SmackDown Filming: January 8, 2013
I'm half asleep on the couch in our locker-room when Randy walks in. I don't move to look at him as I'm really tired.
"You awake over there?" Randy asks with a joking tone.
"Barely." I mutter.
Randy sat down next to me. "Are you doing okay?"
"Just tired, babe."
Randy kissed my forehead. "Pregnancy getting to you?"
I smile as I turn to look at him. "A little bit."
"Sorry to hear that, Marissa." Randy grabs my waist. "I love you, sweetheart."
"I love you too." I whisper.
"Forever and always." Randy starts to kiss me.
"Forever and always." I kiss him back.
Colby walked in while Randy and I were still kissing. "Hey, guys. Oh, gross, you're making out."
I roll my eyes as Randy and I stop kissing. "Grow up, Colby."
"Sorry I don't want to see my older sister in a makeout session."
"Sorry I don't care. I'm married."
Randy gave a soft chuckle. "Yeah, plus it's not like this baby just magically appeared."
"That's disgusting." Colby comments.
I laugh before kissing Randy's cheek. "Deal with it."
Randy nodded. "Exactly, anyway, what's up?"
"I wanted to discuss what's going on with this stuff tonight."
I raise an eyebrow. "What stuff?"
Randy put his arm around me. "I'm wrestling Antonio Cesaro tonight. However, it would be bad for either of us to lose right now, so the Shield is going to attack me to continue our storyline that way neither Cesaro or I get pinned."
"Oh, that makes sense."
Colby nods. "Yeah, I wanted to make sure we were on the same page about what we are doing with that tonight."
"Well, I figured you would beat the crap out of me and then Triple Powerbomb me in the middle of the ring, plain and simple." Randy tells Colby.
"Sounds like we're on the exact same page."
"We should be."
"Good, I guess I'll see you two later. You can go back to smooching on my sister now, Randy."
I roll my eyes. "Get out of my locker-room, loser."
Colby rolls his eyes at me. "That's exactly what I'm doing."
Colby exits the locker-room.
Randy pulls me into a kiss. "Where were we?"
"Enjoying our alone time, I believe." I give him a small smile.
I lay on the couch as I watched Randy's match against Antonio Cesaro. Randy seemed to be doing quite well, but I was having a hard time getting into it since I already knew what was going to happen.
I still watched the match though because my husband was wrestling and I'm supportive. I watch as Randy hits Antonio Cesaro with the Draping DDT before preparing for the RKO. The Shield starts attacking him. They kick Randy as he's down before the three hit Randy with a Triple Powerbomb.
I watch the monitor in my locker-room. I knew it was all a storyline, and I was happy for my brother. However, seeing Randy get beat up always bothered me significantly.
I rub my baby bump. "It's okay. It's all a storyline."
I sigh and grab my phone as I wait for Randy to come back. I notice that I have a missed call from Tyler. I sigh before getting rid of the notification without calling him back. I have no intention of talking to him for the time being.
Randy walks in and immediately gives me a concerned look. "Is everything alright?"
I shake my head. "Tyler called me."
"Did you answer it?"
"I missed it actually. I'm not calling him back."
"What did he want?"
"I don't know. He didn't leave a voicemail."
"I see." Randy walks over and starts rubbing my shoulders. "Are you going to be okay?"
"Yeah, I'm not calling him back though, especially without knowing what he called me for. Did he call you?"
Randy checks his phone. "No, he didn't call me. Maybe he heard about you being pregnant."
"That's possible. I'm just not going to bother myself with this right now. If that's what he called about, he could've left me a voicemail."
Randy sighs. "I know. Let's just relax right now. Can you just take a deep breath and relax for me?"
I nod. "I think so. Thanks, Randy."
Randy and I were laying in bed together. Neither of us had spoken for at least an hour, but I knew he was still awake. I was almost certain he knew that I was still awake too.
"I want to start reading to the baby." Randy whispers in my ear.
"You want to read to the baby?" I ask as I turn to look at him.
Randy nodded. "I do. This kid is going to recognize my voice when he's born."
"Okay, I want him to recognize your voice. You're his dad. It'll be nice."
Randy smiles and kisses my forehead. "He's going to recognize your voice too, ya know."
I smiled. "I know, Randy. I'm starting to get nervous about what happens when I go on maternity leave."
"Why's that?"
"It's just weird. You and I…we do so much together, and working together is probably the main thing that helps us work as a couple. We travel together and eat meals and workout together, as well as many other things. I think I'm afraid of being alone for a few days a week."
Randy moved closer to me. "I understand why you're concerned, but everything will be okay. We'll make it work. We still have almost three months until we have to worry about that. We'll have a plan by then."
I start to have tears in my eyes. "I hope so."
Randy caresses my face. "Rissa, we will figure things out. Plus, we'll talk to each other everyday. We both know that. Everything is going to be okay."
"I'm just nervous about things."
"I know. I figured you would be. We'll figure things out."
"I'm sure we will figure things out."
"And we should start with his room."
"That sounds like a plan to me."
"Good, let's go to bed now. Goodnight, Rissa."
"Goodnight, I love you."
"I love you too."
