After telling the girls all the information they had that was appropriate for their little ears, they decided it would be best, after much protesting from the littles, for Casey and Alex to go meet the sweet angel alone to not overwhelm her anymore than she already was.
She wasn't in the same situation Amelia was in before coming to live with the Novak's, in fact, this little one had been in foster care since the age of 2. She was placed with an elderly couple who were more like grandparents, although not related, and unfortunately, when the husband passed away the wife just couldn't care for a six year old alone.
Sophie was the one who placed this little girl and her immediate thought when told the woman could no longer care for her was Casey and Alex—then she remembered Casey just had twins; after debating whether or not to make the call, she went with her gut and called. Unsurprisingly to Sophie, Casey called her back and said 'of course'.
Because this wasn't a case the detectives were working, meeting in the children's interview room where Casey and Alex first met Amelia wasn't going to work. They had a children's interview room where Sophie works but she didn't want that for the little blonde—she wanted something a little more personal and was happy when Casey suggested meeting at the restaurant where they would have their own private room; it's also where Liz and Alexander could bring the girls after a bit of time as well.
Alex took her parents aside and explained what was happening after they all saw Lennon and Amelia jumping around like the silly monkeys they are, with an added level of excitement, to which the grandparents equally matched when Alex told them.
Neither seemed to be surprised even though the twins were only a little over three months old seeing as they knew the women wanted a big family and they wanted to adopt at least one more time. Plus, why would they not get excited over spoiling another grandbaby?
25 minutes later Casey and Alex were sitting in the private room of their restaurant when they heard the elevator ding signaling Sophie was there with the tiny blonde. Casey and Alex knew they had tiny girls—Amelia already started her growth injections, Lennon was going to need them and Casey assumed the twins would eventually as well seeing as they have her genes.
That being said, this little one was always fed by the elderly couple so clearly she had similar genes to Casey where being small was 'just her thing', a phrase Amelia often uses when her size is commented on. She no longer sees it as something to get upset about after numerous conversations with her mommies—plus, she now has a great group of friends by her side unlike when she first started at her new school.
This small blonde was holding her stuffed elephant and blanket in one hand/arm and was holding one of Sophie's hands with what looked like a death grip—the stuffy and blankie definitely reminded Casey and Alex of their girls who still take both everywhere although, their blankies they take now are their name blankets to match their baby sisters.
Sophie was sporting a smile whereas the small blonde was clearly terrified, with good reason, seeing as she didn't know the women from a hole in the wall—luckily, the woman she was living with for four years of her life was able to keep her until Sophie got in touch with Casey so she didn't need another placement in the meantime. It also meant there was a tearful goodbye earlier because to a six year old, it didn't really make much sense why the only person she's ever known to not be able to take care of her anymore.
Casey and Amelia know the feeling seeing as Casey lost the three people who ever took care of her and Amelia did as well. It's not the greatest thing to have in common but it has helped Amelia immensely to be able to talk to mommy about things like that.
After getting to know each other a little bit, they realized once again, they were meant to have little miss Bella Kate in their lives. Casey and Alex filled Bella in on their family and she was happy to hear there would always be someone to play with. She's never had a sister before, something Amelia said to Casey the first day they met as well, and thinks 'it's gonna be fun to have lots of them'.
Alex called her mother and told her to bring the girls then decided they would all have an early dinner and go out for some frozen yogurt afterwards. Luckily the diaper bag was always prepared so all they needed to do was load up the girls—easy enough right? Wrong. There are four of them and while Amelia can buckle herself, Lennon still gets stuck and then there are the twins who needed to be loaded up too.
Not to mention, neither grandparent have ever driven the 'monster of a car' as they call Casey and Alex's matching cars—Casey made sure to put Amelia's booster seat that was in Alex's car in her own before leaving that way they could at least transport Bella safely if she chose to ride with everyone and if she wanted to ride with just Casey and Alex for the rest of the night, Casey would move it.
35 minutes later seeing as Liz and Alexander had to successfully get four girls buckled/loaded and figure out how to 'work the damn car' they arrived at the restaurant. Casey stayed upstairs with Sophie and Bella while Alex ran down to help her parents with the girls—whenever they showed up at the restaurant, the staff always wanted life updates and to see how much the girls had grown, something they typically didn't mind but Alex knew the littles were very excited to meet the tiny blonde upstairs.
In all honesty, Bella fit in perfectly size wise with their girls—Amelia was 10 but still wore a 6T, Lennon was still in 2T, and Bella was in 4T which seemed perfect in the sense of, it truly matched being two sizes behind like their girls are.
