I pull Randy close to me. "You smell so good right now."
Randy laughs. "Are there times where I don't smell good?"
"After your matches for sure."
Randy pulls me into his arms. "You really seem to be in a mood to pick on me."
"Am I wrong?"
"No, but you do want to pick on me."
"Maybe a little, but it's only joking around."
"I know, beautiful. How are you feeling?"
"I'm alright. You know, the usual. Not feeling horrible, but I'm tired."
"Pregnancy makes you tired."
"I know."
"Maybe I can convince Booker T to let us leave as soon as I'm done wrestling Drew McIntyre tonight, and you can sleep while we ride home on the tour bus."
"Honestly, that sounds amazing."
"I figured you would like that idea." Randy places a hand on my baby bump. "And I can read to him while you are falling asleep."
I smile at Randy. "I love you, handsome."
Randy pulls me into a kiss. "I love you too."
"I can't wait to be on our tour bus." I mutter between our kissing. "We can just relax and sleep and spend time together."
"It'll be absolutely peaceful." Randy whispers.
"I really can't keep my hands off of you."
"Good, I can't keep my hands off of you either."
"Ahem." Colby says from the doorway.
I look at him as Randy and I stop kissing. "Why are you so rude? We were in the middle of something."
"Yeah, yeah, you two were in the middle of making out. Whatever. I wanted to talk to the two of you. Really, I mainly wanted to talk to you, Rissa."
"Okay…what's up?"
"How's the pregnancy coming along? We haven't talked much in a while, and I know pregnancy can be a bit rough."
"Oh, I'm doing fine. I'm always tired, but both the baby and I are healthy."
"That's good to hear. Has Tyler called either of you recently?"
"Uh, yeah. He has actually." Randy answers. "Why are you asking?"
"Because he called me last night and didn't leave a voicemail."
"He's called me twice now and done the same thing." I comment.
"He did it once to me too." Randy adds.
"No voicemails?"
"No voicemails."
"When was the last time either of you talked to him?"
"When we were at the bar the night of Survivor Series."
Colby sighs. "I talked to him last the morning afterwards. Who knows what he wants?"
"I thought maybe he knew I'm pregnant, but why would he call you about that?" I wonder out loud.
"I don't know. Maybe he wants to talk about something else."
"An apology would be nice."
Colby laughs. "I bet. You'd think he would leave at least one voicemail though."
"I guess not."
"Okay, well, I'm going to get ready for the show now. Talk to you guys later."
"Bye, Colby." Randy and I both say as Colby exits the locker-room.
I look at Randy. "He needs to leave a voicemail at this point."
Randy nods. "I know, sweetheart."
I stood in guerilla as Randy won his match against Drew McIntyre by Disqualification due to Jinder Mahal getting involved. He lays out all three members of 3MB when they try to attack him after the match. Randy then heads backstage.
I smile as soon as I see him backstage. "The Viper strikes again."
Randy laughed as he pulled me into his arms. "And he struck outta nowhere."
"You did so good out there."
"Thank you, beautiful."
"You beat all three of them without anyone's help."
Randy shrugs. "What can I say? I'm Randy Orton."
"I don't know about you, but I think you could win the Royal Rumble on Sunday."
"I know that there's a lot of tough competition in the Royal Rumble, but I agree with you one hundred percent."
"You should because I'm right."
Randy laughed. "I hope you know that I'm going to do my best at least."
I nod. "I know. Did you talk to Booker T?"
"I did talk to Booker T."
"And?"
"We can go ahead and head home. Just let me change back into normal clothes in our locker-room before we head to the tour bus."
"That's cool with me."
I sat in the bed on the tour bus with Randy as I watched him play his video game. He was doing well and was very happy about it. However, I was letting my own thoughts bother me.
Randy had been avoiding talking about our small fight over naming the baby at the wedding ever since it happened. I had tried to bring it up multiple times, and he just kept dodging the conversation. I didn't understand why. The baby is due in just over five months, but I thought we needed to talk about this as soon as possible. Randy keeps pushing it off. Personally, I'd like to talk about the silent small amount of tension between us ever since then as well as work on figuring out a first name for our son, but it seemed like nothing could bring Randy to talk about it.
I would love to talk about it now, but I knew it wasn't a good time. Royal Rumble is on Sunday, and it was always a stressful time for the roster. I could tell Randy was stressed about it himself. I figured that I should likely wait until after it's over at least.
I let out a small yawn as I tried to keep my attention on Randy's video game. I knew I was starting to get too tired for it.
"Babe," I say as I watch Randy. "I'm going to go to sleep."
Randy pauses his game and looks at me. "Okay…are you alright?"
"Yeah," I nod. "I'm just really tired."
"Oh, do I need to turn off my game so you can sleep?"
I shake my head. "No, it's fine. Thanks though."
"Alright then." Randy kisses my forehead. "Goodnight, babe. I love you."
I lay down under the blankets. "I love you too. Goodnight."
