "Why?!"

"Thank to your reckless granddaughter, Clawthorne, we thankfully know that The Bane wants the Branding Glove." Darius explained. "But thankfully, they're destroyed."

"All because I ate every blueprint and made it snow blue!" Hooty exclaimed.

Darius just sighed at Hooty's mere presence. "Uh. Of course you did."

Lilith then stood up to explain what happened while Derwin and Katya projected illusions of the idol and the tablet that were now in possession of the Province. "We also find out that they have the Idol of the Aitnetop and a tablet that can bring life to statues."

"If I were cynical, I'd say that sounds like some kind of fantasy movie." Steve remarked. "But I'm not and it sounds like a cool artefact."

Raine then stood up while Derwin and Katya projected illusions of Province members. Which included Odalia, ,Lueb, Jakob, Terra, Tibbles, Adrian, Flozz, Flora and Kikimora. "Thanks to our sources we also found out about a lot of the members." Then, illusions of the Bane and the Spook were projected. "But unfortunately, we have no details on who these two are. So we need to keep an eye out on them two for when they show up. Which will be inevitable. So, let's put all our…"

Then, a crow appeared behind Eda as Raine spoke. "Mom!"

The sudden appearance of the crow phone made everyone jump. "Oh! What does your daughter, what, now?!" Darius exclaimed in annoyance.

Eda answered the crow phone. "Ronda, what is it? Are you locked up again? I'm a little busy right now. I'll send either your Aunt Lilith or Darius to bail you out."

"What?!' Darius and Lilith exclaimed in shock.

"You know me and your Zizi have an important…"

"Mom! You have to get to the Noceda residence as soon as possible! Something's happened to King!"

Eda could tell through the desperation in her voice that this was no joke. Even after every crime her daughter had committed, she knew when she was actually being honest. "I'm on my way!" She hung up on the phone. "Raine, Lilith, something's wrong with King."

Raine and Lilith pulled worried looks. "How do you know Ronda isn't lying?"

"She's my daughter, Lilith." Eda retorted. "Try raising kids sometimes as opposed to Hooty."

"Hey! But I am a kid! I'm a big boy, demon!" Hooty exclaimed.

"No time to argue!" Eda transformed into Harpy form with Lilith doing the same while Raine summoned their Palisman, Fiddlesticks. "Hooty, you're in charge while we're gone!"

"What?!" Darius exclaimed. "Why him?!"

"No time to explain, he's in charge! Bye!" Eda, Raine and Lilith left to deal with whatever King was having, leaving Hooty in charge.

"Okay folks, I think our first order of business is to find all the bugs I can eat!" Hooty said. "Also, we should make the seats more round. Let's get some round seats!"

The members had very Um pleased reactions to Hooty being left in charge. Darius sighed in annoyance. "I think she left him in charge to annoy us."

"It is Eda after all." Steve reminded him.

Later, Eda, Lilith and Raine had arrived outside the Noceda residence where they saw Ronda outside, drinking her elixir. Whereas she looked pleased to see her Mom, she looked unpleased to see her Aunt Lilith and Zizi.

"Oh man, why did they need to come along?" Ronda asked herself.

"What did you do this time, Ronda?" Raine asked their daughter.

Lilith sighed. "Please tell me you didn't steal anything."

"Come on Lilith, I haven't committed any crimes since I got here." Ronda assured her aunt. But then, some jewellery fell out of her pocket. Then, she quickly picked each one up to not look suspicious. But it didn't get unnoticed by Eda, Raine or Lilith.

"Okay, we'll talk about how cheap those stolen products were later." Eda said. "What's wrong with your brother?"

"Well, it's best if I show you." Ronda said.

"If this is an effort to mug me again then I am gonna be so mad!" Raine said.

"Zizi, I already mugged you!" Ronda said before showing their wallet.

"What?!" Raine looked through their pockets and narrowed their eyes at their daughter. "Give me that!"

Ronda groaned and handed her Zizi's wallet back. "Fine."

"So, what happened to my nephew?" Lilith asked her niece as they entered the house. When Eda turned on the light, everyone saw something that surprised and shocked them.

"Holy, son!" Raine exclaimed.

"King….You…"

King stood in the middle of the living room with what looked like huge bat-like wings sticking out of his back. "Okay. I got this." When he turned, his wings accidentally knocked over a vase. "Whoops!" Then, he knocked over a family photo of Luz, Amity and their kids. "Oh for the love of me!" Then, his wings hit the light over his head, causing it to fall and to crash with a loud crash. He cringed for a brief moment before giving a nervous chuckle to his family. "So….I had another bit of a growth spurt."

The Clawthornes were still in disbelief in what they were seeing. King had unlocked the next stage in his evolution. Wings.

In that moment, Ronda took the time to pickpocket their Zizi all while still being shocked by her brother's wings.

"Ronda!" Raine, despite being in shock, still managed to chide their daughter causing her to put the Walter back in their pocket.

Back in the Human Realm, Luz, Amity, Camila, Vee, Azura and Masha had been in the bathroom for seven minutes trying to think of a plan to get the egg and Vee to the car.

