Disclaimer: I do not own anything, expect the OC. This is just a story for fun.
(Author's Note: Heres a chapter that may seem off from the main story, but I promise you what happens in this chapter will play a big part later. After this chapter there will be another action chapter followed by some lighthearted chapters. Enjoy.)
While all the heroes were off fighting Alister and his forces at the manor, someone was sneaking around Wizard City. That person was Dimentio. The jester was invisible and he was making his way to the Capitol building of Wizard City. Dimentio passed by some Wizard Police unnoticed as he made his way into the Capitol building. He went down a long flight of stairs, until he reached the magic vault where various items of magic were kept. Dimentio became visible and faced the door.
"Open Sesame!"
The vault door opened and Dimentio.
"Works every time." He said as he walked into the vault.
The vault was full of staffs, wands, crystal balls, swords, daggers, capes, carpets, hats, gauntlets, boots, jewels, caldrons, and other various items. Dimentio looked through the items with very little interest, until he came across a small box with chains on it. The jester snapped his fingers and the chains fell off. Dimentio then opened the box and looked inside. Inside the box was a small black jagged stone, with blue markings on it. The stone seemed ordinary enough, but it had been found after the Bella Noche incident. The Grand Master Wizard had sensed that the stone contained a large amount of evil energy from Bella Noche and had the stone locked up in the vault. Dimentio picked the stone up and then pulled out the crystal shard he got from Archie's remains. The jester eyed the two items before he pocketed them.
Dimentio then turned towards a blank wall and drew a rectangle in the air. A section of the wall opened up and revealed a secret room. Dimentio went inside and found some stairs leading up to a platform with a large two foot tall wooden hand sitting on it. The hand had chains around it and their was a large white cloth wrapped around the palm.
"The Righthand of Wraith." Said Dimentio as he carefully approached the hand.
The thief pointed a finger at the chains and fired a beam of energy at them cutting them off. Dimension then picked the hand up and chuckled. He had just stolen one of the most dangerous items of magic and none of the Wizards in Wizard City didn't know! Dimentio reached into his sleeve, pulled out a playing card with a laughing joker on it on the platform. The villain then snapped his fingers and vanished in a flash of light. It would be several hours before anyone would know that the vault had been broken into and that a couple of dangerous magic items had been stolen. Nobody would know, who stole the items, but one thing was for sure, whoever did was both skilled in magic and utterly insane.
To be continued.
