SmackDown Filming: November 20, 2012
I sigh as I sit in the locker-room as Randy changes into ring gear. "Stephanie thinks I need to tell Vickie and Booker about my pregnancy."
Randy looks at me. "Do you want to?"
"I'm worried about it getting out. I feel like Booker could be trustworthy, but what about Vickie?"
"I'm not sure, Rissa."
I look at him. "Me either."
Randy finished putting his gear on. "I'll leave it up to you. You're the one who doesn't want it going around at work."
"Randy, I'm not sure. I'm indecisive."
He pulled me to him. "You'll do whatever is right. Don't tell her unless you're sure though."
"I'll probably think about it for a little bit before telling her, but I'll tell Booker later tonight."
"Speaking of thinking about things, there is something I've been considering, and I think we should do it for both of our sake."
I give Randy a confused look. "And what's that?"
"I think we should stay home from work next week."
"Oh, why?"
"I mean we just found out we're expecting a baby. I don't know about you, but it does have me kinda stressing out."
I drape my arms over Randy's shoulders. "Me too honestly. I see your point."
"I think we could both use the time to relax. There's going to be things we'll need to discuss. It'll give you a bigger time frame to get a doctor's appointment. You've had a lot to stress you out anyway. Let's take next week off and relax. Okay?"
"Okay, Randy."
"You can catch up on sleep too."
I laugh. "According to what I've been hearing, I may not be caught up on sleep for this whole pregnancy."
"Just try to get as much sleep as you can at least. I'll let you sleep in."
"Thanks."
"Are we ever going to talk about that last letter in more detail? You cried yourself to sleep after reading it."
"I'm not really worried about that right now. I just found out I'm pregnant."
Randy nodded. "But will we talk about it? I think we should at some point."
"At some point, just not right now."
Randy and I slowly walk into Booker's office.
Booker smiles at us. "Hey, guys. You said you needed to talk to me. What's up?"
I sit in a chair across from Booker. "Well, I know you're aware that I had decided to step away from the ring for a while."
"I'm aware of that."
"Obviously, I had no intentions of it being extremely long, but I didn't give any time frame for my return."
"Yes, you are right. Is there something going on?"
"Well, I won't be back in the ring for quite some time. Longer than I had anticipated. I thought I should just let you know."
"Okay, are you aware of a time frame?"
"Likely over a year."
"Over a year? Are you alright?"
"I'm pregnant, Booker."
"Oh, congratulations. I can understand why you said over a year now."
Randy nods. "Yeah, she's making a person."
"I don't intend on telling Vince quite yet though, so all I'm asking is you don't tell anyone." I explain to Booker.
Booker smiles. "Of course. I understand."
"We are going to try to get next week off though." Randy tells Booker. "There's going to be some things Rissa and I need to figure out."
"I understand. You have my blessing to miss SmackDown next week. I'm sure it won't be hard to get Raw off too. I've had kids too. You two do what you need to do."
"Thank you, Booker."
I smile. "I'm going to be so tired all the time though."
Randy kissed my forehead. "You'll be alright though. I'll let you sleep."
Booker smiles. "It'll be rough on both of you, but it's all worth it in the end. I'm really happy for you guys. Good luck with telling Vince whenever you decide to."
Randy laughs. "It'll be a little while before we get there, Booker."
I sat on the couch as I watched Randy's match against Dolph Ziggler.
Chelle smiled at me. "You alright?"
"I'm fine. Just tired and worried about Randy while he wrestles. Nothing too unusual."
"I understand. Have you got a doctor's appointment yet?"
"Not yet, but I'm working on it."
"That's good. I'm excited that you're pregnant."
"Me too. Share your wisdom."
"I'll mail you those books, and you can call anytime."
"Thanks. Randy and I are staying home next week."
"That's good for you guys. Gives you two time to figure things out. Some things at least."
"Yeah, some things."
"Do you have any idea about what you think the gender is yet?"
I shrug. "I have no idea."
"I didn't at first either, but before I found out, I got this huge sense of the baby being a girl. That turned out to be true."
"If I have one of those, I'll let you know."
"Good. What are you going to do while you're at home?"
I laugh. "Probably just sleep for the most part."
"I remember those days. I wish I could get sleep now."
"I'll take it while I can."
Eve looks at us. "It's great that you are pregnant now after the struggles you had when you were trying."
I smile. "It is. I'm still so surprised."
"It is surprising. You weren't even trying."
Ryse nods. "It is great though. Look at the four of us right now. Michelle is doing a great job as a new mom. Marissa is pregnant without being in the process of actually trying. I'm getting married in a couple months, and Eve is holding down the fort as Divas Champion. We're doing great for ourselves."
"Yeah, we all are doing so well right now."
Chelle smiles. "All of us are going to be going through something positive for the time being."
"Morning sickness sucks though." I comment.
"That stopped for me mostly after my first trimester."
"That's great."
"Anyway, let's keep all of this positive energy for now. It'd do us all some good."
I nod as Randy RKOs Ricardo Rodriguez after losing to a roll up pin. "Randy lost and is still doing that too."
Chelle smiles as Randy stares at Alberto Del Rio as John locks Dolph into a STF on the stage. "Even our men are giving the positive energy at the moment."