Ghost and Stringbean were tempted to give the egg some kind of affection, but then, Vee hissed and almost clawed at them. But instead of running away in fear, Ghost hissed back while Stringbean turned into a cat and hissed back.

"Ghost, Stringbean, don't provoke her." Amity chided to the Palismen.

"It will make things worse." Luz said.

Amity looked to her sister-in-law. "Vee, I know you don't like sucking magic out of people. But for the sake of you, just take a bit of mine."

Vee shook her head. "No Amity. I can't. You know I won't. I will never suck the magic out of a life that hasn't provoked me in anyway."

Amity sighed. "But it's for the e…" Just as she put her hand on the egg, Vee hissed at her, causing her to move her hand back as quick as possible. "Okay then."

Azura was looking out the bathroom door for any sign of the Nocedas leaving. But unfortunately, they couldn't see any sign of them leaving anytime soon.

"So, what are we going to do while we're stuck in here?" Camila asked. "We can't just stay in here and wait for a plan! Someone is going to get suspicious."

"Well, we have to." Luz said to her mother while Amity got her book about autism out to read. "Don't you worry Mami, we will think of something. But in the meantime, I think we should take the time to figure out how Vee delivered this."

"I don't think anyone knows." Azura remarked. "All I saw was her gut bubbling. That might have something to do with it."

"I think Manny might know." Amity theorised.

"Great!" Masha said. "Bring him in."

"Sure, let's bring in a ten year old boy with a bunch of women and an enby." Masha sarcastically said. "That's not gonna raise suspicion at all."

Luz turned to her and her wife's Palismen. "Leave it to them."

Outside, the Nocedas were having friendly conversations to pass the time while the rainstorm was still brewing outside. Cousin Amy was on the phone to one of her clients while Manny was busy talking to Amelia about Professor What.

"So, fans weren't happy with the Professor being ginger?" Amelia asked her cousin.

"Some were indifferent to the choice but…Other fans were just very anti-ginger." Manny explained.

"Okay folks…" Joel said, getting everyone's attention. "….I just saw the report and it looks like it won't stop for a few more hours."

"Boo!" All the Nocedas exclaimed.

"I know! I know! But that doesn't mean we still can't have the barbecue!" Joel said. "Now, who wants a wiener?"

"Why did I decide to come?!" Amy complained. "This is my best suit! And I'm gonna need this for a trial in the next few days!"

"Stop complaining, Amy!" One of her cousins demanded.

"Why do I have this many cousins anyway?!" Amy asked. "We couldn't even control ourselves?!"

"Well, we needed better cousins after all." Manny said out loud.

Amy marched towards her cousin and narrowed her eyes at him. "What does that mean?!"

"Amy, Manny didn't mean what he said. Right Manny?" Joel shook his head to try and get him to say the same.

"Well, Amelia has been listening to me talk about Professor What while you haven't spoken to your family once." Manny explained.

Cousin Amy just gagged. "Please! She doesn't care! She's just being polite to appease you. You weirdo."

"From my perspective, you're the weirdo." Manny retort caused a majority of people at the party to laugh.

Amy narrowed her eyes at her cousin, annoyed with his indifferent reaction to being insulted. "Why you…Stupid….Autistic….Weirdo! It's no wonder your mother has no idea what to do with you!"

For the first time in this event, Manny had felt very insulted as he clenched his fist in anger. But before he could say something, he noticed his cousin looking on the floor in fear.

"Scorpion!" Amy's screams caused everyone in the house to panic as they tried to stay far away from it.

"Everyone stay back!" Joel commanded before he realised something. "What kind of scorpion is that?"

But when Manny saw the scorpion, he saw that it looked purple with a hint of green. This led him to realise that this was no ordinary scorpion, it was Stringbean.

He then felt someone tugging on the hem of his pants leg. He looked down and saw Ghost motioning him to follow him into the bathroom.

He then realised that this was where the rest of his family was. "Uh…..No thanks, Ghost." Ghost hissed at him. "Okay. Okay!"

Manny soon entered the bathroom with Ghost and Stringbean following behind. "What's going on? What's with the egg?"

"It's my egg." Vee replied.

"Well, what's it doing in the bathroom? Unless you laid it."

Vee chuckled nervously. "Well, do you wish to say hi to your cousin?"

Manny stared at the egg with an awkward look on his face. "Uh….Hi? I'm your cousin. Wait, how did this happen?"

"That's what we were hoping you'd find out." Amity said.

Manny greeted his Mom with a bit of a blank stare. "Nice to see you not moving your arms like an idiot."

"Manny." Luz chided her son.

"Look Manny, can you at least tell us?" Amity asked. "Or a theory."

Manny began to think back to what happened a few weeks ago when they were having breakfast, the day before Azura's school incident with the griffin. "You remember how you mentioned that Vee was feral?"

"Yeah." Luz said.

"Well, could it be that I was right about Aunt Vee being pregnant?" Manny asked.

"But how did she get pregnant?" Amity asked her son.