While Alex was getting the girls, Casey got to know Bella a bit more—specifically, her likes and dislikes. When Casey mentioned that the girls danced Bella's beautiful blue eyes lit up with pure excitement and she said how she's always wanted to dance; unfortunately, it just wasn't something in the budget with Nancy and Bill, the couple she lived with.
Casey was more than happy to inform Bella that signing her up for dance would be something they could do immediately as the girls had dance on Monday and today was Saturday. You'd think it was Christmas with the little squeal from Bella and the huge smile that appeared on her face—it was absolutely adorable.
"Momma!" Lennon and Amelia said at the same time, running right up to her. Alex hugged both of them and picked Lennon up when she made little grabby hands—Casey and Alex are secretly happy both girls continued to make grabby hands at them; while Amelia only does it when she's super sleepy, Lennon does it constantly and they love it.
Alex looked past them after situating Lennon on her hip and saw her parents who each had a car seat and cooing baby in tow. Why they didn't grab the stroller, Alex wasn't even going to ask—she did smile a bit seeing her father carrying the diaper bag seeing as it looks more like a women's purse/backpack than a diaper bag. Either way, he was a great sport about it and was such an amazing grandpa.
"Can we go meet her now momma?" Amelia asked, excitement radiating through her little body.
The mothers did not tell the girls or the grandparents Bella's name before leaving the house—to be honest, they found out themselves the minute Sophie introduced Bella to Casey and Alex so when they said 'we really don't know' it was the truth, they didn't.
"Wet's doe momma," Lennon squealed, squirming around in her mothers arms trying to get her to move toward the elevator.
"Hold on babies, we need to wait for grandma, grandpa and your sisters," Alex said, watching as her parents got closer. To be honest, Alex was giving Bella a bit of time before being essentially bombarded by her new extremely large family as well.
Soon enough, all seven of them were in the elevator and Alex was reminding the girls that they needed to be patient and use their indoor voices. She remembered saying the same thing when the girls were able to come into Casey's hospital room after having the twins and Lennon screaming in excitement; she hoped being a little older might make a difference however, wasn't completely convinced with their little sass queen.
Casey heard the ding of the elevator again and had already warned Bella that Lennon especially gets extremely excited—Bella didn't seem to mind at all though. If the little blonde was being honest, she was really excited to live with other kids because she only got to see other kids at school; she was pretty shy in school but that's only because she knew making a lot of friends would only make her sad seeing as Nancy and Bill couldn't tend to multiple little kids.
Casey and Alex told Bella about their movie nights, how the girls go to dance class, Amelia has sleepovers with her friends which she could too, mentioned the trampoline and movie room along with the pool. They did this to try and distract her from the fact she was still a bit nervous and fragile in the sense of having to say goodbye to Nancy.
What Bella didn't know was that Nancy herself was sick—she was moving into elderly living as taking care of herself was getting harder and harder. Casey and Alex knew already it was going to be hard for Bella but they would continue to bring her to see Nancy until the end and be there for her every step of the way.
At the ding, Bella looked over to the doorway expectantly and shied away a little bit while feeling excitement in the pit of her stomach. It was becoming very real for her and she was trying to process it all the best way she could. She clung onto her stuffy, who the mothers learned was named Ellie as when she was little elephant was a hard word to say and then turned to look at Casey.
The grandparents were staying behind a bit while taking everything in, keeping the babies for now so Amelia and Lennon could meet their new sister first—they would have plenty of time to get to know the little blonde, plus, they knew their granddaughters were bursting with excitement.
Bella didn't immediately connect with one of the mothers more so than the other like Amelia did—this was also a different situation completely seeing as she wasn't brought into a police station; that being said, it was evident Bella needed a bit of extra support and when Casey opened her arms and Bella nodded, she lifted the little blonde into her lap.
By the time the girls were fully in the room Lennon once again screamed, 'Mommy!' causing the grandparents to laugh, and Alex to shake her head—Amelia just knew to expect it by now, her little sister was always loud but it never bothered her.
Amelia was the first one to approach Bella seeing as Lennon was still in Alex's arms, even though she was squirming her little body to get down, Alex wasn't ready to let her run free seeing as she'd be the one to overwhelm Bella the most.
"Hi, I'm Amelia," the strawberry blonde said, standing right in front of her mommy who had her new little sister in her lap. "I just turned 10 on June 29th and I'm so excited you're here because…"
Her thought was cut off by Lennon who was fussing in Alex's arms, "ME WANNA BE DARE TOO MOMMA…PEASE!"
