Robin, honestly, was not really paying attention to where he was going. All he knew was that the girls were being oddly clingy, and he needed some space. So, in a rare moment of absentmindedness, Robin had no idea where he was when he slipped into a room.

Catching his breath, the white haired man let out a sigh of relief. That was until he looked up to see a certain bluenette looking at him wide eyed.

"Lucina! What are you doing here?" Robin asked in a mild panic.

"It is my room," She pointed out and looking around, Robin confirmed that it was indeed Lucina's room complete with hideous decorations that were oddly charming if just to him.

"So it is," A nervous chuckle accompanied his words as Lucina looked him over. He felt very self conscious in this suit, but his male friends had insisted he dress up for the occasion. Their attempts to set him up had gotten increasingly less subtle.

"Why are you here?" Lucina finally broke the awkward silence.

"Taking refuge," Robin admitted with a sigh and hand through his hair, "Some of the girls seem…a bit too eager. Not sure they got the memo that this is all for show."

"Perhaps they are really into it." Lucina believed she knew why they were acting that way. It was why she was holed up in her room.

"Seems a bit extreme," Robin had a thought, "Come to think of it, didn't you love dressing up for festivals in Ylisse? I'm surprised you aren't all dressed up."

"I…this particular festival may not be suited for me. I fear I'd be a terrible bride."

Robin smiled softly, "I don't buy that for one second. Besides, it's more of dressing up to dress up. There's little actual romance going on during these."

"That's kind of you to say, but I think I'm better off in here."

"Huh, well, mind if I keep you company then? I do kind of still need a hiding spot. Out there it's only a matter of time until Tiki sniffs me out. Either one. The small one has a nose like a blood hound it seems like sometimes."

This did get Lucina to giggle unsure if he was serious or not, "Very well, I suppose you can stay for a while."

"Much obliged," Robin bowed and Lucina could not help the smile on her face even if she felt this was a bad idea. The two sat and talked for a bit like they used to. Before their lives had gotten even crazier than before. Then, of course, he asked.

"So are you sure you don't want to participate?"

"It's not like you can get a wedding dress made and fitted in an hour, Robin."

"What about the battle dress from home? You looked beautiful in it." Robin's face heated up, "I mean, you're always lovely, you, uh, any guy would…be lucky to have you as a bride. There's no reason to hide away."

"And…what if it's not just any guy I want?" Lucina looked away, "Besides, what about you? You're here hidden away, and you were the guest of honor."

"I'm not that big of a deal. Besides, I think the young Tiki has distracted them."

"Why are you hiding anyway? I'm sure you could have any of them you wanted if you asked."

"Well," Robin spoke deliberately, "What if I don't want just any woman?"

Lucina stiffened up a bit and finally looked back toward him, "Then…if not one of them, who?"

"Let's see, she'd have to be strong, courageous, cute, and beautiful as well as plenty of other things equally as wonderful and even mundane. A woman I truly adore and have for some time."

"Then…maybe you should just tell her. I'm sure she'll be more than accepting."

"Alright then," Robin shifted so that he could hold her hands in his own, "It's you, Lucina."

"I…" Lucina pulled him into the embrace, "I never thought I'd hear you say it. I had given up with the others pursuing you."

"Heh, I wonder if they were trying to make you jealous. In hindsight it did seem a bit sudden."

"Well, it worked," Lucina leaned back and pouted, making Robin laugh.

"Unfortunately, the ring is really a tome more or less," Robin held up the box, "So not really suited for gifting. I…don't even know if it comes out honestly."

"I appreciate the thought," Lucina leaned her head against his shoulder, "But I don't need a gift. Though I suppose you'd still like to go back to the festival if they aren't looking for you anymore."

"I'm in no rush," Robin smiled, "I have all I need right here."

A/N: I'm not dead! I've actually been working on a decently sized project, but I don't want to post till I have most of it done.
