"I'm wrestling Kane tonight." Randy comments as soon as I walk into the locker-room.
I nod. "Unfortunately, I already knew about that. Be careful, Randy."
"I will, sweetheart."
I sat down on the couch and looked down at my baby bump. I hoped that my stress wasn't affecting my son. I knew that I needed to get my stress in check as soon as possible.
Randy looked at me, but he didn't say anything. We had essentially established that neither of us were handling things well at the moment. We barely spoke of it, but we both knew it was the case.
"I think I'm going to schedule a therapy appointment this week." I comment. "I haven't really been going lately, but I think I need it this week."
"Okay. Do you want me to drive you to it?"
"If you want to, I wouldn't oppose it. You don't have to though. If you need to spend time with Al, do that."
"Maybe I can drop you off and take her to do stuff before picking you up."
"That could be the case."
"Don't forget you have a doctor's appointment on Thursday though."
"I knew that actually. Thanks though."
"I can't believe you're halfway through this pregnancy."
"You and me both."
"I'm getting more and more excited each week though."
I smiled. "Me too."
"That's the first smile I've seen from you in days."
"You know why that is though."
Randy sat next to me. "It's been rough for the past four days. I don't think I've been smiling either."
"You've been quiet."
"That's what you keep saying."
"It's true."
Randy kissed my forehead. "I have been quiet, and you've been stressing out."
I nod. "Yeah."
"I'm here to help. Remember that."
"I know."
Randy looked at the TV. "I think your dad just said that he's going to fight Heyman next week."
I look at the TV myself. "He said what?"
"Good for him. He'd kick Paul's ass."
"If Brock doesn't get involved."
Randy sighs. "If Brock doesn't get involved."
I sat in my office as Randy had his match against Kane. I always worried about Randy, but at the end of the day, I knew Randy was plenty capable of winning this match against Kane tonight. I hear a knock on my door.
"It's open." I say as I keep my eyes focused on Randy's match.
Colby walks in. "Hey, I talked to Tyler and told him he wasn't invited to come to WrestleMania this year unless he's buying his own ticket, which still wouldn't allow him backstage."
I glance at Colby. "And?"
"And he proceeded to bitch and run his mouth that I'm not being reasonable. Something about you getting everything you want. Another thing about the two of us acting like we're better than him. He claimed we're cutting him off because he's having a kid with Lauren. Pretty much, a bunch of stupid crap."
"So about what I figured?"
"Pretty much."
"Why would we cut him off for having a kid?"
"I don't know. I think he's lost it."
"At this point, I might agree. Are you gonna sit down?"
Colby sits down. "Is it just me or has he always had a tendency to get a bit hostile at times?"
"He has. It's not just you."
"He's always been like that?"
"Always."
"He seemed hostile towards me when I was first around you two and partially blamed me for Mom leaving you guys."
"I know."
"I thought that was a one time thing."
"He's had a tendency to get hostile towards weird things. I think it's because of what happened with Mom. I'm in therapy, and I think he'd benefit from it too. He'd never do it though."
"You're not wrong about that."
"I don't think Lauren's behavior is helping things with us, but I'm not going to tolerate a bunch of crap when I need to be limiting the amount of stress in my life right now."
"I don't blame you. You'd think he would understand that considering Lauren is also pregnant."
I shrug. "I think he has jealousy issues."
"We both do make more money than him. You've been in a long term relationship, which has always been a struggle for him. He could be."
"I don't flaunt my relationship, do I?"
"I don't think so. Randy and you do show each other off a little and show public affection, but that's normal. It's probably jealousy issues."
"Sorry about venting."
"Don't be. Anyway, how's my nephew doing in there?"
I laugh. "Good. I have a doctor's appointment on Thursday, so I'll get to see more progress with him."
"That's good. I'm honestly so excited for you."
"I mean you get a nephew. You should be excited."
"I am very excited."
"Me too, but I'm nervous at the same time."
Randy hits Kane with an RKO and pins him.
1…2…3!
"Here is your winner, Randy Orton!"
Colby looks at me. "Are you having a baby shower?"
"Honestly…you're the first person to ask that." I comment.
"Do you think you'll have one?"
"Uh…probably, considering I'm hitting my third trimester soon, I'll probably try for after WrestleMania but before Extreme Rules."
"That's good. I figured you would have wanted one soon."
"Yeah…I just…I just haven't thought about it really."
"That's fair. You still haven't decided on a name for the baby."
"He has a middle name."
"Not a first name though."
I roll my eyes. "Whatever."
Randy walks in. "Hey."
I smile. "Congratulations on the win."
Randy sat next to me. "Thanks, beautiful. Hey, Colby."
Colby nods. "Hey, Randy."
"So what are we talking about?" Randy pulls me close to him.
"Colby just asked me about us having a baby shower." I answer.
Randy raised an eyebrow. "We haven't talked about that at all."
I shrug. "No…we haven't, but I'm thinking that we could do it after WrestleMania but before Extreme Rules. I'll be in my third trimester. It's about time we think about it."
"Okay. That's fine with me."
"Thanks, babe."