"Why do you think I know this?" Manny asked.

"Well….It's because the book said that people like you are intelligent." Amity replied. "Like, having a very high IQ."

Instead of responding, Manny began to sweat. "Okay…Okay….Um…Aunt Vee, Auncle Masha, did anything strange happen to you to cause this?"

"I don't know." Vee replied.

"Unless you count that one time where I scratched Vee." Masha said. "Not because I was feral….Well, in my own way, I was."

"Could that be it?" Vee asked.

Manny looked to his mother with a nervous look on his face. "Well…I….I…I…I….Well….

"Well come on Manny." Amity said, doing her best to encourage her son. "You must know this."

"Well….I…I don't th-th-th-think so?"

"Come on, Manny, what is it?!" Amity exclaimed.

"Amity." Luz chided her wife.

"I don't know!" Manny exclaimed angrily. "I'm not some genius, okay?!" Amity seemed surprised while everyone else was just staring at the boy with sympathy. "I'm sorry! But I don't know this."

"But the book said…"

"Wait, is that where you're getting these ideas from?!" Manny asked while tapping his head with his fingers. "The exaggerated hand movements and now the sudden idea that I'm smarter than you?! I understand you fine!"

"Manny, please calm down." Camila said to her grandson. "Yelling at your mother isn't going to make things better."

"It's like ever since you found out about my autism, you started treating me like I'm someone else! Before you treated me like how you treated Azura! But now you suddenly start treating me like an idiot and then like some super genius?! What in the name of Titan?!"

Amity narrowed her eyes at her son. "Manny, don't yell at me like that!"

"Oh, so now you want to talk to me like I'm someone?!"

"Manny, you're yelling isn't helping me!" Amity argued.

"Well your yelling isn't helping me either!" Manny argued back.

"Oh Titan! I wish you were easier to understand!" Amity yelled.

Azura summoned a fire spell to get everyone's attention. "Enough!" Luz got in front of her wife and her son. "This yelling isn't helping anyone. Not even Vee. Titan, how did something about Vee laying an egg resort to this?!"

Azura exhaled. "Look Mom, Manny, we need to let this whole thing slide after we dealt with Aunt Vee's situation. Abuela, how loud were they during the argument?"

Camila began to think. "Well, I think the people having polite conversations might have blocked them out."

Suddenly, they heard an obnoxiously loud knock from outside the bathroom. "Hey! Hey! Hey! What's going on in there?! Amity! Are you arguing with your weird son?! Well, can you save it for later because I need to go?!" When she opened the door, she was in for the shock of her life. She saw Amity with pointy ears, Azura with a pointy ear, Stringbean, a giant egg and Vee in her Basilisk form. When she blinked sideways, Amy looked like she was about to scream in terror and horror.

But at the first yelp, Azura punched her in the face really hard, causing her to collapsed on the floor. Thankfully, the other Nocedas were preoccupied with their own conversations so Azura and Amity dragged her unconscious body into the bathroom and quickly closed the door shut.

"Oh my Titan!" Azura said in disbelief. "I just knocked out my cousin."

"You're in trouble." Amity then leaned into her daughter and began to whisper in her ear. "Just to be clear, I'm mighty proud of you."

They dumped her unconscious body into the bathtub and accidentally hit her head on the edge, causing everyone to cringe.

"Well, now we have a new problem." Manny remarked rudely. "Does anyone think I have a plan?" He narrowed his eyes at his Mom.

Meanwhile in the Demon Realm, the Clawthornes were doing their best to stop walking around the house due to his stress about having wings and the fact he was accidentally knocking stuff over.

"King! Calm down." Eda said to her stressed out son.

"Wings?! Oh man, I didn't expect it!" He accidentally knocked down some hung frames of Luz and a bunch of people which included her friends, family and author buddies such as the Wu woman. "Whoops!"

"King, stop walking!" Lilith said, trying to calm her nephew.

But then, King accidentally smashed the window with his wings. "Titan! Ah! I said my name in vain!"

"Everything's going to be okay, King." Raine said to their surrogate son before getting some wings in their face, knocking them to the floor.

"Ah! Raine!" King panicked.

Ronda on the other hand, was busy filming the situation on her scroll. "Oh! I'm sending this to Mildred and Mr Bateman."

"King, calm down." Eda said to her son. "Just take deep breaths."

Kings eventually calmed down with his mother's words and sat down on the couch. But as he did, he accidentally knocked over a lamp off the desk. "Uh!"

"Oh Titan, I better not be blamed for this." Ronda said.

"Okay King, now that you calm down and Ronda explained everything…How do you think you gained wings?" Eda asked.

King groaned. "I don't know. One minutes my back was in serious pain, then the next, I have accident prone body parts." When he spread his wings out accidentally, he hit Raine in the face, knocking them to the floor. "Sorry, Raine."

Raine stood up and walked towards King. "Wait, didn't Luz meet the Titan? She mentioned about him having wings?"

Lilith snapped her fingers. "Of course! Just like those growth spurts, the wings are your next stage in your eveolution!"

