Chapter 45: Revealing What Was Buried
Disclaimer:
Hi guys. I was looking back through the fan fic and noticed I made a pretty big mistake in terms of what age Lucas was during when he lived with his foster parents. In Chapter One, I said he was eight-years-old but then in future chapters I said he was five-years-old for some reason… I have no idea how I got confused with that but from now on I will be saying he was EIGHT. Basically, his Time Magic manifested itself when he was EIGHT and not FIVE. Apologies once again but I hope you guys understand and forgive me! With that said, I hope you enjoy.
Almost 24 hours had passed since Cyrus met with Lucas. The Sharandale had helped out Lucas a lot with the healing elixir that he made and within a few days he was back to full health. It was another night in the Clover Kingdom where the shining moon was at its peak in the dark sky and Lucas, instead of sleeping, was ready to return to the Golden Dawn HQ.
"I really was out for two weeks, huh?" Lucas thought to himself as he put his brown boots on each foot. He stood up and walked towards the bedside table where his squad robe was resting and put it over him.
"If I return to the base now, I can have a normal sleep and explain to everyone what happened with me", he sighed. "It's no use fighting against it. Besides, I'm sure a lot of them will understand, right?"
The Dual mage finally put his grimoire satchel over his waist and closed the window behind him. He walked towards the door and left the building where he was treated for two weeks.
He walked outside and took in the area around him. It had been two weeks and for the whole time he was in the hospital room. The mage opened his mouth, breathed in and out, and smiled.
"I saw all of this from the window but it's so much better being able to walk around now!" Lucas smiled as he turned his head.
There were plenty of well-furbished buildings around. They were made of expensive materials like bricks and marble so you know how affluent the area was.
"They don't call it the Noble Realm for nothing", he said to himself. "I guess I'll get my broom out no-", he began but stopped himself as he realised the problem.
"I left my broom at Nean… didn't I?" He face-palmed. He looked in the direction of where the Golden Dawn HQ was and he dropped his shoulders.
"I guess I'm walking…", he yawned as he started on his journey back.
At the Golden Dawn base, things were relatively quiet all around. Most of the lights were off as people were sleeping, but there were three rooms that stayed lit up. The starry night pierced through the open window of one of the rooms and the mage living there looked up at the sky.
"Why aren't you going to sleep yet! It's quite late now and I'm tired", a small but high-pitched voice sounded out in the room.
"Go to bed then. I'm not stopping you", an older voice replied nonchalantly.
"Yuno!" The voice shouted as it got closer to Yuno who was looking outside his window from the desk he was sat at.
"Bell", Yuno replied, definitely not reacting in the same tone as he didn't want to entertain her.
"Is something the matter?" Bell stopped pulling Yuno's cheek and instead sat on his shoulder, wondering what was wrong.
"It's nothing. I've heard Lucas is coming back tomorrow and it's just been a while, you know?" The Wind mage replied, moving Bell into his hands from his shoulder so he could talk to her face-to-face.
The Great Spirit sighed. "Yeah, it's been a while. I actually prefer Lucas way more than the shrimp you call Asta. He seems nicer!"
Yuno smiled. "Hey, that's my foster brother you're talking about".
"Yeah, and?" Bell replied, not getting the hint.
"…And… you can only say those things when he's here. You know, so I can join in", he smiled again. The tall mage stretched his legs under the brown desk. "I wonder what Mimosa meant when Lucas had something to tell us about? Do you have an idea, Bell?"
Bell floated up and sat on the edge of the window, leaning against the wall, and looking outside. "No idea, but if I'd had to guess then something big must have happened in that town he was in", she replied.
"Nean, hm?" He stood up and tucked his chair in. He walked into the en-suite bathroom and started to brush his teeth. He looked in the mirror and saw Bell floating behind him. "The Eye of the Midnight Sun were there. Perhaps it's to do with that?"
"Yeah, could be. Those freaks are so weird anyway. The report from the Black Bulls Captain said that they're looking to correct this Kingdom, whatever that means", Bell folded her arms together.
"I don't understand their deal either. The main thing is that we just need to get stronger. I hope you'll help me". Yuno said as he finished washing his face and got ready for bed.
"Of course! My power is yours so we'll definitely get stronger together!" The Sylph smiled.
Yuno closed the window and blew out the candle on his desk. He got into bed as Bell disappeared back into the Four-Leaf grimoire. He turned to the side and thought about Lucas again.
