Riley tucked her head down slightly using her hair to block her face as she blushed slightly whilst every one chuckled in a good natured way. She smiled softly at their gentle teasing before tilting her head up as she felt a gentle pressure on her shoulders, her eyes met Ryder's warm grey eyes as he stared down at her with love and kindness. "We're lucky to have met you and all your family Angel." He planted a soft kiss on her nose before standing up again. Everyone was watching them with a small smile on their faces. "What?" He asked.

"Aw heck I'll just say it, you two are adorable!" Kira squealed before she turned her attention fully to Riley. "I'll come with you to yours if you want? Say hi to your folks?" Riley nodded in agreement and soon with a full tummy, she exited the house to head to her own home, Kira walking beside her. They walked in a comfortable silence before Kira broke it. "How you doing?" She asked as she tilted her head to the side so she could see Riley's face.

"What do you mean?" Riley asked self consciously tucking a strand of hair behind her ear.

"I mean with your old friends turning up, having to face all those memories and feelings again. It can't be easy and I want to make sure you're okay, or you at least know you can talk to me." Riley smiled and linked hands with Kira before responding.

"It's hard, don't get me wrong but also it's okay. If that makes sense. I mean if I didn't have you, Ryder, your family, Adam, Zay and Vanessa. It's weird but since being here, I've been stepping out of my comfort zone and I like it. I couldn't stay naive anymore, I know they tried to protect me before but I couldn't properly grow.. sorry im rambling." Riley trailed off as she giggled, she had been so focused on trying to convey how she was feeling, she hadn't realised. Kira smiled and squeezed Riley's hand gently.

"You can ramble anytime Riley" before long they arrived at Riley's front door and before Riley could even put her keys in the door it swung open to reveal a panicked looking Cory.

"My daughter has returned!" He shouted dramatically. "I thought you had forgotten where we lived, I was going to put up lost posters!" He brought a hand to his forehead as Topanga stood just behind him and rolled her eyes.

"You spoke to their mum Cory." She sighed before raising her hands in frustration "and for the last time she isn't a dog!" She added before pushing him gently to the side to allow the girls in. "Riley." She engulfed her daughter in a warm hug. "You doing okay?" She whispered in her ear and relaxed as she felt Riley nodding, before releasing her and wrapping a hug around Kira. "Thank you for looking after my girl." After hugging both the girls Topanga stepped back and smiled. "So what are your plans for today?"

Meanwhile...

Lucas, Maya and Farkle were sat at a table in a nearby cafe, looking down at their drinks lost in their own thoughts before Farkle spoke up.

"What do we do?" He looked at Lucas and Maya as his words seemed to snap them out of their trances.

"We apologise again and again until she forgives u?" Maya suggested as she played with the friendship ring on her finger that she still could not bear to take off.

"I don't know, those people she hangs out with are feeing her nonsense." Lucas muttered, his eyes flashing with anger at the mental image of Ryder carrying Riley into the house.

"I don't think it's their fault Lucas." Farkle responded and put his hands up in defence when Lucas's angry eyes flashed to him. "I mean, what she said was true. We weren't there for her. We hurt her in a way that I don't know if we can ever came back from. We abandoned her. We took her for granted and assumed she would always be there. You two kissed behind her back! After spending how long in a triangle and only just sorting it? I didn't even realise she was pulling away. What? Just because she has the picture perfect family and upbringing that shes not allowed negative feelings? Don't look at me like that. Its true. Think about it when apart from the bullying did we actually help her?" He waited for an answer. "Exactly and when did she help us? Maya constantly. Lucas, she helped you turn into the moral compass you are. She helped me when I was being bullied, she accepted me when no one else did. She helped me want to learn more about my heritage and that's only a few times. She wanted to do secret Santa and we all complained about it and Lucas came here to avoid it. Then we betrayed her trust, she trusted in us to always be there for her and we abandoned her again, just like high school only this time it was only her in the hole." Farkle took a deep breath at the end of his speech and watched as Maya and Lucas took in the information.

"She could've said something." Maya muttered softly.

"Could she?" Farkle snapped back before storming out, he felt frustrated at their lack of understanding, and a bit ashamed at how long it took him to realise the impact they had created. With his face set in determination he marched down to Riley's house. He didn't care if she forgave him or not. But he needed to get it off his chest. He ran over his speech in head multiple times on the walk over and took a deep breath as he approached the door. Knocking firmly he waited cautiously before Topanga opened it.

"Farkle." She said in a unimpressed voice as she raised an eyebrow looking at him.

"Mrs Matthews, please I just want five minutes with Riley." Farkle pleaded. He winced as Topanga opened her mouth to presumably shout when another voice interrupted.

"It's okay mom, I'll talk with him." Riley spoke from the bottom of the stairs, her eyes locked with Farkle and she nodded at her mum when she looked at her. Stepping outside she led the way to the porch swing and sat down at one end inviting Farkle to sit. He sat down leaving a space in between them. "Hi Farkle." Riley said gently as she smiled sadly at him, although the pain was still there she couldn't deny the small part of her heart that missed her friend.

"Riley, I am so sorry...