"Wow, thirty-four years old and you suddenly have wings." Ronda remarked. "Puberty is really slow with you Titans."

Lilith then began to examine the wings sticking out of his back. "Woah! Your wingspan spreads out to nine feet and appear to look similar to the wings of bats. Can you retract them?"

"How do I retract my wings?" King asked. "Do I look like I can naturally control them? I just got them!"

Lilith began to ponder. "Actually, judging by how they're sticking out, looks like they're gonna be stuck with you for the rest of your life."

"Aww man!" King groaned. "How the heck am I going to get back into my house?"

"I don't think you're going to have a house in the next stage." Ronda's comment made King groan.

"Hey King, we're still learning about you with every evolutionary stage." Eda said to her son. "So, whatever stage you're going through, whether they're very long claws, white patches that attract flies or somehow, laying an egg, then we're going to help you. So…" Eda turned to Harpy form. "…How about we take your wings for a test drive?"

King stood up with excitement. "Yeah! Let's do this." When he spread his wings out, he once again, accidentally hit Raine in the face.

"Why am I the one getting wings in my face?!" Raine yelled.

A few minutes later, King, Eda, Lilith, Raine and Ronda were standing by the edge of a cliff. Eda looked like she was ready for take off, King looked frightened, Raine was observing, Lilith looked to be taking notes while Ronda was filming on her scroll just in case things ended in disaster. Which it might.

"Okay, so how do I fly?" King asked.

"Well, I don't know how Titans fly but….How I fly is to command your wings, not force them. It's like you're compromising with your muscles. Watch how I do it." Eda jumped off the cliff and began flying. She flew around the trees that surrounded the cliff, over a rock, underneath a rhino-like demon just minding its own business and then she flew over Gus and Mat whom were having a picnic together.

The gust of wind that Eda produced caused it to hit Gus in the face while the sandwich that Matt was about to eat, blew right into his face.

"Sorry, dumb, dumb!" Eda said.

When she got back to the top, the Owl Lady landed gracefully as she turned back into her witch form. Ronda, Lilith and Raine applauded her.

"Okay King, remember, request the wings, don't force." Eda reminded her son.

King walked towards the edge of the cliff and took a deep breath. "Okay, I got this. Alright wings, flap!" King jumped off the cliff and instead of flying gracefully, he landed with a giant thud.

Eda looked down to see her son lying on his back while groaning. "Owwwwwwwwww!"

Ronda then looked down. "A for effort. But F on the landing."

About 8 minutes later, King returned to the top looking exhausted after climbing. "Okay. I tried requesting but I guess that didn't work. Let's keep trying!"

"Okay King, like I said, gently request them with your muscles." Eda said. "Just like how the muscles in your arm request to move."

King had no idea what to say. "Um….It just happens naturally, really."

"Just try again." Eda said. "Okay, don't think, just do."

King gave a confident smile. "Okay. Try again." He jumped off the cliff, causing him to land once again, with a thud and for the ground to shake.

The ground shaking interrupted Gus and Matt's picnic as Matt dropped his sandwich, causing him to groan.

Three more attempts, three more thuds and three more sandwiches Matt lost, King returned to the top looking exhausted.

"Well, it's a good thing your Titan genes are keeping you from having broken bones." Eda remarked to her frustrated son.

Lilith approached her nephew. "Don't feel down King. I struggled as well to fly properly."

"Don't patronise me, Lilith." King said sadly.

"Yeah, don't patronise my son!" Eda demanded. "Instead, I'll show him this." She got her scroll out.

Lilith just stared blankly at her sister. "Edalyn, if you're going to show King me failing my flying tests then I'm going to be mad."

"Lily, I'm not gonna show him a video of you failing. I'm going to show a compilation of you failing." Eda assured her sister.

"Wait, what?!"

Ronda jumped over her Aunt with an excited look on her face. "Let me see!"

Eda played the video which started off with goofy music and a title called Lily Goofs. Directed by Eda Clawthorne and Edited by Luz Noceda.

The first clip had Lilith in her harpy form about to jump off the Owl House. She did and landed with a loud thud which was replaced by a cartoon sound effect. The next clip had her practicing flying through an obstacle course which ended with her getting hit by a log.

Then, there was one clip of her crashing through the window of Hexside. Then, into Morton's potions stand which caused the flap to crash land on her back.

Then, there was one clip of her crashing through the door of the Owl House. Then another of her crashing into Odalia, causing the abusive mother of Amity to crash through the window of a tavern.

While Ronda, Eda and even Raine laughed, Lilith looked annoyed while King just looked saddened. "That is humorous but it doesn't make me feel better about not being able to fly."

"You're going to get there, King, I promise." Eda assured her son. "The worst thing that could happen would be dealing with that stupid Province of Belos."

But unbeknownst to them, far away from the Clawthorne family, the Spook was watching them through a pair of their binoculars while on the Crow phone.

"They're just….Letting the Titan jump off a cliff. But he keeps coming back up." The Spook explained.

"And why's that?" Kikimora asked from the other end.

"It appears he has wings." The Spook replied.

