Coven Fairy

"King, listen to this." Luz said, lying back on the couch, King on her lap, while Kali sat on the other end, petting Sapphire's exposed belly, while reading a book.

"Hey, less ready more scratchy." King stated, trying to get her to put down the Hexside pamphlet.

"King, be nice. Luz can't help but read the pamphlet with how excited she is."

"Yeah, sorry King. Now that I'll be a student at Hexside, I wanna learn all about it." Luz stated. "I've got a new crush, and her name is education."

"Oh, so have you always known you were more into chicks rather then dudes?" Kali snickered, as King bit down on the pamphlet, tearing a corner off.

"Maybe for the last couple years. I haven't exactly told my mom about it yet though." Luz said blushing a bit.

"Well good on you." The Clawthorne teen said with a smile.

"Hey freeloaders, guess what today is." Eda said, kicking in the door.

"What do you mean freeloader? I do most of the cleaning and repairs to the entire house." Kali said.

"Is it your birthday?" Luz asked.

"Is it my birthday?" King asked.

"It's my birthday." Hooty said.

"Did you like the cake I made you?" Kali asked.

"It was delicious."

"Nope. Wrong subject." Eda said, closing Hooty's door with a loud and hard slam. "It's human treasure day."

"Oh no." Kali groaned.

Eda swung forward her portal door to the human realm, before tossing it. In midair it opened and out poured a practical mountain of garbage.

"Ah, fresh garbage." Eda smiled, throwing herself onto the mountain.

"Who's gonna clean that mess up?" Kali questioned, annoyed.

"Ooh, gimme, gimme, gimme." King said excitedly, running to the pile and pulling out a teddy bear. "Yes, another addition to my army of terror." He stated, pulling on the drawstring.

"I love cuddles and kisses."

"Truly horrifying."

"I'm pretty sure that somewhere in the human realm, there's a child crying over a lost teddy bear right now." Kali said, shaking her head disapprovingly.

"Yo kid, your trash pile's getting cold, while mine's getting hot." Eda said, pulling an item out from the pile. "I have never seen such an extravagant earring."

"That's a coat hanger." Kali said. "People use them to hang up their coats, shirts, and pants in their closets."

"You can have my trash." Luz said.

"Same. An' you're cleaning that mess up." Kali stated.

"Whoa. Did you know that Hexside was built on the bones of its rival school?" Luz asked excitedly, showing Kali the image on the pamphlet of a young Bump, holding up a flag on a pile of unconscious students and teachers. "One it literally conquered."

"I did not. Man this school has a dark history to it." Kali said, shocked at the image on the pamphlet. "An' why would they put that image on the pamphlet?"

"Can you imagine it? Me, in the halls of Hexside, studying with you, Willow, and Gus, and maybe even, Amity." Luz said.

"Speaking of, we gotta get going if we're gonna meet up with her at the Day Market." Kali said, opening the door.

"Right." Luz smiled, hopping to her feet as they headed for the door. "Love you guys."

"I love you Luz, Kali."

"Aw, you're sweet Hooty." Kali smiled. "We'll be back in a couple hours."

~Day Market~

"Amity, Amity, Amity. Gotta find that Amity…" Luz said, walking through the market with Kali, Sapphire on her shoulder.

"There she is." Kali said, pointing out where Amity was.

"Ah, Amity." Luz called to her. "Luz has finally…"

"Hey Luz." Edric and Emira said, popping up in front of Luz, causing her to fall back.

"Whoa, careful there Luz." Kali said, catching her while the twins laughed.

"Edric, Emira. Stop bothering them." Amity said, splitting the two. "Sorry about them. You okay Luz?"

"Yeah I'm fine." Luz said.

"Sorry about them. Those two insisted on coming, for some reason." Amity said.

"Because we wuv you baby sister." Emira said, coming up from behind and coddling Amity.

"They've been extra protective and nice towards me, to make up for the library incident." Amity said, pushing Emira away.

"An' we still apologize, every day." Edric stated, before Amity pushed him away as well.

"Hold on, I do have something for Ed." Kali said, reaching into her bag, and pulling out a burlap sack.

"What is it?" Luz asked.

"Here." Kali smiled, holding out the bag to Ed.

"What's that?" Amity asked, as Kali dropped the bag in Eds hands, which the weight caused him to drop to the ground. "Holy Titan, you can lift that with one hand?"