Amelia turned to look at Lennon and then turned back to the little girl, "Umm, she's always kinda loud," she giggled causing Bella to laugh too.
Alex, in Lennon's mind, had finally made it over to the table where she sat down in the chair next to Casey with the tiny strawberry blonde in her lap so Lennon could now 'be dare' as well.
Bella smiled up at Amelia who was standing in between her mommies and shyly said, "I'm Bella, and I'm six but almost seven."
"Me Wennin and me dis many," she said, actually holding up the correct amount of fingers.
"Yeah, Lennon is four and our twin baby sisters are umm," Amelia looked to Casey for some help.
"A little over three months," she winked.
"Yup, they are still really itty bitty but they are cute. They look the same because they are iden-ti-cal," Amelia smiled, the word still something she struggled with.
"Dey cwy a wot cuz dey babies but me a big dirl and no cwy a wot," Lennon smiled proudly.
It was really nice to see Amelia completely out of her shell that she typically puts herself in when she's in new situations—she didn't hesitate at all which made Casey and Alex's hearts swell with pride. Lennon, they knew she had no fear but Amelia still had her anxiety drops often however, didn't have any before meeting Bella.
Casey already knew Bella could benefit from them but that's not something they needed to talk about right now—it's just the way Casey's mind worked though, she always wanted to be prepared. Especially with her wife who loved to overthink things that didn't need a second thought; the most recent example being the twins arriving earlier than what Alex planned.
That thought brought a smile to Casey's face before focusing back on the girls who were having a conversation. Alex knew her wife was lost in thought for a bit but the smile that appeared on her face meant she was completely back and happy about whatever thought she was having. Alex still worried about her wife because she's not one to truly let her emotions out often and has thoughts about her family, with good reason.
"Do you wanna see the twins? Grandma and Grandpa have them but they were awake in the car—it's kinda hard to tell them apart but I can tell you some ways that I tell them apart. Mommy and momma have some other ways to tell them apart but I have my own ways…Lennon still doesn't really know," Amelia whispered the last part which made Bella giggle.
"Ya g'amma an g'ampa here too!" Lennon repeated—she was too cute, always wanting to be like her big sister which for the most part, Amelia didn't mind. The only time Amelia minded was when she was having her sleepovers and they were doing something Lennon was still a bit young for; luckily, mommy or momma always made sure Amelia could have some space when her friends came over.
Liz and Alexander sat down at the table after setting the twins down on the other side of the table where Bella, Lennon, and Amelia could see them. It was so perfect seeing Bella so invested in learning the tips and tricks Amelia had for telling the twins apart but she knew it was going to take a bit of time because they really looked the same.
The grandparents took this time to take some pictures seeing as the girls were all focused on the twins while Casey and Alex exchanged their own look. It still impressed Alexander the amount the two could convey with just a look; he knows the same thing is done between him and Liz however, not as often and not with something so important. It was something really special.
25 minutes later, food was being consumed and smiles were being had by all. It was evident Bella was coming out of her shell with the littles and it made everyone extremely happy—Sophie knew immediately the Novak's were the perfect new home for Bella and was even more excited to see the adorable little smile on her face.
She was still in Casey's lap, although that seems like it was more for comfort than anything else—not to mention Lennon was in Alex's lap and Amelia was on the other side of Casey so Bella felt safe and was able to talk with both of them. She seemed a bit more taken with Amelia however both mothers knew Lennon would grow on her more so when they got home where they could play.
It's true, being 10 and not 4 you're much easier to understand—Lennon still has trouble with some letters but she does amazingly well and the mothers are beyond proud of her. Amelia though, she's always been wise beyond her years, a lot has to do with how she grew up, but it continued by being a big sister.
That being said, Amelia was also given the opportunity to be a child for the first time as well because of Lennon which was much needed. Although Bella doesn't necessarily need to learn how to be a child, she will learn by being with the Novak's that making friends is something she doesn't need to shy away from because Casey and Alex will always say yes to having playdates.
Luckily, it was the summer so Bella would be starting at the school Amelia was already very familiar with and Lennon would in her little mind 'finally' be starting at. Pre-k was in her future at Elbridge and she couldn't be happier—now all of them would be attending the same school.