"Then he is getting stronger." Kikimora said. "He'll soon be powerful to share his abilities with that human. Kill him immediately. We can't have him be a foil to our new world order. Cause if I'm disappointed, then The Bane will be disappointed and if The Bane is disappointed, you are dead. Understand?"

The Spook nodded their head before putting the crow phone down and putting a pack of hex mix on their side. "I might not even do it." They opened the packet so they could enjoy King's suffering.

Back in the Human Realm, the Nocedas were still stuck in the bathroom trying to make of a plan to help Vee. The Basilisk was still attached to her egg with Masha by her side, Camila was tending to the bruise on Cousin Amy's head, Manny was still narrowing his eyes at his mother while Luz and Azura were thinking about what to do.

"Come on, Vee!" Luz exclaimed. "I'm gonna be a Tia, someday…So can I…" Vee once again hissed. "…Okay. Can't make an exception to your own sister."

"Well, this is just amazing." Masha remarked. "I'm stuck in the bathroom with my wife and future kid while nephew and sister-in-law can't seem to get along and the awful cousin is knocked out on the tub and….Honestly, Luz, Azura and Camila, you haven't done anything wrong."

"But I knocked out Cousin Amy." Azura reminded them.

Masha snapped their fingers. "Exactly."

"For Titan sake Vee!" Amity exclaimed. "Just take some of my magic! Look at yourself! You look as grey as snake skin that's been shedded off!"

"Amity, you know I can't." Vee whined weakly.

"I should have gotten the cards when I had the chance." Camila sighed. "¡Soy un idiota!"

"Don't worry, Camila, you're not." Amity assured her mother-in-law. "Compared to me that is." She looked guilty as she stared at her son whom was busy staring at the egg.

"Okay, I have been dreading this, but I need to go to the bathroom." Azura said.

"Oh come on!" Masha exclaimed. "Now?!"

"Sorry Auncle Masha." Azura hung her head down. "I wish I could hold it."

Luz sighed. "Well this is great. We might as well just roll the egg out with everyone to see."

"We can't, everyone will see the egg and then Vee and then they'll tell someone and that someone will tell the government and then Vee will be locked in a laboratory to be experimented on!" Masha exclaimed while placing their hand on the egg. "And why am I allowed to touch the egg and others aren't?!"

"Because you're the parent as well." Manny replied. "I mean, I thought you would have figured it out by now. Actually, I thought you guys would have figured it out by now considering that the egg is Auncle Masha and Aunt Vee's."

"But, how did I even create it?!" Masha asked until Vee realised something.

"Blood!" Vee exclaimed. "Sweetie, the night I accidentally swallowed your blood!" Masha was beginning to slowly realise what their wife was saying. "After I swallowed your blood, I was feral the next day and for the next few weeks! Because our blood was merging together to create, that."

Luz gushed. "Aww!"

But Amity realised something. "So wait, that thing in the egg is part basilisk and part human?"

"That thing, is mine and Vee's kid." Masha declared to their sister-in-law before smiling and hugging the egg. "My basilisk kid."

"Or human." Azura said.

"Or a reptilian humanoid!" Luz exclaimed with excitement. "Ah! The possibilities are just endless!"

"But still doesn't tell us how to get out of this situation." Camila said.

Then, Luz was hearing some noise outside. Specifically, from her cousins. "Man, where's Luz?"

"Yeah, I was enjoying her stories." One of the cousins complained.

"But at least Cousin Amy is gone."

In that moment, Manny came up with a plan. "Okay guys, I think I might have a plan."

A few minutes later, Azura and Luz walked out of the bathroom. "Okay Mami and Azura, you have an important job. But before that, Azura can go to the bathroom." Azura went up the stairs to have a bathroom break and arrived back downstairs around seven minutes later. "Okay, when you are done with bathroom, you offer everyone a drink."

"Hey family, is anyone thirsty?" Azura asked. "How about a drink?"

"Yeah!" One of the Nocedas replied.

"Please give me juice." The Noceda with multiple kids requested. "Specific juice."

"While you're handing out the drinks, you will manipulate the flavour of each drink. But that flavour will have the same effects as a hexed Forget-That-Not flower. Specifically, the hex should be to make people forget Basilisk Aunt Vee and the big egg in case they see it."

Azura brewed a fresh group of coffee and whistled into it so she could manipulate the bitter flavour to give it a bit of an extra punch.

"Hey everyone, who wants to listen to me read the manuscript of the next book of the Human Witch series?" Luz's question got every one of her youngest cousins to cheer.

"Mami, your job is to distract the family by reading the manuscript that is hiding in Stringbean's stomach. Read every sentence, every paragraph, every line, every letter, every noun…."

"Mijo, I get it."

"Well come in the living area, then!" Luz exclaimed. "And try your best to keep your attention to me."

The cousin with seven kids, whose baby was crying, gave a thankful sigh. "You're a life saver. I need to get this little brat to sleep."

Luz led her family into the living area so she could read her distraction to her cousins and the rest of her family.

"Ghost will give the signal when the family is occupied."