"Draconic strength. Perk of getting my Dragonslayer Magic the way I did." Kali said. "Physical capabilities are all greatly increased beyond what my body should even be capable of. An' it only increases, the more muscle mass I build up."

"So what is this anyway?" Ed asked, standing up and cracking his back.

"It's your cut from the profits I made, selling the book in the market." Kali said. "I added your cut from what I made from selling it in my shop just outside the Capital city of Crocus. I kept the jewels and just added the same amount of snails, since there's no exchange rate for both currencies."

"Speaking of books." Amity said reaching into her own bag and pulling out the Good Witch Azura book. "Here's your book Luz."

"Thanks Amity. So, what'd you think, how'd you like it?" Luz asked.

"It was, fine." Amity said.

"So fine you drew yourself with Malingale the Mysterious Soothsayer?" Kali asked, as Luz pulled said picture out of the pages of the book.

Amity just blushed at the image shown, and using her magic destroyed the drawing.

"This is great." Luz said. "Maybe we can even start an Azura Book Club at school when we're classmates."

"When we're what?" Amity asked.

"You didn't know? I managed to convince Bump to let Luz enroll and she'll be starting next semester, same time as me." Kali said.

"Oh, uh sorry but to be in my class, you need to know at least two spells." Amity said.

"With her staff, Luz can do more then just two spells." Kali said.

"Staff's aren't allow though." Amity said.

"Bump made an exception since it's the only way Luz actually can do Boiling Isles magic." Kali stated. "He won't allow for Earthland Magic during the exams."

"Ah makes sense then." Amity smiled. "So what's your Palisman?"

"Oh, I don't have one. My staff is just a wand of Palistrom Wood, Kali carved from what remained of the pieces that Sapphire was carved from." Luz stated. "Kali just increased its size with Earthland Titan Magic."

"Titan Magic?"

"It's exactly how it sounds. It allows the wielder to change to any size they wish, and theoretically, if I used it on myself, I could make myself as big as the Titan itself." Kali stated. "That would take a lot of magic though. More then I currently have."

"Oh, that sounds like a very interesting magic. I might like to learn how to do that sort of magic." Amity smiled.

"Ooh, brain idea." Ed said, butting into the conversation.

"What if we all trained together? We could show off what we know… is that a new accessory Kali?" Emira asked, spotting the circlet on Kali's forehead.

"Yeah, though I can't seem to take it off. So I'm stuck with it until I figure out how I can remove it from my head. But I like do your idea about training together." Kali said.

"Great, we'll be heading to the snowy piques of the knee later today. Meet up with us so we can get there before too long." Em stated.

"Actually, I have a better idea for training." Kali smiled.

"Kali, you're not thinking what I think you're thinking, are you?" Ed asked with a raised brow.

"You know me so well Ed." Kali smiled, batting her lashes at him, making the boy blush.

"So gross." Amity said.

"What's gross?"

"I am not interested in seeing my brothers love life. Especially when he's going steady with one of my friends." Amity stated.

"Well I'm an only child, so I wouldn't know about that." Luz said. "But what are you thinking about for training Kali?"

"Well, I was actually thinking of taking you all to Earthland, and go on a few jobs for training you can even earn some personal spending money while at it, and since I know you three don't have classes until the semester starts up in a week or so, I thought maybe we could do some training with some of Fairy Tails strongest. A.K.A, my team and close personal friends." Kali explained. "I was thinking maybe we spend the day training today and tomorrow, and then enjoy the town to take a break, before we get back to training the next couple days after. We'll basically be gone for a whole week for training and hanging out."

"I might even be able to do magic without my staff again, if I absorb enough of the ether energy in the atmosphere." Luz smiled. "But wait, you said there's no currency exchange rate for jewels and snails. So how would their earnings work?"

"I can handle that." Kali smiled. "I'll just pay you all the equivalent of snails, for the jewels you make on the jobs, similarly to what I did for the book profits. It'll be a fair trade."

"I don't know. It wouldn't be like the job we took for that archeologist where we were just gone overnight. We'd be gone for a whole week." Ed stated.

"If it makes you feel better, I could just open a portal for you to return home, and open another to let you come back through." Kali said.

"An' miss out on the nightlife in Fairy Tail? No way." Em stated. "We're gonna be having a slumber party every night."

