Robin stretched as he shielded his eyes from the sun. It was a somewhat mild day, but the sun was out in full force. Just as well for him. This was his first festival since returning from defeating Grima and he was eager to enjoy it. There was one person he was especially looking forward to seeing as she had been away when he got back having taken a while to track down in her search for him ironically enough.

Robin smiled as he finally met her beautiful eyes in the crowd. She looked radiant in her flowing white dress which really took him by surprise. He had never seen her show so much skin, not that he was complaining. She smiled as she spotted him as well, and he could have sworn his stomach was dancing its way into a knot as he started walking towards her.

"Hey Robin," The tactician stopped in his tracks as a firm hand gripped his shoulder before the owner of the hand stepped into view. "Good to see you're enjoying yourself," Chrom chuckled, "Wasn't too sure about these outfits myself."

"Oh, um, Chrom," Robin cleared his throat but rebounded quickly and was quickly looking just as happy to see his friend as usual, "Yeah, but it's not that different from what I usually wear anyway."

"I guess that's true. Say, I saw a food stand nearby. Wanna check it out?"

"Oh, I guess that could be fun, but…what about Sumia?"

"She wasn't feeling well this morning," Chrom shrugged, "This pregnancy has been a lot rougher than the last. Still, she insisted I go anyway while Lissa had already volunteered to spend the day with little Lucy. So I figured that since I was on my own for the day, we could relive the bachelor days."

"I see, but I was actually hoping to talk with Lucina a bit and–"

"Oh! That's fine, she can come along too! It'll be fun."

"Yeah…fun."

"Mmm, these are delicious," Chrom spoke over a mouthful of food while Robin had his head down on the table.

"Yeah, they're great."

"Not feeling well? I thought Lissa gave you a clean bill of health?"

"She did," Robin lifted his head and smiled, "Don't worry, I'm fine." He did, however, wish Lucina would hurry back. She had excused herself suddenly and had been gone for several minutes now. Normally time alone with Chrom was nothing to dread, but things were a bit awkward as he worked out how to tell Chrom he had the hots for his daughter.

As if to conveniently grant his wish, Lucina came back to the table with…"Reflet?"

"What's up, bro?" His sister slid into a chair between him and Chrom, "Hope you don't mind if I sit in."

"Of course not," Chrom nodded, "The more the merrier."

"Reflet," Robin nodded trying to hide his confusion. Hate was a strong word, but Lucina and Reflet did not get along very well to say the least. Especially once Reflet had caught on that there was something going on between him and the bluenette. So then why did Lucina seem so fine with her presence here?

"You feeling okay? You wanna take a break?" Reflet commented while very obviously looking between him and Lucina repeatedly while mouthing 'go on.'

Robin's expression lightened up as he got the drift. He had no idea what was going on with his sister, but he decided to roll with it. However, before he could, Chrom, in his endless good intentions, spoke up.

"We have been here a while. Might be good to take a rest."

Reflet had to force herself to not actually facepalm. She was about to work out an on-the-fly plan B, but fortunately for her, Plan O pulled through. That is, Owain was his usual self.

"Hark! The power of my bonds is too strong for mortals to comprehend!" Owain could be heard shouting as he ran through the town.

"Owain!" Lissa ran after him with little Lucy in tow who waved upon seeing her father, "Calm down! You're scaring the town kids!"

"Lissa? Lucy?" Chrom grimaced, "Sumia's gonna kill me if she hears about this. Pregnant or not."

"Come on," Reflet stood up, "I'll help you catch em."

"Right," Chrom nodded, "Thanks."

As the two ran off, Robin finally addressed Lucina, "So, that just happened."

"Indeed," Lucina smiled putting her cup down, "When I had asked Reflet for help, I did not expect it to go quite like that, but while you are order, she is chaos I suppose."

"Wait," Robin looked to incredulously, "You actually asked Reflet for help? My sister? And she agreed?"

"It took some convincing, but after I told her of our plight, she was content enough to help. For all our differences, she does at least want you to be happy."

"She does," Robin leaned back smiling fondly, "I'll have to thank her. Before that though," Robin reached across the table and grabbed her hand, "I'm glad you stayed. I was really afraid you wouldn't be here when I got back."

"I know I said I had a duty to return, but…I could not do that while you were out there potentially alone. I would not rest until you were brought home, and well," Lucina looked away blushing, "I suppose I decided to indulge a little by coming here today. It was…nice. Even if I had hoped for a bit more time…alone."

"He means well," Robin sighed, but his smile did not falter, "But he can be a bit clueless at times which, hey, has helped in my endeavor to keep my head so far."

"He's not going to behead you, Robin," Lucina sternly replied remembering the first time Robin had jokingly mentioned beheading if Chrom found out about them.

"I hope not. Then I couldn't see your beautiful face."

"Flatterer," Lucina looked away blushing. Had it been anyone else, it would have failed miserably.

"But seriously, I'm glad that you chose to indulge a little. In fact, I was hoping that you would maybe indulge a lot more in the future." Robin dug into his pockets and pulled out a small box that held a ring, "I hope its not too sudden, but, uh, I was hoping you would stay permanently…with me."

"Robin, I…when did you even have time to find a ring?"

"Oh well, I had a few days before you got here, and I knew you were coming for the festival. I did what any good tactician would do and seized my chance. So," Robin got on his knees, "What do you say? Will you stay with me?"

"I…" Lucina swallowed and smiled, "Yes, yes I think I will."

Robin shot up and pulled Lucina into a tight embrace, "I'm glad. We'll make tons of memories together. I promise I'll make you happy."

"I know you will, Robin. I know you will."

As the two leaned in to kiss, they did not quite make it before a feminine cough caught their attention to where Reflet was standing beside a deathly still Chrom. Then Chrom walked up and put a hand on Robin's shoulder once again, but this time it was far firmer and less friendly.

"Care to explain?"

A/N: Alright, so next Exalt Morgan update may actually be as its own story. For that, I may remove them from here before reposting them there, maybe with extra content added in.