"If I really had to think, then it must be about why he only uses Light Magic from his left arm. I noticed it on our first mission patrolling, as well as when we fought the Diamond Kingdom soldiers in the dungeon. I can't lie, I've been wondering about that for so long but it is his thing to share", he thought to himself as he drifted to sleep.
As Yuno and Bell interacted, Mimosa had her own thoughts about what had happened during the time she was at Nean, two weeks prior. Her room was slightly lit with a singular candle illuminating the room.
Mimosa started to change into her pyjamas and brushed her teeth and hair as well before getting into bed.
"Lucas is back tomorrow! I can't wait to go on missions with him again. I feel like it's been such a long time since we've properly been together. The whole incident in Nean… I was separated from him. It's not like I'm complaining since things became extremely serious but it'll be nice to act like a squad again", she stared at the ceiling.
For a few seconds she didn't say much as she replayed the events at Nean in her head again.
FLASHBACK – TWO WEEKS AGO:
"Looks like everyone's back! I can hear all the ruckus outside". Noelle noticed as she got up from her chair and opened the door.
Mimosa and Rebecca, both followed her and just as the noise signalled, the Magic Knights had returned to Nean. This time, they were aided by Captain Yami.
"Captain Yami!" Noelle shouted as she waved the group over. However, as she did and as they started moving, the Silva saw an unconscious Asta on one of Yami's shoulders and an unconscious Lucas on his other shoulder.
"Asta!" Noelle ran out.
Mimosa's yellow eyes also widened as she saw her squad mate in the state that he was in. "L-Lucas?" She asked with worry and followed her cousin.
"Yo", Yami put his right hand up to say 'hi' as if nothing was weird about this situation.
"What happened to them?" Rebecca asked, holding her hand over her mouth as she gasped.
"Were you reckless again?" Noelle's eyes pierced into Finral's soul.
"How could this have happened?" Mimosa panicked.
Yami sighed. "Look, can we talk about this inside? I'm already annoyed that I can't smoke my cigarette with both of my hands full and now you three ladies are giving me a headache!" He shouted.
"W-wait… where are the other captains? Oh, and the Eye of the Midnight Sun?" Noelle asked.
Yami shook his head and a vein seemed to pop out. "The others went home straight away. They were pretty confused about what went on so it's only normal. Also, the bad guys ran away after we gave them a beating… now let us through!"
The trio of Mimosa, Noelle, and Rebecca all sweat-dropped and ushered everyone inside the building where Sister Theresa was being healed at earlier.
After a few minutes, Asta and Lucas were set down on the recovery beds next to the sleeping Theresa. She was fully recovered and it was only a matter of sleeping the exhaustion away in another room, whereas Asta and Lucas were new patients.
"Apologies, but the only Recovery Mage here is me. The others went out so you'll just have to make do. Who shall I get started with first? I can start healing them both but I can only properly focus on one". The Vermillion asked. She saw the extent of the injuries on but knew she had to ask first.
With a blow of smoke from his long-awaited cigarette, Yami responded. "Go for the Golden Dawn kid. He was seriously something back there, besides my brat is only out from exhaustion. His injuries aren't too serious", he said.
"O-Okay!" Mimosa replied. "Plant Recovery Magic: Dream Healing Flower Basket!" The royal formed a large green basket around the two Magic Knights and they were surrounded by pink petals that helped their injuries. Mimosa's hands were above Lucas, though, as she could only properly focus on one.
"How did this happen? Were the both of them as reckless as each other and ended up in this state?" Noelle folded her arms.
"You should've seen the two in action! They were insane and well… inspiring", Daisy replied.
"Well for Asta, you could say that. But the thing is, without that recklessness, I don't think we would've beaten their leader at the end", Finral replied, smiling slightly with a bit of admiration for his squad member.
"Lucas on the other hand, was quite the spectacle. He surprised us all with what he decided to showcase in that cave", Gauche added, sitting down on the brown bench next to them.
"What do you mean?" Mimosa wondered, still healing.
"The brat used Time Magic is what we're saying", Yami answered. He joined the Mirror mage and sat down next to him.
There was an air of silence between the trio of girls who had no idea of what went on in the cave with the Eye of the Midnight Sun.
"Time Magic? From Lucas?" Noelle waved her arms as if she was dismissing what her captain said, or maybe it was something she just couldn't believe at first.
"Yeah, Lucas uses Light Magic!" Mimosa said, furrowing her eyebrows as she was slightly confused.
