SmackDown Filming: March 19, 2013
Randy sighs as he stretches in our locker-room. "I've got to do Miz TV and then there's another match against 3MB tonight."
I look at him. "You sound so thrilled."
"I'm not. I've been in Tag Team matches against them in some capacity so much lately."
"Hey, WrestleMania is here soon. You'll be fine."
"I hope so. How are you feeling right now?"
"I'm actually feeling pretty good at the moment."
"That's good. You look pretty damn good too."
I blush. "Are you flirting before you're even ready for your match?"
"I've only got a couple more stretches to do."
"If you say so."
Randy finishes stretching. "You do look amazing though."
"You don't look too bad yourself, Randal."
"Is that right, Marissa?" Randy sits down and pulls me close. "I know that I have an effect on you."
I smile at him. "That isn't a lie."
Randy kissed me. "Good, you have one on me too."
I give him a confused look. "Is that all the kissing I get?"
Randy pulled me into another, longer kiss. "All you had to do was ask."
We both hear the door open, but neither of us stops kissing to acknowledge it.
"I'm just gonna leave." Colby mutters.
"Come back later. I'm busy." I comment.
"Me too." Randy whispers.
"I need air." I move out of the kiss but still lean against Randy.
Randy kept his grip on me. "Are you good?"
I nod. "Yeah, I'm fine. I love you so much."
"I love you too."
"You'll be just fine tonight, Randy. You can handle this match and Miz TV just fine. If Miz or anyone else is an issue, then you can go hit an RKO on them with no hesitation."
"And this is why you're the best wife in the world."
"Only because you're a fantastic husband."
"Am I not the best?"
"You are the best. Trust me."
Randy sighed as he pulled me close. "Thanks. I really would love to just go home."
"After all this, we can."
"Great, but I wish I didn't have to deal with this stuff tonight."
"We can go as soon as you're done, Randy. I'm fine with that."
"Good because it's what we're doing."
I nodded. "Fair enough. The pregnant, tired lady isn't going to argue."
Randy kissed my forehead. "You could sleep a lot on the way home."
"I probably will." I look up at him. "I'm gonna miss being here with you."
"I'm not working much after you go on maternity leave. Like I said before, I'm asking your dad for time off after you give birth."
"What if he doesn't allow it?"
"He will."
"You can't just assume that…"
"He'll allow it. I'll take time off and help you out."
"I'll appreciate it. You need to get ready to head to guerilla."
"I know." Randy mumbles before kissing my forehead.
"You aren't moving an inch to go."
"I know. I don't want to let you go."
"You have to go wrestle though, Randy."
Randy starts moving to leave. "I know that. Don't go anywhere while I'm gone."
"I won't, unless it's the bathroom."
"That's fair. See you soon."
I watch Randy leave for his segment of Miz TV.
Randy came back and sat down next to me. "I'm so annoyed."
I lean on him. "I know, babe."
"Those two are struggling so much to get along. I'm not sure if things will work out at WrestleMania."
"Well, that's why Booker put you in this Six Man Tag Team match tonight."
"I know, but things could go differently at WrestleMania than they go tonight."
"You're not wrong, but you've gotta be confident that your team will be able to stay together tonight and at WrestleMania."
Randy sighs. "I just don't know. Admittedly, I don't trust Big Show either. I'm just trying to be civil until after WrestleMania. I don't like that he was put on our team in this storyline."
"I know."
"Sometimes I swear the only thing I look forward to at work is spending time with you."
I kiss his cheek. "What happens when I go on maternity leave?"
Randy shrugs. "I'll just hate everything I guess."
"I don't think you mean that."
"I might."
"Whatever, Randal."
"You're my favorite thing about work." Randy kisses my neck.
"You can save that for when we're in bed on the tour bus."
Randy laughs. "Fine. It's cute how you still use Randal against me."
"Because you still look irritated when I use it."
"I'm not irritated over that. I'm just irritated in general. How's your speech coming along?"
"I'm getting close to being done with it."
"That's good."
"I'm honestly getting a little anxious though."
Randy raises an eyebrow. "Why?"
"I just feel weird about doing a normal speech instead of a promo I guess."
"Look at me. You'll be fine, okay?"
I nod. "Okay."
Randy held me close. "You'll be just fine."
I lay in bed on the tour bus with Randy. "This feels weird."
Randy pulled me closer. "I know. It'll be okay though. Plus, we'll both be home when the baby is born, and it'll be just fine."
"Ya know, sometimes, I'm just sitting around, and it still doesn't feel real. Like I know it's real, but I didn't picture this for myself until a few years ago."
"I really did put the moves on you, huh?"
"If that's what you want to call it, sure."
"I always knew you'd be a great mom though. You've always been the kind of person to look out and care for others. If someone needs to talk, you're there. If someone needs a good cry, you're right there next to them. You deserve all the happiness in the world."
"Instead I get a bunch of baggage and issues."
"I better not be hearing you being hard on yourself again."
"You might be."
"We all have our issues, Rissa. You don't have to be so hard on yourself over yours."
"But my issues are a lot of the cause of my worries now."
"When was the last time you went to therapy?"
"Well…I think it was still 2012. We're three months into 2013." I sigh. "I've been meaning to go, but I get all caught up between still traveling for work and preparing for the baby. I never take the time to schedule an appointment."
"Do you need to go? With the way you're being hard on yourself, I'm starting to get rather concerned."
"It probably wouldn't be a bad idea to go."
"If you need to go, schedule an appointment as soon as you can. I want you to take care of your mental health too."
"I will. I promise."
"Okay, I love you."
"I love you too."
