Raw: January 21, 2013

I sighed as I laid on the couch, putting my hand on my baby bump. As of yesterday, I am sixteen weeks pregnant. It was weird being this far along, as I'm almost halfway through my pregnancy already. On top of that, things had been a bit awkward since Randy and I had our debate over naming the baby. I had tried to bring it up once, and Randy had completely dodged the subject. I didn't like having this unspoken tension between us, especially when it involved the baby. I glanced at the door, curious about when Randy would actually come back to the locker-room as he had practically left the locker-room as soon as we had arrived.

Randy finally walked back in and set a plate down in front of me. "Here."

I look at him. "Thanks, but I didn't ask for food."

"I know."

"Do you have a match tonight?"

"Yes, I'm facing Antonio Cesaro as part of a Beat the Clock Challenge."

"That sounds like a lot of fun."

Randy shrugs. "Not really."

"Why not?"

"I'm the guy setting the time."

"Oh, I see. That's not fun."

Randy sat down next to me and pulled me close. "Tonight is just one of those nights where I'm not really in a mood to wrestle."

"I bet you'll do great."

"I hope so."

"You're Randy Orton. Being great is what you do."

"Glad to know you're confident in me." Randy caressed my face. "I love you so much."

"I love you too."

Randy kissed my forehead. "What would I do without you?"

I smile. "Who knows?"

"Do you miss wrestling?"

I raise an eyebrow. "Why are you asking me that?"

Randy shrugged. "I was just curious. You haven't wrestled since October."

"I miss it, but I'm carrying a child. It's not like I can wrestle right now. Hell, I don't have enough energy in me while pregnant that if I could not harm the baby and wrestle, I'd still not wrestle."

Randy nods. "I hear you, sweetheart."

I watched as Randy beat Antonio Cesaro. He had set the time for the Beat the Clock Challenge. We'd have to watch to see if he won the challenge. I ran my hand across my bump as my phone started to ring. I saw that it was Tyler and threw the phone across the locker-room. I wasn't in any mood to talk with him.

Randy walked in the locker-room slowly and noticed the phone on the locker-room floor. "Hey, what happened?"

I sigh. "Tyler called my phone."

Randy sat down next to me. "I see. Are you alright?"

"I didn't answer it."

"I didn't think that you would. You don't want to walk into a conversation with him without knowing what he wants in advance."

"Exactly. How quickly did you win your match?"

"Eleven minutes and thirty-six seconds."

"That's not a bad time at all."

"Hopefully, nobody will beat my time."

"We'll just have to wait and see."

Randy grabbed my hand. "Yeah, that's what we'll have to do. Man, I love you."

"I love you too."

Randy placed a hand on my hip. "You're so supportive, ya know?"

"What kind of wife would I be if I wasn't supportive?"

Randy kissed my cheek. "That's something I'll never have to think about. You're always supportive."

I lean on him. "Listen, about our discussion at the wedding, I…"

Randy pressed a finger up to my lips. "Not right now. We don't need any more drama."

"Am I going to be able to climb up on your lap when I gain more pregnancy weight?"

Randy pulled me onto his lap. "That won't stop me from allowing you in my lap."

"Why are you so amazing?"

"Because my love for you makes me so happy. I'd give you the world if I could."

"I appreciate you so much."

"I appreciate you too."

"I don't know how I'm going to handle coming back after my maternity leave. I barely have friends here anymore."

Randy laughed. "You can just spend all your time with me."

"You would want me to do that."

"Of course. I married you because I want to spend time with you."

"I appreciate it."

Cody, John, Randy, and I all sat together at a booth, eating dinner at a small local restaurant after the Raw filming.

"So I'm excited about the Royal Rumble on Sunday." John comments.

Cody rolls his eyes. "Of course you are. You actually have a good chance of winning it."

"Are you not excited about the Royal Rumble?"

"I'm excited to get a chance to win the Tag Team Championships, but I'm wrestling two matches in one night. One of them is the Royal Rumble match. It's not very thrilling to me."

"You could've chosen to not enter the Royal Rumble." Randy mutters. "Then you wouldn't be in this situation. Don't complain about it."

"He makes a fair point, Cody." John comments with a laugh.

"Whatever, you both are annoying me. Rissa, how'd you deal with them for this long?"

I shrug. "Half the time they're together, I tune them out."

John looks at me. "Rude much?"

Randy laughs. "I've known that for a while honestly."

"It should be expected at this point." I comment.

Randy wraps an arm around me. "I don't mind anyway. I've been driving you nuts for eighteen years."

"You claim I was annoying you."

"You were a little bit when we were kids, but you're not that bad."

"Oh, I beg to differ." John comments.

Randy looks at John. "Shut up, man."

I roll my eyes. "I'm used to that from you anyway, Cena."

"It's weird that only four of us are here now." Cody comments.

"Ted will be back from his honeymoon next week."

"I know, but it's still weird. We don't hang out in a group this small pretty much ever."

"Well, things are changing. Three out of the four girls are retired now, and Rissa is pregnant and will be on maternity leave in a couple months." John tells Cody.

"I know. It's just weird."

I nod. "A lot of things are weird honestly."