Daisy walked up to the three girls and had a serious expression on her face. She pointed her finger up and spoke. "No, it's true. He used this insane spell called Heaven's Time twice! Once was to defeat a guy called Draien and the other time was when he was with Captain Yami and Asta!" Daisy said with enthusiasm. Her violet eyes practically lit up as she was so curious about the magic, as well as being excited about it.
"Is he from the Diamond Kingdom?" Rebecca said and everyone turned to face her.
"I don't think so. He is an orphan but there's no link to that kingdom whatsoever", Mimosa replied.
"Hm, but I've never heard of dual attributes like that. I guess it's just something we've never seen before… kind of like Asta here", Rebecca pointed out.
Yami stood up and walked over to Asta and Lucas. "You guys can discuss it all you want but those are the facts. This boy here uses Light Magic and Time Magic", he said.
Those words caused another bout of silence from the girls who didn't know about this second attribute.
"What is it with the Golden Dawn?" Noelle slumped. "First they have someone with the Wind Spirit and now another has two of the most powerful magic attributes!"
Yami laughed and rustled the Silva's hair. "Haha, I guess that is right! The Black Bulls are always against it aren't we?"
"Well, I mean you do have someone who can cancel out all magic", Daisy giggled cheekily.
"Let me brood in peace", Yami replied.
One person who was silent was Lucas's teammate, Mimosa.
"How come he didn't let us know about his Time Magic? Did he really not trust us at all with something like that?" The royal had many thoughts and ideas swirling around her head and none of them were particularly positive.
Her thinking was enough to not notice both Noelle and Rebecca putting their hands on her shoulders to help her snap out of the daze she was in. They had to repeatedly shake her and eventually she came to.
"… Oh, wh-what's up?" Mimosa asked with a sad expression.
"Are you alright? We've been calling your name a few times now", Noelle wondered.
"Yeah, I'm fine! I was just focusing on healing them up which is why I kind of zoned out there!" Mimosa said, lying.
Finral asked the next question. "Mimosa, did you know about his Time Magic? I mean, from your reaction it doesn't seem like it but maybe he mentioned something about it around the Golden Dawn?"
That was it. That was where it hurt Mimosa. For her, it felt like there was a lack of trust between the Dual mage and his teammates, but most of all a lack of trust with her.
"Haha… no, he didn't mention anything to us", she answered with a slight frown.
That was the last comment made about Lucas's Time Magic as no one really had anything else to say. The things they did want to ask about Time Magic were to be directed to Lucas but since he was unconscious it was a matter of when they would be able to speak to him.
The sun started to set and the treatment was complete on both Asta and Lucas. The former was healed up completely hours ago but the other Black Bulls had gone out to eat at Rebecca's restaurant so they had left the Anti-Magic user at the recovery room at first.
Daisy had left to go see her sisters that were with Rebecca and her siblings. There was a lot of explaining and soul-repairing to do when it came to them, especially with Alice. She had her hands full and let Mimosa take care of the rest.
Eventually, the Bulls all came back and Finral was ready to transport the squad back to their base.
"C'mon Finral. We don't have all day", Yami said, kicking the Spatial mage in the back to make him hurry up.
Finral, rubbing his back, replied with anger. "If you want me to hurry up then maybe don't abuse me?!" He turned to Mimosa who was still with Lucas. "We'll see you around, yeah? Oh, and I'll let Asta know what happened here so you don't need to trouble yourself!"
Mimosa lifted her head and smiled. "Sure, that would be great! Be seeing you", she replied.
"You guys made me say goodbye to Marie yet we're still here! What the hell do you take me for?!" Gauche shouted.
"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let's go…", Yami said as he picked up the sleeping Asta and walked towards the Spatial portal.
From another room, where Sister Theresa was sleeping, came out Neige. He walked slowly towards the Black Bulls and bowed in front of them.
"Please… will you take me to the Magic Knights HQ? I need to come clean and to terms with my sins!" He shouted, prompting an annoyed reaction from Yami and Gauche, as well as a surprised one from Finral.
"You're the guy… who started this whole mess!" Gauche stepped forward, ready to punch the man. However, Yami stopped him.
"I heard about you. Sure, I'll take you but you better make sure not to make any weird movements or I will kill you", Yami said.
Neige agreed and he and the Black Bulls left through the portal.
