Lucina stared out at the sunset as she thought. It looked so familiar, as it should she supposed. She had been in this world for quite some time. It was in reality the only world she truly knew, but the sight still brought to mind thoughts of another world. One she had never been to, but her original had.

Lifting her hand, she looked through the semi-transparent appendage. It was not hard for them to figure out that they were not who they initially thought. Especially when they got together and compared stories. Everything from before was a bit too fuzzy, a bit too vague. It was Marth's idea to refer to themselves as "Emblem" versions, seeing as Emblem was what the term that the natives of the world had given them.

Being bound to a ring, a corruptible ring no less, was not exactly ideal, but they made due with it. Some better than others. However, over the centuries, they all came to terms with it and decided to live in ways to do their legacies proud. That said, sometimes the thoughts still came to her unbidden.

She wondered if the real Lucina had lived a happy life. She would have been long dead by now, of course, but it was something that she thought about from time to time.

From talking with the others, it seemed that parts of her memories were a bit foggier than most of the others' in parts. She did not understand why, but in a sense, she thought it may have been for the better. Main reason being that what she did remember clearly was often nightmarish, and some of the tidbits just made her heart ache.

It was only bits and pieces, but she remembered him. Lucina, the real one, had been in love. She could see why Lucina fell for him given what she remembered. She would have fallen for him too.

Which made it all the more cruel that she even had those memories. To make her so close to the original while keeping out something so important. She was not alone in this. Marth tried to hide it, but he longed for a Caeda of his own, Celica craved Alm's embrace, and so on.

Emblem Lucina thought about the possibility of visiting other worlds. Would the real Lucina's descendents still be around? She could not remember much about her having children, but she did think that Lucina wanted a fairly large family. Though, she wondered if it would be for the best if she never met them if they did exist.

She was not their ancestor anymore than the man in those memories was her husband. Not that she would steal him from the real Lucina even if she could. They had been happy together, and she would not want to get in between that. All the same, there were many times she wished she had such a man of her own.

After all, it seemed unfair to make such a realistic Lucina copy, and not make a Robin one as well.

A/N: Short little speculative one shot. Seems the Emblems aren't the real ones so lead to some thinking. And while I'm not a big fan of some of the designs and them leaving Chrom out in addition to being concerned what they might do to Lucina in supports, as it stands, I'll probably get Engage.