Ghost walked towards the bathroom door and made a meow sound which Amity understood from the other side of the door.

"Okay, Luz has them distracted." Amity informed Masha.

"When Ghost gives the signal, Auncle Masha…." Manny sounded hesitant. "….Mom, will get the egg out. Don't worry Aunt Vee, Auncle Masha will be rolling it while Mom will summoned her abominations to guide it gently into the car."

Masha looked around the empty kitchen for any sign of any Nocedas and thankfully there wasn't. Masha began to roll the egg down the corridor of the kitchen and straight down the corridor. Amity used her Abomination to remove stuff like a toy on the floor, hammering in a nail that was sticking out of the floor, opened the front door and made a ramp so Masha could roll it down.

They opened the car and Amity used an Abomination hand to lift it into the backseat so Masha could buckle it up. "There we go little dear. You're all in." Masha kissed the egg, causing Amity to be weirded out.

Masha saw their sister-in-law's expressions and narrowed their eyes. "Don't look at me like I'm weird. I've seen you and Luz kiss each other's baby bumps."

"Once you're done, go into the living area with Luz. Once they're in, I will sneak out to get Aunt Vee's cards."

Manny walked out of the bathroom and straight towards the drawer that held Vee's Hexes Hold'Em cards. He opened the drawer to see a deck at the ready. He took a handful and was about to summon some magic to control them but then he was stopped by his cousin, Amelia.

"Hey Manny!" Amelia exclaimed. "Your Mami is reading her latest book."

Manny looked nervous. "Uh…."

"Where have you been?" Amelia asked. "You were gone for a while. Is everything okay?"

Manny was struggling and he was so agitated that he was once again, tapping his head. "I…Was fine. I…I….I….I….I…."

Amity saw that her son looked like he was about to have a bit of a panic attack and wanted to do something. So, she quickly came up with an excuse in order to help her son.

She walked out the room. "Manny, there you are!"

"Oh hey Amity." Amelia said.

"Listen Amelia, Luz might get tired, do you mind watching out in case she needs assistance?" Amity asked.

"Sure, Amity!" Amelia responded before walking away with her.

While Manny was surprisingly grateful with what his Mom did, a part of him still didn't forgive his Mom for what she did to him the other day. He used his magic to make the cards levitate to the bathroom door. "I will make the cards levitate to the bathroom door and Abuela will grab them."

Camila opened it up and handed the cards to Vee, whom immediately consumed them and turned into her human form.

She stood up and began walking with relief. "Yes! Thanks for the assist, Mama!" She hugged her Mom.

"Anytime, Mija." Camila said. "What are you gonna do?"

"That egg needs to get home as soon as possible." Vee said. "Who knows what could happen?"

"I think that's a wise decisions, Mija." Camila said.

"I'll see you at the next family event. Hopefully one where we don't knock out cousins." Vee and Camila shared a laugh together before the Basilisk left to get their significant other.

"Then, the final stage, what will you do when Cousin Amy wakes up?" Cousin Amy woke up in the bathtub, groaning. "Okay, I had no plan for that. Just come up with something because she is going to ask."

"What happened?" Cousin Amy asked.

"Amy, are you okay?" Camila asked her niece. "You slipped and hit your head on the bathtub."

But Amy didn't look convinced. "No! That's not what happened! Where was it?! Where's the snake?!"

Camila looked baffled. "Snake? What snake?"

Amy ran out of the bathroom in anger to confront her cousin whom was still reading in the living area. "Then, Lucia saw the Bat King's original owner for what they are. A transparent and hooded being marching aggressively towards her."

Suddenly, Amy marched aggressively towards her and grabbed Luz by her collar, causing the family to gasp. "Where is it?!"

Luz looked baffled. "Where's what?"

"The snake!"

"What snake?"

"Amy, what are you doing?" Joel asked his daughter.

"Luz….She knows something!" Amy exclaimed. "Azura as well! She punched me in the face! And Amity had pointy ears!"

"What are you talking about?" Amity asked as she moved her hair aside to reveal them as round, leaving Amy baffled.

"What?! What?! What?! What?!" Amy exclaimed. "No! They were pointy! Not round!" Unbeknown to Amy, Azura was using an illusion spell to hide her mother's ears.

"Well, they're pointier than the average human, so I can understand why you would mistake me for an elf." Amity and the other Nocedas chuckled.

"What?! What?! What?!" Amy exclaimed before realising something. "Wait, where are Vee and Masha?! They probably know something!"

"About snakes?" Amity responded. "Vee knows a lot about snakes. Shame she left early."

Amy marched towards Amity and grabbed her by the collar. "Come on! Stop messing with me!"

"Amy!" Camila narrowed her eyes at her niece. "I think it's time you leave."

"What?! What?! You know as well!" Amy screamed.

"Enough Amy!" Joel demanded. "Leave, now."

Amy narrowed her eyes at her family before she began walking out the house, backwards. "I'll be back! Believe me! I will find out the truth!" She knocked over some stuff before tripping, getting back up and then leaving the house while falling down the porch stairs.