"Okay. The healing is all done for Lucas… but I still feel like something is wrong? I can sense your mana and it's just very odd to me. Maybe I'll ask Daisy what's up since she was with you", Mimosa said to herself, but was kind of speaking to Lucas at the same time. She got up and left to find the Ice Mage.
FLASHBACK OVER
"Trust, huh?" Mimosa said to herself as she pulled her light-yellow blanket over her body. "I'll give Lucas the benefit of the doubt. I would like to think he had a very good reason to hide the Time Magic and it shouldn't be my place to judge. But when I returned to the base… it was the only thing on my mind and I felt like maybe you should tell the others. You would've been antagonising over not letting the others know… I know you well enough to know how you think about these things. You don't want to be a burden but the others just aren't as unaccepting as you might think they are! Though… maybe it wasn't the best thing to mention to the others that you had to tell them something without getting your permission first?" She shook her head violently.
"Me and my big mouth…", she closed her eyes in a hurry.
Another day dawned at the best-rated squad's base. The Golden Dawns were all awake and headed to the common room for morning briefing. William had finally returned from wherever he was and Langris was right beside him, giving the information for the day. Once things were sorted, the Vice-Captain was about to dismiss the others when Lucas put his hand up.
"What is it?" Langris asked plainly.
"Um… I-I'd like to talk to the whole squad if that's alright with you?" He shivered. It wasn't the fact it was cold or anything but the fact that what he was about to do gave him a chilly feeling.
"Oh, we heard about this from Mimosa. He wanted to tell us something?"
"What could be so important to let us all know?"
"Lucas isn't the type to call for a meeting like this so it has to be of some interest!"
A few thoughts of the other Golden Dawn members flew in and out of their heads. Yuno and Klaus were kneeling down together next to Lucas and they were silent, awaiting what would come next.
Letoile, David, and Hamon were surprised but they did hear about this from Mimosa. David had even sent a letter to Lucas mentioning it so it wasn't as if they didn't see this coming.
Mimosa was knelt down in front of him and didn't turn to face her teammate. Inside she was worried and thought that she may have overstepped her boundary with Lucas by basically forcing him to do this.
"No. Get back down and we will dismiss this meeting", Langris replied, annoyed.
"But…", Lucas reached out but was given a glare by the noble. However, Lucas wasn't completely ignored as William spoke up.
"Let him talk, Langris. I heard rumours that Lucas was going to share something interesting with us and I'd like to know. He is a trusted member of the squad so we should hear him out", the masked mage said, smiling.
"Yes, Sir". The Spatial mage reluctantly said as he agreed with his captain.
Slowly, Lucas stood up and walked forwards. He stopped at the middle of the bottom of the stairs and faced the other squad members. William and Langris were still standing on the top of the staircase, yet they were listening.
"Um… by the time I got back last night, I fell asleep straight away so I didn't even practice on saying what I wanted to say… but Mimosa gave me this opportunity and, to be honest, I need to get this off my chest… so, here goes…". Lucas breathed in a huge breath of air and exhaled, slumping his shoulders.
After a few seconds, he lifted his head and looked at the whole squad.
"As you may know, I was at Nean two weeks ago with other Magic Knights as the Eye of the Midnight Sun attacked. The Black Bulls, a Blue Rose, and a few other captains joined up for the fight and that is what I wanted to talk to you guys about", Lucas started.
"We've heard about this, haven't we?" Yuno thought internally. Though, he was linked with Bell who was sat beside him.
"We sure have. I wonder if something else happened?"
"Everyone here knows that I use Light Magic, and you also know how it's extremely slow so I have to use my magic in a more physical way at times either through Angelic Strike or through my Dual Blades. I think there is a reason as to why it's slow in general and it's because…", he paused and breathed in and exhaled.
"… I also have Time Magic".
Silence.
That was the reaction of everyone. Silence. No one knew what to make of what their squad member had just said. They all thought that he was kidding, surely. However, to a few select people, they had reason to believe him.
"Don't give me that crap", Langris said from above. "You think we're just going to believe that you have not one, but two of the most powerful attributes ever?"
"Lucas has never lied before… but this? This is too much even for him".
"We're wasting our time…".
Suddenly, Yuno spoke up which directed attention to him.
"Lucas. You say you have Time Magic… is that why you only use Light Magic from your left hand?" He asked, intrigued as this could be the answer to the very question, he had been asking himself for months.
Lucas looked at the Wind mage, surprised. He didn't know how attentive he had been to him and with what he just said, it proves just how careful he was when it came to noticing things.