Even though Ayla and Parker, Amelia's best friends, don't have younger siblings, some of Amelia's other friends do and are actually in the class Bella will be starting in. It's nice to have that—and because Bella only went to kindergarten and first grade at her old school, starting second grade while Lennon starts pre-k and Amelia heads into fourth grade will be perfect.
Amelia asked lots of questions but she wasn't pushy about it in the least—she knew what it was like to be the new one and didn't want to overwhelm Bella seeing as she doesn't remember most of the bad from the day Sarah was killed but she does remember Olivia asking her lots of questions; since then, she now knows Olivia was trying to do her job but it doesn't mean she liked it, especially in the moment.
She was happy with all the answers she received though, most importantly about Bella's birthday because it was almost August 28th and that's when Bella's birthday is. Right now, it was August 19th meaning the Novak's would be able to throw her an amazing party even if it was just with the immediate family for now seeing as there are a lot of them
Amelia was super excited to celebrate another birthday and have them so close together—to her in particular however the four, now five girls were 'all kinda in a row' according to her. Lennon in March, then Peyton and Oaklyn in May, then Amelia in June, and Bella in August before momma and mommy who are both in September.
She couldn't remember grandma and grandpas birthdays right now but she knew they weren't in the same row, or at least as close as everyone else seemed to be, and she was correct in that; Liz and Alexander had birthdays in January. Amelia remembered they were in the same month, just couldn't remember what month but knew right now it didn't really matter.
She and Bella continued to talk with Lennon chiming in when she wanted to be heard too, but she was able to easily be distracted by food unlike the girls who kept talking even when dinner was served. The adults were all watching the girls interact and knew without a doubt this was the correct decision.
Liz and Alexander were in charge of the twins so Casey and Alex could make sure everything was good with the littles and Casey was glad she always had pumped breastmilk for this reason. I mean, not this specific reason, it's not everyday you adopt another child but days where her in-laws helped out more so with the babies.
Dinner was now finished, at least for the girls while the adults were still picking a bit because when at their restaurant they never ordered just one dish, they ordered multiple and picked from all of them every single time. It was also another way for, Alex specifically, to not have to choose what she wants because it's super hard to do no matter how many times they've eaten here.
Casey didn't want to be rude and interrupt the girls conversation, but she knew it would be worth it so she asked anyways; "Bella sweetie," she waited until the tiny blonde in her arms turned to look at her then continued, "would you prefer to have dessert here at the restaurant or go out for some frozen yogurt?"
"Me want yodurt mommy!" Lennon cheered, bouncing up and down in Alex's lap and making all of the adults laugh.
"I know what you want little miss, I was asking Bella what she wanted baby," Casey said to Lennon, shaking her head at her daughters antics before focusing back on Bella.
"Bewwa you want da yodurt too be'tause it's da bestest!" Lennon continued.
"We got frozen yogurt the first day I met mommy, momma and Lennon," Amelia chimed in. She didn't really care what they did to be honest, she was just sharing a memory—one that Bella seemed to really consider. It's not that she didn't like Lennon, in fact, she truly liked the little sass queen a lot; it's just that, in her mind, it was easier to connect with Amelia because she was a bit older.
"You're right little one, we did," Casey winked at Amelia who smiled in return. "Whatever you prefer is fine honey," Casey said, gently rubbing Bella's back as she was now physically turned a bit to face the redhead easier.
"Umm, frozen yogurt is sounds yummy. Is it kinda the same as ice cream?"
"Fozen yodurt is ice ceam," Lennon exclaimed. Amelia knew better though; they only had frozen yogurt in their home, it's something they started with Lennon when she was old enough and it stuck in the Novak household. Lennon was even convinced the Mickey Mouse shaped ice cream in Disney was frozen yogurt too.
Amelia rolled her eyes at Lennon's outburst—sometimes she was just so silly, and sometimes Amelia liked the fact her friends understood more than Lennon did; even though Lennon truly taught her how to be a little kid, there are just some things that Lennon doesn't understand and it's nice having multiple friends her age that do.
Casey whispered to Bella so Lennon couldn't hear, "Yes it's very similar—they taste almost identical but we don't tell Lennon because most of it is sugar free."
Bella laughed and said, "Yeah let's have frozen yogurt." She didn't care that apparently it's sugar free because it seemed like Amelia liked it too and she was really sold when Amelia told her she could put as many toppings as she wanted.
"WET'S DOE!" Lennon cheered.
Alex looked over at her parents who just happened to be looking at her when Lennon screamed seeing as she made a face—a face she often made when Lennon screamed while in her arms. The grandparents always got a kick out of it because their daughter was truly such an amazing mother however, there were still some things that seemed to surprise Alex when it came to parenting.