"The guild hall closes somewhere around midnight unless we're throwing some sort of celebration, but I'm sure we can work something out. My house is big enough to hold all of us if need be." Kali said.

"I can vouch on that. It's huge." Luz stated. "King and I stayed there for a while during the War against Phantom Lord."

"Great, we'll go pack for the trip." Ed smiled.

"See ya Ed, Em, Amity." Kali smiled.

"See you later Luz, Kali." Amity said as they walked off.

"So… you think you're gonna be okay going back?" Luz asked as they made their way back to the Owl House.

"I'll be fine." Kali said.

"What about Laxus?"

"I'll deal with him if I need to, don't worry so much. I have Natsu's team and the rest of the guild to back me up if things get dicey. The guild treats me right, they don't agree with Laxus's behavior and treatment towards me." Kali said. "Honestly if Mira were still as strong as she was before the incident with Lisanna three years ago, then maybe…" The hybrid teen paused when she realized she goofed.

"Who's Lisanna?" Luz asked.

"No one, forget I said anything." Kali stated, quickening her pace towards the Owl House.

"She's hiding something, but what could it be?" Luz asked.

~Later~

"Alright, you all packed and ready to go Luz?" Kali asked, slinging her bag over her shoulder.

"Ready and excited." Luz smiled.

"Ding-Dong, we've got company." Hooty said, opening the door and allowing for Edric, Emira, and Amity to come in, all of them carrying a bag filled with clothes and other supplies.

"Hey Luz, Kali." Em smiled. "We're ready to head out when you are."

"We just finished packing actually." Kali smiled.

"You didn't invite Gus or Willow to tag along?" Amity asked. "What about Sapphire?"

"I did, but they already had plans with their families for the between semester break." Kali stated. "As for Sapphire, she's busy building a nest for her to give birth in."

"Take me with you." King said. "I wanna go too. I wanna see Natsu and Happy again."

"No King, you're still grounded from the little stunt you pulled a couple weeks ago." Kali stated.

"I know, but please let me come." King said. "I'll do anything if you let me come along."

"Anything?" Kali asked, raising a brow.

"Yes. I wanna enjoy Earthland with you." King said.

"Good, because I've got several cute little costumes with your name on it for me to take pictures of while you wear them." Kali said, crouching down and booping his nose. "So for now, until the training week ends, your grounding is hereby lifted, but will be reinstated once we return."

"Ooh, the photo shoot will be so fun." Emira smiled. "I'm so taking part."

"Why do I suddenly feel I'm gonna regret this later?" King questioned as Kali picked him up.

"Relax King, I'm sure whatever she has planned will be fun." Luz said. "I hope."

~Earthland~

"Welcome everyone." Kali smiled, as she walked through the opening doors, with Ed and Luz pushing them open, smiles on their own faces. "Too Fairy Tail."

Emira, and Amity looked at the astonishing sight of the guildhall, before Kali and Luz pushed them back, to avoid getting hit by a flying guild mate.

"Natsu, I swear, give me back my underwear." Grey's voice echoed out.

"Anyone who doesn't wanna see Grey's dick, cover your eyes." Kali said.

Everyone except Ed covered their eyes, while Luz used her hands to cover Kings eyes.

"Natsu, give his underwear back to him, or I swear you're gonna be in for a never ending ride, on the train." Kali stated, turning to the pyro who'd sent Grey flying passed them.

"Fine." Natsu sighed, literally throwing the underwear in Grey's face. "They stink anyway."

"What'd you expect you Pyro, they're underwear. They're supposed to stink." Grey glared, slipping his underwear back on.

"Not that badly after one use." Natsu mocked. "You incontinent or something?"

"It's safe to open your eyes now." Kali stated. "Mostly anyways. Grey put the rest of your damn clothes back on."

"That's it, I'm freezing you in ice and hiding you away." Grey growled.

"Oh, I'm so scared." Natsu said lighting his hands on fire.

"He didn't draw a magic circle before igniting his hands." Em said.

"That's the beauty of Earthland Magic, you don't need to unless you're doing a specific ritual, and then the magic circles are complex and drawn in chalk on the ground or a wall, sometimes both." Kali explained.

"Kali, welcome back my dear." Makarov greeted.

"Hey grandpa." Kali smiled. "How you feeling today?"

"Never better." Makarov said. "What brings you here?"