"Th-that's correct. Just as I use Light Magic from my left hand, I also use Time Magic from my right. I can't crossover… that's the only problem", he replied.
With that said, Alecdora started piping up. "Are we really going to believe the words of these two peasants? They must have been together to think up this joke! News flash: April Fools is months away, you two!"
Not one person laughed. There were people in the squad that thought like Alecdora where they would criticise peasants and had also targeted Lucas and Yuno, but at this moment in time, things were too serious to be joking around and that is why they didn't join in.
"Alecdora", Letoile started to speak. "You know how Lucas is from the moment you met him. He is trusting and even saved your life back at the dungeon the three of us visited, or have you forgotten?"
The Sand mage clenched his fists. "Quiet you… you're a lower rank than me so it would be in your best interest if you stopped there", he said with a raging anger ready to blow up.
"No, I won't be quiet", she turned her head and faced Lucas. As she stood up, she smiled at the Dual mage. "I have no reason to think you're lying. After all, you helped me come to terms with something I had kept bottled up. Besides, all this means is that we have a strong member in our squad, right?"
"Oi…", Alecdora started to add but was cut off.
"That's exactly right!" David and Hamon both said in unison as they also stood up.
"Lucas is like my little brother. You can joke around with him and you can tease him, but when it comes to serious matters, there is no way in hell that he would ever lie!" The Dice mage smiled.
"He would come to my room a lot of the time and help me out when things were bad for me. Despite being shy himself, he went out of his way to comfort me when I would feel self-conscious about how I looked. I have no reason to distrust a person like that!" The glutton added with energy.
"You guys…", Lucas looked in awe.
Everyone then turned their heads back to where the Vice-Captain was.
"Right. We'll believe you in this then, but tell me… why did you hide it from us if you're so trustworthy?" Langris asked.
Lucas gulped at this. Mimosa and Yuno were also interested in the reasoning.
"Right… I'll have to explain that as well…", Lucas gulped again.
"I… um, my Time Magic manifested itself when I was eight-years-old back in my hometown. I went to tell the Mother and the Father at the local church. All of you know I'm an orphan so they were the ones I lived with. When I…", he paused for a few seconds and carried on. "… When I told them ab-about it, th-they…".
"He's acting like he did when he first joined the squad", Mimosa noticed, frowning.
At the start, Lucas was extremely shy about everything you could think about. He struggled to make friends and couldn't even voice his own opinions. He had made great progress to become as confident as he had been now, but this was making him revert to how he was.
Lucas touched the scars around his right eye and arms and was about to speak again.
William saw this and interrupted. He remembered the talk he had with Lucas about his scars and that he didn't have to talk about them if he didn't want to. He had a feeling that the reason he never disclosed about his Time Magic was tied to them.
"I just wanted to talk about what happened the day before with Richard Kira. There was no reason for him to talk about your scars in a way that was so horrible".
"Lucas!" He reached out. "You don't have to carry on if you don't want to".
The ginger-haired teen turned around and saw a concerned captain looking at him. With a smile and a sigh of relief he spoke. "That's fine, Captain Vangeance. I appreciate what you said to me back then but I think it's time". He turned back to the rest of his squad.
"For some reason, when I told them about my Time Magic, they reacted in the worst way…", he began.
He talked about the abuse he went through at the hands of the people he once had the greatest affection for. He mentioned that everything was confusing for the eight-year-old version of him and even to this day he has no idea why they acted that way. In addition to that day of abuse, he acknowledged that the Mother and the Father never actually acted like parents in the first place.
"They would go out late at night and meet with different groups of people. "The Shadows" as I would refer to them as when I peeked through the window. At times, they wouldn't feed me properly, and sometimes they would leave my sister and I without food or water. I was too naïve to notice back then, but now that I'm older, it makes sense to me why they were never my parents.
Lucas finished explaining and looked at the squad. To him, a huge weight was lifted from his heart and his mind and he felt free for the first time in his life. He had told this to the Wizard King, but finally letting his squad know was a different kind of relief and satisfaction.
However, as he opened his eyes to look all he saw were the disgusted faces of his teammates. Some were crying, some were red with anger, and some were pale with shock.
"Is this… the reason?" Mimosa teared up as she looked to the floor. She couldn't bare to look at the person that she took liberty for exposing his secrets. "Just wh-who do I th-think I… am deciding things like that?!" She shook her head.