Inside Vee and Masha's car, the couple were driving back home after such a stressful day. On the car journey back home, Vee had been staring at the egg with love in her eyes. This was her and Masha's future, their egg, their kid and she couldn't wait to meet them. Whether human or basilisk. She and Masha will love the kid.

"I can't wait to meet you." Vee said. "Me and your Nini can't wait." The two stared at their future lovingly. Though there were things they didn't understand about it, they were going to do their best to make sure they were born.

Back in the Demon Realm, King, now covered in band aids was currently standing by the cliff, ready for another try.

"Okay King, I'm starting to think that maybe jumping off the cliff might not be a good idea." Eda said.

"You're just doing that?!" King exclaimed.

"Yeah. I think Matt is starting to get annoyed that he isn't getting the chance to eat his sandwich." Eda remarked.

"By the way, how many sandwiches does he have?" Raine asked.

"Okay King, try flapping your wings and float off the ground." Eda suggested.

"Okay." King began to request to his wings to move which they did, but slowly. Eventually, he sped it up and thrusted his legs upwards, causing him to float. The Titan was excited while Eda, Lilith and Raine were proud of this Titan. "Ah! I'm finally floating!"

"Now you're getting it, slugger!" Eda said.

"Boo!" Ronda groaned. "I was about to make a compilation of King fails for Aunt Lilith."

Lilith nudged her niece's arm. "Ronda!"

"What?!" Ronda responded.

"Alright King, you're floating." Eda said. "Let's see how well you do with actually flying." Eda turned into harpy form.

"Um….How do I fly?" King asked.

"Just bend your body in whatever direction you want." Eda replied before floating. She judged her body to the left and to the right which caused her to slide left and right. "Go ahead, you try."

"Okay." King then shifted his body a bit causing him to move about. But him flying was causing him to be excited and giddy. "Yes! Yes! I got it!" He flew around his family which caused Eda some concern.

"King calm down!" Eda exclaimed. "Your excitement is gonna get you hurt."

King laughed. "Eda, relax. I got this." But as he flew he realised he was about to crash into a tree. "Ah!" He then crashed through the tree and its many branches. Then, he crashed through a rock but thankfully evaded the rhinoceros demon by flying overhead. "Phew." He then saw Gus and Matt in front of him.

Gus quickly dived out of the way while Matt was unlucky as he was hit by King. The two groaned over the impact of the crash.

"Why are you two still having the picnic?" King asked. "You've been here for two hours."

"Me and Gus are work colleagues just having a nice picnic." Matt said.

"You two don't work together." King pointed out.

Eda, Lilith, Raine and Ronda had arrived to the scene of the accident. "You okay, King?" Raine asked.

"Can I have permission to post this on Penstagram?" Ronda asked her brother

King stood up and brushed himself off. "I think I need to control my manoeuvring a bit."

Gus ran up to Mat and picked him up. "Mat! Are you okay?!"

"I think we need to hold off on our da…I mean, company picnic." Mat said.

"We know you two are dating, you don't need to hide it." Eda said to Gus and Mat, causing them to panic and blush.

"Go! Go! Go!" Gus used illusions to make him and Mat disappear.

"See ya." Ronda said with a deadpan expression.

King stood up and cracked his back. "Oh Titan! That hurt!"

"Okay King, you want to practice your manoeuvring?" Eda asked.

King sighed. "I think I might want to take a break."

Suddenly, an Abomination shard began flying towards the group that Raine happened to notice. "Get down!" Raine commanded before pulling out their violin and summoned a shield.

The Clawthorne family looked toward them to see the Spook approaching the group spinning some Abominatiom sickles.

"Who is that?" King asked.

"It's them." Eda replied as they got into Harpy form.

"You again?!" Ronda exclaimed. "Listen psycho ninja, why don't you go away so you can do your ninja thing someplace else and not hurt anyone else except yourself?! Hey that's an idea, why don't you hurt yourself?! Intentionally!"

The Spook chuckled. "You call that an insult?" The Spook laughed.

Eda and Lilith turned to Harpy form while Raine and Ronda licked their lips. "What do you want?" Eda asked. "You do realise you're a wanted criminal, right? We could restrain you and bring you in."

"Go ahead and try." The Spook said. "You old bags aren't even my target."

"Hey! I'm twenty!" An offended Ronda screamed.

"You'll be surprised how young I am." The Spook responded. "I like chatting to you so…Give me the Titan."

King narrowed his eyes at them. "You'll have to catch me." King screamed at the black figure which they dodged and tossed a shard of Abomination straight at him. But then, Raine deflected it back at them by playing a violin string.

The caught it and began charging at the Clawthornes with Abomination gauntlets at the ready. Lilith began swooping forward toward the Bane's top agent.

They punched the sisters in the face, causing them to fly backwards towards a rock. Ronda snarled and tackled The Spook to the ground. She tried to punch them in the face, but they only grabbed her by the wrist and hit her in the stomach with a mighty kick.

King floated upwards and performed a powerful scream towards the threat and the powerful wave missed. "What?"