"Gramps, I'd like to introduce you to Emira and Amity Blight." Kali smiled, moving out of the way. "Ed's twin and younger sisters."

"I'm the older twin, by the way." Em smiled.

"It's nice to meet you both." Makarov said. "So, what brings you all here?"

"Well, we've got a week before the next semester at Hexside starts up, so I was thinking we could come by to do a few jobs for training." Kali said.

"Not a bad idea." Makarov said. "However, I'm afraid two of you won't be able to join Kali on these jobs."

"Why not?" Emira asked.

"You're not registered. An' since the war with Phantom Lord, we've required that all who accompany anyone from our guild, on a job at least be registered with any sort of guild. Otherwise it'll cause some serious legal issues that Fairy Tail cannot afford to deal with at the moment." Makarov said.

"So if we're wanting to join Kali on a job, we're gonna have to register and join?" Amity clarified.

"That about sums it up, yes." Makarov stated. "The only reason why we let Ed join Kali on a job, was because he'd registered while Kali was picking one out."

"I wasn't actually aware of this new rule, so I apologize in advance if either of you were wanting to join in on the job." Kali said, looking to the Blight sisters.

"No need to worry." Emira smiled. "So, what do we gotta do to join?"

"All you have to do, is accept the guild emblem." Makarov smiled.

"The guild emblem? Like the mark Kali has?" Amity asked, pointing to the emblem on Kali's chest.

"Yep." Kali smiled. "The emblem is sort of like a tattoo, and the Coven sigil. Only with two extremely important differences."

"The emblem doesn't require any tattoo guns or ink to apply it." Luz said, showing the Fairy Tail emblem on her shoulder.

"An' it doesn't hurt when it's applied. There's only a small amount of pressure, and that's it. You can even choose which color to get it in, and where it goes on your body." Ed stated.

"Not to mention, it doesn't lock away the rest of your magic for one type, meaning it's similar to the Emperor's Coven sigil." Kali explained.

"Ooh." Emira smiled. "Where do I sign up, can I get it in multiple colors?"

"It's never been done before, but I'm sure it can be at least tried." Makarov said.

"Really? If that's the case, I'd like to change the colors of mine." Luz said.

"Certainly." Makarov smiled. "I'm sure many of our members will be wanting to mix and match colors once it's verified. As for signing up, just go over to Mirajane at the bar, and she'll handle the rest once you tell her you'd like to join."

"Yes." Emira said, as she and Luz went to the bar.

"Those two certainly seem excited." Makarov smiled, before noticing Kali looking around. "Something the matter dear?"

"Where'd King run off to?" Kali asked. "He was just here when we walked in, and now he's not."

"Might I suggest over with Natsu's team?" Makarov suggested.

Kali looked towards Natsu's group, and saw the little demon talking with Natsu, as the pyro had somehow ended the fight with Grey, and now the entire team was there.

"Ed, could you go over, and make sure King doesn't suddenly get smothered by Erza's armor? She tends to go overboard when cuddling something she finds cute and adorable." Kali sighed, seeing how Erza was trying to restrain herself around King.

"I'm on it." Ed stated with a salute.

"What about you Amity, you gonna join?" Kali asked, looking to the youngest Blight.

"I don't know. Mom had a cow when she saw Ed's sigil. Just imagine how she'll react when she sees me with one." Amity said. "I wanna join, but I don't wanna upset my mother either."

"Odalia Blight." Makarov hummed. "Kali told me she'd gotten married to your father. But I initially heard about her through Edalyn when she was here."

"Wait, the Owl Lady was here?"

"Oh yes. She was here for three years after she accidentally sent herself to our world when tinkering with her portal door." Makarov said. "She and I were as thick as thieves. Especially since we technically were thieves, as we did do some minor theft in towns outside Magnolia."

"Minor theft?" Kali asked.

"A few apples here and there weren't so bad." Makarov said. "In comparison, it's far more tame then the property damage Natsu's team causes on the regular when going overboard on jobs."

"But back to the matter of your mom." Kali said, looking to Amity. "I don't really care if this is offensive, but your mother seems like a total money hungry bitch, with a control complex."

"Kali." Makarov said.

"What? It's my honest opinion of Odalia." Kali said. "I've literally seen that woman, steal the money out of a homeless persons tin with her oracle magic. Not even Eda's that greedy."

