Raw: April 1, 2013

Randy grins. "Man, today is a good day."

"Why's that?" I ask with a smirk.

"Well, I think someone's got a birthday today. It's just a gut feeling."

I pull him into a kiss. "I've already told you happy birthday, handsome."

Randy kisses back. "I know, but I'd love to keep hearing it."

"Happy birthday, Randy. You're old now."

"I'm not old."

"You're thirty-three years old."

"That's not old."

"Are you sure about that?"

"I'm certain, babe. If I'm old, then you're old in just over two years yourself."

"I'm not ready for that."

"That's okay because we're not old, Rissa."

"Okay. I'm gonna sit down."

"Okay, you do that." Randy watches me go to sit down. "I'm not required to be at work tomorrow."

"I know."

"How'd you know?"

"I might have had something to do with it."

Randy laughed. "Well, thanks."

"Your pregnant wife has enough pull to get you a day off."

"I appreciate it. So I'm assuming there's something going on tonight after Raw is done."

"Maybe, I'm still not telling you."

"You should just go ahead and tell me, Rissa."

"You're not going to hear it."

Randy walked over and kissed me. "You're so mean."

"Get used to it."

"You keep getting meaner."

"Not my fault. What's your match tonight?"

"I'm teaming with Big Show and Sheamus against 3MB."

"Again?"

Randy shrugs. "It's almost over."

"I know. Do you think Big Show is going to be trustworthy at WrestleMania? I just keep getting a vibe every time you three do something together."

"I'm not so sure. I have some doubts. I know Sheamus has a lot of doubt about that."

"Do you blame him?"

"No, it's completely reasonable to have that doubt. I just hope WrestleMania goes smoothly, and then we don't have to team with Big Show anymore."

"That's true."

Randy sits next to me. "Six more days."

I lean on him. "And then you're done with this storyline."

"Yeah, but then you go on maternity leave."

"You still get me for the Raw and SmackDown after WrestleMania."

"I guess that's true, isn't it?"

"It is. Value your time at work with your wife, Randal."

"I do that every week."

"Good. I value our time together too."

"I know." Randy pulls me close. "I hope you know that I'm going to be extra affectionate at home now since you won't be at work with me."

"Who said it'd just be you?"

Randy kissed my forehead. "Fair enough."

I was driving as Randy and I were headed to his birthday party, which he didn't know about yet. "So how's it feel being thirty-three years old?"

Randy shrugs. "Weird. I guess."

"Weird? Why is it weird?"

"I just don't feel like I should be thirty-three already."

"Oh, I feel like I should still be in my twenties, but here we are, babe."

"At least it's only our thirties. Where exactly are we going, Rissa?"

"You'll see here in a couple minutes."

"Is this a birthday party?"

"I'm not answering that."

"So it is a birthday party. I knew it."

"Will you at least still act surprised about it when we get there?"

"That I can do. Is it a big party?"

"It's not necessarily a big party. I was trying to invite only co-workers that I knew you liked. And well…the list isn't necessarily long."

Randy laughs. "You're not wrong about that. I'm not the most friendly or endearing man at times."

"How did I end up married to you again?"

"Wasn't it my bad guy charm that we'd always joke around about? That must be what drew you in."

"That might possibly be it."

"Did you ever finish your Hall of Fame speech to introduce Trish?"

"Yes, I did. The Hall of Fame is in five days. I wasn't going to wait to finish it until the last minute, especially when we'll have to pack for WrestleMania week still when we get home."

"You make a fair point. We're gonna have a lot to do."

"Yeah, we will."

Randy grabbed my hand. "If you need me to help out with anything at all, let me know. Especially once you're on maternity leave and need help with anything."

I pull into the parking lot and park the car. "We're here."

"Did you even hear me?"

I look at him. "Yeah, I heard you."

"Did you listen to what I was saying?"

"Yes, I did."

"Please let me help out if you need it, Rissa." Randy exits the car.

"I will." I follow him by also getting out of the car. "By the way, I have a gift for you, but you're not getting it while we're here."

"Okay. That's fine. Did you lock the car?"

"I did."

"Pass me the keys then. I'll drive back to the hotel after this."

I roll my eyes before passing the keys to him. "You really can't let me drive your cars for that long, can you?"

"Hey, I'm the birthday boy. I should get what I want."

I watch as Randy opens presents. I was getting a bit tired, but I was glad he was enjoying this get-together that I had planned for his birthday. I think I was just happy to see him enjoying himself. I leaned against Randy's shoulder as I was trying to keep myself awake. I looked down as I felt the baby kick, something I'd gotten used to but made me happy every time I felt it.

Randy put his arm around me. "Are you good?"

I nod. "Yeah, the baby just kicked."

"You're tired."

"Maybe I am, but you should stop worrying and keep enjoying yourself."

"I have been enjoying myself. I just can tell that you're getting tired."

"Oh, my bad."

"It's okay, Rissa. It's getting late. You're pregnant. You're gonna be tired. Hopefully, we can go back to the hotel sooner than later."

"Don't try to rush because of me."

"I'm not. I want to get back sooner than later too."

"Why's that?"

"Because the gift you got me is probably at the hotel, and I know that'll be my favorite birthday gift."

"Just because it's from me?"

"You couldn't get me a bad birthday gift if you tried."

"Too bad I can't drink with you."

"You're pregnant with our son. I completely understand. Hell, I haven't even drank. I think at this point, I want to get some one-on-one time with you when I can."

"Well, I'm flattered by that, Randy."

"I like just sitting around and spending time with you, Rissa. That's something I'll always find enjoyable."

"Well, if I am awake enough when we get back to the hotel, you can have just that." I kiss his cheek. "Happy birthday, Randy."
