SmackDown Filming: January 29, 2013
Randy sat on the couch in our locker-room with his head in his hands. I watched him silently, hoping he would say something soon. I sigh before slowly going to exit the locker-room to go get food from Catering.
"Where are you going?" Randy asks.
"Catering, you aren't talking to me, and I'm a bit hungry." I quietly replied.
Randy sighed as he looked at me. "Sorry, I've just got a lot on my mind."
"I do too, but you've barely talked to me since last night. I am really upset after what Brock did too, ya know?"
Randy nodded. "That's what bothers me. Putting his hands on Vince wouldn't matter as much to me if he wasn't the father of my pregnant wife. Then, Heyman said what he said. I was getting close to beating him to a pulp."
"I know. Am I starting to act like a little bitch?"
"No, you're not. You have moments where you get a little bitchy but nothing else."
I sighed. "Thanks, babe. I know I have my moments."
"I'd beat Brock Lesnar up for you."
"I appreciate it, but I think Triple H is working on that already."
"Well if someone else needs to get involved, I'm there."
I kissed him. Randy grabbed me and pulled me close. I pulled out of the kiss slowly. Randy gave me a confused look.
"I'm really upset right now." I whisper.
Randy held me close. "I know, but don't you worry, I'm here."
"I know, but it doesn't stop me from worrying about my dad."
"I know that you're worried, but you can't help him any. You need to understand that."
"I do. It just doesn't stop me from worrying."
"Well, I guess I'll just have to occupy your time with other things when we get home."
"I know what you're suggesting."
"You should."
"I need to just worry about these last couple months of work and making sure my pregnancy is still going well."
Randy gave me a genuine smile. "You will. You're Marissa Orton. That's what you do. You keep your priorities straight and get things done."
"You're a good man. I hope you know that."
"And you're an amazing woman."
"Do you have an opponent for tonight?"
Randy smirked. "It's Wade Barrett."
"Well, that's not bad at all."
"Honestly, I'm looking forward to it."
"Hoping to get a spot in the Elimination Chamber?"
"I wouldn't be mad if I did get a spot."
I grabbed my phone as I watched Randy's match against Wade from our locker-room. I had been feeling tense due to Randy and I having different ways of dealing with my father getting attacked by Brock Lesnar. I went to go text Chelle, but my phone started to ring. Tyler was once again calling me. I declined the call. I texted Chelle.
Me: Tyler just called me again. This is exhausting.
I watched Randy RKO and pin Wade to win the match. "That's my man. My baby daddy."
I see a text from Chelle.
Chelle: Again? Did he leave a voicemail?
Me: No.
I looked down at my baby bump. I was finally starting to get used to being pregnant. It was not so weird to me anymore. I was going to have a son in a little less than five months, and I was excited about the thought.
Randy walked in. "I won."
I smile at him. "I saw. Congratulations. Hear anything about being in the Elimination Chamber?"
"Not yet, hopefully I will soon."
"I think you'll get in. You're too good not to."
Randy smirks. "I know."
"You and that damn ego."
Randy laughs. "You love it, and you know it."
"It's a part of you. That's that. It comes with the rest of you."
"And you love the rest of me."
"Of course I do."
Randy starts changing back into regular clothes. "Did I miss anything interesting while I was wrestling?"
"Tyler called me again."
"Did you answer it?"
"No, I completely declined the call."
"Did he leave a voicemail?"
"What do you think?"
"I take that as a no."
"You would be correct. He didn't."
"How many times will it take him to learn better?"
"Am I rude for continuing to not talk to him?"
"No, Rissa, you're not, especially after the way he treated you."
I shrug. "I just feel weird, but he was acting toxic."
"He was, but you do whatever you feel like doing."
I nod. "I know. Randy, won't you just hang out with me for the rest of the night?"
"What else would I do?"
I laugh. "You're an amazing husband. What would I do without you?"
"I love you. You won't ever have to worry about that."
"I can't believe you actually turned me into a housewife."
Randy pulled me close. "You aren't there quite yet."
"I will be though."
Randy sat on the bed at the hotel with me. "I am so happy to be with you."
I nod. "I'm happy too."
Randy sighed as he kissed me. "I'm going to take care of you. You and this baby."
"You're still pissed about Brock."
"Of course I am. What would you expect?"
"I'm just worried about you."
"Why?"
"Because you get pissed and then you stop talking."
"And you hate that."
"I do."
"Most wives want their husbands to shut up."
"Not me. Talk, Randal, that's all I ask."
He kissed my forehead. "You're so amazing."
"Thank you, Randy. So are you. The best."
"What if I take time off after you give birth too?"
"You want to take time off after I give birth?"
"Yeah, I think work is giving me stress, and I'd feel better if I could stay home a little bit after you have the baby. I could help out."
I smile at Randy. "I'll leave that up to you. I would be on board with that if you do, but I'm not going to force you."
"Well I'm considering it, just so you know."
I lean against him. "Okay."