"Still, you shouldn't say it if you think it's gonna be offensive." Makarov said.

"You're… not wrong, actually." Amity sighed, knowing Kali was right. "So far, my dad's the only one able to keep her in line if she ever goes too far. An' to be honest, their marriage isn't out of love. Their marriage is the product of a business contract between the both of them."

"I'm sorry to hear that child." Makarov said. "How did you come to find out about this?"

"I asked my dad when I was little about how he met mom, and he doesn't really have any sort of sensors that prevent him from being too blunt. He even showed me and my siblings the contract." Amity said.

"Telling them about mom and dad's marriage contract?" Emira asked, coming back to their group.

"We were just discussing her reasons for feeling like she can't join." Kali said.

"In all honestly, Amity should be able to join." Makarov said. "She's at a rebellious age after all, and her parents don't really have any authority or leverage within Fairy Tail, let alone Fiore or Earthland."

"Are you giving Amity a loophole, old man?" Emira asked.

"I am shocked you'd accuse me, of trying to turn a sweet young girl, against her own parents." Makarov said with a mock gasp. "I simply just stated some facts, is all."

With a sly smile, Makarov looked to Kali and Amity, before turning back to head for the bar counter.

"So, where are your marks, and what colors are they?" Kali asked, looking to Em and Luz.

"I got my mark right here." Emira smiled, showing the mark was on the left side of her chest, in green and blue.

"I got mine replaced to right here." Luz said lifting her hoodie and shirt, showing the Fairy Tail emblem now on the front of her right hip, in pink, blue, and a segment of purple in the middle. "I chose the colors of my flag."

"Nice Luz." Kali smiled. "Both of yours are nice."

"So, what about you Amity, you gonna join?" Em asked her sister.

"I don't know." Amity said.

"Oh come on, please. We all came here to train and get stronger, so why can't we all form a team in Fairy Tail together?" Luz asked. "Amity, you're one of the strongest witches I know, so it wouldn't be the same without you."

Amity was silent for a moment, before she sighed, and bowed her head.

"Alright, fine. I'll join." Amity said.

"Great. C'mon, I'll introduce you to Mirajane." Luz smiled, grabbing Amity's wrist, causing her to blush before Luz dragged her away.

"You saw that, right?" Em asked.

"Oh, yeah. I saw that blush." Kali smiled. "Amity doesn't stand a chance against Luz."

"So, you and Ed."

"What about us?" Kali asked.

"You're more then just writing partners, aren't you?" Em asked.

"Yeah, so?"

"So… you haven't noticed how he acts around guys?"

Kali looked to Ed, who was trying to pull King away from Erza, as the redhead was smothering him too hard.

"I've noticed, but so what if he's bi? I'm bi." Kali said.

"Kali, I'm just wanting you to understand that he's more into guys, then girls. You may not see it, he doesn't even see it, but he'll realize it eventually, and I'm just not wanting to see you hurt." Em stated. "You're my friend, and despite how uncool you can be sometimes, you're still pretty great. I just don't wanna see your heart break from Ed realizing the truth about himself."

"I appreciate your concern, but I'll cross that bridge, when I get there." Kali smiled.

"Alright, Amity's all registered now." Luz smiled, coming back to their group. "Show them you emblem Amity."

Amity lifted her shirt, showing her emblem was on the front of her left hip, in Abomination purple.

"Ooh, nice Amity." Emira smiled.

"Alright, you three go get King and Ed back to the doors, while I go pick out a few jobs for us to do." Kali smiled.

~Later~

"So, I got a question for you Kali." Luz asked.

"What's up?" Kali asked, eating a sandwich.

"Well, it's just that I noticed that, Natsu gets motion sick whenever he's on a moving vehicle. But you're a Dragonslayer just like him, so why don't you get motion sick?" Luz asked.

"Oh, well that's easy to explain. A little gross though." Kali said.

"We've got some time to kill before we reach the first destination for our job." Emira said.

"Alright, just don't say I didn't warn you." Kali said, finishing off the sandwich. "There are several generations of Dragonslayers, five so far that I'm aware of. I happen to be a first and fifth gen Dragonslayer myself, which would technically make me the first and only of the sixth generation of Dragonslayers."

"What are the differences in the generations Dragonslayers?" King asked.