"Sorry! I just got my wings!" King screamed.

"Oh." The Spook then summoned an Abomination lasso around his ankle. He struggled to get it off but the Spook was trying everything they could to bring him down, but he was a little strong. "Guess I gotta try a little harder."

Then, Raine ran towards them and kicked them in the chest. Then, as they flew in the air, Eda kicked them in the back before Lilith grabbed them by the ankle and smashed the assailant on the ground.

The Spook stood up and felt their mask and realised there was a crack. They cracked their fingers and growled. "I guess old people can kick butt."

"I'm twenty!" Ronda screamed.

The Spook began to charge towards the Clawthornes with two Abomination swords out. Eda tried clawing at the assailing but they chopped her hook hand off with one clean swipe. Then, they punched her face with their gauntlet.

Raine played their violin which made the mysterious assailant hover in the air. King made a screech before flying upwards toward the assailant to tackle them but unfortunately missed.

"Oh Titan!" King exclaimed before crashing into a rock.

Raine then used their violin to slam The Spook to the ground. Lilith flew high in the air, in an effort to perform a pile driver on them. But they only jumped back up and then squirted a bit of Abomination into Raine's eyes.

"Ahhh!" They screamed as they tried to removed the sticky substance off of them.

The Spook managed to jump backwards before Lilith hit the ground and managed to get her elbow stuck in the ground. Then, the Spook performed a kick to knock Lilith's head off.

"Hey! I'm the only one who's allowed to treat my aunt's head like a Grudgeby ball!" Ronda screamed before tackling them to the ground. She snarled at right in their faces before they grinned under the mask and summoned an Abomination to pick her up and then toss her toward her Zizi who had just managed to remove the Abomination from their face.

"Hey!" Eda was flying straight forward like a torpedo but then they ducked and accidentally tackled her sister's headless body that was searching for her head.

They crashed into a tree, causing their bodies to shatter on impact. Eda's head groaned in pain. "I'm getting too old for this."

"Great job Edalyn!" Lilith sarcastically said. "Now I don't have any body looking for me!"

Eda narrowed her eyes at her sister's head. "You had to…"

"Shut up, Edalyn!" Lilith interjected.

The Spook grinned before moving toward the unconscious body of King. They flicked their wrist and summoned an Abomination dagger. "Sorry dear Titan. I'm afraid that your time is up. My master can't have you in his way. You might one day grow powerful to lend your Titan powers to a certain human."

They raised the dagger high, ready to take down the last Titan. But then, King opened his eyes and performed a powerful Titan scream toward their direction. They flew backwards, causing them to slide on the ground and then a bit of their mask came off.

When everyone recovered, they saw the Spook's eye through one of the eyeholes looking panicked as they used their free hand to cover the hole that would expose a part of their face.

Everyone tried to get a good look at them, but then, they quickly retreated into the forest. "Come back you coward!" Ronda cried out.

"Let them go, Ronda." Eda requested to her daughter as she put her head back on. "I think The Bane has got the message. You mess with my family, you mess with the Clawthornes."

Raine summoned a crow. "I'll alert the Scouts to find them. They left a few tracks." They picked up the piece of the mask and began to analyse it.

King walked towards his Mom. "Was that them?"

"I think it was." Lilith replied. "They were a lot tougher than I thought."

"What do we do now?" Ronda asked. "The Province is now after King."

"King, I hate to say this but flying lessons are have to be put on hold." Eda said to her son. "The Province is after you."

King looked saddened. "But…I want to help. I took out the Spook."

"They won't stop until you're dead, King." Raine informed their son. "You need to go into hiding until this is all sorted."

Despite the fact he wanted to help, King knew it would probably be for the best. "I understand."

"Do you know a place to hide?" Eda asked. "Does the Collector have a place?"

King looked saddened. "I'm afraid, Collector…Is a little occupied."

"What do you mean?" Lilith asked. "Are they okay?"

"I'll tell you what happened to him another time." King replied. "I better get into hiding as soon as possible." King spread his wings and took off. But as he tried flying, he accidentally crashed into a tree. "Ow!"

Lilith chuckled lightly. "Least he knows how I felt." She shook her head as she turned into her own Harpy mode. "Alright dear nephew. Come along now." She and King took off so he could continue to learn how to fly while going into hiding.

"So, what do we do now?" Raine asked.

"We send out some scouts to guard King and start interviewing their members as soon as possible." Eda replied. "We'll start with that little Widebent kid, tomorrow."

"You got it!" Raine said.

"And Ronda will go back to Luz and Amity's house to explain everything." Eda replied. "Or should we come with you since they might not believe you?"

Ronda gave a confident laugh. "I got it! I mean, after what I've been through, they must."

But when Ronda got back, she was greeted with Amity and Luz narrowing their eyes at her. "Luz, Amity, this might be hard to believe, but I was not the cause of this. King sprouted wings." But the wives did not believe her and just continued to narrow their eyes at her. "So, I heard Vee laid an egg, can we talk about that?" But they just continued to narrow their eyes at her, waiting for a good excuse.