Yuno was completely disgusted. He was also an orphan but his entire upbringing and circumstances widely differed from what Lucas had gone through. "What the… how could they?"
"I'm not sure but I would love to kick their sorry asses into oblivion", Bell said to Yuno via their connection. She smacked her fists together and it looked like she was ready to fight.
The trio of David, Hamon, and Letoile were gobsmacked. To them, just as David mentioned, Lucas was a little brother and hearing this was sickening.
The Time mage saw their faces and waved his hands about in a comedic fashion, trying to lighten the mood.
"G-guys! You don't have to feel bad or anything! If anything, this was for me to finally let you guys know about something that was eating away at me…", he sighed. The mage turned to Mimosa who was still distraught. "If it wasn't for Mimosa, this never would have happened. Without her, this would've still been tucked away… so, Mimosa. Thank you so much", he teared up with a bright smile.
Mimosa slowly raised her head. Her makeup was a mess and she barely saw the Dual mage through her tears blurring her vision but she managed to smile back. "Thank you… so much... for saying that…".
"Now, now… what is it with all these waterworks?" Langris clapped, bringing back everyone's attention. He looked at Lucas, but instead of the glares that he would always give, this time his eyes were softer with a hint of regret.
"I'm not going to apologise to him…", he shook his head. "Lucas… you've been brave, haven't you?"
No one knew what to say to that comment. This was the first time they saw Langris ease and let up. To them, he was essentially heartless and someone you wouldn't want to be stuck in a room with but now, they questioned those thoughts.
"So, him having Time Magic was true after all…", William thought to himself as his eyes darkened under his mask.
Eventually, everyone got up from kneeling down on the floor and surrounded Lucas. They hugged him, teased him, and joked around with him. When he first joined the squad, he would have never even thought about revealing this part of him to them but now it was like he was a completely different person. A weight had gone and he was happy.
"Wait just a minute…", Alecdora interrupted and the rest of the squad stopped. You could hear a few groans in the back from some of the members.
"So… is no one even going to ask him to prove that he actually has Time Magic? Or are you all going to fall for his sob story?" He said, bringing the vicious glares of every squad member.
Yuno stepped forwards. "That's enough out of you. You may be my senior, but you cannot talk like that towards your own teammate".
"That's right!" Bell flapped her wings, making the Sand mage uncomfortable.
"Peasant defending peasant. What a wonderful sight!" He laughed.
"That's enough!" A voice roared from the top of the stairs and you could swear the walls shook. He was in a shadow as the ray of sunlight from the glass mosaic from the back darkened him through the reflections.
Alecdora and the others turned around to see William with a frown. This was a sight to behold as whenever you saw him, he always had a smile. This was clearly different.
"B-but…", Alecdora tried to speak but was intimidated away.
"I won't stand for this. Alecdora, you may be their senior but respect is earned, not given because of your rank. You will apologise to him", he ordered.
A few smirks came from Lucas's camp, which at this point, was the entire Golden Dawn bar Alecdora.
"I'm… s-sorry…", he said, struggling as he spoke but managed to get the wording over the line.
"That's fine…", Lucas said. He had no respect for Alecdora but at this point he had enough of him.
"Besides…", William added, opening a letter in his hand. "… If you want to see Time Magic so badly, then we'll all get to see it in action".
"What do you mean, Captain?" Langris asked, confused.
"One of the Spatial owl messengers just came through and handed me this letter". William took it out and read it through.
"Orders from the Wizard King… it looks like we're going in search of a Magic Stone", he explained.
"A Magic Stone… oh! Those things from that stone tablet!" Lucas said in response, remembering back to when he and Asta were captured and saved by Julius.
"That's right, Lucas. Our destination is…
… The Forgotten Forest".
NOTES:
Finally, the Time Magic has been revealed to the entire squad! How good must this feel for Lucas?
This is where the Golden Dawn finally gets time to shine. As you may have realised, this will take part during the Seabed Water Temple Arc, so we will not be seeing the Black Bulls any time soon. Some may not be happy with that, but we have to remember that Lucas is part of the Golden Dawn in this story so it only makes sense to focus on his own squad.
Langris was slightly sympathetic with the abuse Lucas felt. I feel like he's not a bad person (yes, he almost killed his brother but let me explain) he was just raised in a horrible environment with his parents pushing him and putting all these expectations on him. YES, he did bad, but I think underneath it all he was just misunderstood.
What did you guys think of the revelation?