"I'll explain it to you the same way my mother explained it to me." Kali stated. "First gen Dragonslayers, are those who've been imbued with the power of dragons, via enchantment. Such as our two Dragonslayers at Fairy Tail Natsu, and Gajeel. They're both first gen, since like me, they were raised by dragons who they saw as their fathers."

"But, you were raised by a dragon too, right?" Ed asked.

"I was, and as it turns out, she was the mate for Metalicana, Gajeel's dragon father. Which sort of makes Gajeel and I siblings." Kali sighed.

"What about the other generations of Dragonslayers?" Luz asked, knowing this was an annoying subject for Kali.

"Second gens weren't raised by dragons. They're just sorcerers, who gained their Dragonslayer magic through Dragonslayer Lacrima. Magic crystals with the power of dragons imbued into them, similarly to first gen." Kali explained.

"Freaky, so anyone could become a Dragonslayer?" Amity asked.

"Not anyone." Kali said. "Dragonslayer lacrima are increasingly rare to find, mainly because they're the crystallized and fossilized blood of dragons, turned into lacrima. It makes them exceedingly rare and valuable."

"Is it possible, they form while still inside the dragon corpses?" Ed asked.

"It's possible. I mean, some dragons have been known to turn to stone at death. So I'm sure that's one of the ways dragons blood turns into lacrima." Kali explained. "Third gens, are basically a combination of first and second gens, where they've been both imbued with Dragonslayer magic, and they've absorbed Dragonslayer lacrima."

"Wow, talk about overkill." King stated.

"What about fourth gens?" Em inquired.

"Fourth gens, are artificially made Dragonslayers." Kali said. "I'm not entirely sure how it works, but someone from the Stella Kingdom, created artificial beings from Dragon Lacrima, giving them immense durability, speed, power. As automatons, they are capable of fighting indefinitely until their source of power is destroyed."

"I get the feeling my dad would get along with whoever made those automatons." Amity said.

"Agreed." Ed and Em nodded.

"What about fifth gens?" King asked.

"Fifth gen Dragonslayers…" Kali sighed, before she looked right at her friends. "Dragonslayers of this generation are those that gain their powers by devouring Dragon flesh or cannibalize of other Dragonslayers, which in turn allows us to gain the Magic Power of the devoured. Alternatively, we're known as Dragon Eaters. According to my mother, Fifth Generation Dragonslayers are incapable of succumbing to motion sickness compared to the other four generations. Which is why it negated my first gen motion sickness."

"Have you ever…"

"No, I've never eaten other Dragonslayers before." Kali said. "But… my mother would often go missing for a few days, and come back with a large haul of meat. I never questioned where the meat came from. But once my senses became heightened to that of a dragons, I noticed the meat always had a scent, similar to hers. So it's possible, she fed me dragon meat from other Vermilion Dragons she'd managed to track down."

"But, you said you were a mix of both a first and fifth gen right? Where does that play in?" Amity asked.

"It plays in, to the fact that my mother used an enchantment to imbue me with Dragonslayer magic." Kali stated. "I was a first gen, before I became a fifth gen, which means I'm probably the first and only sixth gen Dragonslayer alive."

"You said that before. I didn't really understand, until you mentioned how third gens are a combination of first and second." Ed stated. "So, I guess that would make sense."

"It would." Kali said. "I just don't understand, how I never asked my mother, where the meat truly came from. She always told me it was from some wild cows. I'll admit the meat did taste somewhat good like red meat, but I've had cow meat plenty of times since returning from my time with her, and nothing's ever tasted like the meat she gave me."

"I'm sure, she was just wanting you to be as strong as possible." Amity said. "Sometimes, parents do things their kids won't understand for the childs benefit."

"Mom ain't like that though." Em stated. "Everything she does, is part of her own personal, and selfish agenda."

"Damn straight." Ed stated.

"Okay, different topic." Luz said. "What's the first job we're doing Kali?"

"Oh, I am so glad you asked." Kali smiled. "The first job we're taking is gonna be fun."

~First Job~

"What made you think, this was gonna be an easy job?" Luz questioned, running around a tree, before sliding along the ground, evading a giant serpent head as it bit down on thin air.

"I never said it was gonna be easy." Kali defended. "I just said it was gonna be fun."

"Either way, you failed to mention it involved hunting a chimera, sewn together like some sort of lab experiment." Ed stated, using his illusion magic to keep the goat head distracted.