For instance, a screaming child when you're not expecting it. Lennon was always pretty loud—she and Amelia were often loud together when playing in the pool, jumping around on the trampoline, when they got the giggles together…you'd think Alex would be used it by now, especially adding the twins to the mix but she still wasn't which made Alexander and Liz laugh.
While Sophie was saying goodbye to Bella, letting her know she'd stop by tomorrow to see how things were going even though she had no doubt in her mind Bella would be having the time of her life, Amelia was asking Casey about the driving arrangements.
"I don't know baby, it's whatever Bella wants. If she feels more comfortable with momma and me for tonight, then we will honor that."
"Yeah, that makes sense. I hope she wants to come with us though. Maybe after Lennon goes to sleep we can see if Bella maybe wants to sleep in my room with me…only if she wants to."
Casey smiled at her little one and could not be more proud—Amelia was truly the sweetest angel ever; she was always thinking of others and a lot of time went out of her way to make others happy just because.
Even though they had five bedrooms upstairs alone, one they thought eventually might turn into Peyton and Oaklyn's own rooms (even though they secretly hoped the twins would forever want to share a room) it was great they had the fifth room that was fully furnished that would now be Bella's.
It wasn't painted the same way the girls rooms were, the nursery was obviously done up for when the twins transitioned, Amelia's was painted with a single peach accent wall, and Lennon's was 'all da pink' meaning all four walls were pink instead of just one like Amelia's. The fifth room upstairs was white and currently had some pastel yellow accent pictures with matching bedding which could easily be swapped out.
It just so happened Bella was wearing a pastel yellow shirt, but that didn't necessarily mean it was her favorite color. Little did anyone know, 'light yellow' as Bella called it, or pastel yellow was actually her favorite color which meant she would be very happy to know that was her room—a room that was right next to Amelia's bedroom and across from the twins as Amelia's bedroom was across from Lennon's.
Was it the most practical for the mothers having the twins nursery furthest away from them? No…but they knew having Lennon and Amelia closest to them made the most sense because Peyton and Oaklyn were still in with them and would be for a while.
Casey also said if they are anything like Lennon, they will sleep through the night come being about four months old. Alex and Casey agreed once they sleep through the night, they can be put in their nursery which was painted to incorporate their special colors with the common theme in their household: butterflies and clouds.
Besides changing her color to peach, Amelia still loved her clouds and butterflies so she kept that theme for her bedroom and bathroom—Lennon had the same but in all pink, and the twins the mothers thought, well why not? Until they were old enough to want something special like the girls did, it just worked for their family.
Amelia was very happy when Bella said she wanted to ride with everyone after saying goodbye to Sophie. She didn't feel super sad saying bye to her because she's going to see her tomorrow and it's not that she forgot about Nancy, but she was distracted to say the least with everything going on.
During dinner Bella was properly introduced to Liz and Alexander but Casey was quick to assure her she didn't need to call herself, Alex, Liz or Alexander by the moniker they go by to Lennon and Amelia until she was comfortable.
Bella called Nancy and Bill her 'gigi' and 'pop-pop' which were surprisingly not the same as the Cabot or Novak grandparents—granted, they really only spoke about mimi and papa unless visiting them when the weather was warmer or on their anniversaries, but still not the same.
Bella seemed to consider mommy and momma because she's always been the girl who didn't have 'parents', she had 'grandparents'. She truly didn't talk about it in school and was happy to learn she'd start at a new school and really have an entire family now. She didn't know what she wanted yet in regards to calling Casey and Alex their monikers never mind the grandparents, but was happy she had some time before school started.
Amelia took to calling Casey and Alex mommy and momma very quickly—Bella might be the same, or she may be like Lennon and take her time the way she did with Alex, Liz and Alexander. Not that she remembered a time where she didn't call them by their monikers, but the adults remember, more so will never forget the day it happened for each of them.
Bella was completely blown away at Sweet Treats—it's not that she had a bad life with Nancy and Bill, in fact, it was a great life…it just wasn't as luxurious and privileged as it's been tonight and will be for the rest of her life.
Nancy and Bill were great people, they took in a little one who truly needed a safe home—money was something they didn't have much of though so homemade meals were go to's instead of eating out besides once or twice a year.
She was clothed, fed, and protected, but she didn't really have friends because Nancy couldn't have a bunch of little ones hanging around her home, she didn't have a lot of clothes because Nancy took care of the ones Bella had, and they made due with what worked.