"Who would even make something like this anyway?" Amity questioned, using her Abomination to defend herself.

"An' isn't it supposed to have a lion head, not a dragon head?" Em questioned, healing an injury on Kali's arm.

"That's not a dragon, that's a Wyvern. They're more common then dragons." Kali stated, getting up. "Apparently, the magic council recently arrested someone doing illegal magic experiments with body parts from different animals. One of them got loose when the lab was raided, and has been terrorizing the country side ever since."

"That implies the job's been up for a while." Amity said, user her Abomination to keep the Wyvern head from biting down on her.

"No one took it, because no one thought it was serious." Kali stated, stepping forward. "They all thought it was a hoax."

"But considering this thing's larger then a transport worm, it's definitely not a hoax." Ed stated.

"So, you ready to take this thing down?" Luz asked.

"Oh, hell yeah." Kali smirked, requipping the wakizashi into her hand.

Pulling her arms back, Kali took a single step forward, before she leapt into the air, evading the giant goat head. Landing on it's back, Kali used the blade of her weapon to draw a giant circle with her magic. As the giant serpent head came to bite down on her, it was stopped by a foot, with its jaws wide open, as a giant stone hand grabbed the neck.

"This is for biting me, asshole." Kali stated, pulling out one of the fangs, before she made the giant crystal golem pull hard on the snake body that comprised the tail, and tore it from the rest of the chimera.

"Finish it off Kali." Em cheered.

Using her magic, Kali made the crystal golem keep the revived monster in place, before she turned to the necks, and looked at the stitches that kept the flesh sewn together. With a smirk, Kali held up her blade, and it began to glow and spark with electricity.

"Lightning Blade!" Kali called out, sending a crescent blade of lightning towards the base of the necks.

The body of the chimera stopped moving, when Kali's attack had sliced through the stitches, severing the heads of the monsters from the body.

"Whoa, yeah we did it." Luz smirked.

"Luz, wanna do the honors?" Kali asked, hopping down as her crystal golem collected all the body parts into a single pile.

"What honors?"

"We gotta burn the body. Creatures like these don't stay permanently dead for long, unless you turn them to ash." Kali explained.

"Oh sure." Luz smiled, holding up her staff. "Uh, how do I do fire again?"

"Concentrate." Kali smiled in amusement. "Visualize what you wanna do with your magic, and then…"

~Fwosh~

"An' that's it. You did it." Kali smirked, as the carcass was lit on fire.

"That, wasn't me." Luz said, sounding a little freaked out. "Amity?"

"It wasn't me either."

"Not me." Ed stated.

"I didn't do it."

"Weh, I can't use magic." King said.

"Then, if it wasn't any of us, who was it?" Kali questioned.

"Oh, Master's daughter…" A young woman's voice said, pulling Kali's attention to the source of the flames.

Standing in the foliage of the forest, was a young woman, with long red hair, wearing a red dress, and an insane look on her face. From part of the mark she could see under the dress, Kali knew, who she was dealing with.

"Great. As if Nullpudding wasn't bad enough." Kali hissed. "Let me guess, you're the newest member of Raven Tail?"

"Raven Tail?" Amity asked.

"Her father's Dark Guild." Kali said. "He sends his goons after her every now and then. But last I heard, there had been a nation wide manhunt for the master of the Dark Guild Raven Tail."

"The name's Flare." The red head girl said. "I'm here to retrieve you for the Master. He's growing impatient and wishes to resume his, bonding time with you. An' wants to thank you for the warm reception you gave him when you opened your shop."

"I'm not, going back to Ivan." Kali hissed. "Not now not ever."

"Kali, let's just portal to the client, and get the reward." Ed stated, stepping up next to her.

"Oh my, what's this?" Flare questioned. "Most of your friends don't appear to be human."

"They're witches from the Boiling Isles." Luz stated.

"Luz shut up." Kali hissed.

"Ooh, the master is gonna love bonding with all of you as well." Flare smirked.

"What is she talking about?" Amity asked.

"Luz, you should have kept your mouth shut." Kali stated, taking a fighting stance. "Now, Flare's not only gonna try and take me, but she's gonna try and take everyone here, to Ivan, so he can dissect you and learn how to give himself a Magic Bile Sac. An' given how Ed's male, he'll give himself a heart transplant with Ed's heart, if Flare brings us to him."

"No, I didn't mean…" Luz stopped when Kali tossed her weapon to her. "Kali?"

"Use that to get to Fairy Tail. I'll hold her off." Kali hissed. "Go. Inform gramps about what's going on."

"But what about you?"

"I'm the main person she's after. You're all secondary to her. Now go." Kali said.

"I got a better place we can hide out." Em said. "Mind if I use the blade?"

"Go for it." Kali said. "Just get out of here."

"Not so fast." Flare said, sending her hair at them.

"Hair?" King questioned.

Kali growled, before she lit her body on fire and blocked the attack, allowing for the scarlet locks to wrap around her arms, before burning away.

"Does anyone else smell burning hair?" Ed asked.

"Get going now!" Kali explained.

(Cue Music… Salute: Little Mix)

The opening Kali gave them, left enough time for Em to open a rift, before she tossed the portal blade back to Kali, and was the last to jump through before it closed.

"You're gonna pay for that." Flare said. "Master never said I had to bring you back, in one piece."

"Just try it bitch." Kali shouted, grabbing Flares hair, and with a shoulder throw, sent her arching through the air, and into the ground.

Flare glared up at the air, her teeth grit in annoyance, before Kali pulled on the hair again, and began swinging her around like a rope.

"I gotta break free." Flare said, before she lit her hair up in fire, with the flames reaching Kali's hands.

"Guess Ivan didn't know, fire isn't gonna work on me." Kali said, swinging Flare down into the ground. "Because I'm a DRAGONSLAYER!"

Pulling hard again on Flare, Kali continued to relentlessly swing the Raven Tail girl around, and slam her into the ground with rage fueling her body, before the length of hair she was pulling on, snapped and sent Flare flying into a tree, causing it to crack as the redhead picked herself up.

"That's it." Flare growled. "I'm gonna kill you. Then the Master will get what he wants, from your friends."

"Then guess what Flare." Kali hissed. "You're not leaving this forest, alive."

Flare just glared at Kali, before she cried out in pure rage, and sent whips of flaming hair at her. Maneuvering through the flaming whips, Kali used her wakizashi to slice the hair comprising them.

Without missing a beat, Kali moved closer to Flare, shortening her ranged weapon of choice with each slice, before Kali was in her face, and the wakizashi at her hip. Thrusting her clenched fist forward, the Dragonslayer slammed the hilt of her weapon into the redheads stomach, causing the wind to be knocked out of her, before he fell unconscious, and landed in Kali's arm.

(End Song…)

"I'm taking you in." Kali said, throwing Flare over her shoulder, and grabbing the fang she removed from the snake head. "Can't forget to take this in as well."

~Kali's Shop~

"Do you think she's all right?" Luz asked, pacing around the café.

"I'm sure she'll be fine Luz." Amity said, sitting at one of the tables reading Kali's book. "Wow, this is quite impressive."

"I know right?" Em smiled. "Her writing is the perfect balance of detail and story telling."

"How can you both be so calm about this?" Luz asked.

"Relax Luz." Ed stated. "Kali will be fine. She's a tough cookie."

"Besides, I'm sure she won't have any trouble against a girl our age." Amity said.

"Not to mention the fact that she's probably got a lot of anger towards Ivans guild, after that whole Demon Fetus fiasco that left her unable to have children of her own." King added, before a rift opened up.

"Here you are." Kali said, stepping through the rift. "Guess this is what you meant Em."

"Where better to look then the first place they'd already searched?" Em smiled. "Us coming here would have been so obvious they wouldn't have bothered coming here, because they wouldn't think we were that stupid."

"Reverse tactics." Ed stated.

"So how'd the fight go?" Amity asked.

"Well Flare's behind bars, and I have the reward money right here." Kali said, putting the bag of jewels on the counter, before tossing them each smaller bags of equal size.

"What are these?" Em asked.

"Snails. I divided them up, so you'd have an equal share. Unless you wanna have an actual share of jewels and then you'll have spending money for whenever you visit Earthland?" Kali asked.

"Let's go with that option." King said.

"Great." Kali smiled. "Because this is nothing but a bag of rocks, while I just tossed you all your share of the jewels."

"Alright, we got some spending money from another world." Ed cheered.

"Now, since we're here at my shop. Who's hungry?"