Bella was in for many, many surprises just like Amelia was—luckily for Bella, Amelia will be there to try and help normalize it because even though the girls have everything they could ever want and more, they are very appreciative, love to give back, and don't take what they have for granted.
One of Amelia's dance friends told her how the ballet slippers she had didn't fit anymore and her mommy and daddy couldn't afford to get her new ones or new leotards for that matter because she has so many siblings and the parents didn't have the type of money Casey and Alex do—needless to say, Amelia told Casey right after dance making sure to get her friends size and asked if they could 'please go get her some stuff, she really needs it mommy'.
Lennon did something similar after Amelia suggested it one night near the holidays, asking if they could let everyone come to the restaurant or give them a gift or something which Lennon followed suit by saying her preschool friends needed it too.
In reality, it turned into making sure all the kids were able to go to the trampoline park for the day and eat pizza while the parents got to go to the restaurant on the night of their choosing alone or bring their kids if needed as well. Either way, they had very generous and loving littles who made the mothers very proud.
The girls filled their bowls with Alex while Casey went to check on the twins and let Liz and Alexander fill their own bowls too. Casey didn't want any, she would eat a few bites of Alex's and Lennon always loved to give her bites so that was enough for her—right now, she just wanted to see the other two baby blondes.
Now she had two minis and Alex had three which made Casey happier than ever. Bella truly looked like a mini Alex—if someone didn't know them, it would be extremely easy for Alex to say, 'yes I gave birth to Bella' the same way Casey could easily say the same about Amelia. True? No, but it looked that way.
The twins, people are often very thrown off by the fact Casey gave birth to them unless they knew the family personally. There was also a picture from when Casey was pregnant with the twins that Rachel took of the family in the restaurant that goes with the other two—now they would need to take another and update their photos to add the third little blonde which made Casey smile.
She's loved photography since she was a little girl, Amelia loves to draw all sorts of beautiful photos, Lennon tries her best but to be honest, she will forever be Casey's first masterpiece, then came Alex, the Cabot's, Amelia, the twins, and now Bella.
Looking down at Peyton and Oaklyn, Casey couldn't help but smile again knowing they would never know a world without their three older sisters. They differ from Lennon in regards to being smiley with everyone and anyone—that could also do with the fact Casey kept Lennon very close to her at all times whereas the twins she doesn't stop people from peeking in to see them.
"No momma, pease me a big dirl," Lennon cried.
Casey could tell she was overtired and it was showing—it's not uncommon for her to want to do everything herself like Amelia did but when she was especially overtired her speech got a bit worse. Not that it was terrible, you could always understand her, it's just a lot of I's turned into me's and certain letters refused to be put into words.
"Let momma hold it bug, just until we get to the table," Alex said, squatting down so she was face to face with Lennon and giving her a little kiss.
The pout was always just too cute because it wasn't a poor sport pout, it was Lennon wanting to be a big girl and trying to act stubborn and faux sad at the same time. Casey smiled and opened her arms which Lennon ran right into letting mommy 'gives all the snuggles' in the time it took for Alex to walk over with the littles.
Amelia and Bella had huge smiles on their faces and sat down right next to Casey as Alex placed Lennon's yogurt in front of her getting a tired 'tank oo' in response. "You're welcome baby."
Bella seemed to be catching on to the fact that Amelia and Lennon each had nicknames, if it wasn't 'baby', and wondered if the twins had them too and if she was going to get one. Peyton's nickname was monkey or monkey Mae because she was the 'sillier' twin and Mae was her middle name, and Oaklyn's was peanut or Oakie-bear because she's the smaller of the two.
It seemed to Bella like Liz called all of them sweet pea, and Alexander went with princess so she's pretty sure it would be the same for her in regards to them. Regarding Casey and Alex, she didn't know—Alex took to calling Amelia little one after showing the strawberry blonde her journal while Casey was the one who started it—she actually started all the girls nicknames.
To be honest, Casey wasn't thinking about that right now—she was just happy to be able to provide Bella with a safe home where she would always be surrounded by people who loved her and could easily take care of her.
It was Bella's turn for a new beginning and the Novak's were beyond excited to be able to provide her with one; the little blonde was already fitting in perfectly.
Casey leaned over and gave Alex a chaste kiss followed by an, "I love you."
"I love you too babe."
And that she did—looking around the table, Alex felt so much love and she knew without looking, her wife was thinking the same exact thing.
